Gave it a try after reading mixed reviews. After reading some really great reviews and more recently some really poor reviews. All of the poor reviews made reference to a recent change of owners and/or updates, as the downfall of what early on seemed to be a really useful app. So I was cautiously optimistic when I decided to give it a try and downloaded the app... Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed to find the negative reviews were all pretty much spot on. When searching a product by name or scanning a barcode, there was long wait times 30sec-1min or more to get results. With the results being mostly online retailer’s. Even when testing a common product found at Walmart/Target the results were not reliable. There was also what seemed to be an excessive amount of adds compared to other free or non-premium versions of apps. And the adds wouldn’t even bother me so much if the app was functioning as described in the App Store. Unfortunately I have to give 1 star due to the app not having any real usable functionality. I had the same results when trying out this app on my iPhone 11, on my iPhone Xr(work phone), and also on my partner’s Samsung Galaxy s10.

Why is this not popular?!. This app works and I love using it it has saved me money when I buy my games and funco pops

Not so good anymore. This app was wonderful a few years ago. Now it is below average and very difficult to use and get reliable information. Sometimes is it good to leave things alone and not try updating and making the app useless

Warehouse check in and PriceScanner.. Helps make my job easier and the customer gets the best deals.

Too many ads and doesn’t show all stores like it used to. (Update: Miss when it use to give ALL stores like major department and beauty stores. Now just gives a lot of online outlet/wholesale retailers. When I search Macy’s or Sephora, it will still have the product, even though it doesn’t show up on the list after scanning.) I loved when it was ad- free. And although I understand the need for them, the amount of ads is now excessive. And slows down the function of the app. I can google the product by upc by the time I’m done with a 30 second ad after every single scan. I’ve been using this scanner for quick use for my business for a while, but i’ve definitely been looking for a new app lately.

OK. The app seems to work all right - but none of my local grocery stores are included, including huge chains like Whole Foods, Aldi, or Trader Joe’s, so it’s not much good for grocery shopping. I also haven’t seen Costco as an option.

From useful to bizarre. Back around 2015, ShopSavvy worked pretty well: I often used it in stores to compare prices, and it almost always returned results of a useful range. Cut to 2022. Hadn’t used it in years and had a need to try it again. I scanned a UPC for wine labels and got back a list of results… every one of which weee for spark plugs! I scanned a UPC for something else and got results for businesses that no longer carried the item. Sooo…. I think we’re done here!

Boo. Two hours after download and I’m already lacking an ounce more of patience waiting for product results after I’ve used the app to search for a product. Almost completely defeats one of the sole reasons that the app exists. I’ve tried searching for 2 different products at 2 different times and have tried both with WiFi & with cellular data. In each situation the ShopSavvy screen stayed on the “searching” screen for so long that I eventually closed the app with fury (and still no results). Such a waste of time & energy invested in searching for an app and trying to use this one. 🙄

Wish I could use it. I have an iPhone11 and can not use this app because it won’t let me add it to my camera permissions. It comes up on the app and I click “enable barcode scanning” but it just turns opaque for a second and doesn’t actually do anything. Same thing for location services. I tried doing it manually going into Settings > Privacy > Camera but the app still does not show in those settings. Really would like to use this if you can figure out how to fix it I will surely change my review

Awesome app. Very functional nice interface saving me a lot of time between going to each proprietary site when you can do most of the work in one spot

GDG. Don’t know what you changed, but the app was excellent, but now it doesn’t work at all. Everything I scan goes to the same product, that I’ve never searched. Will be deleting the app after this review since it doesn’t work. Sometimes the old saying, “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it” is true in this case.

#1 GO TO APP FOR LOWEST DEALS ANYWHERE!!. This is my favorite app. For saving. I go in all my favorite stores and start scanning for. Saving. I actually had a price drop as I walk to the register in target. Will legit find the item and. Cheapest to you. I like the fact you can see you scan history. It lost one star because of the weird ads and my pervious scans were lost. I had some great finds there. I totally love this am

Good But Pro Feature Doesn’t Work. I purchased the monthly pro subscription to disable the annoying advertisements. Unfortunately the ads continue to display across the Search, Saved, and More tabs. I emailed support but haven’t heard anything in 3 days. I’d gladly pay the sub fee if it would work properly but I will probably have to seek a refund because the developer support has not been responsive. Overall, the app is good but does have some bugs. Sometimes when going to saved and researching items the search gets stuck on the initial phase and doesn’t return results. Closing out of the app and doing the steps again usually fixes the issue.

