Life-changing!. This app is very easy to use! Snap a photo and they do the rest. There are more report features if you login online but it’s exactly what I need to track expenses for my small biz. It has saved me so much time that I can now put towards growing my business.

Showboxed. I was using another receipt App that I liked alot but they are shutting down. So I have been searching and trying many that are out there and Shoeboxes has met my needs. Glad to have found them and enjoying the App. Thank you Shoeboxed

Super easy to use on the go. Being able to snap a picture of a receipt and forget about it makes my life so much easier. When I'm ready to tally things up, the option to log in and run reports from a computer is super handy!

Some recommendations. When you add the information yourself, the name of the store/restaurant starts off lower case type. It would be nice if whenever you type, it would start uppercase. Also, there should be an option to use the upload feature for free, but with advertisements instead of only the pay option

So far so good.. Shoeboxed has come a long way over the years. I really appreciate the simple interface. However if you're looking for a basic recipe tracker I am not sure if this is it. This is definitely aimed toward business customers and work related expenses. Not something I'd upload my everyday receipts to just for safe keeping. Love the option to mail in receipts and have Brit team enter the data for you. Love the gasoline sync feature. It's pretty awesome just a bit much for the every day user.

Simple, useful app, no complaints. Didn't keep it long Just caught my eye when I was looking for an app that will save and store all my receipts simply, FREE, and hassle freee. I did like it but I had to remove it because I don't think I should/would pay for this tho.... just not one to pay for apps 🤷🏻‍♀️ (especially one just to store my receipts in) lol. Over all nothing bad to say I recommend it.

Surprisingly simple and intuitive. I got this to keep receipts and be able to track tax expenditures. It will definitely help with that, but I didn't know it would transcribe the pictures of my receipts into usable text and give me even more useful reports. It's nice to be surprised at how well an app is designed!

Potentially useful. I’ve yet to utilize this app to its full potential, but am relatively pleased with the archival features for eliminating “shoeboxes”. For a digital rolodex, it works quite well. For a receipt repository, it has the storage component down, but lacks versatility for non-standard receipt formats (does not recognize non-roller paper receipts fully). I think the OCR process needs some work to react better to a wider range of receipts.

Very good organizational tool for receipts. I travel a lot for business. When I take a trip, I simply log my receipts and other expenses and send myself a report with the total costs and I am done. I did not give it the 5th star because it doesn't allow or can’t figure out how to send one group of receipts to a report.

Review. Love this App! I've tried quite a number of different receipt managing apps and this is by far my favorite of them all. And super convenient easy lay out in navigation and just a great app to keep up with receipts and tracking personal spending. Would recommend and have recommended this to many others!

Exactly what I needed. I’ve been going through a rough patch in a relationship and I’ve been recommended to keep track of my spending. This app is perfect for that, plus the one month free premium trial is a nice touch. 10/10 this app is great for storing all your documents, receipts, & business cards to de-clutter your wallet!

Great but not perfect. Been using for 6 months plus. I only use it as a mileage tracker. Hardest part is remembering to hit the start button, and when stopped, to hit stop button. Got a question? their customer service is fantastic. If you ask them a question they actually answer it, and same day. Seriously you don't see that at many companies today.

Best app for receipts. After trying a multitude of apps and software to keep and organize my work and personal receipts, I stopped looking when I found Shoeboxed. It is the best-priced with the most features. Take a photo of your receipt or use snail-mail to send in receipts using prepaid envelopes provided by Shoeboxed. Another available option I have not tried is to have Shoeboxed automatically scan your email inbox for receipts. For each receipt submitted, Shoeboxed inputs all the information from each receipt and remembers how you want to categorize receipts from a given store. Create custom expense reports and include the scan of the original receipt if you wish. According to Shoeboxed, all digitized receipts are accepted by the federal government if you wish to use them for tax purposes. If I could give this app six stars I would!

Great service, mobile app needs multi page receipts. Let me say that shoeboxed’s service is EXCELLENT, they pick up the phone unlike many other expense apps and they aren’t outsourced to someone you can’t understand which is huge. The mail in feature is great and the web app works well. The reason for 3 stars is that the mobile app only allows for 1 page receipts and for someone who deals almost exclusively with full multi page receipts this is very limiting. In order for me to use this service I have to go to the office or jump through hoops adding a receipt as multiple expenses and then merging them together in the web app all while going against my monthly total for something that is 1 receipt. Please please please add multi page support for the app!

