Fun for the kids!. This app is great to get kids into the Christmas spirit! It’s also helpful when encouraging them to not be “naughty” as I can just call Santa right up! It’s easy to use and a great way to keep the holidays happy for everyone.

Amazing entertainment for the little ones!. I was prepping to go home for the holidays and knew my kid nephews were going to be on candy cane sugar-rushes 24/7, so I got this app to entertain them. So far, it's been working perfectly! The kids are entertained and my sister couldn't be happier. Not only is the app entertaining but it enhances the holiday spirit and tradition that we have all come to love. Wish I had this when I was a kid. For the $1.99 price tag, the app is a steal.

Instant entertainment (and discipline!!!). What a cool idea for Christmas. Used it with my kid last year when he was misbehaving and he started behaving immediately. Now all I have to do is threaten calling Santa. Worth the money. Now that the app has smoother transitions it will make it more realistic since he is a year older and wiser...

LOVE IT!! A must buy. This is the perfect app for kids 7 and under!! I am nikki and I am 15. My little sister, Erin (age 5) used to be very bad. She would hit, scream, and be rude but now everytime she does that I always bring out my iPhone 4 and say, "I guess I have to give Santa a call" and now shes rarely like she used to be. Its not just a fun app for kids but it teaches them to b nice. Who ever made this app, IS AWSOME!!

Not optimized for iPhone X. XS, XR, or XS Max. The “FaceTime” feature looks fake since the view has giant black bars top and bottom. Easy fix. Will change to 5 stars after. Good app though.

Pretty good. My 3 year old loves this app but I docked one star for 2 reasons; 1) it repeats the same thing everytime which is obvious to both me and my daughters starting to catch on. Be nice if it had a few different scripts for naughty and nice to choose from. 2) you can see when it cuts before a "new scene" or whatever plays. My daughter asked what that was so it's noticeable. Not super smooth. All around good app though. Worth the 1.99 considering the others out there I've seen are complete garbage.

Fantastic Christmas App!!. This is my grandsons's most favorite Christmas app! He can't wait to speak with Santa when he's been good. And boy he sure does NOT want us to call Santa when he's been bad! We've got some hilarious videos of him talking to Santa, thanks to this app! Keep up the great work! Highly recommend.

Really, its that NICE. I really gotta hand it to the creators of this fun little app! It's kept my twin boys (4yrs) entertained long enough for me and the wife to wrap their gifts (I know it's early, so sue me) without them noticing. Spoiler alert: we're actually Jewish - and it doesn't matter to them or us! So much fun!

Better than others. This app allows your child to "FaceTime" Santa. My 5 year old was completely convinced that she spoke with him. Santa doesn't say your child's name, but it's is a lot better than most of the apps like this. There are directions that tell you to tap the screen when your child is done talking or that it will continue in 15 seconds (or something like that), and the end of that listening period looks edited and doesn't match the beginning of his next sentence. My child did not notice that because she was so excited. I wouldn't use this more than once or twice though,as there are only two call options - naughty or nice. The voicemail option is where you or your child calls to "leave a message" for Santa. These messages are not recorded, just so you know.

Works almost everytime. Labor day may feel too early to see the decorations in the store (for some people) but it's never the wrong time for a call to Santa. I've let my daughter know I'm calling him everyday as we head into the homestretch...

.. I LOVE this app!! My niece & nephew were beyond themselves thinking they were talking to Santa. An added plus is I found out their Christmas Wish List without even having to ask!! They walked around the house telling everyone how they got to talk to Santa. They had the biggest smile on their face.

AWESOME!!!!. Don't let the "no sound" reviews deter you from getting this app! It does indeed have sound, one just has to make sure that their phone is NOT on silent or vibrate for it to work. This is an awesome way to encourage kindness and good behavior year round, not just around Christmas time! I had to use this when my daughter was "naughty" once and it was super hard to keep a straight face watching her expressions while Santa put her name on the watch list. Also, you do have to touch the screen after you have relayed the info to Santa to move on to the next part of the conversation. It's that easy and simple! I recommend this to all parents and grandparents! Oh, in regards to another review left for this app-- you can't edit a FaceTime conversation in "real-life" so it just makes sense that you can't edit the picture in this app either!?

