Time Master can track both time and expenses. You can track time using start and stop times, duration, and/or timers. All time entries are tracked for a single day, so time entries cannot be greater than 24 hours. It will allow you to time across days, for example if you start a job at 8 p.m. and finish at 2 a.m., it will have a duration of 6 hours.

Expenses can be setup for recurring fixed cost items, such as burning a CD, reimbursement of hardware items, or fluid things such as toll expenses, automobile mileage, etc.

Quick reporting can be done on the iPhone / iPod Touch with the Reports function. The report can be emailed in an HTML and/or CSV format.

Adding new Clients, Projects, Tasks and Expenditures is super easy.  You can create them on the fly without having to navigate to a separate maintenance screen. To edit them you can tap on Setup, do you edit and then return to where you left off in Time Entries or Expenses. By selecting a Project or Task first will automatically fill in the Client field for quick entry.

Great Billing App for Attorneys. As an attorney I have some clients with several different matters. This separates them easily and keeps an ongoing total of billable hours for the month. It is simple to use and can break down time into 6 minute intervals (although it does not use the .1 denomination, which would be preferable. I would love even more if this were made an option). Great for keeping accurate billing on the fly so that nothing slips through the cracks. I have tried several other billing programs and this is by far the best for the legal profession.

Super app!!!. I am a consultant and this app is fantastic if you are looking for something to keep time for you - the timers do all the work. Plus I can make manual changes if I need to. Changing the number of hours in an entry is a snap. Editing an entry from a previous day is simple. It couldn't be much easier. Sessions are just what I needed. I am frequently interrupted and often start and stop work on projects several times during the day. Some days I put time in for 3 or 4 different clients. This app allows me to record each session individually and show the total time I spent on each task. The annotation feature is great as it is easy for me to forget exactly what I did in a session. I have to submit a report of what I worked on each week and the report function does everything for me. Super app!

#1 App on my iPhone!. This app is amazing...worth every penny and more! My expenses are tracked, as well as my customers to bill, and I can generate a report by day, week, month, or customer. I just enter the time I start by a sweep of my finger, choose save, and at the end of my session tap the phone to end the billing timer. Instantly, it calculates how many hours and shows me how much my customer owes for the session. Perfect for one-time consultations where they want to pay on the spot, as well as my monthly recurring customers that I invoice. I used to have to write everything down in my planner, but now just email myself a weekly report from the app. I can set each customer's billing level, task, etc. and it auto-calculates instantly. If it were possible to give this 10 stars, I would!

Uniquely positioned. Used this app for years, never let me down. You get into a groove when you’re billing multiple clients. I’ve literally downloaded and tried 15 other apps, none of them have this level of flexibility. Only thing that could use improvement is the receipt tool. I upload PDFs from a different scanning app whenever possible because manually cropping images in time master isn’t great.

If only On Core did a desktop or SaaS practice management, too.... ...because they've gotten it right. I actually find myself defaulting more and more to Time Master rather than dealing with my clunky practice management program. Time Master's simple to use, it has most of the functionality and customizability I need for my solo practice, is stable, and isn't loaded down with a bunch of feature bloat. The UI is easy on the eyes - not too spare, not too busy - and is fairly intuitive. I appreciate the ability to access the user manual on my phone or my laptop, and the Time Master Central feature is a huge plus - not having to email back up copies of my databases is wonderful. If I have any criticism, it's that the manual doesn't fully explain some of the features and how to use them. I still don't quite grok sessions, for instance. But that's a minor thing in comparison to all of the positives Time Master offers. In the future, I'd love to see the ability to customize the information on reports before they're generated; after I've emailed the reports to myself, I end up spending quite a bit of time editing them so I can enter them into my PMP's invoicing system. It would be great not to have that time drain any more!

top notch. This is truly a wonderful little app. I’ve tried nearly all the timesheet apps, and this one is far and away the best. The timesheet software we use in my architecture office is so miserable that I dread even opening it. Now I use Time Master throughout the day instead; before I go home in the evening, I quickly generate a report and copy that information into the office software in a couple of minutes. I also use this app to track time spent on side projects, both professional and personal. Despite the impressive capabilities of the app, it’s very easy to learn, and really flexible. All in all, an excellent tool with a well-considered design. I only have two (very small) complaints: first, it takes a second or two to launch. It’s really not a big deal, but since I switch tasks dozens of times a day, I notice it. It’s not better or worse than similar apps, though, and I don’t know if there’s really anything the developer could do about it. Second, the graphics on the opening screen make me cringe a little every time I use it – now that I think about it, that might be why I want it to launch faster. (Those are tiny complaints, but they're the worst I could come up with for this excellent app.)

Very Helpful App!. As a gig worker, I have multiple clients with different projects and phases, and different bill rates. Time Master has the ability to handle it all. Frequently, I need to add notes about the specific task I am on, and there is a place for that, too. At the end of the month, I export my hours as a PDF time sheet or as a CDF to import into an Excel worksheet and attach it to my invoice, or if the client has no required format for my invoice, I can generate the invoice directly from Time Master. It backs up to Dropbox and keeps an ongoing (revisable) record of everything I have done for as long as I need to maintain the record. It is a great program that I have used every work day for many years!

No longer supports Apple hardware. I think it’s safe to say, this is now become a windows based product with no plan to update to include OS X and Apple Watch. Many of us purchased modules and the app itself believing it would keep up with the times. Sadly, it doesn’t, and like other mom and pop developers we the consumers are left empty handed without an app to our name. Even TextExpander isn’t supported any longer, but that’s beside the point. Good luck but don’t buy it —- TIME has marched on!

Great Time Tracking Product. This product is excellent for anybody who tracks time by client. The product allows you to set up multiple clients, projects, and types of tasks, and then keep track of the time and expenses allocated to each. You can use built in timers to automatically track your time or enter the time manually. The timers are not turned off when you leave the program, they will still be running when you return. You will also need to install the Time Master Central (no additional cost) on your PC. This is used to back up your data files and to export data into spreadsheets or text files for billing or record keeping purposes (this cannot be done directly from the iPhone app). You can also email the data from your iPhone as HTML tables to yourself (or anybody else.) For some, this will be sufficient for billing. Your billing rates are organized hierarchically, with a global rate that can be overridden on a client basis that can be overridden on a task basis. Keep in mind that this is not a billing program, it is a time tracking program. You will need some other method of tracking which clients you have billed and when they have paid. If you think this is expensive ($9.99) , you will pay for the program the first time you charge a client for a ten minute block of time that you would otherwise have forgotten to write down. The customer support is excellent. I had responses to my queries answered within thirty minutes.