Full retail list. ShopSavvy doesn’t give a full list of retailers. Things like Dollar general and family Dollar don’t pop up when certain things are cheaper there. It is nice to see prices at Walmart, but if I can get things cheaper somewhere else, they also should be listed.

Hard to use. The app seems to be a very interesting, and I think that it might be good to use. However, they have so many ads in it that it is hard to see what you’re looking for. It’s possible that the paid version is much better but without seeing what it looks like it’s just too difficult to even use.

Worthless. Same as almost everyone else - just keeps searching - never completes. On rare occasions when it does find pricing, it’s online stores only. Used to be a great app-used it at Staples for comparing ink prices. Now a full cartridge would be used up in the time it takes for the app to “search”-LOL! Seriously, used to be great, now worthless.

Only missing coupon codes. The new updates is awesome! I love the browser extension, widget, and price drop alerts. This is easily the best price comparison app out there. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to automatically add coupon codes for specific retailers when you tap to go purchase an item. Apps like Honey have that feature and it helps you save even more.

Good luck. I love this app just scan the barcode then it shows multiple result, and which store they have the best deal that’s why they deserve five star.

Cuts out. I loved the convenience of this app however when they started with the ads, it’s been messing up . I scan a barcode the ad comes up and plays . If I try to get out of the ad after it’s played, the app cuts out.

Always Updated & Reliable!. This app has helped me by saving money on every day items and weekly/monthly items that I abut regularly. I was spending monthly about 100$ on cat litter until they showed me a price comparison for a website instead of in store and it came with a ton of perks! Thank you for your hard work & consistency with keeping up to date sale price and the distance all offers in store are from my location at any given time! Just a suggestion to get some more traffic and downloads as I am always sharing your App with friends with the same interests and “ShopSavvy” money saving needs like me! You should come up with a referral system that would be fitting for those of us who are always looking for the best prices and can share feedback on the validity as well as experience within our reviews with certain items and retailers!

Clunky & doesn't work. I’ve tried to like this app however anything from sharing products from a website to figure save list or searching them-unnecessarily complicated, doesn’t work and you’ll find easier solutions with apps like Pricepulse for websites like Camel Camel Camel so much simpler easier and they actually find the products you’re searching for

WAS my goto app for all shopping. This USED to be the app that I looked at for everything I needed (I loved the scanner option), but they stopped updating their resources so all prices show from three years ago. Now it’s NFG. I’ve put off deleting it, but if they haven’t updated it by now, it’s history.

My go-to scanner for shopping. I love this app! Anytime I like something I see and want to know where I can I buy it or for how much, just open this app and scan the barcode. Done! It’s so easy, very fast, and tackles a lot of headaches at Christmas time with having 4 kids and gifts galore! Need to know where an item came from to return it? Scan it with this app! Want to know how much something may cost? Or maybe where else you can buy it or if other stores prices are better?!?! Scan it, search for it, use this app!

App shuts down. When reviewing “watched” items, and upon refreshing the individual product, the search restarts, and the app shuts down and returns to my iPhone 12 PM home screen. Fix that, and I think the app would get a higher rating.

Doesn’t Work. I downloaded this app and tried several different barcodes and even tried to look items up, but the ‘searching’ button never went away. After about 10 minutes I uninstalled. Not sure how the app seems to work for some people, but it did not work for me at all.

It’s working a bit better when installed in Safari, but…. However, the iPhone stand-alone App leaves a lot to be desired. Please improve the App, as I think this App has a lot to offer. In my opinion, It’s a stand-alone App, meaning I haven't found another like it. With improvement I would use this App regularly.

Nearby mishaps. I’ve been trying this app and I gave it a one star because it didn’t include ANY of my nearby stores for comparison though I know the items are at the stores because I was IN them when I scan the item. I wanted to compare between Walmart (in store currently) and Target (down the street.) An unfortunate mishap. Uninstalled. Thank you.

