Great Twitter app if you dislike ads. I’ve been using this for years. Definitely recommended over the official client. Quick and full-featured, with great support if something breaks. My only gripes are pretty minor (no polls, occasionally getting lost in my timeline).

LACK OF REPLY OPTIONS MAKE THE UPDATED APP UNUSABLE. Updated Complaint Thank you for responding to the problem that I and many others have registered about the reply issue with the updated app. Perhaps you can explain why Twitter’s “strict display requirements” were not an issue before, and why TWEETLOGIX (which I am currently using) has a Reply/Reply All option. Without this option (which you had in the previous version) replies have to be sent to everyone in the email chain. Until this is problem is fixed, you will lose customers to TWEETLOGIX and other apps. My Complaint As of 4/29 the developers changed they app so what was previously a good app is now unusable. Developer Response Sorry to hear that you don't like the new reply handling, we always aim to improve the experience for our users. Unfortunately, Twitter has strict display requirements for replies, that Echofon needs to follow in order to use their API. Thanks for your understanding."

Searching for Users. I’m not sure what happened in the last update, but is there a reason we can no longer search for Users? I can search my timeline only. There used to be a Search icon in the lower right corner of my iPhone 6S. Now it just has a link to my profile. And no apparent way to find new users. Otherwise, I’ve been generally satisfied with Echofon.

Could be a great Twitter client. ...except for some chronic problems that never seem to get fixed. (1) Support for the external keyboard on my iPad Pro is hit-and-miss...it usually doesn’t work at all so I need to remove the keyboard and type on the screen, or use Twitter’s own client. (2) I have reported problem (1) for years, and never gotten any response. Very unhappy with the lack of response. (3) No support for Twitter polls; they just don’t show up. (4) Tweet thread support is poor; if I want to read a tweet thread, I generally have to switch to the Twitter client. I really want to like Echofon, and wish these could be fixed!

Great app; why change the icon?. I’ve been using this on iPhone for many years. Tried all the other Twitter clients. One complaint is: rather than putting the “Pro” banner on the paid Echofon Pro app, why don’t you put the “Lite” banner on the free version? The banner on the icon is really ugly.

Pro ribbon 🤢. I like the app, but anyway we can remove the “pro” ribbon from the icon? I like the icon without it. Apps stopped doing the pro ribbon years ago. Either remove it altogether or give us the option to remove it in settings.

So much better than actual twitter app/website. Thank you SO much for keeping tweets in chronological order, only showing people I follow in my feed and keeping my lists retweet free.

Several Missing Pieces. There are some things that are missing here that would make it phenomenal. While it is nice to have an actual chronological feed, I still have to revert back to the native Twitter app in order to read through threads. I also revert to native to see the likes for my posts since Echofon only shows mentions. Also, if I want to read the translation of a tweet, I again have to revert back to the native Twitter app. Add to that, reporting Tweets that needs to be done in the native Twitter app. Why Echofon is amazing: I use Echofon for both my lists and for the chronological feed. I also upgraded to Pro and don’t have to see ads, which is awesome! These three things have kept me as a user for many years now, but I’d love to see some expanded functionality if Twitter will allow it of app developers.

Could be better. Echofon is the best alternative for the Twitter app because you’re not inundated with ads or sponsored posts. **But** a lot of the core Twitter features are missing. You can’t view or respond to polls. You can’t view the top of a thread unless you scroll back to the original posting time. Some improvements need to be made.

Worth it!. I’ve used this app for 10+ years and highly suggest it to anyone. Chronological feed with no ads, what more can you ask for? The team responds quickly if there is an issue in an update. The only thing missing is polls, but that’s ok for me. If you’re a mostly mobile user, this is the app for you.

Add swipe down gesture to close out a photo. Currently user can only close out an expanded photo by touching "close" button. Ability to close a photo and return to timeline with a "swipe" gesture would be much appreciated

It's good, but 2 problems. This app works amazingly well, but one strange problem I've noticed is that if I copy the link to a tweet that was retweeted onto my timeline and send the link to someone, they'll get it as if the retweeter tweeted the tweet, and this causes an error. Also, it would be nice if RTs showed up in lists.

