Annoying pop up text. I’ve been using this app for quite a long while and very happy with it but…this pop up text now appears every time I’m making an entry into the calendar. Tech support isn’t available unless personal info is provided first which I suspect will compromise my security. “ERROR” The client provided is not authorized to access the request.

My favorite list app. I’ve tried them all!. This app has everything I need for organizing my life. I love the interface and the fact I can add notes directly from Chrome on my iPhone. I used this app for years and only stopped when they got rid of the bulk of their (non-emoji) icons. It seems like a small thing, but I’m such a visual person that it made that much of a difference. Emoji icons do not grab my attention since I see them in so many other places. My brain just won’t associate them with organization. For 2 years I tried every other list app out there and I still came back to this one in the end. I’ll deal with limited icons (but please add more!) aNote is just the best.

So beautiful. There are no note or journaling or organizer apps more beautiful than this one. I’ve used this for years and haven’t found a more perfect, lovely, or more satisfyingly efficient journaling/notes organizer. Love the ability to color-code, the ability to use photos or text or checklists or voice notes, having a folder or set of folders for each separate area… special photos, addresses, ideas, journal entries, task lists… everything your mind is preoccupied with, put it here. Special memories you want to return to, here is a beautiful home for them. Once you’ve found this app, no other organizer will measure up.

LOST ALL MY INFO. These app developers are atrocious. I had the original app for years with nearly 100 notes in it. I had since stopped using the app as my “daily driver” but referenced that info in that app regularly. One day, the app stopped opening and wasn’t supported in the US anymore...what?? Then one day the app disappeared entirely. I’ve reached out to the developers multiple times about retrieving my information and got NO response. I just saw a new version released. Overjoyed, I quickly downloaded to find it completely barren. I’ve used iCloud to religiously sync all data always, I’ve never lost anything. But this app lost all my notes. I tried the advanced setting to restore from a backup and nothing. I could not have a worse experience and recommend staying far far away from this app if you value your information.

Needs updates. Great app - I’ve been using for years. I would like to see the addition of the alphabet on the right or left of the list screens to quickly jump to a note instead of constantly scrolling to find it. This feature is in most other apps where you have long alphabetical lists. The syncing has thrown me off a few times (Google). Every one of my notes was somehow duplicated and I had hours of cleanup.

Great app!. This really Is a very good app for notes, todos, diaries, etc. My only concern now is that it appears to be no longer supported by the developer. It has been two years since last update. I have a lot invested in this app and my fear is it will stop working one day soon. Does anyone know if it will be supported going forward? I have not received any response from the developer.

Great App!. When Dayone updated and switched to its subscription service, I started looking for a new journaling app. I tried a lot of them with a lot of disappointment. In walks Awesome Note 2. After I downloaded it, I fussed at myself for not doing it sooner. It has better features than Dayone IMO, syncs using iCloud, and doesn't limit me to anything. (No, it does not have a Mac app but with the iPad getting better and better, I find myself using my Mac a lot less these days.) It allows me to add locations, sketches, and tags to my entries. PLUS, I am using it as a note taking app as well and its task management features make this an A+ app for me. It works very well and has become one of my most used apps. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Password reset is not working for years now!!!. One of Awesome Note’s features is a passport-protected folders. I have forgotten the password and the app offers me to reset my password using an email I had specified in the app. However, I never receive the reset email, and it is not in the spam folder. What is worse is that no backup nor synchronization is possible without the forgotten password. I have contacted you many times without a reply. And this has been going on for YEARS NOW!!! If the app is not able to do such basic task, then it lacks the most basic standards of reliability and a miserable customer service. Admit to the customers that you are unable to solve this problem instead of making them delete and reinstall the app, hence losing all the data. Fix this, or give the customers their money back and compensate them for the data they lost.

BEST APP. This app has everything you could possibly want for productivity. Works easily with Evernote, etc. it transcribes your lectures and records perfectly. Organizes ideally. Respects privacy. I don’t have time to list all the attributes, but I have discovered over time and trying many apps, that this is definitely a number 1 choice. Also they keep up with the new phones and new OS. Thank you guys!

I always come back to this... Developers, please keep updating this app. Nothing else works like this one. It's a perfect combination of calendar, note taking, to do app. I have tried extensive list of different apps but nothing is as simple, beautiful and at the same time feature-laden like this one. I just wish this is regularly supported/ updated.

Love this app! But.... This is one of my main “go to” apps. I love the fact that I can make different folders, customize how they look, and keep track of all sorts of information. For instance, if I have an idea in June for a Christmas gift for Jennifer, I can put it into my “Jennifer” note in the gift ideas folder. Come Christmas, shopping lists are already done. Husband needs stitches and they want to know the last time he had a tetanus shot? Check the “Health” folder. Hear about a good book that you would like to read? Add it to the “Books to Buy“ list. My only complaint just popped up recently. On the home screen, there used to be a spot at the top of the page for the last four notes that were used. You could easily grab a note from there, rather than having to go to the folder, then search for the note or use the spotlight search. Now, the “Recents” space is still there, but there are no notes. There is only the word “bookmarks”. I haven’t found a solution to this by looking at the FAQs or toying around with the app. I also haven’t found a place to ask the developer a question about it, so am posting it in this review. :-) Once again, I can’t say how much I love this app!

Love it for iPhone but needs an app for Mac that synchs. I really like the app for quick notes and to do list on my phone and definitely recommend it for that. But I would really like it to sync to an app right on my Mac. I often have longer things to type out and it’s easier to do on a Mac than on an iPhone keyboard. Yes it backs up to Evernote but I don’t want to pay for Evernote. If awesome note did a Mac app this would definitely be a five star app

Design Suggestion. I love your app. I have used it pretty much since you created it. So good job. Especially in not selling out or selling info. I just have one request. Could you please allow the option of having a Home Screen (the one with the folders on it) that lets you have a scalable option for the small book mark notes above the files. It would be nice to have more of the little display of notes than those ginormous folder icons. I would like the option of shrinking the folders to almost nothing is not getting ride of them. Good, could be better. Was a great app many years ago and still good but I’d like to see it keep up with the times better. Sync between iPhone and iPad is very slow compared to a number of apps on my phone which sync instantaneously. Something about the folder system or the UI looks and feels outdated. This was a very creative app for its time when it came out but that was many years ago...Id like to see it keep its ‘homey’ feel but gain more powerful features and seamless sync. I do recommend giving it a try though; it’s a wonderful idea.

Best Note Taking App Hands Down. I love this app. I’ve been using it for ten years and it has become one of my top five I use on a regular basis. What I appreciate the most about this app is that throughout the years, the developer has done little to change it, keeping it consistent and reliable for folks who want a good working product from the get-go.

Fantastic! Does not compare to others. As many others, I have used this app for 8 years and other 10+. I only ask that the developer considers selling the app to someone who would like to continue with updates. **I fear this app will soon be obsolete. There have been a few times I’ve had to close and go back into the app for the full page/options to appear. Developer did note few years ago of not planning to update** I highly recommend everyone start trying similar apps and transferring info!! It may not survive the next major iOS update.

Awesome. I love this app… Using it is like sitting at a nice desk with beautiful office supplies (pretty folders and nice fonts) that are well-organized and easy to deal with. It’s easy to navigate this app - it is intuitive and offers just what I need. Opening it always makes me happy! Note: The app’s creators are responsive and hands-on. They have communicated with me directly when I’ve had questions and they are committed to maintenance and updates. (I do not ‘know’ them or have any affiliation with this - I found it while searching for a Note app.) Highly Recommend.

Just a few tweaks could really make this amazing. If there are just two things that I could change about this app (apart from the calendar section) I’d make just one more level of sub folder. Each folder color subdivider should be able to divide down one more when you open it. I’d also really love this app the the backgrounds were more clean and minimal. Other than that it’s VERY like able and useful

Most Functional yet. There are few apps I take the time to write about but Awesome Note is the exception. A lot of thought went into this interface and personally it's more effective than using Fantastical, Agenda, and Timepage put together. If you get in and really use it, think about how to integrate the features into work, home, and personal, you'll see every part is well thought out. The detail of customizations aren't obvious at first, which enables the app to be used in a simple way. Other apps are so intricate in the detail, it can get overwhelming. There are two recommendations I have. One is following the user guide in Help section. In particular, the way it's suggested when setting up folders and content within folders. It makes the learning curve so much easier. The second recommendation is to the developers. I can't believe I'm saying this but the app folders are dated already and need an updated look. No one uses file folders anymore - listen to this b/c I'm 54 and I am dated! Give the app a fair shot. It may not be developed by Moleskin but it's a keeper.

so much potential but we never get updates!!!. I love this app and it has so much potential. However, there is only an update about once a year. (10 months ago was the last update). There are bugs and it does not sync the folders well on either evernote or icloud sync. I love how you can have different folders, each folder has a calendar, and you can mix all the calendars together on one calendar or see the calendars separately based on the folder. This. Is. Brilliant!!! I just wish they would update the app to make the sync between ipad and iphone work and make the folders more accessible like adding a search for folder by name function. This app has the potential to be the best calendar/to-do app in the app store by far, but that would take some long overdue updates and fixes.

