BUG. Just paid for the hi resolution earth and everytime it downloads the app only stays at the intro screen and I end up having to delete the app entirely and re download. Please fix this I don’t want to feel like I just wasted my hard earned money.

Great App. My three year old is obsessed with the solar system and this is perfect for him. Educational and fun for him. He spends at least an hour at a time looking at the different planets, dwarf plants and comets.

Very good so far with intuitive interface. I'm enjoying the app so far and it's easy to use. Wish it included Trappist-1 info or offered an upgrade purchase for it.

Faster time. It’s fine. I would like it if you would use voices to go to other years faster. I’M NOT A FAN THAT I CAN ONLY GO TO THE YEARS 500 TO 5000. Can you include black holes and white holes ? We can’t see much. Also include the right color of the stars. For example Betelgeuse is orange not pink. Can you also improve the status on stars. There aren’t much status and it doesn’t make sense. Also can you show what it looks like at that time. For example I went year 500 and it what it is today that’s all the improvements I want. 2WEEKS LATER..... IF YOU RESPONDED WHY IS IT NOT IMPROVED. BETELGEUSE IS STILL PINK WHEN IT’S ACTUALLY ORANGE. START DOING IT OR I’M GOING TO REDUCE MY REVIEW TO THREE STARS IF YOU DON’T DO IT IN A MONTH.

Quite remarkable. Wow. This app is intense in the way that apps can be when someone builds something that, as some other reviews explicitly state: this app looks like a game, but packs some prime science throughout. I’ll bet that most of the users who were thinking they had a new strategy game actually learned something. That’s the kind of thing that makes teaching great. Fortunately your users are not required to respond to, and you are not responsible for a roll whenever some cranks up your app! I’m not sure how that would work,8>)

Wow! What a great waste of money!. don’t waste your money on this, very unrealistic, limited, expensive waste of space of a game

Fun and cool, maybe AR too?. Excellent app, very informative and fun to play with. Have you thought about making an AR version? It would make this app incredible!

Big issue.. Edit: Deleted and reinstalled to fix. First of all I love this app! I prefer it over solar walk 2 because of the better resolution and full screen when using screen mirroring. I just noticed my app is stuck on the intro Solar Walk screen. I can hear music but it is stuck on the intro loading screen. Hopefully this can be fixed.

Movies. The reason this is a four star review is because one of the movies doesn’t work. It’s called size comparison and it just doesn’t work. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or what but I would think that for more than 10 bucks you can at least make all the things you paid for usable. Otherwise it’s great!

Awesomeness. This is the best way to learn about the Solar System. Everything is in great detail. Very clear and easy to use.

It is great when it doesn’t crash. The app has a bug where every so often it will crash and freeze on the loading screen, the only way to fix is to uninstall then reinstall it. Besides that my son loves it.

Extrasolar planets!. I have had this app for years, and I haven’t seen any significant changes to this app. It is great on its own; an encyclopedia about our cosmic home. And, to keep users up with news about this home, you could add a “news” section, talking about all the updates on the solar system. Maybe you could talk about what scientists think about life in Jovian or Saturnian moons. You could talk about the future mission to Uranus. You could talk about Artemis! I also wish this app encompassed star systems outside of the Sun. We could learn about the Alpha Centauri system and its 3 stars, the Fomalhaut system and its dust ring, and so much more. Also, I want to learn a bit more about our Milky Way as a whole. Its satellite galaxies, the Sagittarius Stream, etc. This app has incredible potential, I’m disappointed that it hasn’t moved forward so much I think this app could become a great resource for astronomy in general, not just for our solar system.

After I got the app, it never loaded.. I was excited to play. I logged on, then it went to a glitched screen so I just clicked off and on. Never loaded. I was worried if I wasted my money, as maybe the app didn’t let me on or something. Please let me know what’s going on.

Great game!. When I got this game, it was actually pretty cool, the animations, movies, etc. Plus a lot of the stuff are very detailed. So this game is great overall.

Fabulous Application. Super easy to use this, with a push of a finger. Very detailed graphics and real time updating. Just place your phone up to the skyline, and the app does the rest. Seeing is believing. You will be impressed !!!!

