Best Flight Info App Available. This app is the best flight info app available and is a must when traveling with short stop overs. Connection info with gate and terminal info is kept up to date with very little updated lag time and is better than the actual apps the airlines have. I never travel without it. Great for tracking estimated landing times when picking up family and friends.

Great app losing its greatness. While the airport maps and general layout of the app is the best there is the current gate changes updates leave much to be desired. Used this app for to and from through Atlanta on Delta recently and it almost had the wrong gate on the way there and has yet to update to the correct gate for the return trip. I would have missed the flight if I relied on this. Hoping for fast improvements given I originally bought this when it was 9.99 and still periodically pay for the alerts on the subscription system.

Great app. Like most reviewers here, I previously used an app that is now unsupported. I fly at least once a month as well as pick friends and family up at the airport several times a month so so need a reliable tracker. This one is great. I haven't found any glitches yet. I highly recommend this app to replace the non-working FTPro app. If you travel much or need to track others flights, it's worth the money.

Do not get this app!!! You will pay and pay.... This app worked great until the payment model changed. If you want to track more than 3 flights in a month the app blocks it and forces you to pay a subscription rate—even if you purchased the PRO for $10 in the past—this app is now worthless unless you pay a monthly fee. Note: The apps claims you can track 4 flights in a given month without the subscription fee—but the app actually blocks you from adding the 4th flight in the same month. Once you pay, you are subject to random fee changes. Not a reliable model. Unfair to people that purchased the app.

THE VERY BEST RESOURCE FOR UP TO THE MINUTE AIR TRAVEL INFORMATION. For up to the minute status and future flight planning. Definitely 5 STARS...... I have have been using this App and it’s predecessor for nearly 10 years now and continue to find it to be EXCELLENT, and EXTREMELY RELIABLE SOURCE of UP TO MINUTE AIRLINE TRAVEL INFORMATION whether you currently traveling, or preparing to travel, or planning future workable itineraries. Whether DOMESTIC or INTERNATIONAL, this APP CONTINUALLY WORKS to provide you with the LATEST, LIVE UPDATES as SCHEDULING, WEATHER, and EQUIPMENT CHANGES ROUTINELY EFFECT DAILY AIR TRAVEL WORLDWIDE.

Still a great App!. UPDATE: After using the newly redone app for a few months, I’ve gotta say still 5 stars in my book! Had a calendar issue after a recent update & I contacted the developer who got right back to me (really!) & sent out a version update shortly after. I actually think the app is even better than it was in the past, well worth the nominal monthly fee. I get timely updates regarding gate, departure, landing & flt changes - almost always well before the airlines. 👍🏻👍🏻 I’ve been a long time user of Flight Update Pro. Yes I paid $ to purchase the app outright 7-10 years ago. I’ve always found the developer to be incredibly responsive whenever there were problem/issues, which were thankfully few & far between. I have to admit I was very surprised (& initially dismayed) by the new price structure but after reading the developer’s reasoning for doing so, I whole heartedly support & appreciate his efforts in trying to keep this app afloat. I travel mostly for pleasure & this app has saved our family from major travel headaches a number of times over the years. Always accurate & timely as well as easy to use. Works great on my Mac, iPhone & iPad. I highly recommend this app!

Best Flight Tracking App Available. The is the best airline flight tracking application in iTunes. I have been using it for over ten years. Every year, I review flight tracking applications to determine if anything else is better than this application and I have never found one. The application needs to be used in unison the with the TripIt application to utilize all features. Fight and hotel reservations have to be emailed to TripIt. Afterwards, TripIt unloads the flight and hotel information making it available to be downloaded to the Flight Update application. The Flight Update applications has more features than the TripIt application, hence the reason you want to use both applications rather than just TropIt.

Not good enough. It works and the information is well presented. But I cannot give more than three stars because compared to FlightTrack Pro, that was bought and killed off by Expedia, the information truly lags behind. It takes far too long to see when the status of a flight has changed. With FlightTrack Pro I was always the first one one to know, even before the crew knew about it, such as canceled flights, changed gates or delays. I have notifications turned on but why do I not get a notification when the airplane has taken off or touched ground respectively landed as soon as the information is available? I checked the Prefs and Landed and Departed are checked. Subscribing has no benefit for me as I found out. I will get the same information from the airport or airline websites. I have used this app now for several years and I will have to find something better.

The Best!. I live in the United States, but have family in Canada, so I fly there several times a year, and this is the app I use to check flight status. If I am home, and my wife is flying anywhere by herself, this app keeps me informed of her flight status. The app is powerful and versatile, and extremely intuitive. I have tried competing apps, but for one reason or another they don’t measure up to this one. I would also note that for a few dollars it is definitely items worth it to get the Pro version. And for those of you who are complaining about “having to pay...” think of the amount of time and effort the programmer of this app put into create it, and what it takes to maintain it. There is usually a price to quality, and if you have a problem with paying the programmer what he so justly deserves, then find another app.

Unacceptable Update. I purchased this app and there was no limit to how many flights that could be tracked. I frequently travel more than 5 flights within a month. Now, with this latest update, you can only track 5 flights in a month without being forced to pay for a subscription. Today is only 4 days into this month and I am now unable to track any more flights without a subscription as I have reached the limit. Basically, it’s turned into an in-app purchase app. I have used this app for years but it ends now due to greedy developers. I will now just use google to get flight information as it’s free. I will also be asking for my money back. Even if I don’t get it, I will make a point to never use this app or any app from this developer. ******Keep in mind that this app is not worth paying for if you do not fly often.

Happy airline pilot. I commute every week from Seattle to Denver for work. I need to know quickly where the gates are for my flight and what type of equipment it is. It is important to know as a jump seater if there are going to be enough cockpit seats. "i.e. is it a 737 or an A320." As we all know if it's 737 it probably has one jumpseat and A320 has two. Also a 737 will break your back and an A320 will leave you alive and ready to work. Thank you for making this app. A good replacement to a company that quit supporting a perfect app.

Still the best. I used to have notifications and I would find out about flight delays and gate changes earlier than they updated the board at the airport. I am now paying for the notifications and the notifications are inconsistent. I deleted all my flights and added them again but still hit or miss. In spite of all of this the app is still good to see gate information, inbound aircraft and calculate your layover so you can max out that lounge time.

Quite simply the Best way to track and see the status of your flights. Whether it’s to track a friend or family members incoming flight, or to keep track of your own travel plans, this is far and away the clearest and most elegant app for doing that. Also, the alert that sounds like a flight attendant call button is just too wonderful! Ivdd we been using this for ten years; and it’s always been superior to the airline apps.

Awesome Flight Tracker. As a pilot for a major airline, this is one of my daily tools. Fast, easy data entry, and easy to read info make this the best app of its kind. I fly about 10 flights every week, and it mirrors my schedule to my calendar for my family to keep up with my frequent schedule changes. Bad weather? Canceled flight? Just search for all available flights, or for a specific airline, it's all easy with this app. Even check to see when the incoming flight will arrive at your gate, or check seating charts before you book. I use it all day, every day at work (gate change notifications!). Better than any app my fellow pilots have shown me. My recommendation is to get the Pro version. For a few dollars it gives you push notifications for gate changes, etc. could save you a long walk or a missed flight. That's worth a few bucks! Update: have been using this app for a few years now. Previous versions have had a few minor glitches, but the latest version seems to have fixed everything. I'm 30 years into this airline career with one of the big 3, and this app is faster than what my own airline provides for us. It's still my go-to source for quick gate and weather info. I have over 300 separate trips in the history in this app - each one has from 1 to 4 or more days of flying. I highly recommend it for both flight crew and passengers.

