Works Great so far...👍🏼. I took Spanish in High School many years ago and as the old saying goes, if you don't use it, you lose it. The pace it was taught was also fast and I've always retained SOME Spanish. I've always wanted to be affluent in different languages and its a big help if you want to send discreet texts/messages or plan to travel overseas.

I am now bilingual without even being bilingual. This is such a wonderful app I love it it translate perfectly and you can send text messages to people with the translation and these people will say wow this person really speaks good but really what it is that I speak English and I’m translating into Spanish in Spanish people don’t speak English therefore we can get along very well this is such a great app two thumbs Up

Convenient. If you speak the foreign-language a little it is very convenient because the words are recognized in there put in the right order. Even if you don’t speak the language the phonetics are good enough that you can get by with what you need. Great tool.

Dependable. When I am traveling foreign countries. My language skills are not the best, I try but sometimes I just can't figure it out. So the use of this app has been so helpful , when in doubt I use this app and I have had no problems

Accuracy. I am a fluent, albeit rusty, French speaker that learned to speak French through the JFK Special Warfare Center and School on Ft. Bragg, NC. Because of my "language rating" (3,3+), I can definitely read and understand spoken French better than I can speak it. Therefore, I'll have to use the app when I've forgotten some vocabulary. The app has been accurate 98% of the time and is close enough even when not completely accurate (the app DOES have some problems with slang). Overall it's a great tool to use!!

Montana Ranching/ Traveling Couple.. This is absolutely the best language app we have ever used!! And we do travel abroad quite often! Since the both of us retired from life long careers in upper management in the oil/gas industry and been so very blessed to have oil/natural gas wells on my husbands inherited 2,688 acres, we are financially able to travel abroad as much as we like. Stay gone as long as we like. In fact we are leaving again in 2 weeks. Be gone 3 months and the app will get another work out!!!

So easy to use!!!!. This has been a lifesaver in public. I have Vietnamese and Filipino neighbors now, here in SC, USA. I learned Spanish in high school and college but it was formal, instructors from several Latino countries. So my word usage can get me “the stare”. I use this in short phrases for instant communication. I hand my iPhone back and forth. My suggestion here is because at times I get a funny look. If I translate back into English I’ve discovered my word usage can really be OFF. I can change a couple words, translate back and forth and we both can understand each other. For a legal email in MX I thought I was doing so well until I got my unchecked letter back with ??? in places. Now I write a paragraph, short sentences, translate into Spanish then back into English to check. About 90% it’s perfect but occasionally I need to change a couple words. I’ve been using this app at least 7 years, I’ve tried others, this is the easiest and best even compared to expensive apps. My friends all have this app also. Thank you for this app.

Bait and switch. Might be a good app, but I wouldn't know because it does not include the two languages that I needed. Both of these languages are included in the app description: Tajik and Uzbek. However they are not included in the list of languages once I downloaded the app. At the bottom of the long list of languages is an option that says "my language is not listed." Click on that and, of course, it takes you to where you can pay money to get more languages. Supposedly, the languages I am looking for maybe included in the program. But who knows? Since the description of the free version is not accurate, how would I know what I'm getting if I pay for the "pro" version? No thanks.

I wish there was a way to stop the ads. This is a very useful app. It does a good enough job that I am able to use it to communicate with a friend in Guatemala. Most likely we probably wouldn’t talk very much without it. The problem is that every time I want to translate something I have to watch an ad first. If there was a way to pay for the app and turn off the ads, I would be thrilled.

Outstanding app. I'm going to be honest I've worked in kitchens most my life and it's getting to The point where I need to learn Spanish I only wish I could afford to upgrade because this is a outstanding app maybe sometime in the future but for now I am very satisfied and it is helping me at work greatly

Love this app. This app is awesome! I’m a physical therapist in a skilled nursing facility and this will come in handy with my Spanish speaking patients ! Language can be a barrier to my treatments so this will be beneficial ! It works very quickly to translate full sentences and I like that you can change to a variety of different languages

Easy to use. I appreciate this free app. Although the ads are annoying, they are a few seconds and a tolerable exchange for a wide variety of translations at your fingertips. I’m especially impressed that in choosing English to French translation, several different varieties of French are provided.

