Changed phones and lost data. I’ve had this service for years. Changed from an iPhone 5 to iPhoneX and all my documents were saved. Changed from an iPhone X to an XS...No problem. Changed again a month ago due to an iPhone problem and now I lost all my documents. It looks like you have to pay now to store documents in the cloud. If this is a new change then they should have alerted all users. I click on settings now and it says that I have to upgrade to Pro to use features that I have been using for years!

Works well but can’t get what I paid for.. Works as described but I paid for the pro version. When I got a new phone it would not download. Contacted jot not. They say to contact Apple. Contacted Apple and they say to contact Jot Not. It is cheap and I could just buy it again but I refuse to reward the developer for their mistake so I am back to using the free version. Just know that pro version is only good until you get a new phone.

Perfect PDF scanner. Great functionality, filters, and ease of use. It takes picture of anything and creates multiple page ODF documents that you can then email, save to the cloud, or photos all within the app. I recommend it.

Very useful scanner. Very good app where you can convert documents into a PDF and e mail them off. Good if you have a document that's only a few pages that you want to scan. I wish it would automatically convert everything to your iPad. They should create an iPad version of this app.

Been using this for years and it’s my fav. I’ve been using JotNot since they were going be if the few scanning apps and it has never let me down. I recommend it highly!

Works better than any physical scanner I’ve ever used. Twenty years I’ve been in IT and I have yet to find a single scanner that works better than this one app. The only thing I could wish for more is that they’d either create a finance app that can capture an image of a receipt or they’d license it out to MoneyWiz’s people. (Their money management app is great but their receipt image capture is terrible!)

Great app. I’ve used this app for more than two years. App works extremely well. I had one issue with fax credits and customer service responded quickly and fixed it immediately.

Use it everyday. I have used JotNot for at least the past four years. I love that I can email all the documents for free or fax, when necessary, for supercheap. The best part is I can take a picture of something and turn it into a black-and-white copy and adjust the level of contrast so it's really nice and clear for the recipient to read. This is such a great app for my small bookkeeping business.

Easy and reliable. Highly recommend. I have tried other scanner apps, none of them are as easy to use and consistently make my scans look like they were done on a computer.

The fastest way to make good pdf’s. By merely taking a picture of a piece(s) of paper, JotNot creates a pdf that looks like it was scanned by a real scanner. And the app has only gotten better. Possibly the most useful app I have.

Fantastic Utility. I remember having to drive to a store to send a critical document. No more needing to own your own personal fax and a paying for a landline. No more sending bad pictures of paperwork people cannot accept. This takes the image of the form you capture and makes it appear like a PDF. I am so happy to be able to email or fax forms out as soon as possible. It’s an absolute necessity. I have never had any problem with it ever. Great job with this utility.

Love it. Very useful for my calc two class online submission, also use it to store recipes and notes for class. Very clear for a phone PDF scanner, and has handy built in share feature.

Huge value!!. I LOVE JotNot!! It saves me so much time & money too. Being able to take a pic of documents & fax or email them with my phone is genius. I use it weekly to send my calendar of availability to my managers & have also used it for bank documents, & a credit card dispute I had to deal with. It is so nice to not have to go into town to use a copy & mail service. Technology has come so far over the last 10 years & this is just one more way to simplify life as we know it. Well worth the $4.99 I paid to upgrade the app & have unlimited access.

Life saver. I can’t say enough good things about Jot Not app. It was a life saver for me. I was at a showing and the client wanted the house There was a mock on the door and a person stopped by wanting to see the house that had only been on the market for 1 hour. I told him he would need to call the company on the for sale sign to set up an appt to show but to him. We sat at the kitchen table and wrote up the offer and thanks to Jot Not it was faxed to the company and the offered was signed and was a contract within the next hour. Without jot not that would not have happened instead of jot not I call it jot not - joy now Cynthia

Super handy. I’ve used this app for years and it’s been a lifesaver on more than one occasion I pay the extra few bucks so I have all of the bells and whistles but I really love it and think it’s well worth every penny

What would I do without JotNot?. It’s amazing how often I have used this, dealing with form-heavy issues like a home sale, taxes and divorce! So much better than just taking photos, with it’s clear conversion to black and white or grayscale. This app never comes off my phone.

