Good app, one issue. First of all. Really good app. Accurate, lots of features. I have one huge issue. We love to send our scores to friends or we share in other foursomes in our group. Golf Logix locks your account if you take a screenshot of your scorecard. They say it’s because they don’t want you to take screenshots of the holes. But that’s not what I’m doing. Just taking a picture of the scorecard and they lock you out (even in the middle of a round). Can’t send your scorecard to anyone till after the round and even that is web based and really not visually pleasing. Trying a different app for now.

Approach and Putt Features. Here’s a suggestion you’ve probably heard before... Why not partner with the ezLocator app so GolfLogix had the current pin positions? I switch back in forth between the 2 apps which is a pain. If Golf Logix included the current pin positions, one could, among other things, (1) On approach shots, visually show the area of green “below the hole”, (2) On putting, it would be more precise than placing your finger on the green/screen where you “think” the pin is (which if off by even 3-4 feet can make a huge difference on the speed/break.

Course slope and rating. When exiting your played round to submit your score, the tees played from no longer shows for the course your playing. Makes you enter your own slope and rating. Been using this app for years, but since the update, now I can’t enter the tees played from. I have over 200 rounds on the app in the last two years, and no problems now this. Called support and they said it was fine on their end, it’s not fine on my end. They had no suggestions on how to fix my app. Reloaded app multiple times to no effect. Will be canceling my Premium membership before it renews.

App currently Defective - Pop-ups galore. Have use this app since May 2017. I have liked & enjoyed using it but it’s always has been plagued by too many ads and pop-ups requiring unnecessary interrupting attention while on the golf course. I paid for the premium subscription to get rid of these annoying adds & pop-ups. They continued Even after my repeated complaints. Recently and most definitely after an update approximately 3 weeks ago the developers put out that has caused Put Break & game play tutorials to appear Multiple times during each hole play which Requires extensive attention to canceling the pop-ups to use the app. I Have written several emails to Support providing screenshots and information on this inconvenience as well as made numerous phone calls to Support That has produced no corrective results. At Support’s direction to correct the problem I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app on three different occasions that produced no corrective results. While I would highly recommend this app when it is working properly at this time & until these issues have been corrected I strongly advise not downloading this app or purchasing Any paid subscriptions for this app.

Beware. GolfLogix will disable app features for your entire golf weekend.. I have been an avid GolfLogix user for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, at the start of a Saturday morning round, I bumped the volume button on my phone while putting it away, inadvertently capturing a screenshot in the app. Even though the screenshot captured no valuable data, the app automatically disabled the green break feature and prompted me to call a number for support. Support, however, is not available on weekends (who golfs on weekends?) and directed me to an email. Support did not respond until Monday, leaving the app feature blocked through both of my weekend rounds. When I followed up via email and again on the phone, I only received canned responses and an unwillingness to address my concern or questions any further. There has to be a better solution that allows GolfLogix to protect their data without abandoning their paying customers during weekends when their product is most utilized.

Sep2017 came with lots of troubles. The free trial self updated late Sep 2017 version with green breaks came with trouble First, I could not enter any score/ round stats. No key board or drop down list came out. I had to uninstall and reinstall to fix this problem, but ... Upon reinstalling, an old trouble came back. The list of players has a very large number of repetition of each single player I have ever enter scores of. In the past I had received instructions to fix this problem, including reinstalling, but not this time After saving the first round after the new installation, only this round on to previous ones on the same course show in the app. I can see 200+ online. After following instructions to sync, only 80 rounds show in the app Then, for some reason, when entering my hole stats, it does not keep open the details e.g. Drive, putts, chips etc. I have to return to me to enter them Customer supports told me "we are launching a new version that should fix all your issues ". So I'll wait and see

Need more control. I have over 400 rounds with GolfLogix and I have been one of their biggest fans. HOWEVER, the new updates are more annoying than helpful. Why is it the approach and green maps automatically pop up? I would rather access them when I want to see them. Because of the auto pop ups I can barely get a full round in as long as it’s under 4 hours. The auto pop ups take 5-10 seconds to generate thus slowing me down. Most of the time I go from approach yardage to putting in the score. That is now a very painful process waiting for the green view to pop up so I can skip past it to enter the score. Please add a feature where one can select a setting where these added value maps are auto on AT YOUR REQUEST? I dropped the app from a five star to a three because this is EXTREMELY annoying in a game where we need no other annoyances. Will put it up to 5 when I can get rid of auto pop ups.

Fantastic App. I never do reviews but this App is amazing. My Garmin watch broke the night before I played a 36 hole tournament. After carefully reviewing online reviews I chose this app. It is super easy to use, the accuracy of yardage was spot on. I compared with someone using a laser range finder and we were either exact or within a couple yards. The ability to move the flag on the green was extremely helpful as well as dragging the finder to see the distance to hazards. Setting your club yardage and seeing it on the screen was a feature that I found very useful. Lastly I only used the app on tee boxes and addressing follow up shots (so not running it all the time) and after 36 holes I still had 50% battery on my iPhone 8plus and that included checking emails and texting. So overall I’d recommend this App to anyone without hesitation, and after 10 years of wearing a GPS watch, I don’t think I’ll be gettin another one.

Too expensive, needs more levels.. I’ve been a user of this app for years. Paid for the upgraded version. The app works just okay. The new putt read function is too slow. On a busy course, inputting all the info then reading your putt, then putting just simply takes too long. The price is a huge problem. I get things go up in price. But there’s no reason the app that’s exactly the same as last year needs to go from $30 to $50. You priced me out of your app. There should be membership levels, or some type of ala carte plan for those of us who don’t use all those fancy upgrades. But I’m out as a customer. Too bad.

Terrible app for Apple Watch. This app simply doesn’t work well with the Apple Watch. If that is what you are looking for skip this overpriced pig and go with something else. The app links with my watch about 50% of the time and when it does link functionality stinks. You end up pulling your phone out of your pocket way too often. Finally, I bought at one month subscription so I could try it out not knowing that my “month” was only a few days as they billed me again on the first of the month. Total rip off! There is much better out there at 2/3’s the price. Keep looking you will find it.

Best app for anyone. Started using the app about 3 months ago. I was hesitant to have my phone out on the course at first because golf should be played peaceful and uninterrupted... however I learned that it was very helpful and very accurate! It has helped me play safe and save unwanted penalties that kill your game due to accurate yardages. Let’s be honest... you always think you can make it over the water but when you see the actual yardage to carry, well you tend to think twice. I give this app 5 stars and two thumbs up!!!

Greatest Golf Course GPS. I have tried many free to use golf course gps applications, I even own a dedicated golf course gps and I must say that GolfLogix is the best of all. The best and most handy feature is the satellite image of each hole clearly indicating water hazards and bunkers. Not to mention the amount of courses available in its database. This app came in very handy while on vacation in North Carolina. With the help of this apps accuracy, I have dropped my score by 3 strokes without changing how I swing any club! It also gives me the confidence to be aggressive within 135 yards of the flag. Love it!

Jlaw47. App has worked great for me for many years. The only issue I have is with my Apple Watch. GolfLogix does not offer an option to use the GPS on my watch. I have to have my phone with me all the time to see accurate distances on my watch. I now run an additional app on my phone/watch that offers the watch GPS option to be able to get accurate distances on my watch while leaving my phone in the cart. This rating would absolutely be five stars if the watch GPS were an option.

No working correctly. I just purchased this app for one month to try on my new Apple Watch. The first issue I have is that the app did not automatically advance the holes as it should. I had to manually advance it on all 18 holes. My biggest problem was that it showed the distances to get over a hazard while I was near the tee box but those distances disappeared from my watch as I moved. So when I got to where my tee shot landed and needed to know the distance over a hazard from there they weren’t available anymore. Distances over a hazard was my biggest reason for buying the app. Also distances were very different on my Garmin watch.

Best, and keeps getting better. 1. It's the best golf app I've used, so I bought the paid version after a couple years of the free version. 2. No. 1 was true several versions ago and still is. More recent versions add slope compensation, which works well and generally agrees with the scope I use 3. I have an older Apple Watch, and between short battery life and the band I have, I almost never take it to the course. If I did it more, I would like to see auto shot tracking and options to use phone, watch, or average of both GPS chips. I wish I could leave the phone in the cart without compromising accuracy. 4. I have never found any courses that are inaccurately represented on the app. But I noticed last year the Devils Tower only had 9 holes showing in the app.

