USPS Mobile® App Description & Overview

What is usps mobile® app? Access popular USPS.com® tools on the go with the “USPS Mobile® app: calculate shipping prices (limitations apply), find a Post Office™, look up a ZIP Code™, schedule a next-day pickup, request USPS to hold your mail, access Informed Delivery® to track packages and digitally preview incoming mail, and more.

WHAT CAN IT DO?

The USPS Mobile app allows you to:

• Check the status of shipments sent using Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Certified Mail®, and certain other delivery services. Nickname your shipments and sign up for text and email alerts to notify you of the delivery status.

• Calculate a Domestic or International Price to determine how much postage you will need when you ship a letter, card, large envelope, or package (limitations apply). Choose retail or online pricing, add any extra services you need, and view the total, too.

• Find USPS® Locations when you need to get to a Post Office™, Self-Service Kiosk (APC®) or collection box with an easy-to-filter locator. The USPS Mobile app uses your device’s GPS to show your closest options on a map, along with their Regular Hours, Special Hours and Last Collection Times, and provides mapped results with driving, walking, or transit directions.

• Look up a ZIP Code™ for any U.S. or Canadian address.

• Schedule a free next-day pickup and have your Letter Carrier pick up Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Global Express Guaranteed®, or Merchandise Return Services shipments from your home or office during regular mail delivery.

• Request Hold Mail Service while you’re away, and we’ll keep your mail at your local Post Office™ for you to pick up or be delivered by your carrier when you return.

• Scan the barcode on shipping labels with your device’s camera (Note: this function is not available on iPad 1 and iPod Touch models without rear-facing cameras). The app recognizes the shipment and stores the label number, so you can stay on top of delivery status.

Link to Informed Delivery to track packages and digitally preview your household’s incoming mail arriving soon; view grayscale images of the exterior, address side of letter-sized mailpieces.

USPS Mobile® Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

The Pony Express. Their Tracking System is so vague which may be on purpose so you are totally unaware of your actual parcel location. Had a Priority package which was supposed to get to an address in California within four days from Honolulu, Hawaii which was according to the USPS tracking system in transition that after a week I had to inquire where it was and was told that it was in the Barrigada, Guam. Apparently they (Honolulu Main USPS Distribution Center) thought that California from Hawaii was west of the island. So after two weeks the package finally arrived damaged at the address in California. A week later upon shipping a similar package to the same address in Southern California we found that the delay this time was due to the package being sent to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania so upon sending a query why the package was in Pennsylvania instead of California I received a msg that the package was in transit again, And they wonder why they are losing money? Seriously?

Fix the App!!!!!!!!. As a Postal Employee whose given my opinions previously (which are always asked for to help improve the service), why don’t y’all listen? Seriously, whoever’s behind the functionality of this app should take a dang seat and find one of the many employees who will get it done right. There’s a lot of hidden talent in the USPS that’ll help y’all get it together. Why are we now notified we’re leaving the app to go to the USPS site to track our packages and not be able to add a name to the tracking number as we previously did? Why doesn’t the app link to our USPS Account so we can easily make changes or updates to packages that’ll be sent to the Delivering Station and the Carrier who scans our packages so they’ll see any notes on the MDD Scanner? I mean there’s so much that can be done with this app that’ll make life so much easier but y’all just keep slacking. Stop it and get someone else on board.

Please fix the pop up. I love all the features available on the app and use it almost daily. My only complaint is the with the recent update came an incredibly annoying pop up. Every time I open the “track” section, I get a pop up warning me I’m “leaving the app” and subject to the privacy etc for the website. I assume this is because the track section actually launches a tracking webpage within the app as it isn’t opening Safari. It probably wouldn’t be quite as annoying if it did not pop up literally every time I go back to the main screen of tracking info. For example, I click “track” in on the menu, it pops up. I select a tracking number from my list to see more details, then go back from the detailed tracking page to my list of tracked packages, it pops up again. I add a new tracking number to my list, it pops up again. I add a name to that tracking number, pop up again.

Great app for tracking packages. The main thing I use the app for is tracking packages that I’ve either sent or am expecting. One improvement that could get a 5 star rating from me would be if there was a way to make a note or “name” the packages that you are tracking. Currently, there is just a lot of packages that are identified by the long tracking numbers. When you have 4 or 5 (or even more) packages being tracked at a time, it is very confusing to know which is which. Having the ability to rename the items listed or add a note would aid in identification of what is in transit and what is lost. Thank you for the convenience of only have to enter a tracking number once to watch an item all the way to delivery, now take the last step and make the list of packages more coherent to monitor :)

Updates have rendered this app useless. I don’t normally feel compelled to write reviews on apps but the culmination of recent updates/changes to this app made me feel compelled to write one. As someone who tracks their packages very closely, the option to utilize access the tracking info was very appealing. However, due to changes to the app’s functionality the app essentially opens a web browser for every action one would perform within the app. For instance, if you track one of your packages it instantly shows a message stating that the app will redirect you to the USPS website and load the tracking info. If you select informed delivery to see incoming mail/packages, the same thing happens. While this does accomplish the task of showing your tracking info, it begs the question why you would use the app rather than just going to USPS website? Versus an app such as FedEx’s which performs all of this natively in an easy to read and fast format. I could be remembering this incorrectly, but I’m pretty sure that the USPS app used to function this way as well. Nonetheless, there is no longer any reason I can see why I would continue using this app in its current state as it no longer makes things any easier than utilizing the website. The reason for me giving them 2 stars is due to app at least working and being functional. But doesn’t make the consumer’s life much or any easier.

Changes but not progress. I honestly use to greatly enjoy the USPS app. However the latest updates seem to have broken tracking. For awhile I could no longer enter tracking numbers under the track tab but only on the Home Screen. This was mostly fine. Honestly a minor inconvenience at best. This was fixed however but now I can’t view any information under the tracking tab anymore. Before I could see progress etc but now clicking on anything that is being tracking send me to my web browser to open a new tab to view all tracking details. To me this makes the app essentially useless. What is the point of using the app if I have to go to the web to view all tracking information anyways. And is the reason I’m leaving this review. I’m hoping it will lead to it being corrected. I really hope so because right now I’m tracking everything through third party apps instead like Shop.

Effectiveness of App. I think the app in general is good, is for the most part effective and easy to use. I do though, as a person who uses the app on a highly regular basis, think that there are a few areas where it could be improved to ensure a higher on time delivery percentage and/or accountability factor. I have packages I’m tracking that will take numerous days (in some cases up to a week or more) to receive updated statuses. I don’t know if this is something that could be integrated into the app, but if there is a way to notify offices that a package has not departed or arrived within a set amount of time, forcing them to do so, that would be huge to a consumer like myself who is too often left to wonder day after day what the delay is without any updates whatsoever, often leading to them wonder if the package got lost along the way somewhere? Thank you!

Informed delivery. I am really appreciative of this informed delivery service, because I truly believe that where I live, the super of the building has the main key to the mailboxes. However I am highly disappointed that for any mail larger than a regular sized envelope pictures aren’t taken. I am in a building where this no good man is getting away with a federal crime and I truly need a picture of every last piece of mail coming into my mailbox because USPS has not changed the main mailbox key even though I complained about this many years ago to USPS . How long should this man be able to do this ? I don’t know. But i truly think he and his sons have been doing identity theft with my identity. I’m trying to get the proof. However no super of any building should have the main key to the building he lives and works out of because it’s creating a perfect storm for a person of nefarious intentions like himself. Thank You and I truly hope the right person reads this and it could cause some kind of change in my building. Thanks again.

USPS - Mental Torture. You wonder how our Government can get anymore screwed up? Try ordering stamps online. They say wait 7-10 days. 3 days later the say they delivered them. At the end of 10 days, I start trying to find my stamps. They said they delivered the last Friday and this is Thursday morning. The app has no way of reporting the missing stamp, so I call the 1-800-number. It took 5 tries to copy the information that should’ve been in their app. They won’t the particulars of the order, so I go to tracking to get the information. Tracking gives the information in individual boxes to make it impossible to copy and paste the information in the email that I’m writing to request their assistance as to why they can’t deliver the stamps I ordered. After the 5 calls to the 1-800-number, a survey was supposed to ask what I think of the USPS site, like it matters, but it just hangs up on you. USPSUCKS

Functions perfectly, even if it’s an older design. The app could use a visual refresh, but it functions so well that it’s not worth deducting stars IMO. One of the main things I dislike about third party tracking apps is it doesn’t update in real time. I’ll get something delivered and it won’t update in the app until hours/days later. This app gives me real time updates for all my USPS deliveries all at once, which is all I could ask for. The one improvement I’d like to see is to make Click N Ship a native part of the app. Currently, it just takes you to the website. It’s a pet peeve of mine when apps just link to the website instead of making it part of the app, but the website works well so it’s not an inconvenience.

Very Glitchy. I use the app primarily to track my occasional Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express parcels that I am either sending or receiving. The app has glitches galore. The update button at the bottom of the tracking page does not work; if I tap on that button, it just stays in an “Updating…” state forever. I have to force close the app and reopen to refresh the list sometimes. Also, sometimes the tracking page simply does not appear after tapping on the Track button at the app’s home page; occasionally, it will remain as a blank white page forever. Further, why does the USPS mark a package as being on time to its destination even when it’s not until the expected delivery date/time is near or passed? If the USPS knows that a package is delayed and isn’t where it needs to be to meet service standards, they should mark the tracking as being delayed rather than showing the item as on time until that expected delivery date is broken.

