Great game crappy owner. I remember this game was the bomb but now you have to pay to play past level 1 which is stupid and you’ve ruined a classic game

Trash. I used to have this game on my iPhone 4( I have a 6s now) and it was awesome. I removers the name and I downloaded it now, and I saw that there was a new owner, I thought whatever. The game was originally 1.99 for the whole thing, and now I have to pay 4.99 for a subscription. POOR F ING MARKETING.

Love the game but the app is obnoxious. Love the game but halfway through it won’t let me acess the last 3 levels - prompts me to subscribe to game club - which I already had done !! Couldn’t get rid of that , couldn’t continue the game so I unsubscribed and deleted the app .... holla when you straighten this crap out

Falling behind. This app is fun but has fallen behind. There's no support for the iPhone 5. The icon is still pixilated. Portrait orientation is locked one way. No multiplayer support. All this and is been recently updated. Seems like the developers don't care anymore. What a shame.

iPhone 5 support needed. If you can do updates two years later, you can add iPhone 5 support... STOP WITH POINTLESS UPDATES!!! DO A WORTH WHILE UPDATE!

Subscription ruined the game completely. The subscription ruins everything and it literally restricts you from progressing in the game trying to force you to pay I used to be in love with this game back in 2010 and I loved it but now I can’t even play it 😭I was so exited to download the game and have a blast from the past but it was a total letdown...😔

THANK YOU!!!!!!. Thank you SO MUCH for bringing this game back! This was my favorite game to play and kill time back when I was in college. I was so sad when I could no longer log on. But I stubbornly kept the app for years in hopes that one day it would update so I could play it again. So, I’m sure you understand that It felt like a dream when I saw it had a new icon design and was usable again last night. I’m so hyped and I hope the game will also get updates. Such an unsung gem. Perfect execution. This game provides countless hours of dogfighting, increasingly difficult enemies and enough unlockables to keep you entertained for a long time.

Subscription screws it. I loved this game waaaaaay back in 2010 and once I saw a new looking icon on the app, I was dumbfounded. Firing up the game after ten years was definitely something I though wasn’t possible, it is the best aerial game you’ll get on the AppStore. But for anyone who hasn’t bought this game previously you have to pay a SUBSCRIPTION, which is ludicrous especially since the game only used to cost 1$. For those who have deep pockets this game is probably the best on the appstore

Amazing game play! Tight controls! Hight replay Value! Worth every penny and more!. Minisquadron boasts some of the most engaging, polished game play and tight controls of any iPhone app I have ever seen. Thank you MrFungFung for an amazing game! Each new plane unlocked is like playing a new game, sometimes requiring a wholy different approach to combat. It is evident that the mind(s) behind this game were not satisfied until their gameplay mechanics were perfect. I look forward to seeing this team apply their passion for detail and polish to the rest of their game, making the entire experience as polished as the game play is. As it stands now, this game is a bargin for the price. If they continue to layer improvements onto it, it will be epic, an all time favorite, and a best seller destined for a long term spot on the top of the charts. I look forward to seeying more games from MrFungFung in the future.

Good game, disappointing plane selection. The game overall was really great, especially the differing looks and challenges of each level. The only real negative I can find is the weak plane selection. Sure there are 56 planes to unlock, but only 3-8 of the 56 are actually useful and usable. A majority of the planes either are fast but very weak armor or tough to take down but travel so slowly that they stall incredibly easily from enemy fire. Only a select few planes had the right balance between armor, speed, and firepower (my personal favorite is the Sniper). The biggest problem I have is spending so much time unlocking all the planes, namely the Space Kracken, after seeing what it can do ingame with a giant laser. When I attempted to unlock the kracken I was expecting to have control over the same weapon I saw used on me while I battled it in the final level. When I got the score needed and finished out the level required to unlock the Kracken, what I unlocked wasn't an awesome "you beat the game!" reward plane with a huge laser to mess around in the game with and add some replay value, instead what was given was a dinky space squid with a weak laser that "pivots." It wasn't even all that usable in game since aiming the laser is too choppy and jittery while steering the plane. One of the weaker planes with a fixed laser is of more use than the perceived "ultimate weapon" of Minisquadron. Very disappointed but glad I got it when it was free.