This an awesome app!. I have used this app for 8 years. It makes keeping track of time and billing so easy with the additional invoicing add-on. It is easy to use and well worth the investment. I am self-employed and it’s an essential tool for my business.

A great app. I've owned this app for years now and I still think it's as valuable now as it was the day I bought it. If you're looking for a super-easy, reliable way to track your hourly billing and then sending invoices (because getting paid is the point, less we forget), then this app is it. Get it: You won't be sorry.

Without a doubt, the best, most flexible time tracking app for the iphone. Rarely do I write reviews, but this app is so good and so useful, I felt compelled to do so. I'm amazed at how well it's been thought-through...the developers clearly know what they were doing when they made this. Which brings up the best part about this app: The customer service. Several times over the last several months of using this, I've had questions and even a couple of suggestions. The developers responded each time in less than a day, and in all cases either coached me on how to accomplish the esoteric nit-picky thing I wanted to accomplish, and in one instance, actually updated the program to accomplish what I needed. They even sent me an email announcing the change, so I'd know to be on the look out for the update. Top notch all around...you won't be disappointed with this app...the attention to detail is simply fantastic!

Excellent app with ultra responsive support. Best thing since sliced bread for anybody needing to keep track of time and expenses to be billed to specific clients while in the field. I have been using this app since its initial version on AppStore. I don't use the Billing aspects but I use the Time tracking features extensively. The ability to generate a CSV file that is attached in an email is invaluable when interfacing with software such as "AccountEdge" by Acclivity on the Mac. Any suggestions and feedback are responded to almost within 24 hours by the developer at On-Core and this is highly appreciated. The ability to set up everything so as to be able to quickly "punch in" and "punch out" at a client's for a fast-moving consultant is perfect as well as the user-selectable ability to force entry of case notes upon punch out (so as ensure they get entered while fresh in the mind and thus eliminate problems of lacking details when billing). The ability to keep all time slips permanently saved and visible but tagged as "billed" or "unbilled" is nifty but the ability to batch purge for a cleaner workspace is even niftier, as is the ability to only export those slips that are unbilled or by date in CSV format.

Functional billing app. This works great for a solo consulting operation with a mobile first emphasis in tracking billing. It is missing collaborative capabilities and centralized sync for consolidation. It isn’t easy to use across multiple devices (in a similar way that it isn’t useful to consolidate tracking and reporting). It is outdated on the UI and icon. But it is capable in varying billing rates by project or client, and client activity tracking. I used it extensively since 2010. It still my go to while on the go from a single device.

Solid App, Eminent Usability. This is the second app review I have ever posted, and I feel compelled to do so because this app is excellent! "We at On-Core are IT Professionals". It shows. As an IT professional myself, I can tell that a lot attention was paid to user requirements and the design is absolutely stellar. However, the proof is in the pudding, and what a pudding it is. There is nothing worse than wasting time fighting an app to do what you want it to do and there is none of that with TM. It is very flexible and adaptable to the way you track your time. As for people whining about the interface, I really have no clue what they are griping about. The UI is clean and functional, with a minimum of fluff, just the way it should be in a time-keeping app. The app has never crashed on my phone, not even once. The billing module is the cherry on top. There is something to be said for the ability to electronically invoice a client for time and expenses (from your "phone", no less!) moments after finishing the job. Even my IT customers raise an eyebrow and ask me how did I do that! Reports and Invoices are professional and look very well- clean, uncluttered, and to the point. If you need any sort of timekeeping, just buy this app. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic for all Entrepreneurs!!!!!. I have been using this program for about 3-4 years...and I love it!!! I am owner of a small personal assisting services business and it suits all of my needs. It is easy to use. And there is a FANTASTIC tech support if needed. Someone actually picks up the phone when you call and spends time answering questions and in layman's terms if needed. You can log hours and expenses for clients and for accounting purposes make your company a client and it will keep track of your expenses too! Soo much easier than a Quickbooks, yet also has a module to work with Quickbooks. I would suggest definitely buying the synchronization module and the invoicing module. I love this app! It is the foundation of the admin part of my business and the best part is it is all done on the run from any device and with the additional module...everything is in sync!

Pivotal!!. Please don’t stop supporting this app! People, I hope you all realize how amazing this software is. So much power in the palm of your hand. I love it. Learning curve maybe a little. But once you know it…. It’s just so crucial. Track time Quote Invoice Bill Manage payments Collections

Solid and Convenient. I've used this app for years on iPhone and iPad. It is so easy to quickly enter time entries, often in real time. Get the invoice add on, for sure. Definitely recommended...

Looking for more options. I've been using this app for a number of years. It does have a lot of options available. But I need more granularity in tracking my time. The "sessions" approach is great but if I could just assign a task at stopping a session I wouldn't have to add them in with a spreadsheet. The app does have tasks that can be used for describing a timer, but if I want to track 2 (or more) tasks for the same client (which allows me to track my actual time vs estimated per task), I have to start multiple timers for that one client. Then make sure I start the correct one. Seems like a lot of extra work when the ability to assign tasks is already built into the app. It just isn't implemented in a way that is super useful. I haven't found anything else that does this either to be fair

Best of breed. This app is very good. I have used it for a month (iphone) and am very happy with the time tracking and the level of granularity for Client/Project/Tasks. Very early on I contacted the developer and I heard back within a couple hours. There are a couple things I'd change, but they are more preferences than functionality issues. The invoicing is a really nice add-on. If you are an independent consultant you'd better be making more than $20/hour (If not quit and work for Starbucks...) So do yourself a favor and get the app and the invoicing add-on ($10) for less than one hour's labor. By the way, don't let the crappy icon fool you - the app itself is great and the dev knows that the logo needs a makeover - he said that is in the works. Hope this review helps.

Great app if you need to track time of projects. I generally charge by the project. So, I seldom need to track the time I spend on a client's project or account. However, there are times I need to. For example, when I have regular clients for whom I write sales copy. This app is invaluable to me for that purpose. It takes a bit of getting used to. I think there's a manual for it and I need to read it. But I'm already using it and it seems to be quite simple to use. Some areas are a bit awkward -- at least initally. I think there's a bit of a learning curve. But if you're a freelancer or you need to track time spent on projects or for clients, I highly recommend this app. I've not had to request support yet. So I can't comment on that at this point.

Long time user. I have used Time Master for a long time. It is a very good and well written app. I highly recommend it.

Positively the Best. I can not say enough good things about this app. Customizable for anyone any need. The module's are well worth every penny.

iPhone X. Good app. But needs to be updated for the iPhone X screen resolution.