Best Golf App out - but wish it had Wind and Elevation considerations. I have used this app for several years. It is by far the best (I have tried just about all of the golf apps available in the App Store). I find the graphical representation of the hole much easier to view on the course and the score card is way better than any other out there. The only thing I wish it would include in an update is an option to include elevation and wind factors when determining distance - a Plays Like stat. I would find this way more usable than the putting line and approach features they added recently. Hopefully they will be adding it soon, as I see that several of their competitors already have implemented a Plays Like feature....🤞

Full-Featured On Apple Watch 2, Amazing Support. Tried them all before settling on Golfshot Pro. After 5 mostly satisfied years, that app started behaving very squirrelly so went looking for a replacement. My priority is to be able to do it all on my Apple Watch, and GolfLogix meets my expectations in that regard. Golflogix’s support blew me away. First day, noticed maps, bunker locations, and distances for my home course were outdated. (Course had had a major overhaul two years ago.). Filed an error report through the app ... with low expectations. Had an email reply within 12 hours promising a quick fix. Updated course data appeared the next day. By the way, my growing problems with Golfshot were fixed by purging app from my phone then reinstalling. Still, I am sticking with GolfLogix as it’s distances seem to update more quickly on my watch. Other features are largely identical Do hope they get the green-reading data for my home course - now only available through a $700 app.

Putt breaks are wildly inaccurate!!!!. I paid for the premium option while the putt break feature and its percentage numbers are somewhat helpful when it comes to the approach shots and pitches and chips the percent numbers for the breaks are totally inaccurate. How do I know? I have been using the aim point for the last 3 years and I know three breaks from my feet and when I compare them with the app most of the time I was shocked to find the discrepancies. On one of the top courses that I often play I did buy a greenbook from strackaline which make these books for pga pros and they used the laser scanner to scan the greens to get the breaks and their percent numbers and compare with golflogix putt breaks and these numbers are not even close!!!! On another course I play on one of the green the putt breaks in totally opposite direction to what golflogix says. This begs the question how golflogix got these breaks from? I'd say most of them are guesswork of some sort! Do not pay for the premium option because these are fake!

Club tracking. Great app but the club tracking could be more user friendly. It would be great if there was a button you could push before you take your next shot letting the app know where your previous shot landed and therefore giving you your distance for that prior club (possibly with a pop-up following to ask you what your last club was). One other problem that I have encountered recently is the club suggestion and distance putting my shot directly in the middle of the water. Not a huge issue since you can move the target location but still annoying. Other than those two things amazing app highly recommend!

Good app, Mostly gets the job done. The course listing is good, haven’t played an unlisted course yet and 90% of courses have the green details included. When doing the green detail the GPS can glitch out-sometimes so your alignment to the green isn’t correct and you have to rotate your orientation to imagine how it should be aligned. The best part of the app is being able to plan two shots at a time, i.e. you can move the target around the hole to show if you hit it 150yds it will automatically display you have 100yds remaining to center green. However, this feature does mess up sometimes and the app thinks you are on a different hole than your actual current hole. It would be nice if there was a reset button to keep it from “sticking” on a particular hole. It would also be nice if you could customize the UI a little bit. My push chart has a phone holder and I constantly have to take the phone out of the holder to get to the arrow buttons. If I could toggle the arrows to be at the top it would be nice. All said it’s a good app that gets the job done. A couple feature updates and it would be 5 stars from me.

Poor iWatch experience. Had issues with the app not keeping score correctly in sync with the phone. Reached out to support, got a canned response. Second response was the iWatch always has to be range of the iPhone. I keep my iPhone in the golf cart. So this app may work good if you keep the phone in your pocket. I don’t and it was bad experience. Support didn’t offer much other then maybe engineers can look into it. I paid for a month of premium service before noticing this issue, my bad! Try it first before paying money. I found a app called Golfshot that works perfect in my situation. Not saying to use that app instead of this no matter what, but if you don’t have phone on your hip while golfing but have iWatch, avoid this app till they fix this! Plus is it had good GPS range numbers and the putting green feature is nice. Just really disappointed in Support and how the iWatch works.

Solid. This is a great golfer’s gps app. I’ve tried several and they have all had some sort of glitch, quirk, or design flaw in the coding. This one has time and time again proven to be the most reliable. It’s very user friendly, which I appreciate the most about it. When I’m on the course, my mind is on my game. The designers kept that in mind when creating this app. Everything you want to know about the hole you’re on is easily accessible without having to switch focus. It’s honestly like having your own personal yardage book, but for thousands of courses.

Newbie. My first full year using GolfLogix is under my belt. I enjoyed using the program and found it very helpful. By mid-year I think I was taking advantage of every there was to offer. Distances and pin placements were two of the main benefits I used each round. I would have liked to use the putting and 3D greens features more often but found they used up a LOT of my battery. Some suggestions... 1) optimize battery usage 2) recognize distances and course position more quickly 3) greens reading wasn’t possible when playing with others as it was VERY slow and doesn’t recognize your position on the green. Having to estimate where you are makes what should be a really cool feature almost useless. As we all know, if your position in relation to the hole is off my just a small amount the path of the ball could be totally different! 4) would love to make hole notes on best approaches and strategies for future reference. 5) would be great to tie in notes on weather conditions as well. 6) summary of clubs used on a hole would tie back to #4 above

Green contour is great but Putt Line is cumbersome. Looking at the green contour from behind the ball is very helpful to see the break. Like a golf video game. However, the Putt Line feature is too cumbersome to use and it is difficult to be accurate because you have to draw a line with your finger on the screen to an estimated flag location on the green. Why can’t you just have the user mark the ball and flag location with a ball and flag icon on the screen using the GPS and then the app can automatically draw the putt line. I know there are some accuracy issue of the GPS but the app can allow minor adjustments after the locations are marked. This would be much faster to use on the green.

Could Be Better With Apple Watch. I am using my Apple Watch as a golf watch. I have been searching for the best app to use with my watch. I do use my phone while I am golfing, but often I am away from the cart and just have my watch on my wrist and want a graphic of the hole on my watch. Although this app does show the green in any surrounding bunkers, I was hoping it would give more information. I am also using Fun Golf app (now Tag Heuer) end it shows the entire whole, tee to green. You can use the scroll wheel on your watch to scroll through the entire hole and get distances to any specific location, something Golf Logix doesn’t do. Because I want to rely on my watch more than my phone, this is important to me. Aside from that, the app itself is pretty great. One feature that is a must is the ability to be able to tap on your phone’s picture of the hole and see any distance to any object.

Annoying instruction box after going into approach mode automatically. I’m a premium member and ran into a very annoying problem. On every hole the app went to approach mode automatically with an instruction box to tap anywhere to get a distance to that point. I had to click on the X to close the dialogue box on every single hole! Even I am capable of understanding the directions the first time, so why do I need to be reminded 18 times a round? Not only would it be nice not see see the dialogue box anymore, it would be even nicer to be able to disable going into approach mode automatically. If I am missing something please advise. Otherwise this app would get a 5 star rating.

Great with one feature needed.... I have really enjoyed this app so far. I feel everything has bee well thought out and may switch to the paid version soon. I play alongside golfers that pay for a yard gadget, app always seems to been on line with their yard estimate. With that said, there is only one feature I really feel it is missing and should be easy to add. I play 2-3 times a week on the same course and have really felt it would be helpful to pull up course sad individual hole stats. For instance, what is my average stroke for hole 16? Or does my tee shot on hole 4 tend to push or pull? It seems the app is tracking this but I haven’t found a way to pull the data on a course or hole by hole basis. Perhaps this is a paid function? If not, definitely a feature worth considering.

Everything’s great but the scorecard. I just got this app after having Swing U for the past year. They were having a 50% off sale so I took advantage of it. I have loved this app. It’s very accurate on the yardage, approach layout, and putt line. But the scorecard is laggy to scroll through. And while I love having the stats on my scorecard, it makes it really difficult to compare scores with the people I’m playing with. We also play skins for money and there’s no way of keeping track of that. Please fix the scorecard! Otherwise great app!!

