Truly great app!. Been using it for years and use it all the time. I can sign a lease with a tenant and leave the property with everybody having an email copy before I get back in the car. The auto feature is fantastic and I’ve used it to quickly scan 30 page documents that are more email friendly size-wise than what I had gotten from a traditional scanner, and no paper jams to deal with. Need to send a contractor a series of pics? A single pdf file is way better and more manageable. I’ve made contractors use it to send invoices to me and they like it because they actually get invoices to me faster and in turn, they get paid faster. A pdf invoice is much more professional than a photo and less toner wasted when I do print them. Anyone I’ve turned on to this app has thanked me for it!

Outstanding Scanner. TurboScan has been an excellent tool for me. It is very good for copying photographs - with easy cropping. Also very good for copying documents - single AND multi page. I’ve copied my driver’s license, vaccination records, investment information, proof of auto insurance and vehicle registration, vehicle repair and maintenance records, health insurance information, business cards of healthcare personnel, receipts of major household purchases and major tool purchases, favorite quotes, credit card contact information, magazine subscription records, - and many miscellaneous other things I want to keep and / or share. Easy to set up files for each subject and easy look-up tool. Easy to email or message. I use it daily to look up info or share an article or add info to an existing file. DP

Look no further. I haven't tried any other scan apps because I haven't needed to. This one is excellent. I work on the road for a small charter airline and need to get documents to HQ taking pictures in less than ideal lighting conditions. Turbo Scan does a marvelous job w B&W or color. Easy interface. Never had crashing probs. Sometimes tells me I'm low on memory, but I ignore and have never had a problem. Highly recommend. Dec 2015 update. Still awesome. They just updated so the 3X taking scan (photo) is just one click now. Good job folks. Dec 2017 update. Sorry for the broken record, but still loving and using this app a lot. April 2018 update. Not just because I want these programmers to succeed, but also because I use the app all the time. It’s great. You won’t be disappointed.

Turbo Scan. This is the best scan app I have tried. It scans in black and white and color. It has improved from the last time I accessed it. The quality fax is a amazing. I have tried another app but I was not impressed. Find myself always using this. Don't get turned off if you take a picture of the document to be scanned and phone shadow is reflected on it. The end result will be flawless, if it is a black and white. Not sure what will happen if it is in color. I give it five stars because it is worth to have. You scan and email right from the app. How awesome is that. They also offer a fax app that has a cover sheet. You have to pay to fax. I have not used it but I have it on my phone if the need arise. Please try...highly recommended.

Excellent App. [2021 Updated Review]: Still my favorite app for productivity but the latest updates and a new iPhone have made this app even better! The ‘auto’ feature works really well and made the 3x scan worth it more often. Other little details have improved and I appreciate that they have continued to make this great app even better. I’ve been using this app for over 5 years. As a college student it helped me make up missed notes, copy ppt slides, and saved me the cost of a few of those ‘buy my $300 book for this class and we’ll use it twice before you resell it for $10’ deals. In the workplace, this app was even more valuable. Especially when I was working in the field, I could quickly create a clean-looking pdf scan, email it to billing, and by doing so back it up in the cloud. A minute while parked at the job site on this app and I’d leave a job site with my part of the deal done and backed up. NO MORE LOST INVOICES!! Definitely a five star app. It is among my most valued apps, if under-appreciated. It’s one of the only apps I have that I’m a bit sad that it took me (probably over) five years to write this rave review.

Great app, smooth, practical, user-friendly, hand-held scanner and filing. Saves lots of time and certainly beats using a scanner. The most useful feature: you can create multi-page documents and add pages to a previously scanned document. If you need to present trip receipts, for instance, you can scan each of them on the go and at the end of your trip have just one neat file with all of them scanned in time order! It's the non-desktop utility that I use the most! You can organize yr files in folders (receipts, IDs, health certificates) and easily send any of them by email or other app in different formats (pdf, jpg, etc.). It gas saved me on several trips when I needed to present copy of documents or remember their numbers and dates.

The best!. Been using this for free for a couple of years now and it’s the easiest, simplest, most accurate, dependable, reliable, & useful scanner I’ve ever used. I can print from it wirelessly, can copy and transfer the files to an email, social media acct,etc. I can edit the image, color, clearness,& size of documents. I can take or pull- out any documents from my photo library, word files, files from other apps , etc., scan them and convert them to pdf or jpeg format when shared to others. All of its features are useful and significant in a day to day management of documents. My very first documents downloaded are still saved hoping that it won’t get lost and that there will be no limitations on the size or number of files you can only save. Get it!!

Very Few Apps I Love. There are very few apps that I truest love. Most apps now days want you to “subscribe”.. NO, I absolutely hate that. I will pay u once, if I want to update, I’ll pay an update fee, but I am digressing. This app is truly great!!!! I like taking pics of documents to file and remember things, problem with that, you are also taking a picture of the background. This app recognizes the paper size and auto takes a cutout picture of just that. AWESOME program. Please, stick to non subscription business model, or at least have a lifetime option for further programs. I do have one suggestion, I recently started taking pics of business cards. Your program really has a hard time auto recognizing the size to cut out. I even put the business cards on a while background and it still couldn’t auto cut. Maybe, you could have an option to tell the program what paper size at the time u are taking the pic? Or if the problem is just with business cards, have a toggle switch, letting the program know this is a business card? Regardless, minor issue. Keep up the fantastic programming!!!

This scanner is best. I have used Turbo Scan now for several years - it is great. I use it to scan large blue prints 22" x 34" and can then email it or print on smaller paper. This app lets you "frame" or crop in order to pick segments of a document/picture. Other scanners are not user friendly for scanning large prints or even a "white board" and then print on letter size paper. Don't waste time and money on other apps ( I have tried several others and they can't compare to this one). A previous update removed the ability to scan a "white board" from a distance with clarity. Current scanned image is very small and framing is difficult and then making the image larger is not clear. Previously I could zoom in on distant white board, then frame - image was very good. Would like to see this as an option. Currently I am using an iPhone 6+. I still rate this app as a 5 star. Update review 6/6/17 I asked for the return of the "zoom in" feature and the technical department responded. It helps with whiteboard scans or large sized drawings that would be difficult or impossible to get a good scan. If rating scale went higher than 5 it would see a 10 from me. The other updates that were made has truly made this the best scanner on the market. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. Thanks Turboscan for making the best scanner app even better.

Four stars—almost five, but not quite. I do really like this app and I use it often. The problem is that sometimes, it just decides it won’t copy the entire document for me. I will have a document with columns, and sometimes, inexplicably, the app will totally refuse to copy all the columns of an 8 1/2x 11 document. It will only copy two or three columns. Sometimes it will work if I first photograph the document and then try to scan the photograph in to the app. Other times, the app still won’t scan the entire document, only a few rows. Then again, another day, it will scan the entire document that it refused to entirely scan the day before. Puzzling and aggravating, since I had started depending on this app for my scanning needs. Other than that, it’s a very good app. I wish the app creators would fix this. I’d like to be able to “stretch” the area of scan, and sometimes I can, and sometimes, I can’t. “It’s a puzzlement!”

Tried all: this is the best. Update: Still the best. I’ve been using this for years and it is flawless. Sometimes I need OCR and go elsewhere, but TurboScan is so much better for every other use that this is my go-to. I’m currently trying to find a free scanner than my students can use while distance learning, so I’m going back through the list of “best scanners” and trying them all out again. Nothing compares. You’d be amazed at how many scanners don’t allow you to save or export an image file. This is the best. 2016? I am a scanning nerd. I have tried all the top-rated scanning apps (stupidly, paid for them all). I also have a hand-held DoxieGo. This is the phone app. I use it to take photo notes of whiteboards to save class notes, and to take easily readable scans of books. My students are amazed at the difference between my take-away notes (turbo scan) and theirs (camera). Excellent as-is. Never change.