fun but some issues. Level 11 and 12 of devils dust bowl is way to hard. What were you thinking? If anything that should've been applepollies map. Otherwise it's a great game :)

Great. I love the game I really do but you have to re calibrate it or change the controls cause I was playing it and all of a sudden I would try to shoot and it wouldn't let me shoot or I would go to move or turn the plane and it wouldn't let me, please try and fix this thanks

Needs an update badly. I have loved this game since the iPhone 3G but not having updated it for retina or the iPhone 5 is pretty sorry. I wouldn't even mind buying a v2 at this point as I know that's not trivial to accomplish.

Good if you can pay $5 a month. I used to love this game and play it so much as a kid so i decided to re download it and after getting past the first area i was already not able to progress because i had to pay $5. Fun game if you have the money to spend, but if you don’t then i don’t recommend it

Great game but...... Great game but the developer pretty much gave up. I paid the money for both versions of the game and they don’t even bother to update it. I give it 3 stars cause I like the game but support from the developers get 1 ⭐️ why ask us to pay if they never intended to follow through on what we paid for.

Legendary Game. Loved this game so much when I had it on my iPod touch 4, but can you please make a remastered version for iPad and iPhone with multiplayer? One of my all time top favorite games.

Nostalgic, Modern 1943 Like Game with Great Game Play, Effects & Music. I love this game! Extremely fun and easy to play with no learning commitment. It's a straight forward shoot em up dog fight. Lots of planes to choose from. The survival mode is awesome! I wish more games were like this on iOS.

hell. this should be a 5 star gAme but... no online dog fighting?, No Iphone 5 screen support, also specials and power ups would be fun too...PPPPLease. And a button to flip the plane when up side down (instead of automaticly) to give it a good twist and repeated presses lets you do Barrel rolls and other stunts

What about the MiniSquadron special edition?. So I love this game and I played this game when I was younger in like 2012, I was so happy I could redownload the game! But after beating the game, all levels beat, all planes unlocked, I remembered MiniSquadron special edition. Could you bring this back as well?

Well-polished and fun to play.. The graphics, interface, and art design are great. It makes the gameplay smooth and minimizes the need for a tutorial...just "pick up and shoot". I love the icon too (it reminds me of a Neo Geo title screen). I also love how your health meter is the plane itself and how messed up it looks tells the player when they're about to die. Suggestions: *I haven't played multiplayer yet, but is there a ammo system for normal bullets? Right now I can spam bullets with little consequences. *In the plane selection menu, maybe the stats of each plane should be displayed graphically (i.e. color bars, weapon icons) instead of text. It takes too long to compare the planes. *Have an aircraft carrier map that allows planes to land to repair, but leaves them vulnerable on takeoff. I can't wait to be able to play my own music so I can play "Danger Zone" from Top Gun. Thanks for creating a great game.

Game mechanic problems on Iphone Xs. Idk if its just an iphone Xs problem but the joysticks when using the ufo planes just lock in place randomly making u crash/miss a lot of shots and also, why in the world do enemy planes collect red hearts, its the most annoying thing when you chase a red heart that you oh so need in the battle with the kraken only for an enemy to pickit up and waste it, please fix these problems otherwise I really loved the hit of nostalgia, I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw this back on the app store.

Fantastic game. This game is very very engrossing and will make you obssess over it in your spare time. Completing levels, destroying bombardments of planes while at the same time winning new planes to pilot into battle with. It's a well thought out and in depth game that invokes a lot of effort to complete. It's heaps of fun and I love it :) I played it so much I got blisters on my thumbs, literally.