Great app, but.... I’ve used this app for several years at my school for teaching solar system themes. It’s a great app. However, for some reason ever since iOS 11 or so, the app will not open and crashes immediately every time i open it. The only way i can open the app is to completely shut down my iPad and restart it. The app will then run once, and only once, before the problem happens again. I’m using a new iPad with the latest iOS, so it’s not a hardware or iOS problem. :(

Great app. I had it for two years now and always enjoyed everything about it.

Doesn’t work…. For a the past few months every single time I open this app, it’s stuck in the intro screen with the music playing. Not able to access anything beyond that. The only time I can is when I delete the app and download it once more and even then, it works just the first time. This is one of my core app having been maybe the 1st ever app I downloaded way back when I bought the then new iPhone 4 and would love to access the information. So if the developers read my review, please find and fix the issue.

Suggestions-please update. I know a lot of stars some of them I don't know and there is one that I haven't seen on this and it's name is U I scuti you can rea-search it on google. (information: U I scuti is the largest star in the galaxy. It's going to explode soon in the years that people call the future and please add black holes) and then there is a planet called Proxima B and also please add it to the map.( information : the planet has 3 suns its main one is a red dwarf star. The other 2 are regular stars. When all the sun's light is put together its still is not bright enough to be brighter then the sun. The planet is all ways facing the red dwarf star and if you want to die then you can this is your dream place you will die from not enough sleep. Killing someone in a ceremony would be easy here)

Simply wonderful app. Visually stunning. The background soundscape adds to the whole experience of using the app.

I love this app. If you enjoy looking up at the stars and would love to know what is above you, this app is for you. It also sends you info on upcoming events, like The strawberry moon or when the next meteor shower will be.

Love app BUT. We get notification that launched a browser for the topic of the notification. No way to get back into that browser if the access is interrupted. The content was interesting enough to look at and an ad caught my eye. When I lost the connection, there was no way back into the embedded browser

This app is very detailed and informative!. I recently downloaded this app after a relative recommended it and I love it! My only complaint is that I purchased the HD earth, mars, and Venus options but when I zoom in to look at the planets it gets really glitchy and all of it or big chunk of the planet goes dark. Other than that, this app is spectacular!

Impressive. I like the app and the options it has. I wish it had a function for choosing another planet, instead of Earth that stays in the center of the screen as you pan towards the solar system. I am looking forward to using the Apple TV option to display this in my classroom on my SMART board

Same as the free app. I thought I’d unlock the features from the free version of this app. Instead, you get a few 2 min videos unlocked. It that it? How is this possible? I really notice ZERO difference after spending $5.00 on this

A must have. Space exploration at its finest. For the novice arm chair space traveler to the NASA scientist. An unbelievable application to expand one’s knowledge about our solar system!

Complete Rip Off. This is my first ever app review. I had to write this because this app is a rip off. I bought this app for five dollars for my kids due to the good reviews. However, to look at ANYTHING in the app, you have to make additional in-app purchases which range from one to five dollars EACH. Waste of time and money. Scam

Vito Technology is/are brilliant.. Their products make real use of all the technologies in modern phones and tablets, compasses, gyroscopes, accelerometers, cameras, displays and things I’ve probably never heard of. And we use our amazing devices for texting and checking FB... it’s shame. If you have kids invest in their education by investing in Vito Technology... or invest if you have any sense of wonder left over from your own childhood. Amazing stuff.

Awesome. I love solar walk! I have all of the astronomy apps and they are so awesome! All I ask for you to add is more stars like Polaris. Other than that it is a awesome astronomy app! Oh and I have used this app for years and it has grown so much!

Real as it gets!. My five-year-old boy is fascinated with this app. I actually learned things and understands concepts such as depth, distance and our beautiful galaxy. Way to go!

Too good to be true. This app has been with me in my pocket since my first device it's a must have and no matter the pass of time it always looks super modern and pro. I'm glad and thankful for this great app.

Freakin Awesome!!. This app is a great informative and detailed educational tool. I have already learned some interesting facts about the solar system and the terrestrial planets in it!! Highly recommended for anyone interested in obtaining knowledge regarding our place in the universe!!! One issue is how the sun is depicted in the App Store sample images of the app. The sun does not look like the image!! Not even close.

GREAT APP!. Love the graphics,sounds and tutorials. Very active 4 year old with very active hands that explore the site...never freezes/crashes on him. Would LOVE a Black Hole Add on...