Find an item. When I forget where I buy an item I can find it here and that’s major because I don’t have to go to several stores looking for the item, thank you with the gas prices now.

Used to love, now not so much. I have had this app for a few years and every year it provides less and less. Used to love using it when I was out shopping to compare prices...now it won’t show me any local stores. The only results I see are online. I can be standing in Walmart, target or Lowe’s and scan an item and it will show me items online only. Frustrating and a waste of my time. Due to this...I don’t use the app anymore. Plan on removing it unless somehow the developers surprise me and fix the issues I have and many others have stated in their reviews. I will be looking at others out there.

A faithful user! Go for it!. I have had this app since it came out and loved it. It has helped me a lot on doing good saving shopping! I even share it when shopping with other customers! Wonder Woman13

Dark mode issue. This app doesn’t show text on iPhone dark mode. There isn’t any setting in that app where you can turn off dark mode specifically to the ShopSavy app.

Wants to install Google, grab location data, didn’t work well for me. Thought this might be helpful, but was not. Wanted to download Google app first, bu why? If that’s how it works, or there’s some reliance on Google, why use this app? Not well explained. Then it wanted my location….okay, no. If the app found results and wanted to narrow results, I might have obliged. But, tell me why you need it and that you’re not going to use it against me somehow (spam me). In the end, it found nothing.

Cool app. In all ads popping up all the time is a little annoying.. and being required to leave a review just to see some of the store prices.. eh. It is what it is.

This is a must!!!. Great service that provides the exact cost if items!!!

You Pay to be Bombarded by Ad's. I subscribed thinking this would be a nice price tracking tool but I have been subjected to so many Ad's I had to cancel my subscription and look for an alternative app. Save yourself and just go find something else yourself, there is nothing you want to see here

Search results include phishing websites. I have been using this apps for years and use to love it. Recently I scanned a kettle I saw in Costco and savvy showed me a website with better price. I order the kettle from that website. However, that website just disappeared the next day. No order confirmation or shipping information. My email started getting tons of spam and my credit card detected a couple of unauthorized transactions in the other states. Be careful don’t ever order from small/ weird websites. It’s a good app for price comparisons tho.

App need some serious work. Had to revert back to free version because the App is not working like before not finding prices etc

Watch out for unwanted subscriptions. I used ShopSavvy happily for a while, but after not opening it during the pandemic, the next time I tried to check an item the app automatically subscribed me to something called ESRTV for $9.99 a month added to my Verizon bill. I cancelled the subscription, reversed the charge with Verizon, and blocked all future subscriptions. Then I deleted ShopSavvy and would never recommend you trying it.

Great for saving!!. I love this app to help me save $$$! Also to find out where to buy a product I see at someone else’s house!!

Ok app. Sometimes this is helpful to find a product, but often I just get “Product not found.” And now, with their free version, it makes you watch an ad first, to then get “Product not found” screen. Awesome...

Unfortunately ShopSavvy has been ruined.... ShopSavvy used to be one of the absolute best (if not thee best) barcode price scanner Apps available! Unfortunately, after the original creator(s) moved on/sold the App, ShopSavvy has gone severely down hill in recent years due to “someone” adding adware bloat & a painfully inefficient slow and overly bulky search experience - RIP ShopSavvy :’(

Paid for Pro and still has trouble showing results for anything. I made sure to disconnect from vpn, completely disable ad blockers/content blockers, and try searching multiple items. Still does t show any results like it did right before I bought the pro subscription!

What happened ???. Honestly. This used to be the best app. For the past few months, it has gotten worse on every update. I dont get results on most of the items i scan. And now the font is black in dark mode. I cant even see anything. Please go back to what it was a year ago. Otherwise i have to find another app to use.

Latest update camera access issue. Home page directs me to go to settings>privacy >allow camera App doesn't show under Camera. When I select "Go to Settings" it doesn't appear to be an option there. This is on iPhone 11. Thank you!