Best iPod game so far.. Heaps of fun and very addictive. Would be great if u could set the kill level in multiplayer. And if u can play own music too. Awesome though.

top notch. this is probably the most enjoyable game i have on my ipod, it is challenging at points, it has a solid multiplayer, a fitting and awesome soundtrack and plenty of content. this game will keep you going for many hours and at the small price is a bargin. the controls feel great and the graphics suit the game. 5 stars

Excellent BiPlane game!. The new update brings your own music into the game, which really enhances the mood of some of the dogfights you encounter. I love this game! I'm ready for more planes after I unlocked the 56 in the game! I loved BiPlanes on the Amiga, and Minisquadron recreates and enhances this experience ten-fold. Brilliant game!!

More fun than I thought. I just got it cos it was free but it's actually a lot more fun than it looks in the pics. Great controls and smooth gameplay but loses a star for crashing too often

Fantastic. I would unreservadly reccomend this for any ipod gamer. I must admit, I really didn't like it at first, you start off with this dingy, rather rubbish plane, but as you begin to unlock some of the dozens of other planes available, it really starts to get interesting. I've unlocked all but two of these planes, and that's no mean feat. The game encourages you to revisit levels with newly unlocked and stronger planes so as to improve your score and unlock newer, stronger planes once more. The only critisism I have is the lack of levels and a shortage of planes (well, there is quite a significant range, but I've unlocked virtually all now!)

Forever the Best. I love this game! I always will! I completed it 4 times and it is still fun! The music, planes and weapons are amazing! And the sounds, well, meh the game is still brilliant. This game is a must buy.

Addictive. I dont normally get into iphone games. But this is actually pretty fun. I have tried out a few games and have found the controls to be terrible. The controls in this game are very user friendly. I normally prefer accelerometer based controls as joystick controls normally suck. Somehow yours dont 

Great app, Perfect for time wasting :). Ah, you can't go wrong with this app. Great if your waiting at the docters,if your at a friends and of course at home. Lots of planes to chose from, levels are fun and app is easy to use. But I think it could be better, MrFungFung, add a special attack that recharges over time and if you destroy a certain number of enemys with the special attack you get an upgrade for that weapon. Also add a dodge ability which is different according to the direction your turning. And be able to listen to your own music! Oh, and one more thing, add more planes. P.S. Great game, could be better, add these features.

Update stupidity.. Thankyou guys for an update that will forever clog iTunes, because it carries nothing more than a self-promoting banner advert. I don't even know if the thing would be pulling data in the background to keep the specials updated. Lame updates? No thanks.

SO FUN!!. The funnest dogfighting game for iPhone!! I wish they have an expansion pack where we can have more levels or customise our planes (colours, patterns, etc). The ultimate DLC would be multiplayer feature!!

Awesome!. Probably the most fun I've had with an iPhone game to date. Awesome gameplay with a decent amount of replayability. This goes down with Flight Control/Geodefense/Meteor Defense as the best games for the iPhone.

Amazing!. I have unlocked all 56 planes (my fav is the turtle) and spent countless hours playing this addicting and brilliant game. Too bad it dies once you unlocked all the planes :(. I was lucky enough to get this game for free, but I wouldn't pay 2.99 for it. 5 stars for free, 3 stars for $3. Nuff said.

Solid Game. Great controls, addictive game play and multiple levels. Definitely a must pick up. The only knock (why a 4 star and not a 5) is even when you turn off all sound (FX and Music) the laser sound is crazy loud. Fix this small (but annoying issue) and it's a 5 star.

Absolutely amazing!. I just love this game so much, its so good. Unlocking and playing all the different planes is so much fun because each plane plays differently! Dogfighting is also super fun, watching the pieces if the enemy plane fall of as you shoot them, its so cool. Buy it now, you wont regret it

Needs Multitasking. Great game, lots of fun. Really needs an update to be able to multitask. You close the game for any reason, and you lose your current score. Please update.

