Design Overhaul Increased Utility. The new “one click” button for authentication requests has made this app dramatically more useful. Thank you thank you thank you from someone who uses a streaming service for gaming and has to log in very frequently.

Not thrilled with the app. Obviously the App works as intended, to authenticate your account. With that said, it does get a little annoying when you have to authenticate your account a dozen times in a row on the same evening, for the same computer you’ve been playing on for months. It’s like... what the hey man??? Why???? It’s aggravating to say the least

Updated Authenticator. The app is pretty good. It responds quickly. However, now it says there’s a new/updated app, but no link or doesn’t take me there. It’s like Blizzard just assumes I know exactly where to go. Not user friendly in my opinion.

Great product!. I use this app everyday and receive no issues. No matter where I go to play blizzard games I'm never locked out of my account and the app has made keeping your account 10 times as safe. I hope there are more cool features to come with this app later down the road and thank you blizzard for a great product.

Amazing app from an amazing company! But.... The program rocks! It has great features that is needed to progress, some what. When you cannot login, due to many issues. I can't give this five stars. Because the mission % on your followers are way off. There's no need to have such a low follower doing a mission, when you know your follower setup is godly! So get to fixing it gnome and goblin engineers at blizzard headquarters! If ya don't, the Tauren gnome punting league will come out of retirement and start the season. Terrible. Today I had a security alert email from blizzard. So I took the necessary precautions and changed my account passwords and my email account password. I downloaded this app to enable extra security and it will not accept my password I just created. I have signed into it from 3 different browsers to make sure I am using the right password yet this dumb app still tells me I’m entering it wrong. I guess it’s slow to update to recent events. Thumbs down from me. Google Authenticator is much better and hassle free

Authenticator. What I like best is , if there any issue with your account Authenticator will solve the issue. Just one click away to prove that the account is mine. No one else will get that notification without it being connected to that app. Best way to know that it’s you and your account. Safety is a big issue in the game thank you blizzard wonderful app. 5 stars all day .

The app works, but.... The app works as intended. However, every month or so, Blizzard has issues with their authentication servers for World of Warcraft. Players with an authenticator attached to their accounts are unable to login to either the Legion mobile app and/or their main World of Warcraft account. I do not know if this has affected Overwatch, Destiny 2, or Blizzard's other games. The issue is usually resolved within 12 hours, but it is frustrating to wait. This app will prevent someone else from logging onto your account. It will not protect you from being unable to log on to your own account if Blizzard has internal authentication issues (again). The benefits outweigh the risks. Just be aware this app will occasionally backfire and prevent you from playing.

Great App. Anybody who owns a blizzard account should get this app. If your account is really good somebody could attempt to get into your account. But with this it keeps your account safe with just a push of a button. Not only that, but if you play WOW you get a free pet!

Couldn't even use the app. If you don't have access to the email associated with your Blizzard account, don't bother downloading because you won't be able to use it. Normally, Blizzard gives me the option to use email OR phone number (text) for 2-step verification; in this app it's EMAIL ONLY which doesn't work for me because again, I have no access to that old email address and they won't let you change it. Very frustrating.

Works great. Use this for all my Blizzard games. One suggestion would be to have the app remember whether you were on one-button or manual mode. I have to manually log into Overwatch due to a graphics driver issue and the Authenticator app always resets to one-button when I haven’t launched it in a while.

App won’t let you verify. When you go to Blizzard’s support site to request your data, they have disabled both SMS and this authenticator app as options to verify your identity. When you click their link to auth, it just says “denied” and “you are trying this too many times” (on your first try. They force you to send a picture of your government-issued photo ID instead. Why even offer the authentication option if it’s not “secure enough”? Anyways liberate Hong Kong, the revolution of our time.

Bravo. Blizzard, you outdone yourself. Recently I’ve got a new device and with that I’ve got a lot of issues with you. How hard can it be to log into my account without authentication you can ask, if you do it from your PC it will ask you to use this app, then you log in into your app and successfully fail to restore authentication from cloud chain. If you try to remove the authenticator from their web page it will ask you to use AUTHENTICATOR. Congratulations to most hated company on earth

It Works. I will admit, there are times where is is a little slow to receive authorization requests and send them. But in the end, it works. It does the job that it was created to do and doesn't have a bunch of bells, whistles, and adds to slow it down. It's efficient and I wouldn't expect anything less from blizzard.