Might as well just use the website. During the last major update of this app, the package tracking function offloaded nearly the entire experience to the usps mobile site. And multiple notices (requiring dismissal to proceed) that the user is leaving the app and entering a website now pop up as soon as the tracking number is entered. Some functionality in the app was lost, like being able to replace a tracking number with a nickname in the list view. The only real advantage of the app now for tracking is that it does retain previous searches in memory. Otherwise it’s just a redirect to the mobile site. If you plan to or already use the app for other purposes, I’m sure it could be helpful. But for tracking, the functionality in the app is actually worse than it used to be. Meanwhile UPS and FedEx are only improving their tracking functions in their apps.

Might as well just use the website from your phone’s browser. I downloaded the app in hopes that I’ll be able to manage my tracking numbers for packages and Informed Delivery all in one space. But for some reason, instead of having most of the features launched in-app, it opens in a browser that constantly displays a this annoying pop-up. Sometimes I don’t even actually leave the USPS app and I’ll still get it, which means there’s some messed up the coding somewhere. I read a few reviews and apparently the browser redirection is a new implement. You used to be able to access everything from the actual app itself. I don’t know why they decided to go this route. You might as well just not use the app if it’s just going to take you to the website. You also don’t even stay logged in long enough for Informed Delivery. You have to sign in every time you open the app, which is a pain.

Sad. I like this app because I can keep all of my tracking numbers accessible. One thing I really enjoyed was naming each individual tracking number so I knew what was coming or where my boxes that I sent to family were. Now I cannot view any tracking in the app, it takes me to my browser to the usps website. I am unable to name any of the tracking numbers which is frustrating as I have to look up what tracking number goes with what purchase or recipient. At this point the app doesn’t seem to be that useful to me. I can go to the websites I order from and track my packages from there easier. Or open my email and click on the tracking number for the packages that I send to friends and family. And I know exactly which package I am looking at or what recipient I am looking at.

Informed Delivery app was 20X better. I don’t have a clue why you would discontinue the Informed Delivery app. In the several years I’ve used that app, I never had problems with it. It was so quick and easy, and a big help to me. Okay, so you’re discontinuing that app and want us to start using the USPS Mobile app to view the Informed Delivery info. Well, why can’t you make it as a quick and easy?? Not only is it ridiculous to have another window open after tapping “Informed Delivery” on this USPS Mobile app, but then to have it require logging in, is just another step that takes time. But the worst part is that it will not stay logged in!! Why??? It’s 2021, USPS. If smartphone users don’t have facial recognition, they have touch ID, and if they don’t have touch ID, they have passcodes on their phones. FIX THIS APP SO IT STAYS LOGGED IN!!! I can easily see from reading other recent reviews, that almost every person is very unhappy about this exact issue. Does that not tell you something?!

Little clunky but works fine!. First, everyone should consider themselves lucky to even be able to have and use the app. I had received notification the app was to have been discontinued at least a year or two ago! I’ve been using the app ever since it came out. It’s not the greatest; a little clunky, but it works and does what it says it does. For laughs - read some of the one star ratings. Either comments that have been made have nothing to do with the app at all or people simply don’t understand how it and the postal system works! YES, you need a USPS account (and sign in) so you can check for your OWN mail and their services. The sign in is hard to see sometimes because it’s at the bottom of the page of the app and you need to scroll up a little to see in entirety if you need. Also, the app does NOT send you to USPS website in a browser Informed delivery “is” clunky but once you understand it - it works fine. PLUS!! You actually need to have signed up for informed delivery service with your post office in order to see scanned mail (informed delivery) on the app. If you don’t - NO informed delivery. And yes, it could use an update. Even though the App Store says it had an update a year ago… I don’t think it ever really has ever had one.

Meh. The USPS app used to be very helpful and easy to use. As of recently, it is more complicated. You can no longer rename your packages so you actually know what that tracking number is for, and anytime you click on a tracking number it takes you to the web version of the tracking instead of showing you on the app. It’s kind of nonsense and a useless extra step. I miss the way it used to be when you could control everything in the app. I dont know what the point of the app is anymore if they just send you to the website. It’s no longer a phone friendly app. They really messed things up when they got rid of the informed delivery app.. I was fine with them doing away with it because it was an extra app that you could do all the same things on the original usps app, but after that they started “tweaking” the original app and now I won’t even use it. It’s just a meh app now.

Malicious, conniving data collection. This is not an app. It’s merely a fancy bookmark placed on your Home Screen. I only started using this when the dedicated Informed Delivery app was discontinued. At first I had issues with having to constantly sign in. But then I realized, that it’s not an app but a bookmark which launches and uses safari (if you’re on iPhone) and accesses the USPS using your web browser. The issue with this, is that places cookies and tracks all your internet usage, sites you visit, etc etc continuously, after that. I just want to get a preview of my mail. I don’t want the freaking USPS collecting all my data on every other site I visit. The most infuriating thing is that on the App Store, it says “this app does not collect any personal data”. Well that’s true for two reasons. One, it’s not a stand alone dedicated app to even begin with. Two, it doesn’t have to track you via the “app” because it uses Safari to access services/info, and THAT tracks you. I am deleting immediately and I guess I just won’t use Informed Delivery anymore. It’s things like this that give me no mercy for the state the usps is in.

Almost pointless for tracking now. I used to use this app a lot to organize, label and track packaged which were coming and going. Since the app has been changed to redirect to a website instead of providing tracking info within the app itself, I can no longer change the tracking number to a label I can recognize faster, there’s an annoying pop up alert every time you visit your list which was never there before and pressing cancel or ok does the same thing, so not sure why they bother having two options for input there. Then instead of staying within the app to see my information, I get redirected to my browser and have to bounce back and forth between the browser and the app to view multiple items. These updates are huge leaps in usability failures. I can save time by checking my email and clicking the links on there to get almost the same usability experience. There are still some not so often used features I can still appreciate in the app, but as far as tracking goes now? … nah…

APIs Still Working, But Alas Not the App/UI. It’s a constant struggle to actually get accurate informed delivery information, but it’s like every other week there’s something wrong with the server, causing a complete block out from the site. It’s been over a year since the last update was officially made to this app and quite frankly, it’s well past time for another update. There has been a longstanding issue with the app cutting off the upper section of the incoming mail & packages count, I’ve submitted multiple reports of this to the apparent offshore support team through the app (which that in and of itself is flawed; e.g. it doesn’t remain automatically refreshed like it should do as you wait for an agent on their Salesforce site), yet nothing ever happens to address the issue. For how much we pay for postal services, you’d think we could actually get these fixes resolved rather quickly and at least receive some sort of notification from USPS when their services are unavailable, along with an estimated time for remediation of the issue(s)…That’s what our own customers expect and I see no reason why they couldn’t do the same for us.

Mail. My only problem with my mailman or woman I believe it’s a mailman that always Krams all our mail in there even if we have packages. On one side of the group mailbox he opens and puts our mail and that is about an inch bigger than our side. So when I go to get the mail if there’s a package a big package my husband has to try to get it himself. my husband wrote a letter to you in regards to disability my husband is disabled and now I am disabled is there anyway the mailman deliver our mail to the house? He can just set it on the front porch if you would like that would be wonderful and a huge help to both of us thank you very much for your time. Have a wonderful weekend and a great day ! marcie and michael meyer.

Well, can’t get tracking texts alerts anymore.. For quite some time now, text alerts haven’t been able to work. As soon as I select to receive all alerts listed below, enter my number and agree to the terms, nothing happens. Just prior to not getting anything now, I liked that they made it to where you get one text confirming that I’ve opted to receive all text tracking updates, instead of one confirmation text for each option, and then the most recent update on a package. I drive mostly for work, and don’t always have time to stop or always get enough reception for cellular data, and manually check; so it’s great to at least get full tracking alerts, via standard text sms, for packages I select and be able to simply just look at my phone to see if there’s any updates on my packages. I’ve had the USPS app for years, probably close to 10, it’d be nice if they finally get full tracking alerts via app push notifications too. If they had the money to keep a separate informed delivery app that was more up to date despite it being buggy, (which my mom told me about as a medically retired rural carrier of 34 years) I’m thinking they certainly have the money and resources to finally add and make use of such a basic option for a smartphone app.

Ugh..FIX IT!!!. I liked the way the app used to work, everything stayed in the app. Now you get an annoying pop up warning you that you’re leaving the app on everything you do, you can no longer “nickname” the packages coming in making it easier to keep track. Also now when you click to check tracking it takes you to the website instead of the simple info on the app. The old way was definitely better. I wouldn’t call the way the app is now an update. Unfortunately I will still use this app, because it’s the best to track mail, but if you could put it back to the way it was before, more user friendly that would be awesome!

Needs an update. The last update the app was given resulted in me losing the ability to rename my packages and being able to check the actual tracking on the app. Now you can no longer rename each package on the app, and when you click to track it redirects you to the USPS website and opens a new tab for every single package you track. I liked having the ability to rename each package, because it made it easier to track numerous packages on the app itself. Since now On the app you can only see tracking numbers and not package nicknames, it very confusing to figure out which tracking # is for which package. It seems obsolete to have the app when the app just reroutes you to website and you don’t even know which package you clicked on to track because you can’t rename each package on the app. I wish they would change it back to the way the app worked before.

My Go-To App. I use the USPS app primarily for tracking any expected incoming packages and the status of packages and other parcels that I’ve sent. This includes items sent overseas. It lets me know when I can expect delivery at the destination. The USPS app helps me to use their services with confidence from my laptop or mobile device anywhere. This app lets me determine the best prices and options for shipping items. As the USPS often serves as the “last mile” carrier for the other package delivery companies, this is shown on the USPS tracking information. And it allows me to hold my mail when I’m out of town. The U.S. Postal Service and their employees are very dependable and deliver my mail and packages with professionalism and reliability. My regular neighborhood mail carrier is familiar with many of the people on her route and makes sure that delivered packages are either safety locked in the neighborhood package mailbox or brought up to my front door entrance and placed in a location not visible from the street. This is greatly appreciated as package thieves are rampant here. The USPS app lets me know the package has been delivered.