Great app, annoying problem. This app is great... except for the fact that if one doesn’t pay monthly for their service that automatically enters the field information and opts to add receipt information in manually, when finished, the date, method of payment, and tax amounts magically disappear. One must then go back in and re-enter in the information again. My guess is that this is a bug to make people frustrated enough that they will upgrade to the automatic service for a monthly fee. If they would fix this bug, I would give the app 4-5 stars.

Amazing app. Shoeboxed is an amazing and convenient app. Perfect for on the go receipt and business card scanning. It’s easy to export weekly or monthly receipts with a push of a button, and I can even export my business card information on to my phone.

Best app for receipt support. I love Shoeboxed since they've improved it two years ago. I've returned and started to use it and found it it's easier than other receipt softwares I've tried. It's also quickest and fastest. Time saver for sure.

Finally. Finally a competitor to ####. Although more pricey, you get first hand service with actual people looking at your documents, there’s no convoluted system of credits and half software half Internet-based interface attempts. The jury is still out but so far so good, I’m impressed and I’m in love! We’ll see how long the honeymoon phase lasts and turns into a marriage. That’s one of the only reasons for the four stars instead of five although I would like the ability to edit the photos lately within the app even rudimentary items such as cropping

Easy to use!. I hate saving receipts but I also want to make sure it’s properly recorded. I’ve had waiters in the past up-charge their tip without my authorization. Shoeboxed does all the work for me. All I have to do is scan the receipt and they’ll add the amount for me and where it came from. Love it!

Great idea, okay execution. I was really excited because this app is so useful! It helps me cut down on organizing and maintaining paper receipts for my taxes. However, I thought that it would use OCR to immediately process receipts, instead it seems to use people, which takes a lot longer. There do seem to be other apps that process quicker, though I think the paid version of this app gives you priority.

Accurate and neat. I like being able to import all the data into a spreadsheet and immediately jump to receipts. When I photocopy them on a scanner bed it’s hard to quickly find what I need but with this you can click on the name and jump right to the receipt. Wish I knew how to edit the pdf easier if I need to add or subtract a receipt and I wish that I could just download instead of email the information and then download it

Room for Improvement. Overall, this is fine. I would appreciate an archive function or automatically marking that something has been exported. It would great if you could tag items more than one at a time. Like how you can export one at a time, it would be wonderful to be able to do the same but be able to mark 5 receipts as reimbursed at once instead of one at a time. I’m still looking for something with a better UI, but for now this is fine.

Great for small business. I recently started my own business and having the ability to snap a picture of my receipts and have the organized by different expense categories makes my life a lot easier. And with the ability to integrate with with my accounting software is fantastic.

Use and Interface Review. Really love the Gmail Receipt Sync function. Very, very handy and have been needing something like this! I wish I found this earlier before I filed my taxes, but I have it now and it's great. I've definitely run into the problem of receipt ink fading off and not being able to read it several months later, so this solves that problem. Apart from its use, which is great, my only comment is about the user interface. There is an "Upgrade for Free" bar which I think kind of looks like an ad and disrupts the look and feel of the app. Maybe this could be more of a pop-up reminder when your receipts are being transcribed? I think the app looks great overall, but there are a couple of other blue colors used in the app that don't look consistent with the Shoeboxed blue. Otherwise, love this and have already shared with friends!

New app update. I have used this service for 3 years, always with good results. My CPA and I are both happy! The latest update has a problem, I login and it’s blank, no data. I go to the website and everything is there, no problem. So I tried to check the app settings and it’s also a blank screen. Great service but the new app has an issue. Update; Yes, I had an issue with the new app not working. I contacted the help desk and with in 24 hours they responded, acknowledging that the app had a problem and the working app had replaced it in the App Store. I I followed her instructions to uninstall the old app and install the replacement, every thing is working wonderfully now! Good Job Guys!