Love it. I’ve been using this as my primary scanner for years and I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it until now. The framing and focus is remarkably reliable compared to other scanner apps and I find the interface very intuitive. I stay organized with a couple of key notebook and file storage apps that have their own integrated scanners that work pretty well but I still find myself using TurboScan for plenty of documents that the others seem to struggle with for whatever reason. It stores and exports documents great on its own, it allows you to export in a variety of formats easily, and is just a really easy way to augment the abilities of your other productivity apps. I only spent a few dollars on it and it’s been a great go-to for years now - easily the best money I will ever spend in the App Store

Almost Perfect But No Password Protection. This is absolutely one of my favorite apps. Everything it does it does virtually flawlessly. Imaging is fantastic. Adding pages is a breeze. Copying to iCloud goes without a hitch. But it has one major fail and that is NO password protection for emailed documents. With identity theft rampant, you would think this feature would be an obvious one, but no. The only solution I can find is copy your jpeg to iCloud, open it with Preview on your Mac, and assign a password, and email it from your desktop, which completely negates one of TurboScan’s most convenient features. Password protection has been sorely overdue for years now. Until then, I can only give this near perfect app only three stars.

Excellent App. I am a real estate agent here in Tennessee and purchased this app 5 years ago for $1.99 and it has worked flawlessly ever since the purchase! Sometimes I'm in a customers home our out In the field and don't have access to a printer so I scan and email the docs straight from my phone as to comply with State Law in regards to providing my client with copies of what they signed immediately! The company keeps the app up to date and that's important with the ever changing technology market. This is an app that I have found myself relying on more and more everyday because I know it's always there and reliable and up to date! Gives you the option of sending your documents via text email or what ever else you may want! Excellent app!

Excellent app.. I am pleased with TurboScan. I have scanned numerous parts manuals that are actually very thick. I keep all of my receipts handy with this app. I also use it to scan documents that had to be filled out and signed and then emailed to whom ever. I have only had an issue one time in the passed, and that was while I was in the middle of scanning in a rather large manual I was just ejected off of the app for what ever unknown reason and all my progress was just gone leaving me to start over. This happened maybe 3 times then I gave up. I will say that I have no had this issue since. Perhaps it was a bug that popped up after a lengthy Time using the app that has now been resolved. I also use TurboFax as well and couldn’t be happier with both applications!

My multitasking must have. I’ve been using TurboScan for at least 5 years now. I had gotten the app for one single use. I figured I’d delete it when I was done using it that one time. Clearly I never did delete it. I was always using it! We’ve been through some pretty amazing times together. Updates, changes, bug squashing, you name it we’ve been through it. Seamlessly might I add. Never a glitch, hiccup or crash. Every time I whip out my phone and use it for one of its many uses; people are in AWE. Literally! Being my 49 year old self this of course makes me look pretty cool and definitely more techie than I really am. It’s an amazing multitasking app! You too can look cool and techie with TurboScan (that’s my line; don’t steal it)!! Techie with TurboScan is also mine. Don’t. Just don’t. LOL! Yes, I most definitely recommend this app :D

Convenient and easy to use. I have used Turbo Scan for a number of years. I find it to be very convenient and easy to use. I like the built in security feature as most documents I am scanning are records that need an extra layer of security. This has become my go to app for keeping up with documents for managing estate transition and documents I occasionally need to print, but I do not want to store in a regular document file. This app flattens the document and allows one to square off old documents easily including photos. It scans clearly in both black and white and color. When a copy must be shared with others it offers multiple ways to send the document or photo that you have scanned. I’m sure there are newer applications that might be used but Turbo Scan has become my “go-to” app for scanning important docs.

Super easy and intuitive. This app (paid pro app) does what it is supposed to do and does it very well. The scanner function allows you to resize the scan area of a photo if the app does not pick up the entire scan area (although with a flat sheet of paper on a dark background it does a great job), the scan quality is very good on medium settings, and the app will save the pdf to your phone or you can immediately email as a pdf straight from the app— you can also draft the body and subject line of the email straight from the app. This is a super handy “fire and forget” scan app when you need to send a couple or three pages (you can combine photos in a single pdf) quickly without having to scan through a separate scanner/printer to a hard drive. This app is my first option for scanning a couple docs and getting them out the door. Well worth the pro price. Kudos.

Used for years. Incredibly valuable.. I just realized today when the application asked if I wanted to leave a review or not, HOW MUCH IVE USED THIS over the past few years. It’s been incredibly valuable for when people need a hand written signature in a form to be emailed. I’ve used this application for sending notes to people, to heavy hitting things like signed contracts for buying vehicles and other major events. At my old job, I had the only “real” scanner in the building next to my desk (was used to scan artwork into graphic design software as I was working at a print shop) and people would come all the time to use it. I’d always ask “you just need 2 forms scanned? You could just be using turbo scan.” And almost like a cheesy commercial script they would ask me what it was. Once I show them the app and explain the paid version is super cheap and very worth it, the number of people that would come to my office for scans dropped dramatically. Absolutely love this essential application. It should come with the phone.

Excellent quality. I can't believe all the details that this app pulls from even the wort customer copies I get on pink and yellow backgrounds. I've used the pro version for about 2 years now. My fax/copy/scan dedicated machine died (10yrs old) and all the newer one isn't as user friendly. I've taken more to just using my camera or ipad to scan now. I've got it configured to go right to icloud. I like that I can lighten or darken from the app and I can email, text or save in app, on device and in cloud. Remaining and duplicating is simple. Last month, I needed an image on my phone converted to a pdf format to email to someone and this app did just that!! Sweet! No hiccups. Just works and devs keep adding features and updating for compatibility.

I love it so much I've gifted it twice!. This is one of the few apps I consider to be "indispensable". I love it so much I have actually "gifted" it on two different occasions to two different people who insisted that they could simply take photos of documents and mail me those photos, but after we struggled with the bad quality of their photos and trying to adjust those photos, I just gave up fighting and sent them a copy of the app myself. Now they've each fallen in love with this app as well and have also become very vocal supporters. To all you people not using this app and still using regular photos instead, stop wasting your time and everyone else's time – skip a single latte and buy this app and trust me, you will be much happier!

Deeba. I love this app! I use it several times a day. (Tip: For products you buy, that you’ll probably want more of... take a picture of the package, using TurboScan. Then label it with searchable tags. Do the same with the instructions for your smoke detectors, and other important instruction books. Scan them, label them with searchable tags, and you’ll always be able to find those instructions.) There is one thing I’d like to request of TurboScan. Please get TurboScan working properly with Apple’s iCloud! The other great apps that I use to organize my life, (Clear, and Notability) share their data across all my devices! They do this, using the Apple iCloud. There has been no need to get another app (like "Documents", or some other thing) in order to have all my info in those, show up on all my devices. Everything in "Clear", and "Notability" just shows up... I didn’t have to do a thing to make that happen!! Why doesn’t TurboScan do that??? !!!