Wonderful!!. Love overwatch, so when it said my account was shut down, a Blizzard rep (one of the best customer service companies for games by the way) told me to get this app to protect my account in the future. No problems since and it's easy to use. Thank you for offering a way to secure an account further. - Another loyal fan

It’s just repeatedly broken for me.. I’ve set this up multiple times now and each time it works for a week or two then breaks and locks me out of my account. Takes a day or more to get Blizzard to fix it each time. Sometimes they close the ticket before fixing it. It’s just a horrible pain to use. I had this some 13-14 years ago and it worked better back then.

Great, have a suggestion though. This app works great as an authenticator however I feel it would be very nice to have messaging between friends within this application as well. Steam has this implemented in their application and it is very useful for when you are on the go. Other than that suggestion which I feel should already be in the app and I am surprised it's not, this app functions perfectly.

One suggestion. I really like this app as it’s very useful for keeping your account safe. However when you do try to log in, the message displayed on your computer has the green button on the left. In the app it’s in the right. I don’t know how many times I’ve pressed the wrong one. Please make this consistent with the greens either both on the left or both on the right.

Easy, simple way to protect you BNet account, with no BS.. Heres the deal: if you BNet account is valuable to you, and theres a chance someone could get into you account, you can use this super simple app that, believ it or not, is even simpler than Steam mobile auth. Even though a BNet account is nowhere bear as valuable as most Steam accounts, this app is still a nice precaution to have, and is easy to use and set up.

A must!. I’ve had this one my account for quite some time and usually viewed it as a pain. That is until I was just sitting on the couch and got a notification that there was a request to sign in to my account from Thailand. I easily opened the app and denied the request. I then jumped on my computer and changed my password! Thanks, Blizzard!

Great! Works! Most of the time.... I have been using this specific app only for authenticating(obviously) but when ever I am in an area with little to no internet connection he app doesn't connect, when every other app works. NOTE, this almost never happens. But I tend to go on many trips and I constantly have to re-log in so I can play hearthstone and going in and out of internet with plane trips. Hah you just read my entire review, thanks.

Reliable and simple. I like that the key you need to enter changes every 10-15 seconds. I’ve never had an issue with fraud but I know my cousin grabbed my password once and still can’t get in since he can never get the authentication number

Fix your broken system and have some customer service. Forcing everyone to link their phone number real genius if it actually worked. I have done everything listed from support still don't work. Because simply cant add my phone number so i can play my wife no issue. Literally have the same phone service. How about you actually have someone answer the tickets.

Someone is not thinking. This app is discontinued but trying to log into my account and it wont let me in unless i press the accept buttom from this app. You are reaching an all new low blizzard! Come on im sure someone has atleast has half a brain up there to fix his stupid problem!! Another problem blizzard has created with this foolishness is i have 5 diablo 2 res accounts an i can only use my 1 cell number for one account on the new battle net app. Yall are such morons!!!

Keeps my account safe!. Works smooth, only time it’s a pain is if I’m trying to restart wow client and I just happen to not have phone nearby. Easy enough though to use and really adds that extra layer of protection for your coveted WoW account.

needs push notification update. App is almost perfect, went to use it today and it said to turn on push notifications so I can be updated. If I press the button to take me to settings it has no settings inside iOS notifications section to enable it.

Would use it but…. Their policy to not accept pre-paid phone numbers is ignorant at best. One of those things, I’m not changing my entire phone plan for one thing and one thing alone. My phone number, that I’ve had for over 7 years, has never been a problem on literally any service whatsoever, using it on everything from game accounts, to IRS filings… Activision-Blizzard is seemingly the only service I’ve come across during this time that maintains this policy. If you have a service like Metro, or some other pre-paid phone provider, don’t bother downloading this.

Already happy I downloaded this. I decided to download it as an extra precaution a few days ago, and it’s already served its purpose on more than one occasion. Easy to use, and you don’t have to worry about unauthorized people on your account.

Fix this, or stop requiring it to change title in group finder.. EVERYTIME I try to login to battlement from a browser, before I can accept the login request, it backs me out to the username/password input page over and over again. I’ve spoke to multiple people who have the same issue. Please fix it. Or don’t force us to use it in order to edit group names in group finder. Very disappointed in you blizzard. You guys needed to fix this ages ago.