Highly Recommend!. I’ve been using this app for several years and recommend it to EVERYONE! Recently, for the first time EVER, there was some issues with the app and I had to reach out to customer support. They were veeeery responsive and the issue was resolved in a matter of days. Moreover, they followed up with me to ensure the issue had been resolved. As a small business owner, keeping track of my receipts is an important part of my business and Shoeboxed has never let me down.

Crazy price increase. I was a super early user of this app. It went from 99$ a year for 4 years to 130$ last year to $144 this year. No one bothered to tell me they were increasing their prices drastically. They just charged my card without saying. I’m an individual not a business and never okay to charge more without asking. After much research I decided foreceipt works best for me and it’s 9.99 a year. I have to enter some details like amount but I actually prefer to that because my receipts are sometimes split deductions and non deductions. As for shoeboxed it’s fine enough for taxes etc but can’t imagine anyone paying 99$ 69$ or even $29 A MONTH. That’s their new pricing plan. Deleted ,

Does Not Work Consistently. I used this app all of last year and although it would have bugs on some days, I could deal with it. Contacting developers and told to delete app and reload it. It worked for a day or so and then started its issues. This year is is awful. Constantly not loading my image. Sometimes just shutting down. Constant errors loading. I would entertain buying an upgrade but if it doesn't work with a free account, I have no faith paying the upgrade will solve its problems. I out to look for something else to track my receipts and sales tax.

You’ll need to re-check every receipt.. I’ve been using Shoeboxed for years and I’m done. I started double checking every receipt manually after I began catching errors in amounts and categories. It’s gotten worse over time. They just missed a few receipts for me totaling over $7k!!! I can’t tell if they’re outsourcing work to countries where English isn’t the first language but some of the receipt entries make no logical sense. Some of the prices are numbers that don’t exist anywhere on the receipt. I’m done. Use Quickbooks.

All items MIA- review updated. I trusted this app with my data. I really like it, however all my saved items from years back are no where to be found. This is the second and last time. I am so disappointed...it was great while it lasted. Today the info is back.... I don't know what to think!!

It’s ok, need to pay for service for it to really be good.. I installed the app for my small business and was asked to pay if I upload over 5 receipts to be processed by them. So I tried to input about 10 manually to continue my free service and was surprised to login again and see they were gone! Felt cheated. You have to pay for their monthly service.

Must have!. I have use this app for several years now and absolutely love it. It is help keep me organized with all of my receipts in one place. You’re able to email receipts to your inbox or scan them with your phone. It is saved us so much time when it comes to doing her taxes or going over our budget. It’s very easy to use as well

Almost there, but.... I use this app for my businesses every day; I have a larger plan. Mileage tracker has issues. I like the simplicity of the app. I hate that I have to make corrections to every processed receipt. Every time! The date is always off by one day. No one at Shoeboxed ever records the tax amounts off the receipts. Often don’t even record the payment method. Fix the mileage tracker and pay attention to the details on the receipts and this could be great.

Cost of free app, NOT free😡. In my opinion, this is false advertisement! A ripoff! This is ridiculous! Nowhere does it tell you cost until you have wasted your time putting in the first 5 receipts! Only 5 free receipts a month allowed, yes or no? I'm confused! A business person has more than 5 receipts a month. After that, you have to pay. You have an app advertised as free, but when it's downloaded you are only allowed 5 downloads then are led to options to pay for app. Why don't you show full disclosure upfront? How can an app like yours have any credibility if you try to trick the consumer? Very very disappointed. 1 star only because it won't accept my comment without selecting a star. Actually it's -1 star from me.

It saved me time and spared me many headaches!. For anyone who has too much to do and never enough time this is a godsend! My tax prep team loved the reports and desktop options. They are recommending to all their starter uppers! It spared me of the checking for all receipts, cataloguing, archiving... in a nutshell it saves time and sanity! Just one tweak that would help-the save to shoebox from texts isn’t working. It opens the app but still requires me to upload the image to my photo gallery. Not a big deal just extra steps you seem to be trying to edit out... I am eager to see that feature work.

It just works👍. You know how sometimes you just need an app that actually does what it says it will? This is that app. Keeps track of expenses just like I needed, clean interface and easy to use. No reason to look any further if that is what you need.

