Great customer service. I was having trouble with the app and reached out to get refund. The developer himself contacted me and personally helped to fix the issue. I was impressed by his commitment to help me even though I only paid a few dollars for his app. I recommend using this app because not only does it work but the developer has great praxis!

Great support and product. I’ve been using this for a few years to save texts to a Windows PC. I recently converted to a Mac and had a problem. I contacted support and got a quick response. Turns out that (as usual) it was my error not the app. Was very pleased to know that there is friendly support available if I need it! Definitely recommended!

Best download text app. Love this app. I have been using it for the past 4 years. Paid $4.99 once. Can't believe how cheap it is for what you are getting! The app loads easily onto your desktop and then works perfectly. Very user friendly. No problems, ever. The only thing it doesn't do is download pictures that were sent via text. I have seen some text apps that download pictures in color. It does download emojis though. Before you download to desktop, you can select what text messages you want and the dates. Downloads into Excel, which makes it even easier to sort info later. Really awesome app, I recommend it for sure.

Amateur. Wanted to save iMessage history when setting up new iPhone…Content transfer from iPhone to iPhone was very good, saved contacts, photos, etc. but not messages…..SMS Export was the answer, easy to use, not expensive, and as I am not a computer whiz, the prompt response from their support helped me over a simple hurdle….Turned out to be a great choice, thanks to SMS Export...

Works great once it’s set up. As others have set, there are some initial setup steps to do before you can export messages with this product. But for me at least, the steps were pretty easy to follow without any problems, and once I got it set up, I was able to export messages very conveniently. I had previously purchased another service for this that just couldn’t handle the size of some text conversations and would crash, but as far as I could tell, this app didn’t have any issues like that. Great product, if you don’t mind a little extra setup.

A little confusing but it works. Having lost my partner and getting a new phone, I needed a way of documenting our time together and not letting it go. This app was a savior that made my day and break down into tears once i succeeded. If you follow the steps, it works! Tho I ran into a couple hiccups, but emailed the company to get a response within 24 hours, which they included screen grabs and a better description as to what I was missing. Only thing I would suggest is letting the user know, to go into settings and allowing the app to do its thing. This was told to me later and had that been stated I never would of bothered the developer. But it’s all good, cause they did help, they wanted to help and I am 100% satisfied with getting the results I wanted for $5, as a posed to similar apps charging 50$+. Thank you for developing this app, thank you for the affordability and thank you for being an actual human who replies to clients concerns.

Great product. This product did exactly what I wanted. I was able to download any and all of my text and iMessages from my iPhone. At one point I needd information from the vendor and they responded quickly with an answer to my question. Overall this is a great product and great customer service.

Had issues but is fixed!!. I had issues with not all messages showing up that I had sent. I reached out to the developer and he worked with me to get it back working. I am so glad because I use this app for messages that I need to have reviewed by my attorney and the court system. Very nice app. Thank you so much for getting it fixed for us!!

Give credit where it’s due. This app does just what it says it does *(and if you see the verified ownership this one certifies as opposed to the other copy cat apps taking credit with no certification of ownership)* This just literally extracted 4 years of texts messages that I’d thought I’d never get off of my phone for a legal matter. what the heck is wrong with Apple? iMessage isn’t so convenient when you need to copy and paste an entire thread of texts to and from and if you’ve restored from a certain point your back up is set to the most recent date! How does that help in any which way???! You can’t download old iMessages either so I have to give this app, the true certified one via Apple, 5 stars because of its simplistic and easy to use step by step guide and the fair price in which is listed for not like those other apps where you’re required to have a MAC and also pay upwards of $50 to do just what this does for $7! Thank you!!!!!!

Excellent!. This was simple to use, unbelievably quick, and made the data easy to sort & filter. For $5, this was an unbelievable value for the information I needed to have. For the people that left negative reviews, read the directions! It tells you what to do and what it is for. The developers can't help it if you can't read...