Paid for itself 100 times over. Probably more.. I have the basic $10 app and the $10 billing add-on. I use them in my law practice, and it has completely transformed my billing for the better. I was constantly losing little bits of billable time because clients would call while I was traveling or otherwise out of the office. No more! Now this app lets me catch every interaction, and it's better for the clients because I can easily keep track of small increments as small increments, thereby eliminating the minimum quarter-hour that is the old-fashioned way of handling that problem. Plus just a few button-strokes at the end of the month and my invoices go out instantly to some of my clients via email (others I print out for mail). The app is extremely powerful in that it has a lot of options for customizing. The developers are constantly updating with new features, and I've even gotten direct, personal support via email and phone. $20 is a lot to pay for an app, but this is one that has paid for itself many times over. If you do work by project or by the hour, this is a great way to do your billing.

Best app of its kind, but please fix slight iPhone X glitch!. On an iPhone X, when selecting start/stop time in a session, the “Done” button sends you back without actually selecting the time you want. It usually takes me 2 or 3 attempts to make a time selection. Very frustrating. Other than that, this app rocks.

Excellent but may not be for everybody. I have relied upon this app for years, and it's worked consistently. Also, contrary to some comments, I really don't think this becoming "a windows app" or the world has "moved on". I'd say for sure that the app doesn't attempt to be the whiz-bang UI experience that the ideal iOS app needs to be to "feel right" to every Apple user. I'm a huge Apple user, have nothing but macs, iPhones, Apple Watch etc.... and yet, every time I've tried to find an app that "supports the whole Apple experience" the app itself, in practical terms, falls short. I'd say if you are causually looking for something to track time, and do so in the "Apple Way" this may not be the best app for you. However, if you are a professional with many clients, different types of jobs, different billing rates and need to reliably and consistently track time, send invoices, assure your data is backed up and available... I have NEVER seen anything that can compare with this. Bottom line: Practical, reliable app from a developer that seems to keep updating and assuring it works. The only downside: A bit of an Apple "meh" experience if you're looking for warm "Appleness". I can live with that.

Long time user, still loving Time Master. I have used Time Master since 2017 and it still meets all my needs for my small business. I have several clients and it is so easy to print the time sheet (or print an invoice). Nothing else compares!!!

Essential timekeeping/billing app for small-medium bus. As an partner of a small law firm, this is the most important app I own. I have been using this program for nearly 3 years and it has always worked flawlessly. I can bill on my iPad or my iPhone and then sync them together wirelessly and I back everything up on my Mac. I need to work with my timekeeping before invoicing, so I export to Excel and then invoice from my computer, but I'm sure their invoicing module works great as does their iPad sync module. I have even contacted customer support and been able to speak to a real person that immediately helped me solve my problem, which was caused by me not following directions as per usual. I highly recommend this app for any small business owner that needs to keep track of his/her time.

Outstanding Customer Service. We use Time Master to keep track of billable hours in our law firm. We have found the user interface to be very intuitive and easy to use, and has allowed our attorneys to capture billable time far more effectively than ever before. What has surprised us most however, is the level of customer service that On-Core has provided to the firm. The accessibility of the On-Core support staff as well as their willingness to work with the firm has been outstanding. In fact, the level of customer service we have enjoyed has been just about the best customer service I have ever experienced. I anticipate that we will be loyal customers of On-Core and users of Time Master for a very long time, not only due to the value and ease of use of their product, but because of the obvious dedication they have to the product and their customers. Great job On-Core!!

Best Time Tracker I've Ever Used. I've used time trackers on my computer but they are still no match for Time Master. When I got my iPod Touch, one of the first apps that I though of buying was a time tracker since I like to keep track of my tasks are at work. After Googling, I found several reviews for Time Master. Initially, I though the price was quite expensive for a time tracker but the feature set was just what I wanted. Now, I'm so happy to have spent the money on the application. A week after my purchase, a new update containing a feature that I also wanted became available (the Sessions feature). It just shows that the developers of this application are listening. The developers are also quick to respond to any email inquiry and give you assurance that any issues will be addressed immediately. Truly great work, On-Core!

Great App. I have been using TimeMaster + Billing for about 3 years. I am an hourly paid consultant and this app is very easy to use. I am not the kind of person who likes to write detailed reports, in fact I hate having to write any kind of report. Yet I have had numerous comments from clients that my billing is the most detailed that they have seen. This app makes it just that easy. The app is very stable which is a requirement when it comes to keeping track of money. I used to have issues when syncing with Time Master Central, but have not had an issue ever since backups were switched to Dropbox. I use the Invoice module, which is extra, but totally worth it. The fields exported for reports are customizable which makes it so that you should be able to configure it for your needs. This app has paid for itself many times over.

Perfect for attorneys. I am a lawyer at a big firm and needed something to easily record my time when I did work over the weekend or otherwise outside the office and then email the report to my assistant to input into our firms time recording system. I looked at every other time recording app and none were quite right for atty's. This one is perfect. You can have a main client, mulitple matters per client, expense recording, billing in 6 min increments, etc. Many of the other apps also force you to enter start and end time which is annoying since I am frequently entering my time after the fact. If you are an atty looking for something for this purpose, this works great.

Version Update Dark Mode. In the new version that just pushed out, Dark Mode looks GREAT, but there is a BIG PROBLEM. In the narrative field, the dark mode background loads as white, and so does the text, which makes typing … tricky. Can we get a fix on that!?

Look people, this is a winner. Ok, i have tried lots of stuff here, Some of you had issues. But I must say, this in one of the better time apps. I do wish you can add contacts on the fly..but maybe next version...I sent in a request, for a wish-list and damm the next day I have a response. I was asking for more than one invoice template. i have 3 outfits. The invoice template is so cool, spend some time on photoshop, make a great invoice, and then time master will use as invoice header...anyway i do property mgt, time master must have googled me, and gave me a suggestion..now thats customer service, unlike the tons of other idiots, that provide apps, and dont support them. The perfect time app maybe on it's way. Time Master may be the first their... and no I do not work for these guys..bye the way. For the couple of neg reviews, I have read. Those idiots should shut down their companys. One idiot should read the instructions before using.

Needs updating for ios11. Good app but needs updating to work with split view and slide over. Please update

Great app for time and billing. Time Master is an excellent app for time and billing. The user interface is very intuitive and allows you to quickly create time entries by client and project. I can easily back up my timesheet data using the free Time Master Central app running on my PC running Windows 7, and then export this data as necessary to Excel (as a .CSV file). When I was considering Time Master I sent some detailed questions to their support email alias and had an answer back in less than one hour. Andy at On-Core Software was incredibly helpful by providing me with tips on how I could import my existing time and billing data into Time Master, even though this is not a supported feature. I was able to successfully import over 3,000 time entries from my previous application. I've used multiple time and billing apps on various Palm devices over the years, and this by far the most polished and well designed. If you have needs for a serious professional time and billing system on your iPhone, I would seriously consider Time Master. It is not the cheapest app in this category, but if you use it every day as I do, it is more than worth the price.