Not impressed. I purchased this app yesterday to use on the golf course today. What a horrible experience. First, the green mapping and putting lines stopped working after the 4th hole. Wouldn’t let me draw lines or anything. Couldn’t even enter my score from the frozen green view on EVERY HOLE. Had to return to hole view for it to let me enter my putts. Oh and trying to figure out where to put you ball and the pin on the map I’d an absolutely nightmare with the 3D rotation. Slows the game way down. Then the absolutely annoying feature that automatically switches to approach or putt view when you are close to the green. Keep it on hole view until I am ready to switch. Let’s move into changing clubs. Totally annoying (and maybe I just haven’t figured it out because it’s definitely not an easy option). Get to the tee box enter a club and then decide to change a to a different club. Nope, couldn’t figure it out. Also, on some holes when I advanced to the next hole it allowed me to enter my score. Other holes I had to back up to last hole and edit score card. And finally. Why can’t I access a website to see my round on a larger screen like on a computer and make edits? Is there not a way? I keep trying to log in and all I get is set back to a login screen that says to login with an option to upgrade. No way to see my round???? Actually, way too many issues to list. Needless to say I will be cancelling the subscription.

Apple Watch Integration is Amazing. I have been using GolfLogix for many years. I have tried others, only to conclude GolfLogix is the best. And that was before the latest update which added awesome Apple Watch usability. In the past, the watch would tell me how far it was from the phone to the hole. Normally, no big issue as the cart (with the phone) was beside the ball. It made a difference in “cart path only” days as I had to put the phone in my pocket to insure accurate yardage. Now, the yardage on the watch updates from where the watch is, not the phone! Very useful! Also, the statistics (fairway hit, number of putts) can be scored on the watch. Once I open the App on the phone, I don’t have to use it again unless I want the study the hole map, or the round is over. Super accurate yardage.

Really Disappointed. The Apple Watch app works for a few holes and then stops appearing, causing me to have to bring up the app again and advance to the correct hole. Similarly, the IPhone app works well, but I need to hit the side button to darken the screen after each reading or the battery on my XS Max will be quickly depleted. Neither the phone or watch app automatically advances to the next hole. This is so hard to believe because I had a 20 year old GolfLogix GPS device that worked perfectly. The current phone app has beautiful visuals of the course and will help you read the greens; but sadly it doesn’t do the basics in a reliable, user friendly fashion.

A couple of initial issues.. Just downloaded the app and purchased a 1 month subscription. One of the reasons I upgraded was to set pin positions in advance. The only way I see to do that is on the hole view but although I saved the location it does not appear on the approach or putting view which is where you really need it. Is that a bug? Otherwise the current function is pretty much useless. Also the update notes say you can turn off the instructions in approach and putting modes, but I don’t see how to do that. I haven’t used this on the course yet but looking at courses I play regularly it looks quite promising. At this point my rating is lower because of the things I mentioned.

Ruined a good thing. I have used this app for three years now. I thought it was a great app at the time, best one out there. Two winters ago they made updates, forced the upgrades the first time I used it that summer, which made the app painful to use. Thankfully they listened to their users and fixed what was broken. This spring I’m finding the same situation. They added the greens reading feature, which I am not interested in using yet. Now, every time I need to add my score (almost every time I hit a button) a screen pops up to turn on that feature. I’m assuming they want me to spend more money to buy it. I am sending an email asking how to stop that from popping up. I’ll repost after I figure it out. Until then my review will remain at 3 stars. Would easily be 4 stars if it weren’t for the annoying forced updates. lw

Great APP - Needs some work. I’ve been using this APP as a Champion Member for ~5+ years. It’s been a great APP up until recently. I purchased an Apple iWatch 4 with Cellular/GPS and was hoping I wouldn’t need to carry my iPhone 8+ everywhere on the course and could just leave it in the cart and use the standalone GPS feature in the iWatch 4. Unfortunately, there is times the standalone GPS feature in the iWatch 4 appears to work and shows a different distance than what is shown on the iPhone 8+ sitting in the golf cart - and there is times the distance to the center of the green doesn’t change on the iWatch 4 as I walk 25-50 yards in front of the iPhone 8+ sitting in the golf cart. Please work to improve this feature. Additionally, the new updates are a bit annoying. Why is it the approach and green maps automatically pop-up? This slows me down too much - I would rather have the ability to access approach and green maps when desired. Please add a feature where one can select a setting where the approach and green maps can be set to AUTO ON at the users request. Thanks 4/12 - Sent email on 4/1 to Developer (Gerald) IRT stand-alone GPS feature in iWatch 4 not working - it’s not reliable. I’ve been unable to leave my iPhone in the golf cart and receive a different distance on iWatch 4. I sent email to Gerald who indicated a possible syncing problem between iPhone and iWatch 4 but have yet to hear from Gerald. Disappointed.

Good but not great anymore. A good app for golf, but not great anymore. Reliable yardage’s about all it’s good for. Green read option was better when it was tap to place in 2D. The auto orienting of the green is problematic and always reversed, such bad upgrade. The 3D green is useless, no need for 3D when you give arrows and elevation lines. Not to mention we are actually standing on the green. Approach shot green would be better if it was just the green with arrows in the direction of the fairway. Not all changes are for the better. Sometimes less is more. It’s golf, keep it simple, (what’s the yardage, how is the putt going to break or roll on approach) it’s a hard enough game as it is. Until the old green reading tool is reinstated I’ve turned off auto subscription.

Really good but not great. I have found errors with course information such as the par scoring being wrong or flip flopped on holes. There should be a way for a user to custom manage scorecards and edit the par value when errors are found or any other info. Or a way to submit errors for review. Only thing I found was to ask for approach and 3D putting info to “maybe be added someday”. Also when a course is under repair and some holes are closed and you have to play some holes a second time for 18 holes you should be able to do this but cannot without ending the round and starting a new round. Otherwise I’m very happy with the app. Performs well for tracking score and shot tracking.

Horrible Apple Watch Interface. First, it is necessary to upgrade to a premium membership to use this feature. When entering scores on your watch, if your iPhone is in the golf cart, and your are more than 15 feet from the cart your scores will appear to have been entered, but are then lost. The GPS accuracy is spotty - and it takes forever to actually provide accurate information - I found myself standing in the fairway waiting on my watch on every hole - embarassing. The final insult was when I attempted to use the app on my watch, and received a message that I must upgrade to a Champion Membership to use the "refresh" feature. Well, I paid for the Champion Membership - so don't have a clue as to why it suddenly didn't work. So, there I was - no GPS distance for that round. Nice. I could have used my iPhone, but it was in the cart, and I didn't want to carry it with me each time I needed a distance. So, I've cancelled my subscription, and after paying $4, then $5 per month for the summer I fell like I wasted about $25 that could have been used to buy a Garmin GPS. My advice - save your money if you plan to use your Apple Watch.

Most disappointed in this app. I bought it because it advertised to have Apple Watch app and because it was supposed to help read greens. The app does not stay running on my watch 3. I have to call it up at each shot. Golf courses I play are not available for green reads. I have been advised to let them know the names of the courses I play. No idea how to do that. Also, it doesn’t automatically advance to the next hole. And it is not friendly to tournament play where we start on some hole other than hole number 1.

Outstanding GPS & scorecard. Love it, have been using it since 2013. Great GPS function & scorecard. I have the upgrade Premium Membership with the additional features & stats = great additional features for the small annual fee. Neat tracking for pitches, chip & putts... The most important strokes of the game. Wouldn't be without it on the course... Makes lay ups where necessary and easy to plan with the target layup feature. Scorecard is customizable & easy to enter scores/stats for the hole. Haven't set up club tracking yet, but I believe it may "suggest" a club to use if properly setup. Allows team scoring, although I don't use that. My focus is to track & improve my game, with on the course assistance for distance - especially when playing new or infrequently visited courses. Stat tracking is fun to watch - especially on putts... seems my most consistent "miss" is on the RIGHT. Probably relates to my setup for the putt (offline or incorrectly reading it - optical illusions?)... so it is targeting "something" to work on! All around a great & versatile App. Loads fast & is relatively easy on the iPhone battery... typically uses about 25 - 30% of the battery for an 18 hole round. I have done 36 holes without a battery recharge - started with close to 100%, battery was still ok for phone calls etc when done with golf rounds.

Impossible to Book Tee Time through App. The app is great when you’re playing, however, when trying to book a tee time it has been more than frustrating on multiple occasions. On two different occasions I have received an error messages only to receive a confirmation email 5-10 minutes later, but on the most recent attempt to book I never received the confirmation. I didn’t want to double book because I’ve done that in the past and had to eat the small deposit they require. Called 3 different golf courses the morning of July 4th that supposedly had available tee times and they didn’t. ALL 3 courses said golfnow (booking website) has been screwing up a lot lately.