Cool idea. I don't get all the negative rants complaining that it's a recording. The description explains exactly what it does. The idea is really cool and would work quite well if there were a couple of improvements. For starters, Santa is very long winded and doesn't hold the attention of children young enough to be fooled by the app. Also a variety of recorded interactions would make it more useful for those who may be... Repeat offenders. Probably should have paid $1 rather than $2 for the quality but still worth it for the kids' reactions.

Video Calls with Santa is AMAZING!!!!. I don't think I've ever seen kids more engaged! My niece loves it and calls Santa every night to remind him of the fact that they don't have a fireplace so he has to ring the doorbell! Really fun! This should be an amazing way to keep kids in line throughout the year...Can you imagine parents telling kids, "i'm gonna call Santa!!!!" LOL!!!

Best video Santa app. I’ve tried a bunch of these and this is by far the best / most believable. Tapping on the screen when you want Santa to speak really works well with our son. Thanks for updating for IOS 14

Thoroughly Surprising Quality. Upon seeing this app, I made the mistake of judging it based on other cheap apps from years' past. However, I was quite taken aback when my children and I began using it. The different 'lines' as well as the entire of character of Santa is quite spot on. He was very realistic and connected very well with my kids. At times, I even began to question whether or not we were actually live speaking with the man himself. I highly recommend this app as it caused my children instant glee (luckily, we didn't need to use the 'naughty' option; we did use it in my husband, though. Quite a good laugh for everyone!). I do hope this app gets the recognition it deserves this holiday season and for holiday seasons to come. Happy Holidays!!!!

AMAZING APP FOR KIDS!!!!. My son and daughter are in love with this app!!! Seeing Santa on video made all the difference -- I tried a different app that's a regular phone call with Santa first... my little ones were just confused by what they were listening to. But once I tried this app and they saw that red suit and white beard, we were in business!!! So cute for when they're being nice... a LIFESAVER when they're being bad! Unbelievable!. We have a 3 year old and he's getting excited about Christmas. Like a normal three year old, he has his naughty moments. If we say we're calling Santa because he's being naughty, this child goes berserk and begs us not to call him. I've never seen anything like it. We just got the 4s recently and do FaceTime often with grandma and grandpa, so the video call to Santa looks natural to him. He's gotten to the point of asking Santa questions if he's been nice. He asked him if he really has reindeer tonight. Thankfully Santa had just "hung up" when he asked it.

Very cute!. I suppose some people have had issues but it installed and works perfectly on my 3G. As far as the complaints, tapping the screen can be done discreetly enough so a younger child doesn't notice. The black screen after a tap is a little distracting but isn't a huge deal. Also, if you don't make calls every day then your child wont start to notice the same lines being said. Use it for very special, or naughty, situations.

Great App, Totally Worked!. This app is perfect ... we've been using an Elf on a Shelf to try and convince our 4 year old that Santa is keeping track of him. Now that he's seen Santa on my iPhone, he totally believes it! He uses my iPhone for games all the time, so he thinks everything on there is real, this totally has him going. Great job!

Best App Ever!!!. My nieces went gaga crazy for this app. So creative and simple to use. After finishing the call, this was all she could talk about for the rest of the day, then I had to help all of her friends parents find the app and download it, definitely worth the money just for the smile on your little ones face!

Great Quality Santa Chat. I didn't know what to expect but I heard about this app and got it because my niece wanted to talk to Santa. I was really pleased with the functionality and that you can talk and Santa will respond in real time if you tap the screen. It was very realistic and it totally made my niece's night!

Calls to Santa. My son loves this app. I tell him if he's not listening that I'm going to call Santa and tell him he isn't listening and being bad, so then he starts doing the things I ask. He is also able to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas as well. It really makes my son happy to see Santa as he talks to him. This is a fantastic idea for young children.

Wonderful Santa App!. It works fantastic. We have used all three features with my four year old grandson. The naughty feature is a great incentive for your child. I just wished we had this App when our kids were little.

Holiday fun!. Great app for kids during the holiday season. Gets the kids in the holiday spirit. I love it!!

Rough transitions. First off this is a great idea. And for very young children this App will help bring the spirit of santa a live.!!!! But for seven-year-olds there's a rough transition between the videos when you press on the screen which loses the illusion a little bit so "parents turn the screen to you click the screen so your children don't see the rough transition." Still a very nice app

Love this. This has to be one of the best buys I've made in the app store this year. My 4 year old loves it and adores chatting with Santa. It's helpful too when she is being naughty because all I have to say is "We are going to call Santa and let him know you aren't being very nice" and she starts being a sweetie once again! Lol, the first time we used this app, I accidentally clicked on naughty. Needless to say, she didn't like that call ;) I highly recommend this to any parent with a child who still believes in Santa Claus and the price is great!

