New version with lists is horrible. As a 10+ year Foursquare user I’m truly in disbelief about the overall functionality in the latest version, which makes it almost impossible to manage lists (the primary feature/use of this app for me and most dedicated users). Why do I have to click a million buttons to add something to a specific list now? Why does it immediately add it to my Saved Places rather than giving me the option for which list I’d like to add it to as it did before? Why do lists no longer show the number of places you’ve been to on a list? I’m so confused. One of the most illogical and user un-friendly updates to almost any app I’ve ever used.

Eh, outdated, but still useful. From the UI to the actual content of the app everything is rather outdated. While it does lists a lot of businesses and many great tips and reliable ratings it all seems a bit old. There are businesses listed that are out of business for a couple of years now. The tips are all a couple of years old as well. The UI has a lot of small text and tiny controls. It seems to ignore my system font size settings.

Please bring back previous UI design.. Please bring back previous user interface app design or change this new look. It’s annoying and much less intuitive and confusing, specially for frequent users like me. I’m using this app for more than a decade. Please.

A shadow of former glory.... Up until about a week ago I always considered Foursquare a more functional & aesthetically pleasing alternative to Yelp, however, that ship has sailed with the removal of the “Expertise” system. Removal of the “Expertise” system did a handful of really detrimental things: removing the ability to easily know if a user was reliable, removing a great organizational system for your tips, & removing a fun sense of progression. This update really killed Foursquare for me, & that’s with it already lingering behind Yelp in terms of users & current data. TLDR: Foursquare lost a lot of functionality in a recent update. It’s not worthwhile & you should focus your energy & time on Yelp.

One of the best apps I’ve ever used.... So thoughtful the way it’s set up, it gets right to the point when you open the app and are looking for something like coffee or food. It reminds me of Yelp (one of my most common go to apps), but better. I can get right to what I’m searching for so quickly, very impressive!!! Very intuitive and user friendly...love the rating system, better than others!!!

Horrid App Doesn’t take down fictitious locations!. Someone created a strip club page for our family farm. They will not take it down! I can’t creat a legitimate page for our 20 year old family farm business. I can’t take the false page down or even comment on it to let people know our home is NOT a triple X STRIP Club! Sites like FourSquare City Guide are illegitimate, because they allow ugly people to create fictitious information about locations with no confirmations.

"Oops, something went wrong". I stuck with Foursquare after the split (even though I wasn't pleased about it) and have been contributing for years. But a few weeks ago the apps stopped working with the VPN services I use. Really? I hate to do it but I guess it's time to finally get rid of the apps. As a cybersecurity professional I constantly run VPN for a number of reasons, and if my IP address is that valuable it's time to move on.

♥️ Mariano’s ♥️ Is LOVE ♥️. Thank you Mariano’s. I was shopping at your Naperville store, and you had a very mellow group of musicians who were absolutely amazing this past week. I left my home a tad stressed, but when I began shopping at Mariano’s ~ I immediately headed for this particular group of musicians, and I began to listen, relax, and shop, til I was “completely”relaxed as so were many of your customers on this day. I bought so many delicious fruits and, vegetables 🍅🍍🥑🍉🍓🍌🥦🥕🥒🌶 and a variety of fresh herbs 🌿 I included a pork roast, shrimp and dairy. I continued to venture, finding my way into your flower 🌸🌹and plant 🪴 department where I purchased 🌹 Then making my way to cosmetics. (Great selections) 💋 Thank you Mariano’s for making my shopping experience feel as if I was on vacation. Sandra F. (Coconut) from Naperville Illinois 🦋🎶🌹🛒🛍♥️🌿💋🎼🙌🥰☀️🥂

Works great. I have found great new places to try and restaurants off the beaten path with this app. It has also contributed to some of the best meals I ever had and helped me find new mainstays I now regularly visit. It provides great efficient information on the go. It also helps with the typical "where do you want to go?" Couples discussion.

Fully Broken. This app doesn’t even get as far as an account login/sign up. It’s immediately “oops something went wrong” followed by a blank screen with a loading animation that never goes away. I submitted a bug report but the process to do so was so cumbersome and unclear, I’m not sure if my bug report was even captured. This problem persists through using WiFi and cellular data and after re-installing the app from scratch. I’m a software engineer and this is pretty terrible guys. I was ready to replace Yelp with this because I’m simply tired of Yelp, but that’s not possible if the extent of your app’s functionality is an error message and a blank loading screen.

Casa Del Bosque vineyards. Excellent wine tasting very instructive, nice restaurant good food ( Risotto a bit to salty for me) prompt service a bit pricey and too warm inside however 4.8/5 for us Thanks/Merci Karina or Carina our wine tasting wine guide as a very good English speaking ,knew a lot on the wine from the Casa Del Bosque was safe and pleasant as well as very well manners!!!!

Nicer than Yelp. Have been wanting Foursquare to get on the stick and start meaningfully competing with Yelp, and it seems that they finally have. Came back to check out the app again after a significant hiatus, and it is pretty nice now. Easy to use, integrates info updates into the reviewing process, visually appealing, etc. Pretty pleased so far. Going to try switching over to it for a while and see how it goes.

Classic pizza III Resturant. Great food. I have eaten there many times and had good experiences. Went last nite with family after grandsons concert nearby. We all enjoyed it. Ordered pizza, salad, gyros and drinks. Pizza was tasty and excellent ( Greek MA style). Gyros were large and so tasty that kids ate them all to the last bite. Salad had lots of veges n good sized. Great service from the two girls at counter and the owner chef made sure we got the food exactly as we wanted. Friendly service n good food with decent prices what more can you want? Visit soon? We will again.

Good app but needs to notify on location faster. It’s a great app to write reviews and rate a place on Nans about the experience but it can be slow at times with the updates on the places you’ve been to. Slow as in the places registering in the where you’ve been and how fast it should show up with the app. Other than that it’s a wonderful application!

Pollo Lico. This place is Great if your looking for some Great chicken. More of a local known spot if you are into those type of restaurants. I would definitely pick this place over the more Traditional Pollo loco. The place dose not have much seating inside. There is a billiards next to it where you can also play and order from there if you'd like to stay and have some drinks. As far as the other things on the menu. I have not yet tryed.

A shell of its former glory that sells your data. If it’s rated 8-10 on here it’s likely a 2-3 Star yelp review and not worth your time. Also make sure you turn off all push notifications because they will spam you via them often with recommendations to try for places thousands of miles away that you’ve already been to or would never go to. Literally the only thing Foursquare exists for anymore is to try to track your location 24/7 to seek you to other companies. There is zero value left in their recommendation engine and the way they openly flaunt selling your location for nothing to everyone is horrifying.