Great app & very fast translations. I love this app!! I play GOT with several French players that could never understand our chat. I didn’t think that was fair. So I found this app that allows me to chat with them & also translate what other players are saying. So I’ve made new friends in France but never left the USA. Highly recommend this app. And I love that it’s so fast too.

Very helpful. I just got this app and it has been so useful. We are hosting an exchange student from Spain. I only know the absolute basics and nothing else. It has been very helpful to me while communicating online with her mother in Spain! I can easily translate what she says into English, and then type my reply and have it translate into Spanish! Wow I love it!. So useful for online gaming! When I play a game and someone is Spanish I can just translate what they say. So useful! With out it, when someone says ¿Como esta? I would have no idea to say good or bad in Spanish of course. Questionable. In translating from French - English there is an issue. The dictionary can’t distinguish the difference from où to ou. One meaning where the other meaning or. That’s a problem. I’m concerned about this because you think something is correct and it isn’t. There is know way to determine how many more of these i will run into until I run into them. How frustrating. I would ask for a refund but I’m unlikely to receive one. Unsatisfied purchaser.

Question & review. I love the myLanguage app! I’m learning Tagalog & it’s been great! I’m looking in to purchasing the pro version but, I have a question, does it support offline usage? I’ll probably purchase it either way but, I’d like to at least know beforehand.

My Language. I could not manage my crazy life without it. I have friends of all nationalities and it works pretty good. In Spanish it’s a little different with so many words that hav different meanings but all in all this is the best. I wish I could type a longer letter. It takes me a lot of words to get my point across.

Why I’m not sure if it’s good enough or not. I’m not gonna have to pay for another feature on the App Store that is ridiculous why would somebody pay for that what is it gonna cost like 500,000 shekels I’m not gonna pay for it nobody’s gonna pay for it unless they’re crazy Russian don’t know what to do with her cat

Translator wheel won’t stop. I really like this app but one thing that’s really irritating is the little translator wheel doesn’t stop when it can’t translate a word. I have done this several times. Entered a word I want translated, for whatever reason the app can’t translate it. The “translating” banner” lets you know it’s working and the little wheel is turning away but it doesn’t stop. I tried to translate something 2 hours ago. The little banner still says it’s translating and there’s no way to get it to stop. The only way I’ve been able to is double click my home button and get rid of all the sites I’ve left open.

Translate button and clear button. Please locate translate button down between the languages instead of top right. Also add a clear button to start a new translation. Or to correct input info.

Good app, but ads are really overkill. I love this app. The translations seem accurate, it doesn’t take too long to translate it, but I have one issue. The ads, there’s so many! After 2 times of using it, you get an ad. Heck, sometimes just one time! Sure, I get that you need the ads for paid promotions to other apps but you could still cut it down a bit. The ads are just a waste of time to me. Sure, maybe an ad every 4-7 times you used the app, but every other time?! That’s a plain annoyance to me!

Help. Hi my name is Thomas Cornish and down loaded your app. Then I paid an extra $9.99 To have it repeat the sentence or word out loud. When I went to use the app again it wouldn’t stay in, it would go out. I tried again and again until I just deleted it and downloaded it again but now it’s not reading it out loud anymore it’s trying to make me pay another $9.99 for that feature. How can I get that feature back???

Don’t get this app.. Tried to charge me every time I entered the app. Not a good app, and definitely not useful. You don’t even know how to pronounce the word because, guess what, you have to pay for that feature. Almost every single feature you have to pay for. I would have liked this app s lot more if they had just incorporated ads into it to make all the features free and they would still earn s profit from ads. What a shame.