Love it!. So far a great app. Haven't had a hack issue at all. Been a WoW player since 2006. So I remember being hacked multiple times before and having to go through the process of only getting partial of your gold back.

Best App. Don't want to lose your blizzard account? This is the best tool to prevent hackers from getting in your accounts. Even if hackers tried to get it you would be notified that people are requesting access to your account and you can take measures to prevent that same hacker from getting in. Overall Great App.

I’m finally writing a review. Look, I’m going to be real blunt here. I have had this app on my phone for years. Y E A R S. And I always forget about it. Then when blizzard hits me with the two factor…. It’s always there… in my face… saying, I got you bruh. So you bet your sweet candy canes I wrote a review when asked. They deserve it.

Great but can be much greater. Sometimes u get the notifications sometimes u have to unlock ur phone and go open the app and accept the login. But I am just complaining cause I am spoiled brat and expect everything to work so fast 😂😂😂. Great Authenticator otherwise. Keeps everything safe and very intuitive to switch when u get new phone. 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻

Blizzard is a scam!. Do not get their Authenticator if you have to get it replaced they will absolutely scam you. My phone broke with Authenticator I’ve sent over 20 tickets in now, I’ve been charged 2 wow subscription for 4 months that I can’t cancel and my bank wants to charge me for to cancel, blizzard support just keeps sending me the same email saying they’ll fix it and for me to log in and guess what that REQUIRES MY AUTHENTICATOR, I’ve told them every ticket I can provide my ID or any information and they just keep sending the log in email. I am so sad I have been a customer of this company for over 2 decades and I will never play another one of their games. I am now having to drive to the city to close my bank altogether and get a new bank to resolve this issue. I will make my story known everywhere blizzard you seriously screwed up just to rip someone off a few months lol.

Does what it needs to do. Rarely need to use it but glad it's there. Quick and simple extra security measure just make sure to take a pic or write down the serial in case you lose your phone.

Been Keeping Me Safe Forever. I’ve had this on my account since the first day it was available. It’s worth it to have. I’ve had someone find my password somehow but it didn’t matter because even though they found my password they couldn’t get into my account because if the authentication app.

Great security tool - free necessity. Works 99.9% of the time for me, keeps my stuff safe. I was hacked long ago when frozen throne dropped. Got it to prove I valued my items and I’m sure blizzard appreciated it, because I appreciated them giving me my things back. The one thing I cannot stand however.. when you login to bnet the authentication picture of the iPhone and the finger has the buttons flip flopped. So if your looking at the picture and not your phone. You will decline your request. Not sure why this hasn’t been addressed wish I could upload a photo to easily explain as well but here we are. Petty complaint I know but it still baffles me. If this gets fix I’d be inclined to give a 5 star. Great idea bliz, even the innovation of a simple click instead of the tedious 8 digit number of earlier stages.

Blizzard. Blizzard tries hard to keep their servers safe from hackers. The best deal about this would be not to permit anyone from hacking your email by using a 22 character password. Which would mean that they would have to possibly try thousands of possible characters.

Helpful. I used to use one of the Key Fob authenticators, which was fine for what it was. But often times I would forget it at home or misplace it. This app is nice, because no-one ever hardly forgets their phone as they walk out the door. So now Ill be able to access all my favorite Blizzard titles no matter where I am! ^_^

Bring back the old keychain. It's a 2FA. It works. It can automatically send push requests. It can generate codes. It can sync. Just amazing. But it doesn't have that old keychain authenticator look and feel. The chosen one. The one that could sync with no internet

Best 2factor device I own. Blizzards mobile two factor authentication is great. Having to use multiple 2factor apps for other reasons I wish they all worked as well as Blizzards does. My hardware token still works as well, an original one back when it first came out. Thanks for the CoreHound puppy!

Solid. Simple and easy. I got some extra bag slots in retail WoW for using it. When Diablo 3 dropped, my character got hacked and stripped after many many grinding hours. I’ve had an Authenticator since and haven’t had any issues. Get it before someone hacks your account.

Long time user.. I have played since BC, and before the authenticator, even with careful browsing and smart online behavior, I was hacked quite a few times. While blizzard always faithfully and quickly restored my characters, it got annoying quickly. This helped so much, and I’m glad they made it.