What happened?????. This app used to give the lowest price on items and I don’t k ow what happened! But it doesn’t work that way anymore! I often find the same products lower on price than what the app finds. The way I see it you were purchased by a company that doesn’t believe in doing that anymore. They must’ve changed the algaeythum ( spelling bad) to make it only show a couple of prices and Walmart is always on the list near the top and they aren’t the lowest price on the items. What changed that the app is now geared to these big box retailers that are more costly than other vendors!! Please, fix the app I used to love it now it’s just like doing a google search with the exception that it doesn’t show the lowest cost prices for the items. Thank You... RC

Works well, when it's not constantly crashing. At least 95% of the items I tap on to view price details cause the whole app to crash to my iPhone's home screen immediately after the "Searching for prices" screen opens. This happens both when searching for products and, on the rare chance I can get a product page to stay open long enough for me to add it to my watch list, when I tap on products from my watch list. If the app is this unstable when manually looking up prices I'm not sure how much I trust it to send me notifications of price changes when it's running in the background.

Does what it should, but dark mode is poorly implemented.. The app seems to work better than others. However in dark mode it’s almost unreadable as it’s a black text on a dark gray background.

The app doesn’t work. App keep browsing looking for a price and doesn’t show you the comparison. They charged me already and couldn’t even use it.

One small change would be a 5. actually shows you what you scanned. So many apps can not find the barcode or to see it you must upgrade after downloading the app and scanning the item. Good thing: After scanning the item it shows you the stores that carry it and prices so you can compare.

0% scanning success!. I’ve scanned many things from several different stores, both brand new and older items — it finds NONE of them. Just keeps popping up with adds and wanting me to pay to upgrade. If it worked well, I’d certainly consider that. But it doesn’t just not work well, it doesn’t work AT ALL :/ 👎🏼

Where have you been??. How could I have ever lived with out this app. It's awesome. Fast and experience some crashes but very stable.

Miss. I think the more people that use it the better it will get, if we upload our local prices an so on. I will continue using an update local deals, because I know I'll always want the cheaper deal!! :D

Focus Problem Arisen. With iOS 8 and an iPhone 5 the scan function no longer focuses the camera properly as it used to..

Good concept. However like others have said, scan barcode and only get picture and no other information. Does not work in australia

Apps constantly crashes. I wish I could give this app more stars as it has most of the features I want. However it suffers the fatal flaw of instability - constantly crashing when in use. That said, I like that the app can keep track of prices of products and compare against the same product in other locations. Things that could be improved: - want to be able to add a list of stores manually and not be the "current" location when you scan an item - when adding product, would like to be able to pick store from drop down list Overall, I would not use this version (4.2.1) of the app due to instability issues. However if that can be fixed, I would be more than happy to try the app again in the future.

Pretty good. Not bad the only thing is you can't save your prices like if I go to a shop and I scan 60 items it doesn't tell me the price on it and Disney add up but otherwise all good

The best barcode scanner app. This is the best barcode scanning app I could find. Ever since the updates it has been working fine for me and hasn't crashed. Also the scan has definatley improved which is good. I would still like to be able to type the number of the barcode in when a certain barcode doesn't scan so you can find the product. If you can already do this I can't find it. Over than that it's a great app

Great!. Most of the fun from this app comes from just scanning the barcodes! Haha. But seriously though: 13 out of the 15 random items I picked around the house worked like a charm on my iPhone 3G - and I live in Aus! The prices on some seemed a little dodgy (best price for a wii game was $500? Hmm...) but all in all this is a great, useful app which does what it says and does it well - and you have fun doing it too!

Very good. Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but just scanned a book barcode off a 2008 screen grab to find the price has really gone up in the last 4 years. Interesting!

Not happy. Same feeling as the previous user. I don't want to have to log in, or give personal details, or have the option of receiving offers, etc. I deleted from my phone.

Worked. I like this I what's looking fro something like this all the ones I tried didn't do much this one did

Misleading. I scanned for items that I brought (so I would know exactly how much they cost), it gave me prices of goods that were way more than what I payed for, from shops that aren't anywhere near me; plus half the goods won't even show up.

It actually works. There are many barcode & QR scanners but few actually work however, this one actually does and it works well.

Your joking. Loaded this app up for the first time in 6months. You want all my personal details so I can scan a barcode? You've got to be joking. Disgusting behavior. The only reason I'm not instantly deleting this app is because I am curious as the weather you get your sh1t together.