Can’t organize scans into folders. Can’t use OneDrive.. Really thought this app would be impressive given all the strong ratings. However, I was surprised to learn that there is absolutely no way to organize scanned items. It looks like everything just gets dumped into one big folder. Strange that a document scanning tool offers nothing in the way of document management. I want to keep business receipts, personal receipts, legal documents and other information all in one place but without a way to add some kind of taxonomy, this would quickly become a painful proposition. Also, I would like to be able to upload scanned items to OneDrive. Why only iCloud backup? Seems like a bit of a constraint. Not everyone likes to keep their data in iCloud. Hoping I can get a refund because I wouldn’t even use this app if it were free. Too many other, better, more flexible, better designed scanning applications out there.

Best app idea ever!. I have been using this app since its start and it has always been my go to application for keeping track of whiteboards, napkin doodles, business cards, papers, documentation. Anything you have on paper that you want digital this is the perfect app for all your needs. It cleans up all shadows, old discolored "white"-boards and gives it a beautiful copy in digital form. It also can be used for grabbing recipes, articles you want to keep from magazines, or even the mound of scrap papers shoved in wallets and I would guess purses. Love it and it has been a consistent and solid performing app. FYI there is *NO* OCR or Business Card to address book integration. That is not its purpose. If you need these features I would look to Microsoft OneNote as it scrapes images for text. The mobile version of OneNote, the last time I used it, was horrible.

Fantastic product!! Un beatable price!. Highly recommended. Easy to use. Updates periodically which means u won’t waste your money with an app whose developer decides not to update when there is a iOS update and render the app useless. This app is reliable and priceless!!!! Perform as advertised, well even better! As I'm doing taxes I can not believe how reliable, fast, easy to use, and high storage capacity this app is!! An absolute must have for anyone !! From scanning a love note from your child to a expense report check - or an article while browsing a magazine - anything. Very useful and affordable !! Can't say enough good things about this! As this makes my life so simple but yet so rich as I keep memories that otherwise will be simple gone!!

Greatest app you thought you’d hardly use. Wrong, you will use this app more often than you can imagine. It’s a one-time charge and you have the highest quality scanner you could own. Best of all, it’s with you all of the time. I have owned scanners/printers that take up room, need ink replacement, and must be replaced frequently, and I must have access to it at the time I need it. With TurboScan, it’s there when I need it. I have just installed the TurboFax Pro, as I am occasionally needing to fax an item as opposed to emailing it, as some businesses do not allow access to their computers via outside emails. I’ve always had to leave home, either drive to bank (free faxing), or to a postal annex type place and pay per sheet (usually costing $1.00 per page). The thing is, I’ve now had to take the time to drive somewhere, go inside a business, and pay someone more money to fax something I could have done from home, for less time and less money. I can’t wait to try it out! P.S. I do not write reviews, but when I found the TurboFax app today, I felt I had to rate and review the company that makes these two app. Outstanding!!!!!

good - no longer great.. Update: not sure what happened to auto mode scanning. I used to rave about how wonderful it was but recently can’t seem to pick up anything whereas before felt like it was magic. I haven’t changed how I use it so not sure if the software was tweaked. Original Review As a busy physician use it ALL the time for forms people ask me to fill on paper only to then send via email. Saves me time trying to find a scanner - our hospital has a bunch of great copiers/scanners/fax but to enter a name, change quality, etc. is a pain in those bigger devices. Can keep great color quality or make it look like a real photocopy. Love the way you can adjust settings after scanning and love that it uploads to email, Dropbox and that it auto-frames the document or lets you easily change the frame yourself. An app designed by people who use apps, not by people who subconsciously hate people who use apps. Thanks!

Scan any size document!. From the first day I scanned an oversized landscape design and emailed it to my professor, I have used and loved this app! Did you spend three hours compiling all of the medical and other paperwork for your little darling to go to overnight camp, (with an organization that still insists you print out everything and hand fill out forms!), then dutifully emailed it according to all of the directions, drive five hours to drop her off, only to find out that “something” went wrong on their end, and they don’t have any of your paperwork? No worries! You’re the smart mom who expects someone else to drop the ball; you always scan all important documents, email them and retain them in the app. So, with three clicks, you have resent them to the camp counselor, and your child is already running toward the first activity. *smug high five with your stunned spouse*

Very handy for teachers. I use this to upload documents to Dropbox or Google Drive for my students to download: handwritten notes from a student, chalkboard images, graded assignments, etc. It is fast and accurate and easy to use with enough options to be useful but not overwhelming. Since I got it for classroom use I've started finding more and more uses for it at work and at home. So much more useful than just taking a camera image, and so much more convenient than a scanner/printer, and it's the only thing that can easily grab my chalkboards and turn them into documents. Thanks for this app, I have been recommending it to my students and to friends and family. Edit: continues to be updated with new features and usability improvements. Highly recommended.

UPDATED Scanning since 2014!!!! - just get it!. I forgot I reviewed TurboScan and love it enough to start another! Don’t bother with the building notepad scanning. Not worth it This is my original review: I started this review because I scrolled back in all of my standard documents looking for something and realize that I’ve been using the products since June 2014. It is by far the best way I have ever seen for quickly photographing scanning and sending documents any number of ways. A great app does exactly what it supposed to do when it says it’s going to do it. Turboscan does that and more. It corrects camera shake, straightens documents, allows for manual override, and many other things. Just get it!

One improvement needed. Another suggested.. Well, I like the app a lot. Use it every day. Definitely recommend it. Best in AppStore, and I’ve tested many. The improvement I’m missing is quite simple: 1) after you frame the document, you should be prompted DIRECTLY to name it. Could be by default or by have that feature in the menu. For example. I finish framing, I go to next screen to export it. The document has the document+date as it’s name. But I have to click to edit, then edit the name, then back to export. Skip that and after the framing ask the user to name the document. You can still maintain the default name, but it needs to be “selected” in a way that when the user types, the text disappears. If he wants to keep default, he/she’ll only need to click on “done”. I hate have to click to edit the name every time and then get back. Not intuitive. This would make things lot easier. Again, not all people may agree with this feature, so having a toggle to activate it would be cool.

Best Scanner. This App is amazing. It Keeps getting better, they add value often. I've had this App for a few years, and haven't used an actual Desktop Scanner since getting this. You can merge multiple pages into one pdf or jpeg and email right from within the App. It saves all previous scans too, in case you want to go back and find old scans. Highly recommended. With iOS 11 and a built in scanner app that lets you use Apple Pencil immediately after scanning to sign documents and email back, they need to add this functionality fast. I love this app but ease of use is always the better option, and i will use this app less and less and start knocking off stars.

Great fit for work application. This app works like you would want it to, I work in an industry where measurements are taken in the field , and then transferred to shop layouts/cut sheets. I live 45 minutes away from our shop so not only does the app save time, it also saves money by allowing me to send in quality cut sheets from anywhere, and saving me the time from having to drive to our shop everyday. I don't have a fax machine at home. I use pdf to send them, and my boss simply opens the pdf file sent to his email, prints the cut sheet, and within minutes our shop is fabricating the work. What used to take a minimum of 24 hrs, now takes minutes, and every scan can be saved to the cloud or other devices, so instead of carrying physical paper cut sheets around until the jobs are completed, it's all on my phone if an installer has a question, I simply open the file for reference. If there is anything negative that I would be forced to say, it's make sure you clean your camera lens, which is user based not the app. And hold your device as still as possible to get the best scans. Great app, and a huge help in my profession.