Hmmm. The new app seems to be giving me issues when I try to LOG in on it… I have to go back to this old app for authenticating…. Sighhh there wasn’t anything wrong with this one and y’all changing things again… I can’t!

Does the job well, but missing a key feature. Obviously, the authenticator does what it needs to.. Authenticates. But after sooo many years, blizzard had not developed a mobile app for messaging friends on the battle net client??? This would be such an easy feature to add since this is already linked to your account, but yet it hasn't been done. Riot did it YEARS ago and it got an amazing response. Blizzard needs to step it up, this project should take no longer than a week.

Great app but wish it did some things different. I love the app for what it does, but like steams I wish it let you manage your account a little more. It would also be nice if it allowed Authentication codes to be shown directly on the phone as notifications like steams but that's me just being lazy and not wanting to open the app every time. Otherwise wonderful for security

App Works as Intended. Blizzard’s Authenticator app works as one would expect, but I wish you could configure your account to use other standard options for 2FA. This app was great when 2FA wasn’t commonplace, but now it would be nice for customers to use their choice of 2FA solution.

Have been using for years!!!. Have always felt good being able to login from around the world and being able to authenticate with ease. Blizzard also seems to like it knowing I am who I say I am and not some Russian hacker trying to take gold!

Authenticators have the potential to ruin your life. This one almost did! It was the first I ever used and as a result the one I benchmark all others against. I currently use several on a daily basis (2022) for work and none of them come close to the ease of use and genuine reliability I’ve had with Blizz

Absolute pain to remove this. In case you want to remove your Authenticator it is such a hard process. Wouldn’t recommend doing it in the first place

App Crashes Unable to send request. App has been working as it should when I try to access my accounts the app is unable to authenticate.

Get it now and stop looking at less than 4 stars. 5/5 now my wow account is 100% more secure. Excellent against keyloggers and prying eyes. Set up in less than 5 minutes! Best of all, it's free and definately worth any amount. It's the first actual blizzard app for the iPhone, so get it! What next? Wow on the iPhone ... I'd pay for that!

I was Hacked. I recently had my account hacked, with this application being placed on the account when I tried to login. BattleNet/Blizzard was very quick at registering and rectifying the problem. I see no problem with this app and will now make use of it myself to further protect my account.

Where the pet?????. According to the blizzard site you were suppose to get a free pet when you download this app and link it to your account well i still have not got this pet but other than that great app for extra security on your account

This is great security.. I love how this is incorporated into my devices, even as far as the watch. Just one tap and I'm usually in. If there was a suggestion to make it would be to create battle net communicator. Something you could chat to your battle net friends on.

Unable to login. After about 6 months of not having played WoW, (I made a concerted effort to disable my account) and that I had also cancelled my payment details with Blizzard. After seeing that I was still being charged on my credit card I tried logging into my account. I had to redownload the app onto my new iPhone 5. Was not able to login to Blizzard, was then unable to "remove" the authenticator, when logging in it always says "authenticator attached". Beware of this if you get a new device....

Customer support suks. Trying get rid my this app which is linked to my old phone number which I had more than 5 years ago. Had to submit a ticket on the website, which takes them FOREVER to reply. Gave up, sign up with a new email.

The worst implementation of a 2FA app. lts just slower and more complicated than competing Authenticators such as Steams, harder to use as well. Also has tendencies to just not work sometimes and break.

Absolutly worth it. I was speaking to a friend the other day who had recently been hacked to hear he had lost everything he'd worked for to be gone. So I instantly downloaded this app cause you always hear about people getting hacked but this was way to close to home. Now I will never go back it's so easy and simple to use. Best decision ever!

Effective but buggy. Simple and effective, but each time I use it, I get an error message and the app minimises into the background. Then I have to bring it up again and wait for the request to come through a second time. Only then can I approve the log on.

Dzul666 i thought the same thing 5 yrs and not a prob till yesterday, logged in and it asked me for an authenticator key, i dont use addons or go to any gold sites,never given out my User or pw to any one and have antivirus spybot ad-aware and malwarebytes running on my comp. Idk how they got it but they did, i will use this as it add another hastle for them, this time around i was lucky my acc wasnt stripped i may have got them in time. Now i dont have to wory as much each time i log in.

Does not work I says enable iCloud Keychain. This app is not allowing me to log in my battle net It was working fine weeks ago and now not anymore

One button only works for Authenticator. The one button access is never an option logging into my games, it’s only ever worked with website stuff and Authenticator.