Good app, did the job. Update- had to use it again after a few years. Got stuck but emailed and received help, got it working. This is a great app for exporting text messages and the developer is very helpful I found this app on a google search and decided even to try it even though it was a bit more than I wanted to pay for it. I had difficulty working it but emailed for help and received a speedy reply and a link to a helpful video. I recommend this app if looking to export SMS messages.

iPhone sms export. I have had this app for a while and any time I’ve ever had issues the developer has contacted me almost immediately and gave me correct direction this is a great app and the developer pays attention to his customer needs and will will assist you immediately!

Excellent app and just what I needed. Took only moments to set up to start using. Had very small glitch (my fault) where it took a few minutes for my Mac Desktop copy to show as Registered User so I could export my file of all my messages. I did contact support and they replied promptly. Actually I had found the solution within minutes of asking for help (I just quit and re-opened my Mac desktop copy of SMSExport - duh!), but I was impressed how quickly they responded, and on a Friday evening besides. Very happy with this app!

It works! Easy.. It works great. Downloads all your text messages. Saves as Excel or many other formats. Can sort by number, date or other choices. Customer service is excellent.

SMSExport. Had a little trouble with technical issues but once I figured it out it was super easy and fast! Great way to save texts for any reason. Had to email the support team a few times (I'm the least tech savoy person) and they were very nice and helpful!

Awesome App!. Love being able to download text messages when needed for backup! Customer service responded to my email questions immediately!

Works as advertised. I bought the app, followed its directions, including installing its desktop app on my MacBook, and it worked on the first try. I was able to export into a text file and a spreadsheet on my Mac a seven-year-long SMS conversation that existed only on my iPhone, Including message timestamps etc. I could find no other, or more convenient, way to do this. The other apps out there want you to stitch screenshots - yeah right. The filtering capabilities in the desktop app were very helpful, and I liked the choice of export formats. I had a bit of a hassle turning off encrypted iPhone backups in iTunes, but that’s not the app’s fault. The only reason I don’t give the app five stars is because it could use a little UI and documentation polish, and maybe be free :) But it got the job done, and done well, in straightforward fashion.

Does just what it says.. You have to install it on your phone, on iTunes on your PC, and download their application for the PC. Once you do this, it works exactly as they said it would. I searched for a while trying to find something to transfer my SMS files ok my phone to my PC and all the apps were $30 but this one did it for $5. Also, I had difficulty with it recognizing that I purchased the app at first. I emailed the support staff and they responded in 53 minutes with a solution that helped me get past my problem. I would definitely recommend this app if you are looking for a cheap way to get you texts from you phone to your computer. This won't be the prettiest looking app you work with and it may take a little extra work to set up by it gets the job done.

Exactly as claimed. Not much more to say - lets you export text messages, even those no longer visible on your phone. One caveat- your backup must not be encrypted. If you're really security conscious, you can go back to encrypted backups afterwards and erase the unencrypted one.

Has saved me for decades. Great computer App and Customer Service. Everyone needs to export their text messages because you never know what can happen.

Couldn’t get it to work. After trying to get this to work for hours I gave up. I had to make 47 screen shots of my sms screens. I would have paid 10x your asking price to have made this easier. There has to be an easier way than trying to back up the data to my laptop then running an app on my laptop. I’m requesting a refund.

Excellent support!. I downloaded without reading the entire description. My iPhone backup is forced to be encrypted and SMS export would not work for me. I contacted them and they promptly refunded my purchase.

Quick Customer Service. The app works great, I was able to clear almost 2,000 texts from a significant relationship off my phone. I had a bit of trouble setting up the download on my computer. Emailed support and received a reply within an hour that resolved my issue. Very pleased!

Exactly as promised!. Wanted to save sentimental texts from my old phone, so I downloaded SMS Export and it worked like a charm. Had a little user error glitch (reading the steps before jumping in would've been helpful) and customer service was super responsive and immediately solved the problem I created. Definitely recommend!