Powerful business tool!!. This is one of the most useful apps of all time. If you are in business, you must have this app. When you are dealing with lots of documents on a daily basis, like I am, you can quickly use the app to photograph the document. The app then adjusts the edges of the document and makes you a nice, clean PDF of the document. You do not have to carry papers around, nor worry about losing paperwork. You have your whole set of documents in your pocket at all times. Also, you can easily email, text, etc a single page, multiple pages or the entire set of documents in a file quickly. You can even scribble notes on a napkin, take a photograph of the napkin and have a PDF document of your notes. I did that today. Still the best.. Have been using TurboScan for about 8 years now. My best TurboScan story: I was asked to go to court to pull and copy some legal documents (70 pages)! The local copier was down at the court and the client was desperate. I launched TurboScan and was able to scan and email all 70 pages - and this was on my old iPhone 4s. I was a bonded courier for a while and could easily supply proof-of-delivery signatures while still at the delivery point without needing a separate device to record the signature. Still use TurboScan years later to scan everything. Like the framing ability, shade adjustment and direct-to-pdf functions. The interface is just right. Not too busy, but every function can be gotten to quickly. If you need to record things on the go, get this app!

It's not just a picture. Great app but every time I use it in front of someone they think I'm just taking a picture. It corrects the lighting and throws some kind of filters on it to turn documents into crisp black and white pictures ready to email. It's so much quicker than shlubbing to the scanner. And of course awesome when you're somewhere other than the office. Try it and you'll find yourself using it all the time. My only small issue with the program is that if I am listening to music or an audiobook the app will turn the sound down to a very low volume. Seems kind of odd that it even has anything to do with the volume control. It would be nice if this was fixed.

A great piece of software. I rarely write reviews so please take this seriously. This is an excellent piece of software that works and has a lot of organization features, I have had it for many years. As long as they keep up the quality and it continues to work consistently without issue then it’s seriously hard to beat. I have the paid version and use this app almost daily. I also like that the data stays on the phone and not on a server elsewhere because sometimes you have sensitive documents, security matters. It’s so nice when you can send the scanned documents in so many formats and methods. So as for now, I will continue to recommend this app to everyone. Devs please continue your hard work to support the customer and not take advantage of them, thanks for all your hard work.

Outstanding APP. If you don’t have it you should unequivocally have this on your phone. I don’t remember how much it was but it is so useful and handy in those few times you need that it is indispensable. I’ve had it about six months and used it about 12 times and it sure beats running to Staples or some other place you can’t find forget about the fact that it’s free and immediate once you pay for the app. So easy to use. I just scanned a plot plan and sent it to my engineer. The plan was rolled upWrinkled mess and I did the three times scan and it came out as good as anyone could imagine – and imagine that! It came from my iPhone and was sent to him immediately. Download it now you won’t be disappointed.

Fast, Simple, Easy to Use... Best App For Scanning !. While traveling for business I need to quickly scan and log my daily expense receipts the moment I get them. Whether it be a physical paper receipt or an emailed copy. Three reasons why Turbo Scan is Golden to me: 1. I can quickly pull my phone out at the point of sale and scan new receipts the moment they are printed. (That way I don't have to be constantly searching for tiny little slips of paper that are so easy to loose) 2. I can also import expense receipts that I receive via email (like car rental and hotel receipts, not always present when those are totaled) 3. Then most importantly when emailing my monthly report I just tap 'add attachment' , select Turbo Scan, scroll down to the appropriate scan log and attach it to my report. All from my phone. No more paper. No more desktop printer / scanner combo. It's important the scanning app works well within your phones OS so that you can easily import / export content to / from other apps and email, etc... and Turbo Scan does this well. That's why I give it FIVE stars ! It's made my life a whole lot easier ;-)

One of the Most Useful Apps I’ve Ever Used. This is an app that everyone should have on their phones! It has saved me from innumerable administrative headaches! Whether for personal or professional use, it has come in handy too many times to count. In the store and want to scan a product label? Want to capture a bulletin posted on the wall? Need to retain a sales contract in an easily searchable format? No worries, this app does it all! It also scans in several versions - simple black/white, color, photo, etc. And they’re easily printable via AirPrint or transmittable via email, directly from the app. It’s user friendly and has intuitive controls - this is obviously an app that was researched and perfected by the creator. I’ve found myself sifting through files in our file room, nowhere near one of our office scanners - no need because I can scan and email the documents right from the file room! You will not be disappointed by this exceptional app, and btw I find it to be far & away the best when I compared it to the few other scanning apps out there. Turboscan is the best! 6 stars!

Fantastic document scanner, I wish it helped me manage the documents just a bit better. TurboScan has made it so much faster and easier for me to capture documents. I can scan receipts, sign-in sheets, vendor’s licenses and certificates, all sorts of documents in the field or in my office. I no longer use my scanner because TurboScan gives me results in jpeg or pdf with such great ease. My scans are always clear, they crop correctly automatically almost every time, really fantastic scanner. Then I can send the files via iMessage or email with supreme ease. I only wish I could upload the documents directly to Dropbox. That feature would get a fifth star from me as it is the only possible complaint I can come up with for this otherwise faultless app. Full disclosure, I’ve been using this app for only about a month.

Suggestion. I love Turbo scan, I’ve been using it for years now. I am also using the turbo fax app. There are several other scanning apps out there, but I still like this one the best because it gives the option to save as a photo image so it gives me the most flexibility when saving things and using them in other apps (like apps that let you change PDFs). But I have a few suggestions. 1. Is there an option for auto scan? I’ve noticed that adobe scan has that option and it is extremely handy, especially for people with hand disabilities. I recently had joint replacement on both of my thumbs and I have the iPhone plus, which is challenging to hold even with two good thumbs, but impossible with no useful thumbs. So, it’s extremely challenging to hold the phone and hit the button to take the picture/scan. But in Adobe it does it automatically. So I’ve had to scan in Adobe and then save to TurboScan. 2. This is my major request. I have upwards of 175 documents that I’ve scanned in. Organization is my issue. I do save them to “my files” in iCloud. Or sometimes in Dropbox. Because I can make folders and albums etc. But I want to keep them in TurboScan as well. I need to be able to group my docs by subject. (My son’s stuff from school. My stuff for work. Etc) So, please consider adding albums and folders like is available with the iPhone files app or Dropbox etc. Thank you for listening. Best, Kristin

Where is the upload to Google drive option?. I used to be able to upload files from TurboScan into my Google Drive. The Google Drive upload option appears to be no longer available. This feature was one of the main reasons why I download it and purchased a TurboScan. Can you assist? Thank you very much for the reply to the above comment. Know that I am unable to see a Google Drive option after selecting open in/AirDrop. Google Drive used to show up as an option and now it does not. I’m not sure what to do. Thanks again. I reinstalled Google Drive on my phone. That did not work either.

5 years later still my favorite app. TurboScan is my essential Go-To app. I scan docs, receipts, pics, passports, meeting notes, shopping lists, then I email them to myself for easy search the titles have the year and subject. Or email them to someone else for their reference. Also when somebody sends me a document to sign I simply print the pdf file, sign the document file and scan the signed document back into a pdf to be emailed back to the sender. Scanner in my pocket. I can then dispose of the paper document because I can always find what I am looking for through Search. All this on my phone with a few seconds of app time. Love it. Resolutions are great. The new 3x capability is nice to have but 1x is so good I don’t find 3x necessary.