LAWYERS WILL LOVE THIS APP!. If you're an attorney you NEED this app. It took me about three weeks to fully learn its controls and available options, but it paid for itself in the first phone call to a client! The best discovery I have made is the ability to generate reports with a grand total of hours and the amount to bill PER CLIENT! I use this primarily for calculating fee declarations for criminal appointed work. Once finished with a case I simply generate a report for that client and email it to myself. I then open the report in Word and edit it to suit my needs, then print out the number of copies I need and attach them to my fee declaration. Another great benefit is being able to set up common tasks such as "arraignment" or "phone call" and set up the rate I bill for those tasks. The next time I add a time entry for a client, I simply select the task and the app knows what pay scale to attach to the amount of time I enter. Quickly learned how much money this app has made for me today when I discovered that an 11 minute phone call to a client is worth $7.34. I haven't added the available modules such as invoices or export to quickbooks yet, but this app is a no-brainer for me! It's made me a ton of money that I might have otherwise failed to remember to bill for. Enjoy!

Great app for contractor/ project manager. Fantastic app. Super customer service/ support. Hands down this is the best app I've ever purchased. No monthly or annual fees. Can't express enough how much I appreciate this app.

Great ease of use, perfect for "in the field" consultants. I've found this app to be the best solution to time keeping and billing in the field, at least for an iPhone app. The flexibility in configuring rates, discounts, annotating/documenting, makes it perfect for my daily use. I purchased the Invoice module as well, as I'm able to track all the billable time & expenses while at a client, then immediately generate an invoice, print it from my iPhone or email it directly to the client, without having to wait until I get back to my office. That results in quicker invoicing, faster payment from clients, and a happier consultant (me.) I've referred a number of my friends (landscape architects and caterers) to the app, and they all seem to love it. It does everything as billed, and a bit more. Well worth my $9.99.

Consultant. A major disappointment. I was looking for a replacement for my venerable (and free) TimeWhiz on my Palm. But the Time Master interface is just too cumbersome and painful - at least for the way I want to use it. I typically record my daily time at the end of each day, or sometimes the following morning if I forget. Time Master does not make this easy. In the daily view, it does not display a running total as I enter time and it requires too many steps to do simple tasks. There is no way to edit an entry so if I want to change two hours to three hours, I have to make another entry. If I am entering time from the previous day, I have to change the date before every entry and change start/end time every time. Also, it is very time consuming to enter all new clients and projects on initial setup. There should be an import utility for this. Maybe it works for some people, but it won't work for me.

Love it. I do maintenance and remodeling for multiple clients and use this app everyday to keep track of time and materials, upgraded to do the invoicing and they look professional, I recommend this app to a lot of people in my profession, it works perfect for me.

Excellent time tracking app. This app has all I need and keeps it simple, neat, and tidy. It has just enough options and customization to provide me with a great time tracker but isn’t over bloated with way too many options. I am a little concerned with the lack of updates. Maybe it doesn’t need any but I would not like it if this app was unavailable with a new iOS update or something.

Excellent Time Expense and Invoicing App. I have been using Time Master for over a year now and I highly recommend it to anyone who does business based on billable hours. It keeps my time and expenses organized with detailed notes so I can focus on my consulting business. Tracking mileage couldn't be easier, one expense type for each of my vehicles. With the in-app purchase of the synch module, I can input time and expenses on either my iPhone or iPad and they synch up. The in-app purchased Invoicing upgrade allows me to email very professional and quite flexible invoices from my iPhone. I email the client an invoice immediately upon completing an assignment usually while still at the client's site. There is also a Quickbooks module you can purchase in-app, but I haven't used it yet. Version 4 makes things easier and makes entering expenses easier with a numeric keypad in the numbers fields. Time Master Central allows you to back up and restore your data to your computer or use the online Backup and Restore function. I do recommend looking over the manual after using the program for a while there are some great ideas in there.

Review from a consultant perspective.. I bought the iPad to replace my day planner. Between this application and "things" I have successfully done just that. The user interface is powerful but not confusing. Maybe it's just my line of work, but every option i need seems to be present for logging time. If all you need is very simple time tracking use numbers, but if you need more advanced options such as the ability to track multiple projects per client, keep detailed notes about each time slot and all related expenses then this will work out great for you. Just a side note, but I was elated to find that this program tracks mileage expenditures. This is key for me for tax purposes.

With this app I've increased billable time by 24.6%... Really!. I am a professional consultant an have used many different apps to track and submit my time over the years. This one does a wonderful job of helping me address the place where I was loosing time which is when I happen to be working out of my office and switching back and forth between many billable tasks. It can be very difficult to keep track of the time spent on each. This app makes it so easy to do so being able to have multiple entries for clients, projects and even different departments all showing at one time on the screen, then just tap on one timer to stop it and then tap on the other to start that one. That is what has increased my billing by 24.6%, I have the QuickBooks reports to prove it.

Great App. This is a great app that I use all the time to monitor my work hours. The ability to differentiate my work into client then project then task allows me to provide a detailed report for my Board. As a self-directed worker from home, it also helps me to know when I'm overworking - which helps me be accountable to my family! :-) Great stuff!

Having a good experience.... This app is similar to the prototypes I have created for my own use on desktop PCs. As a database developer I'm thinking I like this app because it's a fairly raw interface to DB tables. Not quite a mature iPad UI though, looking forward to something that uses the screen real-estate more productively (like a split view controller). It feels an iPhone UI stretched to the iPad dimensions, especially when you're a few levels deep into a set of records and you have to hit buttons at opposite sides of the screen to save and navigate back to the list view. Overall a mature app, great at data capture and reporting, you can do some pretty neat stuff in terms of categorisation of entries and multiple sub-segments of time+notes per task entry.

Trying to get the invoice upgrade. So far it doesn't impress me i"ve tried countless times to get the upgrade for the invoicing side which i think should have come with it. can you fix this because the app won't upgrade from the ipad either

Revised down. Only had an hour with the iphone version so far but I like it. It does have more features than I would use in my small manufacturing business but it does the job well. Support is good with a few videos to get you started and a forum for finding things out - all good signs. I would like to see the ability to add photos, I work with visual media, but a worthwhile app and better than any I have seen so far. Now after using it for a few weeks I am finding the app more complicated to use than should be necessary. When comparing with the app I was using before - Inertrak I find it takes to many steps to do what I want to do. So I am returning to Inertrak and would not recommend this app now.

