Was great while it worked. Loved tracking my inventory with this app but now it just crashes after the latest IOS update.

Gold tracker. I like the Gold Tracker app. It's very handy quick and easy to check the prices of gold silver and platinum anytime and it's free you can't get much better than that I'll give it five stars by far.

For stackers, not collectors. This works really great! I can open it up and see what is happening with the value of what I’ve got, and it wasn’t complex to enter it in. Definitely worth the few bucks!

Needs help. They need. To add more coins and bars. Needs to be refreshed and modernization

Value of metal not right. Would give more stars but it doesn’t calculate price of metal correctly. If I divide what I paid by value per unit item or ounce price isn’t exactly right. If I put in number of 1 oz rounds it calculates fraction of ounce. And it has no help explaining anything that values represent like the values needed entered to compute actual value.

Vault feature does not work, customer no-service. I was hoping for this app to work to keep track of gold and silver bullion and silver coins. But this app does not work as advertised. What is worse, I contacted the company four times and they never replied to me. So sad as I can’t find any other app like this one.

Simple, functional, works great. Very simple app that displays all the info right away. Would be nice if it could update graphs / data faster, but that's nitpicking :)

Good Reference. A quick reference for when I want to know what is going on in the metal market and when I want to review trends so I can plan for future transactions and purchase. I don’t use the inventory feature. Input is time consuming.

Revised review. Previously left great review but when I got new iPhone and restored backup from old phone to the new new phone the vault data from this app did not transfer. It’s the only app I have whose data did not transfer. There seems to be no way to get your vault onto a new phone. I emailed the developer twice with no response.

Silver and palladium. Great update knowing before I go out to purchase more metals for my portfolio. I’m getting ready for the next down turn of the stock market.

No longer Premier.. This app no longer works on a iPad. The app display runs off the screen. When trying to add items to the vault the blue cancel and Done selection at the top of the page is off the screen. My vault details and purchase history disappeared. The app has no way of backing up the important data. Originally I liked the app a lot. It seems to no longer be supported. App support isn’t responding.

Great App!. Nice easy to use and understand.

Horrible Technical Support. The app delivers as promised, but if you encounter any technical issues, you’re on your own. I’ve had it for a few years and it worked fine until recently. Now, the app crashes upon opening. I’ve written tech support 4 times to no avail. I haven’t even received any acknowledgment of receipt of my messages.

Does what I need. I’m using this app to track the current and historical price of gold and silver.

Update needed. It’s a GREAT app for tracking your stack 🦍but it’s also been a few years since the last update. Silver collection needs expanded and a few bugs need fixed, but as is you can manually enter any shiny piece for it to track, you will just have a generic picture of a coin/bar instead of an accurate representation. Overall best app out there for tracking your stack. 🦍🦍🦍

GOLD TRACKER. Great app does a lot more than just give you real time spot prices. With the vault you can catalog all your metal and inventory with something you can see. Gives you gains on your investment with your average cost point. And charts you can review over 10 years. It does everything I am looking for to track and grow my portfolio.

Good app overall. Good app overall. Use it daily. Accurate accounting and calculation of my holdings. Only reason for 4/5 stars is because they only have 4/5 PMs on it. ADD RHODIUM PLEASE! Then the app will be 5/5 perfect.

App is basic but works. This is really the only app I could find to keep track of physical gold and silver. It’s nice the let you add custom coins that aren’t in their database already, but it’d be nice if they added some more. One addition I’d really like to see is goldbacks.

Great app for tracking my Bullion. I used to really like this app, but like other reviews, it crashes on my new iPhone 13. It doesn’t work anymore and is useless.

Ok, but not entirely stable. It’s accurate, and nice to have something to keep track of my inventory. But it crashes frequently. That gets very annoying when that happens in the middle of entering new purchases, because you lose everything you were working on. And you can’t edit a previous purchase, so you can’t save while entering and then pick up where you left off. The workaround is to enter each item as a separate purchase.