Slap in the face for longtime users. As a commuting Airline Pilot I’ve been using this app for years, with unlimited flight tracking under the original agreement when we all purchased it at what was then a hefty price. I understand business environments change, and you have every right to charge new customers whatever pricing and subscription plan you please, but it is disappointing that the customers who supported you early on are not grandfathered into our original features. As a commuter, even the highest subscription tier would still not allow me to track all the flights I need to every month, and I feel the pricing is not a good value anyway, so I’ll be bidding adieu I suppose.

Latest update is a disaster.... It is (was) the absolute best flight tracker on the market. Now a subscription is required MONTHLY to access anything more than a handful of flights. I agree with the subscription...but refund my $10 first. I understand your costs have changed. Your efforts to keep the app going by floating it for three years created expectations that you cannot maintain. You are selling this to pilots and professionals. They can pay. The WAY you implemented the changes blindsided everyone. THAT is why they (and I) are going to leave the app. Your app just went into the trash bin and was replaced by Flightview Elite. I also sent a demand for a full refund as your update REMOVED a previous functionality that was paid for. I am also going to pursue the Apple App Store restrict sales of this app and all related subscriptions until this is fixed for the hundreds of thousands of users that you hosed. You might reconsider reversing your policy and begin to buy your data from another source before THOUSANDS of subscribers jump ship...to FlightView Elite...

Best Flight tracking app EVER!. I get to travel internationally several times a year. This app has proved to be indispensable. The other flight tracking apps (TripIt, Tripcase, and airline apps) simply give up once you leave the US border. In these days of airline schedule disruptions, flight cancellations, delays, gate changes etc., Flight Update is always first with timely essential information. Thank you for this essential travel tool. Now maybe a watch app?

Now charging. I paid for this app full price a couple years ago for add free. Now they have decided to start charging if you want to look up more than 5 flights a month. It is way overpriced in my opinion. A monthly fee for an app like this is ridiculous. (After their response) Maybe it didn't have adds but I am not mistaken about this app. I am in the Airlines and I use this app nearly everyday to track flights incoming to gates. I have recommended it to many other pilots. I do agree it is a very good app. No longer going to recommend. If you would like my business again I understand needing to charge but come up with a reasonable yearly fee. I won't pay a fee though unless you allow searching for connecting flights. Maybe enter a minimal connection time in settings then search for same airline connecting flights. I can't call it a bait and switch because I paid for this app a few years ago. It needs better features to pay for it. I can search these apps just the same for free and deal with the adds. FlightStats Flight tracker App in the Air

Fly a lot? Use another app!. I am a professional airline pilot and have used the app for several years. App is simple to use and add multiple flights that are automatically mirrored to your calendar perfectly. All good! What's bad now is the significant price increase to be able to track multiple flights. The lower tier (cost and number flights allowed to track) is probably adequate for the average flier, However, it is completely inadequate for folks that fly frequently, or in my case, for a living. Regrettably, I decided that the significant price increase to allow tracking more flights is not worth it and have decided to drop my subscription.

Prompt Response to Issues and Questions. I have to commend Scott, the owner of Silverware Software. I use three of his apps (Flight Update Pro, MileTracker, and TimeTracker) and whenever I’ve had a problem, I’ve used the “Email the Author” option and have always received a prompt and satisfying response. It’s obvious that Scott enjoys his work and that comes out in his willingness to walk through problems that users may be experiencing. If you are unhappy with something, shoot Scott an email first, then come back here to evaluate his customer service.

Best flight tracker out there. There are a lot of concerns over the monthly subscription that was recently introduced. The bottom line is the developer was losing money due to charges he was incurring over the flight searches being performed. From a business standpoint (yes, it's a business not a charity) this simply is not sustainable. I've been using this app since its inception, both as an airline pilot and now as a retiree. It has consistently been the best out there and it still is. I could bemoan the fact that now I have to pay a little for it each month or I can be happy that I was able to use it all these years with no monthly subscription. I choose the latter. I haven't found a flight tracking app that comes close to this one.

Works Great; Disappointed in Subscriptions. Love this app. I've been using it for traveling for years as it has features that aren't really found anywhere else (baggage claim info, takeoff/landing times in addition to overall leave/arrival times). The recent move to subscriptions (particularly since I purchased the property version long ago) is really challenging. As a result, I may simply abandon this and just work with other apps (TripIt Pro) for my normal experience. The minimal level of five flight per month in the free tier is really challenging, particularly if my travel just happens to be more than that amount for a given month. A subscription by annual number of flights might be more palatable for semi-frequent flyers.

Been using for a few years and still live this app. I’ve been using this app for a few years to keep track of all of our flights. It’s easy to input your data, provides a quick summary screen, seating information, real-time flight map and notifications of flight changes before I get them from the airline. On one occasion when I had a problem with the app, the developer replied quickly with a solution. Improvements that are made occasionally have been well received. Keep up the good work.

Subscription Change not thought out well. Clearly one of the best programs available for the purpose of flight tracking. . Five star rating for the application and zero stars for changing to a poor subscription model with no warning. When I upgraded to pro I paid a flat fee that was supposed to cover as many flights as I took. Was just on a business trip which had four legs and discovered that my limit of five flights a month was maxed. As a businessman I take 5- 10 trips a month each with an average of two legs therefore I have approximately 20-30 flights a month And that would cost me $60 a year. Some months I will have no flights but would still have to pay the monthly fee because rather than making this a flat annual fee they have chosen to make it a monthly fee not based on how many flights you fly that month but on your subscriber level. Poorly done for me. Fix that and I will reconsider if the annual fee makes sense. Quite a jump from what I was paying. If there was a reasonable charge of a couple dollars a month that covered my flights I would be a satisfied user but since that is not available I have to find a different program.

7.21 is a failure. App used to be awesome. Not now. When this at first came out I paid $10 for it and used it when Flight Track Pro stop working. As an airline pilot whose company flies 4000+ flights per day, I might look at 150 to 200 flights per month looking to see what flights get from one airport to another. This app will NOT for for more than 5 flights per month unless you pay $1.99 to look at 20 flight and $4.99 to look at 50 flights. Even if this app allowed me to look at 50 flights, It locks up at 50 flights, whether you save the flight or not. This new version was ill thought out for frequent traveler who look at hundreds of flights per month. It used to be a great app. Not any more. Why on earth would anyone pay $1.99 a month so they could browse 20 flights ? If the developer wanted me to pay $5 a month for unlimited flights, I would do that but this 50 flights per month limit is woefully inadequate. I hope the developer reaches out so he can understand why a 50 flight limit doesn't work for a airline pilot or passenger who travels weekly and needs options for various flights from various cities. I no longer recommend this app. Please consider another avenue of revenue generation than what you designed into version 7.2.1

A worthy app for the weary traveler.. I’ve been using this app for a few years. Love it! Keeps track of all flights from all legs & different airlines. I've not found a more comprehensive app in which I can warehouse all of my travel details with portability to my calendar. In conjunction with another app I have visibility to any changes in flight details and alternative choices. Can't and won't do nothin' without this app.