Slim wallet. Just downloaded this app – it was easy and intuitive to use and the picture comes out great of your receipt! I wanted something to keep track of all my receipts instead of stuffing them into my wallet! I tend to keep receipts for up to a year in the event that anything ever needed to be returned so this gives me peace of mind. Also it is nice that you can organize your receipt for medical expenses. Concerns I have are simply whether stores will except a digital receipt in lieu of paper original. Time will tell.

Great organizing app. This app has been great for helping sort my mountain of receipts. I take photos right from my iPad and I can manually enter the data or get them processed automatically for 10 cents a pop. Either way helps me organize the useful info for tax season and gives me a digital backup.

Helpful. All is very helpful with a lot of potential. To be able to upload receipts onto my smartphone in one convenient location, without having to keep track of the physical copy, is an incredible find. 4 stars only because of how long it takes the app to upload the receipt, but once the developers nail that down and make it faster this will be more than a 5 star app.

Functional, bug-free performance. A lot of the scanners I've used are finicky about the camera, and tend to freeze up or shut down under heavy usage. Shoebox keeps things humming smoothly with no bugs. Good app, with the kind of no-frills functionality that I consider important.

Impressive. I was told by fellow business owners about this app, I was a bit skeptical at first because I'm not very tech savvy but this app is impressive . It reads the longest to shortest receipt and recognizes all the info so you are not wasting time taking a picture and then having to input info. Would recommend

PLEASE update mileage rates!. I have used this app for a few years but last year or was several months before I had to stop manually changing the mileage rate to the IRS rate. Why isn’t the default automatically changed? Would also like to have mileage info more consolidated for end of year tax purposes-a ton of pages with printed maps of each route is not realistic to give to my accountant. Having actual mileage and not just the cost is what I need (especially since it was well into the year last year before I realized you didn’t update the rate!). I’ve been very loyal and like this for keeping receipts but mileage needs to be simpler for me to continue to use.

So far, so good!. I like that shoeboxed integrates with my bookkeeping software. I've been looking for a better way to manage receipts and seems like this is the solutions I've been hoping for. It handles both digital and paper receipts and saves me time. It is easy to use and keeps me organized.

Inconsistent and not all features work. I use the free version where I enter the information myself. When I select the date of the receipt in the app, it doesn't make it to my actual account. I have to select the date for the receipt all over again. Also sometimes I can see all of my receipts in the app, sometimes I can see some of them, and sometimes I get a completely blank page...none of them show. It is, however, reliable for sending the receipt image to my account so far. But that seems to be all it's good for.

Saves space, not time. I want to love it but cannot. It loses receipts and is kind of confusing to use. The feature for recognizing receipts in my inbox does not work- I have to forward them. There should be a warning sent when an item did not get processed somehow. I had some free time ( rare as a business owner) and scrolled through trying to see what had been processed and also looking for lost receipts for my rent. I found a receipt from early Feb that said “error in processing” or something like that. I don’t have that much time to go back and make sure it got processed. Luckily I had the receipt and re-entered it. I guess I cannot throw out receipts until I check to make sure they went through that is time consuming. At least my banker boxes are emptying out. It’s more time to file and check to make sure it got filed but eventually, you don’t have to have a garage to store your business receipts.

Great app, poor support. I love the app and use it daily, but I have run into a few issues, like the ability to upload a refund (negative amounts are impossible). I've searched the help site and emailed several times for support and while I previously got a reply within a day or two, my latest request has been outstanding for several weeks. If I could get this resolved, I'd rate the app as 5 stars again.

Good service. Overall I’m happy with this service. The app has a few bugs, and the website is quirky, but it generally works ok. It’s a bit slow, and not especially good at recognizing receipts in foreign currency, but I always verify everything before exporting an expense report. Nice that you can export as both Excel (csv) and PDF. The PDF includes the photos of your receipts. Also, you can forward email receipts so you don’t need to use the app for those.

Consistently good. I have been using Shoeboxed for at least five years now. It has save me a ton of time and it is very easy to use. They recently did an upgrade and there was a minor glitch and I reported it. They actually cared and emailed me several times until they did an update and fixed it. They are very customer service friendly. Highly recommend.