Great App. I didn’t know what to expect because I just started buying precious metals a couple of years ago. So far, I’m very happy with this product and have not had any issues. I have recommended this app to many collectors and they all love it too!

Nice clean app. Simple and works well for my needs.

Bad App. This App has been a huge disappointment. The Vault feature has not worked in months and all of saved info has been lost. The App will not even open and when I try to open it crashes the App.

Simple and quick!. I need to see precious metals value at a glance. This app does that! Also, the graphics are nicely designed.

App is okay. Using the vault is a bit of a pain. The coin registry/catalog is very limited. I have some coins from 2019 that are not in the registry yet. The value of your inventory is extremely basic. This app does not take into account the value of the coin, only the value of the scrap.

Waste of money.. Just purchased this app and every time I open it, it crashes immediately.

Aggravated. I bought this app hoping it was the tracker of my collection I was looking for, however; I’ve had some issues with my inventory . I added 10 coins that I had since I was a child (Quarters, dimes, and half dollars). The inventory price calculator is way off, saying that they were worth over $7000. Later, I purchased two 1oz silver bars. When I added it to my inventory, it says I own 4 of them. I deleted the purchase and re-entered it with the same problem. I emailed the app customer service 3 times and have yet to receive a response. I’m very frustrated.

Fantastic. I look at it everyday

DONT BOTHER! YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA. Went through a tedious amount of work to setup a vault. Inputting purchase dates, amounts, etc. it was helpful to keep track of until... One day all of it disappears. The entire vault. It doesn’t save backup so if and when your vault disappears you have no way of retrieving it again. Which means all the meticulous work you put in to track buy and sells etc is meaningless. Back to square one. Can’t tell you how frustrating this is!!!

Stay away from this app. The vault is gone now need to redo it should of stayed with the excel file i was using

Unreliable. Really the only major advantage offered over free apps is tracking holdings. You can get spot prices anywhere. As reported in another review, the app reported double the qty of one item. Deleting and re-entering the item did not correct this. To me, the fact that this can happen indicates poor software testing on the part of the developer. This being the case I don’t trust this app to make any sort of calculation correctly.

Needs updating. There are many coins that are not accounted for. You will have to put each coin in with information. This becomes very time consuming. Not worth the price.

Great app. Great app to keep up to date prices on your precious metals and a inventory of what you have acquired. Simple to use and Love it

Works well enough. Can be a little weird when going back into the app if you were in the vault. Also there are several popular coins missing, like helvetias and silver kruggerands. But it tracks everything you enter, has all the relevant fields, and is a lot easier than using an excel spreadsheet for me. Whenever I buy something I just whip out my phone and punch it in.

Vault no longer works. I really liked the way this app kept a listing of my stack and its current value, but about six months ago the vault stopped working and my holdings disappeared. Now when I open the vault it just displays my name and password.

Does not run 2023 iPhone. Downloaded. App shuts down after log in on my newer well running phone.

I Have Bought Them All !. Best app of it's kind & cheap! Calculators have more purity settings than others, & gives results in many currencies. Home screen has all the updating data you'd normally use a separate app for, & comes with updating charts as well. Best interface with no jumping from screen to screen to get the info you need. Just a home tab for data you need in a hurry, & four tabs for each metals' calculator & charts. A pleasure to use for the obsessive metals bug.

Very nice app. I like the app. It features clear and concise pricing of the precious metals live. The 'Vault' feature is also nice however could be further enhanced by allowing the user to input more than one purchase. For example if I buy gold/silver under my retirement fund I would like to track that as a distinct investment compared to my personal investments in gold/silver.

Great App!. Works well, links to charts, ticks all the boxes. Nice easy to use app. Sometimes freezes up but all the kinks seemed to have been ironed out in the last update. Highly recommended for any Metals traders.

Productive. Good app, does what it says. I like the vault, good idea but already done in goldbugvault and a little better but limited as it only does gold. A visual appealing concept like the one mentioned above but for all metals would work well. , like most apps this one has graphs but is boring. Give us moving safe combinations, spinning locks, swinging doors and visual chunks of gold, silver etc with markings,weights and the ability to individually name bars (owners), make the app more exciting / visually appealing, I'll be the first in line to buy. The real estate in smartphones / visuals etc is not being capitalized on with this and most apps. Anyway as stated good app, does what it says ........... but could still be better !