Subscription based now. Hope they go out of business.. I purchased this app after much research on flight tracking app. I wanted one without a subscription and was willing to pay more money initially for this. I’m a crew member and need to track many flights throughout the month. I use to recommend this app, but now I’ll ugh everyone to STAY CLEAR! This should be illegal! I already paid for the app and now they want more of my money for tracking more then 5 flights a month. (The main reason why I paid for the app to begin with.) I hope this greedy company regrets their decision to switch to a subscription based program. I know airline employees/ business travelers won’t stand for this very long before moving their money to a new app. I’ve seen multiple flight tracking apps fail in the pass of the exact same reasons. So good fing luck.

New subscription model is thumbs down. I’ve been using this app for years. I paid the premium price for the app way back when for a one and done fee. Now the developers decided to switch to the greedy subscription model where they nickel and dime you for tracking flights. Another great app goes down the toilet due to corporate greed. I told many a customer about this app in the past and now I will tell people to steer clear of it. Scrolling through the reviews, nothing but the typical defensive recalcitrant response from the app developers that can’t handle the truth of their greed exposed. You make your bed. You lie in it. Pathetic!

Scam!!!. I read the reviews before making such a large purchase (as far as apps are considered) and it DOES NOT DO WHAT IT SAYS!!! Clearly, the review writers were paid to leave the reviews they did because it’s all 100% NOT TRUE!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! I need a flight board that does what this claims to do as a full-time airport taxi driver, and despite messing around with every option & button available in the app, it absolutely does not do what it says!!! Also, as a side note, the flight board from Appeclectic is also a dud when paying for the premium membership. I’ve paid it, it shows as active, but doesn’t do what it says and tells me to upgrade for the features I need.

Provides the info that I need and when I need it. The app gives me flight reminders and it provides my landing gates and departure gates so that I can maneuver flight connections easily. It is nice that I can organize my trips separate from each other. One improvement would be to add an alert for flight check in 24 hours prior to flight time. Now, I have to set a separate alarm for check in.

Lost a loyal user. I have used (and paid for!) this app for years now. As an airline pilot it was one of my most-used apps at work. I paid for the pro version because I like to support the apps that are well done. Today, as I began adding the flights for my upcoming trip, I was notified that I had reached my “monthly limit” of flights allowed without paying for a subscription (what? Since when?). Mind you, it’s the 1st of the month and I’ve reached this never-before-seen limit. No notice of the impending change. Just “you paid us money and directed dozens of users our way but now we want MORE money with no advance notice.” Wow. Pretty crappy way to earn business. Deleting app now. Finding another worthy of my money.

Had it all. Great app that has about everything you need. The only glitch we found is that the plane seating configuration didn't match the seating on the actual flight. We checked the plane type we were in against the ones listed in the app and they didn't quite match. Small issue but I'm very tall and I always check for the row, isle and bulkhead configuration for a given plane type. This was the first trip we've taken using this app so it could have been an anomaly, but everything else worked great.

Excellent. I am puzzled by taxi driver leaving bad review and claims. I use this application on my travels and I can tell you this is most useful app I had in years. The most important, in my tight time tells me gate number and all updates abut flight! Great! Thank to this app, recently in Rome I wasn’t late an my plane. Thumbs up! UPDATE! It is still good application, but they want subscription on push notification which means this app is not longer better than other free apps! After I paid $10 they want me now to subscribe! It is not honest at all! UPGRADE: It iz amazing app! It helped me during my travels, even I directed my friend in different country to get her on her gate! It is just unbelievable! If I could give this app 10 stars, I would without any hesitation...

Changes to monthly billing for app.. I currently work for a major airline as a Flight Attendant. I used to use this app all the time the last 8 or 9 years... However the last 2 years the app has been awful. It’s slow, It’s very laggy now days, doesn’t push through the flight information, or update the flight information unless you refresh the app yourself. They have started to charge monthly starting July 2019. Absolutely not! I’ve paid for this app years ago and you are changing it to make more money monthly now. Save your money people and do not pay monthly for this app. Use Flight Aware it’s free and doesn’t have a limit on how many flights you track a month.

Was a great app...very disappointed that it now requires a subscription.. Have been using this app for several years to keep track of my husband’s flights as he is a commercial pilot. Was one of the most expensive apps I have purchased but felt it was worth the up front cost. Just discovered today that I can only look up 5 flights a month unless I pay for a subscription which I have NEVER had to do as I often use this on a daily basis. Very disappointed that I paid for the “pro” version and am now required to pay for a subscription. Not worth it.

Charging PER flight lookup now?!?!?!. I’m beyond pi$$ed. I work in the airline industry. Live in one location, commute to where I’m based...the majority of us do. Usually twice a week. You gotta be out of your mind if you think we’re gonna pay for PER FLIGHT LOOK UP. This new ‘subscription’ has rendered your app 100% worthless to ALL of us in the industry who used it. Previously...a 5 star rating. Now?...no way. Like another person said, we’ll look up HUNDREDS of flights a month. Hell, sometimes in ONE DAY! That happens when there is a weather event taking place with a LOT of cancellations/delays...and we’re plotting our way home or to work. I’m very annoyed...and sad to see this change here.

Closest next best. While the best flight app ever is no longer supported, this one comes closest to being the next best. It's unfortunate though that when you find the flight you want, you are unable to save it as a new trip. This app actually makes you go back in and manually enter that same information. Also, even though the notification options are turned on, you cannot count on this app to send the desired notices - you must remind yourself via another resource to go in and check the status of your entered trips.

Good app; angry users. When the App Store was first implemented Apple only allowed one pricing scenario, which was short sighted as there’s few software programs offering lifetime subscriptions for a low price. The US is still a capitalist country and from the appearance of the comments it seems high-volume users expect the cost to be absorbed and/or offset by new subscriptions. The reality is new iPhone sales have subsided and subscriptions the new reality. I’d recommend the Dev explain the issue on the App Store page.

Love this program. My wife travels a lot for business & this program helps me keep track of her. The only thing you need to know is that there is about a nine minute lag between real time landing and when the program updates you. But once you understand that you can plan accordingly to be at the airport on time. Also the free version has a limit on the number of flights you can track in one month. I think it’s five or seven. So if you need to track more than that you’ll need to purchase the pro version.

All my flight status needs in one place. I travel for business and use this app constantly: I can find flights across all airlines; get instant updates while traveling; see if a delay will impact my layover; I can even tell how far apart gates are if my layover is short. I also use it to see if general flights to a city are on time on any given day and whether the inbound flight to my gate is on time or late. I depend on this app so much I can’t imagine traveling without it!

Getting greedy. I paid $20 for this app several years’ ago, and I just cancelled my current subscription as they have introduced a tiered system with the highest tier costing $15 a month with a limit of 150 searches (what’s with these arbitrary numbers?!) As an airline pilot, this app was very convenient and the color coding for on time, delayed and canceled was a quick way to adjust plans, but in all honesty, I think the developers have gotten greedy, especially as they get their information the same way that everyone gets it, so unless they are providing drastically new services that make the app Indispensable and better than lesser-priced apps, they have simply substantially increased the subscription prices and reduced the usefulness (search limitations based on subscription price) to the point that it’s insulting. Unless they have really really upgraded the app, it’s just about seeing how much they can charge for the same old services.