Five star app. I’m really impressed with the accuracy of this app. I know that because I speak French fluently. I performed a couple of tests to see whether or not it’s legitimate translator; I came to the realization that its accuracy, combined with the speed at which it performs the translations are second to none. Highly Recommended. I was in Jamaica and the staff didn’t know what a hotel guest needed. There were many guest like this so I showed them and let them use the app on my my phone and they loved it. I hope they download and use it for future guests

Easy. Easy to use, accurate as far as I can tell. Completely free, although, ads do pop up that are slightly hard to get around. Must have internet to use. I recommend highly.

Idk but I know it translates a lot in German correctly. I don’t know much about Russian but I have been trying to learn that and German. So far, everything looks perfect. I’d recommend it to someone but I’m not an expert on German or the Russian language because I’m an English native speaker. 🙂

Better than six semesters of Spanish in College.. I've always wanted to be able to speak Spanish, especially since moving to Houston 17 years ago. I had six semesters of Spanish in College and had some grasp of nones, verbs and putting simple sentences together but now I'm really picking the language up and able to understand so much more by using this app. Better than Rosetta Stone! Translation. A very dear friend of mine was just in a very serious accident and is coma. I tried to reach her but couldn’t. A friend of hers got her phone and saw my messages but can only speak Portuguese. With the help of this app I am able to keep updated on her condition

Translates accurate but it could improve on the need for flipping words for other languages. It translates English words to the Spanish words accurately enough but the program could use more development in getting it to rearrange or flip the words from the order in which they are spoken in English to the more correct way to actually say those words with they same meaning in Spanish which can only be achieved by knowing that the order of the words have to be changed.

Awesome.. Through the years I have made many friends that speak different languages I have some that speak Spanish, some friends are from the Dominican, other friends are from El Salvador. Although I have learned to speak some Spanish etc. through the years, this app makes it so much easier. Some of my friends have left and gone home and we keep in touch. If you have any of the similar situations I highly recommend it. It is very easy to use and extremely accurate. Secondly my friends also use the app to translate their language to English.

Thankful for the app. A couple years ago I was able to connect with family in Europe that I knew I had but the language barrier prevented me from even trying to find them. While it’s not perfect, we are able to get the main idea of what we are trying to say to each other. I have some questions for the developers and have attempted to contact them twice without success. I wanted to know if the $9.99 is a one time fee.

Ummm........ Ok so when got this app I was looking for something that will read to me what they are saying. This way it well help me know what language they speak because it is hard identifying where are they from. And say you are in a rush you would have to read what they said very quickly and it is very easy just to hear what they are saying! Although this app has no glitches I still don’t recommend it

Sprint car pusher. Soo easy to use. And fast. Just type in a word or phrase and it's quickly AND accurately translated! Use it when texting friends. Have a fellow game player in Finland. Now I can send her notes in Finish.

Diversity & Accuracy. This is the only app besides Google Translate that features Haitian Creole. Haitian Creole is the most widely spoken Creole in the world. It is spoken by 10.6 million people and Haitian migrants living in the U.S., Canada, France, and Caribbean countries. I am learning Haitian Creole as a minister to expose Haitian Creole speaking peoples to God’s Word in their own language. While Google Translate is a good translation tool, some idioms are not detected but this app picks up more of them.

Really excellent app. I really love this app. I needed a translator desperately I was alone and no one I called answered their phones. I searched for an app to help me. I am so grateful that to no longer have to get help from friends. We are able to communicate with each other. As employer to employee.

Getting Assistance with Translation. The First time that I have used this free app was an awesome experience. I was able to communicate with a spanish speaking tile Business owner fluently in spanish with the help of my language translator app. I had scheduled a tile appointment with him, he was able to put down new tile app completed the job . This app has allowed me to be able to communicate with the owner anytime I need work done . Add it to your phone. It’s free. It’s accurate. It’s efficient. If you don’t mind typing for a second it beats waiting for a dictionary page turn or a friend. Albeit I love my books. And you can practice common used phrases in one click.