Great App it’s has a few qwerks but it’s Awesome. I love this app!! It’s very accurate it keeps you up to date on your mail and packages!! The only down side is that I have to login to many times I feel, but I really shouldn’t complain it ensures me that my account is secured and not left logged in somewhere else I’ve used it.. Thats the only downside for me Everything else is Great! It even lets you if something is delayed even if it’s not what you want to hear, at least it’s honest and let’s you know. Even with the one issue I still give it 5 star’s, because it’s so accurate. I recommend getting and informed delivery is my favorite, it gives you the option t mark for mail you haven’t gotten and they will find and normally get it to you the next days!

I am not able to set up mail tracking. With this app we are supposed to be able to be alerted about every letter and parcel that will be sent to us. But the process to get that started this so difficult on this app, it’s basically impossible. You’re supposed to send me an email or text message or phone call, but you don’t do that. I’ve given you my phone number several times, but you do not save it for my profile so every time I try to complete the final step to activate my Mail tracking, it says you don’t know my phone number even though I just gave it to you 10 seconds ago. You need to login profile so that you can store my information and then use it once I need to start the mail tracking that way you will have my number on record - with a user login. It would be better if I just gave you my user login and address, and then I don’t have to sign up for some extra special feature, just have it be a basic standard primary function of the app so that anyone who has the app will always be able to track their packages if they can prove who they are. That would make it so much easier and less exclusive to “the eligible.”

It’s basically a web browser and not a good one. This just basically opens the USPS website like you could on safari. EXCEPT ITS WORSE THAN SAFARI! I have to go through the login procedure for everything, everytime, even if I was just in that section 3 seconds ago or a section that the same login is valid for. That is, unless you navigate in the browser page that pops up when you click on a button from the homepage. Again, why not just use safari and bookmark the page. The only plus about this is because it’s literally a webpage in the app, my password manager app instantly recognizes what the appropriate password should be to login. I currently use the informed delivery app which worked well because in an instant I could see what was coming and going. This thing is supposed to replace it but I just use the USPS site because it’s faster as a homepage bookmark than this app. I’m not surprised about this app though, it’s typical government garbage, somebody knew someone that had a cousin that donated money to someone and they needed a couple million to slap a browser in an app and call it useful.

Missing features I need. I got this app and hoped to be able to do two things: see where blue dropboxes are and send physical money orders to any address. This app cannot do either. I’ve been trying to limit how much I have to go to the post office since my day doesn’t often take me past one. I had really hoped this app would show me where all the blue dropboxes were on my way to and from everywhere. I checked it one day after downloading it and found out there was supposed to be a blue dropbox just down the street. I got there and didn’t see one anywhere. It would’ve nice if the app’s designers added some place to show a picture of the actual dropbox so you don’t have to drive/walk all over the place looking for it in the general vicinity of the map marker. I also hoped it had a feature that would allow me to send physical money orders to whatever address I needed to send to just like you could do at a post office. I currently need to send some to a PO Box. I don’t see any feature for that at all. Smh. I hope both these features are added in the future so I can take care of my business quick, fast, and in a hurry without having to detour to go into a post office and during business hours.

Excellent app USPS not so much. The USPS app is excellent for use. I wish it would let me go back an entire month though. If only the USPS would deliver what the app says everyday that would be great! I have had times where I have had no mail- I expected 5 pieces and reported it. One week later I sent an e-mail complaining that it was stolen? We had some mail stolen from box’s in my area close by and a second time very close by. My 5 pieces of mail ended up arriving 10 days after they were supposed to. My mail had been forwarded originally, the forwarding took 30 days you add 10 more days well 40! One of the pieces was very important, from Court. The app works great just not always USPS.

Fix your app please. Please fix your app, I love your app when it’s working because I always enter my ph number and check the text box to stay updated on my deliveries and also to notify me when delivery is made which has worked great till now. Now when I try getting text updates and hitting the done button and checking the I agree box it does nothing, usually I always get text right away telling me everything and then continues keeping me updated by sending me more text and now when I click the done button it’s done nothing I tried getting rid of the app and re-downloading it still it does nothing as if it’s not working at all I can track my package one time by putting in the tracking number and that’s it, it will not let me send my ph number for text updates which I’ve always done before flawlessly so something is wrong with your app please fix it so I can continue tracking my packages

Informed Delivery App Was Better. I use the USPS mobile app primarily for the Informed Delivery service. I used and loved the Informed Delivery app, but begrudgingly moved to this app when USPS killed the Informed Delivery app. Regarding Informed Delivery, the app isn’t even doing anything. You are essentially being directed to the website. This app is more of a website disguised as an application. It is ridiculous that you have to login Every. Single Time. and every time you navigate away from the app. Very annoying and frustrating. This app should also implement the use of logging in via Face ID. A little ridiculous and surprising that you can’t login using Face ID. I also constantly receive warnings that I am now leaving the app when using many of the services and the app opens up a browser and attempts to do what should be done in the app. Then when I go back to the app I have to login again! There should also be a widget for inbound packages or some sort of tracking. A little more thought is definitely needed for this app.

Not Reliable. I thought using this program to keep track of USPS orders related to my job would be convenient, but I’ve learned my lesson. If you try to add tracking information too quickly, the program isn’t best optimized to handle it. Not only that, but it will decide on its own that it just wants to get rid of all the rest of the tracking information you had stored. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME MULTIPLE TIMES. If I could rate this program 0 stars, I would. You would think with it being The United States Postal Service they could put more money into this app and at least make sure tracking information NEVER gets deleted, unless the user does so themselves. If you plan to use this program to keep track of multiple tracking numbers, just write them down. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!

The Post Office Employees! Amazing!. I if anyone looks below the surface of USPS administration, it is obvious that a lot of compromises have to occur to align with demands of hierarchy. In particular, lLouis DeJoy is firmly bent towards making postal service decisions that destroy the systems ability to function efficiently. He has other interests and investments to protect and nurture. That said, it is the employees who have to deal with the brunt of these malicious decisions, and who do their best to keep this enormous system moving along the best they can. My hat is off to them for keeping focused on the work, not on other aspects of the system that are more disheartening. I wish everyday Americans knew the real source of issues with the postal system, and they may then be kinder and more understanding of the struggles internally. I love the post office, and am grateful for their hard work behind the scenes and at the retail counter. Long live the USPS!

Poorly designed. We try to use this app frequently but find it very difficult to update when you attempt to extend your out of town dates to hold your mail. Dispite several attempts over the last several years, we have been unable to do so. Additionally if you simply want to add just 2 more days, you can’t start it ie on the 25th and end on the 26th of this current month August. Even if we know we want to extend those days in advance, it’s impossible to even be able to do it in advance because the system doesn’t allow you to make changes to your dates. Although we appreciate trying to avoid the mail piling up in our mailbox, the software for this app is certainly substandard. I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that the app is as bad as pretty much the rest of the USPS service we get which includes plenty of missing mail never arriving or misdelivered mail for people not even close by our house. I have been trying to minimize my use of the USPS as much as possible, unfortunately it can’t be totally bypassed. The USPS system has been a mess for us since around 2009, so I guess we should just expect the lowest level of customer service as they usually deliver.

I love Informed Delivery. From the day I first began using it, I know what to expect in my mailbox (with pictures of what it should look like) and even know exactly when a package has been delivered, if I’m home, I go to the mailbox and retrieve packages within minutes of them arriving. If I’m not home, I check what has been delivered against what was supposed to be delivered that day and can even let the USPO know immediately if anything was missing, simply by putting a check mark next to the entry. With mail theft being a problem, I know if something is missing the day of delivery. The App. Does a ton more things, if you need it to, but the bottom line is I’ve found it to be very useful and best of all, it’s a free service.

Impossible. I’ve had this app for a long time. However, I haven’t been able to use it in the last couple of years. I forgot the password and had to answer the two questions I had to choose and answer for security reasons. Note to self, choose questions that have an absolute answer. I didn’t do that. The directions tell you to create a new account. I did that, but I have to use the same email address as that is the only one I have. I was able to get all the way through creating a new account even with new security questions. When I hit submit, it said that email is being used. Of course it is, it’s me! I tried calling 1-800 numbers associated with USPS that would say I will receive a live person to talk to about this. They lied. This app is useless if you can’t use it. All I want to do is change the security questions and change my password!

Unprofessional attitude. I am really not impressed with the poor service, I have been getting from USPS. Irrespective of the any times called USPS, with regards to receiving open mails. Especially my mails from the revenue department. I am still getting them opened. Was recently disrespected by a usps representative. Who delivered mails at my apartment complex. Try expressing my concern in a respectful manner to her , since it was only my mail for the IRS and State Revenue Department letter were opened , all the other mail was never opened. This had happened on more than one occasions and the matter reported to USPS. Had just received another open mail from IRS ,thought that if I spoke with our mail person that could make matters better. Just to see if my mail would be safe some what. She just looked and with a disrespectful tone “YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME “ I am working for 34 years. and walk toward the mail van. It is shame that these are the kind of behavior we encountered as the general public. Shame on you usps.

Buggy and not worth having. Until recently, I used this app weekly if not daily for tracking packages or mail. I used it for other helpful things that helped me avoid needing to go to the post office since the closest one is nearly 20 miles away due to rural life. Anyway, after it started showing broken links on every screen and multiple times for some things, I gave up on it. Then it said there was a bug fix for iOS so I downloaded it again but it’s the same story. I’ll just use the desktop site or the regular internet browser app instead of going through the hassles… going to the PO means a minimum of 30 minutes of waiting in line with impatient customers complaining about the wait and understandably grumpy desk clerks…so between the app not working, hiccups on the website, and the subpar in-person experience, I’ve had to use other delivery methods and the small business I work for has had to do the same. The app needs lots of help and if it were working well, could use some extra abilities to retain customers since other avenues aren’t stellar means either.