Lifesaver!!!. This app is amazing. I've used it for the past 8 years for both business and personal functions. I've used it scan receipts, sign contracts, distribute payroll documents, deliver reimbursement forms, send copies of passports, create pdf documents out of physical forms, send and receive faxes with its companion app, and even buy multiple houses long distance. I find myself using it more as an important document storage facility, one which lets me save time by always having the right form on me in business or government settings. It’s the last apps I would delete if I had to free up space on my phone, and has saved me hours of anguish from having to find big scanners or fax machines. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Fabulous😘 The very first day I got this I was in Staples store in Alexandria Va making copies, and a young foreign exchange college student was trying to fax about 25 pages of important documents to her college... It would have cost her over $25... She allowed me to assist😊 I used Turbo scan and emailed all her documents safely free of charge. I have used it even to fax important signature pages on contracts!! Best scanning app EVER!! Maybe even best app ever!! I use it daily.. I never never never write reviews but I just have to say you will not regret this purchase. I’m in sales and usually out in the field…have had this app for years and use it even when I have a regular scanner right next to me. Awesome quality, super fast, and allows me to scan any document and email it to myself as a PDF in less than 30 seconds. Also serves as a sort of “digital file cabinet” that you can search so no more needing to read something that’s hanging on the fridge or a bulletin board at home when I’m somewhere else 😳🤪 I hang the hard copy, scan a copy in here, and delete it when schedule comes out the next year.

Awesome. I’ve been using it A LOT for years.. Nobody understands how I get everything done from my iPhone. it scans everything from documents to screenshots from my computer screen with beautiful detail. No matter how much I want to try a different make of phone, I don’t want to lose hard working apps like this one. The only thing I don’t like with the version I have is that I have to email PDFs to myself and file them so that I can retrieve and attach multiple docs to my email… wasn’t a problem before aging Apple finally, after decades, made it possible to attach more than one attachment to an email! But, it forces me to file things and have them backed up… but the ability to attach multiple documents from TurboScan …it’s not in my version. The coolest thing is that when I upgrade my iPhone, I still have my awesome TurboScan scanner… no desk space taken …up no equipment to replace other than the iPhone! Another really great thing is that I can quickly modify the borders of the document no matter what format I save it as. I just lay a document on a color contrasted surface so that it can set the borders automatically, hold the phone above the document and it automatically scans three times… no buttons to push like when you take a picture. kind of scary really.

What a great scanner !!. This is surely one of my most beloved apps. I am a professor and write out lecture notes for my classes at Carnegie Mellon University, then copy them with this app and distribute the copies to my class. This app is great. I've been using it for the above purpose for many years. The only (slight) improvement I would request would be an option to have the initial framing be a tiny bit larger, so it would include my notes at the very margins. Sometimes those get cut off and I have to manually enlarge the frame. No biggie, but it would be nice to have the option to request larger framing from the get go. In any case, this is an absolutely awesome app. 5 years later, still using it, still finding it one of my most beloved apps.

Great App! Developers are amazing!. I love this App and use it almost everyday. But it has become slower since the latest updates to iOS. It will work fine for the first few scans, but then the camera will begin to lag, or processing time becomes 3, 4, 5, times longer. When selecting multiple docs for a batch upload, the selections are laggy and scrolling is slow. I’ve tried restarting my phone, which helps again for the first couple scans but then begins to show the same problems. To the developers, PLEASE optimize it for the latest iOS and my 6S Plus. I would very much appreciate it! :) Thank you for releasing and update so quickly! I will be heavily using this app in a few days and would be very happy to have it operate quickly as it has been in the past. Thank you again for listening to your customers! 😀

A must have app. I scan driver licenses to A1 size plans with great results. Easy to use, crop and multi copy documents with a very simple pdf forwarding function.

BRS. Update now requires one more tap to send email to self once email is created. Screen has to be scrolled up before send icon appears....not good. Should have send to self single touch after scanning.

Love TurboScan. It’s so fast and convenient to scan documents and receipts with TurboScan and email them to myself, with the option of jpeg and PDF. I use it far more than I thought I would. So much cheaper than an expensive receipt scanner app. One fee and your done!!! They are clear and date stamp so you take a photo at the register, email it to yourself and pop in a receipt folder when you do your accounts... so easy!!! No more receipts cluttering my wallet and office!!!

TurboScan used frequently. I have been using this app for a long time now and including to scan commentary on tourist attractions where you often do not have the time to jot down the important info. My concern now is how to save the data on an USB rather than the cloud for long term use in family history matters/generational data before my iPhone dies and I lose everything even in the cloud.

Fantastic App!. I’ve been using TurboScan for a few years and it’s so useful for work and home admin. Haven’t required a bed scanner for ages as this scanner is completely sufficient for scanning legal docs and admin forms. Really rate this bit of kit highly- that’s why I thought I’d leave a review.

Brilliant for music scanning. This is one of the best apps I have ever bought. I mostly use it to scan sheet music which I then use in PiaScore (another brilliant app). I can then use my iPad Pro to store my music and use it for rehearsals, practice and concerts. It handles single page sheets right up to large books of studies with ease and the quality of the scans is better than any photocopier scan I have ever done. As long as the background contrasts with the colour of the paper the app automatically frames the paper, crops the scan, and corrects any skewing or other error in lining up the paper. I use either my iPhone or iPad mini to scan as they are easier to hold than the iPad Pro for scanning. Scan using iPhone (essentially take a photo). Send to iCloud. Drag into Piascore from iCloud on iPad Pro. Rename scan as necessary. Ready to go. Works brilliantly. Highly recommended. Thank you to the developers for making such a good app.

Powerful little app. Great, does exactly what you need it to do. The new updates seem to fix the problem I had with sending a full A4 page of a smaller image. This app is definitely worth the money.

So good for scanning on the run. This is the best way to keep track of receipts for work. They can simply be scanned and emailed from your phone. So much faster and more portable than traditional flat bed scanners.

Awesome, so handy!!. I use this app to photograph legal documents & court orders went out of the office and a photocopier is not handy/ broken. I scan them & email to myself and colleages in PDF. They save & print clearly, almost like any commercially scanned or photocopied a4 page (the same, if you adjust the frame correctly) The pdf can also be saved to dropbox directly from the iPhone saving hours of mucking around trying to move hard copies. This app saved my time and sanity frequently.

It's my portable photocopier.. So easy to use. Never had any problems with it. I use it to take photocopies of receipts. Then I send them to my email in PDF format in a couple of clicks. (For Tax time)

Turbo scan pro terrible.. I bought this an within ten minutes realised it had some serious problems... Deleted and reloaded it, but still terrible. Crashes every time you try to take high quality scans. Now to try and get my money back......

nice little scan tool. using it every day for multiple months now I do enjoy this tool with it's simple interface and ease of use. As we are in sales and we travel a lot in the country side this tool saves me from traveling with a scanner. I can send my paperwork from anyware now using the BW PDF mode. Great app, used daily. I use this app for time sheets, receipts, bank forms etc. Has the option of B&W, colour or photo. Auto save as PDF would be handy. Phone does not need to be directly over the document to scan, it will pick up and straighten your scan at odd angles, which is handy when you need more light or to avoid a shadow. Turboscan- great stuff! We use it daily. TurboScan works great it's extremely easy to use very fast the only thing I would like to see is an indexing tool, folders... great work! It Would be nice to be able to export to a desktop , cloud store ( drop box, one drive, stuff other than ICloud), etc. to organize & cleanup ! Needs an archive routine - I have hundreds of scans ! Works great. The news for around 12 to 13 years.. This is always a handy app I really like it the only downside is it doesn’t always sync from Apple device Apple device probably something in my settings, but it would be nice if it copied on my iPad and went across to my iPhone as well without having to check both systems.

One of my favourites. This app has gotten me through my entire engineering degree. All my assignments on paper went through this app to be uploaded and they produce amazing quality, nearly perfect system looking documents. The only thing is the detection scanner for your paper is a bit finicky sometimes but only usually in low light or scrunched up papers.