Liking this app again. I’m starting to like this app again. I started using it upon its conception and fell in love with it, but the updates were to slow. Now the updates are more frequent. The new update for iPhoneX, huge improvement. Being able to use my own wallpapers have improved considerably. Overall I’m liking the continuous improvements over the last year. I’ve updated from 1 star to 5.

Bug needs fixing. I have used this app everyday for over 6 years. It’s has been a great organizational tool. I would give it 5 stars except for a recent bug that makes it appear that I have an additional to do item, when in reality I do not. I’ve tried everything I could to trouble shoot (turn off phone, double check all my to dos and delete completed to-dos) but nothing seems to work. This is a very small problem, but it is driving me a little crazy to always have something “left” on my to do list, even though there isn’t anything there. I tried to find ways to contact the company, but I can’t find anything. So I’m writing this review in hopes to get some tech support and/or someone to help fix this bug. I will change this review once that happens. Promise.

Navigation Issue. This is a great app, however, there’s an issue with the navigation on an iPhone 6 Plus. If the phone goes to sleep while a note is being displayed, the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen becomes unavailable when the app is re-accessed. In that state it is impossible to display anything but the last note displayed. The only way to restore app functionality is to reboot the phone. Not sure if the same behavior occurs if the note is not in read-only mode. Most of my close to 2K are.

Amazing, but a few problems. Hi, I have had this app since October. I really loved it and it was a great way to keep track of my time. When I just upgraded my reminder app and added 2 more lists of reminders, a-Note didn’t let me add any reminders to the calendar and also deleted all of my reminders that I had ever had. I tried deleting the app and re downloading, but the same thing happened; it wouldn’t let me add any reminders. I also tried deleting most of my reminder list but it still wouldn’t let me. I have tried everything! The app is still great though.

Great app. But z ero support. I’ve used this app for many years. For everything. However, since my phone can not use iCloud, I can’t get it transferred to my private iPhone. Email to BRID is like hitting the wall. My work IT manager wrote to them as well. They never reply. Old notes transferred via iCloud often show up in random order, completely messed up or duplicate. Just lately, I can’t every copy and past the content to anywhere. When I paste, it came up blank. I love the app and got so used to it. I have not found something as simple as good as this one. Very sad! I would rate it 5 if it could provide more support.

Losing your 5 stars!. I’ve been using and loving anote for years, since it first came available. The app started crashing over 3 weeks ago now. It crashes before I can utilize any help menu or FAQ or contact within the app. So, I followed every recommended step and procedure found from the developer and the FAQ on website and nothing worked. I have messaged and emailed the developer numerous times and have received absolutely no contact back. Please help! It is not just my schedule and calendar I can’t access and haven’t been able to use for weeks. My family and I use anote for everything. That is why I love it so and have stuck with it all these years. The length of time without any contact from developer without any help or fix continues to make a very negative impact in my life. I am a parent with a disabling genetic disease that was passed to my child… instead of symptom tracking apps, medication reminder & monitoring apps, voice recording apps(we record doctor appointments, treatment instructions, etc), we use anote for EVERYTHING. It does all of this and more. It is an excellent app, even for such complex lives as ours. Please, please, respond and help.

Excellent app. I downloaded this app a long time ago but just never used it fully until now. It has helped me tremendously in keeping organized. It has so many features that makes it esthetically appealing and stand out among the many note taking apps I’ve tried. I hope the developers continue to update this app. I’m sure there are so many people like myself who have come to rely on it. Thank you for such a wonderful product!

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for, and a huge plus to me that it doesn’t need a subscription. The only thing I wish is the ability to save links. I love saving food recipes that I find and it would be great to be able to save them in one notebook, like a browser bookmark system. Right now I can just copy and paste the link. Other than I love the way it looks, I love how it organizes my life. The only other thing I can think of is it would be great to also have a browser app so that I can add stuff while I’m on my computer at work so I’m not just sitting on my phone changing my calendar around.

7+ years of loving this app...and now.... I made the EPIC mistake of buying the iPad version! I held out for so long because I felt it was unfair to not at least offer a discount to existing paid iPhone app users. But it finally came to a point I had to have it on my iPad and I figured by now all the kinks would have been ironed out. I bought the app, set up iCloud sync and now I’m missing ENTIRE folders of notes. I’m talking years of notes. Gone! I have backups, but I’d created so many new notes before noticing the disappearance, I can’t just opt to restore from my backups without fear of losing the new files. I’ve tried hitting up support via the app and have not received a SINGLE response. So now I’m faced with giving time I really don’t have to purging ALL of my notes and saving them elsewhere just so I can possibly restore and salvage all the lost notes. And THEN see if I can’t get a refund for that destructive iPad app and also possibly find a new more secure notes app. I’m SO disappointed in all this. Long ago, I searched and searched for a great notes app to fit my needs and when I found this app, it was virtually perfect. It had served me so well. I should have just left well enough alone.

Needs some updates. I love this app but I really wish the developer would add widgets and shortcut options. A widget for the ToDo section of this app is the absolute best I’ve seen on any app, but I’d like to see my ToDo list as a widget so I can see it easily on my home screen. And I love this app for journaling, but I wish I could set up some shortcuts to be able to add a memory to my journal section quickly. Please add these features!

As the name implies,. I’ve been using this app for many years now and have found it to be really awesome, very functional, very intuitive and most of all, it works every time. Highly recommended, well worth the money, you will not be disappointed, these guys have been around for a while now and continues to support the App and that’s one of the most important features of any app, “long term support”.

It’s in the name. I first downloaded this app in January of 2010. I loved the clean simple app design, different personalization features, and how easy it was to use. It got much love over the years. Every time I needed to remember something, to save a personal photo, or to write down an on-the-go diary entry, this app was right there, my ride or die. I didn’t realize how much I relied on this app until it was recently accidentally deleted. I switched from a shared family Apple account to my own account, and forgot to bring the app with me. Side note - I found out later that it was an easy fix to import the app. But as someone who’s not tech savvy, I didn’t want to mess with it. Needless to say, I ended up regretting it. Without this app acting as my brain, my life turned into shambles LOL. I did try many many other highly-rated or more popular note apps, but they just weren’t the same. The combo of easy navigation and ultimate customization just wasn’t there. So today I finally re-installed the app, and am working on adding all my info and bringing it up to its former glory. $2.99 to get my life together? You bet! Many things have changed over the years, many other apps have come and gone. But this app is one I will never delete again. Thank You, Awesome Note! ❤️

Awesome Note 2 is Great!. Awesome Note is a great app. The main reason I wanted a different notes app from Apple’s is the ability to search through a note. I have a note that is over 65,000 characters long, and searching is critical for it. The only reason I gave Awesome Note a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars is when you do search for something, the highlighted term is off the top or the bottom of the screen instead of in the middle of the screen. All in all, it’s a great app! Get it!

Best App Hands Down!!. From work to personal life, this app is its own operating system. I love how it integrates the calendar, folders, photos, and notes into one easy to use app. Being able to look at the whole month and see daily details alone makes the app. I have never had a problem going from one phone to another and the notes sync with icloud as well. It is weird and boring to say a note app is my favorite but can’t discount a well thought out app.

Rapidly Drains My Battery.. I have loved this app for over 12 years. I’ve been using it since before I was even a teenager, and now I’m well into adulthood. It is so timelessly clean and gorgeous to look at, has a great user interface, and has a ton of fantastic, extremely useful features. HOWEVER, since I updated my phone to iOS 14, this app has rapidly drained my battery every time I open it up. I can’t access any of my notes (thousands of them) without expecting to lose at least 10% of my battery in a 3-minute span. Every time I open this app now, my phone heats up considerably, and the battery rapidly drains. This is the only app that does this to my phone; every other app works fine. I have a feeling that the problem is that the app is outdated, as I don’t have this issue on an older iPhone, only my current newer one. It has been ages since they updated it, too, and I highly doubt they will return to update it again. I’m crushed that I won’t be able to use this app anymore; this app has been in more than half of my life, and I have loved it so much, with so many of my journaling, experiences, and memories being contained within. Unless they update it and address the issues that newer phones may be having with running this significantly older app, then I will have to find a replacement.