Why bother with a mail hold option?. I loved this app until I needed the mail hold option. I thought I was SO smart doing an online mail hold. I even had a confirmation. We were leaving town for close to 3 weeks and I really needed my mail held. Well, despite a confirmation number and a visual confirmation on the app, my mail was delivered the entire time we were away. I called THREE times and spoke to people in the main USPS office as well as my local office and it was STILL delivered (with an improper hold date on the form manually entered by the USPS rep). I was told that the best way to hold mail for future is to come into the post office and fill out a form so there would be a paper trail. Seriously?!?! Why bother having it on the app and website if it is not the proper way to have your mail held? I am writing this in hopes that the USPS gets their act together and fixes this AND so anyone else using this app for a mail hold will rethink it. I am thankful to my amazing friends and neighbors who checked on my house and mailbox to make sure it wasn’t glaringly obvious we were away for an extended time.

Very mad and disgusted about how my mail is delivered.. The massively overweight lady that delivers my mail seems to always for some reason never ever do my requests as far as delivering my mail. She always tries her best slam jam my mailbox with stuff that doesn't fit and she just forces it to fit ruining the packages and makes it very hard to get my package as well. If the package don't fit don't force it in the mailbox put it on the bottom and if it don't fit there then do as I say and just put it on my porch behind the bushes I will see it if it's hidden behind the bush. Now if u wanna hide behind the pillar that's fine too but don't force my package somewhere where the package is hard to get out and it will be ruined. That should go for not just my packages but everybody's packages. We like our packages delivered in good shape like Mr. MCFEELY USE TO DO FOR Mister Rogers back in the day. We don't want our packages ruined by forcing or trying to fit it somewhere it can't thank u.

Reliable, Consistent, Convenient. This USPS app is one of my favorites. If you place orders or shop online, this app is a must! Track your postal deliveries from the time they’re shipped out to the time they arrive at your door. Don’t allow bags or boxes to linger in your mailbox or on your porch to tempt would be thieves. Receive a text the moment they arrive at your home! That’s amazing! Plus, through tracking, you’re sent a text or email notification telling you the day and time range to expect each package. (I supplement mine with the Route app which shows me photos of my orders with the tracking number. Not affiliated!) This USPS app will also send email notifications of each piece of paper mail you’re receiving daily in case you’re looking for an important check, letter, or bill. You can schedule package pick up, order boxes, stamps, etc. It’s free and well worth the download. Fantastic app!

Updating issue. When one types in a Tracking Number, and selects enter, then selects item, selects “Edit Name”, gives package a name, returns back to the list of packages one is Tracking, the User MUST go back to USPS app’s Home Page, then select Track Packages in order to see the edited Number in order to see the chosen name that was selected for that package. It may seem petty, but it is possible to program the application to alleviate the two extra steps. Also, the app does NOT take the Name, and one must complete the process over again. By the way, I am using an iPhone 12 Plus Pro Max iOS system to navigate through the USPS application. I also do keep my iOS device up to date with the most current version of Software.

The most recent update transfers you to your browser app. Recently the USPS app began showing a pop-up message when selecting tracking numbers from the “Track” screen of the app. This pop-up mentioned that I would be redirected to my web browser app, but it only opened up the next page in the USPS app with my selected tracking info. So while the pop-up was a little annoying, it was otherwise harmless. Unfortunately, the most recent update seems to have made this redirection notice carry through with its warning. Now it forces a switch to my web browser app (not the browser that can appear within an app) for the selected tracking info on USPS’s website. I can no longer access the individual package’s tracking info screen, which includes the ability to rename the package for organization. I hope this is fixed soon. Other than the not-so-smooth experience from having to sift through pop-up windows, I miss being able to name my package 😕

What a pain to use. Simple tracking tasks are fine, but try and manage a PO Box. No where in the app. Instead users get redirected to the website, which is also difficult to use. The first thing presented to me when tapping to manage my PO Box, is the sign ups for new PO Boxes. Way on the bottom, is manage. I suppose they must have a lot of new customers? The user interface is confusing and frustrating. Have to keep looking for things to complete simple tasks, like managing PO Boxes, updating payment info, placing a Hold on Mail. Person designing the user experience must not be using the app. What the? Why are you sending me a confirmation email to hold mail with my full address and the hold dates displayed? Emails aren’t a secure form of communication so protect my data please! Have a secure message center and email me that there’s a message for me would be more protective.

Great app. Enhancements to think about. I use this app a lot to status incoming packages and schedule runs to the post office to pick them up. It would be really helpful to know a little more about each package. If package weight could be included, it would help with determining who should go pick it up. If addressee can be included, that would be useful, too. Recent changes to statuses are way less useful, particularly things like “moving through network”, which seems to have replaced more useful ones that made it easier to know if a package is at the nearest distribution hub. I’m guessing that isn’t the app developer’s change, but something pulled from the post office database. Still, it’s a bummer for the users of this app.

I want the old Informed Delivery back!!!. Although this app contains Informed Delivery as well as some other things that I do not use or need, it is a serious headache. It does not allow me to stay logged in. Every single time I open it, even if it hasn’t been very long, I have to go through a multi-click login process. Often it gives the message that my session is about to expire, but when I push extend, it does not work. At that point, it is necessary to click log out. Then I get the pleasure of waiting five seconds for them to redirect me to the main page. Then I get to go through the log in process again. Once I’m on the page with my deliveries, there is a big chat balloon that I can’t figure out how to get rid of, and it’s there even when chat is closed. One time I tried to use it, and no one ever answered. To be fair, I did only give them 10 minutes, so maybe I was hasty in closing chat. I tried emailing customer service a couple weeks ago, and I never received a reply. I had expected “new and improved” when they said they were closing Informed Delivery. Instead, it is the same app with a few headaches added. Gotta love the government…

Needs major improvement. I’ve been using this app for years and it has its flaws, regardless of my having the latest version. It can’t seem to handle tracking more than one package at a time, while older versions of the app could. Even when I type in a new tracking number, it will still only bring up the previous package. It often has incorrect information. For example, I was tracking a package that said it would be delivered on a Saturday by 8:00pm. I received an alert that it was going to be delayed; no reason was given, nor was an estimated date/time. I continued to get this error for 5 days. I knew from past experience that you need to wait a full week before you can file a complaint. Finally, late on the 5th day, I got a msg saying the package HAD been delivered on the original day at 2:15pm. Why the app wasn’t updated in a timely manner I’m not sure. That’s the government for you!

USPS IS THE WORST. Ok I’ve never had good experience with usps. Unfortunately it is the only way I can receive some of my packages. The tracking is decent but the customer support is probably the worst I’ve ever had to deal with is you can even get it. The expected delivery is always wrong. I have to base it off of where my package is actually located and not the “expected delivery date”. My current package Delivery is what brought me to write this review. My package got to my local post office at 12:31pm Saturday. The mail women obviously already started her route so didn’t have my package. The tracking changed from expected deliver on Saturday July 28th to SUNDAY THE 29th?? Why would it even be updated to the only day of the week usps doesn’t deliver? So for fun I check the tracking the morning of the 29th to find a message saying “attempted deliver. Package left at post office by request of customer”. I’m just wondering when this package was attempted to me delivered since I was home to get my mail and I never requested it to be left at the post office. Overall they are fine for delivering mail but if available UPS is my number one choice for packages. Again their customer support doesn’t exist.

Not as bad as I thought, here is something to know. It appears that what USPS really wants is for you to use “informed delivery” you can access it in the app without being taken to the internet. It’s actually better than entering each of your tracking numbers manually. When you receive a tracking number from a vendor wait 24 hours go into your informed delivery account and it should be there. You can then give it a nickname as well. You will see most things coming to you via USPS especially all packages. I’m giving it 4 stars because they really need to let people know to sign up for informed delivery in order to use the app for package tracking. When I understood what they were doing, everything got much simpler.

Great Job. Fantastic App! Really smooth and well thought-out. A genuine iOS app, not a rubbish web app portal! Well done USPS👍

Fantastic App. What a wonderful, fantastic app very user friendly and very effective too. (-: I highly recommend it to anyone for the daily postage needs.

Useless.. Location of parcel not up to date. Ive tried tracking numerous items, and always receive the goods before the app shows that they've left the point of origin. Don't bother.

App crashes. I couldn't use the latest version of this app, keeps crashing every time I open it.

Unreliable or non existent tracking. Tracking is a major issue and either never shows up or is completely wrong. Also shipping can take anywhere up to 6 months on average pre covid and covid times. I do not recommend this shipping company unless you like a good mystery…

New version works great. The new version is great and sends updates via email, sometimes several times a day if it has moved a lot.

Package. Totally lost my package. It was a really important one. Cannot get any support except from my post office. 21st December it was posted. They also have lost a series of others all about the same time

Can’t create a label. I accidentally left something in a hotel while on holiday in the US and the hotel won’t send my lost property to me unless I print a postal label but the for won’t open. I have tried for weeks. I have tried creating different accounts, used different devices still won’t work. I have logged a support call with USPS but not heard back ☹️.

Poor service. My freight has traveled the world and I still don’t have it.

Hahahahaha. You know if It was government subsidized it would have been over already.

Used to be good. I’ve been using the app for about 12 months now and was very happy with it… until recently. Now there is an annoying pop up and when you click ok to clear it, it takes you to the website. If you click cancel to clear it, you cannot select your tracking to check updates. It needs to be fixed, the app cannot be used anymore. It is not functioning. Feeling disappointed.

International tracking what's wrong. Unfortunately I need this app to track goods ordered from the states. It seems when the item leaves USA the USPS looses interest in its customers. We are paying the merchant a fee to have it mailed and my current experience is mailed on 6 march 2014 and last update 9 march 2014 - it's now 18 march 2014 and mo updates nor package in the mail. Seems to be lost at sea as it couldn't be air mail. So sad.

