Good economic data source. A fine app, worth 5 stars if it would include summary and breakdown data (percentage) of the total Federal spending for the current budget year and previous years. Also needed is data on the percentage of total Federal debt to GDP over years.

Rick. Extremely useful and fast data source for a broad and relatively deep range of economic data. Love it.

Excellent informative application !!!. I just upgraded to v2.0. Very good enhancements including landscape mode charts. Great app to keep track of a variety of economic indicators. Easy to use and very fast loading.

Really needs an update. Data, graphing and info are all great but this app needs some enhancements to be usable for an investor. Chiefly, it needs to include a way to sort on upcoming indcators. It's not enough to know something is published monthly. I need to know what's being published this month (even better, this week) and when. I purchased this application over a year ago and I still don't use it for this reason. I wish the coders would add this enhancement, then I would use it nearly every day.

Like FRED but better. As I said in title, like FRED but better... Worth the buy if you happen to be interested in macroeconomic trends and so forth. I was surprised by how well this app functions. Nice work, developers. Simple, clean app. Thanks

Very useful, no complaints. Lots of useful data, easy to navigate. Background information is provided describing the various economic metrics. State and national data, with reference to data sources. Graphs are intuitive with adjustable time ranges. Users can also change axis to absolute values or percent changes.

Buggy and Outdated. Reason I bought was because of how much data it had available. Could use an update into 2020

A wealth of information. First I would like to say I do really think there is 4 stars worth of program here. I looked for consumer confidence and found the listing method was ok but a bit clunky. I do not wish to be an arm-chair reviewer, because I do not have a helpful suggestion for organizing data access in a better fashion. Actual dates for data release would be exceptionally cool - maybe a calendar format or just a date for the next release next to the event.

Needs to be more user friendly. I wish we can sort by date; want to see latest data 1st for all categories on top. Also in the state section, wish there were more options for views. For example, i would want an option to see view specifically for my state instead of scrolling down to state alphabet. Additionally, it'd be nice if there was an option to group some states data. Also, just as in national data, it'd be nice if I could review latest data released across all states. Info on some of the metrics could be more detailed. Some metrics don't have any info and don't provide significance of what it means. ISM data had good info. Hopefully, developers can use that as an example to fill our more info on metrics lacking info. Program only gets Fed data plus manufacturing index from ISM. It would be nice to see them take it further to include all data. Love the graphs. Speed of the app is great. The idea is right, needs more enhancements. Love the graphs.

Best App for tracking economic indicators. Been using it since 2009, and it has been great

More historical data. In addition to the comment about more recent data bring needed, I miss how there was much more historical data in early editions of this app. Would like the option to go back in time to the earliest data points no matter how old they are. Have enjoyed this app over many years, and I’m grateful there’s still some support.

Tons of economic data and graphs at your fingertips. It’s nice to choose graph time scales to see long term trends. Looking at the information makes me want to see and do more! Perhaps future versions could add features to make data exploration and comparison even easier: • Label vertical axis to make graphs clearer. • Auto-rotate graphs to maximize screen use. • Simultaneously display two graphs on the same page. • Graphs with different scales could be shown one above the other, or with separate vertical scales. Then for example the user could look for a visual correlation between exchange rates and net exports. • Showing imports and exports on the same graph would make it clear at a glance that the US is running a trade deficit, and would show the size of the deficit relative to imports and exports. • Show US trade with China or Asia.

Good app. Would be even better if Dow and S&P went back more than 2 years historical and there were clearer definitions about what the practical uses of some of these charts measured.i.e., this measure of unemployment is highly correlated with government spending and differs from the other unemployment figures in 2 key ways... Analysts use this to help predict/forecast future trends in inflation, etc.,...

Outstanding App!. This app is worth buying. I think it's great how I can check a variety of important economic indicators all in one app. Please add some more indicators in future updates, such as Consumer Spending, Consumer Confidence,...etc. Thanks!

Major economic data in one easy location. I find this app a great little tool for looking at economic data in one quick and easy way. App works great and has lots of data.

Great App for Monitoring the Economy. The raw data in this app is better than listening to the talking heads on TV. The app has a bunch of great data that updates with the economy. Highly recommended. Five stars.

Decent App. This is a very good app to keep up with major indicators.i only wish that current percentages were given and not only the changes in percentages. It would save me a trip to another website

Real Time. I use an iPod Touch. Need to jump on Wi Fi when I can. Am looking for real time apps, that can update information and let me read that information when loose Wi Fi connection. You can only read the information when you are online. When offline, it give you an error message. New York Times app does an outstanding job in this regard.

Great app. Can't complain. The title of the app says what the app will do. Sounds duh but not too many apps do what you expect them to do. This app has helped me win arguments with people who relied on emotion to make points instead of FACTS

Geo. Really like app since it provides so much information at your finger tips - good job. Suggest you list who controlled Congress rather than President since it is primarily Congress who dominates budget spending. Would also like actual numbers on left scale rather than max and min. Would be nice to have option of selecting specific year ranges to focus on e.g. 1960 to 1980.

