Awesome!!!!! Love it!. I love this app...let's me practice along to the songs i do in my band...great practice tool! Though the 50 free song collection was good, could not find all the songs I wanted in the 50 free songs, so I signed up to get all 6000 songs...wow...amazing recordings...sounds just like the original. If you hate life, music, or singing, this app aint for you. If you like that stuff, you'll love it.

Great bar style karaoke. Bad videos scrolling words and tons of songs. Totally fun app.

iKJ. So first of all people that are asking for the "real" version of the song and not a cover are not true Karaoke enthusiasts, or you would know you pretty much NEVER get the original version due to rights issues. You get the background instrumentals and sometimes some assisting vocals to help out. The best recordings sound like the originals minus the words, but still are not. I liked the amount of content you get for your initial purchase here. 50 songs for $0.99 is really not bad at all. The background images - cheesy - but then - they always are. Its part of the Karaoke experence. The registration process is much too cumbersom. All and all, good app.

wi-fi. its says NOTHING about needing wi-fi!!! you know it says take it where ever you you go when it should say take it any where that has a router connection. if i could give it 0 stars....i would!!

Great potential. This is what I've been looking for. Karaoke that I can use with AirPlay. I don't mind spending money. I just need more songs. Metallica, pearl jam, audioslave, mad season, etc...

Covers, but not bad for .99!!!. For a buck it’s not a bad app. Having original artist would be better of course but at what price? Definitely more for the kids: but again a good app for a buck. There is way more songs included than I thought there would be too.

Privacy concern with a Karaoke App. I have yet to open this program so I can't tell you if I like it or not, but when I tried to establish and 'account' it asked for my email and to create a password, etc... then it asked me to accept their privacy policy. I will tell you one thing, I didn't like what I read. Seems as though they are apt to share information to 3rd parties that I'm just not comfortable with. I didn't get this kind of thing with much more extensive apps yet a Karaoke App has this lofty privacy policy? I'm not comfortable with that and so I may be deleting this app unless I can sign up without having to accept the policy wording. Seriously.

They no longer have info on the song key anymore. They only show the song key info when you play the song and not when it’s on the list anymore.

It's ok??!!. I downloaded this more for my daughter to play but it's kinda risqué, well the ones I have done. The graphics more than the songs. But the overall layout seems fun. Layout out cool, seems easy to use.

Simply awesome. This does exactlly what it says! Totally worth the 99 cents for 50 songs...And $2.99 for a monty subsciption for more songs is an awesome deal. Don't listen to the negative reviews. I haven't had any issues at all. I don't understand what some idiots are complaining about.

Great music great fun. Really fun and easy to use. I think this is a great app and love the selection of songs.

Its okay for what it is.... The log on is really long and on my phone (Edge) it takes a REALLY long time to load the video associated with the song so I may be biased in my review. I don't really need the video and would be just fine with the music background and the lyrics. Being able to record would have been a nice feature. Also the volume of the phone (the phone, not the program) doesn't make it easy to hear the music over one's singing. I don't know what I was expecting from this application but it does seem to be lacking in some respect but it may be more the limitations of the phone as opposed to the program.

Cheesy. Even for karaoke. Background videos are lame. And where are the original artists? Not a lot of free songs but the subscription fee is not bad to access the other ones.

Fun and great songs. The selections of songs are really diverse and the app is really simple to use. Highly reccommended.

How do u record. I tried everything

App in the Samsung TV does not work!!. I just signed up and only some songs play…very disappointing!!!

I want the actual musicians. In this app there are music videos linked to lyrics without a lead singer in the song. The idea is smart, but they don't have a lot of songs for each genre. They also put in the ok songs and the bad ones, not the incredibly good hits. The main problem is they had no musicians come in and record for them. The music is redone by people who don't sound anything like what the origional song sounded like. Not to mention none of the songs have the actual music video with it. It's just a random videos that might make sense depending on the song. This app was only a success for my 10 year old sister who didn't notice that the musicians weren't there or that the the music videos weren't the actual ones. I don't recomend this app to anyone who really pays attention to music or wants the actual sound or distinctive singers. Only get this app for young people who don't notice these differences or you've tried it on a friends iPod and know you like it

Recordings. Are you able to record your vocal to the track and save it as a wav file?