V 2 App does not work- avoid!. Do not buy this app, it does not work. Found first bug within 2 minutes of setup that causes app to bomb. I was able to enter some time entries, did something (generated a report perhaps) and since then will not allow saving of new entries! I thought that paying the highest of ANY timesheet app would provide quality - it didn't. Don't waste your money! (Update from v2.2 to 2.93) Fixed. The developers return your emails and have since fixed the app. It now is completely stable and works as it should. Even the PC based backup works! I am only giving it 4 stars as my way of protesting the high cost of the invoicing module.

Nearly Perfect. A great app that is supported by superb support. I have had a few problems in setting things up but the support team led by Adam have always been there. Changes needed, they are so responsive to things. The app is so rich it is hard to believe that it is just an iPad app- one would think it is so feature rich that you are working at your Mac. Could improve for price. Not a bad app. A few improvements could enhance it. Can not down load a .csv. Unable to report on multable clients at once. (EDIT: I was wrong about being able to down load .csv file this is a feature.) I such an expensive app I would like to see more functionality. IE total times in the report as a % of a set time. If it was cheaper I would have rated it higher (EDIT: I also modify this statement. The more I use this app the more it grows on me. There is a quite extensive functional description available. and now having tryed several other apps this one is much more configurable and has very good functions.) Great App for Small Business!. I nevre wrote an review before, but this app made my life so much easier that I couldn't help but to write a review!!! It's a great app if you have a small business, I love how you can setup anything you want on the database! It's great! I guess this would make it harder for some poeple who are not used to work with this sort of things, I'm a developer my self and everything on the app just makes perfect sense for me! I love it! There is only one thing that I hate about this app! That pixelated image that shows up when you enter the app, come-on guys, get a designer to make a better icon and splash screen, that looks like it was done on photoshop 1 in 1985! =) This app was worth the money for sure!

Great app!!. Tried many if these apps for my design business, this has been the best so far. Able to make it do everything I want so far without problems. Low picture quality.. This is a useful app however receipt photo quality is terrible. The contrast makes the picture of the receipts unreadable. Why not just leave the pictures unaltered? Possible app update?

Best on-the-go business app. I’ve been using this application since 2012. I love it. It’s stable and does the job. Invoicing is easy and professional. I appreciate the developer updating the app to be compatible with the latest iOS updates, I only wish they updated the style and some functionality of the app to be make it more productive - ie being able to add the same job for the entire week, rather than having to duplicate and then change the info. I’ve upfront paid for all the modules and I use them all…I wouldn’t mind paying for an update of new features *hint* *hint* to developer ☺️

Incomplete. How can an app used for billing not have the capability of inputting deposits, progress payments etc. You cannot even input a negative expense to overcome the lack of deposits say. For this amount of money compared to others, it's definitely lacking.

Great App worth the cost. At first it appears to be a bit confusing to use but the manual really helped out. Very well documented. Currently use this application daily. I also have the sync and invoice module they work perfectly. Take the time to learn this app and you be will rewarded.

WOW. I'm an IT Management Consultant and a Project Manager so I have some complex time tracking & billing needs. The only common scenario I can think of off hand this app doesn't cover (yet) is an easy way to do splits e.g. an hour long meeting where I want to split the time either evenly or, for instance, 25% to one client / project, 25% to another and 50% to yet another. My background is in Application Design and Development and I'm here to tell you this company knows how to design and build and application!! I watched the videos on the website and didn't even hesitate to spend the $$. I will report back once I've used it a while. If the app performs the way I suspect then this was the best $10 I've spent in a long time.

Jeebers. The app name is deceiving, I don't like it how the billing (invoice) piece doesn't come with it. Be aware this app is only a time tracker (There is tons of free time tracker apps out there), if u want the billing and invoice piece, it will cost u additional $9.99 or so READ THE DESCRIPTION FIRST BEFORE BUYING IT.

Owner. I own a contracting business. I need to track time, projects, tasks, clients; work done, when & by whom; expenses and receipt copies; and collate all that into an invoice. I was using a hodgepodge of different platforms with less than satisfactory results. I am incredibly happy with this app and the invoicing add-on. And it lets us track business use of vehicles for my partner, the tax man.

Leap year. Please fix February 29th while generating reports. It misses the time entry for that day.

Fantastic app. Fantastic for me. I use it to track my daily consulting time and import it into QuickBooks which makes my invoicing a breeze.

App is good, but pricey. As a small business owner and contractor, the app does everything I need it to. Invoicing was key, as was running reports for taxes. However, it is a bit pricey. Paying extra for invoice functionality was a little too costly. It should be included. I did try other software, but the cheaper software didn't have all the features. I would have given this software 5 stars if it was more affordable.

Recommend this app. I've been using this app for my home based business for several months and really appreciate the results I get from it. If you need to track time for multiple projects and tasks for different clients, this app is a must.

Worth the price of my iPod all by itself. As an entrepreneur, using this app just since March has saved me more than the cost of my whole iPod by enabling me to invoice clients immediately after sessions with just a few keystrokes, rather than waiting until the end of the month and risk forgetting something. I've incorporated discounts, deposits and even been able to send receipts to workshop participants (who don't exactly pay by the hour). I love that it lets me pick up info from my Contacts, saving me double entry. And here in Ontario, Canada we just had a major change in the tax structure (new label, new rate). I changed the old label and updated it with the new rate, and all my existing clients' tax info updated automatically. Yippee! This was the first app I used and I learned so much about the iPod in general as well as this app from its videos. I also find the documentation complete and clear. A real winner app! I do also enjoy using Eternity Time Logger, which lets me see (with the press of a button and colour-coded) daily, weekly and monthly what percentage of my time I'm spending on billable vs other activities. A bit of double-entry but well worth it.

11 months and use every day.. It works well for my job. Easy 5 stars. The writers have been very active adding features and adjusting this app. I have used it for almost a year and it has fit itself well into my workflow. I only use about half of the features. You need to spend a little time learning the features and deciding how you want to use the app as it is versitile enough to cover many scenarios. The reporting is great as you can choose which fields you want. The emailed reports copy and paste neatly into Excel. You can export the backup to csv too.

This app is just one feature short of perfect. I'm in construction and I've been using this to keep track of both hours and expenses for about seven months now. It does everything I want, short of cashing my checks for me. :D I use it on the iPhone to log my hours and then sync it to my iPad to do the paperwork. The one feature that this app could really use is a desktop version, if just because for things like invoice management can be a bit clunky on the iDevices.

