Lpn. Easy to use! Great If u only need to look up the basics. One thing that could make it better is if it would use key letters without having to type in the full name of the drug. Other than that I would definitely recommend it.

Old app was great. I don't know which fool decided that having to input in the pill identifier info only to redirect me a second prompt for the same information, but they broke what was once a useful app. You should not need my location to use this app and despite constantly telling it that I will NOT NOT NOT turn on location services and approve that function, it nags me to do so. App is now deleted and I will download something more useful than this once great app.

Med Passer. I work as a med passer and I find this app very useful, because it gives the brand name and the generic name. Also, when a patient asks me what a pill is for, I just look it up and let them know.

Great app!. This is a very useful app especially for a mom of a medically fragile child with epilepsy. Her meds change so much and I like having this app to check what she will be taking before I pick it up.

I love it!. I am a lvn student and this app is great for looking ups meds when in the pts room and I don't have access my Davis book. It is well worth the purchase. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat!

Missing many drugs. I was excited to get this to look up my medications. I could only find 2 of my 10 Rx and most of them are generic. The pill identifier was a joke. It seriously lacks most colors, it doesn't label the shapes until you already enter a drug and then back up to a completely different screen. They're arranged by drug maker but are in no way comprehensive of the available makers or even the meds made by one maker. DO NOT RECOMMEND. It's not worth the money, or even the time it takes to download.

Disappointed. I found some drugs that other apps did not have especially non US brands although not having French brands was a let down especially that they are quite prevalent in many countries. It would have been useful if the dosage info was given as well as other info normally found on the literature in the box. Sent while on the go

Very resourceful. This was I think to be the cheapest app for medical doctors and it has a lot of information regaurding the types of medications it has in it's directory. You will find yourself in amazment at what type of information about each drug contains

Great for firefighters. I use this a lot on EMS calls, especially when patients don't know what they are taking or what they are diagnosed with. The pill ID by shape and color comes In handy too

THIS IS GREAT!. We take an assortment of meds in my household, and this makes it easy to understand what they are, and what they are for. The pill organizer is a wonderful idea! I work in health care, and the staff will often ask me to look up a med! Great app...well worth having and keeping!

New update made it crash. Update causes crash won't open tries but crashes. Uninstalled then reinstalled same thing, now I have nothing should have left it alone :(

Health care professional. For what I do, I want quick dirty look at the medication. I need to know what it does. I want know types and categories if variou medication. This current format is lot easier to use than the prior version.

Invaluable to anyone taking medication.. From identifying pills you have or like me, finding the manufacturer who makes your meds in half dose pills, this app is the best. Find all you need to know about all your meds here. Thanks for a handy app that you can take anywhere and use anytime.

App User. This app is very helpful. My friend was getting rid of some older meds that her late mom had and she was wondering what they were and I could tell her right away.

App soooo useful for Nursing/Pharmacy Tech students. I've found this app to be so helpful with learning medications/drugs as I move through my education. The quick information is also helpful with looking up my own medications. Great and useful App. In response to the last review, each pharm manufacture can make or produce the drug differently than another. Making this information vital to knowing who makes the drug. Very worth having!

Barely Useful. App does NOT give the various mg makeup of medications such as Norco, Augmentin, Vicodin. $0.99 is too much for this app.

Perfect. Very convenient to quickly look up drugs while working at the pharmacy. Maybe a nicer-looking icon?

COULD have been a great App. Several things really bother me with this App. 1. They do not provide a field where you can ID the user. Multiple users cannot use this App. 2. I spent a considerable amount entering my medications. Afterwards I was shocked to learn that the App does not provide a feature that allowers the user to actually have a list of their meds. I took it for granted that an App that promises to provide you a listing of your meds. 3. I really want my money back; but Apple is too smart for that. They know that all too often a poorly developed App will slip through the cracks. I will remove this App ASAP. Along with removal will come another One-Star rating. Too Bad. I had high hopes.

One of my favorites. I love the convenience of this application when searching for medication. The only thing I would like to see is. When a particular medication is brought up on the search panel; it would be nice to see other medication that treat the same medical conditions. IE: Prozac and a list of other medicines that could be used instead of it.

Good job. Info is fairly up to date. I use it when my Dr suggests new meds

Really useful. As I work in both Canada and the US, this app really helps with the tendency of American providers to use brand names rather than generic names when ordering meds.

Getting there.... I wish there was more info for each drug... As a nursing student and having to make hundreds of med cards for pts during clinicals, it would be nice if the following info was included... Generic name, trade name, recommended dose, pharmacological action, clinical uses, side effects, drug/food interactions, and any implications that need to be done before administering the drug.