Recording. It's a cool app but I thought I could record myself singing with the music. Is it supposed to do that? If so how?

Neat idea. I've been a fan of Karaoke and games like Rock Band for some time now. I love the interaction with music. The biggest thing that's missing from this game is the social interaction. That's what really makes these types of games fun. Sure you can record your song and get votes on it, but it's still not the same. The App itself is well made, and I only experieced a couple issues. One of which is the startup load time. WAY too long. Another was I was trying to listen to someone else's recording and couldn't exit, so I had to exit to App altogether. The beginning choice of songs was well made and gives a nice varity. I like that I can play with this App for only .99, with the option for more later.

It's ok.... Great songs to choose from but it gives u the impression that u will be able to record and playback yourself singing. Obviously you can't do that from your iPhone. I thought it would more like the glee ap and you could hear your self through the head phones. A little disapointed.

Huge selection of songs for a buck. I thought the videos were exactly what you'd get in a Karaoke bar and the music quality was just as good if not better. A wide range if catchy tunes for the first buck and the option for more is great. Nice app all around.

No recording feature. Good selection. Monthly sub is the same as the online but you can't record on the app version plus if you want both online and app subs you have to pay for both. Deal breaker!

Not good. I dont think it’s very good it only plays half of song it’s skips the beginning

Fun app. For 99cents this app is a great, cheesy fun. You can actually read the words for all your favorite cheesy songs. The quality of the music and sound is pretty god, although sometimes the image is a little delayed. If anything, its great practice before you go do it for real!

Don’t download this. This app might as well cost money I can’t do a single song and the only songs I can do are songs I don’t like and my favorite songs are apparently 30 second samples and I really hate that don’t download this

Lots to choose from. There are a lot of recent songs to choose from in this app and it's super easy to navigate. I like that you can choose favorites too so you don't have to go searching for songs that everyone likes to sing the most. Pretty good videos to go along with the music too. My favorite part is the "Recordings" tab, which has other people's uploaded karaoke performances - soooooo entertaining!

Not what I thought. This only works when near wifi or have internet near you. Also there is just about 50 free songs of all different genres, so if for example if you like rock then you only have a few options for free songs. You have to pay more if you want other songs, so for the price you pay it is misleading as you then have to pay more.

I'm a good singer. At least I think so. This is a lot of fun to play with. Loads of songs and super cheesy videos!

No family sharing. Developer says this app supports family sharing. If it does it’s extremely complicated and does not work properly. Also good luck if you need these guys. Nothing like a 2/3 day email chain exchange when you have a karaoke party that night.

Read it carefully. I love to karaoke and when I was reading the information, it sounded terrific. Pros: a lot of song choices Cons: if you are not going to commit to being a memer online $9 a month, it's not worth it because you can't hear or record yourself. I hope this helps!!

Really fun. Sure I'd like more songs but that's how it is at karaoke. There are still a ton of good songs to sing with. As close to real karaoke bar karaoke as I've found.

Good for some. For those who like to diva out at the local karaoke bar but need a little practice, this is the perfect app. The words are synced up with the music and the the background music is good. I wouldn't personally want to record myself singing and make it accessible to the everyone, but it's nice that there's the option out there for others. I don't know how well this app would work if you wanted to do karaoke at a party, but if you're using it for your own personal use it's pretty good.

Singing. All Night Long I love this app and think it's priced perfectly.

Almost a good app. There are lots of songs...however, not ever the one I'm looking for. I'm completely willing to pay for a subscription if I could trust them to have at least the currently popular songs. Even my local dive bar KJ has better selection.

Rip off. This app is a complete rip off. The fact that it does not allow you to use your cable subscription to their channel reflects insincerity, greed, and a complete lack of customer service.

Great. My daughters love playing with this app. It's got a great selection of new and older songs and very clear text. The cheesy backgrounds are lost on them but make me smile.

Entertaining. Overall this app does exactly as advertised and is fun when you have nothing else to do. Song selection is fairly decent and has a lot of the most popular songs that I like. Plus its fun to sing along with my horrable voice.