Year 4000?. Love the app, have had it for years now. Has anyone else seen what looks like a weird glitch when the calendar is turned to year 4000AD? All the planets jump to the opposite side of their orbits. It’s kind of hilarious but probably not within the realm of orbital mechanics.

4000BC!?!?!. When I went to 4000BC Uranus jupiter and Saturn went towards the sun AND I MEAN ALOT LIKE CLOSER THE MERCURY a few years before that earth went INSIDE OF THE SUN and this was in 4000BC how did those humans survive and HOW WAS THERE STILL WATER ON THE PLANET LIKE WHY but it was really cool and strange it was turning like \ \ \ | This word is the sun

So cool our solar system is beautiful! 😍. I learned what our Milky Way 💫🪐🌍 looks like. It looks like a UFO 🛸. And my favourite planet 🌎 is Uranus because it is a really pretty shade of blue and it has a ring like Saturn 🪐 . By a 9 yr old

Simply superb. Also a superb way to waste an afternoon :-). Gorgeous design, lovely graphics, accurate, what more can you ask for? Perhaps names on the satellites to be turned on and off at will so so you don't have to fully zoom in to see which one is coming over soon? :-)

A complaint from a unhappy purchaser. I am not happy with your 'high resolution Earth ' in- app purchase as it is not high resolution. I would like an update or I would like my 3 dollars back since I purchased 3. It is unacceptable and must get an improvement. From your unhappy customer :(

Absolutely amazing!!!!. I love this app has a brilliant sense of scale! The only improvement I could possibly suggest is when you zoom out to the galaxy to be able to see a few other galaxies just as a background (or maybe to be able to click on the nearest galaxies) but this is a great app in every way <3

Great but.... This applicaiton is great. It shows the planets and its satellites pretty well and is able to zoom out to the milky way. Great educational app. However... Because it is an educational app, what would be good is if the company can do the iPad to projector thing, like they did with their other app "Star Walk". This way, I don't have to crowd around a little screen with my kids. If they do make this update, it'd be good to make it so the display reflects on both screens, so that the person holding the iPad can present!

Adding spacecraft and more movies. Overall it is a fantastic app but I think it need to have the positions of spacecraft in the solar system and the ability to watch live progress of them! That would make it that little bit more awesome :) Oh and it also needs more movies! Thank you do much for creating this wonderful app!

Simply beautiful. Solar walk is gorgeous on the iphone and would be beyond beautiful on the ipad. The information it provides is only hindered by a few small details that are either incorrect or have not been included but again, this is a very small issue. It would have been a whimsical desire for the app to take you on an automated tour of the solar system with the options to view details along the way able to be turned on or off as you please and to set the speed of the traveler and have the choice to make the journey a once around event or a continuous one but whimsical or not it would be a lie to say that it wouldn't be appreciated in a future update. One thing that was indeed appreciated greatly was the option to view the app in anaglyphic 3D. Certainly a must buy for anyone that has even a passing intrest in the cosmos. PS - Thanks for Pluto Please give the option to turn the lines off or on.

Interesting but rather limited. The app has the potential to be quite a useful tool for education. As it is the information is quite concise and could potentially be expanded. The fly throughs and animation are quite good but can get old after the first few times. I would love to see higher resolution or better quality images when zoomed right in. I personally feel that the 3D component is gimmicky and does not add to the user experience.

Slow and clunky. Half the time it won’t even load the high definition textures for some of the planets… Making it look like the app was designed from the 90s.

Excellent app with excellent support.. My kids love the app. When the sound stopped working I emailed support and go a response the next day. It turned out we muted the iPod which affected sound from the app. We were very happy with the quick response, and are very happy with the app. Excellent graphics, info and ability to interact with the planets.

Solar Walk connection to monitor/tv. This application is brilliant, so much wonderful work has gone into it, well done to all who have had a hand in creating it. One suggestion though please, when you connect the iPhone to a tv you cannot view planet photos or info on the projection, also it would be helpful to keep the images the same on both the projection and the iPhone, having just a grey screen when plugged into a tv does not give you the ability no navigate with ease, just some suggestions, otherwise I'm very impressed with your work, cheers Dan :)

Love it. Yes it is beautiful on iPad! Love how you can just roam around space and see what things look like from every perspective. Zoom right in to a satellite 20km above the earth or out to 130,000 light years and see the whole galaxy. Especially love the movies - they are very informative - more please!