Great, easy to use software. I use this app every day to scan documents, checks, receipts etc. It works quite well, basically just like having a scanner in your phone. One thing I would like to see: a document type/size setting for checks! When I shoot them now, whether the camera is held landscape or portrait, if I’m saving it as a letter size document it always rotates the page layout to match the check (longest dimension to longest dimension). But that’s not what I want. I want the check to be displayed roughly to size, oriented so it’s upright, on a portrait letter page (long dimension to short dimension), when I’m shooting it that way. It doesn’t want to leave it alone. :)

My best work partner!. I used this app for so many years already! Especially when I was in graduate school, this APP helped me to be able to facilitate 2 college-level bands as their librarian for over 60 people’s sheet music! I also helped with unexpected emergency crisis (e.g. students forgot or lost their music in school or on the road!), because I can save all the music in my phone! Now, I simply enjoyed using it for day-to-day stuff, like scanning receipts/documents! Still loving it! I highly recommend this scanning app. Look no further, even if you’ve to pay a bit get this app!

One of the most useful apps. I’ve been using TurboScan for years now. I use it at least once a week. I’ve tried the various, newer, apps including the ones from Acrobat and Microsoft. I find TurboScan to work better for me. It’s fast, accurate and intuitive to use. It doesn’t try to force you into a proprietary storage solution—a major advantage to me. The corrective function seems to me to be the best of anything I have used. I find it more useful than a “function” built into another larger application. A purpose built screwdriver is better than a Swiss Army knife if all you want to do is tighten a screw.

Extremely useful. I have used Turboscan for years now. It has been a highly reliable and extremely effective tool for almost all my scanning/paper reduction needs. I applaud the developer and highly recommend the app. Paul hi have you scan the results is good enough for most purposes. This little app saves me a lot of time. Granted, for large projects with many pages, the desktop scanner is still my best option. But for scanning projects with only one page or just a few pages, this app is perfect. Well done.

Exceeded my expectations!!!!. I use this app mostly at work. I make PDFs of parent notes, tests, letters I receive from parents, notes from lessons for students who are absent--basically, anything and everything I want to keep a record of. I also use at home to make PDFs of anything that requires me to sign and return--forms, letters, applications, etc. I also scan any worksheets that I come across in my children's homework, which I think are useful for my students and email them as PDFs to my myself and colleagues to print and use. The quality of the documents I scan is excellent and it's so easy to email them as PDFs. I am impressed and I always recommend it to anyone needing a scanner. 5 stars and then some!!!

Fantastic app!. Long gone are the days where we had to have a dedicated scanner with crappy software to hook up to a computer in order to scan household documents when requested from outside agencies or for archival which was followed inconsistently anyway because it was too much trouble to set up. So easy to use TurboScan in the fly with great results even for 11” X 17” documents, Can email as PDFs immediately, totally flexible for rapid response items to get things done with no nagging back of your mind “when I get around to it” procrastination. Retain cars proof of insurance docs, download from insurer and email to others on your policy. Too many uses to mention.

Turbo scan.. This is the first app I bought, several years ago and a couple of phones ago. I use it all the time, for real estate documents to send quickly to title or another agent or for recipes and articles found in magazines in doctors’ offices. The program was shown to me by seat mate on an airplane when I just got my I-phone 4, and as a contractor he used it a lot. It has saved me hours and miles in my business and life in general. I’ve recommended TurboScan to hundreds of people. I use it several times a week, as I am often out of the office, lacking such machines found there. Iconoclast App. TurboScan belongs to an elite group of apps that are truly "Jobessian"(relentless in the pursuit of beauty through simplicity and efficiency.) TurboScan will do to traditional scanners what the iPod did for walkmans a few years ago: they will be completely replaced! The only disadvantage to a traditional scanners is the inability to scan multi-page docs. I solve this problem by arranging up to eight (8) pages together per scan and the quality of the picture still quite good. Plus with TurboScan gone is the "inbox" or paper tray: paper goes from scan to cloud and hard paper discarded ipso facto (while practicing a strong backup system.) Love you TurboScan!

App of Excellence ⭐️. My review is long overdue. This stellar scanning app deserves all five stars and an additional honorary star for being one of the most user-friendly, efficient, highly useful (actually necessary), super well-designed app for both business and personal use. My brother recommended this app to me and sure enough, his own rave review of this app was over-hyped NOT ONE BIT, imho. I started off with the free version years ago and don’t recall exactly why I needed to upgrade or what extra features I needed, but what I do recall is that I felt it was so worth paying for. Love this APP. Did something change in update?. I have used this app to scan and store documents for several years. It works great and is very user friendly too! I recently updated the app on my phone. Today My daughter tried to use it on her phone and her phone says “this app is no-longer shared with you”. We do have family sharing and she doesn’t remember if she bought it individually or got it thru family sharing. So she tried to purchase the app and it won’t allow her to buy it either. Any advice? She now has documents she cannot access.

Convenient and easy to use. This app is great and is extremely handy for small documents. It can store photos taken by the app or photos in your picture folder on your phone. Since you have to take a photo of each individual page, it isn’t always that great for larger documents like mortgages or other lengthy contracts. It has no problem storing the information, it’s just time consuming to take all the pictures. Update: this app gets better all the time. I’ve had it for years and it. is. awesome.

Beats a scanner any day!. When I upgraded my Imac to a new one, you would think that software would exist that would upgrade my scanner as well, right? Wrong! HP did have an upgrade, but it ran so slowly that the scanner was basically rendered useless. Then I discovered Turboscan. For a mere 5 bucks I can carry a high-resolution scanner with me anywhere! I tend lose hard copy, so I use it for everything important: important letters I receive, last months bill, paycheck stubs. Give them a name, and throw them into a folder on my Mac, easy to find by name, or even scanning visually. Would give it a higher rating but 5 stars is as high as it goes! Thank you, Turboscan!

Camp Fire. Our home burned in the camp fire in Northern California. With no computer it was difficult keeping up with the paperwork just using my phone. My son told me to get this app because I would be signing many insurance papers. I did and I don’t know what I would have done without it. We purchased a home 1800 miles from our home and this app allowed me to receive sign rescan and return so our home could be purchased with out us being physically present. Thank you so much for a wonderful easy to use application. It’s easy, accurate and keeps me organized.

Excellent Scanner. Been using for 3 year. I use this app for scanning documents, photos and receipts. The ability to change the type of copy you’d like to see (photo, xerox, black/white or color)after you’ve taken the photo/scan is amazing. You can also edit it and re-order multiple page documents. I love being able to take a photo of a photo and seamlessly add text pages in the same document. Perfect interface with all of my iPhone functions - email, text, photo album, files, etc. It’s perfect! And super inexpensive. One time purchase.

Turbo Scan. So very pleased with this TurboScan app. Easy to use. Documents, business cards, pictures or what ever I need it for. I have a couple of other scan apps and really need to offload them because I just don’t need them as long as I have Turbo Scan. This app works perfectly and I always know my scans will be right there to view. Every option is available for me to send by email, save as PDF or JPEG, airdrop, transfer or a wide variety of other options. Great app and well worth the download. You won’t be disappointed unless you just simply don’t know what you’re doing!!!

Best Thing Ever!!. I’ve been using this scanning app for probably 6-7 years. Everytime someone comes to my office wanting me to scan and email something for them, I tell them about this scanning app. There’s is no way I will never not have it. It’s easy to use, makes perfect PDF documents. You can turn anything to a jpeg and download as a pic just in case you need to add it to a software that only takes that format. Seriously this is the best app ever. You literally do not need a scanner. All you need is your phone and this app.