Crashing on iPad. I love data and being able to view data. I would give 5-stars if the App didn’t crash on my iPad. It works on iPhone.

good start. User-friendly and great idea, but lacks depth. The data on the app is surprisingly weak considering the vast amount that is available consistently released. For example, there are only three data points in this app for the housing sector. This not helpful. What about multi-family or even "all housing" stats, price indices, regional data, etc. This is all published at the same time as the three stats listed and is just as easy to access. That said, app is well designed and easy to navigate. Only other complaint is the lack of a scale on the y-axis of graphs.

just what I had been searching for. Very nice app that provides a convenient access to economic data. Definitely worth the price. I hope they continue to add improvements, such as more data perhaps worldwide data. Graphs could be tweaked a bit. No real complaints though.

Modest, ok, but recently hacked. Summarises various U.S. gov dept. statistics in a handy fashion, but offers limited ability to vary the data for independent analysis. e. g. The ability to compare economic indicators against one another would be marvelous. Recently, the app began to list the U.S. labor statistics of employment in terms of "isreli new shekels" , which is nonsense. The values should be in number of jobs. Mischief is at work.

Great source at your finger tips where ever you are. This a great source of data readily available where ever your iPhone goes. Great upgrades with graphical data transformations, state data, and recent additions of personal n disposable income. Very nice to compare data sets to test theories that might come to mind.

I love this app.. I think this is a very important app to have in these troubled times. I just wish it had an email button so I don't have to keep reading out the info to my Mom and my Uncle and the rest of my family without an iphone.

Evaluation. Great information all in one place. Easy and intuitive to use. The overlay of political party is a unique and useful feature I find useful. Would be nice to add features for business applications and MBA students such as the ability to email the data. Has much potential! Len S

Great Ecomony App. This App has multiple applications to various users such as: business owners, investors, retirees, and college students just to name a few. It is one of best Apps in iTunes because it has good and predictive information. Others Apps are plain useless and worthless. Not this one !!!!

Great Quick Source of Economic Data. I use this app a lot! It gives a quick view of important economic indicators and data without searching pages of sites. Don't need all the details - just trends where we're heading.

How's the Country and your State doing?. This APP is very informative. It's important to watch how the country and the states is doing, economically. especially the deficit! Good information. Worth the $1.99. As the new stats come out, the APP upgrades itself.

A source you can base decisions on. I use this all the time to supplement investing, current affairs, and business planning. Provides primary source info that I use regularly to make decisions.

Need View by House of Representatives. Nice app, but can be a little misleading for some statistics if viewed by party in control of presidency. Need a view to show which party held the House of Representatives ... a more reliable causal relationship for certain economic statistics.

Amazing! Probably the most useful app avaialble!. One stop shop economy! This is a tremendous app! What a great collection of all relevant data on the economy all in a one stop shop app! The interface is terrific, so easy to use with simply push-buttons and wonderful data-representation, interactive charts that help make sense of the trends. Great visuals and interactive 'views'. I only wish this type of app was available as a 'computer' app so I could easily access all the data and charts to more easily disseminate the 'story'. Perhaps I just need to learn how to 'capture' the screen. Anyway, if you are in any way involved with understanding economic trends, this app provides all relevant government economic data all in a single app. It's easy to use and simplifies all the searching from 'disparate' government sources and websites, let alone alleviating the challenge to 'access' the data to then have to make charts on your own. No more! This app solves the agony of analysis paralysis by data-retrieval to immediate data understanding, sourced and up to date. Get this app if you want to know what's going on in the economy!

No Complaints. This app is surprisingly useful. The data is very up to date and critical for this interested in economics or the markets in general. The layout is very easy to understand. The only suggestion I would have is to improve the info when describing what each index means. Many do not even have a description. Great app nonetheless.

App not written by a user of economic data. While the idea for this app is good, I was very disappointed. It seems that the developers had no input from an economist or business person familiar with how economic variables are reported and used. For example, showing GDP in levels is not as useful as showing quarter-over-quarter or year-over-year growth. It would be nice if you could specify various types of growth rates for the chart. Also, GDP for the second quarter states that it grew 0.2% over the first quarter. True, but that is not the conventional way GDP is reported. It should be q/q annualized growth. Hopefully the developers will address these shortcomings in future versions. I would recommend waiting. As it is currently written it is of limited use.

Quick and informative. I really wish I had this app while I was studying economics at university. There is a wealth of information and it is has an excellent layout.

Good. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 is because it needs to be more user friendly in terms of sorting options. They need a calendar that shows when new reports are being released. They also née to show what the expectations were for each report. It also need to update faster. I noticed that a lot of times a report is published and this app is slow in updating. It is helpful in containing all of the Econ reports. So if you know what you are looking for it's great.

Was good, has not been updated in 5 years and is. No longer functioning. I used to like it unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore

Home Price/Value. I would like to see the adverage yearly home price/value adjusted for inflation. I think this is a better indacator for the housing market. I would also like to see local and state information added.

Not worth it!!!. Good luck to anyone trying to get this app to work. Downloaded it 4 days ago and only able to view one report. All other times a message displayed advising the server had timed out. Very disappointed!!!!!!

Fun and easy to app!. Awesome app, a must for anyone hoping to keep a finger on the economic pulse. There are many up-to-date indicators to browse and chart, all refreshed with reliable data from the fed reserve. Especially educational to see the historical trends, which can be plotted. Do make sure to scroll down the charts to explore various graphing options.

Good. How about adding shading for Democrate and Republican held CONGRESS, since they are the ones in control of the votes, and is much more accurate representation of political influence on economic results. President only can sign or veto what is presented to him.