EXTREMELY USEFUL!!!. Especially if you can't remember what dose of a drug you're taking...just find the image of the pill you take and it shows you how many milligrams are in it. Also helpful if you find a loose pill lying around--you can easily find out what it is. Can search by name, shape, color, markings, imprints etc. It also gives uses, warnings, and contraindications. I really like having this app.

Mamaw Jones. Love this app! Wish it included more info on side effects cause I've had to go to other websites after finding my medication on this site for additional information. Also would like if it would prompt on misspelled names to the correct drug and spelling. Thank you for listening and hopefully applying some of the suggestions!

Great app. Does everything I need it to do....I'm a pharmacy tech and I frequently use it to look up generic/brand equivalents and drug usage information...the only reason I'm not giving all 5 stars is because it doesn't blow me away ;-)

Great response. This app is great, not only as a reference, but response to inquiries is the best I have seen. On three occasions I have used their feedback system when I couldn't find a drug. One of the drugs was simply misspelled, the other two were added at the next update just as Kavapoint said they would in the email response I received quickly after my inquiry.

Keeps crashing. When I try to search a drug the app keeps closing.

Pill identifier doesn't work. Misleading... I bought this specifically because I thought that it had a pill identifier... It's very misleading... It claims to have one and even appears to have one... But if you try to use it it just opens up some external website. Bottom line is it doesn't really have a pill identifier and they should not advertise that it does. The rest of the app is ok, not bad but pretty mediocre but at least the other parts do actually work.

For average user.. This app is geared more for the non medical user. Pros: clean easy to read menus, fast, correct pricing at 0.99, less dependent on Internet connection. Cons: anemic on number of meds in data base, search may need the name of company making the drug, limited dosages available. Not a bad first app for drugs. A step up maybe needed.

Great App. This app creates a very convenient way of looking up any pill you can think of. No more having to go to Safari and open up six pages of websites. Great buy!

Good but could be better. Informative app but would like to see the drug classification under pill name in search results (ie. class I or II) to help aid officers in possession cases.

Good to have and to know. With all of my health issues this app helps me out a lot. Taking about 12 different medicines, I'm able to read more about the medications I'm taking that the pharmacist didn't tell me. Also, showing me what the pill actually looks like is great. Awesome job on this app.

Fix the app!!. Ive purchased this app since last 4 yrs i guess.. since last year or last 2 years the app keep crushing.. now i cant even use the app anymore.. pls do something about it!!

Great addition to my medical library. I am a Family Physician, and I find this app very usefull. I almost didn't buy it, but I'm so glad I did (some of the reviews are missdirected). I have always hated using the PDR (so user unfriendly, wastes too much time). This app gives me all the FDA drug info on my iPhone. It gives me access to the real pharmacokinetics and the complete drug insert. Yes, the info is dense, but it is invaluable when you need it. I love having it so accessable. An incredible resource. This has good info for patients. But from my viewpoint, the FDA info that it links you to is great and necessary for providers. A true time saver, and a medically important resource. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Excellent!. I use this to check every detail about meds perscribed for my disabled toddler and aging father. I can question the doctors intelligently about their reasoning and understand their response because of this app!

Needs work. The information is not that useful. The search doesn't do partial searches, offer alternatives for misspellings, or search as you type. You pretty much have to get it right. Then it offers a dozen of the same drug, but different manufacturers, which is useless duplication. The FDA button locks it up. You have to quit. Really poor implementation of what could be a useful and vital app.

Prescription Drugs. If this had a section where I could keep my and my husbands medication list as well, I would buy in a heart beat. I am somewhat disappointed now. Doctors, ER personnel, etc are always wanting to know and if there have been changes. So a date would be helpful too. My husband is a heart patient and daughter has MS. We have lots of drugs to keep track of. Thanks for listening.

No good. I paid for this App and every time I try opening it the App crash. Fix it or refund me my money.😡

CMT. In my job,all I do is pass medication. I find this app very, very helpful.. Takes less time then flipping through a book. and several times, I had no ideal what a certain pill was, I just used the app, and found out within 30 seconds.. What a saver.. 5 stars

Avoid if you're in aus!. As said, very poor for aus users. Searched quite a few drugs but couldn't find them.

Australian non professional. Excellent for the lay user. Only basic information but that is all I need. I would note that not international but this is perhaps related to the drug companies and not related to the app

Pointless. Used this to verify certain generic drugs were same as medium and didnt even have a clue.

*FAIL. The first medication I searched, was not found....then the second one I searched was also not found! They are not that obscure and have been around for many years. I suffer Crohns disease and often need to take medications that I would like to know about. This application has not satisfied my needs at all.

Paramedic. Wish I'd read these reviews first. Got excited over potential then letdown over the reality. Wouldn't have it if they paid me the $1.19....

App review disappointed. I typed in five well known drugs and the app couldn't find them. Am pretty disappointed as I need it to identify meds that my rehab clients are taking to determine effects on bp hr and exercise capacity. I will be deleting this app asap.