Still Great. Foursquare has changed (pivoted?) a few times since I first installed it years ago. But it is still great and still really useful on a daily basis. Yelp and Foursquare honestly both belong on my phone. They give a broader perspective on the restaurants and other places in my area. Foursquare’s recommendation engine in particular can sometimes uncover places I specifically would like. That’s worth something!

Foursquare deleted all my lists. I've been using Foursquare and Swarm since 2013 and carefully curated lists of all my favorite places in some 10 cities around the globe since then. One day I opened the app and was shocked that all the lists I had created were gone. When I contacted customer service, they said this was because they had flagged my account for not following house rules. I use Foursquare/Swarm almost every day, so this struck me as odd. I read the house rules and confirmed I hadn't violated any of them. The developer said they would restore my lists. A week later, when none of my lists were back, I followed up. The developer said they had deleted all my lists by mistake when they placed the flag on the account! I'm deeply disappointed in the app, and never coming back.

Lost all my data. I spent years creating a list of ‘saved’ places that I have been to and liked in various cities. As I said, it has taken me YEARS to compile this list. You can imagine my frustration to learn that after trying to log in one day, the app said it did not recognize my email address and I have to create an account. My treasured list is totally gone!!! I will never use this app ever again! Btw, after this happened, I talked to several other people that said it happened to them too.

I Love Kickboxing - Liverpool NY. I love kickboxing has changed my life!!! I never thought I could do a workout like this but the staff is so awesome and motivating!! They will help you perfect your workout every time!! If time permitted I would go everyday of the week. My friends and coworkers encouraged me to at least try it out and I’m so happy I did. Can’t recommend it enough!!!

Picture shown part. I really need to choose which part of picture is shown in my page before anyone click “specially when the picture is vertical”. Sometimes the only part displayed in my page is the street not the food. I think it will make picture more attractive for others to click on. Thank you!

That did not work. I downloaded the program three times with the same results. The program starts and then a popup appears stating “Oops something went wrong” then a red circle starts rotating. The last time I tried to run the program when red circle started I placed the phone down on the table and checked it after one hour still circling then at two then three hours with the same thing going on. I then checked before going to bed still circling, got up in the morning and closed and removed the program as a lost cause. I’m now going to try something else to use with my Garmin RV780 for our travels.

Great food app!. I’ve use this app in several cities to find good places to eat. It never strayed me wrong like all the other apps have and I always found a great experience when I use this. Thank you for making a quality product, you were the best.

Don’t Bother / Update. I was surprised to hear from the app developer who managed to get back about half my information which made things a little better so I upped my rating from 1 star to 3. I am still missing my reviews. I recently took the time to review Shawarma and Gyro Express. There was zero information on this recently opened restaurant. I took photos of the menu, the restaurant and left an excellent review because I love this place, but it’s not in my liked places. The incomplete menus are still an issue. I’m missing all my out of town stuff from Boston to Virginia Beach. If I take the time to review and add photos, id like to be able to access those, so still disappointed. I also noticed that the reviews are characters limited with no warnings. You can’t give a good review and include all the good stuff in a few sentences. I loved URBAN SPOON and wish it were modeled more after that. Very disappointed. This app recently had an overhaul and in the process, I not only lost all my saved (to try) places but also my favorites. I have left a few reviews on the new app to help populate it but I can’t even access that either. Now when I look for something all I get are incomplete restaurant profiles with no menus. It’s been months since the update and most restaurants are asking us to update photos, menu etc. Surely in this day and age, the transition to the new format should have seamlessly integrated the old data.

Looks horrible now. 10+ year Foursquare/Swarm user here. It’s a given that the apps are way past their peak. It’s ok that the company has long pivoted and found a way to be profitable without having questionable privacy policy (hello Google and other big tech names!) and managed to remain independent. But at this point it honestly seems like they want to make the app worse? The last updates to Foursquare have been really unfortunate. The venue view seems like it’s one big white screen, with no clear division between different sections (maps, reviews, buttons etc.). Lousy UX and readability. I know anything that is not B2B and profit-making has long gone in the back burner for the company, but that was so uncalled for. Just bring back the old looks. Cheers to the team, as I truly respect this company!

My Favorite App of All Time. I use Foursquare to explore new cities, find cool spots and create lists of all the greatest places so i can find somewhere that fits my needs at the drop of a hat! Whether you’re a coffee shop aficionado, are looking for a new place to eat or hoping to dance the night away, Foursquare will help you find where you’re meant to be.

Need greeters to help handicap. I was at Meigers today, and there was a 72 year old Beautiful lady sitting by the door with a cart. I went to the pharmacy and got my stuff and when I was leaving she was still sitting there so I asked her are you alright? She said no I’m not alright! She was out of breath from walking. There was no greeters to help her or to even help her. After I got John the pharmacist to help things start happening. But I just was walking by she needed helpers to get things done. We waited over 1 hour for help. I had to ask their bus driver to wait for her . Meigers really dropped the ball today . What IF SHE WAS YOUR MOTHER. 😟

When you hear the same old lines. When I’m tired of asking “what do you feel like eating?” And hearing the same old “I don’t care, wherever...” I open the Foursquare App and get a fresh new idea. It’s easy and convenient. My man is happy because he doesn’t have to think harder than necessary and I don’t have to eat Jack n the Box every meal. Thanks Foursquare!

Foursquare. This app is definitely one of my favorites for finding places or things to do. If you’re looking for somewhere new to go or do... take a look at this app, because I’m certain you won’t close it until you find what or where you decide to do/go. Thanks “Foursquare” for developing an amazing app. 👍

My travel and "Having Fun Place to go Pal"🥂✌🏻. Excellent tool for people like me that loves to visit new places, enjoy tastes and have adventures. This reminds me restaurants, bars, cities, etc... that I love and those I didn't fall in love that much so I can also give tips to my friends and social media. I simply love Foursquare❤️ makes me feel the Magic of Traveling more intense and to find hidden places I will never knew ❤️🌟🥂

Map icon. In the latest update, apparently the map icon which is located in right top corner does not work. So you have to take 3 steps in order to selcer the region you want to search. But before this you could easily touch the map icon, first find the region you want, then search for places. Please fix this asap.

