New update. The newest update is horrible! The text is so small you can hardly read it. Bring back the older version!!!

Great app. I’ve used this app forever. I wasn’t thrilled with the update on the appearance but it appears that they’ve fixed that. Retired last year and I still use it almost as much as I did before. I got rid of so much stuff from the job, but this is one thing I’m going to hang onto. Kind of nice being able to see when the old shift is on or off so we can catch up.

No updates. I loved this app, it worked great keeping track of my shifts and shared information with the apple calendar well. Now for several months non of my Apple calendar info is transferring across to this app anymore. It's becoming useless for me. Unless something changes I wouldn't buy it.

Missing from screen. The app icon is missing from my screen but it’s available if I look it up? It’s inconvenient. I’ve heard nothing from customer service.

WAS a good app!. This new version is very disappointing. The old version needed a few tweaks, but definitely not a complete rewrite, now it’s the most user unfriendly version I’ve come across, in today’s app world. I will be deleting this app, and taking the $7 loss.

Good for Law Enforcement Schedule. Scheduler was designed for use by people who have public service occuptions. I currently use it for a law enforcement schedule. Schedules as with most things in this line of work go out the window once they are implemented. Scheduler allows one to document overtime, holidays, vacations and all the other things that come up in the course of a given shift. It takes a little practice to use but is not a difficult program to use. On several occasions I have contacted the developer for help or advice and he has always responded in a very timely manner. The program has had upgrades based on user suggestions and my advise to those who wish to be critical without offering a better suggestion need not buy the program. If you are looking for a program that will work for police, EMS or fire schedules then I would recommend this app.

Very Cool App for FD schedule. Since I bought my iPhone I have looking for an app that I could keep my schedule on as well as Trades, vacation, OT, etc... This is the one. It is pretty easy to use after about 30 minutes of playing with it. It also has "tutorial" mode that will help you if you need it. The different colors and ability to change colors for each type of schedule situation is really cool. Once you learn it you will find ways to put important notes on a day like someones birthday or an important meeting. My only request would be for the developer to make this more user friendly and let the app track your personal events as well as work events. Overall a very awesome schedule for a firefighter!

Calendar events. After the last update all of my scheduled events disappeared. Even if I add one, it does show up. How do I fix this?

Best firefighter calendar. I've tried others, some free and some paid and this one is the only calendar app I use. It has replaced my iCal, my pocket shift calendar, and my wife's calendar all in one. While it does take a little bit to figure out, it is only because there are so many features available on it. It is well worth the hassle of setting it up. I have never had any issues with the app and the developer is very receptive to questions and/or suggestions. I use this app more tan any other app I have ever downloaded. The OT, vacation, and sick time tracking features have saved me a couple of times when HR made a mistake with my hours. That alone paid for itself. I rate it 10/10!

(Read whole review) Best scheduler for the Fire/EMS service yet!. First review ever written. I downloaded it during one of those idle moments between runs (911 calls), began to play with it, and thought that this might have been a waste of money because I had a hard time doing anything much more than setting up my shifts. However, having a better opportunity to really look at it, I was amazed at the functionality and usefulness. After I set everything up on it and was now trying to customize it, I took a brief look in the Help section, and didn't see anything on that subject. I emailed Jeff, got a response in exactly 10 minutes with an explanation of how to do it. Just because his instructions seemed so "duh", I went back to the Help section and took another look. Duh, it was there... Guess I was a little fast on the email. Thanks Jeff for the fast insight and a great product. - Dammit Jim, AFD, E-66

Great app. I have a difficult 2-2-3 schedule that this app works perfect for. It's a bit challenging adding vacation days that are not holidays. I'm possibly doing something wrong. I could possibly use a bit more tutorial. I'd also like to be able to export my schedule more than the current screen display. Other than those areas. I love the app. Great for my schedule.

Over complicated. This app might be nice but it will take you a lot of patience and time to figure it out. I'm a FF just trying to get the black red and gold shift schedule in an app. This is definitely not it

The most important app on my phone!. I have been using this calendar app for 3-4 years and it is the most important app on my phone. I am a firefighter with a second job and this app easily allows me to plan accordingly. Adding shift trades, OT, extra days at the second job is a breeze and easy to see in the month view. If you take the time to set it up, it will even keep track of vacation and sick time which is extremely helpful to me. If I have a vacation planned several months ahead I can easily look forward to that date to see if I have enough time to cover it or if I'll need to do trades. If i didn't have this app, I would be lost. I don't know how much it goes for now, but trust me, it is worth every penny!!

Updates. This app was amazing prior to these most recent updates. Go back to the old version!

Firefighter. This APP is awesome. I recommend this to every firefighter out there. It's was better then another out there. I've tried others and there not even 1/2 as good. The only thing I would change or improve would be, make it more daily "to do" friendly. I don't know about you but I plan everything around my work schedule, vacation days, time trades, and overtime. The EVENT part of the APP is the only thing I can really use at this time to plan around my work schedule. Make a "to do" button that does not have to do with work so you could enter the time, or scheduled things u have "to do" off duty making the APP a 100% perfect! I give it a 97% at this time! I will make it a 5 star if improved.