Failure big time. I want a barcode scanner but this app demands an 'account' so personal information including email address, a photo, access to Facebook etc.... Trash it!! Invasion of privacy. Think you will either be bombarded with spam or worse!!!! Very dodgy

Shop savvy. This is a handy app to have and fun to if your kids wanna play shop assistants. I know I love it to, I run around the house zapping anything with a barcode!! He he tonnes if fun

It works, but.... It works quite well, but as far as I can tell there's no way to limit the search results to Australian stores.

Instantaneous Scan. This app scans barcodes amazingly fast. I agree it was painfully slow with older versions, but now with 4.01, there is literally no time spent waiting. Give it a try if you don't trust me - it's free :) Shopsavvy also seems to have a larger Australian database than competing apps (from the few items I've tested). I think this is down to the ease with which users can add new items. Saying that though, Australian support for all these comparison shopping apps is pitiful right now, so lets all help this app reach it's potential, and get scanning!

Meh. Makes you sign up for for an account and sign in to use it and also try's to make you share on fb. People just want something that is quick and easy to use, if they made it like that it would become popular.

Does not live up to the hype. Isn't that much use for us Aussies. Would be nice if they made it more compatible for us. Not overly user friendly, maybe that's because it designed for us & uk. Ok to muck around with.

Mediocre Product Scanning Range, Other Features of More Interest. The catalog of items that this app scans through hasn't recognised the majority of things I've scanned and wants me to lodge a new item in the catalogue for it with a approval process that for a good while, is incomplete to this date for any additions I made. Price comparison is useless effectively as it doesn't distinguish between regions at all sadly and has no obvious option to. This likely adds to the inability to recognise many products unless its as mainstream as an iPad or a Samsung Galaxy S4 for pure (have not accessed or tried on these items) example here. It might be of some use only in the USA/Canada for more products; the comparisons it makes are only valid in those countries anyway as well as all the other items it offers in the various browsing sections split between interests, ongoing sales and similar. Here in Australia, I'm sad to report it's next to useless as a real app for price comparison. The UI is okay, it works smoothly but the real flaw is not doing what it advertises.

ShopSavvy. Not much use in Aus. No info on items. Scans many things OK but the rest you have to enter all the product info yourself which is painful and pointless. Probably only for US and Euro.

Not yet ready for Oz. I was hoping earlier user comments had prompted the addition of Aussie content but unfortunately it hasn't happened yet. I scanned maybe 30 different items and got only 1 price result. I realize it is not possible for developers to keep everyone happy but there are lots of customers in Oz! :-) I for one would happily pay for this app if it worked in my country. Interestingly most other barcode reader apps seem to get the same feedback ie doesn't work in Australia. The first to fix this problem will clean up.

Great app, awesome on the go.... Makes things easier...

Works, but... The camera on the iPhone works fine as long as there's enough light. The products brought up are accurate, but the comparison prices are always really expensive US prices. It doesn't seem to compare locally to Australian prices.

Barcode clarification. Use app To double check barcode was scanning correctly, prior to product being released into the market.. Very useful..

Confused. I was wanting to scan a product... And then find the best possible price... So far I just get a picture of product, no price and on opening app first time I was asked to rate it ! So I shall rate it now as disappointing .

Scan doesn’t see any products. Despite there being products on all the websites it scans the search results on this app show 0 results each time. Useless app. Deleted.

Great app!. Great idea, fairly well executed- scanning works fairly well (with a 3g, assume it would be better with a 3gs). Very good, easy to use interface.

Super garbage. I scanned a perfume. Barcode,it returned a blue bag. It seam the scanner doesn't work but advertisement .

Useless. Every product I scanned says there is no local stores, also says there is no products online and has no stores anywhere in the map. This is a useless app, thankfully it was free..

Great, but no Canadian support. I love how it scans accurately but I can't see any info fom Canadian online stores or even local Canadian stores. All I see is items from the US. It would even be helpful to set the currency in Canadian dollars as well.

Nothing so far found in Canada!!. Not much help if it doesn't scan anything locally.

