Hilarious. This is the best 99 cents I ever spent. It freaks my cats out so much, they run in from other rooms to see what's going on. Adding cats to your photos is cute too. It'd be great to be able to import my own cats' photos... or rotate/resize/move cats once they've been placed.

Update needed. The app will not allow me to save the CatPaint picture project the traditional way. I must text the finished product to myself to save the finalized project. Would also love to see some updated options to select from as well🤞

So Much The Cuteness!. I paid for this app about 2 years ago and I still use it. That's really saying something. I never bought any in-app purchases, the included cats were always enough for me. But they've been doing a new thing with adding a free cat every week or so lately and I love it. Even more fun from an already adorable app!

An app. of the highest utility. Catpaint is almost certainly the most useful app. I have purchased to date. It paints cats--and lasers--with amazing accuracy (and cuteness) and never crashes. I rely on it for all my cat-painting needs and recommend that you do the same.

Everything I ever wanted.. This is such a great way to spend 99 cents. The hilarity ensued from using the app for even 10 minutes is awesome and totally worth it. Scaling is great - rotating will make it spectacular should there be an update.

Freeze. Lock the cats and all of the extras but when you click to share you cannot cancel as the app just freezes and half the time you cannot even share from the app. I know it was only $.99 but offer an in app purchase of more cats and at least fix the bugs.

Getting better, but still frustrating to edit. This is a fun app and would be even more worth the price if it were a little easier to use. Selecting on-screen cats and editing them can be frustrating. Resizing and rotating the cats is difficult if you're trying to do some fine-tuning. Cats have a center-point where you drag them from, so you can only put the cat offscreen to the point where your finger touches the edge. Appreciate the Halloween cats. Still think the heads should be free, but what can ya do?

Great for hours of entertainment!. I am a cat lover, but I still had some reservations about this app... However, I've been very pleasantly surprised with how versatile and fun it can be!! Obviously its focus is fairly narrow (CATS!), but all you need is a little creativity and some free time to see what this app can do and I think anyone would be pleased with the results! My one suggestion is the same as most others', MORE CATS! that aside, I'm very glad I bought this app!!

Cattastic. This was so worth the money. It will brighten up anyone’s day when you put a dancing cat sticker on there reply. So... I bought the app thinking it came with the cat heads and once I bought it an looked it had a small selection of cats and had to spend an extra dollar for the cat heads. Wish they would have let me known before I bought it.

Doesn't work in I-message 😿. App works very good for adding funny cat stickers to photos. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't show up in I-message. That was a huge reason why I purchased this. I have faith they will fix this, but who knows when???

Purrrr-fect. How did I not find this app before? Add my own background and have laser shooting cats? Don't have to meow at me twice! What's that you say? Different meows each time I place a cat? Sold. I imagine this is what cat heaven looks like... Cats floating in space shooting lasers for fun. (Gimme more free cats please!)

Does what it says on the box. I have never used a more thoroughly enjoyable cat-painting application. Particular praise must be given to the audio design, which has a subtle flair — you might not notice it at first, but it adds so much to the overall experience. I would recommend this application unreservedly to anyone wishing to place a cat on a photograph.

DUDE. Best app. Best life. But to earn five stars from me you've gotta fill my prescription. For more cats. Like, on the double. A handful of surly cat heads alone isn't worth the additional $0.99. I mean it is and I'll probably end up making the in-app purchase anyway because I'm a single white female but seriously bring on the kittehs. Again. All or nothing. In it to win it.

an investment in happiness. Catpaint never fails to disappoint me. Hilarious, fun, and always improving. My only problem, and it's probably more of a personal problem, is sometime I have trouble getting the cats small enough. It would be great if they could get even smaller. I LOVE CATPAINT!!!&&!!&

More cats please!. I used to be an atheist. But I'm pretty sure Jesus made this app, and as a result, I now believe in his dad. It's the best photography app on the market. Do you take crappy photos? No worries, this app will improve each and every one of them by ONE MILLION PERCENT. It's the quickest route to becoming a professional photographer. Please update with even more cats.

Awesome but can use some improvements. I love love love this app. Only because putting cats into any photo rules so hard and they give some good options. Overall the app is great. There are a few glitches though that I hope they fix. 1 is that if I use a photo taken by any app other than the stock camera it rotates it sideways and doesnt let me rotate it back. Kind of annoying. The other thing I notice is that if you shrink of the cats small enough that your finger is bigger than most of it's surface area it becomes pretty much uneditable from there. Also kind of annoying. But otherwise great app!!!