Great Game!. Wow... That's all I can say. Exceptional game, words cannot describe it. Very fun to play, fun to try and unlock all the planes, and great replay value, can play over and over without getting bored. 5/5 Good Job Fung Fung Easy to play, great easy quick controls, this game is the best in the AppStore. Best plane is the Siver Fox, soo good it has unlocked 40 out of 56 planes for me, amazingly easy to use.

Addicted. For a few months I have not come across any games that have held my attention. But this is the first game in a while that reminds me why I don't pick up my nintendo DS anymore. The most satisfying part of the game, believe it or not, is recovering from a stall. It is that attention to details and gameplay that has made me addicted. Well done.

Really well made app!. I saw this app on dealmac when it was free a couple days ago and decided to check it out. By far this is one of the best apps that I have ever gotten for free. The controls are easy and good. I like the sound effects also. The gameplay gets challenging but not excesively so. I got to Appleopolis today and I'm stuck at the checkpoint at level 10 and can't beat the squid on level 12 but I've gotten close... I'm currently experimenting different planes with it. If I do beat the game, it's definetly one of the few apps I will continue to play after I've beaten it. Survival mode is good and I like that unlocking some planes is challenging. Overall, its just a good game. I would definetly pay $3 for it.

Utterly.... ...superb. A must have. Lots of content, feels kinda like subspace continuem. Could do more with Bluetooth and Internet play, as well as some missions besides just survival. Coop would also be a huge plus. Still, hold off on that extra snack and spend all 3 bucks on this one. Think about it, how much is 3 bucks really? A candybar and a soda?

Awesome. THE BEST GAME I HAVE. I love this game. It's fairly easy to learn and to play. The gameplay is intuitive and quick. I highly suggest the game. I finished all the levels and collected every plane in about a week. To those that are stuck, each weapon on the different planes has it's own advantage to scoring points. Cluster bomb is my favorite, being it's basically a one hit kill.

Fantastic 2d scroller. This game is so much fun! Definitely one of the best 2-d actiony games I've played on ipod. The other one being "hook champ." This game is just as fun as that, it's also challenging and provides a lot of incentive to keep playing through its selection of achievement/high-scored based unlockable planes that feature varied design and weaponry along with well balanced pros and cons for selection at the beginning of each mission. Completely awesome game, very happy to have downloaded this one.

Simply Amazing Game. This game is a lot of fun in both single- and multi- player modes. Every unlockable plane brings something new to the game, and some are just hilarious. But where this game really shines is the controls... slickest. controls. ever. Devs everywhere can take a lesson from this game. Highly recommended, even if was more than what a cup of coffee will cost you!

Update please. Simply flawless gameplay. So ridiculously addicting and easy to play. It challenges you to get the tons of different plays and over all just brilliant but what would honestly be the best is casual updates that added more planes levels etc... I don't care if I had to pay for them honestly just give us some updates!!!

Hands Down Must Have App!. Fantastic gameplay much like Altitude (google it). Great controls, innovative features, the works! Can't wait to see expanded multiplayer (maybe over Internet?) To anyone confused over how to unlock planes: READ the tutorial. Simply click the greyed out plane and it will tell you the requirements for unlocking it :) Amazing what following instructions does for you!!! Fantastatronicle!!! . Suprisingly enough... The "3D Fast Action Packed Games" are actually not as fun as something as simple as this little gem! I have unlocked all the planes i believe there are 56 and i hav them all! Very fun trying to win all of them! After that u can settle for some high scores and try to bet your previous one! Graphically this game is fun and beautifully smooth. Animations are great, everything looks great! And an update is already planned i see! Fantastic! Survival mode should be amazing! A few ideas for future updates ------- - Online Leaderboards - More Planes - Survival Mode - More Levels - Ipod Music Capabilities - OpenFeint or Plus+ or something - More Plane Weapons - More Power Ups - Plane Customization (colors & such) - Big Boss Battle Stages (would be AMAZING!) 3 little boys played it for DAYS.. My kids and I played this thing non-stop for an entire weekend. Mom about killed us. Very polished - zero glitches. You have to hit certain scores in certain levels to unlock different airplanes. Nicely done. How much would you pay to entertain your kid for about 50 hours? Best 3 bucks I ever spent.