Don’t update don’t login. I was prompted in the latest version to login/update etc. I did assuming feature improvements and the usual process. Instead all my lists are gone. I’m not sure whether my previous local saved stuff was attached to my phone or email, but honestly I’m sad. A few years of city history gone in the blink of an eye. I hope this can be made right but no point continuing to invest in reviews/lists given the likelihood they will disappear 😞

This App is Garbage. I’ve been trying for hours to get this app to update a location that I’m trying to use with Twitter for a business-related tweet. Not only does the location not show up on Twitter, but when I go in this app to create the location it tells me that it’s already been created. Then when I go to the created page for my business location and try to update the info, all the updates get wiped after hitting save. What even is the point of this app and service/company existing if it can’t do any basic edits such as these. C’mon.

Good food and good times. I travel a lot and frequently like to find the local spots that are good or are less well known. This app is perfect for that. Some of the best food I’ve had and some of the best times I’ve had with family and friends trying new places has been made possible by this app!!

Foursquare App.. I love this app. You go somewhere you love and you’re excited to share with people. I love also sharing anything I’ve found to be helpful in certain places. It’s just as helpful to read other peoples reviews and tips. I love this app and I have already recommended it!!

Needs Updating. I manage a restaurant in East Lansing, and For Square has made our lives very difficult. The menu is extremely old, doesn’t have correct information, and when I try to change it, I can not log in. If you want people to use your app, you should reach out to the establishments you have listed, not just pick some old menu on the web from 15-20 years ago. Very inaccurate information. Wish you would delete us to avoid further confusion for customers calling us!

Very inaccurate data. I got this app because I needed to manage information about my business listing. In order to do that I had to pay $20 to claim my own business listing. In addition I had to pay $20 for a listing of a business that was in my same location so that I could close it out. In the process of verifying my data I discovered at least 4 additional listings in my area that are obsolete, at least 3 of them are 6 years out of date. I can not recommend this app because the data is simply incorrect. There are better apps than this if you’re looking for local info.

Best way to find the pro you want. This is the best way to safely find the professional, or local place to eat, watch a movie, have s drink, shop, kill time or whatever. I love this app and have used it multiple times. Not sure how they make enough money to justify their exisistance but it is here, so use it!

Fun, informative, and free!. It's a great app to use no matter where you go. It's helpful to put as much info as possible. Others will like your reviews which helps small businesses. The app also keeps up with places you've visited so you could later write your review and input your ratings later.

Can’t delete individual history entries. Hi guys! What’s going on with the app lately? For a couple of months now I’ve been unable to delete entries from my history. These entries were added by background location tracking but they don’t correspond to places I’ve actually been. They account for 10-20% of the places in my history and I want to clean them up. I’ve tried both “no, and remove from my history option” when selecting a place, and also swipe to the left and delete on the history screen. In both cases, the locations are still in the list when I refresh and even after lots of time has passed. This part of the app really needs a some testing and UX love.

Quickly find your way to nearby destinations while traveling. My new favorite way to find out what's near me when I'm staying overnight in a new place. The categories make it quick and easy. Start with breakfast, then find things to do, a local place for lunch, and more activities for the afternoon. Great for exploring.

Reel fish. From the front door to the back door you feel the authenticity of a concept that has all the heart and ambition of being the very best in what a true conscience sustainably driven concept in seafood really means and that cares about the future of seafood industry. from the sea to the table in ensuring and educating customers working hand in hand with true fisherman and giving respect for our seas and it’s future protection in the menu they serve and the care for each dish being respectful of all seafood and the industry it self and its lively hood And being completely excited maintaining perfection with and with all of their heart! Hats off Fred All My best Chef Terry French World extreme chef

Perfect app, with perfect data everywhere. I really like Foursquare, and it is really easy to find perfect places for a dinner or hangouts. My only problem is the notifications where Foursquare shows tips and asks if you are at a specific place. It has two options: upvote tip, or checkin! What if I want to do both?

Travel app of the world. For something to eat someplace to party someplace to read a book anything in a city that is enjoyable use this app have used it for years truly enjoy the knowledge and expertise and locations that is put for me to find various places of interest

Used to be good. Used to prefer this over the Yelp app, but it’s now fallen behind. The core design is still nice, but new venues show up on Yelp much sooner than they do in Foursquare (if at all). To make matters worse, the app has been throwing errors for some time when trying to add a venue manually, or edit a venue to make suggestions (such as when a venue has closed permanently, to add hours, a location, etc). These errors were reported to the Foursquare team almost five months ago and have still not been addressed. It really does feel like Foursquare’s pivot has left the original app on life support.

All the tips are not visible!. I even sent an email to your support a very detailed description of the problem with screenshots but still no fix yet: On the tips tab, when I click "All Tips", not all of the tips are visible but just exactly 20 of them. for example there are 500 tips for a restaurant, but the app shows me only 20 of them. But interestingly when I click one of the tags, e. g. "hamburger" which is let's say 150 times repeated among the tips all 150 of them are shown. And when I write a review for that venue then all of the 500 reviews become suddenly all visible to me. So unless I write a review for a venue I can only see first 20 the reviews even if it has hundreds of reviews. I have this issue with foursquare from the very start please fix this. update march 19: still no fix.

Obsolete data + Superuser(?) frustration. Developers haven’t replied to reviews in two years so I’m leaving this for fellow users and prospective ones. The quality of the reviews used to be the most reliable and 4SQ was my go-to app to find good places during my frequent travels, but the reviews are now dated and the data on new places and closed places is severely lagging: perhaps if users were more motivated to contribute, as in my case. Yelp is too full of fake reviews and reviews by clueless users who rate everything 5 stars. Google ratings are unreliable because of inflated 5 star reviews and rancorous 1 star reviewers. Apple Maps just recently started collecting ratings (but no actual reviews), which is promising. Foursquare used to be the best, but no longer. Despite having used 4sq for over 10 years, left 600+ tips, uploaded 700+ photos, achieved 20+ different “expertises”, and made 1000+ edits & corrections, I find it annoying to be stuck at superuser level 1 when I see other users with noticeably fewer contributions who sit at higher levels of recognition. I find I get a lot more reward for a lot less activity as a Google Local Guide, despite presumably competing with a much larger population there. It just seem like Foursquare is not very invested in its users.

Bad usability in new update. The new design update has really made finding tips and photos unpleasant and difficult. Pages of all white blocks with no separation of sections. Harder to add tips and tag photos. Example of bad redesign: the “what’s popular here” section removed photos associated with key words, un-bolder the key words and the clickable section of the box is only the bottom 4th. Really bad user design compared to previous version and added nothing new of value to justify change. I’m a long term tip leaver and user of the app.

Great app, consistent UX improvements!. Step aside Yelp, Foursquare is coming for you. Foursquare is by no means new, but they have stepped up their iOS and web app experience big time. It's snappy and clear it's under continuous development. My only gripe is the last update made getting to the maps and hours a little more convoluted, but you get used to it. Tell your friends!

