Disappointed. Not worth it. Just changes tones which I can do with other photo apps + more

Meh. It's a wonderful app if you like reading without knowing anything about the author or what genre you're getting yourself into. Plz makers u need to fix this problem and I will give you 2 thumbs up, but for now you only get 1.

A Real Treasure. I have read some old favourites. some were first read long ago for a forgotten class. Rereading them now with older, more experienced eyes was pure delight. each new story and author is a great treat too, and has me scurrying around for more stories and books to add to my pile of must-reads. honestly i have never gained so much enjoyment for such few pennies.

Fantastic.... Great selection of stories even if they are random. It would be helpful though to have a categorized list so you can find the right story for the right moment. Then you don't have to guess and see if it's what you're looking for. Otherwise a great app.

It's worth it. Yepp.......,.defenitely worth it. Has a very nice collection of short stories if you like variety. Good for killing time.

Phenomenal. Easy to use, love the organization, and it's perfect for a quick read while waiting in line or at the airport!

Boring. Seems to be the very worst of Dickens, Conan Doyle etc.

GREAT APP.. Worth a whole lot more. Lots of great stories. Great to pass the time while waiting in the doctor's office or riding the train. You get so much for 99 cents!

Give it a chance. If you're planning on rating this with one star, go ahead. If you've already read A Dream of Red Hands by Brom Stoker. I have no problem w/ negative reviews, as long as the reviewer has taken the time to analyze the app. This app cannot possibly be analyzed until A Dre of Red Hands has been read.

Brilliant App!. Apart from genre index, the only thing missing are checkmark boxes, so one can tick off which stories one has read (there are quite a few!) Maybe even a five star rating possibility would be nice. Otherwise, simply great and a bargain at this price.

Great App and great support - all for 99 cents. Bought this app and had trouble installing (my system - not the app). I wrote the mfg. and they continued to correspond until the problem was solved (on a Sunday). Now it works fine and I will enjoy reading on the plane.

does not give genre of stories. Stories are grouped by author. Need to also be able to group by genre, otherwise hard to select what to read. And some minimal info about the authors (even Wikipedia pages) would be great.

If you like short stories, this app is for you!. I have a few apps of book collections, but this is the first one I know of that is a collection of short stories. As the title says, there are more than 300 stories in this app. If you like even a third of them, it is well worth the price. The interface is easy to use, and I especially like that I can change the font size while I am reading rather than having to go to an options section to make the change. As someone else has already said, it would be helpful if the stories were also categorized by genre. It would also be nice to list page numbers or some other way to show how long the stories are. But these are minor quibbles in an outstanding app.

Books. This is a great app for educating my son about all of the different kinds of books are out there and it allows me to get my fix by using my iphone to read to him or for him to read from it!!! Coooll!

Me. I like this app. It lets me catch up on stuff I maybe should have read years ago.

Best space saver. This app is terrific! No need to carry a book or magazine to pass the time while having to wait for something! And I ways have my phone with me. What a deal to read from the old classic authors. Love it!!!!

Category search. Please make a thing that let's you look only at the type of story you want to read

Get what you pay for... There is almost no organization to these stories. Stories are listed by author but not even the authors are organized. Wish I didn't buy it..

Wonderful. Great stories with a nice selection of genres. The problem is I've read them all now and hope I don't have to wait too much longer to get some new ones. Yes there are a rather large number of typos, but it doesn't bother me since they're nothing big. Usually incorrect spelling errors. Highly reccomended

Typos!. there are over 300 stories here and in the first day of using this app I found typos. In the Nightengale and the Rose, and in the $30,000 bequest. It's hard to trust the other stories knowing that there are such flagrant errors

RKEHRET. Would have been great but this came up with a note that it does not work on the ipod touch that I have. Waste of money for me. Did not see a warning anywhere in the advertizement.

Mr. First, the fact that the chosen nickname is already taken should be disclosed before a person writes a review. That may be why there are no reviews. Secondly, the endings of three of Maupassant's stories are missing. The same is true of Tajima, and An Adventure on Island Rock. That's as far as I've gone. Someone should check the rest. By the way, my first comment is the reason for my strange nickname, which I'll never remember. Thanks...

Best value on the store. This is a great value app. The stories are well worth Reading and the reader is a pleasure to use. Beautifully crafted interface works so well.

Interesting. A useful way to pass time. But I would like to know the length of a story before I start reading it. There are no page numbers and no indication of the length which I find a nuisance.

Good stories. Love this app for emergency Reading time - like waiting at a docs office or not being able to sleep. Scrolling bounces back a bit and could improve but that's a minor issue