One of Those Games that You Always Go Back To. I have a ton of games for my iPhone, but there's only two that I come back to again and again, and Mini Squadron is one of them. The graphics are great, the concept is simple and fun, the little kids voices yelling stuff like "MINI SQUADRON!" and 'YOU LOSE", and the evil laugh... all these little touches make the game so great. I love trying to unlock new planes. Fighting one on one with my friends is really awesome, too.

More please!!. I've been looking for a game like this for a long time, and this one is very well done. It's certainly worth the $$, an provides hours of fun unlocking planes and beating levels, but once you've beaten and unlocked everything the replay value drecreases. And online multiplayer would be awesome! As would more unlockable planes and weapons. New features that I'd like to see include the ability to customize and upgrade planes, and the ability to control throtle (or at least the ability to turn it on/off for more complex acrobatics)

Great. This is easily the best game on my phone and the special edition is just as good. And for all those people complaining the planes are too hard to get, just rack up multipliers by not getting hit and then shoot the planes as they fall to the ground to get an extra 10x points, easily netting you the plane you need. This is how I unlocked all 56.

Great game!. Very addictive and chalenging. I would love it if you would add a light plane class with great speed and manuvering, a gunner class that shot cannon rapidly at like .10 reload time and a weapon class with a flak cannon this would be amazing. Keep up the great work and thank you for this great game! Everyone buy this app you truly will not regret it!!!!!!!

Fantastic game. This is seriously the best game I've gotten in months. The gameplay is fast paced, the graphics are incredibly polished, the sound effects are perfect, and the difficulty curve is top notch if you're willing to deal with a death or two unlocking some of the later planes. Which there are 56 of, by the way. Excellent replay value right there. For those of you complaining that they're too hard to unlock: the real points come from completely destroying enemies before they hit the ground. Missiles and triple shots fire too slow to pull this off, so get a plane with cluster bombs and fire when you're directly under an enemy for an instant kill.

Surprisingly Addictive!. I purchased this game not expecting much. But as soon as i started playing a felt how perfect the controls were i feel in love. This is definitely a game that i will keep coming back. Plus there are tons of planes to unlock. The gameplay is just fun and feels very fluid. A must buy in my book!

Long lasting fun. A great plane shooter. You unlock more aircraft to choose from as you score well and there are dozens of planes, each a little different from the next. Choosing which to use on various levels helps keep it fun and challenging. I play it with my 4 year old watching and she goes bananas whenever a new plane unlocks, excited to see it. All in all, lots of fun, high replayability, novel options of aircraft... very much worth it!

Nice. Ok I bought this on release when it was 2.99 and it was worth it. Only wish I waited for .99 sale but ohwel. The gameplay is fun and there's a bunch of planes to unlock. I'm stuck on final boss though with less then half the planes unlocked. Any helpful advice from sombody who beat it? I recomend everyone take advantage of sale while it last

Awesome. This one sick game with the smoothest controls ever. I really recommend this to anyone. It also has so much variety in planes so it doesn't get boring after a while. One thing to add though is please add a multiplayer with more than 1 friend. At least play with 3 other people, that would be so fun. I really hope you consider what I said!

Best plane game. Don't hesitate, buy the game don't listen to other people who say that getting all the planes is impossible I already got 44 planes after a couple of days and it's a steal at $3 and don't forget by buying this game you will help the develepores add more content. P.S what is the best plane and what is the fastest plane right now the trident has an aerodynamic speed of 650 which is the highest so far but I have others that have a higher max speed

Awesome game!. What an amazing game. The concept is simple, but the gameplay just blew my socks off. The controls are perfect, I really like the physics aspect of the game. You can't just go rocketing straight up without eventually stalling and plummeting earthwards again. But a stall can somtimes be a great tactical manuever to nab the guy on your tail. Well done Mr. Fung! I love it and it will keep me well entertained on my upcoming deployment.