Love it!. This is my FAVE organizing app. I've tried several the last couple of yrs, and this is my choice. The only thing that would just put it over the top would be to sync the calendar w Google. Update*** I don’t know when I wrote the prior review, but it DOES sync my Google calendar. I’ve been using this app for YEARS!!! I have some folders password protected, which is really helpful. I can create or alter folders at anytime. Sometimes I change the color scheme. I can easily add pictures from my photos to documents I create. I’ve deleted old, outdated documents and folders. This app really allows me to grow and change, and it keeps track of whatever I put in it. It’s amazing! I’ve looked at digital planners on Etsy, which are incredible and creative. But I can’t justify buying any of them because this app does everything I need.

Great except when it eats notes. I love the simplicity of being able to quickly create lists or paste notes in from other places. However I am leery of adding critical notes (e.g., medication list, board game collection) because at least twice all the content in a note has vanished (much to my chagrin). The note with title still exists but no content and I don’t see a way to try to restore even though I back up to cloud. Frustrating.

where are my notes?. I was on a multi task mode, on the phone, using this app and retrieving passcodes. Afterwards, I went back to ANote to continue doing my list and suddenly my notes disappeared. What the heck? Tell me how to retrieve my most recent notes, and everything that’s under the note title. This is important to me! And where will I find and get customer support? Is your website dead? If you’re not in business anymore, JUST PUT BACK MY NOTES and this will be the end of my using your app. You were doing great until now that you’ve given me this problem. HELP!!!

Worth it, just one thing, and it is small.... So, I just downloaded this app a few days ago and I am very pleased with the app thus far. Purchased the iPad version as do I could use both my devices and sync them together. And so far- this is worth the couple of dollars. And I’ve purchased a couple different apps like this now. However, can I make a suggestion? In the settings of the app where I can change the background and stuff- I would like to see an option where I can change the font color, or the display color in other words... and the font color while entering the data for the calendar, to do, diary- etc.. I changed my back ground and due to the white letters displayed, I can not see them very well. The back ground is not white, but like a cream color and the letters/font color blend in almost seamlessly....😞 I will update my review if there is an update with this option added as a feature... but other wise, keep up the amazing work!

Love it. This is a great app and I use it on a daily basis. You can create multiple folders to help organize, which I love. You can add as many note pages as you want within the folder. For example, I have a nursing folder and within that folder I have different pages labelled "lab values" or "pediatric vitals" etc. You can even lock the app and lock individual folders! My only complaint is that you can only use ONE password. I would like a different password for the app and a different password for my diary folder. *EDIT This app has not been updated in over three years and it is starting to crash. I have over ten years of notes on this app. PLEASE update this app so we all can continue to use it! By the next IOS update, this app will be obsolete!

Nice app but needs some fixes. I have been using this app for about 7 years. I use it daily. It is nice & clean but needs some basic things fixed. The updates don’t seem to be anything meaningful. They just seem to keep it working on the latest IOS version. Chief complaints: Basic Formatting of text in notes are not supported to the degree in Evernote’s native app. Hyperlinks is my biggest complaint. This is a basic feature of most any note taking app. PLEASE fix this. If I create a hyperlink in Evernote where the URL is embedded & shown with meaningful text, then go to this app, it only shows the text & the URL is lost if you sync any further edits in this app. When you venture off the basic features, seems to crash frequently. Using search & clicking on a tag, then viewing notes with that tag I frequently have app crash. Wish you could do some basic image editing within the app. Frequent add an image by taking a picture after clicking the paper clip, from there it would be nice to crop, annotate, markup image before it is inserted into note. I really like the app, but as I require more advanced features that Evernote is starting to support, I’m getting closer to just moving to Evernote’s native app for a more consistent experience.

4 years Going Strong!. I love the versatility of this notes app!! It’s an attractive, fun place to store reference notes, photos, events. I can choose what kind of note - diary, reminder, thumbnail, to-do, list or photo. I can create and customize folders to put them in. It has a built-in calendar view. I can lock specific folders. I allows reminder alerts so I can track special occasions like bdays and view them in the integrated calendar. Seamlessly works to import or export to iOS notes. Easy to print! The only area needing more is the writing tools to create custom artistic notes. It needs more colors & tools such as shapes & stickers.

Due for an update. I have had this App for years now, probably since 2015. I had tried multiple other diary/ journal App but I always come back to Awesome Notes for its customizable features. However, this App is due for an update for sure. I wish this App would allow us to use our own background in the notes instead of the preset ones as well as more fonts available to choose from. Ideally, a bit more formatting options as well. These features are what is truly lacking out there with a lot of the journal apps. With that being said, I still appreciate all the effort that was put into this app by the developers but I wish they will continue with the updates and upkeep of it. Thanks

Best note taking app and it still stand tall even today. I bought the first Awesome Note years ago. Was that 8 years ago? Yeah, I think so. And when Awesome Notes 2 was released 4 years ago, I did not hesitate and bought both the iPhone and iPad version. It’s beautiful, it has tons of templates to write, it’s colorful. It’s a great calendar app and reminder app. It syncs with iCloud now and that helps keep my notes in sync across devices. I love it. I’m surprise I hadn’t written a review. I thought I did. Anyway here it is. I’m still using Awesome Notes and I have also tried all other alternatives - Bear, Day One, Simple Notes, Evernote, etc etc. and I still come back to Awesome Note every time. Oh, and this app is not even on subscription model. Just pay one time. I’m loving it. And in fact I’m willing to contribute if there’s a tip jar. Just the other day, I was thinking to myself if the dev will update the app for Xs Max which I own now. They have been very quiet. To my surprise, the app was updated today for all the new iPhones. That’s super awesome!! Seriously! Dev, may I suggest you put some of this future enhancement as in-app purchase. I’m willing to support you, man.

Strongly recommended. It has been used for many years. I have tried several calendar apps similar to this app, but I could not be satisfied. Still, there are still no apps to replace this app. That means that this app is good. If you list the strengths of this app, there are too many. It's so colorful that you can not go anywhere from a good design, test notes to voice memos. Among other features, Apple reminders and calendars are visualized and edited simultaneously on a monthly calendar. With this app alone, you can manage all your schedules and notes. The added benefit is that you can create a simple schedule without too much detail. In other words, it is an app that can be lightly accessed without being stressed due to schedule management.

Big groupie here!. No matter what note app shows up at the App Store, I have consistently defaulted to Awesome Note. I mean, I have Evernote and god knows what else; but there is just no substitute for the all-around features and freedom. If this app was compatible with DROPBOX and/or had a macOS version — it would achieve perfection. At present, I backup to Evernote and back up Evernote to Dropbox. A little roundabout... but worth it. iCloud is no good for me because my husband shares my iCloud. Plus; I have heard too many iCloud breach nightmare stories.

Been using this for years!. I literally have thousands of notes over the course of 10 years on this thing. I love the backup they have integrated with Evernote and the easy syncing it has when I switch from MacBook to iPhone and I can pickup where I left off on the go. The amount of colored note tabs, backgrounds, and in-app folder icons to choose from is awesome. Password protect some folders. Search and tag notes. Rate notes and organize with importance. Upload pictures to the notes and freehand quick notes. Have a separator for the notes tabs works excellent when organizing. I use it a lot with sermon notes as well. So if you’re a pastor, this will work great for your workflow. Well worth the money. I never had any issues with the app. This is really an underrated app. BRID has done a great job.

So far so good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I was flaking out about this app. Is it reliable? Does it have the potential to help me? Will it lose my stuff? So far so good. Just like others say, back it up. I backed it up a while ago, deleted the app, then got my stuff back. I think so far it has done a good job of holding out the promise of what it say it’s called — Awesome Note! Fav. I love this app. It’s my favorite calendar app. I even went “shopping” for a different app (because I want more color choices) and could not find anything I liked. I have had this app for YEARS. I was hoping you could have more color choices for the added calendars. The 6 colors there are just isn’t enough for what I need. That is really the only downfall.

Great way to organize life. I love this app. I keep all kinds of lists. I have an elderly mother with many health issues. I have folders for each of her doctors. I can track all her visits, doctors comments, medication lists and inventories, tests, procedures, etc. The color coding and folder icons are really helpful too. Her doctors are usually very impressed with all the information I have but this app makes it easy to keep track and stay organized. My only complaint and I don’t know if it is the app or my phone is that whenever I use it, my battery goes from 100% to 2% in no time.

Great app. I have replaced 3 apps with Awsome note. I used to have a to do list, shopping list and the apple notes application on my first page. Favorite features: Folder and note customisation, setting due dates, Being able to modify notes at any time to move it into a different group or set a due date, Backup to Google Apps. What I would like to see is an option to set a start date/time as well as due date/time. Then it AN will work as a light organiser.