Find gems. that will find you!. Foursquare has been constantly evolving. Now it’s a resource to discover cool places to visit, from sightseeing to great dining, local staples, hidden gems... all over the world!! It’s fantastic to get their recommendations when you arrive in a new city or neighborhood, so you feel like you have bases everywhere... I know there are more features to discover and I can’t wait!

Great travel companion. On a day to day basis it's a bit of fun between friends to try topping the leaderboard and collecting badges but when traveling, Foursquare is great for exploring the area and seeing comments and suggestions left by others. We've found a few hidden gems in our travels using Foursquare (and known what to avoid to).

Good fun. I enjoy using it and seeing what friends are up to. Often off the mark and tells me I'm too far from a place when the map says I am right there, also glitches a bit and say to try again later which is a bit pointless.

Foursquare frozen from 2014. You never listened, now foursquare is abandoned and everything in it is extremely outdated. Well done.

Good fun but need to have a lot of friends using too.. Only worthwhile if friends play too. Allows you to control only close friends to see check ins which is better than Facebook. Needs to refine checking in. Should be one tap on place name not 4! Some deals are not honoured and foursquare do not reply to emails.

AWESOME!!!!. I absolutely love this app!!!! A lot of the pages to choose to be liked are American but that's okay. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to navigate. It's not dissimilar to Roamz but that's okay because there seems to be much more content in this. I love the fact that I can link other social networking app's to it as well, like Facebook and Twitter - I just need to figure out how to link Instagram to it now also.

Great App, needs fixes.. Fantastic App which I use daily however needs facebook integration fixed. No longer posts locations on facebook with map and needs restrictions that prevents logins when you are not within reasonable distance to the venue. More badges would also be welcomed. Highly recommended.

Me myself and I. Still love it and use it regularly. Would like a function to notify of a venue with multiple entries - sometimes people add a venue when it is already on and it gets silly having to choose which one to use. Also, I feel the feedback people leave about a venue should be posted with the most recent first - to allow a venue to redeem itself.

Great idea..... Love this app. It's becoming a habit to check-in wherever I go. One thing I would like for next update is to be able to see what each badge is worth before you receive it (explain what you receive the badge for) so I can see what to work towards. Then I will happily give 5 stars. :)

Foursquare is now *very* useful. Foursquare has had a major reboot, and is now a very useful travel companion. Gone are the silly points and rankings. Now it is all about useful ratings and reviews relevant to where you are and what you like. No more 'Starbucks is popular'... Bravo on the redevelopment!

Great fun!. This app is the best CAPTCHA generator I’ve ever seen. If you love tapping on squares to help Google improve their algorithm to categorise photos, then look no further! Hours of entertainment to be had, finding the bicycle, or the hydrant, or the crosswalk... I got so engrossed that I forgot to eat and needed hospitalisation for malnutrition.

Love it!. Now with the weekly score board on screen every time I check in it's actually a real game. I used to get bored of it and stop playing for months on end, but now I'm determined to beat people's scores, and my own weekly high score!

Love the app, over 75 badges., BUT...... HATE how u can't get notifications to more than one device, so outta my iPad 4, my 2 iPhone 5S's and my S4 I can choose only one to get notifications?? Why, all other apps as large and pop as 4Sq gives notifications to ALL my devices.. Really annoys me, if I'm out of credit on my device that's getting notif, then I don't get anything on my devices.. Needs to be fixed, used to get it on all devices.. 3🌟 coz it works and is stable, 5🌟 when u let all divvies logged in get notified of events..

Sign In with Apple doesn’t work. Sign In with Apple doesn’t work

Still Needs Work. The app is still posting under the wrong accounts - after posting a tip or something similar, it appears under someone else's name and not by the original poster. This has been going on for about 3 or 4 years and hasn't been fixed. Swarm even opens the Foursquare app and won't let us sign into our own accounts. I hope businesses understand that the posts are not being submitted by the name they see with that post.

Beautifully designed application. Foursquare gas come a long way. What used to be an addictive diversion, has now become a genuinely useful tool for finding out what's happening around you. Really comes into its own when travelling to a new city and you are looking for things to do. Great interface.

Great for exploring. If I'm heading to a new city and want to know what's great for tiramisu or burgers or coffee or anything, I use Foursquare to see what the people who have been there like and think. Found some great places through Foursquare. Little hideouts that I would have missed otherwise.

Great fun!. I love it. The Explore feature is a great way to find cool places in unfamiliar cities or even new spots in your hometown. My friends and I keep in touch somewhat by making comments on each other's checkins even from opposite sides of the globe.

Used to be the champion. Foursquare used to be the Go-To app when out and about, be it food, events or whatever you were in the hunt for Foursquare had it. Rewarded the frequent users, helpful tips for travellers and locals alike. And oh, Swarm was its own app. But now, I can’t leave a tip, or add pics, or learn of live events…it’s useless tbh. So either restore it to the king it was or kill it. Simple

Inconvenient check-in feature. I used to enjoy so much of the check-in and its competitive nature with my friends. However recent feature change of check-in made me dumbfounded, not seeing where I can check in on places without leaving tips. So I back out as it seems 4SQ has made me worked too much. Just clicking check-in I don't mind, but to leave tips each time I am at a place, too much work and very annoying.

Check-in Addicted. I'm now a Superuser Level 1 user and am addicted to Foursquare. However since becoming a heavy check-in place editor, I have noticed the editing screens to be a little buggy. The "submit changes" button does not stay at the bottom of the screen. Please fix. I use an iPhone 5. Keep up the great work guys :)

Cant check-in. I had to download the new 'swarm' app, as foursquare defaults to here to check in, so you are effectively transferring between apps. That *might* be ok, however the in the new app, you have to select for your friends to be able to find you, in your neighbourhood, EVEN WHEN THE APP IS CLOSED. Thanks, but NO, I REFUSE. I will not have my location broadcasted out even when I choose to not do so. I would like to choose the locations to which I check in to, not have these other people know where I am at any time. I WILL NOT BE USING FOURSQUARE AGAIN UNLESS THEY ANNOUNCE THEY HAVE CHANGED IT BACK. USELESS.

Trying to change a business name for the past month with no response or acknowledgement. We have 2 large shopping centres and are not able to change the business name, very frustrating.