Odds are VERY against you. Game is super fun overall. Controls are easy except for a few minor issues. My biggest annoyance is towards the end of a level they have an overwhelmingly large amount of comp players with a 85% accuracy of varying weapons that basically kills you instantly. Not only that bur they can Aldo use the aNe power ups as you....yay...not vet helpful to the player. And in this game you will really need the 1pm bur guess what it flies like crazy across the screen and ends up killing trying to get it. Other issue is I tend to stall and due alot when flying vertically....nit sure why. But im inclined to say that it is overwhelming easy to impossibly hard.

Simply Amazing. Frenzied, frantic, fast paced. That's what this game is. The artwork and graphics are stunning in their own cute way, and especially because of the attention to detail. It's perfect to keep you entertained and the simple gameplay is perfect for all ages. There are enough unlockables to keep you playing for days! Easily worth 5 dollars, it's a great deal at 2.99. Buy this game now, you definetly won't regret it. I've been playing for a while now, and have yet to unlock all the planes! Once again, I want to say that mini squadron a beautiful fast paced shooter that you cannot miss! In the future I'd like to see more stages, and more planes. I think it would make this game over the top If you added online multiplayer. Great work developers, you've got yourself a winner. I expect to see this app as #1 on iTunes soon!

Awesome. Definitely one of my new favorites! Great controls and challenging. To those complaining about no one playing wifi, they specify in the description that it's a local wifi gameplay. That means 2 people playing over the same wifi network.

Incredible. This game is definitely worth the price, i may have even gotten it for more. There is enough gameplay and unlockable items to last for some time. This game embodies all of the criteria for a great handheld. U can pick it up and play, it has interesting gameplay and of course, its fun!!!!

Quite Addicting. The near-perfect iPhone game. It's easy enough to be very entertaining, but hard enough to keep you engaged. You can play quick levels and it will save it for you for the next time you come back. There is lots of variety and tons of planes to keep you from getting bored. Highly recommended.

Yess.. Really great game, so fun, and tons of game play. I wouldve liked to have unlocked the planes I was fighting against. Particularly the last one, a little payoff for unlocking them all wouldve been nice! After the disappointment of never getting the planes that were so good at destroying me, I'm not sure I'm gonna play again after ALL that work to unlock every one. It was worth it though, one of the iphones best games yet I think! Now my thumb hurts!! Lol.

Real fun! Great graphics, great control.. My major concern with iPhone games is always control, and MiniSquadron tops it! I even forget I'm not using a real stick, but a touch screen. So this doesn't get in the way of the real fun: the game. Everything is really balanced: you have moments of challenge, and moments of enjoyment. Fantastic game with great graphics. I'm really glad I bought it - I simply forgot about all my other iPhone games.

Greatness. I have only given one other 5 out of 5 ever. This game is greatness. Solid pick up and play gameplay that's easy to learn hard to master. Multiplayer tons of planes just good solid fun. Reminds me of a really old computer game called red Barron. (probably too old of a reference unless your near 30). Really just stop reading and buy this game. For .99 this is a steal. I've paid far more for games not even close to this fun.

I've been making games for about 14 years, so it really takes something special to keep me interested very long. I can't put this damned game down! people are wondering where I am at work because my 15 min smoke breaks turn into 45 min squadron breaks. just about killing my productivity this last month. really well done, guys. Awesome!. Eaisly one of the best flyer games I have played! Great controlls, great graphics, a million planes (ok like 56, but it's still a lot) for you to use. Has earned a spot on my front page of games for sure. Very nice job. Only suggestion... Make it so the other planes can't pick up the 1up hearts. Just the hearts. I mean, they can't use them, I'm going to shoot them down anyway!

Great aviation game!. I love games involving aviation. I've purchased FAST, Top Gun, iFighter, and Flight Control. So far, this one has the best replayability. It's great for casual gaming and doesn't require you to move the phone around like FAST or Top Gun does. The joystick and buttons are very responsive and the gameplay is very smooth. Graphics are great and the levels and unlocks keep you coming back for more. I bought this during black friday for 99 cents but would have gladly paid the full price of 2.99. Worth every penny.