Good concept but not quite there yet. Good concept. Free songs are excellent and the store has thousands of awesome songs. It's a shame you cannot buy individual songs though and have to pay monthy subscription to play the rest. Would be great if you could play this offline too. Takes ages for each song to load

The best Karaoke app. I perform at karaoke clubs about once a week and was looking for a way to practice at home. This is perfect cause I can just lie down on my sofa and practice all I want on my iPhone. Don't need to stay in front of my PC anymore. And you just can't beat the 2.99 subsciption for 6000 songs... Can't wait for them to add recording to this app, which they say is coming as an update. I've tried several other karaoke apps out there, but this is the only one that has enough songs to trully be called a Karaoke app. Update: The last update fixed the long login times!!!

It requires subscription (not free). The app's cost is quite cheap, but the thing I didn't like is that it requires a subscription which, of course, costs more. You can chose only 51 songs -that nobody would like to sing, for free. Don't waste your money or be prepared to pay more for an extra service. Very disappointing.

Still cannot record performances - Stay away!. So long as you can't record your performances through the app, it should be avoided (specially since it is NOT a free app). Stick with Glee Karaoke or Starmaker.

Good app. Good mix of songs, too much back vocals of off-key singing, not enough new material... But great for evry taste of music!

Song and Lyrics out of sync. The free songs play and have lyrics, but they are several seconds out of sync, so quite useless on my iPad.

Waste of time. Didn't get a chance to get to the crappy service. Was unable to sign up. Tried the capcha 6 times ..gave up. That's 10 minted of my life I'll never get back.

too slow. i bought the 2-day subscription ($4.99) for a karaoke bday party and am super disappointed i spent $ on sound equipment when this app dragged in speed with loading content. songs kept stopping. not cool. we resorted to youtube. i suggest finding a better app or doing youtube.

Best Karaoke App!. I was looking for an app that we could use for home karaoke parties. Not interested in all of these apps where you record and upload your singing. Songs with background vocals was very important. This is absolutely the best app I’ve found after tons of research. I don’t mind paying the subscription fee to save the hassle of finding quality versions on YouTube. Love it!!

Why do I need to make a subscription?. I just got this app because it was free. I don't want to make a sign in thing but it makes you. I just wanted to see if the app was worth keeping. And it's not if I have to make a sign in/subscription thing even if I don't want to…

lots of fun - great for the price - a healthy dose of cheese. My household isn't so great at singing, and Karaoke really isn't our bag, but that didn't stop us from giving this app a go 'round for some great laughs and a fun time over the holidays. I don't think you can beat what this app offers for the price. The app utilizes an easy to grasp lyric presentation format with easy-to-read text over entertaining animations and "music videos". There is a decent collection of stock songs from a variety of genres, but just enough to get you hooked. There is also a great library of song samples you can access, with the potential of buying the entire songs as in-app purchases at the discretion and added expense of the user. A lot of the songs sound really good, and some of them are pretty faithful renderings of the original, which is especially nice. A few others sound kinda' lousy, as if they were pecked out on a cheap mid-80's Casio keyboard. But what more can you really want for a 99 cent app? What they offer here is well worth it, IMO. As far as the music videos and animations, they run behind the lyrical text throughout the song. Many of them are really entertaining, and some of the animations are especially engaging and even beautiful. But some of the video scenes are purely a puzzlement, and leaves you wondering what they were thinking. Some weird stuff.(and cheesy too). One hang-up I had was having to set up an account online with the Karaoke Channel before using the app. To be fair, I pretty much expected this due to the bureaucratic need for some type of regulation for digital media rights oversight (RIAA stuff) and the necessary mechanisms that allow rights holders to get their cut. But once the account is set up, it gets out of your way and you can have fun with the app. This app probably won't pack all the punch and polish that a true karaoke junkie is looking for, but for anyone else, it's pretty good fun. And for just 99 cents, its fun at a good price.

Did not work well. Purchased for NYE. The app dragged in speed.lots of waiting for content to load. Ended up using karaoke songs from you tube. Much faster no waiting. Would not recommend the purchase.