WAS best app on my phone :(. Only the other day I wrote the below review giving my favourite app 5 stars. Unfortunately I have just exported all my notes to Evernote so I could have access to them on my Mac and the Awesome Note app deleted ALL notes (I had about 25 folders...). I have tried importing some notes back however they are not assigned to a folder anymore (plus I have to tick each note individually to import instead of importing all!). Not very awesome anymore :( BEWARE OF "SYNCING"!! _________________________________ My review minus the sync problem: Awesome Note is definitely my favourite app. I use it every single day. I particularly like the great looking graphics and the customisation options. I mainly use this app to keep all my lists (I love lists....) but you can also add images, locations and drawings to entries. No matter what your organisation style, you will find a layout you like - or use them all. I could not be happier with this app, thanks so much for keeping it up to date and for the continual upgrades! Can't wait for social integration ;)

My all time favourite app. When I first bought this I must admit, I only used it to make basic notes and not much else. This may be because I thought of it as the same niche that the default apple Notes app fills. I'm embarrased about that now, because it has some of the most amazing features and best UI of any app I have ever seen. I organize my life in it now. Folders for school keep my assigment days in order, shopping lists, creative ideas. I even started a diary which is password protected and I can include pictures. All so easily. Calendar view is a brilliant and elegant design inclusion. For those who like to organize stuff, or just need a good note-taking app, I cant recommend this higher.

Bug in app keeps clearing the contents of my notes!. Similar to another review on the App Store, I too have also experienced a bug in this app that clears all the contents of notes in this app! I have lost some very important documentation and now I don’t know how to get it back as my phone hasn’t been synced and backed up in years! I have reached out to the support team in-app. I’m hoping there is a solution to this as the note was quite important to me.

THE BEST OF THE BEST YET!. I've been using Awesome for few years now and still counting...! Decided to do my first ever review on App Store since I really needed Awesome to add more fonts in the notes!!! Literally the best note taking, the best to do list, the best calendar view, the best diary, the best organised folders view, and so much more! I love the flexibility of the functions! Being a designer who's really picky on apps, Awesome just WOW me! Which is why I have been using it and have never stopped. It has become a part of my life already like Apple iPhone. Please continue to improve the app UX with more fonts selection and hoping to see customised background for the notes! The customisable background is fabulous! Oh just had to add this, the 'edit text' pop up button is not that user friendly, I find it quite annoying to always go into the box to bold the texts. If it is a floating bar, it will be more useful and easier, more Color Palette please, when selecting a Color on the palette I actually do not have any hint to confirm that the Text Color has been changed (please revise on that too!). Still, thanks Awesome for being Awesome!

Awesome :). Very awesome app :) I love keeping lists for everything and this app suits me just fine!! Its not complicated, u can make it look good, very easy to use (and to find what you wrote again)! One suggestion, with the alarm feature, could you (please!) make a snooze function with time options ie snooze it for an hour, a day, 10 mins etc (just like outlook has). With this feature it would be even more handy! I even have a bills folder to remind me when whats due! Better than other note apps. Get it you'll love it :)

Awesome Awesomeness. AN is absolutely fantastic in my opinion. It's just what I need in terms of a note-taking, to-do, calendar app. It isn't as simplistic as some out there nor overly complex. Those wanting an iPhone version of something like Outlook may need look elsewhere. The calendar in AN simply doesn't have the functionality to track meetings & appointments for the serious business user. But for the average person it's excellent. It has a a scratchpad, folder security, push alerts and heaps more. The interface is pleasing, even tho I don't usually like designs of this type. Better still, the Dev seems to listen to users and releases free updates regularly. Thank u AN for being awesome!

Great app, but..... There's no doubt this is a great app with the best interface. But, if you have lots of notes in another app (like I did with Evernote), be prepared for a long & cumbersome process to get them across. It took me hours & hours to move 130 notes. The problem is, you first have to move them to Google Docs, which isn't as easy as Google makes out as Google Docs has trouble reading certain file types, despite indicating it can do it. Secondly, it is completely impossible to import multiple notes from Google Docs into Awesome Notes & you are left to do it ONE AT A TIME! Even then, you'll get errors. It may well be more the fault of Google Docs than Awesome Notes but I think the Awesome Notes guys need to provide a better import tool.

Combining innovative interfaces with absolute simplicity. Apart from asking for new features, there aren't many things to criticise about this app. The icons make it easy to tell what they are, the search function saves a lot of time searching (if you have an abundance of notes) and the to-do checkboxes are quick and easy to set up. Furthermore, being able to sort your notes into customisable folders is the main feature which blows away the default iPhone Notes app. You can also add pictures as well, which is definitely useful if you need to add any photos for reference.

Please develop for Mac OS!!!. And integrate Email!! Can send email to to-do list!!! That would be a perfect productive app!!

Notes randomly get deleted. Happened several times. Lost important notes. I’m moving to a different app

Disappointed. I have always loved this app but not anymore, I find the bright colours added to the calendar view distracting and not conducive with the folder colours, and the grey notes folder stuck at the bottom ugly. All in all I no longer find it pleasant to use, so am very disappointed.

Freezing issues. The app has developed an issue where it freezes and is therefore useless.

Get Awesome To-Do. Re-Review - Finally we have the introduction of iOS calendar sync, Yay !!!! Now it's definitely one of the best apps of its type. Very useful indeed. Get this awesome app today… ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Old Review - This is largely a glorified notes app on steroids with lots of colour & eye candy. While it does have many other useful functions, it is unfortunately a stand alone application as It doesn't seamlessly integrate with the natural calendar functions of the iphone and ultimately won't sync with my iCal on my my Macbook Pro. It needs this function badly or at the very least to sync with Outlook. Syncing with Google Docs and Evernote is pretty useless to me. This would be the best app of its type, without a doubt, if you had more syncing options. As a result, I'm looking at other apps for my To-Do's & while there are others available that do the other half well, I'm holding out for that elusive, true all in one (or a welcome update!!!) Having said that, Awesome Notes does the memo/notes part better than any app I've seen and is an excellent replacement for the native notes utility on the iPhone

Awesomest Notes. This is hands down, THE BEST NOTES app there is. I have tried many notes applications and none of them are as good as this. It works well, looks great and there are pretty regular updates always adding new features. I really only use this app to organise the copious amounts of thoughts I have into nicely organised folders, something ridiculously difficult to find in other apps, but the features offer a far greater range of functionality. The fact that you can turn a note into a to-do list, it has a calendar view and date view which allows you to create a diary and you can add photos creating a visual diary. And there's a whole lot more which is surprising considering the simplicity and ease of use of the interface. If you aren't sure, try out the free version, it took me less than a day to realise i needed to purchase the full version. If you find yourself taking a lot of notes and needing them organised and displayed beatifully and quickly then this is the app for you.

lost my notes. As a user for over 10 years, I recently found that notes would be lost for no reason, leaving only the title, but all the content within the notes would be gone.

Issue: Error message. I keep getting this error message when creating a new diary page. Error The client provided is not authorised to access the request. OK

Now my Go-To App!!. I bought this App for my iPhone 3 - didn’t really use it. But now with the seamless integration and syncing between iCalendar and Reminders, I finally have an app that lets me see Today’s Calendar, To-Do’s and Reminders - all on the one page. And your overdue Reminders stay in view so they can’t be forgotten. Throw in Siri “Remind me to pay electricity bill on 10 Nov” - this reminder ends up on my Today List for 10 November. Same goes when you ask Siri to make an appointment. Fantastic. This has basically integrated iCalendar, Reminders and a To-Do List into one beautiful App. This is the App I now use multiple times a day. It’s my go-to App for complete organisation. It also has lots of other note-taking features that makes the Apple Notes app defunct, as well as the ability to quickly write a Memo with your finger. Totally awesome app.

More confusing the more I try to use it. This UX of this app is pretty bad and tbh, it's never been great. Here's a few annoying things: To do is constantly alert bubbled since I have things in my calendar, which makes this function pointless. So I have a flight (or did, thx rona) in a few months, I don't need a bubble for that - imminent stuff only! Then there's the anniversary function. It's just bad. You get like one audio alert if you're lucky. Despite having all badges and notifications etc on, there's nothing. Would be the ideal time to put a pip on the app icon or something. Finally, who knows where the documentation is for everything? I've used AN for a good while and mainly because of the backup to Google, which stopped working ages ago so it's time for a change but I don't know where to start to export the data without a manual copy paste. The app is definitely not making life easier these days.

Awesome note is great, but love some improvements. Really need to be able to back up though either icloud or dropbox. I lost my ipad data. Earlier this year and the backups that I had done through my computer were not recognised, so I lost all my data. Tried to update same data through my iphone, but no go either. Luckily I had backed up some data through Evernote. However when I need to restore or 'import' as you call it, I have to tick each item, one by one. I had 1.300 items, so this takes ages. Also when they are backed up, they do. to go into any category, so you have to re-categorise each one manually! Who has time to do that 1.300 times? Can't we just be able to sync all data back to the app in one go to the categories they came from...please? People complain that you don't listen, developers, bit you do plenty of updates, just not the things people ask for or suggest. Please help us by making the updates through the cloud, rather than having to use computer, as I rarely use it, so please give us a choice...please. I have pondered buying the ipad version, but have hesitated because of backup alone.