Was a great app. Now the question I have is what’s the point of having an app if you have to go to the website anyway for tracking updates 🤷🏼‍♀️

Australia. For mail overseas absolutely brilliant thank you team

Parcel. Still waiting for my parcel and it’s been 2-3 months

Excellent!!!. Best app to track your USPS Parcels! Up to date information as well as on the website only simpler!!! Recommended to online buyers!!! A fast and excellent way to track your Packages!

Kilograms coversion. This app is in pounds. It should have a conversion opportunity for other non us countries who are getting prices but need metric

Waiting. Waiting, waiting, waiting!!!! Ffs!!

How?. How can one company can be so bad at customer service, website and app… how can all these things be so useless and broken?

Worst mail delivery service around. Poor tracking Info. Very very slow

Update has ruined this app. This latest version will kill off this app. You can’t track an item and get a result, nor can you save a tracked item. Useless! Also all attempts at providing feedback have been palmed off by the Care Center... obviously no humans work there. Sad.

Rubbish. This is one of the worst functioning apps i have ever attempted to use. pick up your game usps !!

Not good. Worked great at first but now dosnt show location of item untill after its already been deliverd.. Needs sum serious updates i think

Useless. This app is absolutely useless for tracking overseas mail like USPS!!

Doesn't work. Tracking numbers that work on the website and are in progress show up as "no tracking information found". Maybe application isn't connected to UPS database properly.

Lousy app. Takes ages to load and ages to accept scans

Review is yet to come. This App Review is in the works & is yet to come as I have Only started to use it but I Only have limited access to it since I live outside of the USA where I live in Australia

No tracking. They apparently don’t have time to scan tracking numbers so you never know where the package is along the way.

Tracking not showing in app. Full Tracking no longer shows in the mobile app! It opens up in a browser now. The ability to edit package names is not available anymore either. Time consuming and useless now! FIX THIS BUG!!!!! Been like this for months and there is no good way to contact USPS about this issue!

Great Tracking Features!. Being able to set up automatic notifications is a terrific feature! No need to keep randomly checking. Receive notifications to your phone of any update to the tracking status, including delivery. Contact a neighbour to pick up your parcel before the porch-pirates arrive to steal it.

Doesn’t work. This app is awful and doesn’t work half the time. I can’t even label my shipments like I used to be able to do. And every click takes you off the app and onto usps.com.

garbage interface. I'm not even sure why this app exists. It appears from the poor interface, that this is a website mashed into an app. The responsiveness is poor, the app interface doesn't seem to blend well with the Apple interface. Example. Seems quite difficult to select a track number from my list of track number.

USPS Mobile. Just got it, works great, I don't have to go to safari and keep refreshing the usps page for an update on my shipment anymore, plus I can name my shipments to keep track of them. To those who said this is a useless app in the canadian app store: some of us have buisness abroad so don't be so ignorant.

19 days and counting. My parcel was shipped in NY to Toronto a 3 day journey. It has sat at the Kennedy airport for 19 days and still counting! Not impressed. I could have driven down and picked up in 1 day. Strongly do NOT recommend this service!!

newest version (April 4) doesn't work. can't delete/view details on anything I'm tracking.

Don’t use if your in Canada. This app is just like every other shipping app it’s good but I bought a hard drive from Amazon and it’s getting shipped by usps and I have to WAIT 11 TO 22 DAY to get a hard drive. LIKE WHAT AND TO MAKE IT EVEN BETTER THEY DONT EVEN GIVE YOU A GUARANTEED DATE. Now I have to build my new pc without the hard drive so I can’t even install any games because my ssd only has 240gb because it was supposed to be for the software and one game.

What’s With The Redirect Notification. This app was good. Until Every Single Time I Open it to add a package tracking number I get a redirect notice and I can’t even add the tracking number or I can add it but I can’t rename it and I still get redirected. Why is this happening. This needs to get fixed. (This app gets no stars)

Lost package. This app fucking sucks! Can’t call anyone either to ask them anything, it’s fucking useless!

Useless. Completely useless app just redirects to website

App Redirects To Site. What is the use of this app if the users are redirected to the site when looking at Tracking Numbers? Unless this bug is fixed, I’ll be deleting it for the time being.

Horrible user interface. I don’t even know which words to use. The user interred is awful, ugly.

International tracking - Good Luck. The automated phone system does not provide any mechanism to track delivery beyond the US border. Terrible system.

Always wants to redirect you. Can’t even add a note to the tracking number now. Even launching the app triggers a notice that redirection to an external site is going to occur. Brutal.

To the naysayers. This works great! No crashes, and valuable info. For those Canadians that say it is useless, think before you speak. You obviously have never ordered anything from the US and had it shipped priority international USPS which often is the cheapest and fastest way to get things here. Once it crosses the border and clears customs, items get handed off to Canada Post for final delivery. Also good info if you have relatives in the US and want to find a location near them for shooing purposes. Don't knock USPS until you try it!

Broken app still redirects to website. Despite the supposed “Fix for the broken locations re-direct on iOS” posted in November 2021, the USPS app is still broken with the same issue. As of the time this review was posted, it’s been seven months without an update. Instead of being able to check on details for or add names to tracked packages within the app, you get a pop-up alert that you’re about to leave the app and are being redirected to the USPS site on a separate browser. Until this ongoing issue is fixed, there’s simply no reason to have this app. Deleted.

No point in having an app. What is the point of having an app when it sends you to the website to track?

Waiting too long for my package. I paid 130$ for delivery and still didn’t get my package, it’s 3 weeks already

Buggy as heck. Even just opening the app and selecting the first big button for package tracking pops up a big warning saying: “Alert! You are now leaving the USPS® app. Once you leave, you will fall under the policies and procedures of the web site you have chosen to visit. Thanks for using our app; please come again soon.” Of course I never actually left the app at all.

I shouldn't have updated. It seems like whenever I update, things get worse. Wishing there was an Undo button I Can't add tracking. Can't delete past tracking numbers. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Meh. If you're a My USPS user, all the app does is open a link to the website. I haven't really tried it other than that.

Angry. I do not like this app. (Scroll down to skip most of my venting about not receiving my package for so long) For some reason on the website it says that my package has been picked up but acceptance is pending. I’ve ordered that package back in November. I don’t know if because of COVID it’s that late but I bought the same thing from the same seller a few days ago but from a different shipper and it’s coming to me on the 6th. Now but enough of the venting about how late this is but this app doesn’t even let me track. I thought that maybe the website is glitching and I downloaded the app. The app says that I’m already tracking this package and I’m so frustrated right now. I expected it to come before Christmas but I’m doubting it now. Yes I tried even using the app to email them but it says that I’m international and that is true. But when I click the link it says link unavailable and I just get so frustrated. Now this is probably mostly about my package being so late but I have more reasons about the app. Sometimes the app doesn’t even load. Like I can’t access it at all even if it doesn’t even let me do anything on it. On top of that I have to click so may things just to get to a spot that I need. To be completely honest with you I would try to just stick to the website even if half of the time it doesn’t even work properly. But I feel like the app is just a waste of storage and it’s more frustrating then the website.

Not Happy. I ordered a item on June 3/23. I have not received it as of today Sunday June 11/23. If I don’t want it I only have a certain amount of time left before I can’t send it back if I don’t want it. I already got screwed over from my last order. I will NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. They rip people off. On my last order I am out $152.00 because they won’t take it back. I am going to report to the Better Business Bureau for this company. This is what happens to a honest person who literally trusts a company who is dishonest.

Acknowledgments. Thanks a lot Five years and more than 1000 parcels delivered without any problem It’s very rare in this times Accuracy , seriousness and keenness in the work in all the states l sent to them and not in one state It’s very comfortable to me when l send to US because USPS will deliver the parcel carefully Thanks BR Samer Loubani

No longer works as intended.. Just like the other reviews, what’s the point of having the app if it just send you to the website to track? Previous versions of this app allowed you to see the tracking history and everything without directing you to use the website. Disappointing as this is the only app that does this, no other tracking app does this at all.

No help at all. It’s been stuck on December 22, 2019 for over a week no notification of what happened to my package it was a Christmas present now it is January the 5

Finally running right. The app can finally scan international bar codes! Yes!!! after so many dam years!

Tracking. No connection after it reaches Canada. Surely it can be arranged. It takes long enough that it would helpful to have an idea when and were my package is and be delivered

So Easy..... Great app so easy to use.

What’s the point of this app?. So the new update is awful. It just links to the website. What is the point? You copy the tracking number from you web browser and it copies it to the app and then the app takes you back to the website. Absolute garbage

International to Canada. USPS tracking is superior to Canada Post

Not keeping us informed..... Not happy not knowing where our parcels are. Paid a lot of money for shipping and was told it would be 6 to 10 days and still nothing after 17 days Last notification was on the June 6th. Not Happy!!!!!

Would give 0 stars if I could.. Tracking is absolute crap and Hardly works for me, if something gets held briefly in customs after that there’s no tracking.

App works good but stop directing us to browser. I hate the fact that I can longer see my tracking details without having to open a stupid browser.so annoying!

Garbage, must be fake reviews. This app is complete trash. The design is 2014. Not only that you have to click 85 different areas of the screen to load the tracking info. We all know USPS is complete junk but this just makes it even worse.

Waste of space. What’s the point of this app if it sends me to the website all the time to check tracking progress?

Pretty reliable. No glitches. Picks up most of the packages I am receiving. Haven’t used it for anything but tracking.

Professional. People often take what these folks do for granted - but the professional performance of the us postal service is over and above

Alert - Leaving USPS app?. “Alert” “You are now leaving the USPS app” What is going on?