Subscription changes everything. I used to like this app. The new limitations imposed on the free version combined with the excessive subscription price now makes it much less useful in either form. This app syncs with TripIt but why now pay a lot more to use both? Just use TripIt if you have it. If developers want to charge for new features, I have no opposition to that. However, after paying for this app the developers went back and imposed new limitations on the number of flights that it would track in the original paid version. This essentially changed the product that I originally purchased. That should be unlawful. Changing the original product after agreeing to sell it for a price is outrageous. I no longer trust this developer. How do you know that they won’t change the terms of this product again in the future? You cannot be sure what you are really buying.

Not for occasional travelers. I originally paid for this app so that I could track the flights that I took. It worked great. I am not a frequent flier, I may take 6 or 7 flights a year at most. Sometime after I paid for the app, it was converted into a subscription service. Now, the app is completely useless unless you pay a monthly fee. I get why, it costs money to run the infrastructure that is used to provide data to the app. I don’t appreciate what was essentially a bait and switch. I paid for this app, and now I can’t use it. It is absolutely not worth paying for unless you’re flying all the time. That is not me. I will not be purchasing a subscription for this app now, or ever.

I am FURIOUS!!!. I have used Flight Tracker on and off through the years and never had a problem with it. I use it ONLY occasionally when we’re planning a vacation. So...just now when I was trying to put in our next vacation flights, as I was putting in the last of 5 flights (same vacation), it says I have ALREADY put in 5 flights and they now want to CHARGE me for a subscription in order to continue. First of all, I have put in only FOUR flights...NOT 5!!! And, I originally PURCHASED this app several years ago and have never had to pay extra for putting in extra flights. My option is to PURCHASE another Flight Tracker, which I REFUSE TO DO!!!

Subscription Will Be This Apps Demise. I am part of the Beta testers of this app and used it for years. I paid the $9.99 fee to track all flights and they have switched to a monthly fee to track your flights. Poor communication regarding the new business model to generate revenue. As a customer this feels greedy and nothing more than a cash grab. This was not the app model I paid for and it will ultimately be the demise of a great app. I am leaving for greener pastures that do not milk their customers. As I categorize the comments by date I see the trend as this app will go from 5stars to 3 within months. To the developer, listen to your customers. If your subscription service is now pay per use as you have stated, you may need to switch providers, even if it’s a lesser product. You are jumping over dollars to get to nickles and you will ultimately lose your customer base. I have been a vocal advocate of this app and turned countless people into it, I no longer can do that for you. Best of luck - stop the bleeding before it’s too late, this app is very lucrative for you, find a way to sustain it in the old model before you lose it. We all remember what happened to FlightTrack Pro, learn from others failures (I realize it is a different scenario, but the lack of vision is the same)

The only flight App that I use. I have used this app since I first obtained an iPad. If there is any useful information about a flight, this App either retrieves it or allow you to enter and save it. Helps me keep track of my business travel and my kids going back and forth to college. About the only thing it does not do is book or rebook flights for you. One really nice feature is that it taps into the FAA schedule so it sees air traffic delays that the airlines do not disclose.

Indispensable if you or family travel. I’ve been using the app for years and while I think the change to a subscription based app could have been rolled out much better with an explanation as to why, I believe the app is well worth the price. As a business executive I understand how you must react to cost changes forced upon you by another third party. I think the subscription levels make sense for most travelers. I use this in conjunction with TripIt. I like being able to track flights on a map and getting additional information that TripIt doesn’t offer (probably because of the cost structure for flight tracking). I think the cost is reasonable for the in flight tracking and other flight updates.

Bait-and switch, very dishonest folks. As far as capabilities go, hands down, it is an awesome app. It worked better for all airlines I used it for, better than the app off from the particular airline! But.... I used the free version for long time, then I had to buy the pro version which was ok, well worth. I came to realize recently that they switched to a subscription model beyond 5 flights/month which is unethical at best. I and my wife travel once or twice a year, just over 5 flights each time. Now i'd have to subscribe each time and cancel or pay throughout the year for nothing. $1.99/month wouldn't kill me, but it is the principle. I guess the handful of pilots and the few thousand business people generate enough revenue to screw the rest of us over..... Update: after posting my review I sorted existing reviews by most recent to realize I am not alone... I see wondering if there was an unhappy lawyer with enough free time on his/her hand to draft a class action suit.....?

Scam. I bought this app for ten bucks a few months ago. The app description detailed that Flight Update Pro will send push notifications. A couple of days ago a pop up message showed at launch telling that now I have to paid over 15 bucks/year to receive notifications. Dear developer: if you “need” to charge for the service do it for the NEW customers. They would purchase the app knowing that they will need to paid for push notifications. Have the decency of HONOR the features that you offered when I bought the app. Better yet. Offer 20 free notifications/month. Pro users that need more could be charged. Or offer a notifications “refill” to add lets say 100 notifications for one unique payment.

Easily the best Flight Tracking App. Update to my review: Not only does this app continue to surpass every other one in the category, the developer is extremely fast at responding to any questions. This is a well made, well supported app. Definitely worth a full five star rating. I have used this app for a number of years now. My wife is a Fight Attendant for a major US carrier, and this app has proved invaluable for us both to track her trips. Enter the flights once into the app and have it automatically update a shared calendar and all her trips appear on both of our iPhones. Unlike other apps it also updates the calendars when trips are changed. It is easy to enter the data, easy to use and accurate. The developer has obviously paid very close attention to usability, and is extremely responsive to emails for bug reports (of which there are very few!) and even suggestions for improvement. Cannot recommend this app highly enough. Easily worth every penny.

This is the one. Spent a small fortune trying different flight apps. This is by far the best and most versatile one. Outstrips all other flight apps on the market.

Good service!. Very good service, thanks so much.

The replacement I wanted/ not anymore. Finally found something that replaces FlightTrack Pro, albeit expensive. Only thing missing is the plane type, can this be added? Old review above, take it all back. Now you have to pay if you want more than 5 flights a month. I see response from developer saying they were losing money. Well I paid for the app expecting a service and now you expect to change that deal and ask for more, and every month. Simple, I won’t use the app anymore and will find an alternative. In reality they should refund all those who paid

No Virgin Australia (VOZ) flight data available. After paying for this app I now find out it does not cover Virgin Australia flights. The Virgin New Zealand flight info is there. That's no use to me in Australia. Either fix the app or please refund my money. Thanks

Dissapointed. Can't even find the aircraft seating map or the option to see where the flight is position on the route. Maybe I am missing something I don't know. So far not I Pressed with Pro

Not in Oz. This App looks good for the US but is disappointing for Australia. Real time status is just not good enough. Messages such as Flight Scheduled to Leave 2 Hours Ago are simply useless. Also no Australian flight ever seems to be delayed according to this App! Don't we wish this were true? I was sadly underwhelmed as this was over hyped. Can only hope updates will make this thing remotely helpful.

FAIL!!!!. Failed at the worst possible time. I have a subscription but it fails to recognise. Says can’t connect to App Store. Other apps connect no problem.

Crashes when uploading to Tripit. It doesn't seem to sync properly with Tripit.

