GREAT APP!!!. I was skeptical at first, but I said "what the hell it's only 99 cents". It's well worth it. I get to listen too my old stomping ground south central L.A. You see, I use to have a pro 96 model scanner back in L.A., so I could listen to all the ruckus going on around me. Then I moved to Atlanta and I could no longer hear all them crazy 4 tone alerts. Now I can hear them from anywhere in America. For 99 muthaf**kin cents!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!

Developer support doesn’t even exist. Downloaded and it won’t even open. Tried going to app developer support page and they don’t even have a domain anymore. Apple should be ashamed for even allowing scammers like this on the App Store to sell their junk.

Best of the Scanner APS. FAR better than other Scanner APP in itunes. I own both Scanners. Although this one is CHEAPER, it works much better, has a way better selection, and a spot to add your own stream if you have a local scanner website URL you want to listen to. Nice APP. Obviously wish their were more options in SEATTLE, SOUTH SEATTLE, and KING COUNTY SHERIFFS, however I have two stations now that offer me a good bit of content. Keep adding stuff in Washington. Good APP!

Empty. Bought it and literally nothing is listed, anywhere. Directory is completely blank.

Best scanner radio app. This is a "crowded" field, but after havin purchased all, this is the best: nightly updates of feeds, reporing of online/offline status, background play and most of all, extremely good sound quality. Highly recommended.

Best Scanner App Yet. Loads Fast and sorry to say it's better than Emergency Radio and Police Scan you get all the NYPD freqs all and everything works even Boston PD the other 2 Scanner Programs are always offline or just don't work. I would pay 5 bucks for this app if I had to but for 99 cents you can't go wrong. Buy it you'll like it trust me

Does nothing. When the app opens it does nothing. There are no listings and no way to get listings. Seems like abandonware. Bought it by accident thinking it was a similar app a friend was using.

Get the real scoop. This app is great for all you freq'rs. Hear what's going on locally or in the biggest cities of America as it's happening! Very addicting. Let it play in the background while at work and especially on the late shift. Working at the local gas mart? Wouldn't you like to know what's goin' down in your vicinity? I recommend this app highly.

Zero stars if I could. I gave it a chance bc I thought it was the one my dad had; Nope ! nothing comes up! All blank!! Wasted $

Rip Off. Take your choice: 1. Buy this app 2. Flush a dollar down the toilet. At least option Two gives you 10 seconds of entertainment.

Good app limited by Apple. This is another app that needs to be able to run in the background. It's too bad Apple feels the need to c-block anything that might compete with them. This app is basically an online feed player. The complaints about availability, quality and seperating the combined feed are not under the developers control. I like that they allow you to add any mp3 or m3u feed manually. I have added several ATC feeds. Unfortunately, the feeds work better if I access them from Safari. Safari opens the feed in QuickTime and stays up in the background. I still feel that this app was worth the $.99. It's quicker to use this when you want to go through a lot of feeds to find the good stuff.

Nothing. It gives you tabs of options but every single tab is blank.

Terrible. Waste

Solid 4 Stars for my iPod Touch !!. Pretty good application, all the way around. I have both Emergency Radio and this one, I have to say the "clarity" is better on this one. Pretty clear on my end. I can understand both sides of the conversation. The problem with the Emergency Radio application, is the fact that many times you can not hear it very good. This one seems to be pretty clear. I'm a ham radio operator and I have professional scanners as well. I like the app, because I can take it on the go with my iPod Touch and listen when I travel, etc. and I don't have to bring any of my radios. I would say it's a solid 4 stars. I don't have an iPhone, so not sure about how it does with that. One thing that I have noticed is that a lot of people never really say what they have, they just comment on it. Make sure you say if you have problems with the iPhone or the iPod Touch. Many times I see bad reviews on an iPhone application and it plays fine on the Touch.

Junk. A total waste of money at least for me. Go to radio reference, nothing listed for my state. Go to shout cast scanner, list my state capital but it says it cannot stream this channel. It is completely worthless for me.

5 stars - Excellent. This app works great. I see a lot of disappointed reviews from people on this app because they expect too much from it. Peolpe are always talking about the poor quality they seem to get and nothing close in there area. Everybody thats complaining all had the chance to go on-line and review the coverage areas first hand before purchasing this app. As far as the quality goes, I've listened to scanners my whole life and I hear the same poor quality once in awhile on regular scanners also. This is very common among scanners today because most sites are running on 800 band trunked systems today. Back before when scanners all ran on 400 ban and lower the quality of reception was much greater. This app works just as good as my quality 1000 channel dual trunking hand held scanner but without the bulky ness to carry around. I would recommend this scanner app to anyone that is thinking about about purchasing it.