Straight up Joy. Honestly, one of the best apps I've downloaded for Christmas for kids. I love how it helps bridge the gap for time honored traditions with modern technology. PARENTS: test it out and time your responses to maximize your children's enjoyment in this experience. I was skeptical at first, but after playing with it and seeing the excitement and joy in my kids faces I can say that this is one tool I would gladly pay way more for. I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel like this should be on every parents phone.

Fun cute app for the holidays!. Fun for the kids and I have to admit, I have fun using it too! ;) feels like you're actually face timing with santa, and gives you a chance to talk back to him. A good way to teach the kids a quick 'being nice' lesson if they've been naughty too! Santa will encourage them to get off the naughty list by being nice to others as often as possible. Highly recommended, too cute!

So Funny to Watch Kids Reaction!!. Awesome idea, my 4 yr old and 3 yr old twins were ripping and tunning around house so rowdy and time out nor the switch phased them. i whipped out my phone and it took about 5 seconds before they stopped cold and about 5 more seconds for the 2 boys to sprint to their bedroom and would not come back out until the next morning!!! its does need a little polishing during the transitions and the extreme northern accent is a bit hard for us southerners to understand.

Found sound problem on iPhone-turn vibrate switch off. I purchased this and thought the sound wasn't working like everyone else said. But I happened to turn the vibrate off today and the sound works fine. So happy to resolve this issue and my 3 year old is loving this app. There is a big pause between the questions but she doesn't seem bothered by it.

Clever but warning…. The idea behind this app is cute, but be careful. It was the difference between my 8 year old still believing & not believing in Santa anymore.

what Junk fromn this company. Just bought this app i agree with the last i hit a call it goes black for 2 seconds and then back to the call screen i was ripped off just the normal thing around xmas everyonecashing in to just make money.

Fun For Kids and Parents!. My kids LOVE to call Santa to tell him what they want for Xmas or even to just talk about their day. It's a lifesaver. My wife is talking about using it year round.

It works - make sure phone isn't on silence/vibrate. I bought this app and gave it a bad rating because there was no sound - once I took my phone off silence/vibrate it worked perfectly.

Great App - Highly Recommend. This app is great. My 4 year old son loves to call Santa and tells him everything he wants. I think $0.99 is a fair price and a great way for kids to follow up with their letters to Santa. I highly recommend it.

It's not as good as they say.... The app isn't bad. It held my child's attention for about 10minutes before they caught on its fake because you have to tap the screen to encourage santas next reply. They were happy to see santa...but disappointed they could tell it was fake so fast. Bit of a waste of $2.99, there are better free versions available.

So sweet. I love the tap prompts to move to the next part of the conversation and also like the three options. How great is it to be able to leave Santa a 'voice mail'?! And best of all I can record and save the memories of the kids talking to Santa. So sweet!!

Could be better. I really like this application but there are a few things I wish it could do. I would like it to actually say the name of our kids, or have more features others then just three type of calls. Nice, Naughty, or voicemail. If they could add more to this app it would definitely make this the best Santa app there is.

Love it w/ a suggestion. After you tap it to advance Santa if it could fade to the next video sequance without going black. That really kills the illusion. Thank you. It's really cute and works on my 4 year old son. Thank you.

Poorly executed - don't waste your money. The pause between questions is too long and the fade in/out takes away from the overall effect. Tapping the screen to move to the next frame is awkward and kills the illusion. This app works more like a video slide show than a real call with Santa. Until this app is redeveloped, don't waste your money.

Effective for Young Tikes!. You can probably get a year out of this app before your children catch on -- two years if your children are younger.

Sketchy and obviously fake. My name is nick, i bought this to do something nice for my sister who still believes in Santa. But I didn't realize it was a sham! This app is a scam. First of all, it needs to be updated severely. This app looks like IOS 5 and is extremely choppy. A 2 year old could tell this is fake. And, this app supposedly FaceTimes the kid, but it should be free because it looks like a 5 year old made it! I still can't believe I payed $2 for this!