Crashes every time. The critical bugs that cause crashing on startup really need to be soughted out. As it is, this app is dead in the water.

A good app. The app is clear and well laid out. This is the main app I have running all day when checking spot prices. What would turn this good app into a GREAT app would be a feature to alert you when a MIN and MAX price of each metal is reached, and the ability to zoom in on the charts.

Five star app!. The best portfolio manager so far that runs on IOS. Three things that could make it even better: 1. Inventory P&L data 2. Ability to print or export data. 3. Cloud sharing of vaults. Bottom line? Not perfect but so far this is the only game in town for PM portfolio management on an i-device.

Works very well. I've tried quite a number of apps like this, but this is the only one which actually seems to work well, and which allows you to track your inventory. I recommend it.

Too old, does not work properly. The app is not optimized for iPhone X and the vault can’t count. I tried adding some purchases and now it’s saying I have more than I actually have. The prices are always up to date, that’s about all that this app is good for. Needs to be updated. 2 years ago your last update said “more updates soon”. Well has it been long enough?! Don’t know what your definition of soon is.

Crashing. Today, 26-Sep-10 this App would no longer open. It just crashes every time. I've installed the latest OS for iPad, and re-downloaded the App, but it's still not working. Worked well up until today.

Pleased, but theres room 4 improvement. Great app. Too few have tried to satisfy the desire for holders of physical precious metals to track the value of their inventory over time. This app serves such a purpose wonderfully. Hats off to developers. That being said, it frustrates me to no end that the 'vault' requires a passcode or touch id instantly upon leaving the app. The fact that this app is secured at all is, in my opinion, utter nonsense. What does someone have to hide here? (With the exception of one's wife inadvertently discovering she married a doomsday prepper)... In all seriousness, though, it is frustrating to have to revalidate my identity while I bounce back and forth from the app and a webpage or the ebay app when I am recording the details of my past purchases... Another feature that would be nice would be an export option or a cloud sync option.

Very well executed. Great app!. This app is well thought out and it performs great. The only nice, but not necessary, feature I would like to see is the ability to compare two metals in the historical charts; this would require different scales on left and right axes (or by color). OK, one more feature request: I'd like to be able to INPUT my desired target price and then see the market respond accordingly ;-)

Great support. I too am one of those people that paid for the program and it stopped working. But all I did was email The author and he got back to me within five minutes and apologized and gave me a free year on the spot. I am back up and running just exactly as I was before, I didn't lose anything. I suggest instead of complaining to nobody, everybody with this problem should send a message to him because he is very nice about this whole thing.

Love it. It's up all day as I keep an eye on spot prices. Love the vault and password protection option. What I'd like to have is an option to also include each purchase (separate entries for each number or bars, coins, type, etc...) that would add up to the totals for each. Even without that option, I think this is the best out there.

Math error. Downloaded this program about two years ago and paid for the app. Used it for a while but stopped for some reason. Decided to give it another go. At first I liked it a good bit. It allows one to enter their purchases and it tracks total ozs of precious metal content of your coins. The only problem, it that it over inflates the content which appears to be a calculation error inherent in the program itself. The math is wrong. If say that error was multiplied 500 times then an entire purchase could result in an error of several ozs more metal content than you actually have, and inflating the over all value on your collections worth. I hope its corrected soon.

Great app... would love to be able to add coin images for custom AG purchases.. This app is fantastic... does exactly what I want it to do. My one suggestion for improvement would be to add even more Silver coinage type or at least give us the ability to add images for Custom AG type. For example... I have silver kangaroos, Somali elephants and lots of Mexican coinage of various purity that must me set up as custom AG. Would be nice if I could attach the coin image for each of these custom items. Otherwise great!