Problems. I live in Toronto Ontario and I get online prices for Walgreens. How can I get local prices online eg Shoppers Drug Mart our Walgreens?

Worked first time then never worked. I used to have this app o. My iPhone 3GS and it worked excellent. Then when I got it on my iPhone 4 it worked once and then whenever I try to scan anything it crashes???

Wish I could give this 0 stars.... I tried this app right after downloading it, scanned a barcode, and it worked. It gave me stores in the US, annoying... After shutting down the app for the first time the app never worked again. Every time I try to scan something the app crashes, this has been happening for over a week. Don't waste your time, if you want to save money, buy everything on eBay... There's an app for that!

Useless. Did not show prices

What a waste of a good idea. Doesn't work! Tried where I live in Canada. Doesn't work. So I tried when I was in the States and it doesn't work. Well, it does scan but it brings up something different than what you are scanning. Don't waste your time right now!!

SAAAD. ALL that hype all for nothing. Sad i app developers forget about the huge country north or the usa no compatiblity SAAAAD

Not for Canadians. Had luck in Best Buy in Windsor but never ever in Canadian Tire, Zehrs, small convenience stores. Would be an awesome tool if it worked

Not for iPod. This is probably not a bad app but it does not work for the bad quality camera on the iPod touch.

Useless. Why would anyone put out an app that does NOT work. I wonder if the reviews are real or if they made them up.

Doesn't work in Canada. Useless. Can't even find its own recommended products in the Canadian market.

Junk. Absolute garbage, said it was a barcode scanner, did nothing of the sort. Pure trash!

Does not open. Down loaded the ShopSavvy update. It will not open on iOS 4

What about Canada?. App may be good in U.S. but does not work in Canada - should be removed from Canadian store.

Invasive. Sent me to rate it with no way to escape, in the middle of trying to use the app for the first time.

Does not work. Full of ads, search super slow and the styles in the app seem totally broken, can barely read the text. There is zero value in using this, you are better off searching on Google, stay away.

Useless. Doesn't work at all in Canada: it recognizes the product but provides no pricing nor comparisons. You really should specify this in your write-up, I feel ripped off by this!

Brilliant idea. Honestly, the idea is so brilliant - but the retailers are so limited that almost all the products I scan show nothing. Once it includes almost all grocers someday, this will be incredible.

Not worth it. Must hold phone very very still, slightest movement will cause it to fail. Worse of all, this app does not support Canadian stores, so what's the point?

Terrible.. After downloading, I became violently ill and my wife and I separated. This app ruined my life. Terrible app, do not waste your time.

Not opening ofter ios 14 update.. Even reinstalling didn’t helped

Your new pop up add fill up whole screen and confuses. Your new pop up ads from Google fills up whole screen and confuses us to buy those new apps. Please change the way it is shown or complain to Apple. I accidentally bought an app and then I had to cancel it

Ads with auto-playing audio. Playing ads with audio automatically is completely unacceptable for an app you want to use in retail stores!

Unusable by Design. I cannot use the app. The ad at the bottom covers the button to close the informational popup message. That informational message covers the “enable camera” button to use the scanner, so I cannot scan anything.

Doesn’t work. I tried this app on several items and all it would do was to say it was “searching” but it never found any of the items.

Shop Davy. When I first got this app it was helpful easy to use and showed every price imaginable in my area. Now I can barely get a price from it it’s got so many things that need to be looked at chosen from and put on my phone. You’re ruining your own product and service

Money saver. This is my go to app when I am searching for the lowest price of an item in my area. Love love love this app

Recent update. Total crash. Just got a new update for this shopping app. Now it won’t open. Crashes immediately Update Apparently had to shut phone off then restart. Now the app works great again.

Would pay to remove ads. Helps me compare prices for my customers, but takes too long to continually close pop ups

Ok. Takes a long time not to find prices. Doesn’t tell you anything about the item, only gives you a map to retail stores.

Enjoying the app!. Does what I need it to do. Love that it’s free and I’m not being pressured to upgrade also not bombarded with ads. I recommend!!

Not working. So when I updated from the original app it didn’t work. I deleted and reinstalled and still did not work. It scans but doesn’t do any comparing or loading of other prices. I deleted again and reinstalled and to this day it does not work.

