Firefighter paramedic. I must say this program is extremely helpful. There have been several occasions when I have needed a quick reference and this program far exceeds my needs. I know that OC's tx guidlines are different than LA's, but it is nice to be able to review and stay sharp with my drugs and doses.

Awesome. Fantastic app!! Everything I could need or want right on hand. The list of hospitals with base numbers is worth it's weight in gold. Please keep supporting this program!

Good reference. Good reference/ study material. Needs updating but its still a keeper.

DO NOT BUY!!!. Don’t bother downloading this app. Half the content is being held hostage now for a monthly subscription fee!! I paid for the app a while back and now it’s not enough. This wasn’t a cheap or free app either. I’ll be looking for another app. DELETE!!

Non Traumatic Hypotension. Love this App. Us it for reference all the time. After last update NonTraumatic Hypotension reverted back to using Dopamine not Push Dose Epi. Just need to update to the 2017 Medical protocol.

Uh, You want me to pay again?. I agree with others that locking out most of the features, then charging a monthly fee to unlock them is kinda bogus when we already paid for the app. Anyone who already paid full price should either have full access or be refunded immediately.

Poor customer service. Worked OK until I upgraded to new monthly subscription. App gives an ERROR message when opening any meds or protocols.

This App has a bug!!. Everytime I open the App it checks for updates then shuts down. I wasted$4 on this and it is deffinitely bugged.

Doesn’t work. Half the numbers for base are wrong, blank protocols when you click on them. Used to be great, waste of money now.

Lame. Hardly worth the purchase price back in the day. Definitely not worth a subscription. Furthermore, not willing to support the way the subscription necessity was rolled out/forced on all those that previously the app.

Need to Update Info. Great app, 90% accurate I’d say. Need to update your hospital information, because there’s quite a bit wrong with the information provided about each hospital in LA County (ex: App says, “Pomona Valley is a PMC.” Pomona Valley is definitely not a PMC lol.) Lots of small things to fix, but overall a good app to study.

Awesome. Great program for either the student learning meds or while on shift. It would have that 5th star if the algorythms were american heart assoc. Best medic program out

Amazing app...when it doesn't crash!. This application would be AMAZING if it didn't crash. Using the latest version on iOS 4.1 and the only sections it won't crash for are the LADHS policy section, hospital locator and LA County drug section. Everything else causes this program to crash. For $5.00 (expensive as far as apps are concerned), this is unacceptable. Fix the crashing!

Are you kidding me? This is awsome!. I'm a critical care transport RN /NREMT-Paramedic and this couldn't be any easier, or sweeter to use. The updated version is not using my GPS to locate local hospitals for some reason. Im sure this will get worked out... Bedsides I can find my way to the hospital. But the nuts and bolts of this work great and is a great help. Would highly recommend...keep up the great work.

All pages are blank.. Iphone 8 running IOS 13.3 and all of the pages are blank. The app opens, but there is no info. Used to be a great app. Needs to be fixed, especially at that price point.

Wow a functional appfor medics finally!!!!. Thank you! This app is long over due and sorely needed. Suggestions: could you add a way to mark or tag the home meds as they are searched so they could then be viewed as a list? This would be great for keeping track of a patients med list. Keep the drug class with the med on the list. Thanks again for a very useful app!!!

New update. Thanks for improving the program to work with apples new products. One problem though, I can't pinch to zoom on protocols, policies, and drugs.

Excellent app, but……. I purchased this app when I first became a medic, since it’s LA County specific. To that end, it’s phenomenal, and an invaluable resource! However, it’s a bit disappointing that I’m suddenly told I have to subscribe for a monthly fee. I can’t recall ever seeing a notice that the subscription charge was going to be coming in however many months or weeks. Disappointing to say the least. Might still recommend, but pretty tempted to to tell new medics to pass on it.

Paid for, now trying to charge more. You can’t charge for an app then change it to subscription based and demand people pay to keep it functional. You are obligated to refund those who paid for it up front or at a minimum, maintain its original functionality. Pretty shady move on your part.

Paramedic. This app is exactly what I have been looking for! I only wish it elaborated more in the home meds section.

I already paid!. I bought the app a few years ago, and now it’s asking for a monthly fee. I’d donate if the option was there, since I know of the costs and time associated with such a product, but charging people after they already paid is kind of rough.....

Subscription service against TOS. Paid full price for this years ago and now features have been taken away with subscription service. It’s not the price, it’s the principle. ***If you’re on iOS15, scroll down and click “Report a Problem”. This practice is not tolerated under Apple’s Terms and Conditions.

Hospitals. I dig the new gps hospital capabilities! It would be even better if below them initially it stated trauma, stemi, edap etc. Easy add right... Thanks.