A great app. But please add one feature.. This is a fantastic app. It has a beautiful interface and is very handy for teaching my class. I downloaded another app with VGA adaptor support so I can project it through a data projector. This feature alone would definitely boost your sales. Especially with all the teachers out there.

Needs more, consider these updates. Not worth 4 bucks to be honest I was bit disapointed but I know some updates that will make it worth buying First off just general info and maybe some videos about the universe and distant stars. Second, make some simulations of stuff happening. 1. Of wat will happen if our sun explodes and like show some of the planets getting destroyed. 2. Of wat will happen if our moon smashed into the earth. 3. Of a supernova exploding, and other stuff u think is interesting. Overall a 3/5 at the moment

Accuracy?. A beautiful app for exploring the solar system and for using as a teaching aid… but I've had to question the accuracy of it on a couple of occasions when the alignment of planets doesn't seem to quite correlate with what we're seeing in the sky, or the developer's own Star Walk app for that matter.

One of a kind!. The fact that this app has a vast amount of content yet runs so smooth, makes it extremely enjoyable for all lovers of space and astronomy. Accompanied by a vivid soundtrack, this is an app I open whenever I feel the need to spend some time with the limitless heavens above.

Nice app could be great. This app looks great. Very smooth. Tons of potential. However it feels underdeveloped - no moons by Neptune. No Pluto or other kinda largish objects in our solar system. Planets are way oversized in 2d view - please give an option to have all objects in real scale to as that'd give feeling of intensity of our solar system. Have option to look at another planet - making it easy to track objects say look at earth from Jupiter. Needs more depth in exploring/ discovering solar system. Good app. High price means really hope developer should give this more of the love it needs to be all it needs to be, especially when a competitor app from starmap pro dev has come out and looks brilliant (but sadly that's only iPad right now - )

Awesome. I think this is a brilliant app but despite this not being a game, I would like to see MFi support in this app. Why, well it would be easier to use this app when it is connected to a TV through HDMI or AirPlay. Also I think it wonderful that it is in 3D, but the short movies are not, I would like to see 3D throughout the app, not just on the solar system. Anyway great app, definitely worth buying.

Excellent Astronomy learning app. I find this app very user friendly, informative and easy for showing fiends the wonders of Astronomy.

Brilliant. Beautifully rendered, this app contains a wealth of information. It's settled quite a few family arguments about what planet has this moon, or is this planet bigger than that.

A sensational experience.. This app was brilliant when released, both visually and musically. it is now breathtaking in it's presentation of the stars and planets for both adults and more importantly children. This will encourage and inspire kids of all ages to take an interest in the environment that surrounds the environment we all are learning to take care of. To be honest I bought this application for myself..just to watch and stare! (firstly on the Mac and then on the iPad) and my son loves it like I do. Well done and thanks to the development team for bringing this spectacular out of world experience to everybody.

Exceptional. A lot of apps claim to be good but this app is excellent, I've had it for about a year or so and in that time it's gotten better and better, every time I think it's as good as its going to get, they find a way of adding more stuff. Keep up the great work, your setting the bar very high for others to try and chase.

Cool App. It is definitely a cool app to have. The graphics are nice and well done, the movies are educational and the navigation to the planets is nice. I couldn't get to tap the 5 stars yet, as I think some features need really to be included here, in addition to the ones already there. Here are some constructive feedback for the developers. You have done really well, but I would have liked to see the following - Support for AppleTV; the 3D support is nice to have, however, how many of us do have one. - expansion to the universe; I wanted to venture out from our galaxy to the other galaxies (even if not possible to enter). Just being able to see our galaxy among the other 100s of billions of galaxies. - Would be great to have a little movie on each planet with its characteristics to complement the textual content. Additional movies on other solar systems and even the galaxy will round this app to be the best in its class. I am really hopefully that some of these points could be considered in later updates. With a simple swipe, scroll and pinch, you will be transported across space and distance, travelling through the Solar System at warp speed! Fly-by the Sun, inner terrestrial planets, gaseous giants, asteroid belt, visit comets. Making discoveries along the way, before leaving our Milky Way Galaxy for interstellar space. High Definition detailed views of the surfaces of the Moon and Mars, moons of Jupiter, rings of Saturn, brilliant Sun with solar flares and sun spots. Educational in app purchases of past missions, animations including : Apollo Moon landings, Space Shuttle, low orbit satellites (ISS) and Martian Space Probes. An essential app for young (Students) and old (budding) Astronomers!