Great Idea but needs fixing. This app. Is very easy to use and would be perfect but the settings area doesn't allow you to do much. I tried to subscribe to the service and even got a receipt from itunes saying I've paid but it won't acknowledge that Ive paid. When I went to the settings area to cancel my subscription (because I cant use it) it doesn't have any area to cancel. So I logged onto the website and the page doesn't load properly onto my Iphone and I cant read it. So unless I log on from a computer, I screwed.

Misleading free trial. No option to easily cancel the annual subscription, very misleading since it is supposed to be 30days free trial. Impossible to have an answer through the phone, no reply by email and no chat option available, so how are you supposed to cancel this auto renewal subscription?! Very frustrating.

Perfect for professionals!. This app is a must-have for all professionals! It makes keeping track of receipts and mileage extremely easy and you no longer need to keep notes on your phone or take pictures of receipts!

Couldn’t get an expense report. Expense report is linked to the default mail app which is buggy on its own. You should just be able to see a spreadsheet instantly of any numbers without any linking to mail required. Date and category was rarely processed correctly. It takes too long to manually add any information that has been missed. Everything should be one tap away. Ended up just using a calculator and a spreadsheet because the expense report wasn’t working.

Pas sure que c'est utile pour les comptables. Pour une application Mac, on ne peut exporter les données en excel, seulement en csv, demande beaucoup d'effort. Ne reconnait pas les taxes canadiennes. Ne me sauveras pas de temps.

Very organized. A very organized app perfect for receipt tracking

Super cool app!. I am one of those people who have been sitting beside a basket of unruly receipts! They taunt me and make me feel horrible for ignoring them. Each week "go through and log receipts" makes it to my to do list.... but every week I pretend like I don't see it there. Then one day I stumbled upon this little app that glowed much brighter than all the other apps in the bunch... it was like the clouds parted, the sun came out and angels started to sing!!! There are others out there like me? And someone thought of the brilliant idea of doing the daunting job of scanning, recording and verifying my receipts for me?! Is this for real? So I decided to download the app and give it a go. It's very easy, take a photo of your receipt, make a little note, categorize and send it off for Shoeboxed to extract the relevant info. Within 24 hours I had my first entry and it was correct!! Two wee problems and maybe it's me, but when I went to create the "report" of my one receipt test... it took my total and added the tax even though in my record it was correct. And I was hoping that it would download my records into an excel file so I could edit. Oh!!! And then today I received notice from them that I can put all my nasty receipts into the "magic" envelope and they would magically appear in the app all verified and happy!! I'm signing up to make that happen! I just downloaded it last night and already it's my fav. If you have a specialty and bookkeeping ain't it... this app is a must!!!

So can somebody explain?!. The cost to record each receipt is about 50 cents. How is this any use to anybody? If you are worried about your expenses, the best saving would be to avoid this app.

A darn good idea. The premise is excellent. Such a good idea.. But its not fast enough for processing receipts and only 5 credits For downloading.. My business does about 40 receipts a day.

Not disappointed but impressed. I have been looking for a receipt tracker for my organization and this seems to do what is needed. I have not seen the expense report yet but I am excited to see it work!

Only 5 receipts per month.... Unless you upgrade to a paid account. Only looking for something for personal use, deleted this immediately after I saw that.

free but not really. Seems ok, with good features, but was turned down by the fact it only auto-processes 5 receipts per month on the free plan. Going back to Wave Receipts.

So far so good. It seems fairly intuitive, but it's just a matter of being diligent with using it.

Awesome bill management capabilities. I’d give this a 5star, but the mobile app doesn’t allow you to quick select previous vendors. Otherwise fully functional and very useful.

Waste of time. I scanned one receipt in as a test. It was for CAD$99 but after being processed it appeared as USD$123. I deleted it and tried again. A full 24 hours later it had yet to be processed. Ridiculous. I’d give it zero stars if that was an option.

Complete Rip Off - A good idea WAY overpriced!. This may very well be a great idea for an app, however it is extremely overpriced for what it offers. Please do not waste your time downloading. All it will do is get your time invested into an application that does not provide the service worthy of the time or cost. Simply hire an accountant, you will need one anyways. Use a real shoebox instead. Unless this application offer full functionality for no more than $4.99 total, with ongoing updates and improvements, don't even bother.