Authenticator does no denial response mean denial?. I’ve just put my blizzard account on much much larger bit encryption but before that I had a few Asian letters (literally the Asian “alphabet” don’t know which nation) try to log in while I was asleep, they got to the point where my authenticator was asking me for it, but I ignored them instead of declining is that bad? I assumed not authenticating was the same as deny, but when I looked to deny there was nothing to deny. Auto deny after x time? Either way, I’ve got email and authenticator and only when *I* changed passwords did I get an email. Hope to see a reply and also hope and assume this is the right path for security!

Trash app. No notification at all even when I try to log in there’s nothing show up on my phone, and the code is too long not enough time.

Works great, for the most part. Sometimes there is no notification on my phone when using the One touch button feature, even though my notifications are turned on.

Authenticator. Given the amount of money for the service, I really wish that blizzard/battle.net simply had chat customer service or phone help. I simple chat could have saved over a month of trying to resolve my issue’s and I still can’t login.Totally frustrating!

Lost account. About two years ago I lost my battlenet account, whatever I try to recover it, it asks me for a serial number of an old pc, which I never had, I changed country so now I’m blocked.

isssues with just connecting with your account.. put in the basic account info as the first step and the app just stuttered and did not progress to the next step. this definitely will not save anyone's account if you cannot even get to the second step.

Have to enter code manually everytime. The app icon is a lock logo and the name of the app is "Authenticator". It could be anything for any service. Blizzard, brand your logo or name your app with a defining name and not something so generic. I know this is a harsh review because of something many would consider insignificant but i see this as a major design flaw. If all companies would use logos and names so generic for their apps we wouldnt recognize anything on our phones. Please review your app icon/name identity.

Roll into Battle.net app. The fact that this is a standalone app and not just rolled into the Bnet app in 2019 is a joke.

Don’t install. Worst app ever made. Almost daily issues logging on since you need to provide access through the app when you login. Would rate less than 1 star if I could.

Works as advertised. Have had very few issues with this Authenticator, and what issues I had were related to Wi-Fi/router issues and not the app itself. I like it.

Difficult sometimes. Trying to log into account in Chrome, doesn’t wait long enough for cellphone Authenticator to transmit approval.

Keeps you safe. Twice I have managed to stop Chinese hackers getting into my blizzard account. I just hit deny and they are stumped. 👍🏻

Supports Human Rights Abuses. The company responsible for the development of this app has chosen to support authoritarian governments over its ethical responsibility in supporting freedom of expression. I am in the process of deleting all blizzard merchandise and software in my possession. Your support of blatant human right abuses to maintain access to Chinese markets is appalling and alarming.

Trash. Trash app barely works really wish i didn't need to use it.

Authentication. Worst piece of crap ever ! Each time I need to use the authentication when I launch the app it tells me that I need to login to Battle.net and then the app asks me for a code lol . I have to use the manual feature to get in and play my latency ridden game ! So much fun!

Battle net. Once chat is brought in and it’s cleaned up a bit making it less glitchy this will be awesome

Review. When the app works it works great. At times I have to use an sms code to use sometimes for days before it starts to work again

Hasn’t worked very well. The extra bag space is nice, but the Authenticator might have worked once in about 20 tries over a couple weeks. It always ask for the code now and won’t let me log in, but the app just says no login request or error

100% worth setting up. I’ve heard ppl would hack activison accounts and it happend once to me and when I set this up I felt safe and it’s very easy to setup and very very safe

A good app if you want to lose hours of your life. So I had gotten a new phone number and it was fine until my launcher decided to randomly log me out. I can’t get back in no matter what I do. The phone number doesn’t work. The customer support is absolutely horrendous. I shouldn’t have to waste this much time. I pay for my games to play them people.

One click authentication. Doesn't get much easier than this, never had a problem with the app.

Feels “safe”. I feel like this updated version of the Authenticator is really easy and provides a peace of mind that my account is safe.

I’ll tell you what. It’s perfect I have people trying to log in to my account often, not sure why. But it’s ok considering I have it so when I login somewhere new I use this and my phone. It’s a necessity.

Can’t get push notifications. Can't get push notifications on iOS 12. Doesn’t even show an option under settings under notifications.