Kinda bummed. I was kinda bummed about this. All the reviews were good but I downloaded and followed all directions but the sms exports I did were only for incoming texts and not outgoing... which kind of defeats the purpose of trying to transfer a sms conversation. I even chatted with customer support who couldn’t help, and tried to export texts in many different forms (both sent and received, sent only, received only) nothing worked and allowed me to export a full conversation. So kinda bummed I wasted $5!

It doesn’t work at all and I followed the directions exactly. I wish I could get a refund. I download this on my phone I download it on my computer I made sure my phone was synced up with iTunes and I followed all of the instructions that this app told me to do but when I open SMS it says it cannot locate SMS files and I need to sync my iPhone. But my iPhone is synced so there’s nothing else I can do. I have tried about 20 times at this point and I cannot make this work. I’m just sad that I wasted five dollars.

This app has never failed me. Just do what it says and you’re fine. It’s not difficult to follow along. I think they made the app as simple as possible. I have been using it for many years. Only in my iPhone tho. It does what it says. I have never needed anything else. And yes I paid for it. No regrets.

Love this app!. I've been using this app for years and love it!!! I had not used it since the new version was released and I ran into a snag (operator error, I would imagine) but, technical support walked me through it and got me up and running!!

Doesn’t work. I bought this app and installed the software on my computer. I had to email the app developer to figure out what the secret word was. I tried it with the secret word and the program on my laptop keeps telling me that I need to sync the phone to iTunes as there’s no information in the database; this kept happening even after I synced the phone several times. This is just another low quality app that doesn’t work, and it should be removed from the App Store.

Great tool. Real simple. Exported 30,000 text messages within seconds. I had to email support as I gotten a new phone, response same day with very clear directions.

Fabrizio Farenga. I just want to say that he went above and beyond with technical support. I am not tech savvy at all. He logged into my computer and got it all set up for me. Thank you so much. He is truly what customer service is about. This app also did exactly what it states.

Requires backup to iTunes. Waste of money. Very few people back up their iPhones to their computer as the iPhone now has a huge storage capacity, and it’s MUCH more efficient to backup to iCloud. If you back up to iCloud and are unable to back up to your computer due to not having a hundred gigs of available space on it, you cannot use this app. And by the way, this is not an actual phone app. The “app” is just a single page with instructions on how to use the free desktop app. You can activate the desktop app just by entering the first word found on the phone “app” info screen. Anyone can just enter that word, which is “QUICK” to activate the free desktop app. Useless...

DOES NOT WORK WASTE OF MONEY. I did everything followed the directions to a T like 5 times. It never would show my texts on the program on the computer. It really screwed me over I was depending on this for turning text conversations into the court and what do ya know last minute after this crap program did absolutely NOTHING! I had to download and buy a $50 program on the computer that actually did work!!

Text messages export. This is a fantastic software for exporting text messages! Support was quick and now I have the text messages for my attorney! Highly Recommend this!

Unbelievable app!. This app saved my bacon!! I needed an app to track conversations my ex sent to other men and to me before my divorce and after my separation for divorce. It was those texts among a few other things that allowed me to gain primarily custody of my kids! Great app, I'd suggest it to everyone.

Worked well. SMS export allowed me to effortlessly backup my SMS text messages every time I back up my Iphone. Nice app. I read some other reviews.... you just have to download the app and Itunes will recognize you paid for it and turn off the trial version. Cheers.

User friendly. I’ve used other apps that do the same thing, this one is by far more user friendly and I don’t need to go back to the FAQs to try to figure out how to export my texts. Well worth the $4.99. As long as you follow the directions of downloading then it’s very simple. I like how you can choose the contact, date ranges, how to sort them, and what kind of file to save as. PDF is not an option but I exported as HTML then from there exported as a PDF from my Mac. Would definitely recommend!

Works great. I just exported 12 years worth of text messages, over 100,000 messages ! I did have a great experience with their prompt customer service - I thought it wasn’t working - it was - just taking awhile with the quantity I was working with. I’m in the RE biz and it’s a great transaction record tool!