Omg. Lost all my info that had my schedule and my husbands. The import didn’t work and the schedule would not work right. Now an update and I feel more lost than ever. This is my go to app. Now it’s frustrating .

Great app. I have been using this app for several years now and love it. It is far better than keeping a pocket calendar with me when scheduling appointments or making plans with family and friends. I have a rotating schedule which is not in the app but I was able to put my schedule in manually. I can see what my schedule is going to be next year rather than trying to figure it out. If you have rotating days off this is what you need to keep your life in order.

Update wiped my events out. I have used this app forever. Updated recently and lost all of my events. Don’t bother unless you want to lose everything.

Update Schedule 6. I hate the update you just did! Most of my information is on incorrect days or the information didn’t transfer (special occasions). I would’ve given this a 5 stars until this update. I’m spending more time trying to figure out how to set it up again.

Update?. Please update. No iCal events show up in Scheduler any more!!!!

Lost all my info!!!!. I have had this app for years and have never had issues. Just now when I opened it, which I do 1,000 times a day, the app is automatically in a display mode and has erased all of my stored dates. Has this happened to anyone else just now? This is upsetting because now I will have to take time and re input dates and schedules that have never changed.

Great app for Firemen. I use this for my wife and myself for my schedule at the fire dept. works great. I hope a Apple Watch app will come soon.

Best App on the Market. I have an unusual work schedule where I work for 5 days then off 2, then Work 5 off 2, and work 5 off 3. This App has been unbelievably helpful for me. All I had to do was set up an example month of work and it duplicated it for the next two years! I very often do shift swaps with other guys and this app has a "trade" option which helps me keep track of days I owe or days owed to me. My overtime and shift changes are easily tracked on this app as well. I have had this app for almost 3 month and I could not imagine not having it. It completely takes the place of calendar books or logs and is worth every penny I paid for it. I highly recommend this app to all people.

The best. I’ve been using this App for at least 10 Years if not more and never had a problem with it.

Wonderful for Couples. I downloaded this app so that my boyfriend and I could sync our hectic schedules. I love that we can email update each other. At first it was not working because I had an older operating system on my Ipod that would not allow downloading of his emailed schedule. I emailed the developer and recieved a response within minutes. He was was very helpful in quickly resolving my issue and letting me know to update the OS on the ipod. Since then I have had no issues. The only suggestion I have at this point (and maybe it already exists and I haven't learned about it yet) is to be able to share certain events as well so that we don't have to each enter the event separately. For example, if I plan a trip on our weekend off and put it on my event schedule, that I can choose to have it shared with him. But not necessarily share other events such as work related appointments. If this can already be done, great! I will learn... if not having it added would be a great update!

New update is horrible. Up until this morning I would have given this app 5 stars. I have used it for over 5 years and it has been perfect for what I need. This new update v6 has completely changed everything and the visual is terrible. It is hard to read everything. The functionality seems gone. Very upset that my go to app has been destroyed essentially.

Working great. App seems to be working great. It took me a little bit to figure everything out after the last update, but I got it working. Thanks for the update!

Not sure I like the new update. I have been using this app for about 10 years now. I’m not a fan of the updated look. Still giving it a shot tho.

Worth the effort. I'll admit; the learning curve was steep, but well worth the time. At first, Scheduler seemed more "complicated" than "flexible." But Jeff Mattox, the creator, is extremely fast with advice and tips. After a few emails to get me on the right track, I had successfully created my weird seven-week, four-shift rotating cycle, and had started perfecting and tweaking it. Looking back on it, I'm amazed that something so easy and simple could have seemed so daunting - without Jeff's help, it may have been. But if you want to visualize your schedule in a way simply not possible by the standard iPhone Calender, this is a "Must Have" app.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for LEOs. First off, THANK YOU Jeff for the recent updates!!! I’ve worked shift work (rotating days off, platoon, fixed 4-10s) for 15 years. I came across this app in 2009. I took a chance and bought this app. I have used it since. It has everything you need to map out your work schedule. I’m a visual person so this app allows me to customize my calendar with color and markings. It’s not hard to use. You can always email Jeff for assistance. I’d highly recommend this app!!!

Will this ever get an update? Probably not.. I used this app for at least 8-9 years but am super disappointed that it’s yet to receive any kind of modern update. Last major update was 2017 for iOS11. We’re now at iOS 14 in 2021. I’ve recently moved on to FireSync — which is a bummer because I loved this app. It would be great if the developer actually maintained the app but I can’t continue to rely on an app that a developer has abandoned. This is why I decided to make the transition now so that I’m not left on the hook should this app stop working with a sudden iOS update.

PERFECT for Parenting Time/Child Visitation. I never thought I would find a calender app that could replace my calender on my old Palm Centro, with its flexible recurring events feature. I have looked for over a year for an app that would allow me to set up the schedule that my ex-husband (a police officer) and I have for shared parenting time with our son. I researched all apps that seemed would apply, but they all are limited in how you can set up recurring events. This is perfect...I just wish I was able to find it sooner. Perhaps associating better search terms with this app would help others find it more easily.