New version. This app used to be great. Since the latest upgrade unfortunately most of the time it will not show you alternate flights particularly on multi stop routes. This is why I purchased the app. Will not track in real time Is very slow in reporting arrivals, gate changes etc I would no non get recommend his app. Said but true

Sad. Why did you go subscription? We don’t travel enough to warrant a subscription.

Just went downhill in a big way. I paid for the pro version of the app but suddenly I am now expected to pay a monthly subscription in addition to the initial app cost. I will not be using this app in future which is a shame because it was quite useful. I feel that I paid for a service which I am now not receiving. Very poor way for the developers to treat loyal customers.

Indispensable!. Keeping track of flights in iCal, the various alerts, and so much information makes this an indispensable app for anyone flying locally or internationally. Keeps getting better and well worth the investment.

Best flight app. I have tried almost all the flight apps, this is the best. No doubt about it.

Pricing structure changed. I paid for the pro version of the app 12months ago to remove restrictions but now the pricing structure has been changed and I need a subscription on top of the original purchase price. It’s ok for the dev to change their pricing model going forward but they should honour the original purchase conditions for existing users rather than asking for us to pay again.

Excellent. Excellent Application

Great. Been using for some time now, it’s great for gate changes, comes up here before sowing on terminal boards. Can’t beet that.

Very helpful To organiSe my flights. Thank so much

So handy. I've used this app for a while and appreciate all the information it provides, both as a traveler and as one waiting for a loved one to arrive.

Highly Useful. I've just moved over from the now defunct FlightTrack Pro. This is a great app and has virtually everything I need for this type of app. It is brilliant. I also love the responsiveness of the developer and his desire and willingness to take this app further. If you need a flight tracking app then this is what I would consider the best, after trying out quite a lot of them first. From what I heard from the developer, many of the small annoyances will soon be sorted out, and he is very responsive to feedback - and no, I don't know the guy or app in any way except a quick and thorough reply he sent me when I suggested some changes. I'm really starting to like this app.

2nd rate. Can't save flights, the old flight track was far better. A useless rip-off. Really poor. Robbery

I recommend sticking with Flight Update over 'Pro'. I downloaded this and found that the offering is not that advantageous over the excellent basic Flight Update product. Seems you get a little more function in Tripit (if you are able or want to use it) but little else. Not sure the price reflects the 'added' advantages. The developers need to add some different touches for the common man.Airport maps would be nice or terminal weather info. Tripit isn't that nice a thing even if you have use for it. 90 percent of users will be happy with the basic version...this is probably more for the small business man. If you find you just love Tripit, you'll love this too. Silverware did a fantastic job with Flight Status and I use it alot. Not sure this Pro version did anything more for me.

Was brilliant. Now disappointing.. I have used this app for a number of years starting from the original and then upgrading to the Pro version. It was brilliant BUT with the new restriction of 5 only flights a month, it is virtually unusable. I understand why there should be a restriction, BUT it should be more like 15-20 before a subscription is required. ESPECIALLY for those who have PAID previously. We understand the developers issue - the developer should understand ours.

Not cool that you abandoned Pro purchasers when switching your revenue model. I bought this app in the pro version several years ago, paying full price in the App Store. I went to use it today having not used it in a while and found to my dismay that in order to boost their revenues the developers had switched to a subscription-based model and previous purchasers like me have now been left completely in the lurch with a useless app that I have now deleted. Very disappointing that developers go this way and leave their previously loyal paying customers in the lurch.

Mr. I have been using this app for a few months now since the sad demise of Flight Track Pro. I looked at a few other alternatives but Flight Update Pro is the one that I finally settled on. It has provided everything that I need from the app and overall I have been very impressed! Also, over the last few months my communications with the developer have all been answered within 24 hours; he has helped me to resolve a timezone problem that I had with the app and he has taken my suggestions on board for possible changes down the track. Keep up the good work! A new Aussie fan.

Best Flight App for frequent Travelers!. A detailed Flight App I was searching for a long time and finally got this awesome app.Its accurate and reliable in every sense. Thanks to the developers of this app and wish you all the very best to carry out your great work!!!

Mr. A waste of my money here in Australia

PdeG 52. Great and useful app. Very happy with the performance of this app.

Pathetic Qantas updating. Wasted money. The free Qantas flight status gives more accurate info. Very dissapointed for the money spent.

This WAS one of my favourites travel apps.. I’m not impressed having originally paid for the Pro version of this app then having the developers restrict the number of trips monitored to 5 - unless a subscription is paid for. Anyone who has need of an app like this (including myself) is likely to travel far more often than 5 flights a month. This is poor form and I feel a breach of my consumer rights. As the app is no longer of use to me due to a change of its functionality, I would expect a refund of my original purchase. I would not have paid for a Pro version if I also then had to pay a subscription.

Good App ;-). I am in Australia and using it for domestic flight for my iphone 3GS and my iPad 1.Generation. It works fine and is updating and informing about delays, so I am happy so far ... It works also with Airlines just like Tiger Airlines which has all the time delays ;-(

Useful & reliable. I have tried quite a few of the flight tracking apps, especially since Flight Track Pro stopped being supported and this is one of the better ones. I use the app for tracking the flights of family and friends and I also use the TripIt integration to synchronize my own flights and this function is very handy. As remarked by other reviewers, the developer is always very responsive and answers any queries promptly. Probably a bit on the expensive side, but it does the job, so I have no regrets.

Flight updater Pro. I use Flight Updater Pro for all my flying travel. Its so useful to know where you need to go when you are on the way into the airport. They also confirm flights. Show you the plan you are on and the map of where it is.s I have introduced friends and co works. They have down loaded it and are using it as well.

A Great App. This is the best app for keeping track of you trips. Period. Has frozen on me once, but I have no app that hasn't.

Review. Love this app. Use it every time when I travel or when I host visitors. Many Thanks ! Yves in Vancouver

Scrap. Scrap for Canadian users.

Works as advertised. but I don’t like the interface of the app. Overall design (except for the icon) looks really boring and dated. I would strongly suggest authors to take a look on other similar apps, say ...Flifgttrack 5 (R.I.P.) and many others. For the price we pay it should look much more attractive.

Reliably accurate. Several times I have been impressed when the app knows gate changes or delays even before the electronic signs in the airport show those changes.

Truly Annoying. Absolute waste of time, and frustrating! Can't delete flights?? What a Joke!

Disappointed in removal of push notifications. I paid C$16 for this app because I wanted the TripIt integration and push notifications. The recent upgrade removes the push notifications unless you pay a monthly subscription fee. This seems pretty unfair considering the already steep app price I already paid. I have switched to FlightView Plus.

Really great. Air Canada kept changing my flight times (about a dozen times), flight update pro kept changing automatically. It is a great app if you are travelling!

Fantastic App. Easy to use .. Has never let me down.

You’re NOW charging for push notifications?!. This once great flight app helped me with my travels. Showing me flight details in a very easy layout. With push notifications telling you of gate changes and other important information. As of now with version 7, I got a message within the app about subscribing to push notifications! I looked into it and it will cost us $1.99 per month! Is this the direction this once great app wants to take? If so, I would rather use the AirLine Carrier’s own app for flight notifications which is for free! I foresee this would cause a trend for more apps going this direction. Besides, you paid only ONCE for an app to get a lifetime of free updates. Pretty soon there would be in-app purchases for special features like viewing a plane layout, watch a real time flight path, etc. I for one would be looking at other flight apps in the future.