Worth it just for the cat sounds. We were minding our own business adding cats with lasers to pictures when we realized one of our cats was getting very curious. Our new favorite game is to watch the cat freak out trying to find where the meows are coming from

Not showing up in iMessage :(. Just bought like 5 minutes ago but doesn't even work for the iMessage. Everything else works just fine but was really looking forward to spam my friends with cats in the message. 😿

Meow Meow Meow. Love this app. Everyone has gotten a kick out of it. But not as much as I have lol. Please add more cats and the ability to cat paint on landscape photos because when i choose a landscap photo it gets cropped out. And if you guys develop a new app in the future, please make LemurPaint! Lemurs are just as funny as cats!

Awesome... Missing some functionality. This app is EPIC! however... needs 1. Th ability to move the cat picture around. 2. An undo button. 3. the ability to have the cat on the page with live camera and take the picture together for realism. Great app though seriously!

Now Broken :(. Used to work fine, but now in-app email function will not accept addresses. Very cumbersome to have to save CP photo to Camera Roll, copy it, then paste it into a new email document for sending. Also, after length of time this app has been on the market, more cats should be available for "painting" into photos. Would expect more polish at this stage of the game.

I am having way too much fun!. I am emailing "fat Cat" travel & adventure stories to my friends. So far none of them have blocked my emails! . I even update "fat cat's" statue w/ pic's on facebook. Like I said- I am havin' way too much fun with this app.

Not worth the 99 cents, yet. I saw a review of CatPaint and thought it would be cute to send my wife some photos with cats in them. So I purchased it but was very disapointed. This is my first review of any app. I wish there were more different type of cats and also some editing handles so you could, once placed, enlarge the cats or rotate them or even flip them. Cute idea but it needs work. Maybe the next release will have all these and if so, I would give it a 4 star rating.

Crashes in iOS 14.4. App totally broken...won’t open at all

Cats!. I love this app, and I make pics to send to my friends with it. It was fun at first, but it quickly got old because of the lack of cats. It doesn't have that many, and they only add new ones each week. I think cats should be added more often.

Effects are cool, but I can't open new photos!. We've had a lot of fun with this app, but 2 issues. 1. Once I've opened a photo in the app, even if I clear it, I can't open a new photo without completely shutting down the app and reopening it. 2. The lasers aren't very accurate, I don't expect them to actually blow stuff up, but I can't even get them near the cats eyes. Weird!

Good with potential to be GREAT. I'm totally obsessed with this app, but it could be loads better. There needs to be more cats and they should be funnier. The fatso and the flying cat at my favorites. Maybe some cats with bulging eyes or some really ugly cats would be great. Overall, hilarious app!!!!

Great app. Love this app! A little eraser tool to make it look like cats are coming up from behind things in the pictures would put it over the top but even as it is it's phenomenal.

Seriously Fun App. This is fun. I have only done a couple of photos, but already my imagination is running wild. I don't know why people complain right off the bat! The developers just released this. They will make improvements as they go. You can change the size, you just need to do it before you place the cat. One reviewer said an undo button was needed. They didn't read the instructions obviously. Just shake to undo. You can put the cat wherever you want in the pic. If its not right, just shake and start over. I'm going to have so much fun with this. Great job and I will look forward to more fun in the updates to come.

Almost Purrfect. Amazing app I love it. But it is giving me a lot of issues with the iMessage part of it. It will take very long to load the stickers and often enough will give me a "can't load" error. Only was able to use it once so far

Cute so far. I was glad to see that you could shake to undo once I finally read the directions. Guess I was too exited to start playing beforehand. But the cat scaling before placement doesn't do much good because you can't see the size you've made until after your cat has been placed. Rotation would allow for more realism and dragging across the canvas would allow you to beore precise. These updates will take this app from a childs toy to something really great! Someone mentioned having the ability to use your own cat photos...Agreed I have a million but that would require the need to erase the original background on the users picture which might be tough. Great concept though!!

Come on people!!. So I’m a little late to the game because I just found this app but I love it and I get comments from everybody I post a sticker to, so I’m not sure why you’re not putting out new cats regularly... or new apps altogether! This one is way better than my other sticker apps because it’s the only one that doesn’t have a tag on the bottom, “created by cat paint“ for such and such. Those are so annoying. More apps please! The people will pay.

I love it, but.... there are some major bugs. any photo you use gets cropped slightly, and the cats are hard to move and resize and rotate. I wish you could zoom out on the photos so they aren't cropped. that said, it's my new favorite app! great for making photos Facebook appropriate.

New stupid update. I already paid for this app which at the time I thought it was worth it. Now you've locked half of the cats and i have to pay more money for them. Which I can tell you right now is not going to happen. LAME.

Keep it alive!. Love the app, I think one thing that could help spread news of the app by word of mouth would be updating the car gallery with more cats. With how quickly memes and images go viral these days, it should be easy to consistently offer updates with new cats to use! Love the app, but I did pay for it! So gimme my money's worth!