Good app. Affordable to use. just a little clunky.. Good app. Affordable to use. just a little clunky. I find the app works well. I see very few glitches. I don’t like that I get pop-ups to upgrade when I’m already paying for a plan, but I do think the plan I pay for is affordable. I find it a little clunky to do club tracking after I’ve hit the ball. It is easy to forget, or my phone is located away from my last shot. Sometimes the app doesn’t sync with my Apple Watch. I wish shot tracking could be done on the watch, just like putting in your score after a whole. I would recommend this app for anyone to use.

Used to be a Great App. I have used this app for many years. Great app with all of the features mentioned. However, the same premium membership I have renewed each year suddenly doesn’t allow me to track and add clubs to my bag anymore. Not only that, if you try to do anything with a club in your bag, it deletes all the distances you have saved for that club over the years. You now need to purchase premium, and then purchase their plus plan for $50 more. Well, when I really needed it on vacation, it would only give me errors trying to upgrade, yet they still took my money, TWICE! I sent multiple emails via the app to try to get support, and got zero response. That was 2 months ago. To this day I have never received any contact from them. I had to go through Apple who quickly returned my money after they saw GolfLogix did nothing to help fix the issue. Should be a good app, but not worth it when you do not have any customer service when there are issues with app performance. There are lots of good other options out there now for golf GPS apps.

Recreational player. I do not have a handicap because I only play 9 hole courses in The Villages, Florida. We have the most 9 hole courses in the biggest retirement community in the world! We play for fun and social time with other people from all over the world! I just wanted and app to help me with picking a club to use with each course. It comes up with the right course name but looks nothing like the layout! I would not recommend this for a recreational golfer that has never played an 18 hole golf! It will not allow me to change how far my clubs can go in distance. I tried to edit my distance on each club and it went right back to the previous impossible distance for a 71 year old player in great shape! I am going to find an app that meet these qualities! Do not get if what I have said applies to a woman golfer!!

Great app! (Update). Was looking for a golf gps that I could use with my Apple Watch. I’ve got over 321 rounds using GolfLogix on my phone but didn’t want to carry my phone around on the golf course. I have a Garmin watch but it doesn’t synch with my Apple Watch so I was looking for something else. I tried GolfLogix for my Apple Watch. I had a premium subscription but I couldn’t get GolfLogix to synch on the Apple Watch. I deleted the app numerous times and reloaded but it finally told me I couldn’t use the features without an upgraded membership. I was just trying to get the app open on the watch and wasn’t going to upgrade the membership without knowing it would work. Had to go with another app and hopefully that one will work. If you’re looking for a golf gps app for your phone, GolfLogix can’t be beat, even paying $20 for the upgraded membership. I just couldn’t get it to work on the Apple Watch. ———————————-/———-/////

Decent app but needs updates.. Cannot understand why some things were changed. Here are some things I truly miss. 1. When tracking each shot, if I accidentally select the wrong club, there is no option to change it. 2. I am never on the green where the app says I am and it is difficult to move flag. Bring back the option to manually enter distance of putts. 2. I cannot put in different tee boxes played for each player. I play with my father and we use 2 different tee boxes. 3. When rotating the scorecard, I used to be able to see all players scores on front & back 9. This made it simple to take screen shots to post scores or send them out. Please bring back this summary of scores for all players with no stats!

Messed up billing and subscription. Great app but it’s a nightmare to pay and get the the app to work for premium features. I upgraded to premium 2 days ago and my credit card was charged but the app did not switch over from free mode and did not unlock the premium features. The only way to contact customer service is to send them an email through the app. Did it twice and no response. Stand ready to lose you money as it’s Apple who charges the card and they are unlikely to refund.

App is alright Website is HORRIBLE. The app keeps saying that it is unable to process the tee time being that it is unavailable or unable to process payment. I updated my card still same issue. Their website is absolutely not any better. Every time I have to re update all of my applied filters from date, sort, and radius when I click back. All in all, I was a golf logix avid user I may begin to look elsewhere, until they can hire a developing team to fix some major major major issues on their platforms. Sadly disappointed GL. I tried calling and their customer service team is not available on weekends and has goofy hours of operation. I hope you, that’s reading this, can take this review into serious consideration in fixing your business’ flaws that it has. I have hope and will try in the near future but gotta get some fixin in. I will fix my rating when they fix their issues. It deserves a 5 star but not u til they take action.

Locked behind pay walls. I have used this app for years. It did pretty decent for me. Kept track of yardage, helped me learn my club selection. I was using this every week on the course. But when I open the app today, the first time since I no longer has the premium paid versions, EVERYTHING was locked behind the pay wall. Do you want yardage? Too bad, pay us. Want to see club recommendations? Too bad, pay us. I know apps need money for development and I would have gladly paid for another year of this service. But not even getting basic info such as yardage without paying means I am uninstalling. Plenty of other app that will give yardage without a paywall. They will get my money from now on.

Great for putting but stats page - not so much. This app is great for putting information on many courses. Unfortunately a popular course I played yesterday wasn’t mapped for it. However the most important limitations are that after you enter all this info during your round, it gives you bare bones statistics. All the major apps provide more info. No putts per GIR (which is way more informative than putts /hole which isn’t even shown), no graphs, no save % etc. Lastly, you can’t even play games or get Stableford scoring. For an app that looks so good when playing golf, it fails miserably in the stats and games category. Will adjust the rating if and when this improves. Paid for and stuck for a year :)

Great app, but don't go premium. It's great how it is.. This is a great gps and stat keeper, for that I'm giving it 5 stars. However, you do have the option to play a virtual practice round on any course near you. This is great for getting to know the course before you play. But there is an option to take a full swing with your phone. This is a great feature, but it is totally inaccurate. Now generally my ball flight is pretty darn straight, so I wasn't surprised when my drive went straight down the middle, but when I tried dramatic draws and fades, nothing. All in all, if you take this feature for what it is, it's great for getting to know the course, and this is a phenomenal gps. Get the app, but don't go premium, it's great how it is.

Looking great. I've been a big advocate of the golflogix app for a long time now. It's great, accurate and easy to use. But this new interact, new graphics and what not. Wow! It was definitely overdue, but now the app has the look to go with the substance. One slight gripe. Not sure if it's just me. But the practice round swings aren't working.

Very useful. Have found it to be more than useful in all aspects. 5 stars if distances were a bit better but always fairly close anyway.

Great app. Great app to have in the bag. Seems to track nicely with the course markings. Well worth the time to configure. Only viable for those that know the distances they hit their sticks, but then again that's the name of the game. Joey

Excellent!. Great app. Accurate, easy to use, good features.

A-grade App. Great app that has all courses for south Australia

Great app. Excellent information and gps data . Use it all the time and the new improvements to the app have been excellent . Have recommended to my mates and other players .

Excellent app across many platforms. Great app and functionality.

Amazing. An awesome App very helpful and very accurate . Thanks

Bay island golf course. Can’t find my local course 4184 Macleay island

Great!. Used it today and have already told my mates about it..

Useful and practical. It may take a little time to set up but the result is an easy to use tool that will help you track not only your own games but also your friends scores as well. Highly recommended by myself and my peers!

Jon. Disappointed that it didn’t have green/putting advice for Cape Schanck Course.

Awesome App. One of the best, highly recommended

Logix. Great app it's got all u need

Use of Golf Logix GPS. Excellent . . Couldn't be more happier. . Will surely recommend to my golf mates in the club. I was worried about the battery usage but the apps only used 1/4 of my battery. Thank you golf Logix

A. Good when needed but uses a lot of battery

Incorrect Distance Measures???. The scorecard is great, but for some reason the distance to the hole/centre of green is out approx. 20m on my local course??

Great app. Great App, very accurate

Good app but been ripped off. I have been subscribed to GolfLogix for a few years now. Sadly I only get to play golf 2 or 3 times a year at the moment but thought I’d keep paying so I could use it when ever needed. I had some difficulty late last year and support recommended I re install the app. I tried again the next time early this year and discovered the subscription amount had increased and the amount I was paying wasn’t enough to unlock the phone features. In short they have continued to take at least $70 worth of subscriptions from me with no features. Would have been nice if they at least cut my subscription.... thanks for the heads up guys!

Everything a $300 GPS has.. Great app, as good as an expensive golf specific GPS.

