Might as well watch CNN. At first I thought Sky News would have been more objective about current events in America seeing as how they are based in the UK, but as it turns out, they are nothing more than leftist political hacks. Every story either provides glowing coverage to Democrats while demonizing Republicans. News is supposed to be objective, informing the populus on the who, what, when, where. why, and how, but all this news station serves to do is shove its political ideals down your throat. This is why the people are tired of the mainstream media and are flocking to independent news organizations as an alternative.

News. Thank you for being very informative about things not only in the UK but from around the world. I’m from the US and all the news stations talk about Trump 24/7 everyday. They don’t report about other things and it’s very annoying and aggravating. Also thank you for reporting about The Royal Family. It’s so interesting. You guys are awesome! 😊👍👍

Outstanding. Terrific up-to-minute ,and alerts, of not only UK news, but international developing events. It is clearly the most objective of all news sources...including US sources, who have pretty much abandoned objectivity. Its in-depth coverage of an event , coupled with identifying of related news stories is most appreciated and lends perspective .

World News. I live in the U.S. and appreciate your world view coverage. Sometimes I feel so isolated over here with no idea of what is happening around us. Skynews is an un opinionated no fluff and frills kind of news and doesn't simply seem to be about the ratings like we are in the States. I dig it.

Good but Needs Updates. Enough already with the temperature around the globe, spending 10 minutes or more informing us temperatures around world where ppl can’t go there anymore is useless, Sky should be calling the weather app, so why not Try showing the Covid-19 worldwide infection numbers, CHANGE that Sky theme music, it’s a turn off! Murdock enterprise, need I say more, watch AlJazerra 100 X more informative!

Balanced News that covers global issues. For American views, this channel is far better that what you will find on American television.

More good news please.. I would like more good news. I find that murderers and mass killers should not have their face on the report.. they should be made not recognisable with blocks. Leila

Notifications. It either updates notifications on my phone or iPad, but not both. Please fix! Other wise a very good app.

Too many ads and alerts. I love sky news. It is my global news paper. But when i launch the application, am reminded about things like cookies and security and other app data that is n the terms of use. I dont need to read it again. Please get rid of those gray boxes. Im reading the news, not going to a security lecture.

Basic Function Fail. The Sky News app has great content, navigation, and presentation—but it doesn’t work. You need to deliver on the basic functions, like getting the sound and video synchronized! Live streaming on the app is constantly going out of sync with the screen and sound not matching at all (not worrying about slight lip synch problems here). Also would be much improved if the app would allow users to set text size and video feed resolution/data consumption.

Excellent reporting on all the latest news!. I love reading the latest articles on my Sky news app over a cup of coffee in the morning, it gives me a good insight into what’s happening around the world on a daily basis. Thank you Sky News for keeping people like me informed, excellent stuff!

Arnaldo Bello. Sky News is my primordial news outlet for UK. It is formidable. I life in Puerto Rico and since Brexit I have been very interested how it will end. I work about an hour and half from home and most of the time it is my regular radio frequency I use.

The only reliable source these days. Sky news has blown every other news corporation out of the water. I don’t even live in Australia and I find it more relevant than all of the media sources here in the US.

Too Many Paid Ads Embedded. Scroll through any report and you'll find a half dozen embedded Outbrain (or similar) ads to ridiculous topics that have nothing to do with what you're reading. Use the browser version with an ad blocker and it all goes away...to just news.

Best Source for Euro and International News. My primary go to source for European and International news. Also appreciate the UK perspective on how the world is being affected and developed by the global economy and ever changing world social order. Keep up the good work!

No more USA news. I can’t watch news in the USA any longer. The truth cannot be found. I like UK news about the US because these reporters have no skin in the game. They just report the facts, unlike American journalism that skews all news into their personal bias. Thanks for making the app available worldwide.

Doesn’t have Search. There is no way to search for a subject. Currently the top news is Gaza; some of us still want to read the Ukraine latest. Since those stories aren’t in the feed there’s no way to find them. Thank you.

Broken on AppleTV 4k. This app is completely broken on the Apple TV. I used to watch regularly. Both clips and Live. It was great! But they have added targeted ads. US ads that appear to be regional. Now, I don’t begrudge the ads. I consume and Sky needs revenue to operate. Fair enough. BUT, the ads are breaking the app. In most cases, the ad plays and then goes back to the home screen without ever starting the content. It’s an endless loop. In a few cases, I can hear the news segment playing under the ad. Whatever the cause, the app is broken since the actual content is never delivered. Deleted on ATV. I’ll try again in a month to see if fixed.

Mostly Unbiased News. I go here daily because US media has moved so far to the left. I see stories here about US events that are not reported by US media. I trust Sky News.

Timely and accurate reporting of significant news. This news source has gained my trust. It does not always have coverage information on every topic but it covers the most significant events accurately and usually well before other sources. I like their posting of how many hours since their first posting of a story.