Some troubles. I love this app, and being able to quickly find feeds from a large number of agencies. However, the audio is choppy, I lose a lot of the audio intermittently, and after some period of time, the audio tends to stop all together. It appears the program is still recognizing different input- i.e. the display will change from dist 4 to nw disp. to dist 3 ems, etc, however there is no audio output. This happens occasionally as soon as 5 minutes after queueing a feed, sometimes not till 20 or 30 minutes later, but happens on various feeds. If I pause the feed, then restart it, it will buffer again and audio is restored. Not a total killer, but a bummer to be sure. I am running version 4.0 on a 3gs with 4.01 OS. Thanks, hope to see a fix soon!

Worthless trash. Don’t buy this app. Wasted 99 cents, app won’t run on any of my devices and there is nobody available to address the issue. Shame on Apple for allowing worthless apps like this to be sold in the App Store.

Great!!!!. This app is the best! And for .99cents wow! I bought my scanner for 200 and I can't even get all the channels this app has! For .99cents you get the whole united states and some! Can't believe people complain! Can your scanner do what this app can do? And can it fit in your pocket? Great app.

Great app!. As a scanner buff for over 30 years, I also own almost all the scanner apps. The best thing about this app are the number of feeds to choose from (it seems to have them all!) and the ability to share what you are listening to via facebook and twitter. That's a good feature. It's not my favorite scanner app (though it is in the top 3) because I am not crazy about the GUI. It's rather plain. And moreso, I recently discovered another scanner app that actually scans multiple feeds for activity the same way a real scanner does. I've gotten spoiled with that feature. That being said, this is a solid app. I'll love it when the developers combine all the best features into a single app. 5 stars for the selection alone and the ability to add custom feeds.

COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY - I am reporting to Apple. iPhone app seems like a scam. The main window in the app is completely blank with icons at the bottom which when clicked on opens another blank window.

Waiting on an update!. This app has alot of potential, but it has a bug which causes it to crash and is unreliable at best. I was satisfied when I purchased this app about a year ago. My city was not online yet but I was content listening to surrounding areas. Shortly after, I was pleased to find my city on this apps list! After getting use to having my city's scanner radio right on my phone, I was obviously pretty bummed out when it stopped allowing me to listen to it (Waco). There's some major technical issues which need fixed, but I will be keeping the app in the hopes of having Waco online again soon! Unless u live in a major city which is listed on the page, I would hold off on purchasing this app.

Waste of money!. Sure glad it was only $0.99! The app didn’t have anything on it. My guess is nothing available in my area. Would have been nice to know before. It literally had nothing!

Worth the money.. I work in the emergency service field and recommend this app to everyone I work with. It would be nice to have a shorter delay and to be able to add frequency codes if you've got them, but other than that I love it. It's the best scanner app available.

Not a true scanner. The use of the word "scanner" would make you think that you can choose multiple stations that are scanned. Like the one in a patrol car or from Midland etc. Not true. Knowing that, it works very well with a single station at a time that you select.

Piece of garbage, stopped working. This app used to work decently, it was a little glitchy and crashed sometimes but it usually worked. At that time I would have given it 4 stars. Now it doesn't work at all. Sometimes when you open it, it will play the scanner for about 5 seconds before it goes dead but most of the time it doesn't play anything at all. I wrote the developer and requested that they fix it in my city (Yakima, WA) or that they refund my money. They never responded. Don't download this app because there's a chance it won't work and you'll be SOL on getting your money back. Buy an app with better ratings...there are a lot of good ones out there.

This is almost perfect. This app is the best scanner apps but I would love to be able to put my own frequency feed for whatever police or fire or whatever it may be I have a book for all the feed frequencies for like a real scanner when u have to actually put them in and it'd be great to do it on any of these scanner apps, thank u for making this one it's great

Great App!. Certainly not the flashiest scanner app I have seen, but this one does offer the most channels to listen to and seems to always be updated and accurate for finding online agencies! I have bought 5 scanner apps, some offer some different bells and whistles which are very nice, but this app offers the most to frequencies to listen to! Some record, some offer maps, some offer outdated and often inaccurate 10 codes, some show how many listeners are listening, some even look more like a real scanner, some have "banks" and let you listen to more than one channel at a time, and some let you run the app in the background while you still have access to your other apps. Maybe they can incorporate the best features of all the scanner apps in future updates! Thanks!

I really enjoy this app!. For the price, who can complain? This app is so easy to use, my blind relatives could probably use it. I haven't had any of the problems that some people here are complaining about. My fave stations are the Chicago police and the Vegas police. A great app at a great price!

scanner. Not a bad scanner, great training tool as well for future captains, a/c, lt, etc. However I bought this for Ontario frequency but disappointed that it only has Waterloo Ont. Please add Toronto fire and surounding York region like Markham, Vaughan etc. Missisauga, Brampton fire would also be nice. Great app otherwise guys! please please update. Thanx!!

Good. . . But . . .. App works allright , but there is very limited Canadian content. Where is the Vancouver police? All the major US cities have feeds. Why not Canada? It tends to crash a littlte too often. This APP needs work. Update please!