Great app. Perfect app for shift workers. Love the ability to track trades, PTO, appointments.

Very functional app. It helps me plan my work schedule before submitting it to our scheduler at work. I can see the calendar in a 30-day view and actually plot my schedule in a way that works w 'my family's' holidays (e.g. bdays, annivs) and actually gives me a better picture when to request days offs or vacations. I can even start plotting my draft schedule months ahead and that just gives me a planning advantage. One has to learn how to use this app. Once that was ironed out for me, i customized it to the way that worked for me. Now not all of the features were applicable to me- but the other features worked for my needs. I have used this app since 2008 ( or when the iphone 3G came out whatever year that was...). I work as a nurse.

Love this calendar!. I’ve been using this calendar for several years and really love it. I downloaded it originally when I was on rotating shift work and it really helped me manage my schedule at a quick glance. I’ve had two occasions to email the developer for assistance and in both instances I received a reply within minutes. Also in each instance my issue was resolved. Great app!

Love this calendar!. I don’t know how this app doesn’t have more reviews. I have been using this scheduler for years and would be lost without it! So easy to use! Customize your fire schedule, tracks vaca hrs accumulated with cut offs even, trades, debit days, sick hours... does it all! And I can link my google calendar with visual alerts to help keep track of everything. LOVE it!

Couldn't do without it!. I am an RN with a different schedule every week and accumulate hours for vacation, sick, personal, comp and holidays. This ap keeps track beautifully once it's set up-adds and subtracts hours or days. With a tap of the screen, you can see your balance going forward or back in the calendar. There is so much more than that. Once set up, it is so easy to enter your schedule or anything else you want to enter-by just touching the date. You can see your phone calendar in the ap. it even let's you know how many hours you've worked and when you've reached your max limit on vacation hours. It may seem a bit daunting at first to set it up but it's worth it. I've been using this ap for a very long time and even when I find that I need something else, like to track comp time, it can do it. The customer service is wonderful. They are quick to answer. Pretty much immediately. Plus they are extremely helpful with any questions about the ap. It is so difficult keeping track of all the different hours and this ap does it seamlessly. It is highly recommended!

Awesome - Finally. Thanks Jeff for a great product! Basically, I work a 6 week schedule that requires us to spend half of our time in different locations... So, my schedule does not repeat until the 12 week cycle has completed. Scheduler is pricy and I was hesitant to purchase until I exhausted the similar Apps... This was quick since no other App can come close, in my opinion, providing the flexibility and tracking that this program does. This App can accommodate the most demanding schedule - period. There is a learning curve but non too difficult to figure it out. Wondering what shift you are working next year to plan ahead? No problem - if your schedule does not change - you can have it in view right now! Customer support - there is None Better - Jeff responded within the hour of my email. This will be the last Scheduling App you will need to purchase!

Good but could be better. This app is good but I wish I was able to go back and review past months of my work schedule. I am able to go 24 months in advance but can only look at the last 30days.

Ugly Icon. Great App but this new icon is uuuuuuuugly!

Just what you need.. I’ve been using this app for almost 11 years. Started the day I got my job as a firefighter. If you need a shift app this will do the trick.

Awesome Schedule/Calendar App. "The App", " The App", "The App", lets all talk about the app. This is a great app, but I'll get to that later. Having been in budgeting, planning and scheduling of maintenance for major industrial facilities, the final result (making the darn thing work) is what really matters. That is what makes this app shine. I have only 2 "issues" with this app, both operator error. But each time I contacted support (Jeff), response was extremely fast and accurate, getting me running again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME wondering if another app will work. This one DOES, and Jeff's willingness to follow-up if you have support needs, proves his desire to make sure that this is the best Scheduler/Calendar app. NOW THE APP... I am not a FF, but do work rotating shifts working the Dupont schedule, so having my shift calendar is a must. I tried several other schedule apps but none of those compared to the ease and flexibility of Scheduler. To be able to make and keep the family's appointments is no longer an "I'll check my work schedule and get back to you" event. I have showed it to co-workers and other folks that working rotatng shifts, and all love the app. They especially liked the ability to create their/your own schedule. The tracking of events, holiday/vacation hours, shift coverage/swapping is a must and all work great, I cannot recommend this app enough. You need it.

Almost perfect. Been using it since it came out great app just update so I can use it on iPad

Great app but where did the emojis go?. My husband and I have rotational shifts and so this app is a life saver for us. But to keep the clutter down of events I prefer to use emojis for the event title. That option seems to have gone away? Why?! It’s frustrating having so many events titled on one day and I tend to miss something if I don’t read each one carefully. I preferred using emojis to keep it easier and with less clutter. Also PLEASE get rid of the time zones!!!!! It doesn’t matter where I am when I put an appointment in my calendar, the time of the appointment is still the same no matter where I am. I can make the mental hour change myself if I know I’m in a different time zone but at least I’ll know what time the appointment is! This has caused a lot of problems for me with the app changing the times for my appointments.

Needs some work. I can’t get the vacation balance to stay updated. When I add new vacation leave dates, the balance goes crazy and some different numbers generate. Can’t track use of leave.