Buy it: Just do it. If you are reading this review I already can assume that you want to buy this game but are unsure if you should. Let me make this real simple for you: buy it. It has everything. It is FUN, it is UNIQUE it has a great soundtrack, it has great sound effects, it has great controls, it has graphics which fit the game perfectly, and it has great replayability. Listen, this is a game in which you chose a plane from a seemingly infinite list and then go out and destroy swarms of planes. This premise is wrapped up in a package that is exciting, cute, intense, and enthralling. If all that wasn't enough, the musical scores in this game are classic pieces of classical music which somehow are made to fit the game perfectly. In other words, this game does the impossible. Just buy it.

Crazy Addicting. At first even with a few planes to choose from, this game is awesome! hours and hours of endless fun. WARNING your thumbs will go numb playing this game!!! Amazing game... However.... This game is really fun yet difficult, which provides a good balance. The planes are very creative. There is, however, one thing I have a problem with. There seems to be a lot of Satanic planes in both versions of the game. First off, you have planes that feature a Pentagram as the emblem on their wings. Second, some of the names of the planes are a bit concerning too. Two of the planes are named Satanael and Beelzebub. If it weren't for those facts, this app would have gotten a 5 star review from me. Sorry!

A must-have app!. This is an incredible game. It's super easy to pick up and play, but takes hours to master. The gameplay itself is incredibly simple, and can change largely on what plane you're using. You can unlock more of them by hitting score targets on certain levels, and every time you do it allows you to go back and replay levels in a whole new way. The graphics are beautiful and the controls are tight. For $3 you can't do much better than this. Stop reading this and go buy it already.

SO MUCH FUN!. Wow, I didn't think I'd have this much fun playing a game on my iPhone. The controls are smooth and responsive and the gameplay is simple but challenging at the same time. You can unlock tons of planes with different weapons which comes in handy because the enemies get a lot tougher (and more numerous) in later levels. The different weapons at your disposal give you tons of different playing styles to choose from. Want to pilot a quick and nimble plane with homing missiles? Or how about a slow, but heavily armored bomber? Or, my personal favorite: a tough armored, not too fast, not too slow plane wielding a green laser! I definitely recommend this game to any shooter fan! Nev

To the DEVS. Amazing game!! Everything is perfect! I love the stall feature. You should consider putting an automatic stall in the game. Stalling is beneficial if usef correctly and if you added a stall button the gameplay would increase!! If you think about it, you can stall a plane anytime in real life just by turning off the engine!!! Think about it!!!

MrFungFung, REALLY?. I have no Idea what people see in this game. All I see is frustrating gameplay. Every 15 seconds I seem to be stalling, and if you start to stall you are basically on the ride to hell. If you do recover, you skim the ground and crash into something, or an enemy shoots a missile at you and you fly even lower to the ground ( known as crashing). I can only unlock about 4 out of about ten areas. You usually fly in enemy territorys, and there are always 88s shooting laser beams at you. I think they the enemys have way way way to much health. You will find that UFOs have about 2 times your health. This is not my kind of game and I will be sure to never buy another game like this. You probably can't spend days infront of your idevice trying to get past a level. MrFungFung does not know that people who play this don't have the best airplane in the game. I do not have any time for this.

Great game with a great future!. This game is splendid. Its a true masterpiece, i have played it for hours jusr becaue its got a great control method and awesome gameplay. You will definetley want to pick this game up if u got some spare time to try and unlock all the cool planes. It can be difficult at times but my word of advie to unlock the, HARD to get planes is use laser planes to gross the most points amd blow the planes up fully dont just shoot them into the ground. Was skeptical. Saw some rave reviews of this, but was hesitant to try. I'm very sick of games with slick presentation but without actually FUN gameplay! Like 90% of what's on the app store. This is not one of those games. Very balanced gameplay with just enough challenge/difficulty mixed in with frantic shooting and maneuvering. I hope this gets up to the top 25. It's definitely better than most of those games. I am glad the dev is adding ability to play your own music. Getting to wave 12 and hearing the same music over and over gets old. As for suggestions: Maybe a double tap of the left circle for a booster?