What are they up to?. Every morning my iPhone battery is at 2 percent. I checked the battery app and discovered it was this app doing a background update all night. I have background refresh turned off so they have figured a way around Apples controls. I’m pulling their plug and reporting this to Apple.

No Price Found. Products that show up lots of hits when you manually search the UPC number below the barcode on Google = No Price Found Products from the stores that supposedly the app searches = No Price Found Uninstalled.

Didn’t work. Downloaded app, scanned 12 everyday items in my fridge and it found none of them. Tried to submit this app, won’t allow a review to be sent if your have the same name as another person reviewing this app. Lol, total joke now...

App doesn’t work. Just downloaded. Nothing scans. Even the example scan of the TV just pulls up one result. And that one result said $42. Out of curiosity of a $42 high end TV, I clicked it. It matched to a very expensive baby bottle. This app doesn’t work.

Deleted. This used to be one of my favorite go to shopping apps for comparing prices. After the last year or so it is now worthless. Too many ads, and often times the prices they show are completely incorrect.

I can’t even use the app.. I can’t even begin to use the app. It says “perform a search above to continue,” whenever I click inside the box to type, the app shuts down & takes me back to my Home Screen.

Terrible!. I have not used the app for a while. Came back to ads and wrong prices and wrong items as well as a lot less features! Very disappointed!

WAS an amazing app once.. Was a great app for finding anything Until recently. Too many bugs and ads that don’t easily allow you to close them. Uninstalled.

Recent changes ruined this app. Just tried using the app after not trying it for several months. It’s awful. Changes since I last used it have made it practically useless.

Doesn’t work. I tried finding a product (life cereal) and gave up after watching the wheel spin and seeing searching for two minutes

Too many ads on free version. If they had asked for a reasonable price to remove ads, it would be worth it . $20 per year is asking for too much to get ad free version.

Not sure how this app rates 4.5. It doesn’t work. I was in the store while trying it, twice. Incorrect information twice. Wasted my time with it. I wouldn’t believe or trust these good reviews.

Regretful Download. This app is the worst scanner I’ve ever used, it “scans” the barcode but doesn’t take me to a page nor compare any prices. It’s so slow and constantly pushes ads on me. Worst barcode scanner app, would not recommend!

New update. Too many adds. The scan takes for ever now and doesn’t even give you right pricing. Terrible and if they do t fix it, it will be deleted from my phone soon.

USED TO BE A GREAT APP. All it gives you now is online information for some reason. I never see any local stores listed anymore. Even something as simple as toothpaste. IDK, They must have a “pay for” version now if the app. No way to tell it I don’t t want online info.

Not much help. This app on tv looked great finding product in nearby stores. For me i scanned many items and only got online. Then scanned got local stores but not the closest or most common. No target, or supermarkets even thiugh they were within feet of my location. I do not recommend

Waste of time. Takes too long to search item.I tried two different items add pulled up the item name but no stores.

Great Love it!. It is quick and easy to use and very useful.

Doesn't work. I tries to scan different items and it just spins. I gave up after waiting 3-5 minutes each time for nothing to come up.

Rarely Compares Local Prices. Every time I try to use this app, it gives me prices for online retailers I have never heard of. Occasionally, it will provide me with a local store, but usually only Target.

Never finds anything. Searching signal goes round and round. Never comes up with anything including very common items. Don’t waste you time on this one.

...just waiting, and waiting, still waiting!. How did this app manage to pull off a 4.5 rating? Hella HELLA slow. By the time it loads comparison pricing i probably could’ve just gone to each individual site and checked price for myself. Maybe even faster than the app does!

Hmmmmm. It takes so long I could’ve just as well searched all the websites myself. I do not have the patience to wait all day for some comparison prices to come up. I deleted this app within 5 min of waiting for one item. No thank you!!

Keeps going downhill. Such a promising app - going astray now. Seems like I lost all my saved items, newly saved also does not show up. Hopefully some one does some basic testing to ensure the user flow works seamlessly. So much potential here.

Don’t work. Doesn’t work all the time in the store just keep searching and searching and searching! What good is it if you can’t find a price in the store, that’s what you got the app for. Yes I have everything turned on in my settings..