Read the Terms and Agreement. I'm not convinced if you read the terms, you will understand that by using shoebox you agree to allow shoebox to access and distribute your business contacts and and spending information to third party media and organizations. If I'm supplying shoebox that much valuable information I don't want to have to pay shoebox $10 to do it. Not enough give and take for my liking

Can't use enough to rated. Free version only make me "scan" 5 receipts per month. Not enough to make it a try. Find a good free app that will do the same thing with unlimited scans...

Great!. I love Shoeboxed because it's easy to use, navigate and go back into past entries. I like the monthly limit because then I am obligated to spend less in my personal finances. Works well for my business as well.

Pretty awesome!. I can see how this app will be very useful in the near future. Only things I don't like is if you forget to start the GPS tracker for mileage you can not manually enter in data and you can’t auto set it to CDN

Mileage tracking. I really like this app but the mileage tracking crashes every time I go to end a trip. Other than that it’s good. Take my review with a grain of salt because I’m currently working with support to work out the problem. So far their response to the problem is very quick.

Opportunity Cost. Shoeboxed is an easy method of documenting and organizing receipt in realtime, so I can spend my time getting back to business.

Verification process. Every picture of a reciept is "verified" by shoeboxed . It takes a long time and the ocr does not recognize all the details. Not very impressive.

Deceptive advertising!!!!!. Seems like a good idea until you get in and are told you have 5 credits (5 free receipts entry) then you have to pay $9.95/month in order to enter anymore receipts. That' $119.40/yr. You can pay less to have a bookkeeper or accountant not only categorize and account for your receipts but also file your taxes. Especially is this no cost savings when you are a small business person.

Worst app ever. I used this app for a year straight. I put several thousand dollars worth of receipts in here and when I tried to send myself a expense sheet it was not an option. Even there tech support was no help. If I could give this a negative star rating I would. oh and the kicker.... even tho I don’t use it anymore there is no way to stop them from charging me the monthly fee for a service I don’t use.

Organized and friendly. Shoeboxed has a very nice interface. It is simple and user-friendly, but it is also customizable. Organizing expenses is made easy with this app.

Great app for storing receipts electronically. Strongly recommended for small business owners, landlords and individuals who claim deductions on their taxes. Keep records and very accurate. Remember to change settings for taxes to HST and change mile to KM. Good Luck and happy scanning.

Great app!. Just the app I was looking for! I use this for tracking my receipts and the auto calculate feature is such a time saver! Paying $10 month is a little steep for auto entering 50 receipts. In addition to filing your taxes and ensuring a legal maximum return, an account will do calculate unlimited receipts for the same cost.

Good but not great. Easy to scan and upload, but it has bugs and sometimes duplicates receipts. Some categories appear inexplicable with the HTML code, some bug. It has been helping me but it can use a redesign soon.

Easy to use. I love using the mileage tracker. I drive hundreds of miles per day. This makes it so easy to track mileage and fuel cost.

Effective & Easy. This app is easy to use and does a good job only gave 3 stars as I would like to be able to add payment options ( such as ‘charged on account’). Also would like to add/edit expense categories. Also the payment method is not on expense report... which is not ideal.

Love this!. As a realtor, this app has made my life easier. I hate making spreadsheets and saving a million receipts. I immediately take a photo of my gas receipt, office expense, etc- and it’s immediately categorized and filed. Highly recommend.

Great App. Worth the investment. Easy spreadsheet reports and great mileage tracking. Only dislike I have is that you have to break up a round trip drive or it will decrease the miles on the way back

Easy Convenient Fun. This app is the top receipt scan mail service I have used. Sold my nest desk since it was collecting dust. The mail service at shoeboxed is so easy. Time saver and made my life much less stressful for bookkeeping.

More than what i expected. This app was just what i was looking for to stay organized with my receipts. It was easy to use and haven’t had any issues with it.

Great organizer. My husband always gets on me about leaving my receipts everywhere, so this app is perfect for me! In addition, as a teacher, it is a great app to use when it is time to file your taxes or just reimbursements from school! I wish I had found Shoeboxed earlier.