Good app for the price. Easy to use, good on the battery, useful features including stats etc. My course not mapped correctly, with wrong par on two holes, but doesn't matter when measuring distance. Gps has some days where it is a little slow to give a correct distance.

Gps. Great app and features and great value

Good. Good app worked a treat

Happy. Very accurate. Telling all my mates.

Good features but not really as user friendly. Like the features and stat tracking of Golflogix but it's slower to use and not as user friendly as the other golf stat apps I've used. Plus the annual subscription loses another star.

Great app but $$$. Great app but pricey

Alan Millichamp. This golf GPS system is far superior in every way to others I have tried. The technology allows the user to quickly adapt to its features, and makes it simple to access other courses when required. A very exacting distance viewer, includes easily recognizable topographic course features and matches any Other specific golf GPS system that I have seen. Excellent reproductions, well done, it will be my 'caddy mate' from now on. Thanks for a great product, Alan

Best golf app on the market. This app is awesome, all the Western Australian courses are listed and accurate distance calculation to green centres. Club tracking feature is worth the $21 even though I can't hit too many clubs consistently accurate

Great app. Great app. Very small battery use! Accurate gps numbers but does not handle Aussie handicap scoring

App is great, but occasionally crashes. Would love to give it more stars but it had crashed 4 times in about 10 holes. I will persevere for now. Hopefully an update is on the way. (using iOS6)

Dodgy. Ads are so annoying and it said you get 2 free trials at the champion mode both times failed on me- do you want me to see the features or not guys- u can't expect me to shell out $30 per year when I can't even test it out - sorry to dodgy to start spending money on 

Pretty good but ads annoying. Pretty good

OK as a GPS... watch app is a bit average. I bought this on recommendation for an app that I can use on my Apple Watch for GPS. The positive is that yes, it does have all my local courses, and yes the GPS is accurate. The bit I found frustrating was that the Apple Watch app did not stay active on the watch during the round. I had to keep re-opening the app each time I wanted to check distance, which as you would expect would be a bit of time between each shot. After about 3 holes I got over having to do that, and just went back to using the app on the phone. I don't think i was doing anything wrong with it, and I couldn't find any settings that let it stay active either. Also a bit unpolished is the settings change that allows users to change measuring distances from Yards to Metrers - but then in other parts of the app, where you search for golf courses in your area - the measurement is still in imperial. Minor issue but if you change the measurement it stands out. I've contacted support about this one, hopefully they'll fix that feature.

Great golf app and getting better with each update. This is a great golf app. I love that it records your actual club distances. Please allow metric distances for putting outcomes, for it to be even better for us in Australia.

Couts. OK but it's a bit kludge to get around and to manage everything.

Is this a scam?. I downloaded Golf Logix and then upgraded to a paid subscription. But the app still lists me as “free” and not provided me with the additional capability that I have paid for. I have gone through the FAQ and then looked at user feedback- reinstalling the app etc but still no luck. I then did a support email (several now) but have received nothing.... just crickets. I am now left with the choice of stopping my subscription (effectively giving them $8 for nothing or waiting, hoping for a response?). Is this a scam?

Golf Logix support. I purchased this program and used it once then I replaced my iphone. I have not been able to get consistent use of the app since. I think the app works OK with distances. I find the stats too much hastle in a round of golf. I will continue to use the app if Golf logix can get it working again on my phone...a little disappointing

Golf. Great app very accurate and easy to use very happy :)

Best ever. Very food, fast, handy, easy, simple, save the bettery,

Awesome. Awesome very accurate

Don’t pay for premium - it’s a scam. Decided to upgrade to premium. Paid the subscription and nothing changed - app still kept asking me to upgrade if I wanted premium every time I opened it. Emailed them and they asked me to re-install. That didn’t work so I asked for a refund. They refused

GolfLogix. As far as ease of download is concerned.. Simple ! ...which equates to fantastic. Graphics good, actual hole by hole visualisation is very accurate. The big test will be this coming Saturday... This when I will see if all the planets align and the GPS is as accurate to distance as my game will allow. On course is always the great leveller whether that be player or equipment.

Looks good. What I've seen & used so far...this app is good.!

Poor Update. Why do I now have ads in an app which I have paid to use?? It was a great app prior to the lastest update. GET RID OF THE ADS FOR SUBSCIBED MEMBERS! If this does not change I will not purchase again, I will get Golfshot where I know there are no ads.

Great app. I like it a lot

What do you want?. This app works fine. Maybe the mapping of particular golf courses are incorrect but mine is fine. distances bang on, allowed for a 45 point game yesterday!!

Awesome!!!. Great app. Easy to use and very useful on the course. Ravi R

Excellent app, clumsy design. Golflogix is a great app, excellent features with the free version. I just think the design (app and especially the web sit) is a bit amateur-ish.

Not Free. If you want any distances, then you have to you upgrade at a cost. To say it's free is misleading. The app is useless without the upgrade as almost all useful features are locked.

Really useful app. Will have to buy the full version to get the best of it though

Decent app but.... It doesn’t integrate with Apple Watch as promised. Even when it did work with watch, it didn’t allow shot measurement from watch. For 27 hole course, won’t allow adjusting the back nine if tees change. Overall, it’s ok with iPhone. But lacks overall.

Membership isn’t working. I paid for the membership but it’s always asking me to buy a new membership and pay again

Gone downhill this year. This used to be a decent golf app but it’s gone to hell this golf season. Now it’s so buggy. The par is wrong on 60% of the holes you play, the location doesn’t work some times, the UI has never been great and seems to be getting worse. They must have sold it to a big company because it was OK for 5 years and then just went downhill so fast. I definite won’t renew next year.

Scores. I have the app and uprgraded to premium and the app will not let me count my score on the scorecard. So I paid for the regular version essentially

Scam. Canceled my subscription with this apps and they are still charging my card be careful

Slow finding says. While others with watches and other range finders get the distances, I’m still waiting for the app to settle on the satellite and give me a final reading. Using current version 7.5, even when I wait another 10 seconds the ranges will switch one more time it seems.

Great app. Works great ! My Garmin watch died on the course, downloaded this app and continued to play. All yardage seems to be accurate within 3- 5 yards. Would recommend if you don’t want to break the bank!

Joker arrow. Great app except for the annoying adverts .

Good stuff. Love brightness yardage pin plays excellent.!!!

GPS. Just tried out on local golf course, love it, works with my Apple Watch perfectly, easy to use

A RIP OFF. Suggest 2019 has many new features like green reading and approach shot guidance And if not available in your course should be updated shortly No such luck Lousy App At least for any course I have played

Great golf app. I have been using this app for 7 years and love it. Makes keeping score fast and provides accurate yardages to the pin. I also love the ability to filter dates so I can review my stats. Highly recommend this app to other serious golfers.

Customer Support. I reported an error in my handicap to customer support in May 2021, it is now July 28 2021 and they have not fixed my handicap. -24 handicap is a little excessive. I will not renew as I have to pay in Canadian dollars. Think twice before purchasing this app

Ripped off. I canceled my sub as I wasn’t playing much more golf this summer. Paid for month and canceled my subscription. Should be 3 weeks left, nope they cut me off immediately even though prepaid for the month. Got to course thinking I was good for weeks only for the app to ask me to subscribe to get it to work. Ruined my game as I did t have another gps or range finder. It was an ok app up to that point.

Golfing app. Good to view to course you want to play

Golf logixBobbybro. Love it! Great app! Used for years but now this year no yardage given only allows you to keep score for free. You now have to pay after all these years of free and very satisfied use. Dissatisfied and disappointed

Golfgps pro. I finally got a chance to use this app in conjunction with my Fitbit watch, but it required a promo code, which I did not seem to have, so I could not connect. It was disappointing 😕 I’ll try again another time....

Awesome app in golf. Awesome

Approach and putting info not available.. They need to move quicker to get the plus info on the courses I play if they are going to charge the plus price.

Very helpful. Saves a shot here and there, especially when you aren’t near a marker. The green reader feature has never worked even though I pay the premium rate.

1. Not happy at all, description of app is very misleading and GPS is all over the place. Didnt work for me at all. Do not recommend.

Latest update ruins Apple Watch for extended stats. I have used this app for several years. I thought when support for Apple Watch watch was added, it was a great improvement. The recent release has changed the Apple Watch interface and removed the ability to track extended stats. Absolutely a huge step backwards. What a mess they have made of what was a good application for the Apple Watch. Now after inputting your score via your Apple Watch you have to open the scorecard on the iPhone and add the stats via that method. Unfortunately the app then tries to have you enter the score for the next hole and you have to back out of that, bring up the score card and add the stats for the hole you just played and then return to playing golf. What a total distraction and ruined the good interface that existed.