Removing check-in a mistake. Unbundling the check-in function is just stupid. It now takes two apps to do the previous role performed by one. How is that a benefit? But more importantly, it makes it harder for users to make Foursquare useful. Not everyone wants to find their friends or share their location directly with others users. To me, the great benefit of Foursquare is the power of crowdsourcing, especially when travelling. Recently, we were overseas, and used Foursquare to find all sorts of good cafes, restaurants, and other entertainment we would otherwise have not found. Those in turn were rated highly and recommended by Foursquare because people were checking in. We in our turn also checked in at places we liked. We didn’t do this to find friends. We had none in the country. We checked in to contribute. With a separate app, why bother? More importantly, hundreds if not thousands of other users are asking the same question. So, the end result is that the benefit of crowdsourcing will diminish over time, and so the utility of Foursquare will reduce. And so it goes, in an ever diminishing spiral, until Foursquare becomes the MySpace of location-based check-in apps. “What ever happened to Foursquare?” “Oh, they became arrogant and thought they knew better than their user base, so everyone abandoned them for apps that actually promised what they delivered."

Recent US Trip. Used the App all the time in San Francisco whilst on holiday. Without it we would have missed out on a lot of cool cafes cafes and restaurants!

Great refresh!. Version 5 brings a much-needed refresh to the design and feel of the Foursquare app. Although it felt a little too Pinterest-y at first with the grid layout, the ability to see more chronological updates and more visuals definitely make this a sexy app

:S. I'm glad there was a new update cos it had been the same for a while now. I can tolerate the profile layout since I don't really look at it that much. I like the new check in with the map as well but what I really don't like is the Friends section. It's so complicated and messy. It's so hard to differentiate between nearby and worldwide. You can see friends multiple check ins so if a friend moves around a lot you're going to be flooded by their check ins in comparison to someone who doesn't check in that much. So by saying that, I prefer the old layout as it was simple and easy on the eyes. This just makes it harder to see where your friends are :/ It's getting too much like Facebook where your friends can see every little thing you're doing...

Great for finding good coffee near you.. Have had a lot of success with this app. I mainly use it to find good coffee.

Can’t add tips?. Recently updated & now can’t provide tips? When it goes to adding comments the app crashed. Disappointed, please fix.

Great for twitter users!. I love foursquare, it makes my twitter experience so fun. Although i think that the app should show the amount of check-ins there have been for each particular venue. Otherwise, its very confusing and annoying when you choose the wrong duplicate (ive done it many times before, so frustrating!!)

Not enjoying the future. I used to love this app, it's great for traveling and keeping track of what you're doing and finding new things, but now things are changing, no more badges, no more points, I don't like the route the company is taking. Don't exclude the gaming part of the app altogether, or at least create a secondary app, like swarm, for those who are more interested in the game angle!!! Especially the badges, they are fun!!

Fun and addictive!. I've found many great restaurants/cafes based on tips left by other users and other venues to explore. As for rapid check-ins, you can’t check in to more than three venues over a 15 minute period or more than 30 venues in 24 hours.

Improved!. Foursquare has come a long way from hipster check-in plaything to a local guide that compete with the like of Yelp. Subscribing to some city list also a great way to know around a new place, something that I've discovered. In addition user base recommendation is something to check out when thinking of finding new place to eat or hangout.

Addicted. I love foursquare! It makes going to the same old places everyday more fun. It's great that you can leave tips for people (especially when you get great or terrible service), and you don't have to worry about checking in too much & annoying people as everyone else on your list checks in too! Fun :)

Worth getting. If you like social media apps then this is definitely worth a try. You will want some friends to use it too, as you can compete to see who gets the most check in points and coolest badges and see when they are near you. Make sure you make your checkins friends only though as otherwise you will be announcing to the world when your house is empty! The only problem is sometimes my phone gps places me a short distance from where I actually am and foursquare refuses to acknowledge my checkin as legit. Would like more Aussie content.

Unauthorized use of private info. I received two emails saying people were now my friends in Foursquare. I had not even downloaded the app. I downloaded it because it was the only way to reach the developer, but I will be deleting it as soon as I have posted this review. How did it get my email address? How did it create a profile for me? How do people I've never met before (even online) become friends with me on the profile I didn't create? I can't find a way to report breaches of privacy yet, but I won't stop trying to find a way.

Great Food Great Service. We had the pleasure to stay in the hotel behind this restaurant (RK Hotel) for 14 nights. We enjoyed lunches, dinners and drinks either overlooking the beach or poolside service. The food is fresh and quality products are used. Personal service with a smile each time. I strongly recommend dinning here in Kamari.

Map refuses to show!!. Wow what a poor team of developers you guys got. How could NONE of you found out that your tiny little map button next to the search text field does NOT work?? And you guys deployed it?? How poorly designed is your test suite to miss such an obvious bug? Do your job properly!

Foursquare = fun!. I love the concept of this app & have recommended it to many of my friends who use Facebook Places, as it's more fun with features such as earning badges and becoming the mayor of a certain place! It's also a great way to discover new places around you as any individual can contribute to the community! It could be better if the app allowed you to tag your FB & Twitter friends easier, as well as the ability to manage your check-in history, but otherwise a very cool app which I use on an almost daily basis!

Love my foursquare. Foursquare's not only a bit of fun, I've met knew people and discovered great new places through it. It's also a powerful marketing tool for businesses. The iPhone app just makes it so easy to use, and I love the fact that it knows the vicinity of where you are. Nearby suggestions and Push notifications are great!

Adding friends is bugged. Especially adding from linked Facebook account, this feature has been broken for over a year, all requests for support go unanswered. The usability of the app is nice and easy once you get the hang of it, but having to individually search for friends is arduous. They really need to focus on fixing these bugs, there are forums all over the Internet with the same problem and not one has been fixed.

I just want to see where my friends are!!!!. In a very early version of Foursquare there was a little summary page of the last/most recent check in from my friends. Can I have it back please? I have to go mining down the "All Activity" list just to see where my friends have checked in. If none of them are "Nearby", i.e. a few kilometres away, they don't appear on my list. Grrrrr….

The Original and Best. Facebook Places is for people that want to tell you where they've been. Foursquare is for people that want to know what to do when you get there. Endless integration with other great apps and social networking sites. Still the best in my opinion

Better before Swarm. The latest update removes the ability to check in. That functionality is now in a desperate app, called Swarm, designed to be more of a social 'what are my friends up to right now' type of deal. I used to enjoy checking in, seeing the tips come up and leaving one of my own as a kind of endorsement. I suppose I can still review places, but without checking in it's less fun somehow. As for Swarm, it's Foursquare without reviews. Which is to say, not very useful. If I'm out it's either with friends I've organized beforehand, or without friends by design. If you don't need to know that your buddy Bob is having a hamburger around the corner from you right now, Swarm might not hold much interest either.

Helpful in times of boredom!. I love using Foursquare because it gives you something to do while you wait. If I'm standing in a queue, or waiting for a coffee at a cafe, this is the perfect way to break up those few moments of monotony. I love leaving and reading through the tips as well, it's a really worthwhile idea!