Default Video. Ever since the last update, videos playing on their own has been out of control. Even after the video/Ad is finished playing, I’m unable to go back to the link because the video overrides everything, & continues to play

Trending don’t work. I bought this app and used to love it. Now the trending section don’t work. These guys don’t even reply or tweet that they’re working on a fix. Deleting the app

Repeatedly getting error. I’ve used this app for years, it’s my preferred twitter app. But the new update is repeatedly asking me to reauthorize, almost every day it does this. Sometimes I have to log in and sometimes it resolves itself with just closing and restarting the app. Either way - super annoying! Hope it gets fixed soon.

Splendid Support. Through the years the team have been quick to respond to issues and to resolve complaints. Great support on this app

Timeline won’t show everything. I’ve used the app for hrs as I do prefer its interface to the default twitter app. But one annoying thing: I don’t see the tweets of all the ppl I follow. I go to someone’s timeline manually, I’ll see tweets they sent out just a few min ago, but won’t be on my timeline. If I switch to the twitter app, I’ll see all the tweets there. Has anyone else noticed/reported this? It’s been going on for a while and kinda thought it’d be fixed by now

Please fix it!. I don't know what bug fixes there was but it seems the new update messed up what wasn't broke! I don't use dark mode but it keeps showing up as dark mode when I compose a tweet. The app was working fine before the update and now it's just annoying. I hope there's a new update to correct it. This was my favorite app.

Does what I need it to do, but going down fast.. Update9/6/19: App is very clunky now. Timeline jumps around after opening a tweet. Most of the videos don’t play. Never seen a poll work once. Don’t get notifications anymore. ————- First review follows: Only request (since I don't log into twitter on my pc much) can we have a notification for when someone requests to follow? This would be handy for those of us who keep our tweets private.

Not all tweets load. Since this app was updated I’m missing the majority of the tweets from the people I follow. Please fix this! Otherwise I LOVE this app and I would highly recommend it.

Disappointed. I’ve been a fan of this app since I got an iPhone back in 2011. I’ve used this app only for Twitter exclusively. But for the past 2 months I’ve had to use the official twitter app because this one crashes every time I open it on my iPhone X. I thought, “let me make sure everything is updated” it is & it’s still not working. I even purchased the pro version so I really expected not to have any problems on this level. It won’t open at all which is extremely frustrating. 👎🏾

Well, that wasn’t fair. I have purchased this app and I have used it for years. Apparently the new owner of Twitter made some changes and made this app. Completely useless about a day ago. I don’t understand why I can’t report a problem inside of the app at the App Store. It’s pretty convenient when the developers make it so that you can’t complain.

Last update, a step backwards.. A number of changes in the last update has lowered the quality of this app. Opening web pages is plagued by a video player launching over the web page view. Closing the video player often launches another player if there are multiple video sources on the web page. In addition, when closing an opened tweet, you don’t always return to your timeline at the same place. This is very annoying.

Subscribing to a Twitter and then Adding to Personal List Error. Hi - love the app. Can you fix this one thing that is bugging me? Ok - I’ll create a new personal List. When I go to add the twitter entity to that list - the list description is only a bunch of numbers not the text that I had written. This is only happening for new lists. All of my old lists come up as text and they are fine. My last few lists that I have created recently are the problem. Is there anything else you need from me to fix this?

Best client. Using it for years with no issues. Tried others but always come back to this. If anything would be nice to have a choice of custom icon and advanced theme like color options as well as font options.

What's up with deafult-on video autoplay?!. I've used this app since it was called Twitterfon, and generally have preferred it to Twitter's native interface. Lately — perhaps since the last update— if I open a link to a web page that has embedded video (ads or otherwise), as soon as the page loads, ALL of the videos start playing! It becomes a marathon of tapping the X in the upper left corner to close them all. And on some sites, it's DOZENS. Makes some web pages unreadable. I wanted to contact support rather than leave a crabby review, but they apparently stopped using Zendesk and haven't updated their support link! What's happening, guys?!