Distances. J’aime beaucoup votre logiciel mais redonnez nous les distances Merci

Canadians beware!. I didn’t find a single course with information on the greens ir approach available on any Course around me. 70 dollars wasted

Don’t pay of your in Canada. Awful. Doesn’t tell you in advance before paying that your course doesn’t have the putting line option. Waste of $7 will be calling visa to try to get money back.

Apple Watch. Application on my watch was working well during the last month I am anable to enter my score and i have to change the hole manually I have to do that by using my phone

Never golf without it. I have this app on my iPhone and it links with my Apple Watch. I can get my distances quickly from my watch and use the phone when I need to calculate for a lay up to a certain terrain feature. It helps me keep track of ranges for each club for a more accurate game.

Amazing app. Sky views included.

Charging me over and over. App is great for what it’s supposed to do but when I selected a 1 month membership it somehow gave me a subscription and now I’ve been paying for this app for 3 months for 1 round of golf that I got it for. The developer says they can’t do anything about it and I need to claw back my money from iTunes. I will leave this 1 start rating due to my frustration until I get my refund...If I do.

Improvements to app. I am a female golfer who uses your app. The club selection is very different than what I actually hit. Making this more lady friendly would be a huge improvement

Ahnoy. The best app I’ve used. Easy and helpful

Great App. I have purchased three different apps. GolfLogix is by far the best.

Turns the iwatch into a golf watch. I download course at home before I go and iPhone connects to iwatch and voila! I have a golf watch. Look forward to approach and putt updates. Also I have my iPhone with me to get yardage readings to water hazards and sand traps. Pretty cool!!

Not in Canada. No courses near me on Vancouver island where we golf all year round have approach and putting breaks . The only use fell new tech about this ap. So I’d have to give them a fail. You make it happen and I tell everyone I know about this app

Sync with Apple Watch is brutal. Watch and phone side by side but the yardages are 20-30 yards different half the time.

Poor App. The Putt nor Approach functions do not work on any of the courses I play in Calgary. The distances shown are often off by 20-30 yards particularly on par 3s. Entering scores is often problematic. I will delete the app and request a refund

How do you turn in off on your watch. Useful and seems acute but it won't shut down on my watch. It always shows the indicator on at the top of the watch but the app is off.

Switching holes automatically. It would be better if it transferred from hole to hole

Misleading. There was a change in subscriptions a few years ago and and people who had purchased status were not grandfathered. Frustrating. Otherwise program is very good.

Must have. I’ve been using this app for several years and I love it. So useful, especially for courses I have never played but even course you know well too. And each year they add new features. Can’t wait to get out there and use it again in 2020.

Golf Logic App. Love this app! I'm crappy at eyeballing distance and this app makes a huge difference with my game. I'm glad I didn't fork out big bucks for one of those hand held units. This is my 3rd year using it and it has taken many strokes off my game.

What has happened???. I bought the pro upgrade last year and used my iPhone and Apple Watch together. The Watch readings were amazing. Just used it today and there definitely was and upgrade and the Watch interface is different. It kept a switching all over the place, hole 1, hole 5, hole 6 meanwhile I was still on hole 2 I. The fairway. JUNK.

GPS is very slow to refresh. This app’s GPS has really gone downhill. Used to work great. But now the club tracking distance almost always lags by about 30 seconds.

My rating has change!. I was using this app mostly for distance assistance. Had no problem last season. It ‘was’ great! This week however it has stopped giving the distance after #4 first day, #5 second day, worked great third day and quit after #1 today. Quite discouraging! I would say consistency is a problem on the app or $$$ is needed to upgrade! I’m only interested in basis information! Will not upgrade for basics!

app不错. 准备体验一下再写评价

Do not use. Absolutely brutal for syncing to my watch, I’ve been waiting fo over 20 minutes more than once for it to load, I’ve never even got to use it with my watch it is that brutal. Never ever going to both with this crap again.

Delio. Great app, but to expensive

Putt breaks. Be wary of purchasing the plus membership. There may may be no courses in your area that are set up for approach and putt breaks.

Watch doesn’t work 80% of the time. It says refresh but doesn’t actually refresh. Phone is beside the watch and the app is running.

Great tool. Fast and accurate info

Watch app is unreliable and. Having used GolfLogix for many years happily, I’m very disappointed in the quality of the watch app (my watch is series 7 so newest available at this time). It often has difficulty syncing up with the phone app at the start, often jumps off the correct hole, and when neither of those things happens it will very often fail to record score and play data that’s entered on the watch. Today, for example, only the first 6 holes of data entered on the watch were captured, the rest was completely lost. Can’t trust it.

Skipped a hole?. While I was using this app, I realized I skipped a hole. Wouldn’t it be cool if the app would say “hey it looks like you missed hole 4”. Or even CONGRATULATION’S when you birdie or better. What if it tracked your positions on the course all day and shows you where your ball landed for each stroke like they sometimes do on tv with drives. I am realizing the difficulty for the app to recognize you stopping to go to the bathroom versus stopping to hit a ball. So in light of that you would have to hit a button before every swing. Hmmm. PITA.

The food and bad of the app. I like the graphics very much; easy to read and as simple as any I’v seen. Problem is it doesn’t apparently function for anything other than tee to green center without a premium addition. As I have a handheld gps device that has thousands if courses with hazard indicators, it’s redundant to pY for additional services. I only need it for 1 short practice course as the gps I have (callaway upro go) does not read 1/2 the course. I have been notified that Golf Logix now has updated the course. It it works with distance from shot to green and from wherever, I would rate it 5 stars .

Use It. I’ve used many golf apps over the years. Golflogix is superior to all I’ve used. Most importantly is the putt feature, we have the pros putt info on the app. If you don’t consider a round with your buddy it will gives you all the distance and aiming information you need. I probably make more 30’ miracles or at least 1 footers with it than before. Finally club distance and tracking made simple once you figure it out.

Happy Now. When I first got the app I upgraded to premium but there was a glitch and even though I had paid it did not upgrade. I was a bit upset but they responded immediately to resolve the problem, which took a few tries but they always responded immediately and the problem was solved. I’m over in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and I can’t believe they have the local golf courses in their database! Impressive! Real happy with the app.

Great app but issues on the watch. I’ve been using the app for a few years. It’s worked well, accurate distances and have used both my watch and iPhone. But about the time I updated to iOS 13 and watch OS 6.0 the watch stopped advancing automatically through the entry screens. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it twice and restarted both my watch and phone. I’ve also unpaired and repaired my watch to no avail. Please get this fixed soon.

Good App - It gets the job done!. This is a pretty good app but liked the old pricing structure better, where I paid single price for 6months or a year. I’ve used it for 2yrs, so go figure. Just noticed for the first time today that the GPS is a little glitchy. If I stand in the same place for 20-30 secs, the yardage and placement bounces back and forth and can be off 5 or 10 yards. But like I said, it gets the job done. The club tracking feature is pretty cool, only I don’t like what it does when you have to switch clubs - argh! That can get a little messy! It keeps history and that’s the main reason I haven’t sought a range finder. Not liking this new monthly pricing thing though. For the price bump, you’d think they’d fix yardage/placement issue. At some point I might consider moving on to something else. But until then, it’ll do!

My first day. The app is cumbersome at first but once you catch it is great. I've never tracked my stats before and this makes it a breeze. I didn't like that after 9 holes the premium sales pitch comes on very distracting. Lock players out after 18. Lastly the constant adds are a PITA. I realize that it is all about the income but everyone you pick the up it's another add. Great product but all the sales pitches detracts from the product and the customers hame.

Very reliable. I have been using this app for at least 2 years now and I find it to be very accurate with distances. My golf buddies seem to like it also, as they often ask me for help with distance before deciding which club to use. I have seen those reviews where some people complain about the app freezing up or not working. I would say that their phone is the problem not the app! I haven't had any issues so far.

Don’t fall for the free 7 day trial period.. I installed the app and tried the service during the free 7 day trial. I decided I didn’t want it and canceled the service the next day. I was still billed the full amount and when i contacted Golf Logix, they told me to contact Apple to get a refund. It’s not an easy process to get your money back so unless you feel like spending your free time trying to recover your money, i would go with a different app. I feel like they use this as a trap to get people to buy their app and when its canceled, they just bill anyways and tell you to contact Apple to get your funds back. I hate these sorts of business that prey on people not wanting to do the legwork to receive their money back so that they can be paid.