Fantastic! Well worth the $$$!. My company has used several different Time Tracking solutions in the past. All were too cumbersome, too sparse or too expensive to maintain. It is hard to believe that we may have found our solution in an iPhone App. This app does everything it advertises. It works, it’s easy and it is efficient.

Update: Beware the sync. The technical support has contacted me and has diligently been working with me and making suggestion on getting the sync working. Apparently the sync problem is actually the iPad wifi problem and Bluetooth syncing works fine. Again kudos to the developer on the dialog they were willing to have to solve the problem. I definitely recommend their product and their customer service. 5 stars!

Awesome App. I highly recommend this app to anyone who captures their time and expenditures. I am an engineering contractor and have to track my time and expenses each day I work. This app does it all. The added cost for the invoicing module is completely worth every penny. The ability to store photos or PDFs of receipts and then include them as part of the invoice makes it all paperless. I also love the ability to mark entries that I need for tax purposes as non-reimbursable so they don't show up on the customer invoices. I don't think I'd change a thing about this app.

Excellent program. Easy to set up and get going right away. I've used the program over a month. And I still give 5 stars. I work with many different clients throughout the day and switching between them on time master is so fast and easy. Even if a call comes in it takes one click (in sessions) and your clocking your time. Not having to guess at how much time I spend on each client has saved me huge dollars. A side benefit is that I don't stress out about whether I've billed the correct amount. Most importantly Time saver has saved me from underbilling.

Weak Reporting & complex entry. From a consultant perspective, the reporting capabilities are much too limited especially if you want to report time on task over any period (day, week, month, etc.). Basically the report spits out all entries to excel without aggregating time on a task, so if during a day you worked on A, then on B, and back on A you get a report that shows time for A, then B, them the second A instead of total times on each. You have to do this yourself in Excel. Although the DB supports a true tree structure for client, projects, and tasks, the DB setup and time entry screens and UI are very clumsy. It needs entry selection visualized as a tree to the left of the screen.

Time Master +Billing is Great. I have used several consultant management apps and this one rules. I have several clients where the rates are different. The terms are different and the invoicing options are different. Tm deals with all of them and with the sync and invoice modules, I am able to sync to b/w my iPhone and my iPad as well as create beautiful invoices for my customers. Support is excellent with my emails being answered quickly. Great job on this app.

Very Misleading Title. I bought this app under the impression that the invoicing function was included with the price. (Hence the name Time Master+Billing.) It is not. It costs an extra $9.99 to be able to invoice clients. It also costs extra to use Quickbooks with it, or to sync it between devices. This is very misleading. I brought this to the attention of Adam, one of the developers. He was rude. He stated, "It's very sad that most people think Apps that we've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on are not worth a few bux, where they are willing to go to Starbucks and spend $6 on a cup of coffee every day. Go figure?!" That was never my issue. my issue is with how they advertise their app.I have gotten a refund. If you think all the bells and whistles are included with this app, think again. Read the fine print very carefully. I do not recommend this app at all.

Not perfect but definitely the best out there. I'm an attorney and I use the app to track time and then email it to my assistant. I use it all day every day. This is definitely the most comprehensive and flexible app for iOS. I particularly like the sync module. It's not perfect (it needs a way to visually see what parts of a day do not have time entered), but it is way better than any comparable app out there. Don't be scared by the price--good business apps should not cost 99 cents.

Unparalleled. I wanted to express my love of and gratitude for this app. I have been using this for several years and have never found anything else that can even compare. Great Customer Support!. I've been using this application for a couple of years now. It's always done everything I asked of it, and it's made tracking time, expenses and creating invoices easy. I'm still finding more things it can do to make my life easier. I had a problem exporting invoices yesterday (after the previous update) and contacted their customer support. They replied really fast, identified the problem and the update was available in the app store in less than 24 hours. Talk about going "Above and Beyond"!

Best Time and Billing App on the App Store!. Time Master is by far the best Time, Milage, and Invoicing app in the app store. I am an independent contractor and I use this app to bill various clients while working on projects. I can bill right from the app, back it up to dropbox, (or via mac or pc via a free downloaded app). It's paid for it self many times over and the support is great usually within 24 hours. If you're on the fence looking for a great Time, and Billing app look no further this is a great app! Time Master gets regular updates and gets better with each one.

Consultants MUST HAVE. I’ve been using Time Master since it’s first release on iPhone. Like many independent consultants I started with complicated and unwieldy spreadsheets when a fellow consultant recommended this app to me. I’ve never looked back. It’s not hard to setup but it does everything I need for a one-man shop. The invoicing module is also a MUST HAVE. Backup to Dropbox is an alternative to syncing multiple devices with added benefit of actual backups.

Making $$$ with this app. After working so hard for a year or so to get my consulting practice up and running, one of the big problems was the ability to efficiently keep track of my time and be timely in my billings. This app is absolutely fantastic. It takes a little time to customize because it is so robust, but well worth the effort. Well done.

Best of the ones I've tried. I'm a freelance designer with a handful of regular clients, and after reading and re-reading all the timesheet apps, I've found this one to be the best for my needs. I really didn't want to spend the ten bucks at first, but after trying Worklog LT (free) and Easy Time Sheet ($4) and deciding they just didn't cut it for me, I bit the bullet and am very happy with this purchase. I emailed customer support in the evening and received a reply in about 90 minutes, and they seemed genuinely concerned with fixing what I thought was a problem (which was actually a clever feature, and I'd have realized that had I RTFM).

Exactly what I needed. Pricey, but well worth it. I'm a recently licensed lawyer and I wasn't used to keeping track of my time. This app has already paid for itself because of those little .1 and .2 tasks that I was always forgetting to include. Feature request: ability to import recent calls, texts, emails, and calendar items. Would be nice to be able to quickly scroll through those, tap on the ones I want to bill, and assign them each a billable time period. Keep up the great work!

Just what I needed. I am a contractor and was looking for an app to more easily track change orders. Normally I would just use a stopwatch and then have to calculate the rate. Then write everything down on paper. No more. I also use Quickbooks and am very organized so this app. fits my needs perfectly. When I bought it, I didn't even realize it tracks mileage which is so Important to me for tax returns. No more writing it down and calculating mileage. I will just email a report to myself once I've completed the customers job. I bought an iPad just for my business and finding this app is great. I have not used it for an extensive amount of time so I cannot comment on that. I was able to figure most of it out myself within about 10 minutes and then I referred to the manual for a few other details. But I am also a computer person so figuring it out wasn't that hard. I look forward to making good use of this for my business. This app is key for tax purposes and even legal documentation should I ever need it.