Visually impressive. This is a very impressive application. Being able to fly around the solar system and look at the planets and get the essential details of each of the bodies in our solar system makes it a great resource for kids and people with a passing interest in astronomy. The level of detail in the information is fairly limited but seems to contain the essential details (mass, orbit, rotation, composition, etc). I couldn't work out how to rotate a planet so that features on the night side became visible although I assume it can be done. One problem was that when viewing the text about the composition of a body, the graphic showing the various layers down to the core was concealed under the text panel - a fairly obvious problem that should have been picked up and fixed before release. On balance though, this is an impressive app.

Interesting. really good but when you zoom in those planets surfaces should look something like they really are like th earth and maybe when you zoom into the sun it has moving fire. A little bit more information about the planets and moons would be good to.

Awesome app!. I bought it two days ago after my science teachers showed it to us during our earth topic, and i loved it, and it taught me heaps about the earth. Love this app, have spent hours on it already! If you want to get it but think its too expensive, it is so worth it!!!!!

Where is Pluto. This is a great app with a big unacceptable flaw: missing key objects from the Solar system is like showing a kid half the story ! - Solar system with no Pluto ??? (note that the start-up screen does show Pluto). Where is Pluto? - Where are the complete set of moons on Neptune? - Where is the asteriod bell ? - No images ! I know this app is more like a modelling app but come on, add some images, true, real images ! - The Sun is no good, no coronal loop, no magnetic field, no solar storm, no surface activity, just a boring big golden globe with faking light rays. Author, please add these key info into the true Solar System in the nearest update, otherwise many people like me will vote 1-star for an up-to-5 star app. Good things: - 3D does work well ! I've amazed everyone I showed with the 3D ! - Smooth graphic, transitional time is good. Control is simple (a bit too simple, little no option). - Fun app however, the educational value is 1/10 providing that very little information on everything is given. There's little to none focus on the actual system. If you don't care about anything else but just flick and flick the "eight" planets, seeing the rotating 3D model (remember to wear your glasses). Then get it. If you do care about the above cons, then please wait until next update ! I don't know how well the authors respond to this, but I will remain 1-star for this app, until the app gets what it needs.

Simply Amazing. Wow, First App that made me speechless in how amazing it is, looking at the planets, gazing at Earth and the satelites, watching inspiring videos on our solar system really makes you appreciate how unique we are and how small we are in this universe, quality is amazing, music really adds to it. This will certainly be in Top grossing apps but if it could add the option of VGA connection to see it on the big screen TV, Wow that would be jaw dropping.

Raised expectations; but still not right. It's astonishing what this app -does- accomplish: beautiful images, intuitive controls. Our expectations are raised by that, though, and eg we expect the positions to be accurate, too. But they don't seem to be. Lining up the earth and another planet should locate the planet in its constellation: but it doesn't agree with Sky Walk's idea of where the planet should be. And looking at Earth's orbit from the sun should agree with the ecliptic: but that too seems to be quite a long way off, passing through Orion's belt. Hoping that getting those calculations right is not too difficult... Update October 2010: All the above still true; a beautiful app. Unfortunately the background is still way off. On Sep 15 the Sun is sitting on Orion's belt, viewed from Earth.

Outstanding visual app. This app is sublime! The visuals are nothing short of spectacular and the interface smooth and sleek - a sheer delight. It's a knockout for anyone interested in the solar system. I can't wait to try it out on the iPad (when it finally arrives). Fantastic!!

Recommend. Like its bigger brother (star walk) this app is easy to navigate and user friendly. The information it provides on most objects in the solar system is detailed enough for even the most advanced users. Would like to see more apps from you guys like this one and Saturn walk. Please keep the updates flowing.

Mr. Too hard to use - doesn’t do anything

Great BUT. Absolutely fantastic App and worth the $3 purchase that individuals pay. I look forward to the continued expansion and updates of this sensational app. However, I work for a school that recommends apps for purchase. At $3 per app per unit of work this would work out to be about $200 worth of purchases per student just for the useful educational apps alone... As a result can't recommend the app any more....

Amazing for education!. This app is just totally amazing as a teaching tool for students. They were attentive and the videos were just icing on the cake. It allows them to physically see how the phenomena of space works in a clear visual connection. They were even asking me what the name of the app was!!