Beware it is not free. I initially really liked the app. The only thing it really lacked, what is the satellite view of the whole. That was easy enough to forgive though, as it had great yardage and interface well with my Apple Watch. That worked for two rounds, and then I was asked to upgrade at 999 a month. After saying no to the upgrade, all yardage disappears, it no longer pulls up on my watch. Extremely disappointed that I can’t even get yardage to the center of the green like with every other free golf app. Don’t waste your time with this app Unless you want to pay a monthly subscription. I give two stars for deception.

Great App!. Have been using and enjoying this app for years and can’t imagine being on the course without it. The only thing I can complain about is lack of clear instructions on using the putt line feature; after all these years I still don’t know how to place the hole and myself on the screen in order to line up a putt. I enthusiastically recommend this app.

Good and useful App. Have used it for years and it is accurate enough for my game. Main complaint is everytime I boot it up, it has to slowly download the same 13 updates, even tho I’m playing the same course repeatedly, where nothings changed. So, I have to plan ahead, but on the off chance I forget, it’s the third hole before it fully updates, but for what. Weird that everything has to be updated always whenever launches. Mildly annoying.

App is Great...Not working Apple Watch. The app on the iPhone works great, one of the reasons I purchased premium was to get the Apple Watch features. Only problem is I have had it work only one time. It keeps giving me the spinning gray circle and just doesn’t work. Will get frozen after I open the app on the watch and not click through anything. Even if I start the round on my phone it doesn’t push it to my watch. Most frustrating part is that I have sent a request into the support through the app and have not got back to me these past two weeks. Starting to seem like a waste of money if you are looking for the Apple Watch companion app.

Love the App, having trouble with my Apple Watch?. I can’t find a way to contact customer service so I will post this here. I’ve been using this app for the better part of three years and I love it! Always gives me good yardage is and I have not started using the pipe break system yet but that seems to work pretty well also. My only issue is I installed my Apple Watch last night tried to open the app and it is still searching for golf courses around me and won’t advance to the next step?

Great App but limited in usability. I started using this app awhile ago and gave up on it, until recently when I began golfing again more regularly. As a disabled veteran, it is definitely useful and I prefer it to writing my scorecards. The problem is, the “premium” features that I am using will run out and it will cost me to use the functions that I am enjoying right now. I’m on a fixed income so that isn’t feasible for me so I will invariably delete the app when I am out of the premium version time.

A bit disappointed.. I bought a year subscription with the idea that I would use this with my iWatch (series 2 and an iPhone 7 Plus). Used it today for the first time and was repeatedly disappointed with the time it takes to update yardage. The watch display seems to jump around before settling on a yardage. Furthermore, on two occasions I was 15 yards behind the 150 marker on the fairway and GolfLogix showed 148 and 150 yards. Big error there. Also there are too many distances to scroll through on the watch face. Maybe there's a setting for this. I will give it another chance but not a good start. Tips videos are nice and course graphics on the phone are good. Without those points it was a one star experience. My old Garmin remains the best I've found. One more thing, why not have a mode where the course is downloaded to the watch and you get front-back-center period; No Bluetooth necessary. The way things are I will NOT renew.

Great app! Be sure to understand Premium Subscription. My initial review was 1 star because The premium subscription automatically renewed and I was ignorant on how to cancel it. The developer in formed me that it was an Apple policy issue, which led me to Apple to figure it out. Outstanding support for this App. I found this app extremely useful on the course but the GPS accuracy relies upon the cellular signal. Poor reception, poor accuracy. I guess I need a better phone provider. :)

Golf logic. I have been using this app for a number of years. It provides a great way to see the course that I’m playing. Being able to select the tee box that I am playing from is nice. Having the ability to know how far I am from the green is great. The number of rounds that I have played is different from what is shown online. This gives me the feeling that my average and handicap probably is right. Also it takes quite a bit of time to get distances to the green. Tracking your club use seems like a basic feature that should be included.

Premium Upgrade and Customer Support. I recently upgraded to the Premium service....got charged for it but never got the features in the app. I have reached out to the app developers several times with no reply. FIX THE PROBLEM OR REFUND MY MONEY!! You can’t have both. Very surprising for what is usually a solid app. Customer support finally came through although too late for a tournament I needed it for BUT the app is great and I would still recommend to all golfers. Very helpful!!! Thanks to the support team for fixing my issue.

Helps to improve my game. I recently joined a private club that is a Fazio design with a challenging slope rating. I use the app to take pictures of the scorecard with the tee options and potential pin placements and I also upgraded my clubs so I have the ability to adjust my distances and probably the best feature is getting the stats post round. All of these features help toward improving my game.

Improved my game BIG TIME!. I am at the end of the 2020 season and I have tried many apps I have honed in on this golf logic app and absolutely love it this app in it’s free state. I improved my game I broke 100 and now I’m averaging 80 to 90 or because I play nine holes mostly I broke 50 and I’m averaging 40s so next year I am going to try the premium package for one season to see how much further I can I’m improve my game. Fantastic app thank you for allowing me to try it.

Disappointed. The intention was to use the app with my iPhone and iWatch. It doesn’t sync at all. But the worst part is the app itself. The instructions are non existent. Normally our foursome play 18 holes of golf in just over 3 hours. Trying to learn this app on the fly is impossible. The current ratings are very high on the app and I am only one person who seems to be having problems with how to use this app. Finally I don’t generally write bad reviews but maybe my expectations were too high This app is from a trusted company, however don’t buy it you without being able to find how to use it. I’m so sorry for this review, but it definitely shows my disappointment. Thanks

Buggy App; Haphazard Customer Service. I like the GPS yardages, but the scoring function often hangs up and prevents using the GPS functionality until you’re able to get the watch working again. I’ve elected to keep scores on the scorecard instead of using the app on the iPhone or the iWatch. I’ve had problems with billing and credits for incorrect billings, and my service has been shut off several times despite the fact that I payed for an annual “plus” membership up front. I’ll be looking for an alternative once my annual membership expires.

Accurate but time consuming. I’ve been using this app for a few years. It’s always worked great. No issues and very accurate with every golf course and very easy to use. However, I’m generally in a hurry and it takes time to load and reload the golf courses. Not sure how to fix that other than simplifying the app for people that just want to play golf without all the extra stuff that doesn’t matter.

GolfLogix. I never write reviews but this one is so bad it deserves it. This is crap. If it works sometimes it isn’t bad but mostly it doesn’t work. I used it on the free trial for one nine hole match. The next day it worked for the first hole and then said I used up the free trial and I had to pay. So since I was stuck in a round I paid the one month fee ( I have the credit card receipt) but it never came back even after I got a charge receipt from my card. It keeps claiming it needs to sync to my phone or that I need to pay more. I resync’d and rebooted numerous times. This is a rip off and a garbage app. Don’t get it.

Be aware of being double charged. The app itself works well, but when you upgrade and pay from iTune, they don’t automatically stop the subscription of the old plan and don’t tell you anything about it. I ended up being double charged for two years and GolfLogix refused to issue refund insisting it’s iTune’s problem when they should be responsible at least to remind you. I downgraded my plan in the end.

Phone App is Great, WATCH APP FAILS. The phone app is generally awesome. But I bought the premium subscription for the purpose of the watch app and club tracking and all the bells and whistles… If things continue how they’ve been, I’ll downgrade, delete, and find something that actually does what it claims to do. I’ve found no way to actually contact someone for support and it appears the failures are known issues. In all, the phone app is good and it’s the only thing that’s made the app even get the stars it has, but having known issues and a completely failed watch app is unacceptable.

Great workman app. I have used this app to my playing partners and I in over 30 rounds of golf. I like the ease of use and the ability, with good accuracy to terrain associate while playing my location to the pin. Also the flow of the greens for information on how to attack the pin. I am able to input my club ranges and it provides me insight on what club to use based on my ability from know results for clubs.

Awesome tech support. I have used GolfLogix for years and moved to Florida recently. When our club renovated the course and reordered the holes golflogix no longer matched our course. When I finally got tired of waiting for the course to update I contacted Golfligix tech support. I emailed them our new score card and within one day our course was updated. There are many new features I am enjoying now and I think GolfLogix is the best golf GPS app available.