HUGE time saver for receipt tracking!. Switching from my boat anchor scanner to jot not brought me into the mobile digital scanner era!! On average for a weeks’ worth of travel expense receipt tracking, I’ve saved at least 1/2 day futzing with the paper and merging pdf files online. Don’t even spend a minute thinking about using this app...just use it!

Good but. Love this app however it would be nice to have the scan and save button be in the same place. When scanning in a bunch of receipts at a time it's a pain to touch several different places to move to the next screen

Still the Best app ever. I have used it for over 5 years!!! Super awesome. I have been using this app for years and it is a blessing. Has made many situations much more simple than they could have been! I use it every single day

Great tool for mobile office. Sometimes the email feature doesn’t work but this is overall a very handy tool for mobile office needs! Scan and send docs from your car!

Excellent. Even the free version is awesome! I use this for my business constantly. It keeps me looking professional when I’m on the road and do t have access to scanners or fax machines! Its definitely super useful.

I use it al the time.. still using after 4 years. Jot Not was recommended when I first got my iPhone. It took me a while to start using it but now I love it. I travel frequently and have to keep the receipts. When the receipt come I scan it right away. For one trip I can put all the receipts together in one file. If you get things in at different time they too get attached together. Just got the pro version so I can print individual pages. I'm still using it 4 years later. I have it on phone and iPad... I have to file Trip reports frequently and while I've only had one go missing after it was filed...I had a copy in JotNot. Still using it exclusively for making PDF copies of paper receipts and documents. Great for organizing receipts for an event into one file. 2018 now probably 5 years of use.

Turns iPhone into a mobile office. Being able to convert docs do pdf and scan and email or fax is huge! Have not had any issues with recipients having trouble with opening the docs, either!

The best and quick scanning app. I've only just used JotNot for almost 2 years Now it's simple take a pic and email to anyone. Can also fax if needed via the app. I like that it stores my previous docs for future use. Totally recommend instead of having to pay per page for documents.

So glad I discovered it. In the world of pdf, this is the app that I have used for the past 5+ years. Faster then walking to the scanner, if you have one available while traveling. Best 3 bucks I have ever spent.

Excellent. A coworker recommended this program and it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Maybe even better. I’d highly recommend anybody that needs to scan a document to obtain this program.

Can't say enough. I love this app. I never rate any apps, because honestly, it is a waste of time. The creator usually never acts on criticism, or improves the app to work properly. EXCEPT JotNot. This app works exactly as it should and the only issues you will see with it, stem from the iOS not the app. Expense reports are a pain no matter how you must do them. JotNot makes it MUCH easier. Never had a problem, and based on my experience with this app, I do not forsee ever having any. HIGHLY RECOMMEND JotNot!

Makes my life as a teacher so much easier. I love this app! It is so easy for me to scan class handouts and post to the class website! This way I don’t have to worry about making additional copies for make-up work! I also love being able to fax documents via my phone!

Used to love it. Lost all of my documents when I upgraded phones. Backup was turned on, but they didn’t transfer. Scanned two documents with the new phone and now the app says I have reached the maximum number of scans. It is now a useless app without paying to upgrade. I don’t need the upgrade features, just a basic scanner to scan and store documents.

Changed my life. I was buried in papers and worry about keeping parts! Spent $5 on this, got a small shredder and my life is totally different! We have a place to put “needs to be scanned” and “needs to be shredded” (essentially the same place - we shred one we’ve scanned/uploaded) and it makes life so much easier - especially when out and need to look “something” up. Honestly, it changed our entire home filing/mail org system!!

Bought premium, but app crashes constantly. Excellent app when it works. I paid $7 for premium, as I need to scan lots of papers to submit to an online class. Any time I try to scan 15 or more pages, the app crashes. Every time. Even after closing the app and restarting my phone entirely. A little disappointing given how much I paid.

Excellent. Good quality and very convenient. Worth the upgrade to pro. This was very helpful during a recent real estate acquisition - sending documents to the bank. I use it to store all my important documents.