Scroll bug needs fixed. If this were fixed, my rating would be 5 stars. I like the simplicity to see just what I want in my feed, and nothing extra. However, the bug is ruining the app, and I hope there is a fix soon. I don’t check my feed regularly, so to be reading a long list of new tweets, tap a tweet to read further, then switch back to my feed and find the app takes me all the way back to the start of the day’s feed again, is frustrating enough to make me want to delete and look for a new app.

I need echofon back!!. I’m giving u 5 stars, even tho I paid for premium version and can’t use it anymore. Hoping this gives u incentive to figure out a work around ASAP! With Echofon I had a carefully curated, personal news feed that was easy to use. I was in control. Without you, I’m forced to use twitter proper, and it’s like getting slapped in the face with spam texts when I just want to follow news as it is made. I don’t need another TikTok or Facebook “for you page.” I need echofon back. PS; if u can’t fix the twitter prob, have you thought about developing an interface for TikTok and/or fb that allows users to choose a chronological, time stamped feed from followers of their choosing? Because I would buy it!!!!!

Always disappointing. I’ve been using this app ever at least 5+ years now. It’s fine. It’s never good. They are always slow to roll out updates. Some features that should have been around years ago still aren’t. You still can barely play videos because they’re always super blurry. You can’t see any polls. A lot of times they don’t load the comments below tweets. It’s hard to load threads/replies. Push notifications and trends are spotty. Customer service is bad. They rolled out a program to test the app before updates, but they don’t listen to feedback. EDIT: Most recent version sees the best features such as streaming do not work correctly.

Disappointed. I have loved this app since the beginning. That’s why it’s so sad that the feature I love the most has been disabled or allowed to remain unfixed. Syncing accounts between devices is a wonderful feature that no longer functions. I hope at some point the developers fix that issue. Until then, this app is not much better than any twitter app out there.

I've switched back to native Twitter app. Got this app because it offered a nice dark mode and interface, but update after update this app has just gotten worse. And because I have the "pro version" I get an ugly "pro" badge across the app icon. Fire your designer. If anything the free version should get a "free" badge. Still features unavailable. Can't see a list of who's liked a post. Updates only seem to bring bloat. Close to deleting this app.

The end?. It looks like *someone* at Twitter has decided to no longer allow third party apps access. Twitter had always limited what Echofon could do, but it was still the best app for Twitter in my opinion. I already miss it more than I ever thought I would. Hope they’re able to make a return.

Trending. I love this app still it works amazing. Your trending section seems to be broken though since about 4 days ago. Same things have been trending and haven’t moved..

Don't go. Five stars because I will miss you. But I won't delete just yet in case Twitter changes hands to someone with a brain.

Almost there, Let’s finish it!. Request for a dark compose window and a translate feature. This will complete the app! Been with Echofon since the beginning, had my ups and downs with this Twitter client but it’s been consistent and durable.

Latest release bug.. I’ve been using this app for years and have loved it. However, a bug was introduced a month ago that is irritating as hell. Once I click on a link in a tweet and then go back to the app, I’m brought back to the beginning of my timeline. If I’ve been scrolling through 100+ tweets I have to find my way back to where I left off. I’ve been waiting for a release to fix it, but am now reverting to the official Twitter app until I see an update. It’s a shame.

Chronological & No Ads - So good!!. I've been using this app for years, and while it's true that there are a few things I'd change, for the most part, it's the best way to read and quickly respond to tweets. To post gifs or see polls, I do go to Twitter's native app, but for pretty much everything else, I find Echofon the best!

The End?. I hope what Twitter just did is not the end for Echofon. I’ve used this app since it came out and I cannot stand the official Twitter app. If this is the end (and I hope it’s not) thanks for everything.