Easy to use. Had it up and running in five minutes. Easy to download the app to your iPhone, and the online program download to your PC. The program on your PC finds the messages in itunes, and creates a convenient list that can be organized by name/number. Can then save as a HTML file which can be opened up with Internet explorer to see the messages; this file can be copied and back up'd anywhere – – – flash drive, hard drive etc. Also can save as a Microsoft Excel file which works great if you have Microsoft office, very convenient lay out of a message conversation "line by line" This is much easier to set up that I would've thought, based on searching for different ways to get the messages to PC

Some features wish it could do. I downloaded the app to be able to print and keep a copy of conversations thru text. The only thing I do not like about this app is it does not download images sent thru the text like photos attached to the text message.

excellent app!!!!. My wife passed away recently and I was very nervous that I would not be able to save all her text messages...expecially to me. This software was easy to use and worked exactly as expected and I was able to download all the text messages from her iPhone and iPad. Anyone wanting to extract all text messages from your iPhone...well I would HIGHLY recommend this app. Just a Note: I was having problems getting the export button to work but I sent an email to the support team and got an answer in less than 24 hrs. I used the desktop app on a Windows 10 PC and it worked perfectly.

Perfect App For What I Needed. I needed to download a conversation that I had into a format where I can sort and edit. I checked out several apps but this was the only one that actually did that. The programmer, Patrizio, was very helpful. Definitely a good buy.

I returned. I purchased this app through the iPhone. The app advertises itself that you can export texts through your phone, but this is not true, you have to download software to your computer as well and sync your phone with it. You should just be able to export the file via pdf from your phone and email it to yourself, but it doesn't let you do that. Very dissappointing. I will return.

Great app. Needed to find something in a text from about a year ago, and I didn’t want to scroll through 20,000 texts looking for it. This app basically gave me a text file with the date of every text and I was able to find what I was looking for in minutes rather than scrolling back for hours on end looking for it. Great app

Easy to use and great support. I've been using this app since 2014 with very minor issues that have always been resolved quickly. Easy to export to Excel for sorting and other formats just for preserving your text history. I tried several others but this app does just what you need quickly and easily.

Great!. This app is great! Thanks so much that somebody has finally made an app that backs up your messages. I reserved the fifth star just in case the developers can now improve its interface by making it more user friendly - say, by easily viewing, sorting and searching messages in real time. Then it would REALLY be a killer app!

Lazy App Store sneaky developer?. The App Store states this developer is required to provide details related to privacy when they update the next version of their app in the App Store. This is a very misleading statement by the App Store to customers. The version of the app for sale has not been updated in years, in fact it’s not an App at all. After I bought it and opened it, just a page directing me to the website to down load the latest version. The website is just as vague, but most notably there is no privacy statement of assurance there either. What’s more troubling is the App Store page where this app is for sale - the develop states “now compatible with IOS 16” Isn’t information by definition stating the app has been updated??? Why isn’t the App Store across this underhanded ploy to avoid providing customers with a privacy statement? It is an incredible failure by the App Store given that to use the app, the provider requires users allow their app full unconditional access to all a users data! See for yourselves - it’s right there in the instructions! There are no means of identifying the developer at all! If after using this app my data is at risk or has been compromised, be assured I will name Apple as vicariously liable in my law suit for damages and consequential loss. Note I have logged a copy of this report as an issue with Apple… let’s see what happens next, perhaps a class action 🤷🏼‍♂️

Great App To Save SMS Histories. I exported sms histories in excel format text format and html format. Worked really well and is going to save me a lot of time preparing these histories as evidence for a legal dispute. A great investment and worth the purchase

The best of a bad lot. It seemed to be impossible to find a sensible way to transfer your text messages to a computer - I'd been searching for the last few hours and had nearly scratched my eyes out in frustration. Then I found this - and it's the only one available that works (for a PC, at least). The format that it exports the messages in is annoying (especially when I've become accustomed to the clean 'conversation/chat' method of grouping messages that my iPhone uses). Once this app. exports your messages, they appear in a long table, listed separately. Also, the app. claims to be able to export MMS... but it cannot. However, this is the only application that I've come across to actually export your messages successfully at all. So for that I'm grateful. If you need to transfer your SMSes, this is literally the only app. for PCs that can do it.