A must have. The app works better then any other key for games of the same type, the one touch system makes it easy and Secure and it's simple to set up and use.

Very helpful for contacting friends and looking on the market. I find this really helpful every time I want to check what's on the market I usually go onto my laptop and now I can use this to free some time

It works.... I have had no problem with this added security, but it has so much potential. When comparing to the Steam Authenticator it functions better but Steam mobile app is functional at social and personal achievement interactions and availability. At least make an Overwatch app k daddy Jeff?

It’s all good. No issues for me plus I don’t even use it that often but when I do everything works perfectly very easy and simple to use!

One-Button doesn't work. On the One-Button screen it says I have no requests. Other than that, it works as well as the versions without that feature.

Completely worthless for authenticating apps in the same device.. I’m not sure what is wrong, but everyone I try to authenticate the wow Legion companion or hearthstone, I will approve the request and go back to the app, which wants me to log in again. Maybe it’s the OS, maybe it’s me. All I know is it is extremely frustrating to. It be able to get into my Blizzard apps. Please fix this so I can get into my apps!

Authenticator. I have used it for years, never had any issues. I will always use the app.

Good, but not fully utilized. Like everything made by Bliz, this is pretty, never has major issues, and doesn't cause problems. I just wished they made the 1 touch authentication available for all their games, it's much more convenient

Does it’s job, could be improved. It seems I have to open the Authenticator app myself to approve a login. How about also Sending push notifications that can be long-pressed to show approve/deny options? Duo app does this, so does Facebook’s MFA push notifications.

Better than google. I play both games from Ubisoft and the fact that that the Authenticator has iCloud sync is super nice when changing devices

Two Factor Authentication with peace of mind. Highly recommended for account security. Don't have to worry about changing my password with the additional layer of security from the Authenticator.

Works Great. Got the authenticator after I had issues with account security early on when playing WoW because someone hacked my account. I have not had issues since.

Phone number. I’m trying to add a phone number and it refuses to let me add one it keeps on saying that an error occurred and I don’t know why, my phone number has never had a problem like this before!

Keeps me safe. I occasionally get requests from China and the only thing stopping them is this Authenticator. I think back to the old days before these existed and I’m so thankful.

Seems a natural for Watch support. Very nice upgrade from the older version I last used a few years ago. But doesn’t the one-button authentication seem like a natural fit for the Watch? Sorry to see it’s not an option.

Works OK Except.... It's always asking me to authenticate manually. For some reason it seems to have lost his ability to authenticate automatically. I don't know if I lost connection somewhere but it has zero help on how to restore that function anyway.

Great app!. Blizzard has nailed the impregnation of a 2FA system. The one touch is a great feature. Unfortunately it is hard to add the authenticator to a third-party authenticator like Authy. I'd like having one app for all of my accounts.

Works as intended. As long as I don’t leave my phone on the charger in the other room. The old one that I use for my other account was the first issue, handier, smaller, and always kept in my middle desk drawer!

Works as intended 100% of the time. Easy to set up and use. And just as easy to switch to a new phone when you upgrade or switch carriers.

Baffling poor UX. App and overall experience works almost incomprehensibly poorly. It's like one of those joke apps people make on reddit. It doesn't work properly on ios with the native keyboard, for example. The keyboard disappears after every single keystroke. And that's honestly just the beginning.

Great app!!!. The only issue I’ve ever had was when I was switching phones, but that error may have been on my end so I gave 5 stars.

I finally did it and it’s fine. Blizzard finally convinced me to activate it for my 4 extra bag slots on WoW Classic. I always thought it would be a pain but it’s not. It’s one tap when you log in and that’s it

One touch not working. Recently the one touch stopped working. I believe it stopped working around the last maintenance time. Manual entry is still working for me, the issue is just with one touch.

Perfect addition.... Who wouldn’t want the added protection for your account?? I was hacked about 10 years ago and was devastated at the loss. But now it’s near impossible to do that with tools like this.

Unuseable at the moment 2.3.0. I hear this app works great, once set up... the problem is I and many others can't connect the app to our battlenet accounts at the moment... we either get errors or nothing happens when we try to login... I'm NOT seeking a 2.2.2 mirror to get around this... knowing my luck I'd lock myself out with an authenticator I can't access consistently...

Stable and reliable. This app never crashes… I wish there were more functions and features in it but it does the trick.