Lost package.. I ordered a product on December 1, 2020 in the USA and still have not received it. I live in Canada (Quebec) and the information I receive with the no. (LZ211078664US) of Tracking is that my package would be delivered to Germany. No way to have any information with the mobile application or others. Very disappointed with the service from USPS. A longer delay is understandable due to COVID-19 but not that the package is delivered to Germany rather than Canada. If you can help me that would be much appreciated. Thank you. Michel

Super facille. Bon apps fonctionne bien

App broken. This app used to work well. Now all it does is redirect you to the website on your browser. This was a bug that was supposedly fixed, but it appears not. App is useless until that’s fixed, easier to keep your tracking open in safari.

Useless. App is useless. It redirects you to a browser to see the tracking history instead of showing it in the app itself. Then you exit the app and never get to use it at all.

Needful. Very needful app.

Worst Carrier Ever. I have never seen a worse postal company in my life than USPS!

Does not track anything.. App just opens up browser to the website for tracking. This is a useless app.

Way to mess up a perfectly good app!. Cannot view any tracking details, cannot save tracking, cannot delete past tracking numbers, have to input tracking numbers twice to get anything to happen.

Became useless. Was a great tool for tracking but now every single time look at tracking k get a message saying I am Leaving the USPS app and now takes me to a web browser. Why bother with this app.

USPS. Day in and day out the United States Postal service has delivered my mail for my long life of 63 years at this point . I have had bills delivered late , payments delivered late , occasionally , not very often. The United States Postal service, who delivers much more mail than just mine , has mostly delivered 99% of the time. I think people take mail service for granted and don’t give the service their due respect, only complaining when something, occasionally, goes wrong. My hats off to the fabulous service we all get regularly from these hard working people in all conditions and weather. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.❤️🧡💚🤍💛💙💜

Great app; just missing a few things.. I downloaded this app mostly for the clock and ship aspect. While that works as advertised, there are a few things that could be better. *Automated email notifications. There should be a way to enter the recipient’s email address as well, so that individual is alerted when the tracking number has been officially entered by the post office. *An easier way to add a new ship from address/select ship from addresses. I have a PO Box but if I forget to set it manually, it defaults to my home address. *The overall look. The aesthetics and UI could use an upgrade, but that that’s just not-picking. Overall a really decent app that does what it needs to do - it could just do a little more :)

I am logged out automatically from the App. I use it, its great, but for not remaining logged in (on my personal secured device) a waste of my time, rendering the App useless (except for text notices, but repeatedly asked to log back in after I automatically was logged out by you, so why should I bother clicking on a text link you sent when it only leads me once again to log back in, again and again and again — very time consuming, why offer its a friendly user app when it is not — first let people know that it clearly has these types of limitations from the very start — causing less frustrating expectations, and creating a less angry public, thank you.

It seems that USPS is no longer supporting the app. They say they have fixed the “re-direct” issue. They have not. The functions that have disappeared: 1) Ability to track a package within the App. Now the app re-directs the user to the USPS website. What a waste of time. 2) Ability to attach a name to the package These seem like simple functionality and not to hard to update and support. Maybe this is part of the federal restructuring of USPS. I don’t know why they would abandon it. Every other courier has an app that allows the customer to track their items in app. To remain competitive, USPS needs to keep up technologically. I reached out to USPS about the problem a few months ago. They just sent me on a wild goose chase and never addressed the issue. I would have been less frustrated if they had just told me that they have no plans (or funding?) to fix the app. Badly done.

So far no packages showing. I’ve been using it for well over a month now and find it pretty useful showing me what is arriving in a pretty inconvenient to access mailbox (have to pull over, get out in the dark, unlock for access community box bank) and it’s nice to know when I can skip a day or two. I order stuff from eBay that comes USPS Priority or First Class and haven’t seen on of those yet and there’s been over a dozen that should’ve appeared on the app. Maybe that was one of the sorting machines that evil Postmaster Louis DeJoy junked, too bad Biden can’t fire him, but Lou, you really should quit nobody enjoys your actions customers or workers who work very hard and you made it harder.

Tracking a package is awful.. USPS could definitely learn a thing or 12 from UPS about tracking a package. You don’t get regular updates and the updates you do get are usually delayed by an hour to several hours. It’s made even worse when a package is handed off from UPS. UPS does great to track a package, but if it’s been handed off to USPS, it’s anybody’s guess as to where the package actually is and where it has been. Today, my package was delivered around 1 PM. I didn’t get a notification of delivery until 8:30 PM. Currently, I’m waiting on a package which was taken to the post office and was checked in three days ago. It has been in Virginia since then and the app tells me it will be delivered tomorrow. I am in the middle of the US. I don’t know how they’re going to have it delivered tomorrow if it is still in Virginia. Or is it…? For a company which delivers mail to almost every single house in America, every day, they sure have no clue how to keep track of a package.

Stolen Package. Unfortunately had to write this probably that way some pay more attention, March 15 I went to post office and was told by the retailer which in this case is ATT to drop a package whit a tablet inside returned to the that way thru ATT warehouse , that tablet never show up anywhere apparently go stolen but no one from the post office had done nothing about , went to the place where I dropped and I was told that had to wait longer in order that some can start a complaint or follow up which is 1000% so incorrect , and the worst part that Im still responsible for that tablet att is looking into which as well its another bad part of the equation , my problem whit this all my family and friends will get to learn not to do buss whit USPS they steal your stuff and not control over this so sad to know that those that supposed to take care your stuff you can not trust them to me they should follow up and see who is this thief

Preferred the informed delivery app!. So this app is good because it has a wider variety of selections and things that you can do, but for simply tracking packages and your mail, you could not be the informed delivery app. Really, really sad to see it go. I live in downtown Seattle where there is a high rate of package and mail theft because USPS leaves packages in the stairwell of my apartment building, right in front of the mailboxes where everybody walking through the front door can see them and pick and choose which ones they want. With the informed delivery app I was better able to keep close tabs on what was coming and win. Now I have to struggle through this huge app with multiple selections to do the one simple thing informed delivery did so well

Tracking Not Worth It Anymore. I use the app, specifically the package tracking, daily. With the latest update they moved the package tracking from being a part of the app to just a web portal. Now I can't put labels on tracking numbers I'm watching to know what package I'm actually looking at. Even worse there's repetitive pop-ups whenever you tap anything in the tracking screen with some legal script that could have just been handled with one pop-up or even a couple lines in the Terms of Service. The Postal Service needs to roll back these changes immediately. If they want to actually improve this app for the average customer move Informed Delivery fully into the app and link it up with the saved tracking numbers. It's tedious to have to manage redundant tracking lists between Informed Delivery and the tracking feature.

Remember Me?. I’ve used Informed Delivery since its inception, as well as the Informed Delivery app (a separate app from the USPS app). As the Informed Delivery app will be discontinued effective June 12, 2021 I’ll now have to use the USPS app to access the Informed Delivery function. That’s all good and well, but I’m hoping the developers will consider adding the “Remember Me” option so I don’t have to enter my Login and password every time I need to login. It’s sort of a pain. I live on the 3rd floor in an apartment building and so I use the Informed Delivery app/function on a daily basis. I just don’t feel like I need to enter my Login and password every day though. I hope this will be fixed on the next update. Thanks!

Scan mail. I really enjoy this feature I got it because I still have people who pay me by check but the day I needed to get the check scanned so I knew it was coming did not happen on May 3rd 1 piece of mail was scanned I received 6 and the check was what I was looking for to Uber rot. I went to my local post office to ask for help and she explained there’s no one that can help me that it’s just a machine scanning the mail from my technological experience somehow this machine was programmed by a human and I was trying to ask csn this peyhelp all mail to get scammed if not it’s useless to me to have informed mail I need to know all mail is coming

Very please knowing you can report you didn’t receive your mail in app. I have had this app for a month now every mail shown to me through USPS postal has been accurate ... recently I had to go talk to mail carrier about I didn’t get my mail on this app .... the person responded the app always not right ... I let the carrier know I have been getting my mail correctly that is showing on this app ....I had 7 mail coming and three were put in my mail box that was not mines ... the carrier drove back to my area and took my mail from another mail post ... USPS please continue to keep our mail safe ... thank you

Bugs “fixed” 6 months ago?. Not sure what those bugs were, but a new one was added. I cannot stand the pop up “alert” when I simply go to track packages using the app that tells me “you are now leaving the USPS app.” This did not used to happen, and it certainly doesn’t make you leave the app. What good would an app be if it just simply made you open a web browser anyway? I don’t think this should even be an alert for any reason, but the fact that it pops up EVERY time and blocks the screen until you tap OK seems like a simple fix that some brilliant developer should have noticed by now. Hint hint?

Driver stopped delivering my mail w/o request. USP never provided an answer to my mail being held for no reason and writing no forwarding address…I want to know why driver did this on her own before she had surgery and went out on leave?? I will not stop as this is the 2nd time this has been done. Where is marker on mailbox post indicating backyard Mail Drop?? This was never replaced from the first time by this same female route driver. The male that has filled in for her found the mail and has never missed a day of delivery !! I did file a damage claim when the female driver drove into my grass and did damage when there is a keep off grass sign posted plus proof by a delivery driver on my property making a delivery to me. I want justice..when will that happen??

Non- organization. I receive notices telling me that a package cannot be delivered (after a previous notice saying my package will arrive today), due to an error with my address. There’s always packages that arrive to this address almost on a daily without issue. I don’t even get a call from a delivery person from any company, asking for help with the address. Because there’s never a n issue. So something needs to be done about sending false messages saying a package has been delivered, or not delivered because address cannot be accessed, or there was an attempt of delivery….. When mail (anything that fits in the mailbox) is delivered there usually isn’t a problem. And therefore the Post Office has been doing a great job, in that regard.