If your a professional DONT. States drug indication and contraindication. Info is basic and limited. Doesn't mention side effects or usual dose. Contraindications is ridiculously limited. Too basic for any professional to use

Not for Aussies. Completely agree with the comment below. Many of the drugs available in australia, aren't listed at all in this app. Also, it would be helpful if you added a "category" search. For example, hypnotics, antipsychotics, antianxieties etc. This would make particular drugs easier to find. Similarly, adding a search tool for specific diagnosis', or symptoms could be helpful. On the up side, having availability to the CMI for each drug is great. :)

Paramedical. This application is aimed at the lay person. If you are in the medical profession DO NOT BOTHER.

No good for aussies. Wish I had read reviews first. Should be able to pick country of choice for meds. We have similar thing here but very very expensive $170 per year subscription and when you don't pay again it stops working. Otherwise it's pretty good and the pill checker is a great idea.

Limited usefulness. This app has a limited database. Also does not save your favourites locally therefore always needs a network connection. Would be nice to have a more extensive database and ability to locally save favourites FDA info, although probably copyright issues

Highly useful. I use this app almost daily on the wards. I just hope i dont rely on it as much as as i do on those amphetamines.

TGA versus FDA. Good app, consideration needs to be given to the difference in the way the FDA in the United States, clears drugs versus the TGA here in Oz most of these meds are FDA approved and a lot of the TGA approved drugs are absent due to being UK and Australian by manufacture. Most of the primary drugs remain- I like the label, and pill identifier features- great for paramedics or medical staff who are trying to ascertain consumption without bottles or scripts. And the TGA often trends with the FDA regarding contraindications and labelling, so the info can still be relevant.

Ms. I have tried to looked up many standard drugs and this App can not find them. I am really disappointed and feel this App is a waste of time as a nurse I have to revert back to my text books :-(

Useless in Australia. This app does not have the brand names of even the most common drugs in Australia (e.g., Panadol) and so is of almost no use here.

No in depth info. The app is alright for what it costs. It is a quick reference on what category and use a drug has, not much more. No talk about how it's metabolized, excreted, how it works, or interactions with other drugs. 2 stars as it is cheaply priced.

Missed the mark.. What good is a description of what a pill is made of, how it works, and side effects without giving dosage? Primarily storing medication info AND dosage was why I purchased this app. I gave it two stars for the info it got right, and for the interface which was easy to navigate.

Depends. Everytime I need an answer to my question I am able to find it. The thing is I use it less than once a month. Rx Tech ;)

T. Use this app to check every prescription. You can never know too much about what you are taking. Dr.'s are just as human as we are and can once in a great while make a simple mistake.

Very useful. This is a great drug app. I would not say it is completely comprehensive, but it also does not cost 50 dollars! Well worth the money. As an RN I use it all the time.

Great, Great, Great Apps!. One thing it is missing that doesn't show how many Mg? Also don't tell how many separations of that medication has? For Example 5mg, 25mg, 50mg. It may be helpful if they have these info?

Helps. This has been great help at work when I meed to look up a med I'm not familiar with or when I just want to find out more info on a med I'm giving.

Great tool for the job. As a community health worker, this helps me help my patients understand their meds. With the push for cost saving generic drugs, there is alot of anxiety when a med shows up with a different name. This app let's me show them that it's the same med & OK to take.

Nurse. This app has really come in handy I have enjoyed using it when my EHR has not updated my drug data base . It comes on handy when it is not handy to grab the PDR

It's "okay". The information I there. I would like a little more readily available information on the contraindications and pills that could cause aide effects if taken with that pill.

App review. With elderly family being prescribed different medication on what seems monthly basis, this app comes in very handy in keeping all medications straight.

Mr.. It is informative. Great quick reference. It not only tells you about medication but also lists different manufactures of same drug. Beats thumbing thru a book that may be out of date.

Good for one thing. I work in a hospital in an environment where I run across a very wide array of medications. This program is useful for identifying the spelling, and the indications of each medication. But does not show appropriate dosing information, therefore this program is no substitute for a nursing drug handbook. But does serve a useful service in the right context.

Great start, missing some. It would be nice to have more pills identifiable, also, pictures of them, and the ability to have a list of pills that I'm taking listed

My review of app. I am so glad to have this app available. Sometimes our meds don't give what they are for and we don't know. This tells us. Sometimes a pill is separated from bottle. This app can tell you what it is. Love it.

A MUST HAVE for EVERYONE. An extremely useful tool! Look up a prescribed medication or over the counter (OTC) products and find out all about each one.

Poor navigation. Was looking forward to finding more info for each substance, and better navigation (I.e., accessibility) and there is neither with this app. It is painful to look up any drug... Long moments spent just scrolling through the longest list. What a wasted effort, not taking the time to make data useable :(