More pieces we miss from the TV. I would like to be able to watch the news pieces I miss on TV about the various stories. The music put with the short videos are emotive and should not be used in news. It often clashes with the subject... almost comedy at times. I like the analysis pieces by the correspondents. Shame we don’t get to see more of their TV work.

I like this.. I have been watching coverage of the queens passing since it happened. I have found it very comforting and know i will miss it after tomorrow.

I don’t know what happened…. The Sky News app on AppleTV has a major glitch: when you open the app, it goes to an advertisement (usually something local) and then , once the add has finished, it returns to the initial screen displaying the options to go live or select a report. This happens repeatedly. I tried deleting the app and downloading it again, to no avail. Please fix soon. This is my favorite news app to know what’s going on in the world.

Great Reporting. I consistently find Sky to be about the best single source of accurate news available. Concisely written and accurate as well as balanced. All of it interestingly presented. The recent video illustrating effects of storm surge is a good example! Keep the great work.

Ongoing issues with Apple TV. There were multiple issues recently with Sky New app when used on Apple TV. For several days in a row I was not able to neither stream nor play recorded videos. It seemed like app started playing selected content, but immediately switched do advertising. As of now those ads are the only content that I can watch.

Great Coverage. Sky news is a great addition to my news apps. The coverage and depth of info in the articles keep me informed and increase my understanding of the issues. The coverage of news in Europe, Asia and the US sometimes is not part of American news outlets main concern.

The Best News App. Excellent app, excellent journalism. Love the ability to watch the live news wherever I am. I love that they report the news with no spin- just news as it should be. This has become my favorite news app.

Aging news reporting.. I daily look to SKY on line to get global news updates. Recently, these home page has the same news items read a week before. Daily updates should be in order. John Dumbarton

Sky news. Very good as it is up to date with news reports and important information

Why so liberal?. Sky News has the foundation to be a good news source, but it has become so liberal that one can hardly find any balance to promote Jude’s-Christian values. You promote such viewpoints as transgender rights to the exclusion of traditional male and female rights. I hope you can become more balanced.

Notifications need an overhaul desperately. I love the app and sky news, but please allow users to customize notifications. I care about the war in Ukraine, but don’t really care that some rapper is in court.

I like sky news except for one little thing. I check sky news every day. The only thing that is sometimes frustrating is when there is a clip of a news video, but no supporting information about the story/video - neither as a separate story or embedded in the video. Quite often there is a written story that you can click to get the info, but sometimes nothing, so you don’t know what it’s about. Not sure why sky does this. Other than that, the app is easy to use and has a good Mx of stories.

Best News App. I have used about every higher rated News app.. but this one is so articulate, well-written and precise. It is first class; not yellow journalism. I recommend it to anyone who wants to know what is going on in the world.

Good, but can’t share stories. App is generally good, content interesting and informative, etc. My main complaint is that I can’t share stories from the app via Facebook Messenger. When I tap on the Messenger icon, what gets inserted into the message is NOT (a link to) the story, but just the cover photo. To share via Messenger, I have to switch out of the app, locate the story in a web browser, and share the story via Messenger from there. Messenger sharing used to work in the app but broke in recent updates. (I hope this is not a feature.)

Notification Issues. The app is great but I’m not able to get notifications. I follow the in app instructions but I’m never a me to enable them. I’m not sure what else I can do to fix. Overall the app and content are great though.

Typos!. Hey Sky News, your news coverage is great but horribly marred by myriad typos all over your stories. It is virtually impossible to find a piece without a typo. Why? It’s embarrassing, frankly. Everyone knows which is the worst-written news outlet in the UK - it’s infamous for it. Sky News’ viewers/readers, indeed the company itself, is being so let down by this coverage.

Tour items.. I click on some items, on my iPhone to get further information, but, more often than not, the page goes to another aspect/App on my phone abd dosn’t open. The page renains a white blank page. 2

All too Slowwwww. Well the last update was a real beano. Keeps telling your there is a problem and then the App is now so slow at loading have time for a shower, shave and a shift to another news app. Never do understand how an update can be sent out like this.

Intrusive advertisements. I have always valued Sky News as a source of works news. There are now so many advertisements on the page the text is actually jumping. This makes it very unpleasant to read.

No longer works in Australia. Data no longer loads in Australia. Either a bug or geo-blocked. Has been super reliable until recent upgrades. No messages saying why it no longer works in Australia.

Sky's anti-Brexit bias becoming all consuming. In terms of content within the app, the shrill pro-EU bias shown by Sky News in covering Brexit borders on the ridiculous. In terms of the app, it crashes on me every 2-3 times opening, especially when viewing the video feed.

Too many hyperlinks. There are too many hyperlinks in the articles whicj means you spend most of the time being redirected to other articles as you accidentally click on the link as you scroll through an article

Time warp. Your app could use some curating. Today - 12 Feb 19 - you were still listing multiple articles about hurricanes in Florida from October 2018. Can’t tell what’s current and what’s not without clicking on them - expect better from this organisation. NOT fake news - but very OLD news..