App. I have been using the paid version of this app for many years and it’s always been a solid app. But this new revision is terrible, it doesn’t work nearly as well as past years why can’t you leave it alone. It doesn’t let you use you finger to move the distance to different obstacles like it used to. I usually have the hole finished before I get a distance, it takes forever to load. You had a great app and you again had to play ( upgrade) it. Sometimes less is more and in this case it was.

Okay but needs more. So the app is good, but I would like to see a couple of improvements. It does a really good job at yardages and club suggestion for me. And the Apple Watch feature is nice. Keeping core and comparing my stats is great. I would like to see more weather related advice as well such as wind direction on the app. I would also like to see club suggestions on the watch so I don’t have to pull out my phone. And might as well add in wind direction and speed. Bug fix for the Apple watch: I experienced an issue where the app on the watch would not shut off. I closed the app three times on the watch but it kept popping up. I finally had to restart my watch. The app on the phone shut down just fine after my round. And an additional note here the app on my watch was still on hours after I had finished playing and successfully closed the app on my phone.

Last update has broken this badly. I’ve been a premium member for a couple of years, and this app has generally worked ok. It’s always had a couple of annoying things, like not being able to add players until prior to starting the round, and not remembering other player scorecard settings, but they were minor things. HOWEVER...the latest update has completely broken this app! Now, regardless of which course I choose to start a new round on, the app loads up an already completed scorecard from a particular course and round from months ago, making it impossible to score a new round on any course anywhere. At the moment, this app is totally useless, and using up my paid premium time.

Loved the previous version, hate the latest. While the previous version was awesome, the latest 3D version is awful, especially for Approach and Putt Breaks. The older version had the ability to precisely locate your ball on the green use a cross-hair, so you could match distance from front and sides precisely. The new version doesn’t have this option. The green keeps moving on the newer version while the older version allowed you to lock the green view. The newer version only shows Approach yardages outside of 200 yards. Serious golfers know most approach shots are played inside 150 yards. Clearly the developers are not serious golfers and are enamored by “cool” graphics.

I don’t understand the 4.6 average rating?!?. Maybe just using the phone app is better, but I tried this with the watch and it was terrible. For over $50 for the year, I expect it to not take 15 seconds to figure out a yardage. And then not be off by 10 yards after that. 10 yards is a completely different club in many instances! So, after a half a round I decided it wasn’t for me and cancelled. The app says you get a 7 day free trial, but when I cancelled it said it would cancel next year! Uh, no, I’d like my refund per the 7 day trial. After waiting a few days a representative said I had to contact apple for a refund. What a crock. I don’t trust this company and won’t do business with them again.

Was a great golf gps app, no longer. I used this app all last year, I use it with an iPhone 14, and an iWatch. I loved the iWatch integration because when I was hitting my second or subsequent shots, I could quickly look at the watch for yardage. This year, with the updates, it has become unstable, where it no longer keeps the iWatch app active, making the quick check for yardage unusable, and the iPhone app closes on its own. I have posted to support numerous times and have followed their suggestions to remedy the problems, without achieving a fix. I plan on dropping this app as soon as I can find an alternative that works reliably unlike this unfortunately now buggy app.

New Version. I’ve been a customer since 2013 or so. The new version doesn’t seem to have all of the features it used to with regards to club distance tracking. It’s should be put back as a feature in the premium package. Additionally the website should be improved with more “how to” on using the app. There isn’t much information. All and all it’s a good purchase

Putting line feature needs improvement. Overall, it is a good app. However, putting feature is not much useful. It does not provide break or elevation estimates correctly. Drawing a line from the ball to the flag is difficult considering there is no way to tell the app actual ball position. It should use GPS coordinates to mark the ball and flag position and then draw a putt line. To mark ball and flag positions, golfer can click the button two times: First, standing at the ball position and second at the flag position. App should calculate GPS positions of markers and then draw a putt line taking into account break and elevation.

Greatest thing since slice bread. This is the best App I have use on my phone all year. It does everything except give you an handicap. The distance is right on and 96% of the course I have attend are on the App. I have golfed in Maryland, Virginia, Miami, and Pennsylvania. I just wish we could share rounds like 18 Birdies. Where you can see the round as your friends are playing. If I am on joke 3 and we have a group on 2, we can see their scores and they can see our scores as we play. I think that is a great feature to have. That will get you 5 Stars.

Approach and putting. The app is awesome on distance, hazards, layups, and just getting a good feel of a course your not familiar with, however, I am paying for the approach and putting app and 85% of the courses I play regularly aren't set up for this. You guys need to get with the program and get it going. Totally disappointed. I know it's only ten more dollars but wow. Why would you even offer it in my area if you don't have it ready to go? But I am going to keep using it for what I first mentioned.

Great App however. Love the App and its capabilities and quickness between steps and ability to store hundreds of rounds. I do not like being asked each time several times if I want the green reading capability. Please put it in settings. Plus every so many rounds it will ask me for a password why. Again ask the first time I set up not every time I update the App. Otherwise the App is very good and accurate within reason as compared to my rangefinder.

I love this app but please help!. This app is amazing! The gps location is almost always dead on and all of the features are amazing, I paid for a month to try it out today and the app only allowed me to play the front 9 and once I got into the back 9, the app told me I needed to upgrade even though I had already purchased it, I figured maybe I needed to be connected to WiFi for it to update but it is still not allowing me to get full access! If someone’s could please contact me that would be amazing!

Almost Perfect. Have used a few other apps that track “first putt distance”. First putt distance is important to know ( a 2 putt from 28’ is much different than a 2 putt from 4’. I use this app every time I play golf. It’s easy to use & gps is pretty accurate (premium adds Apple Watch features, which work well). Hope they add one feature; the ability to manually add (& track) first putt distance. Paying for premium and tracking first putt distance on my scorecard..

iPhone experience good...watch experience poor. The experience on the iPhone was very good. GPS worked very well, good club recommendations, and the scorecard was simple but comprehensive. My issue is with then watch experience. I paid for the Plus membership which should have given me a seamless experience on the watch. The watch never advanced holes and frequently returned to the home screen for no reason. I am very disappointed and feel like I just wasted $50 since I really wanted a good GPS for both watch and phone...I should have bought Hole19.

Great App - GPS and scoring. It's almost perfect - Have used it for years, captures all my scores for all years since I first got the App. I only wish it was possible to erase and restart the club distance data tracking. I do not consistently and properly use the feature which renders the data I have accumulated meaningless. But, according to the GolfLogix rep I spoke to, deleting the club data would also delete all the scores as well. This is a minor annoyance the App is great.

Tool for course management. I really enjoy understanding more about the golf courses I am playing. Helps me navigate and understanding the architect designed into the layout. One thing they should improve on is to show the tee box in the setup - showing me a running yardage to not only the green but from that particular Teebox, so then I can understand better how far my clubs are hitting. This is a very easy fix, and I think they are reluctant to utilize and change this future.

Poor customer service with glitches. I was playing a competitive round and could not turn on the “green view”. A message came up that took a screen shot ! I have never intentionally taken a screen shot and even checked my pictures and there aren’t any. What the heck ! It cost my a good round ! I have paid for the year and want to move somewhere else. I called customer service and they were very unhelpful as they insured I intentionally too screen shots which I have not. What do I need a screen shot for anyway ! Be warned.

Too much junk!. The golflogix app was excellent before they added the unnecessary green and putt features. They are a great attraction if you are a techi-geek and love to play with them in your armchair. But if you are out on the course, these options are a major distraction and take your attention off your game. They also slow down the pace of play which is not good on a heavily played course. Waste of money for fast play.

3D vs 2D Green Map Toggle Needed. Well I must say this app has really helped me with my alright to greens and keeping track of my stats... Until this last update that is. I've never like using the hole and ball feature on the green. I'm an architect and can read plans and contours just fine as 2D maps. Well it looks like they isn't even an option anymore as 3D is forced unless you hold your phone flat and even then we've lost the front of green symbol so I have to really push attention which way my phone is facing. Please add a toggle so that we can choose to see 2D like before or the new 3D greens.

I love it. From what I have found the GPS is very very accurate. Most guys I play with have electronic range finders and the yardages always match up. I think there is an advantage to using the GPS though. You always get front, middle, and back of the green yardages. This feature is super useful when figuring out how far you need to carry your approach shots. It's also very easy to see the yardage you need to carry fairway bunkers and hazards. Also the price for the premium version is very fair IMO. Great great value