Last update changed everything. I have had this app for years and always loved it. The recent update changed things. The event dots are very large and I’m not sure if there is a way to change the size. If you have multiple events on same day the dots are overwhelming.

Terrible update!!!. I’ve been using the original app for several years with no problems. After this update everything has been messed up. The appearance change is okay but the old one was okay too. When the recent update occurred most information transferred correctly but slot didn’t. The overtime, vacation usage and accrual and sick time usage and accrual were all incorrect. Hopefully they can get this figured out soon, because it would be helpful to know how much vacation I have available before scheduling it. Maybe they could revert back to the old version until they work out the gremlins.

go back. can we please go back to the previous version. there was nothing wrong with it. i liked that it was simple & left alone for so long. this is hideous

Great helpful app. Great app has alot of option's to set it up for your life. Has a great help page and tip popups which you can be turned off when u get good at it. I have sent two email's for help and both were responded to within 20 min. Great stuff

A quagmire. I’ve been using Scheduler for years. It’s the best display I’ve ever seen and I wouldn’t be without it. This update has messed up my original settings, eventful dates have disappeared and the colours are a shamble. Very poor show.

Comprehensive handy rostering app. I don't think Scheduler is complicated, rather comprehensive instead. Certainly requires the user to play around with it a bit, or more appropriately, read the tips that pop up within the application or on the website to get this program setup correctly. Once established, all the hard work in the settings pay off with the application giving quick & colourful summary of a work roster. As per the application description, definitely suited to shift / emergency workers. I think this is a great app & I've recommended it to my work colleagues who also have praise for the program.

Scheduler app. Excellent app. I recommend it to all those who work shift work, easy follow and use. Jeff and is very helpful :-)

Not impressed. My calendar events are coming up as new event and not titled the way I want them. Looking at the mth by mth calendar is okay but when you go into the particular event, the time hasn’t been logged and no tittle even though it has been typed in. Anything you put into the comments isn’t showing up either. Very frustrating! Please fix ASAP. Have missed appointments because of the new update.

Has everything you need. This application is very flexable when it comes to creating all kinds of rosters. On top of that, it can track your sick days, RDO's and leave. And ...something that I really like, you can use it as a log book while at work. Each event is automatically date and time stamped (it can be changed), has a title (with presets for your frequent events), a text area, and it's geotagged!! You can then view all your events on a map. That's an invaluable feature if you work all over the place. Plus, the developer is approachable and responds to e-mails - that's always a good sign.

Shift workers best friend. I'm a shift worker and this is the best app around for managing my life. Lots of features and a great help page. How many App dev's get back to you in 20min!!! Awesome. Recommended!

Very good if you are a shift worker. Easy to use and understand, simple format for rotating rosters

Very complex. The app is a little hard to understand because it has so many features. But once you work everything out there isn't a better roster application out there.

Adaptable internationally.. Although primarily developed for the US emergency services, I've found this app easy enough to adapt to the Australian 10/14 roster. It is great to also be able to add my partner's shift roster to my calender too. Takes a bit of time to tailor settings to individual needs, but once it's setup it's very easy to use. Developer is also very approachable and quick to respond to email queries.

Very well done. Scheduler isn't my first scheduling app, but it's easily the best. While some may find it a bit complicated, I prefer to think of it as incredibly thorough. Seemingly every contingency has been anticipated. Support questions to Jeff are very quickly, politely and productively answered...even if they're already covered in the FAQ section. You get what you pay for, and this is worth every cent. Great job, Jeff! Thanks!

Soooooo complicated. I bought this app based on the good reviews, but it seems like it's not for me. I found it so complicated, and I need a month course to get the hang on it :(

No iPad support. I paid a lot of money for this app and use it quite often. I'm very disappointed with the updates and support on this app. For the price they charge I had hoped that they would update this thing.

I'm very happy with this app even after using it for 2 years .. I purchased this app about 2 years ago , I use it every day and to date I haven't found any app as good , yes in some areas it might not be exactly what you need , but for overall use I'm still impressed even after 2 years .

Sched app. This app is great. For a law enforcement shift worker it is priceless. Both my wife and I are shift workers. No matter how busy the sched gets this app keeps it organized and easy to reference.

Works for us!. Played around, definitely needed to read the instructions, but I got all 5 Toronto police platoons on, paydays, holidays, can use the markers to record court, overtime 'paid duties', save assigned days off, regular days off attached to leave days. It would be nice to have a roster page to record colleagues 'need to know' info like badge numbers, platoon, company email, cells, to avoid having it all mixed in with the iPhone contacts. Also to be able to save audio/video/foto inside app with ability to email back to mother ship.

Quit Working!. Worked great until uploaded the new iOS7 now I can't edit the schedule or it kicks me out of the program entirely. Guess I'll be looking for a better adapted scheduler. Fix the bugs please!!!