Used to love this app. Was an amazing third party client that avoided ads and sponsored stuff. But the ongoing inability to view threads is disappointing, and now I’m discovering that if I don’t forcibly refresh it every twelve hours, it loses entire days of tweets from my timeline. So I didn’t open the app for the last couple days, and now my timeline goes from “12 hours ago” directly to September 9, displaying not a single tweet in between. Becoming hard to justify using, especially since now I don’t know if I’m actually seeing everyone I follow.

Update: Love It But Now It Won’t Open. I had to delete the app and reinstall. The issue is resolved! I have been using this app for years and love it. I continue to use this rather than the official twitter app. But now for some unknown reason the app crashes every time I open it. This issue just started today. I have tried completely closing the app, turning my phone off and back on both nothing has worked. Please help.

Used to be fine, now it has timeline problems. I’ve used this app for years. It’s always been fine until a couple of months ago. Now, I open the app and go to the bottom of my unread tweets. From there I scroll through some tweets, eventually stopping on one I open to read. When I’m done reading it, I close it and go back to my timeline, but instead of returning to the exact same point on my timeline like it used to, now the app returns to the bottom of the unread messages where I first started - even though I’ve already scrolled through some already. I tried to report this through the developer’s website, but that website isn’t available any more. ☹️

Great App. I’m a huge fan with how much more interactive “Twitter For iPhone” is I’ve been using Echofon for years and there’s just some stuff missing with how it looks aesthetically. If the developers could just focus on a clearer look I’d give 5 stars

This is not for the goodbye. This rating is for being such a great interface for Twitter that did only what I wanted/absolutely needed it to do. I’m angry that 12 years of work gets flushed down the drain because of some billionaire deciding he knows what we need in a twitter interface.

Good design, lots of flaws. I love the design of the app. The UI is breaking off the materialistic round user friendly design all apps seem to be going for and I’m all about it. A couple things I find annoying. Messages don’t actually show the last message in a conversation until you open and refresh them. What’s the point of that? I rarely get notifications, and when I do it’s when I open the app and refresh it. It’s set to refresh every 2 minutes but doesn’t until I open it. There isn’t a “straight to top,” button for the home page. You can push it once and it’ll go a little bit up, but not all the way. It also goes to compose a tweet if you push it twice, why? Can’t view a tweets quoted tweets, it just tells you how many there are. Other than these things I really don’t mind the app, it’s just a lot easier to use default Twitter app.

HATE the latest update. Using on the iPad (with the large preview window), you have to hit an expansion arrow to view GIFs and video, then when they expand, they’re either absurdly large (if video from a phone) or the wrong aspect ratio for the screen. It NEVER used to be this way and I’ve been an Echofon pro user for years. Fix or I may need to search for a new platform for Twitter. This has been my go to for years and I had already tried other platforms, but it may be time to adapt and say goodbye.

Seems most of the bugs are fixed. App keeps starting to open but then crashes when trying to open on my phone. Very annoying that I can't use it and have to use the actual twitter app.

Just okay. I’ve always been a fan of Echofon for as long as I can remember... one of the first apps to support multiple logins, and never switched. However, it’s time to start “shopping around”, as most videos still don’t play. Go to Twitter’s website, no issue with the exact same tweet. In Echofon, it’s just a thumbnail; doesn’t even recognize it as video content. Frustrating!

Keyboard function on iPad Stops Working. I have an Logic external keyboard case connected to my iPad via Bluetooth. For some reason, I’ll be typing tweets fine, then will go to type another tweet and the keyboard will no longer work. I bought the Pro version thinking this would stop happening but it hasn’t. I have to close out of the app and reopen to regain keyboard function but then I’ve lost my place in my feed. Very frustrating! I don’t have this problem with any of my other apps. What gives? I’m ready to ditch Echofon which I’ve used for years on my iPhone because the loss of keyboard function renders Twitter unusable on my iPad.