Great app. This app payed for itself the first week. I am the owner of a Design/ Build and Consulting company in the construction industry. My clients are very happy to receive detailed invoices. I save at least 2 hours per week, per client. I purchased it about 6 weeks ago and have received 2 updates already. No problems, just adding more features and streamlining the process. Kudos to Adam and On-Core. I just got off the phone with Adam at On-Core and I have to say that I am VERY impressed. I had some questions about the program before I purchasing, and he was very helpful. He also gave me the impression that he was genuinely interested in my concerns and in meeting my needs. One of the things that he told me is that they are currently working on a Quickbooks interface, which would be wonderful, since we use QB at my law office for billing. We will definitely be giving this program a try!

Great!. I just used this app on a trial I was working on and it was great. I was able to track all of my time and expenses very quickly and the app was much more intuitive than I expected. The reporting is very strong and the ability to email in both HTML and csv made entering my slips in my main time keeping program a snap. This app is well worth the money!

I've been dreaming of this app. This app is the ultimate time tracker and invoicing program for consultants or anyone who tracks and bills for time. I used to use 3 apps and Excel to do all the things this app covers. Works great. Support is off the charts responsive. It has a ton of features that I wouldn't have expected. If you bill for time, get it. I have the invoicing and sync add ons. More than worth it.

Everything I needed! A pleasant surprise.... Love this app. It delivers what it says it will unlike a lot of other apps I have that come close but don't quite deliver. I have multiple clients with various requirements for time, billing, and costs. This is great and was easy to figure out. I haven't run in to any real barriers to using it effectively. Manual is well written so when I do get lost and can figure things out. I've found this rare in the wild west of app support. I also recommend the invoice module. Don't know if it would be as great for me without it. Haven't tried the other modules but would consider the synch.

One of my top 5 apps. For $20, I bought Time Master and the Invoicing module. It was well worth it. Now I enter time, invoices, and payments on the road, and I don't have to do it again at home. My clients love the detailed invoices that I give them thanks to the Sessions notations the program asks me to make. I like not having to guesstimate my time and expenses anymore. I can also see all my open invoices at any time--great for when a past due client calls me and I am away from my desk. Word to the wise: This app has lots of features so can be a little overwhelming at first. Download and take the time to read the manual. You'll need to learn how to use Sessions, for example, but it is worth it.

Makes time tracking and invoicing easy. I'm a typical consultant with hourly billing. I'm focused on my work, not on record-keeping and so I used to lose a lot of billable hours just due to my own failure to keep track. I've tried a lot of systems ranging from paper notes to complicated software and this is the most intuitive and easy to use, which translates into me habitually entering time into it, which translates into more profitable business. I'm also trying the additional invoicing model. I wish it would export into word files as well as pdf, to make it easier to edit invoices on my laptop rather than just on the iphone. Thanks!

Does what I needed it to. I wanted a time tracking app that has a timer/stop watch, allows me to edit the time entries, and can handle multiple projects for multiple clients. Time Master does. I found it intuitive and easy to use. Also really handy, you can edit the project or client after you've hit the timer, which is great for when what you're doing suddenly changes. I haven't had it create a report yet, so I can't speak to that.

Love it but please add..... Love this app! I'm a service provider who also sells software and it works perfect for tracking time and info about customers. The invoicing module is a must so just buy it now. The only request i have for developers is do an inventory module that integrates like your invoices! I could take a pic of my part give it a part number and how many i have then when i'm invoicing i can grab that part from inventory and my stock is always updated!

Professional and Thorough. I've been using this app for two years now. I've never bought the QB in app module but I do have the invoicing module. This app does about everything you could want for a mobile time tracking app. If you need more than this app offers, bring your laptop. I have watched the feature list grow since I first started using this app. You can account for just about every scenario in this app. The versions that have come out in the last year or so have been rock solid! I've used this app on an iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4 from iOS versions 3.x - 5.0.1 without any problems whatsoever. This is my go to app for all my contract billing. Thanks for a great app!

Very Powerful Software. I bought this for recording hours, billing and invoicing. And yes, it allows me to do all that from my iPad. Nothing I have found in the App Store comes close. It's reliable and thorough. The reason I didn't give it five stars is that it falls short in two areas: 1) It's not easy to use. Plan on taking an hour or so to set it up properly. It has an ugly and cumbersome interface that feels like an old DOS app ported over to iOS. Until very familiar with the interface you'll be banging your head. If you want to quickly bill someone for 4 hours work today forget it, you're required to enter a start time to the minute by scrolling though the clock picker. If you try to do it through an expense entry, it's even worse. 2) Invoice add-on creates ugly invoices. They look very like they're from the era of dot matrix printers. I'm somewhat embarrassed to send these outdated looking documents out to clients. For what I paid for the app and invoice module I seriously expected something with a much more maclike user experience and aesthetic.

Five Star product with one star support. This was a very useful app until the last software update which disabled Text Expander integration. A month later, the bug still has not been fixed, rendering a significant feature of this product useless. If the problem ever gets resolved, my rating would be 5 stars. As it stands, however, the utility of this product is impaired and not worth buying until a fix is implemented.

Excellent app!. Our corporate time entry system us cumbersome and only accessible via VPN or direct LAN connection. I am in the field a majority of the time and use this app every day. I don't have to worry about timing my various activities since Time Master handles it for me -- I just have to remember to start/stop the timers when I switch activities. At the end of the billing period, I just email the report to myself and enter my recorded time. Now, if only I could get the corporate system to accept CSV import of my time entries... :o)

Perfect in every way!. This is by far my favorite app! I have tried every invoice/billing app, and this app screams with features. It does more than most desktop apps, and is very easy to use. I am not easily impressed by iPhone apps, but this one has me talking. Worth every penny, and I highly suggest the invoice upgrade! Developers are very responsive, and really care about their customer!

Possibly the Best Time Tracking Software Out There. As an independent contractor, it is necessary for me to be able to track my time on each job and invoice the client accordingly. The timer function is flawless and the entry detail doesn't leave you wanting for more. Since I use QuickBooks Premier Accountant for all of my billing/bookkeeping, I did install the additional QuickBooks module offered by Time Master. It works great! No issues with time import or invoice generation. Drawbacks: 1. The app does not sync between devices (i.e. Cloud)--you have to push the data from one device to another. 2. The program is not as self explanatory re: setup as I would have preferred. Initially, I found it difficult to intuitively maneuver through the program. HOWEVER, the customer service is AWESOME! I had some initial questions to get me started and called the tech support number on 3 occasions--imagine my surprise when a human answered! No hold time! He was extremely helpful (and patient). On 1 of the occasions I had to leave a message but had a call back within 5 minutes.