Catpaint is fun but very frustrating. Catpaint is a very funny concept, but ultimately a very frustrating app to use. There are only a handfull of cat "brushes" to chose from, and once you place one there is no way to move, scale, or rotate the cat on your image. The menu/GUI is hard to use. There is no delete button, when you place a cat you have to shake your phone to delete it. It always deletes the last cat placed, no way to select one prior. Catpaint could be an awesome app with some serious updates, but as it is now be prepaired to be frustrated.

Laser cats!!!!!. I've been laughing for hours... Thts worth a buck all by itself. If you could take pics of your own cats and use them it would be 5 stars

Crazy Cats. This program set me off in every direction! I don't even like cats and just the ridiculousness of it made the whole thing worth while. Don't forget to leave the sound on when you're CatPainting.

Resizing. You need to make resizing easier.

Good but flawed. Great fun - but only two of the cats actually work properly with the laser effect. With all of the other cats, the lasers don't line up with their eyes (and often don't even line up with the cat at all) which kind of defeats the purpose. It would be much more fun if you could control the positioning of the laser beams (not just where they land, but where they originate from, too.) This bug needs fixing. Only two cats can have lasers :( I don't think I'll be buying more cats until it's fixed.

Consistently my app of the year. It’s just the best. The ability paste a sticker with a fat cat sitting in an explosion into a conversation is a game changer. Breathtaking and revolutionary 10/10 must have.

I like it. This is a fun app but limited in how it can be used. However for the price, worth it.

Charged per cat!. I was about to leave a review that this was my new favourite app until I checked my email. I was charged $1.60 twice for playing with ONE photo, presumably because I used a few cats. I think they must charge per cat. The animal shelter lets you pet them for free. I'm deleting this app now.

Where are my cats!?. I used to love this app. I loved getting new cats regularly. Now, I get notifications that I have a new cat...but the new cat is, well, invisible! All anticipation with no cat reward! I want my new cats back! Fix the bug!

Pay Twice Now. I loved Catpaint and certainly didn't mind paying for the app. Sprucing up my friend's photos was a blast. The latest update, however takes half of the previously available cats and requires an in app purchase to use them again (all the cats were previously provided in the app). I didn't mind paying for the novelty the first time but I'm not paying again. I gave you previously five stars, but I have to downgrade to one.

The best. This is the only app i've had on my phone for over a year. Soo much fun using the meows in unacceptable situations like movie theatres, resteraunts, etc. The only thing that would make it better is if there was an option not to randomize the meow sound effects. Or like a sound board page or something would be cool. Thanks guys! Love the app!

Waste. Waste of $1.00 I don't recommend it. It closes right away I haven't even been able to open it because the "update" hasn't even started!!! I tried to update it 2 days ago and it still hasn't started loading!!!!!

Fun buuutttt...... Really like this app but I'm Not sure about love yet... The resizing and basic adjustment of cats and parts is super frustrating. Might cause you to want to throw your phone across the room 😁

Not worth my 99 cents. It only gives you a small amount of cats to choose from and if you want another small amount of cat head stamps it costs 99 cents more. This app needs at least three times the number of cats to make it worthwhile. Don't buy.

Meowtastic!. This app is so fun! Do know that in order to have the cat heads, you do have to buy them! Its an additional dollar. I would like more cats though!

Dont buy it. I dont like this app at all! The pictures indicate that you get all kinds of cats but it turns out those dont actually come with the $1 purchase. If you want cat heads you have to pay extra. You cant text pictures you take either. It is a funny idea for an app but poorly executed.

Cute, but..... Really cute and funny. My cats freak out at the realistic meows. Problem is after about 1 month, it has stopped working. The "choose a cat" screen is completely blank - no more kitties!

Not worth the money. I thought this app was going to allow me to add laser beams to the eyes of people and animals in my pictures but all it does is add cats with laser beam eyes. It's entertaining but not worth .99. Give me control of the lasers and I'll up my rating!

horrible controls!. the controls on this are horrible making it pretty much useless. I sit there pinching & pinching trying to get it to rotate or change the size & it works maybe like 1 out of every 20 tries. & for some reason the thing I'm trying to NOT move will always rotate or change size. so frustrating.

Stopped working. I loved this app. I've had it for quite awhile now, but in the last few months it's stopped working. I can no longer choose a cat to use, because the screen with cats on it is completely blank. :(

Not a big variety. I was so excited to buy this app! I love cats! One problem: not too many cat selections. For a dollar, it should have more cat heads and possible explosions. Catwang is free and has a bigger variety! Not too cool. Please add more cats, but overall great app! I love it!
