小奋青们又在骂街。. I think this application is fairly excellent. The TV programs upgrade very day. I use it to watch some tv shows, sports news. And it is quite fluent, maybe that's because i'm in china. Hah~
CNTV app. This an excellent app, works on my iPhone 5. tried a few channels and they all worked as they supposed to.

Anice app. Please provide us with the eglish version of this application. I know CCTV broadcasts in english.
Show freezes then starts from the beginning. A lot of good shows in Chinese. However shows freezes randomly then it starts over again and again.
Poor navigation. I appreciate the availability of an English newscast, but there are not enough instructions or navigation aids to make this app useful for those who don't know Chinese.

very hard to find a program I am looking for. If I was recommended by someone else saying there is an interesting program on CCTV, it is impossible to find the program. All you get is the CCTV wants you to watch, NOT what I like to watch. A brain-wash tool.

Slow connection. The design is pretty good, but a major problem is that the connection speed is slow. Almost every video pauses multiple times during playback. I guess it is because the server is in China. If you want to serve overseas Chinese viewers, a faster server is a must-have. Otherwise this app is near useless.

TV out. Overall a great app to have. The only bad thing is that if they can release a patch that would allow iPhone users to stream tv shows on tv. My 3GS is not supported, can't say about IPhone 4.