Overall great, but …. Still no alignment of text after selecting either the tick box or bullet point — looks messy when more than one line of text. AN used to offer the option of a bullet point where the text that followed would be indented keeping it very neat — why not reinstate this feature for the tick box & bullet points? Also, would prefer that the bullet point itself is not indented, it's not necessary, & seems a waste of limited space. Would also like to be able to edit audio files & have fast forward + rewind buttons available (eg 15 + 30 secs options). Aside from the absence of the features that I have described above, I would still recommend AN as it is an otherwise very good & useful app — it just needs some tweaking & some further development of features.

Nearly there. A long time happy user, but would like to see some added functionality. A new feature to move a note (attachments and formats included) from one folder to another would make it truly Awesome!

crashed EVERYTHING. I am not sure what happened but I opened my phone 2 days ago and awsome notes (and other apps) seemed to be mysteriously updated with messages from them to tell my friends etc how awesome the app is. BUT all my personal info and folders (even protected ones) was gone along with ALL info from every other app on my iphone. WHAT Happened? did itunes blunder and if so how do we get all our stuff back, as it is gone off my itunes apps thingies as well? Or did the people at awesome do something horrible - I am at a loss (as is all my app data from about 15 apps.) NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!!

My go-to app, but paid twice for iPhone and iPad. I have enjoyed this version in every way. You can use this app for so many different things, plus sync with other programs is very convenient. But after changing to iPhone 6, the old data doesn't go to the correct category, which is very disappointing. Another thing, I have paid iPad and iPhone separately :( I have contacted the support a year ago but haven't got anything back yet. Another thing is if the app allows syn between same account, it would be good.

Love it but.... Love love love this app, would love it more if it had a bills kind of feature that you can put in bills due as a to do note and input when a part payment is made and then look at them in the future and see how much has been paid to date, also there is no end time/date function in the repeat feature, for perhaps a car loan type thing so that you can see when the final payment is due etc, but I thank you for this app as it has enabled me to get on top of my bills and keep al organised!

Not bad, but could be improved. This is a pretty good application and has now become my default notes/to do application. Firstly the application itself looks great, a bit busy, but overall I quite like the interface. It is failry easy to navigate around (once you get used to it)(. I like the ability to organise my notes into folders and to also add a passcode (if required). What I would like to see is for the To Do section to be ticked off (once complete). At present, if you add a shopping list, you can't tick off an item once you purchase it. It would be great if you could add a tickbox and the item deletes itself once you check the box. It would also be great if you could do some additional formatting in the note itself (ie. italics, bold etc). Whilst you can change the font, it changes the font for the whole note (not just part of the note) Syncing with Google could also be improved. Overall, it is pretty good, but a few tweaks here and there would make it a great application.

Graphic Interface just right. At first I thought I had made a mistake and this app was too graphic for its own good - now I love it - strikes the perfect balance between giving the visual cues I need and still holding all the information in a way that is quickly accessible. My docs/other important info still go into Evernote but Awesome Note provides quick and easy access to small notes that are organised visually. Particularly useful are the four "Quick Memos" that sit there waiting to be filed - the graphics are just right. Highly recommended as a quick, graphically efficient way to store a large array of notes - either as interim storage or on the way to be quickly and efficiently exported to googledocs.

Awesome note taker!. Great design, easy to navigate and syncs with Evernote and or Google Docs seamlessly. It provides many different view options and adding a new note is a snap, especially with the quick memo feature. I use this primarily for notes and images so I don't require the "to do" aspect however the diary view is ideal for a travel diary. I would like to see more colour options for folder but overall am very happy with the app. Looking forward to future updates.

Bugs. I have been using Awesome Note for years and loved the original app, but Awesome Note 2 does not work properly. Even with the lock on notes, my note content gets deleted and can’t be recovered. I’ve had very important and special notes just disappear. I have tried contacting the app developers multiple times in-app, on their website and the App store. I’m very disappointed that no one has ever gotten in contact with me to try to fix the problem, which l have been trying to report for almost a year. The app is virtually unusable now as I’m forever worried anything l put into a note will be deleted. It’s happened at least 6 times now to individual notes and is just unacceptable. Really hoping the developers will look into it please!!

Still My most used App -. Thought I’d update my review from 6 years ago!!! And yes it’s still my most used app! As I was adding something to the list I need from the hardware store before going back to adding to the grocery list., I thought what an extraordinary app and how did I get organised before I had it?? So I then thought it warrants a review from me. I no longer write out a weekly shopping list.. I take my phone in with me and check it as I go. I don't delete the note as I can modify it for the next shopping trip. I have these in photo view then they look like postit notes on the fridge! Appointments I put in the diary or the to do list., plus you can set alarms. Odd jobs I put in the todo list or if it's a "one day I will get around to that" I put it under Bits ...adding to it as I get ideas on tackling the project. I am an organizer fan.. Both paper and computer based.. But have Never found one that ever worked for me... I haven't tackled the sync between it and google docs as I haven't yet required that function - I cut and paste txt into docs or emails instead. I’ve just used it as a researching folder, cutting and pasting stuff from the web for my uni course. Get it!! It's totally customizable which you can adjust as you go until it works just how you want! Big thumbs up :)

Pretty Good, Minor Issues. I've had this app almost since it came out. It's been my note app the whole time. It does its job and has worked, without deleting my notes, over loads and loads of updates. My two gripes are the following: In Awesome Note, whenever an auto-correction appears, there is no way to avoid using it. No matter how many times you re-type the word and press the little "x", it will always use the auto-correction option. Therefore, "main street" can only ever be "Main Street" in Awesome Notes. After so many updates, this is pretty poor. The app opens quickly enough, but there's a long gap between opening and when you are able to type. It sits there as if frozen. This is on my iPhone 5. Sure, I do have a lot of notes, but I'm merely trying to type on one, already opened, note. I'm not asking the app to search through all of my notes or anything when I select it from my already opened apps at the bottom of the screen.

Best App In App Store!. I've used this app nearly every day for the last three years and out of all the apps that I've ever had, this has been the most valuable to my every day. I have experimented with a lot of note taking apps but I'd always be coming back to Awesome Note. It's where I go to take notes of all kinds! To flesh out ideas that I have using any form of graphic, to sorting and storing noteworthy or personal information, even a place to keep recordings of your everyday. It's so amazing to look back at the hundreds of journal entries I have, one aesthetically pleasing slide on top of the other, each containing my writings and pictures from that day, oh and being able to search up key words or dates makes it so easy to jump back into a memory. The layouts are gorgeous, but what makes you love it more is how you set it up to suit yourself. They give you the ingredients and you get to have the fun creating what you make of it. I have hundreds of pictures in all sorts of different notes and folders and it really brings it to life, and you feel good because you put that there. There is so much to do, and I'm always discovering something new that can add to my day. It makes life easy for you, especially a busy one where you want everything in one place. As an artist, and a student, there is so much I appreciate about this app. Thank you

Please update the app. It is getting buggy and useless

Can we please update to have option with start day. Apple recently changed their default day to Monday which visually screwed my schedule up (but has option to change back to Sunday start) As I use Awesome note as my default calendar i need to change back to Sunday Start as well. I cant find an option for this.

Fantastic. The best calendar and organizer. Every thing can be colour coordinated.

So far it’s a pretty good app, would be better if.... 1. Can support/view spreadsheets 2. Can create simple spreadsheet 3. Automatically includes a snapshot when sharing a page from the net, as after awhile things piled-up and it would be usefull if we can see images of what we bookmark from the web (like apple Notes app does)

Great app, just a couple of annoying bugs. A new bug has emerged where the app seems to use a lot of CPU and battery when using it. This causes my phone to get hot and drains the battery quickly. I’ve deleted all the completed items to declutter it but that hasn’t fixed it. Hopefully the developer can find the bug and fix it.

In read only mode. What is going on. All was well now I try and add an event and it’s in read only mode. Help what’s wrong with the calendar all of a sudden??

Very good app. I like this app. Nice presentation and very stable. It has not crash on me once yet. I used to use the note program that come with the iPhone because it load very fast. It would be excellent if this app can load as fast as the native note program because sometimes you need to write things down fast. In this situation I still use the native note app then copy the info across when I have more time later. Please keep the loading time in mind in future development ie don't add more features at the expense of loading time. Overall it is a good stable app with nice features and reasonable loading time.