Scheduler6. Before the new update this app was amazing the way it displayed my overtime and vacation was great . Since the new update it changed all my custom setting and there is no option to go back to the way it was . I don’t recommend this app at all now

Great app, great service!. Just bought the app yesterday and I can already see how it will help me keep track of my weird schedule. I had a question on how to do something, I sent an e-mail and got an answer within an hour. Now that's great service! Great app, great service! Marc

Must have!!!. This app is a must for shift workers!!! Anything you would want on a calendar is available and all customizable. From colours for different shifts or overtime or vacation to colours for appointments, training, etc. you can also back up the app so if anything happens to your phone you don't lose everything which is great. And also fantastic service from app makers. I had an issue getting my overtime shifts to show up the way I wanted so after a few emails back and forth and still not being able to figure out what I was doing wrong, they had me back up the data and send it to them. They were able to help me figure out what I was doing wrong. Again, great app!!!!! Worth every penny

GREAT App. I'm so satisfied with this app that I shared it with my co-workers. Now we are enjoying the convenience of keeping track of our irregular work schedules, shift swaps, and blending with our customized personal reminders.

Just Awesome. Takes a little time to figure out all the options and set up but the tutorial and help tab makes it dirt simple. A job well done creating this app. Could not ask for anything more.

Toronto Cop. Don't be cheap! I bought this app, and I liked it so much that I bought one for my wife's iPod and my mom's iPad. Now they can know when I'm working. It took some time to figure out, but once you get it, it's so perfect for shift workers. I used to carry a paper calendar for all my court and appointments, not any more. What a party.... No wait, thats the whiskey I'm sipping on!

Any news on ios11 update?. App is really good but now isn’t as good since iOS 11 has come out. It’s a lot slower and doesn’t show the event once you select it. Any news on a new update for the new software ?

Great app. I'm a firefighter and I love this app. It's great for keeping trade days organized and is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. Well worth the money.

Great calendar!. Really appreciate this calendars ability to incorporate my shift work.

Best calendar. This is the most amazing calendar app for firefighters. The option to add your partners schedule is perfect. The layout and options are very user friendly. It seems as though Jeff has thought of everything! Thank you for putting the effort in to create something that we can all use to make our lives easier.

Fed. Awsome application. Need the push option for event and schedule reminders. A pc option to sync with outlook calendar or google calender will make this app the best out there for a long time to come.

OT nightmare. Overtime entry used to be simple. Bank Overtime to be used for time-off later? Enter it as “OT” and it gets added to accumulated hours. Does your Banked overtime get automatically get paid out after 180 days? Enter “OT” but with a “-“ value and it subtracts the amount of hours you enter from the total. Did you work overtime on the same day as when 180 day-old overtime gets automatically paid out? Enter one “Trade” as “+ 12 hours” and another Trade as “-12 hours” and you can have these 2 “Trades” show in the logbook. Now though? Not possible. It does not allow 2 trades on the same day. Also, the default “Red” colour always has to be reset.

Good scheduler. I’ve been using it for years. It’s a pretty great schedule.

Best organizer apps. Gets better with every upgrade. I use it everyday. Awesome job Jeff.

Still not canadian firefighter friendly. Better than ifirecal but still too american making it difficult to create a Canadian firefighter schedule. Make a 4/4 schedule that is two 10hr day and two 14hr nights followed by four days off. Also add option for Canadian holidays please Thanks for all the updates! I've had thus app from day one and even with the previously mentioned shortcomings it was still the best firefighter app available. Now I think it's the greatest by far! Everyone on my job buys it once they've seen it. No more taping the shifts owed / shifts owed to me sheet to your locker door or carrying a shift card in your wallet.

What Happened??. Worse upgrade ever. Use to love scheduler now will never use again. Graphics are terrible

Good for multiple jobs. I am a shift worker with multiple jobs. This app took some time to get used to but it is great for showing me my different schedules for the month at a quick glance. Just make sure to do back ups before updating. I lost some of my info a few times

Justice Department rotational shift. Works great, love the ability to calculate, adjust, and determine my shifts, overtime, special assignments and track everything. Wish I had this earlier... Great App, for me and numerous members of my department this continues to be a great App! Kudos - keep up the great work!

Airline operations. This is a great app for tracking a schedule. I'm particularly pleased that I can also compare my wife's schedule who also works shift. Great app and when I've had questions the response has been rapid and very helpful. Thanks for a great app.

Awesome app for firefighters. Gotta get this one...everyone who has an ipod touch or phone get t once i show them mine. They try the $0.99 one and then invest in this one as it can do everything. You can make your own custom schedule, organize trades, keep track of OT and events daily and shows up with a dot so you know there is something that day. I put all my girls dance schedule as events and don't miss any of them anymore. We changed from 10/14 schedule to 24's and Jeff responds almost immediately if you need help. Life is easy wiht this app.

Excellent!. I work in the oil patch and my wife is a nurse. We both have weird shifts but this app can handle them with ease. This program is a little complicated at first but if you read the help section it makes sence later on. It is the best sched app I have found yet. The support is second to none! I have to say that Jeff has shown an incredible amount of support to this app. All the added features seem to be from customer feed back and really do work well. Good job Jeff keep up the good work! Great app and support for it. Have been using the app for the past year and a half. Even though I didn't even come close to using it in all its potential (just don't have time to set it all up), even the very basic functions made my life so much easier. Very visual app, which is also a plus. And support is phenomenal! I had trouble getting back all my data after an update and had to e-mail the app support for help. I got a reply with an easy solution literally within minutes!!!! Great work guys!