Mileage Tracker DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. I tried tracking my miles today as I do deliveries with my car. I started tracking then checked after 6 hours and it did not track any of the miles, said I only drove 2.5 miles when I actually did around 30, complete garbage app at the moment. I recommend Stride, used it for 2 years and has worked Amazingly. Was looking for another app and this is not it.

2nd Time User. I've had Shoeboxed for a while. My first experience with it was so so. This time around they are a great many improvements. Overall great to be able to snap a picture of come back later and have a expense report.

Great app for tracking expenses. I love that I can scan in my receipts, choose a category, and that's it! I wish I would have had this last year so I could have been more prepared for tax season.

Works well. Haven’t had a chance to make much use of it yet but so far I’m liking it. Clean interface and ease of use. I do wish you could opt out of uploading the receipts for auto filling the info. There might be an option I’m missing. Keep up the good work!

I’ll be prepared for next tax season!. I love that you can upload and categorize receipts with this app. I had so many fade from last year that couldn’t be claimed. It’s so much easier to track mileage now too!

Shoeboxed Five star. I am a tax preparer for businesses; especially long distance truck drivers. Before my clients started using Shoeboxed, I spent countless non- recoverable time receiving, organizing and computing receipts. Then I met Shoeboxed. It was the best thing my company did. Awesome and easy. This app replaces my scanner, does a better job and is just plain fun to use. I’m entering all receipts for business and personal and am able to keep them separate.

Not bad. It’s decent enough but I wish it would do a tally of your receipts in the app with out you having to go through an select every receipt you want an expense report on. Or have a select all button for an expense report/ reports by category from the app.

Junk. Downloaded the app and immediately paid for the subscription. Uploaded two files for processing and after 18 plus hours it still hadn’t finished the OCR on either receipt. Contacted their chat to get some direction and was asked if I had contacted their support email. I said no I was expecting to get some information from you. The person on the other end disappeared and I decided this app isn’t worth it even for free. I’ll look elsewhere and so should you.

Great for work!. I had all our employees download this app and it’s fantastic! Easy for them to keep track of their receipts and then they just email me the report! Super user friendly!!!

Best app for receipt tracking!. I do several different kinds of freelance work and shoeboxed has been able to help me keep all my purchases organized so that I'm fully prepared when tax season rolls around!

Latest version has issues. The camera takes photos of receipts, but some save and the others do not. And the receipts from the app do not sync with desktop online version since April 14th; when I installed the update on my iPhone.

Great for organizing!. So handy for keeping track of receipts and categorizing them as well. Works out great too when my doctor’s billing dept sends me a bill (months down the road) for a copay that was already paid...I just pull up the filed receipt and problem solved! Love it <3

Virtual Shoebox. Definitely serves its purpose! Been using this app for 3+ years (free version), and haven’t had any issues! Bugs get fixed quickly and customer service is very friendly!

Easy way to organize. Finally an easy way to organize & keep track of expenses.

Outstanding solution. This app saved me so much time. Being able to quickly enter expenses is critical since I lose receipts while traveling. The invoice tool is wonderful and makes billing easier.

This is the one office managers!. I really couldn't ask more from this app. Take a pic of receipt, type in the clients name where I used the material and boom. All saved into my Quickbooks too! Great app which is making my job easier

Freaking awesome. Really love that a team of people came up with a way to make it easy on society to get what they deserve back in taxes. The service is amazing and what they do how easy they make it for such a little fee. Highly recommended!!

Clear out the filing cabinet!. Tracking and managing your spending just got simple! As quick as it takes you to whip out your phone and snap a quick pic of your receipt before you even start your car to leave the store! (Please recycle your receipts!)

I didn’t even use the app before I deleted it. I understand you have already advertised “in app purchases” but it would be better if you stated there is a monthly fee up front. Waste of my time downloading an app that is supposed to be free with in app purchases not a monthly fee. You should fix that so people know up front and your not considered deceitful

Shoebox. So user friendly, great way to stay a new year on the right foot! Will make year end tax deductions easy as 123. Also great way to see where your money goes in a split second!

So far so good!. This app is easy and does what I need (and probably more!) I can track receipts and mileage for a job that only requires intermittent travel, and the expense reports it makes are simple and straightforward

Ease of App. I found this app to be easy to use! There are a variety of features that can be utilized. I look forward to making the most out of my 2018 expense tracking.