Love it.. But..... As much as I love using Foursquare, it has problems. Sometimes it just won't load places close by or won't lead you add a place. The main issue I'm having at the moment is unable to add/accept more friends cause 1000 is meant to be the maximum but I have over 1500. So kinda doesn't make sense. Why set a limit of friends. Also in Australia it's a lot harder for us to earn badges and less promotions. Besides all that, it's a great App.

Ruined And Pointless. Before the introduction of swarm, foursquare was wonderful. It was like playing a video game with your life, there was no app like it. Now it's nothing but a local guide similar to Yelp or countless others. Swarm does not replace the old foursquare and it's incredibly frustrating to see hundreds of negative reviews being ignored. Can you please just bring back the app we know and love? Everyone is begging you. Leave swarm for those who want it, but please give us foursquare back. Badges, points, mayorships, tips, there was nothing else like it out there. Please listen to your customers. We're all telling you what we want. We hate this app after what you've done to it. It's a poor business decision to ignore your fan base. (The longer you leave it, the faster it will diminish.)

So easy to use. Foursquare is easy to use and has so many options. It’s great

🤡. 😍

Great social discovery with a bit of friendly competition. Build your history to get relevant recommendations when you're looking for something new in your town or in a new town. Plus with a little competition among your friends.

Foursquare connects. A great social networking tool using GPS and check-ins, where users aim to collect points and mayorships for regular visits to venues. Special edition badges keep it interesting and venues have the option to get in on the fun with the addition specials for their customers. A must have for all social media enthusiasts and social butterflies alike.

Vraiment utile. J’ai suivi les avis plusieurs fois dans différentes villes et n’ai jamais été déçu!

Garbage - Deleted. App won’t let you create an account - ‘Oops something went wrong’ - tried 2 step verification 3 times then deleted the app. Noticed many other users have fed back the same comments.

Poor app development. 5hrs of background battery drain. Unacceptable!

4 square. Love this app! Easy to use, intuitive, gives accurate information about places and things to do, just great! It’s my go-to app to find a place, any place.

not meant for Canada. awesome app, but not much activity in Canada so far. Can't wait for more deals

Suggestion. One of my go-to apps for travel! Just wish there was an option to make sublists, or folders to categorize lists by. Lists as well – it’d be great if we had more editing ability in terms of order and display filters.

canada please. i would like to see this available for toronto, montreal, and vancouver

App forces location tracking. The app blocks you from using it if you don't set location tracking to "always" instead of only while the app is in use. Immediately uninstalled.

Great. Wonderful place to get advice from locals

Great app. I love this app for touring around the country. Best way to decide where to eat or how to spend an unplanned afternoon.

Great App to work with my GPS. My GPS uses FourSquare to help locate places.

No more check ins?! :O. The check-ins were the whole point I used the app!! Now I see no point in having this app anymore.

4 Square. I am starting to enjoy using this app It is 4 and it is square

Cool but is it dead. I loved checking in before but then Facebook did check in’s and well you get to see cool places and it’s a bit like yelp Facebook Twitter and well I wish it would all just combine

Went downhill after the update. Requires access to your location at all times (as opposed to only when you're using the app). Also requires you to sign in with email or Facebook to use the app. Thanks but no thanks.

Chekky. Every time today when I click on the location setting in Chekky, it brings me to your app, and it shows a black screen with blue buttons that won’t bring me to anywhere, please fix it

The demise of foursquare. Swarm just destroyed everything.

It was a great app. I used this app few years ago, and I absolutely love it! And recently I downloaded this app again, and it's horrible, I can't find nearby places and gps are not working, pls fix it

Glitches everywhere!. iPhone 6 and glitches all over the app: can not unfollow anyone, can not add interests, etc.

App is so far out of date.. Looking for some restaurants, and the app comes up with quite a few that have been closed for years.

Great updates. More montrealers need this app

Why fix something that was good?. I used to really love foursquare and was a big advocate for the app. I did not download Swarm since I refuse to check-in in another app (totally ridiculous to have two apps when one app had been perfect all this time). It has honestly been months since I have last used foursquare. Occasionally, I do miss reading the tips (which essentially was my favourite part of foursquare), and I've only re-downloaded just now because I want to access my lists of saved places. Other than that, back to boycotting foursquare until it unifies itself with Swarm. ...which I suppose it's starting to be never, and in that case, it will be "goodbye" to foursquare again.

Maybe it’s time to put FS and Swarm back together. I’ve had FS on my iPhone now for over ten years but rarely open it. I do open SWARM daily now, which is an all FS used to run that lets people checkin to places they visit. But wow… I first joined on February 4, 2012. I regularly earn at least 1500 coins weekly on Swarm. I’ve never gamed the app for points, each checkin is to a place I actually go to. I try to say why I’m at the place in my checkin, in a manner that tells a story about my day. But wow - so many things don’t work now. Here’s some outstanding issues: 1. The biggest thing wrong is the inability to suggest edits. When I do, it says something went wrong. If it’s a big glaring error, the best I can do is leave a tip about it, if it’s something people should know. This is especially frustrating with newer businesses, even when I’ve added them. 2. A second issue I’ve had is with suggesting spots for either deletion or amalgamation. I actually have several places I visit regularly that have ended up with multiple entries. There is an option for reporting duplicates but no one at Swarm does anything about it. 3. The in-camera function freezes when I try to take a photo to go with my checkin. I love including photos so it shows I’ve actually been there. And I try to make them interesting. A local cafe I go to renovated this year, and they were so happy to learn about Swarm and all the photos of their shop that were there from over the last 15 years. I listed these in my SWARM review but these edit functions also exist within FS and they don’t work in FS either. There are other things too but these three are top of mind. I’ll add to this list as things come up as I do use it daily.

Discover the Right Food For You. The Foursquare community is what makes this app. The map view is awesome, the reviews are accurate, and the tips are really helpful. Plus, reviewing restaurants is super quick and easy.

Won’t let me sign up. Every time I try to sign up or use app with out logging in it gives me “oops something went wrong”. After setting up an account and entering the verification code, same message …” oops something went wrong”. This app crashes. Deleted!

Is it Foursquare?. Whyyyy?Seriously?People already have yelp. Releasing swarm for checkins and now this app for what? Seriously developers could combine all of these functions is one app

No Dark Mode. Blinding white app on a dark phone. 😣

Super Useful. Great way to discover new places!

Always allow location?. Why is it that I have to “always allow” location services if I am looking for a place by name? Especially when I’m searching for a place that IS NOT near me? Clear violation of my privacy for no reason.