Three years of texts ..no problem!. Very happy! I needed to get a copy of all texts between myself and another party for legal mediation. To my (pleasant) surprise, this app extracted every text sent or received to my phone over the last three years (6,000 of them!). Export is very simple. Sorting and filtering is also simple. Now I have all of the facts, figures and details I need for mediation. This strengthens the possibility of settlement, and avoiding costly litigation. Very cool. Thanks!

This is awesome!. My man inadvertently deleted his stream of sms with me - we both had all messages sent to each other since we met 10.5 months ago. So instead of paying $40+ for software to retrieve it, best thing was for me to export my sms in case I deleted mine! There are a lot of apps out there that just simply don't work. Once I got through the hump of software not recognising the app downloaded, which was easily dealt with following the instructions from their website, it was a piece of cake. All 10,794 sms exported 👍🏼highly recommend this app. It would be great if the software could be developed further to export mms.

Excellent App. I have been using SMS Export successfully for around 5 years. It is simple to use and allows messages to be archived in various formats. Can save individual conversations or groups to suit your filing structure requirements. Very handy to secure this information somewhere other than your phone. Had one occasion recently where tech support needed, response was quickly received with clear instructions to resolve my issue. Definitely worth the five bucks I paid for this app - very reliable and highly recommended.

Great. this was just what I needed. It was a little slow to connect and read the text messages and I thought, at first, that it was not working. My advice just wait for the texts to load onto the screen and then it works seamlessly

Waste of money for Mac users. Tells you to download software to your Mac and connect you device to it. Software is out of date and does not work on Mac. $8 spent for no result

So glad I bought it - perfect result.. I was able to do exactly what I wanted to do by buying this app: and that was to download my text messages to my PC, that were to and/or from all or certain people and to be able to easily and quickly keep this information in a spreadsheet. You need to follow the instructions written on the App's iTunes page, and follow instructions on the corresponding website - exactly - which I did - and got a perfect result. You don't need to interact with the actual loaded app on your iphone, as you might think - just read and follow the short procedure the developer has provided. Once in the computer program, after having imported the message data, I exported it as a .csv file - this file type meant that I was able to easily upload the data to Google Docs and save it off as a working Google Spreadsheet. Exactly what I wanted. Great stuff. Thank you!

Guarantee this ap. AWESOME application. I read the reviews before I downloaded the application and was a little weiry though once I read the download instructions and followed them, I am so happy with the ap. I have recently been involved in a sticky situation, which involved legal issues, and was able to upload all my sms messages from my IPhone, which has helped me hugeley. Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.

Perfect!!. This app works a treat and the product support is fantastic. I wrote seeking advice and within a couple of hours was getting one on one assistance. I was able to extract and save exactly what I wanted in no time at all.

Just what I need. Need to download messages for the past few months, after a standard backup, SMS Export automatically detects SMS history and you can filter by contacts/number to export to excel. The export file includes every details, whether you sent or received the message, the date and time you sent/received and of course the full contents of your texts. The app is super easy to use.

Ms. This app worked exactly as it stated. Downloaded over 34,000 texts in a few seconds. Exported them as HTML as a complete set, and by specific number. Can order these by date and number to be saved as a range of easily accessible files. Absolute value for money.

Does not work without ITUNES. For later models of iphones or mac this application does not work. ITUNES no longer exists and has been replaced with Apple Music.