Now make it work on iPads. I was just informed by the USPS’s Informed Delivery app that the USPS is shutting it down in summer 2021 as the functionality has moved to this app. That’s fine, but Informed Delivery is a universal app that runs nicely on my iPad as well as on an iPhone, while this app is designed for iPhone only (yes, you can run it squished on the iPad screen, but it shows no more info than on the iPhone). Please make this app work properly on both iPhones and iPads. I use Informed Delivery on my iPad every day to see what is inbound and check on packages, and it’s been extremely helpful while working from home and staying away from stores for the past year. I’m frustrated to learn that the USPS is intentionally downgrading the experience by making it iPhone only, in the process of moving it into this app.

Keeps redirecting. I used this app constantly to track packages I sent and packages I’m receiving, and prior to that I used it for click and ship. But for the last month+ I’ve been getting redirect notices to my browser for both things that never used to go out of the app. I can’t rename the packages to keep track of what they are anymore, since tapping on one takes me to the browser. Even just tapping on track packages tries to give me a redirect but I can hit cancel on that one. None of the other ones work when I cancel them though, they just don’t do anything like I cancelled my tap instead of canceling the redirect. I see the latest version of this app says they fixed the redirects but I definitely still have them!

New Update Ruined Everything. I have used this app for a very long time and it was extremely helpful as i have so many deliveries daily. Now when i click the tracking number it prompts me to click or cancel and accepting directs me to safari to USPS website. I always name my deliveries to know which tracking number goes to what shipment that it will actually be for. Now there is no way to name my tracking numbers as before being directed away from the app that was extremely helpful and necessary for me. So developer what good is the app for now. Anyone can search the USPS site independently if we wanted to which we do not why we got this app. So the fix bugs update destroyed it. How about fixing it. Since USPS is more a shipping business these days and we support with a large amount of our dollars we deserve better service please than this.

Awesome. Convenient and useful tool. At least for us the USPS system and App is an awesome tool. Today, it is necessary to have information to provide a level of control. This App and features are good for exercising control with postal events - a 6day/wk event. I know what mail is coming. I can package, pay and arrange a pick up of items - from home. We keep a good relationship with our mail person = All provides a bit less of random events that is subj. to 24x / month. Pro-activity via convenient controls means less time waisted reacting to events. Result: quality & satisfaction - I should know as an aerospace quality director.

Well, it was a good app.. USPS mobile used to be a great app. I primarily used it for tracking packages. They rarely update the app though, which has led to issues for a long time now. When in the track tab, tapping update at the bottom does nothing. It just says updating forever. Also, when you tap the track tab on the home page it now warns you that your leaving the app. Why? It never had to do that before. The next issue is that when you tap a tracking number to bring up it’s individual page it now takes you to the internet page of the package instead of just opening the page in the app. Again, why? Lastly you can no longer edit the tracking number and give your package a name. When tracking multiple packages this really helps. I used to really like using this app, now it’s dreadful.

No permissions?. This app has been wonderful in keeping track of my packages. Until today. I have previously loaded all my tracking numbers into the track portion of the app. As of today, unless I delete and redownload the app each time I want to check the tracking, I am met with an error that states “ You do not have permission to access this page If you have found this page in error, please contact support Reference:” Unfortunately, when you delete the app and redownload it, all of the tracking information is deleted and needs to be input again… Is there any update on a fix for this? Additionally, where do I find the “support” referenced in the error? Is there a human I can speak with? An email address? Phone number? The app doesn’t have a support icon. Thanks.

Great app, love Informed Delivery!. I use it several times a week mostly to see if I need to make a trip to my mailbox. The only improvements I can think of would be easier sign in (like either face ID or just remaining logged into the app). It’s a pain to have to type in user & PW every time. And i have looked all over the app and can’t find a way to enable this. The other improvement would be please give the option of dark mode! Blindingly white apps kill my eyes, and most apps have the tiny gray font on the white background😣😡This literally makes me squint. Yes, I do have sensitivity to light but the option for dark mode, I think, would help a lot of people.

Need to be able to for 5 star. As older people ( large font settings) or phone apps only users ( so different web browsers settings for mobile) 1) Needs to be able to notate if delivery received as stated... lost, stolen, etc 2) if delivery person placed other that noted or as instructions directed. 3) To be able to do so immediately on that delivery’s tracking would be easier than trying to file complaints or other issues somewhere else in app. As you cannot always get app to show/scroll to submit button, so forced to call. 4) Not all packages show in tracking especially if handed off to USPS from other companies such as Fedex, UPS etc or originated from out of country or overseas. Showing this especially since USPS assigns a new tracking number other than originated company or country.

TOTAL DISGRACE!. In the App Store it shows screenshots of what USPS app looks like. Download it and you’ll see that what it shows in those screenshots is not what you get in the app! Where is “MY UPS” in the app? If it was available I would have tried to submit my renewal fee through the app because on the website it doesn’t work. Your website is a mess. Since years I can never submit my renewal fees online. When I get to the page where payment information needs to be entered, nothing can be typed in those boxes. NOTHING. And that’s where it stops! I call customer service I get transferred around only to hear idiotic explanations or I call the post office and speak with your staff, they don’t have an answer, they tell me they’ll look into it and never call me back. Fire your incompetent personnel and hire new one, willing to work! The old employees seem to have settled a bit to comfortable in their cushy job!

Hold Mail Issue. One of the best features of this app is the Hold Mail feature. It’s very convenient to select the dates I will be out of town and request a hold mail, especially because I travel often. I’ve even forgotten until the day I’ve left on my trip, quickly opened the app, and successfully put in the dates to have my mail held. It all worked perfectly, until it didn’t. Now, when I “check availability” for my address, I receive an “error” message. It doesn’t say that my address isn’t eligible, it just says “error”. I have reached out and asked for help, but the problem hasn’t been solved. Now, in order to have my mail held, I have to go to the post office and fill out a form, or call an automated system and have it arranged. I miss the convenience of using the app. Very disappointing that I’ve lost this service.

Forward Mail. I started one month ago tomorrow the process of getting my mail forwarded from my old address to my new. It was state to state transfer and it’s awful. First, google, says my official dress is an Avenue and it’s a road. First hurdle had to redo address change over. Did that signed up for everything and still no mail. I’ve been to my local post office who has been very helpful and they told me just be patient. It’s a Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh gets a lot of mail I guess and sent out to a lot of other areas. The process that they say it should take 7 to 10 days once it’s implemented could really take a month. So here I said patiently waiting for paperwork. I need an every day Get disappointed by your forwarding process.

Helpful. It would be really helpful to have this app if it was always accurate. Sometimes it isn’t worth having, but most of the time it is. It’s just you never really know for sure if it’s working that day so you have to check your mailbox every day anyway. This winter is not going to be fun because I have a long driveway and it would be nice to know if I didn’t have mail so I wouldn’t have to walk all the way out there for nothing. One day the app said I had 3 pieces of mail and there wasn’t any and another day I got one piece of mail but the app said I had 0. Also. I’ve been hearing that one of my neighbors had some mail stolen, so we really need this to be more dependable. Thanks!

Life made easier. Informed delivery is a must for everybody. I am amazed the Postal Service will go the extra mile in doing this. Whenever I have mail coming to my box, I am emailed by the post office with a picture of the envelope that should be in my box. It is a beautiful thing. There have been times when I would second-guess myself thinking I should’ve gotten that letter by now, there has also been times when I have been told a letter was sent to me a month ago but informed delivery showed me it was sent yesterday. It’s a must have, not that I want to know what kind of junk mail comes to my mailbox but they send me that too, as well as packages. It’s wonderful.

Removed ability to add name to tracked items. I’ve used this app for years to track the large number of mail order items I purchase. Unfortunately they recently removed the ability to add a name to the meaningless to me list of numbers. Now I might know I have something being delivered and when but no longer know what it is without going to a different app to look it up and match the tracking number to the items I purchased. They removed a very useful part of the app that I’ve relied on for years to identify what is coming in and when. Isn’t the point of developing apps to make them better, not make them useless by taking away useful functionality?

Poor on-line reliability. Difficult to understand even when it’s working, which is never for long!. Tried to bring up a prior international address from my address book . Failing that I created a new address for a shipment to my wife on assignment in a Taiwan. When I was finished creating it I attempted to create a mailing label for the $106 dollar package. System said it could printed at that time to try again later. Checked the covid list for countries where packages could not be sent and Taiwan was not one of them. Tried several times to ship the package to no avail. On the last visit the package was again gone. It never entered the history so all the work so had done to enter the address was wasted. It’s never worthwhile to ship anything using USPS sites. If I calculated the cost of my time, I usually could have save money using the most expensive service available.

Satisfied Postal Customer. Everybody in business has to go digital all the way. Over the years the USPS has come up to par; I just wish the Postal Service had done it sooner, because the tracking feature now available and the entire USPS “eco-system” is fully customer-centric. Congress needs to support the Service because it’s a vital national resource; perhaps new means to monetize can become part of its business model. In any event, terrorism prevention as possible through the Postal Service, for example, deserves ongoing subsidies. For me the United States Postal Service meets my mailing needs very well. Thank you to all postal workers, especially in these difficult pandemic times!

Love but….. I’ve been using this app for a few years now and absolutely loved it. It was easy to track my many packages and was able to replace the tracking number with the name of the item making it easy to know which item was being delivered since I had multiple orders placed at the same time. The past few months I’ve been real annoyed because the “ALERT”pop-up warning you’re leaving the able is tedious headache AND my other issue (which is my main issue) is I can no longer replace the tracking number with the item being delivered. PLEASE either go back to the old way or fix this headache you’ve created so I can go back to giving this app 5⭐️’s. Don’t fix what’s not broke.

Bring Back Informed Delivery. After the Informed Delivery app was removed from the App Store, I absolutely hated using the USPS Mobile app since there really was no point anymore. I hate that to get to Informed Delivery, you have to be taken to a new window and login there and it makes you log in again if you go to a diff selection in the app or close the app for a moment. I’ve since deleted the app and have stopped keep track with my packages except thru the store’s app. It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have to constantly log into a new window to get to informed delivery but I don’t use any of the other options on this app.