It keeps crashing. Every time you click on the app from your home screen, it crashes and you have to reclick it again

Won’t display threaded tweets. I like being able to skip ads, but it’s maddening not being able to read tweet threads when someone has retweeted just the original tweet. I usually end up having to click through to their timeline and scroll way back. Every time the app updates I think “surely they’ll fix it,” but no. What gives?

Great. This is a great app if you use twitter across many devices. I use Firefox , iPhone and iPad versions and it keeps my reading position in synch across all.

Echofon Pro outperforms the native Twitter app. Echofon certainly manages to outperform the native Twitter app. It has much better integration of photo services (Twitgoo & Postreous for instance). Notably, Echofon manages to do a great job of showing location tagged Tweets, something the native app fails to do. Echofon would do well to mimic the native app with a smoother display of images, the pop-out window is a little inelegant. Otherwise a four star effort.

Worth the money. Love Flickr Upload.. I've always wanted my tweet'd pictures to be saved into my Flickr account, and this Twitter client delivers. I can't fault this app, and I have used many Twitter apps. If you want your twitter pictures uploaded into your Flickr account, this is a winner.

Ok. I use to love it but now it's buggy and crashes alot also the time of when u tweet is wrong eg it sets 16 hours ago when u just tweeted it would really like that fixed ASAP.

Quick & responsive. On a slower iPhone 4, I love how quickly it loads. It's not as flashy as other twitter clients but it's definitely functional and very responsive to boot.

Great for multiple accounts. Very handy app for maintaining multiple accounts. Many users in my organisation have a personal Twitter account, and some have access to managing some shared business accounts. Works well for us!

Great App. I actually love this app compared to the free twitter one, the twitter one is constantly crashing and never sends through my tweets, but with Echofon I have almost never had a problem.

Not to bad. Pretty good for the most part. It freezes sometime and another peev it sometimes goes straight to the last tweet. Super annoying.

So much better than the twitter app.. This is my favourite twitter app out of all the ones I've tried. It has a great layout which to some extent you can customise. My only problem with it is that I haven't been getting notifications for a few months now. I've deleted and reinstalled and updated a few times since this first started so it would be great if you could get that working for me. I there was one thing I could add it would be my own custom notification sound. While I like the choice you have I like my own personal sounds for every little thing.

UNSTABLE. This used to be the best twitter app available but not anymore. The app is unstable & buggy, with each successive update taking one step forward and 2 steps back. It crashes or jumps to the most recent tweet anytime you click on a link to email or get out of app and go back. It's just infuriating. By all means spend your $ like i did, but you'll be disappointed.

Best twitter prog. This is the best stand alone twitter program i have found, nothing comes close. I was using tweetcaster till it stopped updating. This is worth every cent.

Missing two things. This is an ok twitter client but is missing 2 major things. 1) no multiple drafts 2) no pull down to refresh. FAIL

Does not open anymore. I have used echofon pro for a year now and never had a problem... That is until this update. I have removed and restored several times, and it just does not open. Please fix guys, you have a great product usually!!

Wishes. It's a great app, but the only thing that is missing is the ability of enlarging the profile pics. Once this is available I'll use this app full time. And I hope this come soon as there are free Twiter apps out there that have this feature. Please and thank you.

Best twitter app I've used. Really can't fault this simple to use app. Does everything I want. Occasionally had issues saving to pocket, but this are generally network issues. Tried other apps, but always come back to Echofon. It just works. :)

Echofon Pro. I love this app cause it's way better than the other twitter apps than i have tried. If you looking for a easy twitter app then this is the one i suggest & pick. don't even bother getting the other ones.

Fantastic but with a few letdowns. Have used echofon for years, but it still has some glaring issues such as it never loading threads properly, and having real trouble with playing videos. Other than that it’s great.

Essentially now useless. No steaming timeline or notifications so basically now useless..

Okok. It would be good if refreshing tweets can be done through a drag down slider. It would be even better if web browsing bit had a new interface. The reason why I bought this app is because of the push notifications. Kudos to the fast loading speed :D

Best Twitter app.. Used a bunch of Twitter apps, this consistently comes out on top for ease of use, functionality and clean design. So, so much better than the official Twitter app. Definitely worth your dollars.