Looks great. Have not used this app in the field yet but looking over it, it has a lot of great information and will be a valuable tool for any emergency worker whether paramedic in the field or anyone who works in an ED. Great value at only $3. Thanks

Great app. Firstly: excellent app. It seems to be getting updated with the most recent LA EMSA protocols, etc. and it is a great reference versus going to the website or pulling out the paramedic school protocol book. ...but if we already purchased it, do we also have to buy the subscription now? I bought this like 2 years ago or something, now I’m being asked to also buy a subscription. And don’t get me wrong, 99 cents isn’t murder, pocket prep went from a $30/lifetime to $90/year, so there’s worse things...lol but do we have to buy the app AND a subscription?

Excellent!. What a great surprise. Totally shocked that this was made available. Kudos to whomever got it going. I hope you make some bucks. This is a perfect study tool for the trainee learning drugs and policies in LA County.

No data. This app is horrible. Nothing loads. It only says no data, coming soon. I've contacted the developer many times and received no response. I've deleted and reloaded and nothing. Don't waste your $$

La Medic. Hey Rickey,, great program but why not make it compatible with the ipod touch also. i purchased it not realizing it's only for the iphone. can i get my money back. good job your class mate

Not working at all. This app used to work pretty well but not anymore. Now when you open any of the links in the app regarding any policy or protocol you get a blank screen. Same goes for all my coworkers who have the app. I emailed the developer but never heard back.

Paid for app, then change to pay to play. Well played Capt. Do you teach your rookies at Arcadia Fire Department the same shady tactics you used to lie to your customers? I understand you changed your concept but for those of us that paid since inception, you could have grandfathered us in. You are a captain, you should know better than this.

Very Useful APP for all Medics or Medic students. No matter what you do as a Paramedic this app will serve you , every prehospital or emergency drug is in it , and the information about each drug goes beyond what any department's protocol book goes . The only thing I would wish to be changed is the Home Med part more information .Because many times the Meds we find on our patient can totally change our treatment plan.I currently use top 200 drugs as a med reference

Needs Updates. Paying for an app that isn’t up to date. Ref 1302 specifically still mentions King Airway. LACo no longer uses King Airways, and have moved over to iGels. The updated policy states the use of an SGA or ET, no mention of King.

L.A.s Finest!. This app is ESSENTIAL for any Paramedic or EMT in L.A! As important as any training or safety device. Takes all guesswork out of EVERY aspect of field prehospital care in L.A. County. This app can actually make you a better care provider and operate more efficiently. I used this app onmy iPod touch and loved it. I used it on calls, after calls, and during CE. The iPad version will be even better now. This app is the wave of the future and a must have. I never leave the station or get off the Engine without it!

Great app. I'm in florida and I still like this app. NREMT drugs are worth the price alone.

Money. I paid when I first got hired as an EMT and enjoyed the app., it helped out a lot, until they decided to turn their backs on their customers. I paid for the one time payment so I didn’t need to worry about it again and they took that from me, wanting me to subscribe to their services. Don’t do it.

Very useful program. Very well written and laid out program. Very useful in my day to day life.

IT WAS A GREAT APP. TO THE DEVELOPERS: IF THIS APP GETS ENOUGH BAD RATINGS IT CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE APP STORE. FOOD FOR THOUGHT. I PAID A ONE TIME FEE SOMETHING LIKE 15. NOW THEY ARE CHARGING A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. LIKE MANY OF US WE USE THIS APP FOR OUR JOBS.

Disappointed. Like others have said. I bought the app when it was a one time fee. Now it’s a monthly subscription and most of the content is locked unless I opt into a monthly subscription. I used to recommend this app to other paramedics, I will not recommend this app anymore.

Greed over honor and service. This app took the same scam path so many other apps have, they get you to buy their app only to shamelessly switching to a subscription basis. The developer literally gave everyone who supported this app the middle finger. Like the dog who bit the hand the fed him. Because the app got to where it is today through the support of everyone who bought the app. I don’t know about everyone else, but I worked for the money I used to pay for the app. Hey, how about giving our money back to all of us who bought the app?

Great App. This app is an excellent quick reference guide when it comes to pharmacology. The treatment protocols and policies was a great addition! This app is a must have for any LA County paramedic!

Paid for this app then go got blindsided. Do not buy this app the developer is a money hungry crook. I paid for this app when I downloaded it (a one time fee) then got blindsided with a monthly subscription or I can’t use the app I paid for anymore! I will not support these type of dishonest business and weasel tactics. SMH

Great app.. Great program, I have used it many times just to double check myself and to reference the home meds. Easy to use just enough info to help out, love the updated SFTP's and hsp info.

Half A**. Program crashes constantly. Protocols do not have complete information and some have NO information... "coming soon" is BS. Not worth the money.