Plz fix. Tried signing in and kept telling me I had to be over 16 even when I put 2000 as my birth year.

Swarm sucked the life out of foursquare. I just deleted foursquare and swarm. The fun is gone swarm killed what foursquare could have been. It's so sad.

Best travel app. Foursquare is my goto for any trip around the world.

Très bien!. Très bon dans l’ensemble!

What happened?!. Horrible new logo. Checkin's are gone and now I'm expected to download a separate app. No thanks...delete, delete.

Amazing. It is one of best app I have installed on my phone... I loveeee it...👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Good app. Enjoy it.

I miss the old version!!. I didn't download swarm because its too much of a hassle to switch between the two apps for similar information. The old version was way better.

This app is getting worse :(. I used to LOVE Foursquare. All these recent changes and the need for a second app have really got me disinterested in using it. I for want Yelp. If I wanted Yelp, I'd open Yelp.

Best travel and dining app. Simple to use, and here in Mexico, everybody is using it. Real and up to date info!!

Disappointed (yet again). More poor decisions that show this app only cares about stealing our data so they can sell it. Now the app won’t stop bugging me to enable tracking (and covering part of the screen with a persistent alert). No. No I won’t. I hope Apple also bans this behaviour. Once was a fun app. Farewell forever Foursquare.

Loading terribly. I only use on occasion to find a nice lunch place in a new area, etc. Every time I open the app, it sticks on the loading screen for over 1-2 minutes. To the point where I give up loading and use Google Maps to find a place. This happens consistently over updates, I assume because I don't use it often. Other than that it's a gem.

Tbnk. Meme pas cappable de me connecter esti c’est quoi ça 🤬

So sad. Used to be a great app until they forced half of it (the fun part, specifically check ins) over to another app. Sadly it has been removed from my phone as it no longer serves any purpose. Why fix what's not broken? Only they know. Don't waste the memory.

Moving to Yelp! 8.0 just gets worse lol. I want everything in one app not two and for this very reason I find no use in either Foursquare or Swarm. You can discover new places, review and CHECK IN with Yelp so I'll be deleting both Foursquare and Swarm. Shame as I was a longtime user. Bye

Keeps getting worse. Foursquare used to be so fun but it has completely deteriorated. I no longer check in as I refuse to download use swarm and now foursquare has turned into this over complicated search engine.

Applications inutiles..

Super convenient and useful!. I use FourSquare to determine where to go. Their evaluations are always enlightening and insightful! I've use it when travelling in NYC and California, but also when we were in Jamaica, and use it daily in Toronto. It's helped me discover new spots even in my hometown.

App has many glitches during signup. Wasted so much time trying to set up account Don’t bother

Stupid. Doesn’t show everything. Unreliable comments and reviews and no information about the places around.

Broken / updated. How do you get support for this app??? Updated to five stars now that app is working again! Turned out to be a false claim (most likely) from someone that must have lost their mayorship on swam!

A must app!. The options are always accurate on their recommendations and has a lot of choices to make, i always use it for everything and never disappoint me

Love this app. This is my go to for restaurant recommendations especially while traveling. The recommendations I feel are more from foodies and you don’t end up in super touristy spots

One of the best apps by far!. This app centralizes and synthesizes information from a vast amount of data a provides the user with an easy to navigate interface to find exactly what you want to eat.

Great service. This is the best place to have family parties, date night, and just an evening with friends. The dinner for two is more than you can eat. All there food here is wonderful.

Hotel. We drove through five accidents and a snowstorm. After that, with exhaustion, we needed to rest. Foursquare found us a wonderful hotel just by using search location. It was that easy! Thank you

Informative & competitive!. Excellent for finding places when traveling. Points among friends is fierce! The four rating comes due to a couple places being closed & four square had them on their list. If it’s out of the way, call.

Can’t Update Profile. Since we Created the Profile for our Business, Many Things have Changed including our Location and Services. Unfortunately EVERY TIME I Update the Information NONE of the New Information Saves! I’ve Tried Reaching out to Developers and Zero Assistance. I’ll Gladly Increase My Star Rating When The App Actually Works, Until Then... 1 Star is About All the App is Worth at This Point.

Foursquare. Addresses incorrect. Many places do not exist anymore, and even when a review says the place isn’t open or in business any more, the site is never updated. Your concept seems well intentioned, but no follow up. I have never got useful information from this site. I am removing you from my phone. Good luck to you. I hope you improve and become current and relevant. Patricia Black

Nice features, crashes a lot. Crashes a lot just searching and adding places to my lists. Seems random, but about once every 15 minutes on my iPad. Update: Clicking on “Contact Us” to report the crashing causes it to crash 100% of the time. The crashing now is totally out of control. Reducing from 4 to 2 star until this is resolved.

Please fix Sign in With Apple. Every time I try signing up using Sign in With Apple I still get a prompt for all of my information like my birthdate and email address even if I select to hide my email from the app. I want to use the app but I do not wish to share all of this information. Please get back to me so that I can change my rating. I really like the idea behind this app and wish to use it.

Dislike the new format. I’ve been using this app for years and am so disappointed with the new boring format. None of the websites connect correctly, you have to search for directions, menus etc. I’m looking for a new app that is more user friendly like this one used to be😔

Easy, Delightful Finds. Quick and easy look up as to your present locale. Give good reviews to make a decision as to where to eat, dance, etc. Especially helpful when out of town.

Long time user. I’ve used Foursquare for years and still recommend it to everyone I know. I have lists created for every city I visit and loads of NYC lists to keep up with all my favorite places and newest hot spots to check out. Love this app! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

VoiceOver Accessibility Issue. I really love this app, but I have a problem regarding voiceOver issue. First, I go to places (lunch, dinner, coffee, etc.), then it has 5 places on the screen, but when I swipe right my finger to move the next place (or 6th place), the VoiceOver takes me back to the first place. Strange. Please fix this issue. 😔 My device: iPhone 7,, iOS 11.2.6., Latest version for Foursquare.

Needs just a tad more options. I love this app I've been using it for years I've accumulated 366 tips in the time I've used this app. I wish they'd add a edit button for tips. This is something I've actually reached out to them and mentioned but it's never been implemented.

Bad pop up placement. Why on earth would you put the “are you here” pop up over the check in button? Of course someone’s going to likely think that’s the right flow, or accidentally click on it. There’s no language that says that clicking on it will lead to an incognito check in. I miss the dodgeball Foursquare days before swarm.

Amazing app, makes it easy to find new places. If we all use this app we can catalog all of the cool places in our cities and make a gigantic database for everyone to share.