After years, still useful and relevant. PDF scanner on your phone, can scan several items and merge into single document. This app is one of the few I have purchased that still performs the task for which it was originally purchased, unlike so many apps that were great for a year or two, only to dissolve and disappear.

Love JotNot!. Working from home I no longer have scanning capabilities with my printer. With JotNot, it’s not necessary! I can be anywhere and able to scan documents, then email them to others. Awesome !

Use it almost daily!. This is the Little App That Can! I use it for legal docs, saving things for travel, for reading, for sharing, you name it. We used it when we bought and sold our homes and for lots of school-related items. I have recommended it countless times.

Love It. I’ve been using this app for years to document my tax receipts. Whether traveling for work or back at home I find it super helpful to empty my pockets of receipts and get them into JotNot with an expense description. I hate doing taxes (I know, join the club) but thanks to JotNot I stay a little saner come April.

Good Tool. I have been used this App for a couple of years and I love the way I can do everything from my phone, this app works well even saving information and important documents that I did years ago.

Horrible Update. Daily use app for me, as many others have already said, the update workflow is NOT intuitive. Figuring out how to go back and edit previous pages is a royal pain. The way it worked before was way more intuitive. The multi-select feature is nice but don’t RUIN the core functionality of a great app just to add a cool new feature. WON’T be recommending this until this crappy workflow is fixed.

I Keep finding more uses for this app. I have a paperless office and this app makes my smartphone is a great mobile scanner. Also very handy while traveling, to scan a few pages of something for the folks back home (menus, tourist attraction signs, anything that works better as a scan than a photo). Can also seamlessly upload the scans to my Dropbox without leaving the app.

Delivered. I teach online and had to get 3 research forms to a student cross country. My office didn't have a scanner but my iPhone did! Perfect pictures, easy concatenation of documents and straight to her via emailed PDF. Booyah! I love it when things work and this totally did.

Fantastic app, I use it all the time, bought pro version as a thank you to the developers. I use it to scan documents and email to clients, or just email to myself for keeping papers on my computer. Easy interface, scanner tries to identify page you are scanning but often gets it wrong, but that’s not a big deal, just adjust the margins easily by dragging near the corners. Free version is super useful in itself and for most people all that you need.

Easy!!. Love having JotNot on my phone! I can scan and save as pdf and immediately email to whomever! Comes in handy when you have a job or kids with school stuff that needs sending in on the go! I use it religiously!!!

Jot Not is a great App!. This App saved my life! I am in sales and design and I have to scan drawings in after measuring spaces and meeting with clients . Need Refund not happy wt ur scanner.. I used ur scanner to scan my yellowed Coloured Time Sheet, today ( 19th Of Nov at at 10am) but instead it come out as blurred black and white and not showing clearly, hence my boss did not accept my time sheet, and this is one of the reason why I buy your scanner in the first place( I.e to Scan my time sheet). Would give more stars if possible. Just ace. I've used this for years now and it's just gotten better. Wifi linking, Touch ID security and the straight up usability. Good looking too (apart from the app icon; probably could do with a refresh). Great work.

Best scanner app. Might be a bit slower than more recent apps but it's great clarity and always reliable.

Invaluable scanning app. The paid version is great and very versatile. Has got me out of trouble when having to scan and send documents via email all from my mobile.

So useful. This app is one of the most used and useful on my iPad. So much quicker and better results than using my scanner to my laptop.

Handy +++. Have only been using this app for a short while but find it very good.

Create then Email Multi-page PDFs a breeze!. The lite version contains a couple of unexpected quits but gives a taste of the full version's features. If making multi-page PDFs quickly and simply and e-mailing them is what you need, go straight to the full feature. Also it was a bit of a puzzle as to why some pages were captured as horizontal and others vertical until I realized that this was determined by orientation of the phone when capture mode was entered.

Fantastic. getting better all the time i use it everyday to send receipts into the pay office fantastic app I am gonna buy the full version, dont know what all these other people are saying, photo and processing comes out perfect even with hand held and i think it works better in low light, only wish i could add and example, its fantastic ++++

Great idea. Only problem is they should let you know only 2 scans max with the free version, didn't stop me buying the upgrade.