Simple & Convenient. It's a great way for me to easily keep an eye on the value of my precious metals holdings. Tracks the markets and keeps track of my own inventory so I can easily see how much I'm holding in precious metals. Seems accurate when compared with Kitco.

Great app!!!. Wonderful app! I only wished that I was able to input single purchases to my vault instead of having to pool all my gold , silver etc... Purchases into 1 equation... Hard to keep track of my portfolio due to the numanistic value to some of my coins which I cannot keep tabs on when all the metal I own is pooled into 2 numbers.... 1) amount of ounces 2) total amount paid for said ounces.... Otherwise great app to keep track of the prices of precious metals ,.. I hope they come out with an update soon for single purchases... Thanx!

Frickin great!!!. I don't know why people give this app bad reviews. It's gold prices are current, and if u deal in scrap metals as I do this calculates prices on the spot. Absolutely worth $3!!! So much easier and faster than looking up current gold prices and calculating price! I'm just glad somebody made the app! Thanx!!

Nice shortcut tool! Want some more features.. Very useful! Improvements would include calcs setup for buyers vs for sellers. Also, I own items marked in various weights and purity levels and I'd like to see a calculator to help me figure out the total ounces of pure gold I own, rather than today's dollar value. AND I want a tracker to mark the price I got in for a particular amount that I own, so I can track my aggregate position.

Luv this app.. I buy gold silver and platinum, it is the easiest way to know you are going to buy it at a profit, plus keeping up with the current market prices is so fast and functional. this is one of my best apps that I have downloaded yet out of all of them bar none!

It lets you set up your collection in app and gives live feedback of how much it's worth and how much your down from original cost to current value. Fantastic app, much worth the 3.00$

I use this App every day!. Excellent graphics. Simple. Very user friendly. Calculator is awesome! Has graphs that work well! I love how it has the revolving prices that update almost real time, graphs, and a calculator. I bought some gold and silver and this app is like FB. I check it multiple times a day! This is the 2nd Gold app I've tried and I have been totally happy. Only complaint is every few days is will crash, but it takes like 5 seconds to open back up, and it would be cool to have a news feed. 5 stars! Love it.

(almost) FLAWLESS. I have purchased the full versions of every metal calculator available. This one blows them all away, and it keeps getting better. I loved the addition of custom karats / percentages and the vault. I only recommend that we be able to change the spot price of gold and silver for situations where customers have locked in at a certain price. Thanks Kory!

Excellent Precious Metals Tracker. I have used this gold, silver, platinum and palladium tracker for many months now. It is the perfect way to track live gold prices 24 hours a day. It's easy to enter your own personal quantities and the value of your investment is tracked real time to current spot value. It's the first app I consult every morning and several times throughout the day.

This program is fantastic.. I found this program to be outstanding and give it 5 stars. I use it everyday especially to see what is happening to the price of Gold. Without this, my decisions would have been emotional.

Great App. Very handy and easy to use. The daily tracking does not always display, but is great when it does. I wish it were possible to place multiple prices in the vault so that spot price gold/silver could be separated from more valuable coins with a high numismatic value.

Vault upgrade not new.. Paid for the app over 6 months ago. Upgraded vault function and now we have to pay for it? This is bad business current owners should have been grandfathered. If you want to pull a stunt like this develop a new app. Don't just update a current app and then start charging for access to current owners. I contacted developer and was offered 1 year free. Next year I would have to pay. This sounds like the scam turbotax is currently doing. Pay more to use the same product they offered the year before. Shameful.

Best app ever!!. I don't write reviews and have never rated an app until now!! I LOVE THIS APP!!! I use to have to use a calculator to figure how much to pay people for gold.. We are NOT in the 70's anymore people!! I type in the weight right in front of my customer, turn the phone around and show them how much their gold is worth.. I have my profit built in already.. How much I'm making is NEVER brought up and they sell every time!! I tell my customers everyday "I don't know what I would do without this app!!!" It is extremely simple to use and in my opinion this is the BEST app ever!!! Whoever made this app THANK YOU!!! I couldn't be happier!! Thanks again, Matt

Not Worth Paying For. This app is a great idea but falls flat in functionality. I wanted to delete the app right away when I found out that it only calculates value for whole ounces, kilos, and grams. What about silver coins and fractional gold pieces?! Fractional pieces have value above their metal spot price. Coins of different sizes, national origins, and brands also price differently. This app would have been great if it accounted for those complex calculations. Instead it does basic math that investors can do with pen and paper. The app can't be locked either, which leaves your financial information open to anyone who gets a hold of your phone. Don't waste your money or time on this. And be careful using it since you can't lock it.