Private Information. Great app to use when traveling. Since we are retired, it will be great to log everywhere we have been and where we are going to go with our traveling friends!

It would be a great addition. This app is one of the most useful ones! It misses one thing, put the menus and the prices or at least average prices for a single person… 4 out of 5 for now

Lobby. If the lobby is open, I give it a 5. When only the drive through is open, I give it a two. The last few times I’ve gone, wanting to sit inside, I ride a motorcycle, the lobby has been closed. I ask why, there’s only 3 of us. If three can’t run that place, then you may as well close. If I can’t sit in the lobby anymore, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Triumph Tiger

Didn't think I needed it!. I got the app because of a friends recommendation. Thought it was just another yelp app. It is more than that. I find it easier to do a quick review and it will ask did you go here.

I loved this app from the beginning!. We've had our rough patches. But we made our through! It's a fantastic source of the real way people feel about any place.

Happy & Satisfied. Foursquare is basically the only thing I use when I am just craving something savory or succulent or if I'm just flat out hungry 10/10 would recommend to anybody who is looking for the best low cost restaurants in your area!

All Around #1 on My Favorite Eateries in Wildwood. Excellent Food, Quick Food, Great Service, Fast Service. This is my third visit. I love it. Working out of town, I’ll visit here weekly until my project is done then I’ll visit on my bike trips thru here thereafter!

Awesome Shopping Experience. Been members of Costco since store first came to Boise! Great selection of products, value, and outstanding customer support. Love the kiosk stations with samplers, produce selection, and bakery. Wide variety of wines and electronics! Favorite—-rotisserie chicken 🍗

Fantastic service. Outstanding service. The cappuccino was the best I’ve ever had . My husband’s mocha latte was fantastic. The manager was attentive concern about each guest and all questions were addressed and answered. I will announce them on my radio show mj network, fran Lewis mj network mj magazine just reviews

Restaurants at CDG. Re-loaded the app today to find somewhere to eat at the airport. Was presented with only restaurants off site, after having to agree to let the app access geolocation even when the app wasn’t in use. Deleted after <15 minutes. Probably will not load again. Sheesh, guys.

Love it!. Super cool app, can sometimes catch you off guard to know how accurate it can be on locating your exact location and all the things around you. I love it! Extremely convenient for cities you may be unfamiliar with.

Love this app!. This is my go to app when I'm in an unfamiliar place. It's also fantastic for finding things to do locally that without this, i would have missed out. Honestly my favorite for selecting great restaurants or even great food trucks (Buffalo NY)

I want my list back. I have been using this app for years. With the new update, it seems like I can only see them in a map form. Lists are GONE!!!! Can you please have the lists back????

Look around... you will find it. Foursquare is awesome... discovered it several years ago and have found some of the best places I never would have known were there! Definitely recommend

Love the app. I never knew about this app till I was planning to go to Greece. The app has the best in class recommendations and ratings and I found it very helpful during my travel, looking for new places to eat. I recommend strongly.

Huge Fan, Must Have App. Foursquare is the only app I need for discovery when traveling. I'm always sad when a city has fewer tips than I'd like. Highly recommend you get on there and rate places! It's fun and easy!

Best burger in the United States. The best burger I have had not just in America but in the whole world and I have tried them all. When your finished with your burger and your complimentary chili, make your choice of a desert from a long list of homemade bakery items. I love the German chocolate cake.

Map. Where’s the map?! After update the map’s gone and just works when choose one restaurant and in the direction section, what happened?

Many issues. Crashing for years for me - one of crashes is always there (developers seems like don't test or don't know how to fix stuff) - try to view photos of some place, after 10-20+ photos app crashes and I need to start over my search again and again (this bug there for years). No search in place info , like search for place that has tv etc. , small amount of filters. No search saves , ez win for yelp..

Wish it were more widely adopted.. I wish this were more widely adopted. I don’t like using yelp I prefer recommendations from Foursquare. Other than that it’s everything a recommendation app should be.

So far the most accurate rating app for restaurants. I still enjoy browsing Foursquare for restaurants. Its ratings are trustworthy and accurate, each suggestion was amazing!

Foursquare. I’ve used Foursquare to find awesome places! Why waste time and money with hit or miss when you can get a recommendation from people who have actually frequented a place?

Better than yelp. Yelp is a mafia where the most money gets you to the top of search. They even hide restaurants that don’t pay. Foursquare coverage is at least double what Yelp has due to the integrity of their geofence data. You go foursquare

Bye Foursquare!. This app used to be YEARS ago but it’s so lame and outdated now. Reviews are from years ago so you have no idea if the business is good today. I wish it was better but everyone seems to use Yelp for reviews. Final straw is I haven’t even used this app in months but it was running in my background for over 10 hours today, delete! It’s been fun foursquare!

Great app for learning whats around you. This app helped when i was looking for places to go while in Japan. This app now helps me find places in my home town too. Great app needs more traffic.

Powerful App 💪👍. Using the power of the community, Foursquare shows you all the hottest places you need to go to if you're planning your holiday or your looking for lunch, this place has you covered!

Concerned about your future. I have been a LONG time user and advocate of Foursquare. But one of the biggest problems of late is driving across town only to find the business has closed! I really hope you could dedicate more resources to upkeep of your local directories even though I understand it’s a difficult task.

Best and most needed than many other apps out there. This app is much needed to know about places. Such a fun guide. But you guys really need to work on the user experience. You have info but the way that is being presented is dull

I'm Done With Foursquare. I don't need another Yelp or Urban Spoon. I didn't use them either. I'm not interested in Swarm either. I can just check in using Facebook. You've ruined a once great app. Four Square used to be my favorite app. When they dumped checking in and created Swarm that was the end of Foursquare for me. I think I tried Swarm for a couple days and deleted it. Whoever decided to screw up Foursquare was far from genius.

Really frustrating. I wish I could add places that I have visited. Especially when Foursquare can't find them - which is all the time!!! Also, I was in two places within a block of themselves but I was only allowed one entry. This really should be updated. It's not fully functional or helpful. STILL NOT FIXED!!! I wrote this review months ago and still can’t enter places I have been but Foursquare can’t find. Ridiculous!

Foursquare makes it easy. With the ease of finding things, seeing what other people rate it and what is recommended Foursquare makes searching faster.

Sign in With Apple. Tried to start using this app as an alternative to Yelp, mainly because I see it allows for Sign In with Apple and I’m trying to be more privacy focused. However when creating an account on this app using Sign In with Apple, I am still prompted to create an account within the app. Requiring all of my information. This defeats the purpose of Sign In with Apple. Please fix Foursquare.