My favorite app. Easily my favorite app, have spent way too much time exploring the galaxy, zooming in moving around, reading info, understanding how everything works, it's just magnificent. It's the first app I show anyone when I want to show them how beautiful things can look on the iPhone. Absolutely Beautiful App. This is perhaps the greatest educational application I have ever downloaded. It is utterly stunning, with useful information and the 3D TV affect is a great addition. I couldn't believe how beautiful this app looked and then I put it up on my Telly and it is even better! I cannot recommend this app enough, as it is a fantastic complementary app to Solar Walk as well. The developers need to be congratulated for designing such a fantastic app! Well done!

Wow, what a great way to show off the iPad and make astronomy interesting. In a few seconds I can demonstrate to my son how small the Moon is relative to the Earth, how slowly the outer planets orbit the sun, how big the rings of Saturn are, and how the moons of Jupiter orbit the planet at an angle. This is one of the best touch interface implementations I've seen on the iPad, well done!

Mind blowing app. Wow. I'm really obsessed with Outer Space and this app really blew me away. Tons of information, I learned a lot about Other planet's moons. All of this and amazing quality with captivating images of stars ( it was nice to see what they looked like), planets, satellites ( natural and artificial). What would make it even more amazing is if you added the dwarf and minor planets, black holes, comets, meteors, asteroids, meteorites, and the Oort Cloud, let's not forget the Kuiper belt. I would recommend this to anyone who loves space or who wants to learn about it

something wrong got be fixed ... soon :-). First , i loooove it !!! ... then i realised the actual time ( where i live ) is 12 Noon Canada Pacific time , the sun should be on top of my city , but the Vancouver is completetly in the DARK !!!??? .. Then i moved the Earth Globe around to the other side , the Sun ( according to the sunlight ) is above ... India , LOL ..... PLease fix the time of the APP according to the Iphone time : 12am > 12 am , not 12PM . Many thanx .

Will blow your mind. Let me start my saying that by the new standard that this application has set for me, every other application I've given a 5 star rating is now a 4. This application displays the solar system to scale with simply incredible graphics and provides a phenomenal array of intergrated features that make the experience worth coming back for every day. More than a simple reference, this app really captures the "mood" of cosmology. It really does signify the insignificance of humankind, and when a solar system application (as opposed to galaxial or universal) for the iphone (with such little screen real estate!) can remind us of that, then you know they got it perfect in every way. The new standard for 5/5.

Good but could be better. Where is Neptune's moon? What about Pluto? I know it isn't a planet anymore but we all grew up when it still was, and afterall NASA still sent a probe to explore it...

Outstanding on many levels. I saw this application by chance in an iPhone at an apple store and I was immediately immerse in it oblivious of the hundreds of people around. Fascinating graphic rendering, suggestive music, realistic proportion of the dimensions of the celestial bodies (optionally), you can wonder for the planets of our solar system and at the mean time learn a plethora of related information. It comes even with several "cinematic" (automated animation of the same graphical engine) topics like what causes tides, moon phases etc. For whoever has curiosity and share a fascination for the wanders of our nearest universe, I could't find a better window to it for my iPhone/iPad. Could also render in 3d if u have the proper glasses. Education has never been that engaging!

Could be good with a lot of software tweaks. Looks nice, but very stupid It announces news,after one look away, you can’t get back to it. This happened to me with the green comet

Great learning tool!. My four year-old boy and I lie in bed and read solar system books and although he *loves* space, most of what we're reading is lost on him. But when we read the books and use Solar Walk to better understand concepts like rotation, orbit and axis', my boy's ability to understand and retain these concepts dramatically increases. ... Not to mention I think it's the coolest app ever; I was never hot on science but this app makes it fun even for a dude like me.

Best Virtual Space Simulator Ever!. What are you waiting for. This app is amazing. Press. Dat. Download button. The graphics are amazing, and it also comes with little movies! Honestly, the amount of info I got out of this app. The only thing that can be improved is more stars, and maybe other solar systems WITH other stars? Otherwise, great app!