Update slowed it down significantly.. I loved this app previously, but now that they added the "vault" to it, it slowed down a lot. Further, the prices for tracking your gold holdings is based on spot prices, not actual physical prices. For example, a gold eagle goes for 60+ over spot. So the vault significantly understates the true value of your holdings where it is meaningless. I wish they had a drop down of what kind of gold you have.

Metal Currencies. This program is thus far the best I have yet found, but needs improvement! Mostly the charts which could do with much improvement, by adding capabilities of allowing different currencies, weights & measures, basic chart analysis, chart functions, and set able alarm points. Voice functions would also be a phenomenal improvement along with text to speech. Finally, just a simple high definition image chart would be helpful! The vault could also do with some improvements, as when new information is added, it should allow an option to automatically average price and quantity of new and old data and undo function, to give new average price and total quantities of precious metals owned. This should allow for adding or subtracting new quantities at given price. It would be awesome if one can set target buy and sell points for specific quantities! This would mean target prices and stop loss executions, whether carried out in spot or futures. This should also automatically calculate into foreign currencies of whatever weight denominations with current market rates. With these improvements, I would say, traders & professionals would be lining up for this app! Amen Ra

Not a way to treat your customers. If you update your app you will lose your previous vault information and must pay exorbitant fees (ongoing) to access it. This is a really poor way to treat your longstanding paying customers. People that invest in precious metals (in general) despise underhanded business tactics like this. Developer, if you do not change this immediately your app will be flooded with one star reviews, your existing customers will go elsewhere, and your app will not recover because it will be impossible to undue all the poor reviews that are about to come.

OUTSTANDING. I'm able to produce "valid" melt prices with the % spot hide function. Every gold hustler should have this app, even if you're offering 20%, show the customer the weight and karat input anyways and BAM you've snaked them out of some gold. I've made enough money using this deceptive app to purchase my third Benz cash money. I also love to sprinkle small diamonds on my food before I eat it. Makes my dookie twinkle! Ballin IS easy!

A must gave for the metals stacker. If u are into valuable coins, forget it. This is all about stacking gold and silver. Input how much you have of each and the total amount you have paid for it so far. It will tell you the gains and loss. Bars, coins, nuggets... Keep on stacking my friends! P.S. Could really benefit from better charts.

Simple, clean interface with exactly the information I need. I am in the financial services business and this app helps me stay on top of gold and silver pricing moves, in real time, while also allowing me to create my own "bid and ask" price spreads for metal purity and weight. The charting feature is just an added bonus that provides a visual, along with all the other information, all in one place.

Very cool. This is very cool. How much $ I have in metals at a glance in real time & how much profit. Nice. The only thing I wish it had is multiple purchase dates with multiple purchase prices. But I'm glad I could contribute to the collage fund!!!! PS My boys use it on their iPods to see how much $ they are making on their silver too. They love it. ;-)

Perfect app for physical gold!. Just downloaded the update from iTunes and the app is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I am a pawnbroker, and we buy and sell gold at several different locations. The near real-time quotes, and the calculators make this the perfect app for anyone buying and selling physical gold on a daily basis. Worth every penny, and I can see my employees all screaming for ipads pre-loaded with GT once they see it running. 5 stars because 6 wasn't an option!