Drewk. Feel like I wasted my money. Downloaded the app and fired it up, only to be presented with a list of instructions to download another piece of software for the mac, and adjust a whole bunch of privacy and synchronisation settings, which I wasn't going to do. Felt like the complexity of using this app was misrepresented on the App Store.

great app, great support. I successfully used this app to ensure I could retain some special text exchanges for the future. Initially I had a problem and emailed the maker, however in the end I worked out that the problem was with my new computer, not with the app. None the less Fabrizio had already replied to ensure that all his links were working and to try and assist me in this. Very impressed with both the app and the service. Thanks

Great Ap. This is the cheapest way to save your texts to your computer and the easiest. I am able to have all my texts saved as a back up and when I emailed for support I got a reply in less then 24 hours and my question was answered exactly. Recommend this to anyone

Most useful app on my phone. This app is so simple to use and does exactly what it says its going to do. Copies all your text messages across to your computer (in my case an iMac). Follow the instructions on the website and you can't go wrong. I just wish I had found this app before I deleted a few thousand messages.

Fabrizio Farenga - Is Most Helpful. I was recommended this App. by friends who swore by its functionality and ease of use as the best app for SMS Export on the market. Unfortunately in my eagerness to install I did not read the requirements that the "Encryption for Backups" be DISABLED, and given my company enforces this to be enabled on our devices I could not use the App, however Fabrizio Developments was kind enough to quickly diagnose the problem and refund me the app. fee, looking at how well the app works on iPhones with Encrypted Backups DISABLED I can definitely recommend it.

It actually works - very well!. Hi - I have to say I was cynical about whether this app would work. However when I used it the product extracted over 36,000 texts in less than 20 seconds, dropping them into an excel spreadsheet. What surprised me was that i had upgraded to an iPhone 6 last year, but the app extracted texts all the way back to 2011, and included all the iMessenger messages etc. Ok it doesn't do photos, but it has been invaluable collecting evidence for a court case to recover my children after they were kidnapped by my ex. I cannot recommend this app highly enough.

Wtf. What the heck did I just pay for?! The entire app is 3 buttons: -Send new SMS from inside the app -A counter for how many times you did that -And send a report about how many times you did that What. The. Crap.

Awesome customer service!!. I debated buying this product as I have bought other apps that were worthless. The customer service reviews changed my mind. Sure enough, I made a dumb mistake and couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the app to work. U sent off a quick email and got a reply to my problem the very next morning. This app works great and, despite MY mistake, I found this super easy to use. A great app!!!! Well worth the money!!

This app does what it claims. This app does what it claims, allows you to print text messages. Read and follow the instructions and it works well. Test your pc first.

Work with iTunes. iTunes doesn’t exist anymore since 2020 on my Mac. It has been replaced. I’m asking a refund.

Excellent app - work as expected. I use it to print all my SMS - follow the instructions provided and it works as described. Then, you will have to export the data in Excel to improve the layout.

All I get is the Quick User Guide.. Can't get it to work on OS X 10.11.6 / IOS 9.3.3 The Export button stays gray. The Mac version tells me I have to purchase the iPhone version, even though I already have. The iPhone version does nothing but show me the user guide, which I followed. Wasted C$$7.90 and some of my time. Less than worthless unless it gets sorted.

Excelleent legal tool. This app is awesome. I use it all the time for legal cases where texts can be shown as exhibits. It will list all texts as they came in isolate a conversation even track by date, Just a super app, The maker of the app reponds quickly to quiries and offers free remote assistance if you cant get it to work, Great customer service, If you need to print a text then this is the App for you.

SMS export is a rip off. I really wanted to export a few sms conversations so I downloaded and bought this app. Funny thing you buy it, then you have to buy an upgrade, A month later I went to download another conversation. Same trick, I had to repurchase it both on my computer and on my iPhone. Fifty dollars plus. I feel so stupid buying this piece of garbage

Seulement 28 messages importé. J’ai acheté le produit en passant imprimer la conversation mais lorsque j’importe le fichier du contact en choisissant une telle date a une telle date il n’y a que 28 fichiers pour ces dates qui sortent et le plus étrange dans tous ça c’est que que c’est seulement les textes entrant SAUF mon dernier message que je lui ai envoyé ... J’ai aussi essayé de rétrécir ou agrandir ma plage de recherche et il ne sort qu’un seul texte sortant et c’est le dernier message pourquoi ???