Best schedule app for shift workers!. Easy to create schedules and track vacation, sick days, shift exchanges, overtime, appointments. This app has it all.

App for crazy RN schedules. I'm a RN and this is a great app! I've been looking for an app that I don't waste my money on due to lack of features and I finally found it! I wanted to be able to visualize my schedule every 2 weeks by having a solid background colour and different colours in it to indicate my days/nights/evening shifts so I know my hours in a 2 week pay period. You can also put in OT, vacation, sick days, pay days, notes (appointments) etc. I've seen the other apps and it doesn't have as many options as this! The best part as well is the VERY quick help you get from Jeff when you have trouble setting up your schedule. The app is complicated at first but you gotta play with it to know it! Awesome app, it's more expensive than the others but totally worth my money!!!

KINDLY UPDATE. This app is by far the best scheduler or calendar I have ever used for my shift schedules. Been using this app since 2011. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because it badly needs an update for my XS max and the new OS compatibility.

ok but not great. OK app, does not cover all types of shifts well ie. split shifts! Service is poor and is just someone e-mailing you back to tell you to use the help button? probably would have been happier with cheaper/simpler shift calendar!

Good general app. I have been using this app for about 4 years now to keep track of shifts and trades . It is basic and serves my purpose well . Points to improve would be auto updating my wife's phone some how , so she has a copy of shift trades and shift cover events .

LOVE IT. LOVE THIS APP! Im a RN and my husband is a firefighter... It allows us to have both of our shifts displayed on one calendar so I know when we are both working. This makes it easier to plan events in the current and in the future! Easy to use once you get the hang of it! Love how it syncs with special dates and events from iCal!

Repeating events. I used to love this app, but not anymore. My repeating events just delete itself for some reasons. I entered my repeating events several times but after several they all disappear

Loved it for years. I’ve used this app for many years and love it. But the iCal doesn’t work anymore. Every time you try to add an event the app crashes 😞

Busy. Great job! The only thing that I would like to see added is a reminder tone. Keep up the good work.

shift worker. This app is well worth the money! I love how it syncs with my ical on my iPhone and how easy it is to see my schedule colour codes for weeks at a time. I don't use it to it's full capacity by a long way. It is a bit tricky to get set up because it's capable of so much, but anytime I have had a question I just fire off an email and I get a response with with a quick easy answer within hours! Love it

Great, but..... Been using this app for years. It serves it's purpose and has been great, with some great features. However, it would be great, and could easily be the best calendar app out there, if iCloud sync was an option. Without this feature I can't imagine it can get 5 stars.

Super. By far the best app for cops. I've worked some weird shifts and it keeps me sorted out. I also love how it syncs with my other calendars automatically.

Great for shift working couple!. Works great for me. It really helps. I now know when my wife and I are working 2 years from now. My wife and I are shift workers with odd schedules that repeat (nurse and firefighter). I've been looking for an app to keep track of both schedules and this does it. The setup took some time, but the tutorial mode walks you through it. I later emailed Jeff with a couple of minor issues and suggestions. He got back to me the same day! Most tweaks are already on the way and he solved my issues by showing me other ways to use the app. It seems he really wants to get it right. Great support. Recommended. Would still like to see a drag and drop feature for swapped shifts and an optional list view.

Police officer, CT. This is a MUST HAVE ap for any police officer ( firefighter, EMT). Although some reviews have indicated it is hard to set up, I did not have a hard time with it- just read the instructions as it works a little differently than other calenders out there. I was able to figure out most of the settings, but when I had a question I emailed the creator and he got back to me a short time later. I have strongly recomended this to all of my co workers with iPhones. AWESOME AP!

Make it great!!. Please continue to involve this app more as a personal planner too!! It'll be great once it's an all in one app. Push alerts!!! When are we going to get push alerts!? Only app for the "dupont" schedule!. Only app I have found that works for the dupont schedule and I love it! Took a few minutes to figure out but it works great. This is not an app for the 9 to 5 worker. Thank u for including the dupont style schedule, now I dont have to carry a piece of paper in my wallet.

Need to Backup to iCloud!!!!. From the perspective of both an iOS developer and Fire Fighter, this app is everything you could want from a schedule app to track shifts. One thing I would like is a way to synch to iCloud and better synching with the iCal. Not sure if the current Framework allows this yet, however this would be extremely useful so that all my devices could be synced. Finally, I would also like to see the native calendar look and feel applied to this app. Make it look like a well-polished app with hi-res imagery.

Don't waste money for this program. I purchased this program to manage my schedule. But this program was horrible. Although I have 5 years experience as a software engineer, I don't know how this program works. I also send the e-mail to the support to ask questions, but they did not reply. Don't buy this program. It is waste of money. there are many free scheduler program that is much better than this, such as iKoyomi.

Great App. I am firefighter and this app really helps my wife and I keep track of our crazy schedules. It helps keep track of OT, swaps, sick and vacation time. Just get that alert feature and it would be even better! Nice job!