Addition of volume button for shutter is great! A useful addition would be to have auto straightening of text from a curved page. Thanks TurboScan! This is a fantastic app that I wish I used more. I have used it at the library instead of photocopying since having a PDF is more productive. My only minor gripe is that while the 3-picture scan produces a clear document (I almost never use the single pic option), it is somewhat awkward to have to push the shutter button on the screen 3 times while trying to hold the phone at the same distance and level with the page the whole time. It seems as though one press of the button for all 3 pics would be much more manageable, but it's likely you tested that feature and it wasn't as good.

Great scan app but…. This app scans documents exceptionally well. Naming documents, adding and removing pages is all very easy. My requests for the creators is to add another level to the file structure as the never ending scrolling is painful. I like to organize my projects and this current system leaves me with a never ending list of seperate files. I would also like better connectivity with cloud services. My iPhone and iPad apps are never in sync without long wait periods. This is an annoyance every time I’m trying to send emails in the field.

Best of the best. Been using for several years.. I normally don’t write reviews, but I can honestly tell you that Turbo Scan is my go to app for tracking expenses and scanning receipts back to my corporate office for items purchased and saving items for tax time. I love the ability to be able to change from photo quality to black-and-white to color-unbelievable scanning app been using since the first iteration of the iPhone. I don’t own any of the company I am not being paid anything from the company, (however I’d take a little bit of money if you want to give me some!) Just kidding. Nice job guys, keep up the good work with the app.

Used to love this app but now not as much. I use this app to Scan checks and receipts. I used to be able to easily move those items into dropbox but now I can’t. I don’t know what has happened with this app but it wants to send a message or share to other people in dropbox. I can no longer move anything into my dropbox accounts which is why I am only giving it 2 stars because it’s almost useless and seriously, I probably should only give it one star at this point. I am hoping that something will eventually change and I will be again able to move my scans into Dropbox.

Great tool. I’ve been using this app for several years. They’re constantly getting better. I’ve had to use this in many occasions out in the middle of no where and it is so nice to have! Works great and I recommend this app to anyone that scans anything. I work in the oilfield. I am on location days, weeks and at times months at a time. I have to fill out paperwork and email it quite a bit but I don't want a scanner in my truck or camper taking up space. This app really is a big help! Good quality scans and I can send the docs in PDF straight to my office.

Excellent App. I’ve been using this app for years and it’s really never disappointed. I’m on an older generation cell so I’m sure the app would further benefit from the improved cameras of the current generations. I’ve scanned all matter of documents, large and small, including architectural full-sized 24x36 sheets. I know there are comparable apps out there for less money, but for what I spent on this one, the value has been more than paid back. In a pinch, it def does the job with few almost non-existent glitches. Highly recommend it.

My most useful tool. A few months ago my property burned in the Camp Fire in Northern California. My home burned, but I made it out with my family, our truck, our horse, and the clothes on my back. I was left with my phone as my primary source of communication. A myriad of written communications and signed documents required from both government and insurance services we’re demanding. TurboScan made this process much easier. The quality of my TurboScan document was acceptable in every situation. I have enjoyed using TurboScan for several years, but I’ve appreciated the simplicity and quality more than ever over the last few months.

TurboScan is Amazing. I have been using TurboScan for at least 5 years both professionally and personally. It allows me to scan and email documents from wherever I am. I also use it to save copies of documents that I want to dispose of or if I send signed originals to someone. Scanning is so easy and the copies come out as clear as an actual scanner. TurboScan adjusts for paper size and color. I also use TurboFax for situations that require a fax instead of email. There’s a small fee for that but it so much easier than going somewhere to use a fax machine. Plus you have the copies saved electronically.

I must be wrong. Tried S/W on a multicolored page. Some background colors were darker than others and had a straight edge. The resulting scan only retrieved the areas containing text on a white surface and ignored the white text on a black surface. Also a horizontal series of color photos along the bottom edge were ignored. The scans were made in color mode. The attempts were made using a magazine that was on hand as a trial. Attempts to use multi-shots did not result in better readable results of the text. This was probably due to the movement of camera that souls occur if someone was hand holding the camera. Product is probably good for black on white . Just wonder about other situations. Fury the free version if it is available. Once you open an app it yours. Apple doesn't seem to believe in trial periods.

Mobile scanner For business people. I have recommended this Turbo scan app to no less than 20 people and I know at least three or four have purchased it. (Maybe more) When you need someone to send you one or two signature pages from a document and they take a picture of it with their phone and send you something that’s completely unusable, you just tell them to buy this app for five bucks Now you get an absolutely perfect PDF with a picture that is as clear as the camera on your phone. I want royalties for referring folks to purchase it. I use it every day. Best five bucks I’ve ever spent

Best App on my iphone!. I am a techy guy and have had an iPhone for over 15 years. Nothing can compare to this app for ease of use, functionality and usefulness! This is probably the most important filing cabinet on my iPhone and the ability to scan my prescriptions and important documents like my vaccine card and ID are fantastic. The ability to create PDFs and mail them to someone or to myself is the cherry on top of a beautiful Sundae. Thanks for creating this app and not charging a monthly or yearly subscription! One time fee seals the deal!

OK scanner. I read a fair number of older medical journal articles that were printed before everything became available electronically, many of which I want to incorporate into my library of journal articles. I purchased TurboScan to take to the library on my phone. It wasn't doing a very good job with flash control and contrast control, etc., and backup to the cloud seemed somewhat limited. I bought Scanner Pro. It takes a much better image from the get go. It has better contrast control. It has more flexible options for interfacing with OneDrive and other storage sites. I have Scanner Pro, TurboScan, Scanable, Office Lens. Scanner Pro is my favorite and the one I use most. I do like Office Lens for its white board ability.

Beautiful, invaluable app.. I’m in industrial sales and travel in my work and often need to scan documents, drawings, etc. of various sizes while in a customers facility. I stumbled on Turbo Scan in a magazine several years ago and have used it 5 to 10 times a week ever since. Have recommended it to several business associates who also swear by it. I prefer it to a flat bed scanner because of its portability (it’s always with me on my phone) and it’s ability to scan from magazines or stapled documents without disassembly. Plus its ease of sending documents to others from anywhere from my phone. Wouldn’t be without it.

Great app. It just ALWAYS works. I never review apps. This app is the real deal. I’ve had it for about six years, and it has worked beautifully ever since I first downloaded it. The app developers have added new features, always have kept it updated, and they have never tried to sunset the product to make you pay for another purchase like is common with many apps that get greedy. I’m honestly not sure I can name another app that just always works. Apple should just buy this app and make it part of iOS, it’s that good and necessary.

Folders?!? My wish has come true!!. I have absolutely loved this app since I first bought it in 2012. It was the first app I ever paid for but immediately felt it was so incredibly worth the small purchase price. I’ve recommended it to friends and even helped my technophobe boss see its many uses (she has been thrilled, and it made me look smarter!!). TurboScan 🌟💫. This app is one of the best I have ever used and that’s a long time considering I had every iPhone made from its infancy with Apple. Passed papers using TurboScan on two different houses without even a glitch; seamless and smoothly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When I can afford a TurboFax that will be the next purchase one day. This TurboScan App has saved me so much frustration of looking for important papers while away from home. It’s all on your cell phone/icloud will store data that you upload. Great tool. I use this scanner app to scan hand written reports in the field for work. I can then search for any past report in the field. I bought it about 2 or 3 years ago. I forget how much I paid for it but it is worth ten times as much. I have been telling everyone about it. It is logical and well thought out. Push one button and the scan will automatically be emailed to you. You can also start files with a collection of scans. I use a file to keep track of my monthly expenses or traveling expenses...no more paper receipts folded in my wallet! You will not be disappointed. It has some high def features that I don't use.