PERFECT Twitter app!!. It is by far the best Twitter app I've used. Once you open it back up it loads from the last tweet ... Also you can directly upload twitpics  easy and fast without going on another site/page. Luv it awesome!!! Only thing is the ability to enlarge profile pictures that is missing!

Awesome twitter app. Much more fluid than the actual twitter client, with more useful features and easier navigation.

Simple and good. Ads were annoying so upgraded to pro. Simple and nice interface.

It’s OK... for now.. I loved the free version of this app so much I went and bought myself the Pro version. I upgraded a few years ago, but recently there have been issues with the app regarding Notifications. As in, I don’t get them at all even after deleting and downloading the app again. Logging off and on etc. I’m no longer receiving Notifications for anything. No Re-Tweets, No Replies, No Mentions, No Likes and everything else you’re meant to get notified about. I look forward to these issues getting fixed, otherwise my rating will remain.

Excellent twitter interface. Have been using this app since it was a wee-little-app. For me it is synonymous with Twitter itself. If they could bring back colour themes for each twitter account I would give it 6 stars!

Good app. Tried a few apps for twitter, but none compares to this. Only thing missing perhaps is a translate option.

Great... But. I love this app, have had it for years, will settle for nothing less but.. Now you have changed the stream to names instead of usernames instead of leaving the option like before. I want my options back. I wanna view my feed the way I want to see it. I don't under stand why you would take it away. Not I don't know who I'm reading. Makes me wanna stop using twitter.

Good app BUT with a MAJOR bug. Receiving tweets from another user's account even after removing this user's account details from all devices. I even deleted the application & re-installed without success. I also sent a tweet to the Echofon development team & received no reply. Overall a very annoying bug with no technical support! I am after a refund!

Good App - one of the best. Works very well. Tried others, and found this is one of the best. Although, can it 'auto expand' tlonger tweets? Thks.

Elegant but unstable. TwitterFon Pro has an elegant and coherent structure which makes it very easy to use. However, there is a problem: the version current at 15 June 2009 is unstable and crashes frequently, often but not always out of the inbuilt browser.

Issues. Had a few issues since the update, displays incorrect user profile pics and constantly crashes.

Nice to have good desktop syncing. Very nicely done. Equal to the best twitter clients out there plus perfect desktop syncing of read message status. The Mac desktop client is very nice too. Makes for a wonderful software combination.

Great app. Love this app. Basic easy to use. Tried heaps of other apps. Free and paid ones. This is by far the best free app. Have now purchased pro version which is even better. Highly recommend.

Pretty happy. Love it....the only thing I would add is maybe an option where you can see all replies not just the ones made by your self.

One thing. Great app! Only if it also had the feature of being able to tweet longer included rather than needing to use another app. All in all great way of browsing & notifications & alerts of how many on TL, mentions & messages ate great!

Like the looks sick of the server errors. Hopefully this gets fixed but can't search for people to Twitter today. Server error. Will switch but already paid for a Twitter client so not happy I'll have to pay again

Cache + Friends. Caching tweets and superb friends management gives this app the edge over Tweetie IMHO. A bit pricey but well featured.

Hasn’t met us in 2021. I adored this app 7 years ago because it did everything the Twitter app wouldn’t (It held multiple accounts, let you see images without leaving the app, let you edit your profile without leaving the app- yeah, the Twitter app was that bad). And the interface is so friendly. It just hasn’t joined us in 2021. You can’t do some really simple things like edit your block list or see who is liking your tweets. Sorry Echofon. You were my hero back in the day, thank you for what you were.

Best Twitter Client. I've tired most other twitter clients but I always come back to Echofon. The design is simple and clean. Easy to use. Push notifications are fast and reliable most of the time. I also like the mute feature that allows me to hide hashtags and clients that I prefer not to see. It's also great to be able to sync unread tweets between Echofon for iPhone and Echofon for Mac. There is one thing I wish Echofon could do. Ability to select words in the detailed tweet view, like Twitter for iPhone so that it's possible to copy and use the built in dictionary.