Great App. Very useful for my 12 hr work schedule. Used by others at my job. Make sure you back up your info regularly. Transferred easily to my iPad. Gonna have to see if I can put it on my desktop.

Fantastic app!. Every firefighter should have this app!! Not only are there plenty of pre set schedules, having the ability to create a custom schedule (I have a 90 day schedule so absolutely necessary), log calls, track vacation/sick time and so much more! This app is indispensible to me and all the other iPhone users in my department. I think the guy complaining below must have written the other schedule program, which is garbage, because I had no problem figuring this app out. Thumbs down to your review buddy.

Great App for FF schedule. This is the perfect app for the recurring schedule of a firefighter. Takes a little time to figure out and set up, but once you get everything input it is awesome. It also links with iCal, so anything input into iCal automatically shows up in Scheduler. Help is fantastic as well, I emailed a question to the app designer and had a response back within 5 minutes with an answer. Get this app, it is well worth it and you won't be disappointed!

AWESOME APP. This is the most comprehensive scheduler app for paublic safety schedules. Once you figure out all of the options it will blow your mind. It arranges my entire life with the tap of the screen. Support is an email away and returned very quickly. A MUST HAVE!!!!

Great app. Once you get a hang of this app it is a MUST HAVE. Yes it is difficult at first, but that is because we have crazy schedules! The best thing is that the product support is amazing. I use to enter my schedule in my phone by hand for each day, what a pain. Now with one cycle set up my schedule is in there for the next 24 months. Spend the money and save your aggravation.

Worth the effort. It takes a good deal of work to understand the interface, but once you do, this app is invaluable. I have work schedules at three different hospitals color-coded for each facility's day and night shifts, with travel days, overtime pay, personal appointments, and major events identifiable at a glance. Tip: if your schedule is as crazy as mine, put in the effort to learn the ironically more difficult 'doofus' mode - it makes all the difference.

Hey! An actual useful app!. The is a very well done app. I work a five week rotation shift cycle and I had no problems making it work. It is great to see my schedule in a simple visual. There is additional info on the web site and the developer does email you back.

Best FF scheduler yet!!. Tried another app but it wasn't customizable to my 9 squad days and nights scehdule. This one is and it's the best!! Now my shifts and my mutual partner's shifts are with me all the time!! Took a second to figure it out and now it's very easy to use!!! Highly recommended!!

Awesome app for public safety. ANOTHER UPDATE!!!!!! For those leaving bad reviews, when all else fails read the instructions! I hate to see idiots giving great apps bad reviews without asking for help. I work 24/48 EMS shift and this thing was easy to set up! Tracks my accrued vacation and sick including subtracting used, swaps, events, uses gps to track event locations and much more! Actually what does it not do? I have contacted programmer and always gotten prompt replies with answers. Always improving with updates! Keep it up, great app! Update: keeps getting better! Keep it up Jeff!

Excellent program for fire service!. I work 24-48 and my girlfriend works 48-96. It set both our schedules up in different colors with the press of 3 buttons. I love how it keeps track of trades, who I owe and who owes me. Accurials my vacation time automatically on the last day of every month and subtracts hours whenever I take a day. Great to have that running total. 6 seperate markers to mark paydays, kid days, etc Only thing I would add would be another category for sick time using the exact same set up as vacation. This is my first review of any app and it is because this is so perfect!

Best app for shift workers. This is a great scheduler for any shift worker. There IS a learning curve, but once you explore what this can do you'll never regret it. It took me a couple hours to get my schedule right. But once I did I was able to program my wife's in 10 minutes. Thank you. Just the schedule I was looking for!!!

NOT user friendly. For my job this is a great app. Although it's not very user friendly when in Einstein mood to setup schedule automatically. I found that the days were offset after the first month. Highly recommend using it in Doofus mood and set your schedule manually. Once you become familiar with using this app you will love it!

Great schedule app!. I have looked, and have not found very many scheduling programs that seem to be designed by someone who has had first hand experience with a shift workers schedule. I needed a scheduler that could handle a 28 day rotation. Not only does this app do that, but it also is configurable in several other ways. You can keep it simple, or add as much to it as you want. Nice! It is worth every penny.

Very cool. This is a very good app for EMS personnel. My service has a non-standard 12 hour schedule and this app picked it up. This is what I've been looking for. Like the developer said, if you have problems, read the directions. I went to the website and it was very useful.

Great. It's the best calendar App for police, fire and EMS. There is a little learning curve but once you get it......you'll wonder how you lived without it. I have my next two years of work scheduled and can share it or look it up whenever I need to make plans. It also works with my iPhone calendar which makes it even better.

Excellent App. Used the IAFF app and viewed a couple of others that friends had. This one seemed more customizable than the others. I work a traditional 24/48 at the fire department, but also work every 6th at the ambulance and it worked GREAT for scheduling that. It IS a bit confusing to learn, but didn't take long to figure it out. Thanks for the great app!