Non-response. Developer ignoring bug related issues with this app with refusal to respond to emails and in-app help requests. Suggest bring all issues to Apples attention due non-compliance against Apples terms and conditions that are set to Developers to follow. Searching feature is slow and responds slow, high CPU usage just by opening of the app etc. I love this app, craps all over Evernote for what I use it for but the lack of support is extremely inappropriate.

Good Functionality, Could Be Better. Though this is one of the better note taking apps for your iPhone, it's been letting me down when it comes to long lists with checkboxes or long notes in general. Not only is your viewport erratically positioned when you want to add to the bottom of the list or note but after adding to the last line you're taken to somewhere else in the note. On those long lists it's also sometimes also hard to tick a checkbox. Highlighting a couple of lines in a checkbox list to delete them often proves tricky too. When scrolling through such a list when it's very long you're also often taken to a different position within the document. It's all a bit clunky. In comparison to previous versions I had to take a star off in this rating. Furthermore some improvement suggestions for future updates: • add search within a note • add formatting to the notes, such as ability for hierarchical bulleted and numbered lists, text formatting (bold, underline, italics), hyperlinking, multiple fonts per note • optimise the app for the iPhone 6 Plus

iCloud sync doesn't work. This used to work until Google Drive was cut and I had to resort to iCloud. iCloud doesn't sync, it just copies everything everywhere. If you delete anything it waits until you re-open the app and copies it back. If you edit anything it copies the edited version everywhere and then copies the unedited version back again, so you have both versions everywhere. I can't get rid of all the duplicates that iCloud has forced on me and won't let me get rid of. Worse, iCloud has irrevocably changed the format of many notes and changed long lists in text files into check lists, one item per line. The app is now totally screwed for me. I now have a huge task of trying to extract anything useful from the stuff I need to keep. Once I've managed that I will be deleting the app from everywhere I have it. One good point - you can choose to use Google Maps instead of apple maps, which is utterly useless in Australia.

My life would fall to pieces without it. I love it! My boyfriend doesn't understand that lists are nearly as important to me as sleep is. For those of you like me, this is the ideal app! The UI is lovely and I rarely find myself wishing it did something that it doesn't. There are three tiny things that I really wish were included (hence the 4 stars). I would like to be able to manually order my lists, it would be useful for supermarket shopping for example to organise items by their location. Or ordering things to do for the day. I would also love to be able to snooze a task alarm. Lastly, I would love to see a desktop version of this app! But otherwise it is brilliant, I definitely do not regret upgrading to the pro version.

Surprisingly useful and unique. I got the first version of this over 10 years ago and didn’t use it much - it’s only now I’m studying a language that’s not commonly taught in language apps and I need to take and organise lots of notes - flash cards don’t cut it - and this app is a life saver. The functionality to organise and customise is surprisingly useful and I almost wish I could pay the developer another shot for this - because is now one of my most important and useful apps. I’ve not encountered any problems and I searched for ages for other apps to do the same thing - without a subscription - and this is it.

Amazing app. One of the most responsive and reliable apps you can get for iPhone! It took me about two days to master getting around this app, but once you take that time and effort to familiarise yourself with all the functions, it suddenly becomes a very very powerful and efficient tool to have. Very user friendly. The only thing I might have liked to have is the ability to set your own backgrounds or having more options available. Same with the category icons. But this is a very well-thought-out price of software and I love it!

Love love love it!!!. This app truly is awesome! Just what I was looking for! Maybe not the best app for a high flying businessman/woman but just what I needed as an average mum trying to keep everything in order. I love the layout & most of the suggestions in previous reviews have been answered I reckon, like quick notes etc! This is just what I was looking for, the undo button alone is priceless! Esp after using notes and losing all my info so many times! I love this app!

Great, but.... As a stand-alone iPhone app this is one of the best. A great team behind the hard work, thanks for your effort. I just switched to using Things today after having used aNotes for over 6 month. What changes my mind was the lack of desktop software and sync. Also as the developers keep adding new features, unused features are starting to get in the way. I wanted a better focused app, not one that tries to do everything. But still, I really enjoyed the period of using aNotes and big tumbs up for the great work!

My App won’t work. I had been using this App for a long time but now whenever I press the App I just get a blank black or orange screen. Nothing appears even if i wait for ages. I have updated it but it doesn’t help. I haven’t deleted it as I’m scared I will lose my data forever. I am terribly upset as I recorded my daughters first everything’s as a baby in this App and now I can’t access them 😭. Why has this happened and is there anything I can do to get my data back???

Could be great, but .... Fantastic interface. But MANY people will be looking for Google Calendar and Google Tasks synchronization.

Fantastic, BUT: really needs export!. I've used this app for pretty much all my note keeping. It is perfect, and I easily have spent several hours in it each day. My issue with it however is that it COMPLETELY lacks a form of backup capable, that I can export somewhere else, that *isn't* .anote files. Other applications are unable to read .anotes! That makes it annoying to try and back up files, and read them elsewhere, which would be very useful, in case I ever need to check them. Please make some kind of export option to text files or rich text documents, please! I don't wish to use Evernote to export... bleh.

Trouble. Pretty rocky there for a while - and worse with each iPhone update - especially battery drain. On more than one occasion I spent hours looking for something to replace Awesome Note 2. I tried all the top planners, calendars, organizers etc. & much more. Nothing comes close to Awesome Note. I have used it for years now and was so relieved to see it update this week! THANKS!! It has already dropped way down on the battery drain list. At one point I had to move all my notes to iPhone notes. Maybe I can put them back now 😁

Keep it going!. Free and works great so far with my iPhone 14pro Ive been using this app since iphone 4. Its the best. It has the ability to lock certain folders/notes with face ID and hides the notes. Good for passwords and other private info. Nice and neatly organized. Would love to see an export option. Would love an update to full dark mode.

Chronic Problem. While I like this app, every time there's an update it states that "this update is over 20 MB" instructing me to use a PC. So I have twelve updates queued on my iPhone, and seeing this problem is chronic, it renders the "update all" function useless in the app store which angers me every time there's an update. You have to get to a desktop. Why can't this be corrected? It's been going on for over a year!

Best.. This app is absolutely amazing but would just be a bit better if it had an end time with to do lists.

Needs complication on Apple Watch. Please add task list with overdue items showing on the Apple Watch. Apple Watch reminder doesn’t show the overdue tasks. If you can make this happen then there will be so many people wants to download your app.

Love it. I think It is AWESOME! But 3 thing that would make this app awesomer are: subfolders (folders in folders). Notifications like calender ( if that's possible...) and if we could put photos between text rather than always at the end. Love The app otherwise. Totally worth it.

Please keep this app going!!!. This is the only app I keep coming back to. I don’t want to see it going defunct or outdated and it appears it hasn’t been updated in a long time. I’d love to see new functions for new iOS features like widgets etc. There’s still a huge following for this app so don’t let us down!! I’d be absolutely willing to pay a fee to see some upgrades.

The improvements made since I first downloaded has taken it to the next level. What would blow things completely away is if I could use it on my desktop as well. My life organizer. So simple, so flexible, so awesome. I dont think I even use all the features, yet I use this app to run my life - diary, shopping list, to do's, things to do, ideas, checklists. Absolutely must try!!

Great, but..... This is a great app and it's replacing my other note app(s). But when it comes to to-do's, it falls short. = Completed items should disappear or have the option of being hidden from the to-do list as they are checked off as completed. Right now, they have to be manually deleted from the list AFTER they've been checked off. = An alarm or popup should be an option for very important to-dos. = And there should be the option of adding recurring items that are automatically rescheduled for the next occurrence when you complete the first. I think these options are very important for a to-do list and until they appear on aNote, I am keeping my other to-do app.

Crashes constantly. It does not sync well with my other devices. Most of the time it crashes after syncing. It works well as long as you don’t have the app in other devices.

Awesome with One Major Flaw !. It’s an awesome App with one major flaw. I have been using it for many years now but recently I accidentally deleted one of my note that was recorded it for 2019 year. I was not able to retrieve it within this App and do not want to use iCloud to restore as I will lose my current info on my iPhone Info. Please update the App with recycle bin for the ability to restore back the accidentally deleted note, this is the most crucial option required !!!

Great tool but updates often lose notes. I specially love the lock feature of this app. It is easy to use and it is also visually appealing much better than the standard notepad. But the lock feature is not so fool proof as... The updates however have a tendency to "lose" or delete notes from different folders. Not sure where they go but now wary of keeping info such as account numbers and passwords and such as they seem to just disappear. Not happy at all about such info loss.

Been with you from the start. I have been using this app for well over 11 years now, and I am worried it will be removed. This app is worth every penny. It’s amazing as a diary and you can search so easily. Please keep this app alive.

Mind blowingly good.. I've tried a few different note/todo apps, and this app is quite frankly astoundingly well designed. Very simple, but very powerful, and a full out of the box sync through either Evernote or Google docs, both free cloud options to power your sync. Incredibly good, and smooth. It's in a small set of apps that I would give 6 stars if I could.