Echofon iPhone great iPad less so. What were they thinking? Lots of great features on iPhone dropped on iPad. Eg I dont want general timeline (with 24,000 followers) auto updated. IPhone echofon can turn this off, iPad no. Frustrating.

Crashes. I love it. Really. But at the moment every time it crashes when you reload it it opens with a hashtag search loaded that I never saved as a search and only clicked on once. It's a bit annoying. I like the rest of it. Mute user/hashtag is the BEST feature ever.

Echofon for Twitter Pro. Very tidy little app, a pleasure to use. Ability to use lists would be a huge plus, but the absence doesn't detract from the overall experience.

Crashes when loading. Just updated and now when I try to open app, it kicks me back to my home page!

Not sure what’s happening. I’ve used this app for years and now suddenly I keep having to authenticate. I tweeted Echofon a few days ago and no response. Wow.

Update is THE WORST. Ever since downloading the update (version 8.0) on Oct.13/14 every time I click on a UN, it crashes. Open links? It crashes. Try to retweet ANYTHING? Crashes. Used to be amazing, now it's just bad, bad, BAD. I'm running iOS 7.1.2 on an iPhone 5S, btw.

Lots of potential, lack of fixes. Used to love this app, but they're falling behind the times and missing features. Most frustrating part is being a person who paid for pro and not getting resolves or even replies from support.

Echofon. This used to be a fantastic app, the best Twitter app going, however lately, it has completely tanked. No bug fixes, no communication, no updates. There are issues that make using the app unbearable. If there isn’t a fix soon I’ll leave it for another subpar app.

Great App!. The App has a nice clean and uncluttered design. My only wish is a better way to mark the start of the unread section. The thin separator line is difficult to see.

Very good. Fast, not bloated with features. But does have great ones like ,using hashtags and list management and easily showing tweets from a list. Really annoyed they moved he reply button in the last update tho. No reason to mess with the UI.

Still a fan. I've always used Echofon Pro and loved it. Some of the upgrades have been great and some not so much. But I'm definitely not a fan of the large picture preview at all. It takes up too much room as I scroll. There are pictures that I skip because I don't want to see them. This forces me to look at them as I scroll. I wish you would change it back.

So many things... Push notifications, where did they go? Colour schemes, gone. I hate the new layout.

Best Twitter App Going. Tried all the others but this was always the one I came back to. Worth the $ for the ad free premium version.

May ask for refund from App Store. lists not working properly. App missing ability the choose which twitter account you can see subscribe to. Support for this app is lacking. Will wait and see a bit longer

Works good. The product works good. No problems at all. I like it a lot better than the Twitter app.

Has many serious bugs. This app freezes so often that it's unusable. Don't waste your money till some people start posting good reviews because on my up to date Ipad this app simply does not work at the moment. It does however, have promise. Hopefully the bugs will get fixed - which would take the app to 4 stars

Smh. Notifications don't work and Echofon support says there isn't a fix... Yet. Glad I paid money for this app. Smh.

Too much Bug. Incapable de faire des mises à jours convenable. Ça fais des mois que ça dure. Heureusement y'a la fonction mute sinon j'aurais changer.

Great tool, way more useful than the official app. Can manage lists, trends, everything from the main screen

Very good. Maybe not as nice as Tweetbot on iPhone but much nicer on iPad. I am not never going back to Tweetbot considering how suddenly they can abandon an app.

Can't login until last update. Since the last update, I'm not able to login to my tweeter account... Please fix the issue! But I still have notification.