LOVE this app!!. I’ve been using TurboScan for several years now and absolutely love it! It is SO convenient to be able to scan items by taking a picture of them on my phone, instead of having to be at home, with an actual scanner, get on my computer, etc. I can scan a document anytime, anywhere with just a few clicks and immediately email or text them to whoever I need to. I’ve never had any problems with it and no complaints ever about an image not being clear enough, etc. Looks like it was scanned on an actual scanner every time. SO easy to use. Again, love this app and highly recommend it!

Does iOS 11 render this obsolete?. Tucked away in the native Notes app of iOS 11 is a document scanner. As a longtime TurboScan user and promoter, I was interested in doing a comparison of the two. Same document, same lighting conditions, same phone. The TurboScan produced pdf was infinitely superior to the Notes app produced version. It’s not even close. The quality of the TurboScan version is excellent. The iOS produced version was fair, if I’m being kind. Does the native app render TurboScan obsolete? Not in the least. Are you serious about scanning great quality PDFs and images with your phone? If yes, then you need TurboScan.

STILL the best. Been using Turboscan for years now. I was intrigued when I saw that Apple tried to enter the document scanning game by integrating native documenting scanning into one of the recent iOS releases, but I’m here to tell you it’s still complete garbage compared to Turboscan. Seriously I don’t know what I would do without it. It can scan ANYTHING and still looks just as good as a real scan with a scanner. It’s so easy to use there’s just no comparison. The way it removes background colors I even use it when I want to “clean” up a simple diagram drawing for printing so I don’t waste ink. Anyway I highly recommend this app and see myself using it in the foreseeable future.

Best app! I've been using it for 5 years and nothing can compare!. I use this app for everything. Making copies of deposits when I go to the bank, copies of legal documents to email out, copies of my son's homework so he doesn't have to do it again if he loses it. Just email it to the teacher and call it a day. Amazing app that has outstanding quality. One time I got a scanned copy of a legal document from the district attorney's office. You could barely read it. Luckily I had a turbo scan of the original. Everyone was asking for my copy of it because it was better. Simply terrific app!

Makes life better. I have bought and sold houses while traveling cross country using this APP. I use it at tax time. The basic functions are very user-friendly (wish the newer changes -- like how to upload/store info--came with better explanations so that I don't have to study it). Really, this is an incredibly helpful APP. Thank you for offering quality in an age where that's not always a given. 2021 update: all of the above is still true. 2022 update: still a secure, quality product that does what it says it does —how rare is that these days?

Turbo scan is the best do not change a thing. I love this app I’ve used it for a very long time. I haven’t done anything stupid like adding advertisements or trying to dress it up. It is a nuts and bolts PDF generator. You can use just about any file you can open on your phone and turn it into a PDF quickly. You can also use your camera to take a picture and turn it into a PDF. Can’t say enough how often I use this. I never write reviews or click on star ratings. This time I really needed it in a pinch it was there for me. Bravo Turbo scan

Life changing!. Fantastic easy way to send a high-quality image where I need it to go (emails, Google Classroom, etc.). Cropping takes only a second and the image quality is far better than our copy center scanners. My college student says it is indispensable because for her many projects absolutely everything needs to be uploaded to turn in to her professors and she can’t imagine not having this. It’s also great because we can go back and retrieve scans as well. I couldn’t be nearly as productive without this tool. Best few dollars I’ve ever invested to save time and aggravation!

Outstanding. I frequently need to grab a copy of a jazz chart for practice after a rehearsal. Since I can't take a part with me, I use my iPhone camera to snap a photo for printing later on. Problem is that I usually end up with a dark color shot that is hard to read. I have used TurboScan for a while now, and my only gripe is that if I need to scan multiple pages, while holding my trombone, it gets a bit tricky. It’s hard to hold my horn, and tap scan, then tap “done” on the top right, then “next”, the “+”, then scan another page. Can these all be in the same area on the screen, or toggled, like a soft-key?

Only missing one thing. I absolutely love this app and use it all the time as I am a travel nurse practitioner and have a lot of licenses and different documents to keep organized, but the ONE and only thing I believe this app is missing is a way to organize my documents into folders. This app never crashes, it never lags, it’s easy to use and always performs like I expect it to. Allowing me to organize my documents into folders would make it feel less messy and time consuming when I’m scrolling through things I have scanned to recall and use again.

I can't live without this app anymore. As the title states, this app has become an essential part of my job! I don't always have access to a scanner and this does the job nicely. Plus with some newer features like the password lock, I feel safer with my secure documents being on my phone without having to clear out my history due to HIPAA concerns. My only gripe is minor, namely that certain areas don't scan so well (large black spots for example) in the BW mode, it leaves a spotty white area inside the black. In all though would highly recommend this app to others especially if you deal with a lot of paperwork on a daily basis.

Solid and helpful for years. I’ve had this scanner for years, and it has been an absolute blessing! If I need a high-quality scanned document, like a contract or something, this fits the bill perfectly. I can scan it, name it, and then email it to myself and the other person immediately. I also use it all the time to take pictures of my receipts. I just name the store where I bought it, what I bought and how much I paid for it, and it automatically puts the date in. Any time I want to return a product, it is very easy to find. If I could only keep five apps on my phone, this would be one of them.

Scans great, backup is terrible. The scan quality is great. It’s easy and convenient. I would have expected that recovering accidentally lost items was easier (or in my case possible). Even a simple “undo” button or a “trash” folder that periodically empties itself that you can recover unintentionally deleted items would make it worth the $6 you spend on the app. They would defend themselves and say that they rely on iCloud, which is somewhat valid in the case of a full backup or historic recovery. They could fix this ONE thing and I would change my rating to 5 stars. As it is I lost a massively important document that I cannot recover (and don’t have a hard copy of any longer) because the Derek’s function is the most unforgiving thing I’ve ever seen in an app that deals with documents

TurboScan the new scanning workhorse. I’ve had a TurboScan on my phone for several years now. It’s become a go to utility on my phone. Anytime I need a copy of a written page or image, I use it. Anytime I’m given a form that someone expects me to fill in by hand, I scan it, email it to myself and fill it out on my computer. I probably use TurboScan once a week or more. The automatic scan with three images is very effective. Being able to manually set edges on the pages and adjust the lighting and contrast is, if needed, which is rare, also very helpful. I highly recommend it.

Love scanner...lacks organization of scan. Love the scanner but the organization of the scans is lacking. If I scan receipts and put them in a “Receipts” folder....I cannot sort them. They are stored only by date ....that’s a pain. Also I cannot edit the date of the scan if I scan a receipt a dayor two after I make a purchase, thus the receipt is put of chronological order and harder to find. Looking fir a better source with great scanning and at least better organization ability as organization of scans is very important. I contacted the developer and they have not plans to add these features any time in the future.

A Full Function Scanner in your Pocket. I have used this app for years. It is absolutely the best app on my phone (and I have some good ones). I use it for scanning, printing, documents, pictures, and recipes. It’s a great tool in bringing the”paper monster” under control. Scans are crisp, as good if not better than industrial printer/scanners I’ve used at work. The program makes it easy to send scans in a variety of formats- like pdf and jpeg. I have recommended this to my friends, who have marveled at the ability to scan on the go without having to go back to the office for the commercial scanner. I am currently using the app with an iPhone 7.