Don’t Bother. As I had to travel internationally a lot this past year, I took along 4 flight trackers to see which was the most timely and accurate. Flight Update was at the bottom of the list, with delayed or missed notifications more often than not, and no automatic iCloud sync between devices. The developer now wants to charge a subscription for push notifications. Why would anyone pay additional charges for notifications that may or may not arrive ? The app is not worth the base cost much less a subscription fee on top. Save your money and go elsewhere. Much to my surprise, Flightview Elite proved the most reliable and accurate, for half the cost and no subscription. Flight Update has been tossed off all my devices; yet another purchase that failed to live up to its own hype.

It freezes too often. Not reliable when your flight info needs to be viewed because the app freezes on the main page listing trips

Yeah, but.... There are several roughly equal flight trackers. All have their Pluses and their flaws, here the search is a little annoying but otherwise everything works. At this price point I would have expected a little more functionality. Drop the 'pro' and buy the regular version, nothing really justifies the extra $5.

Complete Crap. This one great app has become progressively worse with late (or no) notifications and now wants $24 per year to provide push notifications - which better apps provide for free. Given the steep purchase price this is pathetic. Delete... moving on to better and cheaper.

Waste. I bought this app for the flight tracking feature and find out after it does not support this feature in Canada. No where in there description does it say this. It seems that more and more App developers fail to think that Canada even exists.

App for Flyers. This is a top notch app. I fly a lot and not only does it update the flight info immediately it will allow you to create separate trips and save them for review. As it does update gate info I think a future version containing airport (gate/terminal) maps would be helpful. That would give a 5 star review. But overall awesome.

Old flighttrack user. Perfect! Don’t change a thing!

Enjoying this App. Great app for keeping track of my travels as well as family member travels. Always enjoy tracking a plane as it makes it's way to the destination. Can't say enough about the excellent service Scott (app author) provided when I ran into a small problem (Totally my fault not the app's) Definitely recommend this app.

Unhappy with payments schedule. I used to purchase the app and that was it. Now you have to pay monthly subscription.

Great app. Great value

Reseńa. Flight pro

I like it!. I use this app all the time. And have for a long time. I use the 'Insta' option to monitor flights and it consistently gives accurate information. I think the map component is great. Our family members are always on the go and this lets us be where we need to be - on time. This has been worth the modest price paid so long ago, hundreds of times over.

Too many issues and too high a price.. I was looking for a Flightrack alternative. This isn't it. For the price it has far too many issues. - if your plans change and you delete them from this app and from Tripit, you still get notified about the flights. Kind of annoying. - if you delete a trip from the app and then try and synch again with Tripit, the flight will not come across. Ever. I had to then delete the app and synch again from the start. - until the flight details are fully downloaded, it creates a calendar appointment as a placeholder. This is short and misleading, especially when others are trying to book meetings and only see your free and busy information. That's the issues I have with the app, which for $14 should all be resolved. Update: I emailed the developer with these issues. He suggested they were fixed - they are not. I've amended my review and I'd not recommend this app until basic Tripit synching is resolved.

Flight Update Pro. ok, so after reading one of the reviews, I realize that apparently this app is not supported in Canada? How is it possible that you support my money when I bought it from the App Store, but now it's not working? Where? on the description of your product on the App Store does it say for Canadians not to purchase this app? For my daughters' flight which I was trying to track from Dubai to Beijing...it constantly showed the flight as 'scheduled'....not 'en route'. I was not able to see a map w/altitude, duration of flight, nothing....it shows me the Terminal; however no gate. Isn't the little plane on the map supposed to move in intervals as it progresses in flight? mine doesn't. Should it not show 'landed' when the plane lands? I had to receive a text from my daughter, saying she was in Beijing. I paid $9.99 for what? So not happy.

Paid twice already. Paid for this app twice already. Just last update it started to limit flights to be tracked each month to 5. Wants me to now do a monthly subscription. Look for a different app.

Disappointed. I was sad (and a bit frustrated) to see an alert asking me to subscribe to Notifications, for which I paid a premium up front when I bought this app. This app has always worked well for me in the past, but if I wanted to subscribe to features, I would have gone with App in the Air in the first place. Time to start looking again.

Subscription model ruins this app. I was very disappointed to see the business model changed for this app - which I have previously purchased - to a subscription model. My experience with other apps is to grandfather those people whom have already purchased an app to continue to use it without restrictions. I will instead purchase a different app not associated with this greedy developer.

Fantastic support for a reliable app. About two weeks ago, I suggested a new feature for the app from the developer; the ability to store seat assignments on a per flight basis Today I was amazed to see that the feature has been implemented. Actually, the implementation was better than I asked for as it was fully integrated with TripIt. The app, is easy to use; the TripIt integration is great and it is completely reliable in the quality and accurate delivery of flight information.

Disappointed and no star!. I already paid for the App, no monthly payment is acceptable in this case

Great app. Love the app. Just needs an Apple Watch app. Very disappointing about the notifications subscription. This is forcing me to look for new Tracker app.

Great App. I use this app every time I fly. Super hardy and works like a charm :)

One of the better one’s you can trust upon. I have tried over a dozen Apps both paid up to 25 $ plus ( including arrival / departure boards ) and free ones and this one is “ The Best “ in terms of accuracy and this is based on over a year’s use with twice a month crazy Travel ) . Only challenge is within first hour of departure from third world countries where updates can take up to an hour .

No Push Notifications without subscription. This was good app. Then push notifications stopped without signing up for monthly subscription. Of very limited value now. Paid a lot for app and now virtually useless. Push notifications was the key feature.

Great app. Work pretty good with updates and flight tracker

Great app, highly recommended.... I travel on average twice a month or more for work and find it extremely helpful and useful...all my flight details and information are in one place, I am informed of flight changes, etc. I also value the fact that the author is quick to respond to emails to fix bugs, provide assistance, etc. A very helpful utility for a frequent traveler!

Works great. Use this all the time to track flights, very accurate!

0 stars. This app is horrible. It costs $10 and doesn't even tell you if your flight is cancelled. We almost drove a whole 2 hours to the airport thinking our flight was still going until we checked the airline website and saw that the flight was cancelled. Don't waste your money.

It does the job. At first wasn't sure but after several trips I got to like it

Subscription now required for >5 flights / month. I bought this app a couple years ago when my previous go-to shut down. I later upgraded to the Pro version. Recently, the app started limiting the flights being tracked or having been tracked in a month to five without a subscription. I may end up where I started, but I’m not starting down the subscription trail without looking at options.

Excellent app. Been using this app for years, and it's always given me the information I need when I need it. Sometimes it even tells me flight or gate changes before I see them on the boards. Easy to understand and easy to use. Thank you!

Airline Pilot. From an airline pilot’s point of view this is the best Airline app available. You can check anything that involves your flight. More importantly you can check the flight that’s inbound to your gate. This is the only app that has that feature. I use this app exclusively to keep track of my flights daily.