Scheduler saves lives!. My wife being a nurse and me being a firefighter, be just about have the most unforgiving schedule out there that a couple could have. The scheduler allows me to keep track of every event and wife work day and day I have to work, that it easily allows me to plan things in my life better then any other calendar I've tried. Worth the money, I use it for everything, plus their always updating and adding to this app. I gave it 4 starts because it takes a little patience to set up, wish the just had a start up tutorial rather then a bunch of example data you end up erasing anyways.

Very Sweet Scheduler. Heard about this from a buddy, I work a very odd 28 day rotating cycle so was a lil confusing but after emailing my schedule to him he quickly replied back with an answer and now everything is smooth. Love all the options as well. Well worth the money!!! Thanks

Can't live without this. This is the best scheduling app. I use it everyday to keep track of our life. My husband and I are both in ems and this app works perfect for us. I can even add events to keep track of my Childrens school and sports schedules. Thanks!!!

Perfect. I just brought Scheduler over to my new Iphone and saw that I have been using this for 4 years now and I couldn't live without it. Most of my department uses this scheduling app. It's perfect for the fire service. Trust me on this; download it, play with it, and in 20 minutes, you can see your schedule, your vacation time, your sick time, etc.

From a professional firefighter. I've tried several of the other shift calendars out there and this is by far the BEST there is. Very user friendly and customizable. Tech support is 2nd to NONE. I contacted Jeff and within 15 minutes I had a response with an answer to my question.

Learning curve steep but worth it!!!. This is a much needed app for firefighters and public safety personnel. It's a little difficult to learn to use but with a little patience it can be done in about 30 min. Once it's set up very user friendly. Great App!!!

Best firefighter scheduler out there!. I've tried several schedulers out there and this one is by far the best. It is very customizable and it has a ton of features. Also, the developer is really good at answering questions and giving help. This app takes a little bit of time to learn but once you learn it you won't be able to live without it.

Finally a good work schedule app. Working a weird schedule is a pain inputting it into the iPhone calendar. This app takes a little time to get the hang of, but keeps track of all my hours. It even tells me what days I'm working next year before I get my wallet calendar from my supervisor.

Good but complex. I work the southern swing shift and I like that I can have my schedule on hand and this does that. It's also nice to use to keep track of my vacation time and sick days. The only draw back I've found is the fact that it's so complicated to navigate. I've about got it all figured out now but I was pulling hair out for a while. If it would have been a free app I would have deleted it after about an hour but for what it cost I was a little more dedicated. All in all it's a good overly complicated app.

Deputy. This is a Great app!! One I will absolutely purchase again with a new IPhone! This has made it so much easier to schedule things on my days off. I also had questions when I first purchased the app and received immediate assistance from the creator. For the next update I would only like to see something where I could keep track of my comp time when it is earned on holidays.

Great for long shift cycles!. Okay, it takes a bit of experimenting but I've got this app holding my schedule data for now up to may 2010! I have shift cycles that last two months/56 days and I was getting tired of carrying around an extra PDA with another calendar! For me this meets my needs. Thnx!

Exactly what I was looking for. Between working a rotating schedule and being in the National Guard I literally had to carry around a pen and paper planner to keep everything straight. The wizard mode in this program nailed my Pitman schedule perfectly and the labels allow me to mark in drill dates so I can tell at a glance what I have coming up. There are a lot of little extras from vacation hour tracking and even money owed for meals. It's a truly great program.

Great app. I've been using this app for at least the last year - it's a lifesaver. I no longer have to carry a pocket calendar with me to know when I'm working. I work a 48on/96off with 3 shifts, and I'm able to add in OT shifts, trades. I absolutely LOVE how it keeps track of accumulated and used vacation time for me - I depend more on this than I do our HR department! Being able to add in a spouse's schedule is an added bonus. Give this app a try - it will take some patience to get it set up for your specs at first, but it is WORTH IT!

I've looked everywhere for an app that accomidates a firefighters schedule and here it is. if you are a public service worker this app is for you. takes a little bit to figure it out but once you do it's golden. if you have problems email first, he got back to me quick. thanks for the app!

This is a MUST have!. Honestly, this app is the best iPhone app I have ever seen. This does what it should, does it well, and the help and FAQs are as well designed. Everything can be customized it seems, so you can make it look and work the way you want. Nothing comes close, this IS the one to get.

Awesome app. This is a great application and keeps getting better. Easily keeps track of trades, overtime, sick leave and vacation. Easy to set up and numerous schedules to choose from. Track other schedules if your significant other is on a schedule that isn't your typical 9-5.

Not bad at all. I just got this app. As a firefighter I looked for something like this to keep track of my schedule both at the station and my second job. Seems a little hard when you start, but just play with it for a while and you'll get it. I'm sure I'll find more I can do with it the more I use it. Nice job!

Great service!. Good app for firefighters. Syncs with all my google calendars through the stock iPhone calendar. Quick customer service when I had a question. Emailed him on Sunday and had a response in minutes.

Scheduler. My wife and I are both Respiratory Therapists who work different shifts in a hospital. In addition, I have a second job with different shifts. This app keeps our work schedule organized so we can plan our time as a family. I use this app everyday and would be lost without it. I highly recommend it to anyone who works a shift schedule.