Live streaming blocked!. Live streaming is Geoblocked here in Australia which is rather ridiculous considering I can live stream either through Sky’s Web portal or through YouTube. Please allow Live Streaming to everybody globally and stop the Geoblocking nonsense.

One of the best news sites. Good content, clear and concise articles, prompt reporting of emerging news stories.

Review of Sky News. I would thoroughly enjoy Sky News top stories if it wasn’t for the adverts. These are a plenty but the most annoying thing is the way that they are scattered throughout the actual stories. Not at the side of, but constantly between the lines of each story you read. I especially find the large advert splashed across the top of the first item annoying as it completely takes over the news headline. Please stop adverts from ruining a very good news app and leave them to the sides or bottom of the items.

Unbiased and reliable. Sky News has always been my go to news source and this app makes it so easy to see an overview of current events around the globe. I don’t always agree with everything but that is it’s great coverage that shows both sides of each story. Good, but priorities English news. Hi Sky, a good news App that I’ve been using for years but it always strikes me how biased it is towards England - especially for Sport. Wales has just won another grand slam yet there is no mention of it in the Sports top stores - could you be more blatantly biased? It’s quite disappointing to see.

Recent update no good. The app now never loads for me despite reinstalling a couple of times. Push notifications still come through but if you click one to open up the story it fails. Only happened last 6-8 weeks previously was fine. Now can’t use the app at all which is frustrating

Used to be so user friendly.... The app has gone from great to rubbish with the latest updates! All the links in the stories open without even specifically pressing the highlighted words. You have to be careful where you place your finger to scroll otherwise you’ll end up inadvertently opening Safari to view the links. Surely this should happen only by an intentional press! Irritating enough that I’ve left a review in the hope someone fixes it!

News. Would be better if they told the truth

One of the few news app on my iPhone. I get news outlets have to make money, but most of their apps just pepper you with ads left right and center. This is one of the few that is left after I tried most of them.

Relevant and accurate (I think). Far better than the Beeb, for whom sympathy for the criminals rather than the victims is rife. The Woke Culture in Sky is muted.

Live stream not working. Everything works except the live stream. I have the same problem with the Apple TV app.

Good but biased news.. Although Sky news presents gray global and UK news it only presents a partisan and liberal view of all events that happen in The US and that is a cheating UK viewers of the actual truth of the events. A half truth is no truth at all.

“Why you can trust Sky News”, they say. You can’t. They ran an article about a poisonous monkey. It’s a loris, & while a loris belongs to the primate family (as do we), a loris is NOT a monkey.

Cookie pop up annoying. This app used to be great, however with recent updates I now have to go through 4 steps to say no to cookies every single time I open this app. Please accept that I don’t want cookies and stop asking me!!!!!!!

Biased. This is one of the most biased "news agencies". It picks up on a controversial story and spends way too much time pushing its own agenda instead of reporting on new stories.

Living in the USA, I like to be well informed regarding the news from my homeland England (Kent) Naturally, (as an ex Servicemen) I like to keep abreast of the ‘Good Friday accord’ relating to Ulster and the Republic Of Ireland, BREXIT, and these changing days of the British Political System. Apple TV app broken. Sky recently updated apple TV app to play a commercial before allowing live TV. However this crashes the app at the end of the commercial. Love sky news please fix this asap

Change the criteria for classifying breaking stories. Too many breaking stories and some stories that are considered breaking stories are simply news stories.

Review. Sky news is consistently among the best and earliest coverage of news from local and international events. It is accurate, well written and illustrated. I prefer it to the majority of USA coverage

App constantly failing. Recently the US version has introduced a lot of ads. These are playing with the news report underneath and then the app crashes. Super annoying and now unwatchable

PIP broken. Picture in Picture (PIP) on the iPad app has been broken for months. Efforts to submit a bug report are met only with a nonsensical form response having nothing to do with the issue. Otherwise, a great product.

Sky News not working. Since the most recent update three days ago (April 3, 2022) we have been unable to view content via Apple devices—TVs, phones and iPads. Tried getting support via Apple Support site, but no joy. Any suggestions?

They are pasting from clipboard. I’ve used this app for years and never realized they were monitoring my clipboard. After upgrading iPhone to ios14, I just found they pasted from the clipboard. There’s absolutely no reason for them to do this. What would happen if I copied a password!! DO NOT USE UNTIL THEY REMOVE THIS FUNCTIONALITY

Geo-fencing. Why has the app recently started geo-fencing!? If I’m out of the UK, I can’t see the news without switching on my VPN… Otherwise, the app is fine as it is (for me).

Too noisy!!. Not liking the noise with this apps notification. Some of us are in a different time zone and don’t appreciate being startled awake by it.

Way Too Much Tracking…Yikes!. Like Sky News however, My goodness upon the moment of download of the app…it’s all about making sure I did the Opt-Out’s, but the app obviously wasn’t having any of that…deleted.