Mad. I had long ago ANOTE LITE (Awesome Note Lite) with important information inscribed inside. I just realized that I could not open it with IOS 11. So I bought the paid version, AWESOME NOTE 2, at $ 5.49 CDN plus taxes, hoping to open my LITE version documents. But no, not only the LITE version does not open, but the paid version does not recover my documents. And the BRID company that produces the app does not indicate anything on its site and no one knows how to retrieve its information from the LITE version. So I got scammed by the BRID company, with the tacit complicity of APPLE who should remove the paid version of AWESOME NOTE 2 as long as it will not be able to recover the documents from the LITE version, or at least until the LITE version will not be updated. Thank you J'avais depuis longtemps ANOTE LITE (Awesome Note Lite) avec des renseignements importants inscrits à l'intérieur. Je viens de me rendre compte que je ne pouvais plus l'ouvrir avec IOS 11. It’s nice overall, but doesn’t sync properly. The synchronization with Evernote is a major issue here: in importing my notes, it screwed up creation dates for at least a half of them.

Still my 1st choice for notes (for over 8 years). For use on my iPhone, I prefer this over the other top alternatives: - Evernote does not have any colour choices besides green (colours help with organization) - OneNote doesn’t work well without internet connection (slow to open even with LTE connection) As a daily user, I just have one suggestion to help the work flow of the app: - When hitting the “search” button, I would like to be able to immediately type what I am looking for. I search often within this app I am writing this review because I would REALLY like to see this improvement as a daily user for over 8 years.

Truly Awesome. This app is simply the best productivity app I’ve found for myself. I love that the calendar syncs with my phone’s calendar. I love being able to organize my notes into folders, and I love that I can passcode protect some folders. I use this app to keep track of budget items, my work schedule, my kids schedules, gift ideas and lists for birthdays and Christmas, groceries, daily routines, work tasks, even catalogued my MAC eyeshadows. The list is endless. I’ve been suckered into trying other planner apps in the past, sure they’re aesthetically pleasing but most of them are subscriptions AND aren’t nearly as functional as this app for me! Please never stop updating/supporting this app! It’s the best!

Great. Like to see a desktop version. I’ve used this app for years - probably more than 8 years. It’s one of my favourites. I would like to see a desk top version AND/OR an Airdrop sync function.

Great!. Almost perfect! Been using Awesome Note for a few months and been very satisfied. Well worth the price! Even better since the last update. Only thing it needs is to be able to give you pop up notifications and reminders. As it is, you have to open the app to see see that tasks are due and then you'll see the notification sign on the app's icon when not in use. If they can add this feature it'll absolutley be 5 out of 5 stars! As of now I'd give it a solid 4.5!

Please incorporate Audible Alarms/Notices. Great job!!! Love the app. I use it everyday. The only suggestion i would have (& implementing this would truely be AWESOME) Is this-I use it often because I tend to forget when I have a lot on my mind. An Audible Alarm alone or accompanied by an Image would be an Awesome addition for Reminders and TO-DO's. That way when a date approaches, an alarm (maybe with 2 or 3 settings for pre alarm notices) with a related images sounds and flashes on your iPhone. The app is great as it is but if I forget to open it I forget some of my list. Oh and the alarm should work regardless of wether the app Is opened, closed, another app is in use or on a call... Alarm should still sound. Thanks for the Awesome app once again. Pleeeeeaaase put audible alarms for next update...pleeeeaaase??.

Great to-do app! Needs more backgrounds. I have had this app since it came out and I really like it. I’ve tried others and keep coming back. It’s so easy to use, a lot of personalization features too. I just wish they had new backgrounds - with all the upgrades this hasn’t been done. Easy fix?

Deletes notes. I have used this app for 8+ years. It's been extremely helpful to me for a variety of note uses from grocery lists, recipes, daily notes and more. However, I am absolutely fed up with it randomly deleting my notes. It’s been going on for years. Every time I think my notes are safe, it happens again. Today it completely deleted the vast majority of my notes, and despite using iCloud, it’s not giving me any way to retrieve the missing notes. I use this app daily, and I need to be able to rely on it. Time to find a reliable alternative.

Battery drain bug killing a great app. Such a great app, I still use it for everything. But recently, every second it’s open kills a percentage of battery on my iPhone6. So I can’t use it as much as I want to.

Don’t do it!. I got this app and I loved it dearly. THEN, one day I couldn’t get into anything I had password protected. I didn’t change my password, in fact I didn’t do anything. I put the files on password protection because it was my most important information. I needed that information. They said they would send me my password to my email address. NOT THERE!! I checked my spam and still nothing. The instructions said if I can’t get my password, there is nothing they can do. I tried to reach out to them - Nothing Again. This has to be an error their part because I didn’t change anything. It seems to me that if that put the password protection on, they can take it off. I’m at Witt’s end. I need my info!!!!!!

Create a movie lists or recipe list with pics. The thing that I like best about this app is that you can store pictures along with your notes, therefore making things much easier to both identify and remember

Awesome Note 2. Im unsure which app is which. I had awesome note then got anote and have awesome note 2. So I have two of them on my ipad. I totally love this (these ) app! Its great for so many things. Ive encouraged many yo get this app for their phones and tablets! I REALLY want the best of them and delete the lessor. Any help???

Used It for Years. And every time I think I have found a replacement I end ip back with Awesome Note. Another app I began using as a daily journal added one bell too many (i liked the original one pic a day idea) and I slowly quit using it. I don’t need to share every darn thing i fo with someone thru an online account or hope my subscription fee is keeping things afloat. Old school - I like owning my apps - and deciding at the time what info goes where and when. I love the folders, the calendar, the photo system. My all in one for every part of my busy day. Hats off to you guys.!

Used to be good. I used to LOVE awesome note. I’ve used it for years. But it looks like it is defunct now. The developer’s website won’t load, the app hasn’t been updated in three years (as of June 2022), and syncing with Apple Notes/iCloud is broken. Would love to continue to use it, and if the developer updated the app and fixed the sync issue, I’d come right back here and increase my rating. But as of June 2022, this is where this app is.

Beautiful and useful. I’ve been using Awesome Note for years. Part diary, part commonplace book for quotes, words of wisdom, and “aha” moments. It’s more visually appealing than any other similar note app that I’ve found. Intuitive and just lovely.

Simply awesome. If you like putting things in folders then this is the app for you. I love how I can place things in my done folder for billing and attach anything to a note. I hope they continue to support this app. I have had it for years and there is simply nothing else as good as Awesome Note.

Beware app no longer supported.. In case anyone still wasn't sure after 3+ years of no updates the developer stated that this app is no longer being supported, updated or developed. Do not buy or start using if you are already using start exporting your notes immediately as it's only a matter of time that an iOS updated completely breaks the app and your data will be lost.

Use all the time. I have had this for over five years now. I use it for all my reference information. One update I would like to see is an undo button as it is easy to accidentally over type or erase previously inputted information.

Love it! Would like to search within notes. Some of my notes are quite long, and it would be great to be able to search and have the app find that string and highlight it where it is in that note instead of just finding the note it’s in.

Colors. Please add more neutral/natural/professional color options. Like someone else mentioned before, the neon colors are hideous. It would be nice if you added the feature of a color scale where we could choose our own color gradient but that may be too complicated. Either way, this app needs less neon

Love it! But... I love this app. It is so easy to use and has got me so organized. But.. could the developers make it so there is a widget feature so you can see your calendar and the date? There’s already one on the widget iPhone page but you can’t get it to the Home Screen. It would be so nice to have this and with this format that is so easy to use. Thanks!

Please fix this problem. An error message popped up “The client provided is not authorized to access the request”, when adding weather information to a diary page. This error message first began to show up in early July and still last to this date. Please fix this problem or provide a solution to restore the weather service. The app version used is v8.9.12

The Best Note app. By far, the best note app... I try them all... Always come back to this app for notes! Simple to use. a lot of color folders, voice recording, adding photos, Diary, reminders, calendar, etc! I use this daily! Thank you!

Deletes Note contents. I have used this app for several years. Periodically, and seemingly at random, the app deletes the contents inside an existing note. I lost all of my child’s growth measurements at random. The note is still there, title is there, empty note. This has happened several times over now on various notes. Very frustrating.

My ‘Go To’ App. I have had this app for many years and have come to rely on it a ton. Love the way you can setup folders and keep things organized. I’m constantly popping in to jot down an idea or capture something. Thanks for the great app. Keep it going!

Totally organized. This is well designed app that I discovered years ago. It’s got really great functionality notes, calendars, reminders, and to do list. My only complaint is the grocery list or to do list tab can’t be sent to other people if it’s created as a list and not in a note format.