Difficult to use. Tried to remediate a mail forwarding problem for mail that that was not being forwarded to the address I had requested to be forward temporarily from my post office box. I had initiated an investigation but there was no updates to indicate details on the status of the investigation other than to indicate that it was resolved. The status was changed to resolved without a single piece of mail being forwarded and the remediation was to send me change of address cards to the address that I had requested the mail to be forwarded from. I got them when I returned to the United States three months later. There were eight pieces of first class mail when I checked my post office box. Three were refund checks totally over $1,900.

Great App, but USPS needs to make a change. The App is great, but USPS needs to make one change for the sake of connivence. It either needs to print a barcode on the receipt to track packages or it needs to allow he app to recognize the numbers for the tracking number in the App so you can scan it into the App to track packages. The USPS policy does not allow to “take pictures” within the Post office of the tracking barcode to add the info to your App for tracking. It is really frustrating to type out the LONG sequence of numbers into the App to track packages!!! I know, I know, first world problems, but still, make it easier for customers to use the App and maybe business will increase...

Screwy. Add a tracking number, tap track, and there's nothing there, no info whatsoever, and the box where you enter the number is blank. So you say okay, it must not have accepted the number, and enter the same number again, tap track again, and a warning in red letters says you are already tracking this number, yet there no tracking info there. So you tap track AGAIN, and once again, it's blank, nothing there. No matter what you do it gives you no tracking info whatsoever, but if you re-enter the number you just get the warning in red letters again. Over and over and over and over, ad nauseam. It's pathetic. It does this about every 3rd time I use it. It sure would be nice if it worked ALL THE TIME instead of only SOME OF THE TIME. It's been this way for a long long time. Can someone please fix it?

Updates recently ruined app. I can’t recall now which recent update in the last few months broke this application, but previously you could add a bunch of tracking numbers to your history and give them nicknames. Now, if you click on a tracking number that you’ve previously searched for, it always warns you that you’re now leaving the app and takes you to a website instead. Do you know longer have an ability to add a nickname to a tracking number so you can remember what the heck it is. This is an absolutely terrible direction. I actually really liked the app prior and had I reviewed it several months ago, I would’ve given it five stars. But as of right now, it’s not that useful.

Lack of Transit Info. Seems like a potentially helpful app. But the service behind the app does not compare well to UPS and FedEx. Downloaded this app to track packages in transit. Sent two separate shipments using priority mail with USPS estimating two day shipping when I placed the order. Immediately after pickup we received a message the shipments would be late. Not surprising considering the time of year. We were not concerned; We thought we would be able to track how the packages travelled between facilities along there routes. Not so. The latest is that both “are in transit to their next facility.” But only one shipment has a note that it left our regional facility three days ago. The other says it was received at our facility, but no confirming note that it left. So how can they say it on its way to the next facility? UPS and FedEx tell you not only when a package has left a facility, they also identify the next destination facility. Bottom line is we feel more frustrated with this conflicting, partial information at this stage than having no information at all, like USPS shipments used to be. If you say you will provide tracking information then do so. What you provide now is at best a hope that the package is not lost?

Tracking feature not the same!!. Title says it all!! Before the last update to the app, I was able to edit my tracking numbers and I could write down what time it was for each tracking number. After the resent update that feature went away and also the app now redirects users to a the usps webpage but still there is no option to edit the numbers and add names. I have to just wait and guess what item arrived and what I am still waiting on. Not a good move during the resent update. I hope usps reads this review and updates app to its previous condition. Thanks

More lost mail, USPS failing, app isn’t bad. Only good thing about the app is it told me where it was “lost.” They never seem to lose clothes or anything like that. It is alway electronics and stuff like that. It wasn’t labeled that way. They run it through a scanner. That’s how they find these things. Not hard to see the devices being sent through. Our 250+ year old post office is failing the US as a whole. Use any other service. FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Honestly the app isn’t bad. It does have great potential, but the people backing it don’t care to keep their jobs. I can’t blame the app for that. Oh and don’t try to call anyone. They try “really hard” to find your mail. Been almost 3 months now. I don’t plan to see it.

Bug Infestation. Have about a dozen tracking numbers loaded into the iPhone app. If I were to check the detailed status of more than two tracking numbers, error message comes up “You are already tracking that number” and app omits all other tracking numbers on Tracking section except for one. Have to wait a few hours out of the closed app for the other tracking numbers to magically reappear with all the nicknames I provided (helps knowing which packages are what) returned to tracking numbers; fortunately upon entering the Add Name under the respective tracking numbers, the nickname I provided is still saved but can only rectify two at a time or risk the same problem of removed tracking numbers minus the one again. To add to the problem, only two packages are being tracked. Copying and pasting those not being displayed on the iPhone app does not add them back to the formerly populated list.

Good surprise!. I will admit that I don’t use USPS much until my daughter and her family moved to Seattle and now they moved to Florida. I have been so pleased with the priority mail (shipping boxes for my grand babies) process from start to finish! I love that it’s one flat rate, the ability to track it all the way to the final destination, and it gets there within two days. The service that I get at the service desk from the employee, has been extremely pleasant and and very professional. The biggest plus is the USPS app! Love that I have the services and tracking at my fingertips! Thank you for you all doing what you do ❤️ My father worked for USPS (R.I.P) so I will always use your service 🙂

Shame on you USPD. After having a PO Box for over two years they Maybe you should privatize because you’re acting like a bunch of gangster crooks! After having a PO Box for over two years they closed my account they said they hadn’t received a monthly payment they sent all my mail back to who knows where. Then they told me what it’s still open all you have to do is pay to get it back well there was nothing to freaking get back, oh my stupid now it’s gone and then they encouraged me to pay a whole year because the monthly payments don’t work so well, so I had to fill out a new stupid application and pay a whole years worth $135 for nothing, when you’re just gonna be stupid forwarding the mail that comes to my home tell a stupid PO box when I can just take a walk out to the little box and bring it inside the house! boy was I ripped off and manipulated! closed my account

Informed delivery. I absolutely love informed Delivery! It’s an incredibly helpful and handy app that revolutionizes the way you interact with your mail. The feature that allows you to preview all incoming mail is a game -changer, providing a sense of control and security. No more worrying about mail theft,- you know exactly what’s hit it your way. One standout feature is the ability to report missing mail directly through the app. If you spot a piece of mail in the preview that doesn’t make it to your mailbox, you can quickly notify the Postal Service. This added layer of accountability is a real comfort. Moreover, the convenience of being able to purchase stamps, and other postal services within the app is a time-saver. it’s streamlines the entire process, making it a one stop solution for all your Postal needs. Informed delivery has truly made my life simpler, ensuring I stay informed and in control of my mail, Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their Postal experience!

Mail delivery. Why is it when we have 1 bill or piece of mail it is no longer delivered on the day it is reported to us to be delivered. Same thing goes for a larger piece of mail we have no image of shown to come on the day listed. We are home almost everyday when our mail comes and I have even ask our mail carrier one day and she didn’t know what I was talking about. We have never had trouble like this until this year here in Illinois. We have used informed mail for many years because we had lived out in country in Missouri and I had magazines coming but were not being delivered. Knowing when it was coming we started getting our magazines. Please check into this as I need my bills so I can pay them on time. Thanks for your help. Marsha Wester

Basically No Tracking. This app used to work really well! I loved plugging in all my tracking numbers, having the option of renaming them so I could keep track of which package was which, and opening the app to be able to track a whole list of any upcoming deliveries (incoming or outgoing). Yet now the app doesn’t do any of that!! Any time I enter a tracking number, a pop up tells me it’s redirecting me off the app (sometimes it jumps the gun and warns me two or three times before it actually redirects), and I have no option but to click “okay” and be sent to the tracking info on the website, where I can’t even rename the item, and where it won’t even at least save the tracking number in the app! So worthless, and not worth the space on my phone. I hope there’s a meta tracking app somewhere out there that actually works, because I miss how useful this app used to be!

Very useful, but desperately needs updating. I use this app frequently, especially with my iPhone, mainly for Informed Delivery. I get the information I need in a clear, concise manner, and the ability to nickname packages is very helpful. However, I find that the text at the top of the window ends up piled up on the rows below, making it difficult to find where to tap to add a tracking number. Also, when you do get there, the icon to add the number ends up right next to the feedback icon. Just too close. And all this on an iPhone 12 Pro Max, so its not for lack of screen size. Lastly, will this app ever be updated for the iPad? it is so 2010 that we have to use the cramped, original iPhone app on the big screen of an iPad!

Works part time. This app is great when it works. Lately is crashes and I loose all my tracking. Bummer. Get it fixed, or give an option to rebuild the tracking database so I don’t have to renter everything. App crashes 50% of time when entering a tracking number. This is new with the last update or update to iOS. App is good when it works. With the latest update of the app you can no longer add a name to the tracking number. Therefore you cannot use this app to track your items because all you know is the tracking no. Additionally when you do a track you are transferred to the actual web version of the USPS. If I had wanted to go to the website I would have used my browser to access. This app has become the worst tracking app for use of tracking of my USPS packages!!! Don’t waste your time downloading this specific app.

Love your app, but can’t save updates anymore!!!. I love your app!! But this past week, it will not let me update when I click “Get Text and Email updates” I’ll enter my email & phone number & select everything I want to get notified, but when I click “Get update” it just clicks. It doesn’t save, it won't do anything but just keep having you click get Update again & again but doesn’t save or say it’s updated. Soo this past Week, I wasn’t able to get any updates on any of my packages & delivery statuses on any of my packages last week. Please fix!!!! Other than that…. I just love your app!!! Thank you!! :)