Now this is the one!. I paid and downloaded two cheaper apps prior to this one that didn't work at all. I should have just paid the price for this one first. This exports texts to my computer with full date, phone number, to and from. Awesome app. Thx!

don’t download, wast of $$. I downloaded this to my MacBook Pro today, it won’t open, I get a pop up stating it is not supported by my type of Mac!!!! WTF??

SMS export.. It's a good app works fast and very easy to use. But I thought I hope they update it with features such as backing-up picture messages or videos. That would really make this app the perfect SMS back-up app.

Works perfectly. Easy two step process to download all SMS and iMessages to my computer. Simple and worked first time, just follow the instructions.

It Works!. Follow the instructions, and it works great! The YouTube video really helped. Worth what I spent.

Export Function Does Not Work!. Followed the instructions exactly and still the export button is greyed out. Now I am out $5.99! I really need this to work for personal reasons in a possible future court case. I can't express how urgent this is. I emailed and still haven't received a response.

Great Software. The app does nothing. When you purchase the app your purchasing the windows/Mac software. Download the app Download the windows/Mac software Backup your device on iTunes (no encryption) Go to software and import from iTunes Export in excel and other formats. (Export button does not show unless you purchase the app) The excel document shows the send and receive numbers, in/out, and the text in separate columns and rows. I have not tried the other formats.

Finally!! great App. It took me days to figure out how to save my SMS on my iphone and finally, a program that works period! I am an advanced user and tried everything, using SSH, Iphone browser, everything and with no luck with either programs not working, crashing and plain no good, but this program ran on my Windows 7 OS even and had absolutlely no problem and did exactly what it says, thank you! The only thing is make sure you take the mark off the 3.0 setting if you have an older iphone.

SMS Export. After a brief false start I'm very impressed with this App. It didn't D/L correctly from iTunes on my computer initially, so I contacted support when the Export button didn't activate. Since I could do no more last night I went to bed. Support got back to me within hours, so i woke up to the resolution. I needed to purchase it again through iTunes and it came up with a message letting me know it would download for free. When I exported the conversations with one number, it told me the number of text messages, exported all text messages in Excel Format. I was especially impressed when I noted that even deleted texts were included in the export. Well worth the price, and then some. Thank you!!!

iCloud Users Beware!!. If you use iCloud to back up your phone, then don’t waste your money on this app!! For the app to work, you have to back up your entire phone to iTunes. If you have a phone with lots of memory (mine has 120 GB), then you better make sure that you have enough disk space on your laptop for the backup.

A bit confusing to install. But does the job.. It took me quite some stressful moments to install it on my MacBook Pro. But once I figured it out, the software did what I needed. So I’m satisfied in the end.

Not user friendly. The description stated you didn’t have to download anything on your computer. Yet once you pay 4.99 the app tells you that you in fact have to download stuff onto computer and use iTunes which I don’t use. Please refund my money. I don’t want to use this sketchy app.

Avoid. Unknown until purchase you must physically connect your to you Mac to complete installation then unencrypt the back up and change the phone from iCloud to Mac back-up. Give me a break. I t's easier to pay $5.00 not to do this with overly complicated and undisclosed requirement.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have contacted the twice in two days and they still haven’t responded. I am getting the same error that everyone seems to say they got, but I haven’t seen that “ prompt “ response time. This has been a total waste of money.

Too many obstacles to use this app. There are too many obstacles to use this, including the need to have iTunes on your desktop computer and using your Desktop computer to make this happen. It's also very difficult to get support from this app, you can't contact them through the App Store listing.

Waste of money. I just wasted $4.99. You have to screenshots of your messages. All this app does is convert the photos to pdf. It is much easier to use TurboScan, which is free.

False. You have to send messages in this app to have them be convertible to PDF. Won’t transfer existing messages from your phone to the app to your computer.

Support. Had a problem exporting and they were very responsive by email - problem solved in several msgs back and forth.

didnt work. followed instructions exactly, purchased from iTunes, backed up with settings as instructed etc. it wouldnt allow me to unlock the trial version. useless. using sierra OS. sounds like a good product but for me it didnt work at all.