Flat great buy it. This app is great once you learn your way around it. I use it every day not for invoicing but to keep track of all my time and pay from work. It lets you do as many intries as u need on the same date up to mid night of course. Calculates overtime as well and its right on and it does perdium /mileage are w/e u would need to get reimburste with. The only down fall i see is i wish you could change it from regular time to MARINE TIME but other than that great app

Almost perfect. I decided to go 100% paperless this year, which meant letting go of my paper daily journal to record notes and my time that gets billed to clients. So far, so good! I have this on my iPad and it is really easy to use. It is intuitive and is obviously developed by people who understand the needs of hourly billing professionals. Some forewarnings: 1. Read the manual, especially if you have the QB module. Setting it up first before exporting time entries is important - I learned the hard way. 2. Not exporting expenses to QB is a big time bummer. I hope that gets added soon. I plan to have my employees buy this app to track their own time and expenses so they can just email them in weekly and I won't have to transpose time cards or Excel sheets

Content is there, just needs better packaging. This program is absolutely perfect for my tracking needs. I love the power of setting tasks within projects linked to clients. The report is therefore information rih and accurate. The ease of use is also pleasing. My one complaint is that graphically, Time Master is, well, ugly. It needs a more aesthetically pleasing logo and icon, as well as a more Mac-like UI. I'd gladly give five stars if Time Master gets a face lift.

Great Tool - Simple Design. On-Core is On-Target with this one... I would have paid double the price because it saves me hours of admin work at the end of each week. Seriously, get this App if you bill your time to your Clients or if you need to account for your time and expenses. I own several other iPhone apps that claim to do the same sort of work for me and this App blows them all away. On-Core... great job!

Great Time Keeping App. I've tried a bunch of these applications, this one comes out on top. This has some really great features, a lot of thought has gone into making this really useful... and the support folks are real responsive.. Believe it or not I sent these guys some support questions early morning on Easter Sunday and got a response back within the hour. Highly recommended

Amazing app with a live person to speak to. Just amazing is all that can be said. And the propmt support that I got over the phone was truly outstanding. Adam the support center did not even ask me of I bought the app at the time of the call but just listened carefully and walked me through every one of my questions and noted my request so it may be addressed in a future update. Such as the ability to duplicate an old entry from last week and insert on it's own today's date with my ability then to add or modify the refrence. Adam good job for you and the special guys at on -core. Enjoy, a happy user

It's Great. This is my new on-the-road billing software. I'm able to use it while out which works great, but then sync it with Quickbooks when I get back in. My only concern is I wish it gave the ability to create and apply credits. Using discounts is not as helpful or detailed as a specific module for credits. I've had times when certain line expense items I charged for needed to be credited back but a smaller qty. than purchased.

Great for keeping track of time per job. I use this app daily for keeping track of how much time I spend on various tasks throughout the day which I need to do for time entry/billing purposes. Easy to use, reports are great and does exactly what I am after. I switch frequently between tasks so needed something that would be easy to use and total up time. Very intuitive and easy to user. Highly recommend.

Not what it seems. Bought the apps and the upgrades to reduce all redundancies in my tracking hours and my billing but was extremely disappointed and frustrated with how inefficient it is. There are too many fields that are not necessary, entries are not filed chronologically, the sync module works only if the devices are on the same wifi network, close to each other, and can only be installed using the same iTunes account, and finally the QB module is so inefficient I wasted a whole week end having to re enter all my hours. To their credit they responded to all my inquiries and tried their best to answer my questions. You're better off looking at other options (like I did) or using the note feature of the iPad to keep track of your hours.

Comprehensive, easy to use, and stable!. I can hardly believe it is Version 1.0! I messed with it for one day and started relying on it the next. An e-mail to the company got me the pre-sale info I needed quickly: timers you leave running continue to track time even when the app is not on the screen--the number of timers running is indicated with a number on the app tile (like the email app shows # of new emails). I can't think of anything they could improve and there is not a bug in sight. A great value and quickly indispensible.

Best time tracking and invoicing app for any device. I've been a user of TimeTTracker for Windows mobile for a few years. Moving to the iPhone this app may not have all the advanced features of TT, but the invoicing addition makes up for it. I've tried all the time tracking and invoicing software for the iPhone. This is by far the most complete and feature rich product available. I have been using this daily for a couple years now and it simplifies so much of my time tracking and billing. The support is also top notch.

Best Timesheet out there!. This app does EVERYTHING I need it to do. Very eligant interface, GREAT reports! I tried finarX Timesheet, and this app far exceeds what that one can do. If you have any doubts, just check out the website videos, and contact the creators of this as they are VERY responsive and help with any doubts you may have for what it can do. I am a software developer and can have a LOT of different projects that I may work on any given day, and this sorts out all my time for me! I hardly spend any time on it, and that is what you want! More time for work!

Good except reports lack basic info. This may be great for those needing a lot of detail. The reports are confusing for infrequent users, generating 2 different ones with different info covered. None of this shows up in the app when the report is generated. I often end up with a screen shot of the total texted to me if I don't explain in detail what I need. It's 5 star with textable reports showing beginning and ending dates and hour totals

Clunky, obtuse, frustrating. I don't understand the positive reviews. I've used a lot of time tracking systems in my lifetime, so I know it can be done better. This app requires way too many clicks and selections to complete all common activities, and the billing module (an extra cost option) is an absolute joke. The billing module has zero customization, prints out each time entry separately with no option to collapse or summarize within jobs or categories (so you get ugly multi-page invoices) and has weak or no features for tracking payment progress. I'm also getting invoices with zero totals, because it forgets the billing rate. I have to redo all invoices manually using a different program.

Best one I've tried. Features I especially like: - Ability to track by project and task as well as client - Rounding - Clocking in and out multiple times on the same entry (tap the green highlight) - Ability to quickly add time to an entry that you forgot to track - Plenty of room in the "notes" field Features I wish it had: - Ability to mark a time entry "billed"--different clients want me to invoice in different ways and at different intervals, so I like to be able to quickly verify that every time entry has been billed

Fantastic app with fantastic support. This is the only time tracking app that has the flexibility and reporting that I need. Not only that, but the development is spot on with their support. I was experiencing a bug so I posted on their forums. Within a few minutes I had a response and Adam at On Core was working with me to pinpoint the problem. He was able to figure out the problem and the development instituted a fix and had an updated version of the app out the next day. I work in the software industry and this is exactly the kind of support I'm expected to provide our clients. It's in credible to be on the receiving end of such fantastic service.
