This app does a decent scan but as is it really works great for before and after installs or changes to tune. It will give a before and after hp 60' 1/8m and 1/4m times with speed too. All sorts of cool gauge packs available too. I bought along time ago to be a general scan tool but my current use is for tuning on my turbo BMW, I had no idea before purchasing I would be using to check performance upgrades on my personal car, but I sure am stoked with it's vast usefulness and info. If you tune your car or truck and don't have this app your missing out on real info...
Really like all the telemetry stats, very informative! On occasion, it will time out and I have to restart the app. I would like to see GPS tracking added to measure road trips to get fuel efficiency.
I have a Modified 2007 Ford Mustang and this app has it all. Covers all engine and performance readouts. Abt the best auto app i have used. Thanks!
Great app until recently. However, since purchased by Autometer there seems to be no more support for it. Auto meter now another app with a different name but exact same interfaces that you must purchase their specific expensive OBDii interface to use.
I've spent 20 minutes attempting to get it to connect and it connected once but the data was not updated. I feel like I wasted $9.99.
Well I downloaded this app but it won't connect to elm 327 no wifi or Bluetooth connection don't bother or waste your time or money on upgrades.
I still have a lot of playing around to do with it, but I like what I've seen so far. I'm sure when I finally get around to reading the manual, a lot of my questions will be answered.
This is an old app. Needs update. No definitions for autos since 2014. Doesn't reset codes on my 2015. Recommend NO BUY.
Many others have explained why this app is worth buying. I'm writing to contradict two negative reviews. One said you can't get back to the main menu after activating a dashboard without shutting down the app and restarting it. Not so. Just tough the screen for two seconds and a menu will appear that allows you to return to the main screen. Second, someone said it doesn't work with vehicles after 2014. Also not true. Works fine with our 2016 Subaru Forester. The database that comes with the app doesn't include vehicles newer than 2014, but you can manually input model information and parameters for any newer vehicle. One minor quibble: the gauges on a couple of the dashboards are too small to be legible on an iPhone 6, but you can access the same information in other ways. A fine app. Works flawlessly with Amazon's recommended Foseal OBD II WiFi dongle.
I love all the information you can get from the app. My suggestion is to make it easier to tell which PIDs will actually display for your car.
I can connect my phone to the ODB II interface, but the app doesn't connect. Waste of $10.
This is a fairly intuitive app to use and it has worked reliably with the OBD2 dongle I bought on eBay.
This is a great app, and for $10, as long as you acquire the appropriate OBD2 output device, gives all the information anyone could ask for. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is a car guru, do-it-yourself person, or anyone who simply wants to see all their car's information for recreational or diagnostic purposes.
Great tool and easy to use. This will save you from dishonest mechanics.
I'm writing this to hopefully make the authors aware of the issues with this app. While it's fully functional, it doesn't render properly on a tablet. Specifically my iPad Pro 9.7" Also, Why aren't vehicle lists updated?? The NEWEST anyone can go is 2014 - yet the app has had "updates" for more device compatibility. How about more vehicle coverage? I expect a lot more support coming from an app that I have to f***ing pay for, you know what I mean?? Adding and deleting gauges isn't very intuitive, neither is going back to the main screen. A lot of values that one of my vehicles support but this software refuses to read is what gear my transmission is in even though with the same adapter and different software, it can see just that and more (that other software was free but ad-supported and will no9t be named here) So are we going to get updates or what? I rated this low because it's still missing some key elements that would otherwise make this software great!
This is the worst App ever developed!!! Would not hook up to the ob2 device had TS online they couldn't get it to hook up and just try to get the department that handles refunds it's a laugh!!!! Apples just as bad they don't stand behind any of their vendors or themselves for that matter, if you've ever dealt with Amazon all other company's are a joke!!! Except maybe Nordstroms!!!!!
App doesn't work with my 2016 Honda Pilot or my 2017 Honda CRV. When adding a new car the newest to select is 2014. Would be nice if they kept the app up to date!
Very informative and easy to use!
Got this due to the Bavarian community but has worked in all my other vehicles as well! I use cheap wifi obd2 for a few years now with no issues!