Évaluation en francais. Cette app est intéressante pour découvrir le système solaire le soir assis sur le patio ou devant un feu. Les enfants y apprennent beaucoup de faits sur les systèmes solaire et lunaire. Les adultes qui n'écoutaient pas à l'école pourront y découvrir ce que les profs nous faisaient connaître avec passion !-) Les apps associés se vendent à un prix correct. Je pense qu'il vaut mieux acheter les diverses apps et moins les ajouts à chacune des apps. Par rapport aux jeux, je trouve que ces apps valent vraiment leur prix d'achat. Nous avons acheté l’extension des Constellations en décembre 17; intéressant mais on se lasse à la longue, notre fille aime bien. GJR

Outstanding all the way. As an amateur astronomer, this app captivated me from the get-go. Lots to see and learn. The solar "warp" one experiences zooming from one planet (or star!) to another with a single tap is exhilarating. I then discover that you can punch it to a 3D television or projector and explore in gorgeous 3D! Give this app to a child and watch the young'un be absorbed for hours. Anyone who digs astronomy will simply love this app. Hand a tablet or smartphone loaded and running this excellent app and just try to pry it from their fingers. Love. This. App.

Apple TV ?. I just bought solar walk app and I can see that we can connect on Apple TV in the parameter. But, look like it is not possible. How can I connect this app on my Apple TV ?

Won't Run - iPad 1. Might be great but who knows, won't run on iPad 1, iOS5.1. Tried reboot, reinstall etc, no luck. Simply crashes after initial open screen.

Great App, Related to Star Walk. I think the AI with exploring planets and specific stars are very valuable too. In my history, I use to snuggle w. my mom and those videos of the Phases of The Moon, Tidal Phenomena, and Cassini, are what I amazingly enjoy about the app. But the only glitch I would say from those video would be “Size Comparison”, it’s just showing Venus, Earth, Neptune and Uranus and that’s it. No moving video, no other planets. But I’m not complaining on the app because, I loved your apps for years. Thank you for reading this one report I outta say to the developers of your following program. 🌌🥰🌌 I <3 space!

Requires constant reinstall. This app always has an issue with getting stuck on initial loading screen and I have to remove permissions and reinstall on my child’s laptop all the time to make it work again. Does this on old and new iPads and iPhones. Please fix!

Great little app but needs more detail. It's a great app to learn the basics of the solar system but only has the larger planets. It does not contain the dwarf planets. Hopefully this will be added in the next versions.

Very awesome app. Always turn to this when I need an escape... Cool to cruise the solar system. Kids love it too. The hi-def Earth, Mars, Venus and moon inapp purchases are well worth the money.... Very educational.

Why such a low notation?. I discovered a problem that you should correct in ‘Solar Walk’ App: major one. What I see naked eyes in the sky: Jupiter’s & Saturn’s path crosses the galactic plane near its center SA* , observation that brings me & us to major development in astronomical comprehension of the celestial movement (cmo: observers). What I see through the SWapp: the galaxy, as a fond, a decor, back landscape is not there: whether it has been slewed on the wrong side of the solar system, or too fade. When I enlarge (or retract, as going higher focus or focal), still the error is apparent. Indeed, this summer passage of the ecliptic in front of galaxy center indicates solar orbital plane of the planets is perpendicular to galactic plane. I discovered this, but I’m not the first: For you to visualize: Youtube: Le Système Solaire en 2D 3D 4D. I would like a respond from any info master before I let go this: you would sell ’’New improved designed Solar Walk with Galactic Orientation’’. By the way, next move should be pointing the constellations or some important neighbouring stars in this slewing outward trick. Looking forward to hear or read from someone in the app design room. Mind bogglingly awesome!. I just wish there was a greater limit to the zooming out. When I show people this app for the first time and they zoom all the way out, their jaws drop and that look of utter awe washes over their faces... And then "awww that's it? Darn it!" Absolutely worth the price of admission. Well done devs! Well done indeed!

Some staff don’t work well.. I love the app but the button to unlock the Mars HD pack doesn’t work and when you press apps

I viewed space for a short time.. Solar Walk is great and everything, but it’s just that… …after 5 minutes, the app just glitches. The glitchout I had was pixel-ish looking. It kind of looked like a red star with a ring, but was blurry and pixelated. At the time, I was just viewing satellites until it happened. I swiped the app out, but it didn’t work. It just showed a black screen with Solar Walk on it, with that space-style music. A wondrous world of space inside your phone (or tablet) turns into what it’s like watching an OST video on YouTube just looking at the photo. Great app, bad execution.