Cute addictive game. Great little game. Just one thing wrong. We need an option to reverse/switch controls from one side to the other. I simply am not a lefty when it comes to flying. In this game, the flight controls are on the left, fire button on the right. I would like to be able to switch them around. Other than that, it's a great little game!

Awesome Casual Game. Challenging without being frustrating - a nice balance. I like being able to pick up where I left off after running out of lives, although this speeds progress through the game and may detract re-playability. Ah, the tough decisions game designers must make! Thanks for making it free today on the AppVent calendar - I will definitely follow "MrFungFung"'s games in the future.

needs tweaking. This is a great game, a lot of fun, smooth play, good graphics. however it is in desperate need of an update. There is no rhyme or reason to when a new plane is unlocked and there really is no goal that i can see other than unlocking planes. I have beaten every location on the map and only got about 11 planes out of the 56 unlocked. Please if anyone knows how, why, or when a plane gets unlocked, let me know. Or to the creators...make the updates so we can know how to attack this properly. Alsoi would love to be able to change the plane I am using after beating 1 wave on a board. I know people who have beaten the map 3 times thru and still dont have all the planes unlocked...what gives? Fix that and this is a 5 star game no problem!

Great game!. It is a great game with many unlockables but I have two requests. First of all, I would like to see an option to customize your plane after you beat the game. That would drastically improve my experience with the game. Second, I would like to see more levels and planes. It would be nice to see more planes to help you beat the very difficult final level. My most important request is that I would like to see many more levels. At this point, there are under 10 levels and they are not very long. Maybe there could be a new continent added to this world. Overall, a great game, but more content would be a great improvement.

Hard but possible. For those of you who think the levels of the game are too hard, they are supposed to be hard -.- don't expect easy levels as that wouldn't be too fun either after a while. Now... Usually it's better to kill off the laser shooting ones as those can make u stall when u r hit. There's a lot of shooting so choose a hard armoured plane. Can't believe u guys complain about why u sometimes stall for no reason. There's obviously a reason but u just don't observe it close enough. Hard levels will be bombarded with planes but it is a challenge. Took me about 25 times but it's possible. Stop complaining about the levels. Ur reviews should be on the game quality but not about how successful/or a failure(complainers) that u r at the game!!!

Wow!. Such a fun and entertaining game for when you just wanna waste a few minutes. Has a great selection of planes, and fun challenges to unlock planes with. I'm glad I got it before the price went up :P Just one thing tho, (to developers) maybe for the multiplayer feature, you could make an online lobby to see all the rooms and players online. Just a thought though, keep up the great work!

Very good, but not perfect. MiniSquadron is a very good game. The levels are challenging but not too difficult with one exception. Stage 12/12 in Appleoplis is ridiculous. At any given point you will have at least three lasers trying to hit you, and one will, no matter how much dodging you do. One more problem is that the main replay value is trying to unlock 56 more planes, which would be cool if it wasn't for the fact that 50 of those planes are almost completely useless. Overall, however, the game has good graphics, mostly good gameplay, and a great control layout. Just don't buy it thinking that it is flawless.

My newest favorite game!. This game is remarkable in every way. The animation is beautiful & polished, the controls are spectacular, and the overall gameplay is fun and addicting. It's one of those games which drains your batteries because you keep coming back for more. There are over 50 planes to unlock, some of which are really funny, such as the panda plane, which is a plane with a giant panda head attached to it. The music consists of melodic classical music, which is a different take for this genre, but it works. Overall, this game is a steal at the current asking price of $2.99, it's honestly worth every penny and more. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Great job dev & keep up the great work!