Developer removes features without notice. This developer is not trustworthy. They continually remove features that were once included in the app for free. Flight status notifications were once free, then a year later they started charging for them. Now with the recent update in July 2019, they removed the option to have more than 5 flights in the app at once. It automatically deleted a bunch of my stored flights without any notice. No warning in the update. Avoid this app and developer!

My favorite flight tracker. I’ve used this app for years now and it’s better than any other flight tracker I’ve tried. I love the clean interface, how I can add multiple flights to each trip and how all the info is displayed. I usually get the updates faster here than I do directly from the airline.

Used to be a great app. I’ve used this app since 2010 and it is great for a frequent like me. I understand from the other reviews why they must now charge and I am willing to pay, but the current price structure and seemingly arbitrary flight deletion are terrible. I’ve made several subscription purchases only to then just have those flights disappear. I’ll pay (to a point) but not pay over and over again for the same exact flight. Unless the app owners make a change soon, this app will die of natural causes.

Mary. Love this app. I’ve been using it for over 5 yrs. It has everything I need. But yesterday I opened it and all my data was gone and it wouldn’t let me input anything. Today I opened it on my iPad thru the App Store and I was able to rebuild some of my records but the 4hrs of history is gone. Please help. I use this app everyday, all day

Paid for push info initially, now they want more. I bought this app because it syncs with TripIt and also because it upgraded flight information. No longer. Now without paying an additional monthly fee, the information is not accurate. I tried tracking a flight from Paris. Would not give me the real time was. Was waiting to leave for the airport when my family member called to tell me the flight had already arrived. I suggest buying other software if you don't intend to pay the monthly fee.

The most reliable. Been using it since it first became available many years ago. Consistently has best and correct updates that even airline site is giving incorrect or different information. Have many travel apps that don't list flights that obviously are available. No site is 100% perfect but this comes the closest of all being so.

In the k-now.. I’ve been using this app for many years and it has been very helpful especially when tracking loved ones flights. So nice to have all the gate info and the map view to track the flights is cool.

Great app. In a time when the airlines are not good about updating their passengers about delays or cancellations, this app consistently delivers information about flight complications in time to be able to do something about it. This is my essential travel companion.

Was good until.... The app is a great replacement to the Flight Track app. Works well in general. There are some flights where the information got erased - doesn't show status of flight. Not sure when the monthly fee was introduced for push notification, but it seems like it started with version 7.00. There is no mention of it in the notes when you update apps. I don't mind paying for an app, but the monthly fee subscription model for this particular service is shameful.

They Got Me :(. I saw on the website that this program had cut its price for the first time in years, and I read all the reviews stating how great it was to have notifications from the program. Imagine my surprise when as soon as you open the program it tells you that it will no longer give notifications unless you pay $1.50 per month. I understand now why the program cost half as much. It’s worth a quarter of what it used to be.

Great App!!!!!. This is a great app. It is fun to watch your loved ones flying by using the map. This is especially good when they are flying overseas. I use this all the time for knowing what gate the flight is and if it is on time. Buy this one - you will love it.

Great app. I used to use flight track pro for my business and personal use to log all of my flights. I downloaded over 10 different app until I found ''tis app and I like it even more than flight track pro

Nice Flight Tracking Tool. Flight Update Pro does a great job tracking flights and status. I can easily follow status, set alerts, and organize/share travel. I often add family member flights as well. For more complex travel, I use TripIt pro (includes hotels, rental cars, etc), and I really appreciate that the two tools synch.

Cash Grab for a mediocre App. I have been using this app for years. Paid for a lifetime subscription and suddenly I no longer have access. The developer is doing a cash grab and killing previous licenses. This app isn’t good enough to warrant additional expense. I just used it out of familiarity and will just as easily go to google and get updates. Considering often times this apps data is out of date and useless I will probably be happier in the long run. Don’t waste your money unless you want to throw good money after bad when they decide their profits aren’t high enough. Good riddance.

Flight information. I’ve used this great and accurate app for several years. It is as good or better than advertised. As I keep using this the better the information I use. Each year it is better but hard to believe that it could improve over performance. It’s perfect

Pay once and now pay again...🤯. I have used this app for several years as a commuting pilot. It has been my go to and have highly recommended it to others in my base. The latest update of paying for greater than 5 flights in a month is ridiculous. I will use 5-10 flights per commute day to see options and delays. Tomorrow I go to work and have unknowingly tracked my limit. Unacceptable for a service and app I already paid for. I have already started letting other crews know to avoid this app unless there is a fix in the works.

The best. I—like many—were disappointed when an app I paid for several years ago all of a sudden changed to pretty much requiring a monthly subscription. BUT, I read some bad reviews and the app owner’s honest responses. And the reason for the change makes total sense. And because this app is so great I’m more than happy to pay <$25/year to be able to use this amazing tool. So thank you!

Deleted flights. I purchased this app a few years ago and have used it for approximately one flight a month. However, next month I have more flights than normal. I just went into the app to check on the flights I had already entered and saw they were deleted. So now the app that I willingly paid for, has changed their model and is requiring additional fees to see the flights I already entered. I get they have a good app, but to change their business model to a subscription based model without notice is very poor management. I’m now looking into alternatives.

Its a must. It’s cliche’ at this point to say it, but the app is truely a must have for the casual traveler as well as the power road warrior. How many times did the app give me warning of delays, change gate and other common craziness when flying. It even helped picking up loved ones from the airport. Quick, accurate info get you where you need faster

Betrayed all those that bought in earlier. Always loved this program and after trying the free version, bought the full version only to support the author. I'm not a heavy user, a few flights a month, but now even that barks at me and want me to spend a stupid amount on lookups. I feel betrayed by the developer. He could have sunset this version while letting all the people that have already paid him continue using the product while developing a new version and different version with some new features and a subscription model. If older paid users want the new features they could migrate and pay. Other apps have found a way to continue offering flight tracking through one time fees or ads. Bummed because I've loved this program and evangelize it to everyone I know, who also purchased the app. Now we all feel betrayed.

Keep wanting more money. Bought this app years ago. One day it wasn’t downloading data. Found out you had to buy their new app because “prices to get data” had gone up. Was upset but decided to go ahead and buy the new app. Now after a year or too they are at it again. They say prices are high for data so we need to pay for a subscription! Not cool! I have never rated an app but today I shall: one star for price creep. I understand people need to make money but this just isn’t good business.

Bait and switch — beware!. I don’t like it when developers make drastic changes with no notice to their customers. All of a sudden the developers are offering subscription plans that charge per flight “tracked”, but it’s just a money grab and now if you change flights or compare flights you are getting charged. What a corruption of what used to be a decent app. Fortunately, there are lots of flight tracker options out there now so don’t overrely on dated reviews of this one from when it was one of the only games in town. Keep looking and you’ll find something better!

How chinchy can you get?. Very tricky tack to charge extra for more than five flights a month after paying for the original app. You are very greedy to force a subscription in order to add extra flights. It certainly doesn’t cost you any more since you get it off airline websites.

Helpful app. I still use the apps for the specific airlines I fly on, but I love using this app so I can have all my or other’s upcoming flights on one page and get push notifications as to the status of the flight. I like being able to track flights on the map.

MUST-HAVE APP. It’s extremely rare that I “buy” an app, BUT this one is totally worth it! Up-to-the-minute updates to your flights. Honestly as soon as an airline makes a change … this app updates the info immediately. It is so dependable. If you air travel, YOU NEED THIS APP!