Latest update automatically adds @ in replies - nuisance. ***Update - looks like it's only display bug - the app now displays all "replies" with the @username, regardless of whether they are added or removed. The ones that are "replied to main thread with @" shows up as a the reply color, while others remain the default color. The official Twitter app will show the correct version of the text without @username and tweet format continue to display correctly. - Hey guys, pro user here. I intended to reply to my own thread without @ ing thread owner, but after the latest update, app starts automatically inserting the OP's @username in my reply, forcefully, even when I've deleted it. As you know, any tweets starting with @ does not show up on the main web timeline, and I actually I intend for that to be deleted, currently there is NO WAY to have this done now in the app even when I manually delete, and there is NO any kind of indication that it's inserting the text for me. Can this be reverted or at least made into an optional feature? App is actually quite unusable if it's actually inserting text into the tweets when I intended the format to be otherwise. It is the best Twitter app out there feature-wise but I will sadly have to go back to a rival app...

Echofon Pro update. Currently not working at all.

Pro adds all features I've been wanting. I had been using the free version of TwitterFon for a long time and thought it was the best free twitter app. There were certain features like multiple accounts, landscape keyboard and the ability to block users that I was wanting, though. When the paid version came along that added all of these features, I wasted no time upgrading. Sure, at $5 it's a little more expensive than some. I figured after all the use I got for free, the developer deserved it. No regrets!

Great app.. Can you please add a option for a complete black mode. Right now it looks like it’s brown. Also an option to change the font. Otherwise 5 stars!

So far the only good one. So far Echofon is the only working Twitter client in the App Store which is sad since we should get more options. But I'm glad at one app works as it should. Although I'd really love to see an activity feed showing RTs, Likes, Follows etc all in a list maybe with the mentions. Just a thought.

2 and a half stars. I've played with my settings but nothing seems to help with my timeline/newsfeed scrolling right to the top. I'd like to catch up on tweets but while I'm reading them, it goes to the top. Very annoying if I haven't been on twitter for a while & want to catch up on hours worth of tweets.

Great app but…. This is a great app but would be even better if it had not just a static counter on the "Home" feed but one that actually counts down the unread tweets as they are being read. There are other apps out there that do this. Why not this one? Come on, you can do it. Put T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ t out of its misery once & for all

4 stars. I love it! The only thing I would love to see is when I click on a tweet it would be nice to see how many RT's & favorites it has. Other than that it's the best twitter app!

Echofon. Very good List functionality, ability to display images in small size, and Retweet with comment.

The timeline position shift is annoying. Every time I go back to the app. The position of my timeline shifts far off. I have to scroll around to find out where I stop, even just after couple seconds switching away from the app.

Excellent - worth paying for!. I purchased this to get rid of the ads; excellent! It's quick and seemingly glitch-free. Well worth the small investment.

Lost the new message marker. Just updated to the new version, which seems to no longer show a colored box for the new messages. You know how many but not where they start. Also suddenly the feed starts spurting all over and you have no idea where you are.

Tried them all, still love Echofon. Worth the price!

Crashes constantly. This app has become unusable for me. I hit on a person's name-crash. Try to read a link-crash. Worst echofon has ever been. I'm on a 2nd gen iPad with ios8 btw. Awful!!!!

Great app! so long and thanks for all the fish. Outstanding app to wrangle Twitter. Was and would always be my first choice but I left Twitter because … well Twitter. So thank you Echofon for over a decade of amazing service. If you ever consider doing a Mastodon app I am going to switch back to you in a heart beat.

Sync?. I see occasional updates, but sync is still broken and has been for what, a couple of years? The app is decent, but that is the distinguishing feature if it works. PLEASE FIX!!!

Twirific... almost. Echofon seems to have lost a little with IOS 8, but perhaps trying to get it right is a bit like shooting a moving target. Up until IOS 8 it has been absolutely fantastic. At the moment the only complaint I have is that the touch part seems not to be working well. That is when I touch a hyperlink, some are slow, and some are 'no go' at all. I look forward to the next update for improved ability to view new followers, look up information on my followers (links don't work) and other non-functioning hyperlinks. I am happy that echofon listens to its users and adds or modifies functions when enough ask. Keep it up. So far it is the best one out there.