Major bug. Previously a great app, but at this time I can’t recommend it. There is a bug that prevents you accessing your photo library that I think relates to how JotNot interacts with the new privacy options in iOS. Will update if they fix it.

Almost good, thanks to low quality result. Even with all the quality and resolution options set to max and processing set to minimum the image quality is still much lower than the original photo taken with the iphone, thus a well positioned original is actually more useful.

One of my most used apps. This little tool on my iPhone makes my work that much easier and convenient. The ability to quickly scan docs and email them off means not only do my customers and suppliers get their info quicker but the added bonus is I don’t forget to do it later. Does what it says. I was impressed. Shot my whiteboard with misc writing and figures and it cleaned it up beautifully - much better than just a photo which I have tried many times with marginal success. It saved to the regular photo area which means I can email or transfer it. Focus could be slightly crisper.

Brilliant for expense receipts. After having an entire month of expense receipts rejected because of poor scan quality I discovered this app. I love it. Brilliant for transforming quick photo of a receipt into a crisp clean cropped scan to submit to accounts. Like all great apps it does one thing very very well. The auto recognition of dimensions when you photograph a receipt on an angle is perfect for this purpose. Crisp clean receipt scans in seconds. I use this app daily now. Love it!

Better than a photo. Not sure what version I have but I like this app and am a bit puzzled by negative comments. I use it quite often to email or message recipes to my adult kids. Works fine for me.

A hidden Gold Pot. I love this app because it makes it so easy to scan items that would have once hard to scan into a digital form such as thick textbooks, reference books etc. It makes my life so much easier and I am a happy customer who uses this app nearly everyday. So Useful!!!. Great image quality, excellent ability to select desired area, but best of all is - pay a little bit for the pro version and send scans straight to your Evernote account. I use it for receipts, recipes, whiteboard capture, and for handwritten edits of printed docs.

Fantastic. Super easy to use - much easier than my old system of taking a photo and then correcting using photoshop. Plus it is ridiculously cheap to get the pro version.

Awesome app. I don't buy apps very often but a guy at work put me onto this and now all the guys in our office are using it too. Excellent when you're on the road when the last thing you want to do is fax/scan paperwork when you get home. I do it all on the go so when I get home I don't have to give work another thought.

Scanning an image has no tactile feedback. Old versions had tactile feedback on button. Please reinstate this feature

Best document scanning app around. I’ve tried a few apps for scanning and processing documents and this it the best by far in terms of ease of use and output quality. Highly recommend.

Jot not. Love this app! I use it all the time.

Glitchy lately. I have used this app for basic scanning of documents easily for several years. However, I have noticed the last few times I’ve used it to scan a batch of documents, as soon as I go to review the batch, it shuts down the app and I lose all my scans. Super frustrating! I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app so hoping that works.

Uni student approved. It’s a bit inconsistent at times, but just having something that can do a pretty good job of adjusting for camera angle, shading, and cropping everything else out is pretty good. I’m happy with it, worth the money

JotNot or Bust. This app is life changing honestly. To be able to “scan” from your phone and have it come out as a crystal clear PDF and not a picture is amazing. Must be a millennial who designed it.. genius.

Does its job well!. JotNot generally takes care of my quick copying needs for PDFs for work documents and receipts for work expenses. I gave it four stars because I would like if it had a bit more option for adjusting contrast and that type of thing, though I understand that cell phone cameras have their limitations for copying documents like this.

App Is No Longer Free - Deceiving. I’ve used this app for years for basic scanning. I just recommended it to 2 friends to do the same. After 2 scans they were told they had to upgrade. Deceiving description that you can use it indefinitely for free. Now they need to find another app and I guess if I upgrade my phone I need to do that too. What happened??

Amazing App!!. I have to travel for work and love how I no longer have to file receipts when I get home because I can do my expense reports on the go!!

Excellent Scanner. My goto scanner for documents - stabilization feature ensures good copies without a tripod and option to save in several ways (document, b&w, photo, etc) is very useful.

Jot Note Pro. I love this app! I am able to run my business, kids school work and hockey club by being able to scan fax and email anything I need and I always have a copy!