Great App. I have just started using this APP and am very impressed with its functions. Also impressed me that the company will allow you to mail them receipts to scan for you! WOW!

Shoebox that always with you. I snap a picture of my receipt and it get processed and it is sent back to the app. The hardest part is training myself to snap the picture and not put the receipt in my pocket for later date.

Very helpful!. This is great to keep track of school receipts and receipts for my small business supplies! I like being able to choose different categories!

New App is slooooooow. The revamp looks nice but takes several seconds to load screens, save changes, etc. It also takes days to finish syncing. This is probably due to having receipts since 2005. The old one only loaded what was needed and performed all tasks very quickly. I can no longer rely on this app to make changes due to the slow speeds and slow data syncing.

Looks promising. Looks like a great app. I have uploaded two receipts in the past day but they are both still pending. It’s easy to use. I would also like for it to be able to share as PDF not just a readable link. Thanks!

6 Years Strong. I have been using this app for six years now and love it. A great way to document your receipts for the long run and for tax purposes.

Great. I think that the app is great. It’s easy to use and functional. I would like to see it have some type of a little to search your whole mailbox for receipts when you first attach an account.

Accurate and easy. I just recently downloaded Shoeboxed. No problems so far. My first receipt was transferred accurately from the image to the app and the information is easy to access. I'm looking forward to next years tax work (maybe).

Great App!. This app keeps receipts effortlessly. You can subscribe to let them do it for you, which is very convenient or you can do it yourself for free. Either way all your receipts are in one place ready to be printed out or sent as a report. Love this app!

Garbage app do not get it. This app is garbage hands down. I only downloaded this app because I saw it advertised on TV. You can take a picture of your receipt that works fine when you have to enter your information scrolling through your selections such as your date and typing in your dollar amount and your tax amount then when you hit done no information is there you have to manually enter it in again

Works great so far. Quick set up and bordered the document and auto took the picture/scan perfectly. I would definitely recommend.

Not worth it. I have used Shoeboxed for years and they are consistently mediocre. I have paid $10 monthly and the services I get are paltry. The receipts are rarely fully transcribed with 100% accuracy and sometimes the iOS app transmits only part of the data, leaving me scrambling to manually enter the rest... And the worst part is I've called their customer support and they did nothing to make the situation right. Very frustrating.

Potentially useful. I’ve yet to utilize this app to its full potential, but am relatively pleased with the archival features for eliminating “shoeboxes”. For a digital rolodex, it works quite well. For a receipt repository, it has the storage component down, but lacks versatility for non-standard receipt formats (does not recognize non-roller paper receipts fully). I think the OCR process needs some work to react better to a wider range of receipts.

New interface 😍. LOVE the new interface and the ability to snap multiple photos for long receipts!!

Pay for Service that ends in Errors. I would not suggest this app. It may or may not upload your image and they have a very strange upload system for your documents. There should be no upload system which means your private information is going to a private server with no warnings etc. Also if the upload fails you loose your image of the receipt.

I loose things easily. But shoebox solves those problem for me. I absolutely love shoebox app. I deal with a lot of receipts and sometimes I can't keep track of them. Shoebox helps me keep track of them and organize them into little folders.

It was very Convenient. I downloaded this for my Job, so that it could be more convenient for us and so we can be more organized when serving our customers, safe to say I wasn’t disappointed.

Fairly strraightforward and easy to use. I have loved how easy to use it is, and how straighforward it is. I got it to help us keep track of many of the day to day expenses of my self employed husband.

Disappointed. I just downloaded this app and started adding receipts. Everything was great until I had added five receipts and got a notice that's the limit for the month. I probably wouldn't mind so much only being able to load five receipts a month, but since this is my first time using the app, I thought I'd be able to add as many as I needed.

Poor Integrations and Uninterested Customer Support. Overall the idea is great, unfortunately the app doens't work regularly and the snail mail option has no consistency. The purpose of simplicity in receipt and mileage tracking ins't happening. I started with this company in late 2014 and really tried to hang in there... however instead of improving they seem to be headed in another direction. When I speak with customer service they seem to have lost faith in their company as well.