After 7 years, I leave a review.. My first note was recorded in 2012. 😲 I’ve used various productivity apps for 7 years, and even bought books learning to master an elephant looking one 😉 But I’ll tell you, this app is the best! I’m totally committed to it now. User friendly, and for a visual/creative person it’s great!

My Go-To TO DO App. I absolutely love this app. I use it all the time, everyday! It is so simple and easy to use and incorporates with my calendar. Instead of a piece of paper to make a to-do list, I use this. If you are a list maker, this app is for you!

I love this app but it needs to sync with other devices!. This is the best app for organizing your work and life especially from a visual point of view. I think it far exceeds Evernote, Onenote and the like. The only problem is that it doesn’t sync to your other Apple devices. Web developers: please do it!!!

Finally Found My Dream Organizer!. I love this app! It does everything that I want an organizer app to do plus more that I didn’t know I needed, and it manages my home life, my professional life, and my personal life. It has all the features that I could want and it looks absolutely beautiful.

Conflicted. I love this app. I use it for everything - budgeting, storing lists, to dos, calendar integration but UNFORTUNATELY it will randomly delete all the content in some of my notes. Today I lost all of the passwords and budget data that I store. If they would only fix that bug I would love this app and give 5 stars but unfortunately I’ve now lost information that was only stored in this app.

Puzzled. I had the awesome note like forever and all of a sudden yesterday it froze up. It would do anything. I had all my notes in it. So I deleted the app then thought I would go to the App Store and and reinstall it. But it’s not there there is only Awesome note 2. When I installed it it didn’t sync and now I’ve lost everything I’ve saved for years. I would never remember all my notes I entered. I am not a happy person.

Sync to iCloud does not work; no other sync option anymore. I used to love this app because it supported sync with either iCloud or Google Drive. Now Google Drive support is no longer available which is not the worst. The worst thing is that iCloud support now stops working! Without any sync support, you stuck with one device. You will lose all of your notes once your device is obsolete! Please fix the problem or no one will buy this app!! Alex

Nice but needs a desktop version and widgets. Nice app but would be better if it could be accessed on a computer instead of just a phone. It also needs some widgets for the Home Screen to display today’s to dos etc.

Developer has left app. The developer has left the app to just die away. They have not updated the app in over 8 months, they have not been active on FB/Twitter in over a year. They will not respond to FB/Twitter messages. When I email them it gets sent back to me. I contacted Apple and there is nothing they can do. The app developers no longer care about this app and they people that paid for it. Do yourself a favor and find an alternative because this app no longer gets tended too. Sad but true.

Great App - Unresponsive Customer Support. I’ve used this app for years and it is, in fact, almost awesome. But I’ve recently sent several emails asking for assistance over one simple issue, and never received a response or even an acknowledgement. They’d be more awesome if they were more responsive.

Still my favorite note app. Hands down my favorite production app, use it almost daily to remind myself on my schedule. I have been trying different app but this one works for me and up to my aesthetics. Highly recommend!

Randomly deletes notes. This app would be great if it didn’t randomly delete notes from time to time. It will have the Title saved then you click on the note to open it and all the information is gone. I keep notes for a reason, so that i don’t have to memorize everything. App is unreliable. Has happened to me several times.

Useful, not great. If you cut or copy part or all of a list to move it to a newly created list, when you paste the copy all the photos are lost and big blank places left in their places. If you make visual lists, to remember exactly which dogfood you want, for example, it’s gone if you cut that part of a list to make it its own. A list of scouted photo locations with reference shots is made into a useless list of addresses or coordinates with lots of blank space in the same way. Adding a photo to a list is a bit cumbersome in the first place, but this feature makes it worse than useless since you can never reorganize visual list content.

Printable?. I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find a way to contact the developer. I do not see any recent update not sure if that means the app will no longer work with the iOS to ask if this app has the ability to print the journals into a books. I give the app a 4 star before I realize it’s impossible to get ahold of the.I may have to start looking at other journaling apps. Shame since this app was very unique.

This have everything I need and more!. I love this note have passcode lock, I can change background colors and wallpapers, organize my note into folders, font colors, I love it and use it everyday. I hope they can add dark mode keyboard and on log in screen soon!

Can not believe I am still using it!. I have been using this app since 2014 and still no other calendar/reminder apps can beat it! It's simple and elegant interface make managing my day to day so much easier.

Clunky. Looks great. As a flexible note taking app, this is pretty good, feature-wise. However, the functional design is not great. The placement of buttons for tasks and options are not intuitive, things are all over the place, it’s overwhelming. As a to-do list/task-manager, it’s also limiting. I can’t do projects, phone calls, emails, or visit locations like 2Do. Maybe a diary app and note taking app, this is good, but it’s not what I’m looking for.

Preferred to Evernote. This app works the way my brain works for organizing. I love the functionality and the continued improvements. Took me forever to find a replacement for all the functionality I had on my Palm Pilot but this is it. I tried Evernote too but found it cumbersome and more complicated than efficient.

Absolute Hidden Jewel. I’ve tried many planner apps, many calendar apps, many to do list apps, note taking & journal apps. This app has all of them combined with better interface and functionality. Hasn’t been updated in years and still is better than most planner apps.

One of a few apps I paid for. I love this app. When I started using, this was one of the leading app in all note apps. The color, design and functions all perfect. Please update the auto numbering which is a huge thing for me & basic function to be honest. I really want to keep using this app.

Great Tool!. I’ve been using this app for years - mainly as a type of database. I have organized my thousands of patterns for various crafts into different folders (e.g., knitting, quilting, embroidery, etc). I sometimes include pictures. I refer to the app before purchasing a patterns or book to make sure it’s nit a duplicate. I know this app has a lot more functionality than I use.

Awesome Note. Would rather give it no stars. Have used it for years. Suddenly stopped accepting my passcode. Pressed “forgot password” and requested send link to change. Screen shows my correct email and says link sent. But I never receive anything. Did this about 20 times. Found the “Contact us” button for the developer. Sent numerous emails... no response. You’ll be sorry when your app locks up and you can no longer access your notes.

Impeccable note taking app, through the years. I have been using the Awesome Notes since iPhone 7. Going back to take a look of the version of this Appa and its ability to still work with no problems. Even when there was no update for a year, it permeates to iOS 13 without a hitch for me. Crashing every second!! Grrrrr!. Upgraded from iPhone 8 to iPhone XS and poof! It doesn’t work anymore!! 😡😱😢 App crashes one second after opening. Can’t write note, save note, or create backup...can’t even report crashing to developers within the app...because it crashes before you start typing! Really really upset there has not been a fix to this. Yes I have 1) turned iPhone off and on (still crashes) 2) backed-up current files to iCloud (barely let me before crashing again) 3) Deleted and reinstalled app...now crashes faster!! Open-pause-crash. I have LOVED this app, one of my most used for many many years. It until this MAJOR crashing problem with iphone XS is fixed I cannot give it more than 1 star. Please fix my favourite app! I need it! (PS I have emailed the developers 4 times to report this issue and have yet to hear back.)

Back to being great!. Biggest thing that is missing is a web version to tie iPad and iPhone together and make onenote and Evernote obsolete!!! Along with a way to email notes directly to the app. Please add the ability to email notes to a note that every note now charges for. Thank you for a great app!!!

Updated review. It hurt me at first to lose Google Sync but I have learned to manage. I've been using this app for years. The updates have made it better and I write story ideas for my books on the go. The back up feature makes it easy to sync on my Dropbox so I have it all backed up twice.

Best Note App Period!!!. I have been an obsessive compulsive note taking addict since the age of 10. (I'm 49 now) I have tried many many many similar apps in the past but they have always lacked in various ways. Awesome Note is the only app of this kind you will will ever need. Period!

Note Was Deleted. l have been using this app for a long time. I was devastated finding out that I had lost my medical journal that is needed for my appointment tomorrow. All I remember was doing a hard reset on my iphone, then tonight I needed to log my vitals and it was gone. I lost a whole month of my log that is needed for my doctor. I guess I needed to find a new app as too where I can keep it. I am so sad 😭

Battery drain!. I have used Awesome note for years on my iPhone and have had no problems until recently. It has been draining my battery at a tremendous rate and heats up the iPhone. I have a shopping list set up and I have used it for years without a problem in the grocery store as I shop. Today it dropped from 75% to 15% in less than 40 minutes. I have everything imaginable shut off including using airplane mode. No solution. Emails to tech support unanswered. Hate to say it but not so awesome anymore. Loathsome note might be a better name.

Please fix issues asap. Hello, I just bought this app today after doing some research and found this to be the best app. After I installed and was making some changes to it’s setting and the app just crashed and kept on crashing whenever I opened it. I had to restart my iPhone X. And please update the app to use the face ID please. Thank you.