***. Horrible upgrade. Should be called a money grab. A couple years of my hard work erased in seconds. I had a running total of all ounces of gold and silver. Many thousands of ounces of silver. Knew EXACTLY my dollar cost average. Now I'm at a loss. At least I have an ideas of my total ounces but my cost? Not any more. Was offered a free vault by the owner, but a simple app now is complicated. In fact you can't add fractions of an ounce for gold as there's no decimal point. And the nth has a mind of its own. Wish I could give it zero stars. Hrs angers of hard work gone. I hope you lose ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS, never get a new one and have to collect shopping carts in the snow for the rest of your life just to make a living

Thanks for the bug fix! Works great. I'll give 4 stars for the fix and add ons. Good job- there is always room for improvement in any app. This app in particular could have the layout improved and simplified. But overall, the app is great. I am a gold buyer and investor in mines throughout latin America and this app allows me to stay up to the minute and make crucial decisions while on the go based on the near up to the minute updates. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

Great app. Great information at a quick glance. Makes transactions easy. My only complaint is the vault feature. You can only enter your purchases as one lump, meaning if you buy more of a metal, you have to delete your current info, add them together yourself and re-enter in the app. Would be so much easier if you could enter purchases as you make them and the app does the math.

Best bullion pricing app there is. Hands down the best app to check gold silver platinum pricing. App shows overseas market when ny one is closed and is extremely easy to read even is color coded so you know if it's a good day or bad day prior to seeing the plus minus for the day. I usually don't write reviews but wanted the developer to know how happy I am with this app

Gold tracker. I work in a coin shop. Half of my day is spent buying gold and silver from walkin public. This program has become my right arm in speeding up my transactions. The public can see the figures being put in ant the totals they will receive. Great tracking and instant update is essential. Very pleased with this program. Jwh

Love it. Been using then for maybe 6mo now. And it's PERFECT! And if the app ever gives you any trouble you can rest easy knowing the creator will reply to you swiftly to get it back up and running. The problem I had was it not displaying the prices, just sayin "Null." Shot the creator an email and he got back to me w/i 6hrs on how to fix it.

Needs charts in multiple currencies!!!. This app does a decent job, but is limited to only providing prices in multiple currency values and not displaying (charts) gold's value across those respective currencies. This critical option provides a valuable reference point to the trader/investor in assessing the next price move of the metal. Case in point; if gold is gaining in dollar terms, but only holding or losing value relative to other currencies then the move is suspect. Please add this option. It would be of the utmost value!!!!!!

Good app. I like this app for keeping track of my new gold/silver collection as far as value, and I love that it gives automatic live updates all day long. You can actually watch your values fluctuate minute to minute. My two complaints are one, that you cannot really edit your purchases. You actually have to delete and re-enter; and two, I would like to see a larger collection of coinage to choose from for those who collect physical gold and silver. And I would love if there were more information included about premiums, especially for collectible coins. However just fixing the edit-ability of the app would move it to five stars for me.

GREAT!!!. Great app!!! I use it everyday. I use the Ag Calculator for buying silver, but the Au Calculator is a little off. It is probably TECHNICALLY correct, but I use formulas provided by the refiner that I use. I love this app and it saves me a lot of time! The one feature that would set it over the top for me would be a quote for the DOLLAR and CRUDE OIL. I know this is outside of the intended use of the app, but it would then truly be my one stop app. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!

Great!!. Awesome app!! Only recommended change for upcoming versions would be the ability to add multiple, individual purchases to the "Vault" feature (vs total overall purchases) so you don't have to recalculate total holdings and investment amount each time. That would earn the fifth star.

No place for non-constructive criticism. I have been a long time user of this app and am very pleased with this latest version which has built on the already excellent previous version. The newly added features enrich the app and I can't think of any further features that I would like to see added. I was quite surprised by the number of negative reviews that appeared however in the bigger scheme of things that number of negative reviews is quite small. More concerning is the lack of accuracy in the reviews with regards to costs involved and the use of words like "exorbitant" and "extortion" demonstrate a lack of professionalism and proper understanding of what is involved in the development of this app. I for one am very happy with this latest version and the ongoing excellent customer service and support which is beyond reproach. Those "threatening" to go elsewhere will find no equivalent to this app. To Kory, well done!