Crash City. I tried uploading my own url and now everytime I try and listen the app crashes. WHAT GIVES??? This app only has 1 NYPD freq and it's a citywide sod channel. To the creaters of this app; please take the time to add all the nypd channels not just one. This app should be about quality not quantity. Who cares about a small town in the middle of nowheresville. Please fix this app. Thank you

Great app but needs more connecticut.... It does what it says which is great and def worth the money but would be 5 stars if they would add New Britain, CT police and fire. PLEEEEEEAAASE lol. Great app!

Incredible. Nearly flawless app. I hope more and more folks add their own streams. My only suggestion is to have the app open to the "Favorites" tab instead of the "Categories" tab. This should save on load time.

Wasted Money. My advice . . . Do not waste your dollar. I got screwed, as this only works part of time and sound is so low you can hardly hear it, and yes I had the volume turned up all the way, and still could not hear it. Don't waste your money.

DO NOT BUY. I bought this because the Emergency Radio app is terrible. I live in Seattle, so my stream is listed. But this application DOES NOT WORK. It says it's playing the stream, but nothing happens. Half the time it says the stream is down. The stream is NOT down - google the web for Seattle Police Radio, and you can listen 24/7. AVOID THIS APP.

Great APP. Would appreciate u adding Eaton county fire, rescue and police in michigan. This covers many cities and of course I am on one of the fire dept. This is getting better all the time, just keep adding more areas

Thousand of scanners. This app rocks! I can easily listen to the police radio in my neighborhood, plus listening to other police and EMS around the country is really fun. AN in foreign countries too, and it is all "live". At 99c, it is a great value.

Great App if you live in a big county. I only get the fire department Orange county Fire department, I am not sure if it is just the fire department becuase it sounds like a police station as well. Kinda confusing. Besides that the stream will drop when the people are talking sometimes.

Great app for hurricane situations. I am listening to NYC Police and FDNY Manhattan. You must have this app in these kinds of situations as it works also with 3G and EDGE.

App works great. Good app. Works fine. Too bad the Fort Worth PD is always offline, but that's not the fault of the app or the developers. They just stream existing scans. Thanks for the neat program, I'll keep watching for my town to come online!

Great App! 4 Stars.. So far it's a great app but would be better if there was a stop button instead of a pause button. While app is still running and in pause mode, phone service resets and stream reconnects unexpectively. Should stop the stream comletely while in pause/stop mode. Hopefully that can be fixed asap. I like this app. Awesome. The stuff is really live. Just listened to Redondo Beach police. Very interesting. Useful to find out what is going on in your neighborhood.

Good until last update. App was awesome, then last week after an update none ofvthe new channels I wanted worked and all of the older ones I used to listen to stopped working after 5 min!!!

Best scanner radio app. This is an area where there are a lot of apps and I got them all, but this one is my favorite. I love tis app and it gives the right data from radio reference, great quality audio. Thanks makers.

Scanner Review. One of the better scanner apps out there. Clear quality, and quick load time. Drawback: cannot get several cities ems, police, fire feeds.

Better than others. Unfotunately I downloaded Emergency Radio app first but the audio quality is poor and there aren't nearly as many feeds as this app. This app has well over 1,000 feeds and more importantly you can add your own! Audio quality is great and load times are fast. The only thing I would like to see added is a list of 10 codes so you can decipher some of the lingo used in the calls. Otherwise a great app! For $0.99 this app is a steal.

Works better than the others. It's nice to be able to add more stations, though I wish the built-in scanner did this for me. At least this works more than the others. Keep the updates coming-this can be a very powerful app. Thanx!

Live radio all the way. The J8483 guy hasn't a cue of what he is talking about. I have totally live scanners following LAPD, LAX and Redondo Beach and South Bay PD. All the streams are from RadioReference, which is simply the best live fire, Police and EMS on the planet.

If you have free time. Well guess it's not bad if you have some free time and you enjoy hearing people and their business, bug free and no issues encountered at all, and I guess it's cheaper than buying a thousand dollar scanner like I did.

My county doesn't stream. Beware of these programs. Unless u live in a huge city, u get nothing.. No city channels, and Will county says, "stream doesn't respond" it's been saying that since I bought it.. what a waste of $$.

Great!. This is a great app! I live in a smaller community & we are included! If you're unsure of your local availability, go to th e website before purchasing. The audible quality is the same as my $60 scanner at home! Extremely impressed!

Doesn't Broadcast All Audio!. I am a feed provider and this app does not broadcast all audio. It is intermittent at best. I am listening to my scanner that is broadcasting the feed and listening to this app at the same time and the app is very choppy. I tried other apps that work perfectly. Pleas fix ASAP!

Great but...... Needs a update. Please add FHP (Florida highway patrol) also plze fix the app so I can listen and still use other things on my pone.