Great great service. I have been using Flight Tracker for awhile and all of a sudden my alerts stopped. Their customer service and responsiveness was nothing short of legendary! I sent a message, got a response and then they followed thru with me for a flight my daughter was taking. Worked perfectly. Gotta give them a BIG 5 stars!

Revised: Doesn't work to - the best app ever!!!. The insta flight feature crashes the app. This is the one that I need the most. An update was finally provided and it still doesn't work. There was an update that improved this apps function by 1000%. The developers listened and fixed the problems. This is now my go to app. I'm soooo happy😁😁😁

Another Subscription Service. This used to be the perfect travel app. I used this app to track my flights traveling around the world. Now they have updated it to where you have pay monthly to get push notifications. This was previously included in the original price that I paid for the app. Additionally, there doesn’t seem to be the long list of international airlines available as there were previously. I’m deleting and looking for a new app.

Excellent App!. My husband and I are frequent travelers, both domestic and internationally. This flight app is the best out there for flight and gate details. It's particularly useful when we are getting others at the airport or if we fly separately. It cost more than I've ever spent on an app (but after the sticker shock wore off) but the functionality and ease of use makes it worth every penny.

Excellent. The best there is. I have been using this app for several years as a frequent flyer. The interface is easy, the information usually very accurate. An app this complex must be difficult to maintain functional and useful. Definitive. No better app for keeping me organized.

Love this app - my #1 recommended travel app. I travel a lot and this app is indispensable. I love that it tells you the gates so you can quickly figure out where you are coming in and where you need to run too. The airport maps are a big help too. Also helpful if my flight connection goes south and I need to figure out a new flight on the fly.

Pretty great app for road managers. 👍🏼. I use this app to track multiple flights of everyone I’m traveling with on travel days. It alerts me when anyone has issues with their flights, and I can shoot them a text to see how to handle travel “hiccups”. This app will populate your Gate info for departures and arrivals too 👍🏼

Monthly fee not worth it. I paid for this app awhile ago and found it well worth the money. Now they charge extra every month if you want push notification s. Okay, if it saves me from a missed flight it is worth it. so I agreed to this additional fee. My flight this past week was first delayed then a gate change and time changed back to the original departure. I did not receive one notification from this app. The airline app sent me several messages. They had a test and failed.

BAD MOVE. Almost a 5 star developer goes for the $ rather than keeping to the original agreement that there would be no ongoing fees. This was an expensive app ($10). but, in exchange for that high price was supposed to be a one time purchase and a great app. I should have seen this coming when the developer started to charge for push updates, something I tried but found unreliable. It will be interesting to watch this products rating go from first to worst, and all just to make even more $ than we already had to give them. BAD MOVE DEVELOPER!!!

New review: Now you charge for push notifications :(((Good App - Incomplete features. When I first paid for this app, I got push notifications included in the price. Now you’ve ‘upgraded’ and I have to have a paid subscription for that. You can get the same info in TripIt for free or pay for notifications. What pay for this app?? Don’t do it!! When I link this app to TripIt, it allows me to download past trips...BUT only for 2014. I want all my Tripit info for ALL years! If it can't get the data from Tripit, then it should sync with the iPhone app. I have this app on my iPhone and the data is different. Shouldn't it sync? It is a 'PRO' app!?

BEST TRAVEL APP. I've used or tried them all. Friends constantly ask me to help them find flights. For setting up trips and checking them regularly, I love this app. Update: really helps me find flights in trips that have either been changed or the flightnumber is no longer valid. This app is a lifesaver. Be sure and spend a couple of bux and buy the Pro Version. It's well worth it ! UPDATE: September 21, 2018 Recently my wife received an update email from Transavia-France that her flight on January 1, 2019 had been changed. The flight, TO4090, originally left Orly at 1215, and now has been changed to 1140 for the 2 hour flight to Vienna. I tried to change it in the app but the app still shows the previous departure time of 1215 ! Please resolve this issue ! Thanx

Recent change makes this much less useful.. Has changed to where can only track 5 flights a month without paying a monthly fee. Unfortunately if your flight number changes that counts as 2 right there and you can longer see your flights. I have not been able to use this recently because of the rapidly changing flight schedules.

Best flight app!. After testing everything I could find, Flight Update Pro is the best. It's TripIt integration is solid, and the user interface is easy to understand and use. Most importantly, it's the most accurate app with full information about all flight details, aircraft, weather, airport terminals, etc. And the app author is super responsive. I would give it 6 stars if I could!

Nice app for travel.. I travel a lot for work and use this as it is up to date to what the airport boards say. I know before I get off my plane which gate to go to for my connection. If a flight I am waiting for is late I can see where the flight coming to my gate is and it’s status instead of bothering the gate staff or waiting in line.

Keep all your trips info in one place!. Love this app! Get flight updates as you go or check on your friends and family members’ trips, so you can drop them off or pick them up at the right terminals, at the right times. Oh, and did I mention that you can keep a record of all your trips in one place? Sweet!!

Well done!. I had loved this app, then suddenly had trouble and was disappointed. I gave a low rating and immediately heard from the creator to see how to solve my problems--which was impressive! All was resolved, and all working well. It's great to be able to use a good app and also know those maintaining really care about the customer!!

Inaccurate Flight Delay Info. On 8 Nov 2018 I flew on AA 5582 from Charlotte to Shreveport. The App notified me my flight was delayed over an hour. I went to the gate to confirm. My flight was not delayed and took off on time. When I took off, the App was still showing it was delayed. If I had relied on the App and stopped to eat at the airport, I would have missed my flight. This is the first time it has been inaccurate though.

Excellent Flight Application. Before writing reviews on applications I attempt to us the software over a period of time and, with this Flight Application, various locations. This is a first-class work of software development and implementation. It works and does exactly what a flight app is suppose to do without issues or gimmicks. Excellent - Highly recommended.

Great App, keeps me up to date while Traveling!. I am a big fan of Flight Update Pro, it keeps me updated on changes is flight status. I also use the app to track of family members when they are visiting and/or traveling. I really appreciate the constant updates and the amount of data that can be stored in each record. Great App!!

New Subscription Addition. I have been using this app for 10 years since I left for Basic Training in 2010 and I paid $9.99 for this. It has been the best app for tracking my trips. Now, I have to pay for a subscription to use this app, because I’m stationed at a small base and I have to take 6 trips round trip to go anywhere. I am very disappointed that this app has moved to subscriptions, my whole family will no longer be using the app and we will find something different. Nice power move guys, greed can make a company or app fail.

Flights only viewable separately, not on trips I’d set them in. In the last few weeks the app has taken all of the flights I entered in individual future trips and only made them viewable as flights. The trips I entered them as part of are now gone and it shows I now have no future trips, just future flight Frustrating that I’m paying 4.99 a month for such a wonky app, my delta app and southwest app may be doing the job on their own very soon if quality doesn’t improve and pricing becomes more reasonable Is a handy tool but just not feeling it’s worth the price anymore

Southwest Flight Data Incorrect or Missing. For the last month or so many of the Southwest flights are incorrect or missing. I’m paying a premium price I expect a product that gets correct data. I’ve been using this app for the last few years and it’s great but the recent cost increase to track flights appears kind of steep and no discount is given when you increase the package size.