App review. I’ve only been using the My Language app for Spanish for less than an hour but so far I like it. It’s easy to use and quick in translating. I’ve mostly been translating from English to Spanish and once from Spanish to English and it looks like it’s going to be a very handy tool for me to use daily. Thai in Thai characters not English. When trying to translate English to Thai, it gives the Thai characters which I cannot decipher, should be the Anglo version of Thai so English people can read it and pronounce it, thanks for a good app

Good.... If I wanted to translate and give my iPhone to the person I'm talking to this would be good because they could just read straight off the screen but I don't want to give them my iPhone I just wan ro read it straight out to them. I'm trying to learn Hindi (India) and I can't yet read their characters so perhapse in your next update you could have the option for your translAtion to come up in English characters? That would be very helpful and maybe some guides on sentance structure also would be helpful. Connecting with a friend. I love this app i have an old friend who only speaks german. My grammar is mot so good so I use this app to write my emails in English then translate it to German, ith copy and paste into an e mail. Works perfectly.

English/Spanish. Only processes one line a a time and doesn't point out any differences in usage, but, quite quick for an online app and the history feature means it gets my vote. Good app.

Maltese. This app has helped me in so many ways to write letters to my relatives in Malta . By practicing I’ve learnt to read and write in Maltese too it made it very easy for me to communicate with my relatives that can’t write in English to still communicate with them . By writing letters to them in Maltese My language is a great app to have . Try it for your selves. You just never know that you will be able to read and write in your own language . Especially if you weren’t born there.

Get rid of the robotic voice. The app is good, just replace the robotic voice with a human one, remove the voice speed and replace it with a normal voice of equal pitch, tone and volume which will assist others in learning

Needs updates. It is a direct translation and my family speaks Afrikaans (o-fri-kans) and say I typed in how are you it would say hoe is jy which is completely wrong and the correct translation is hoe gaan dot ^_^ (who-ccan-did) It also needs Fijian, tongan, mauri ( new Zealand ) and Samoan it also needs to use the English alphabet not characters from the language because people won't be able to read it The updates i suggested have to be made

Very good.. Use it on FB to friends in Indonesia. They seem to know what I am saying and respond in English appropriately, therefore the app must be doing its job. Tried to translate to a Russian friend, the app didn't like my punctuation, so I refined my text and sent. The Russian response was that the other person could understand, however it appears some of the words did not translate according to my English text. But, I'm not complaining, I like this app. I wouldn't use this app if I was representing Australia at the UN Security meeting, but that's not going to happen, so the thumbs up from me. So far so good. I’ve only translated a few phrases thus far, and because I can’t read what I’m translating until translated, I can only say everything makes perfect sense.

Free but ..... Seems to work well, but so many ads. If you’re using it to learn vocabulary for a language, you have to watch part of an add after EVERY translation. Watching and ad every few minutes would be tolerable, but not with every translation.

Copy and paste. Translations are good, have yet to figure out how to get the translations in a message. Everything I tried is not working, can’t transfer to Facebook or messenger

Unilingual no more. Downloaded. Immediate assistance. As physician i see different nationalities and need something quick and easy. I see spanish, korean, japanese, slovakian, peuro rican... i can ask related questions.

Best app ever!!!!. I have so many Hispanic friends in Los Angeles, California, that I communicate with, and they all come from different parts of the world so this app makes it so much easier speaking of their dialect👍

Glitch?. I’m trying to translate from English to Spanish (Colombia). I can’t seem to find a way for it return the Spanish phrase. I type in English “to sleep”, hit the back button and I don’t know where to go from here. It just says “to sleep” in English on the top and the lower section is blank. Help please. I discovered my issue. There is an ambiguous icon in the top right. If I select it, it will translate the phrase.

Transliteration. English to say Persian is wonderful, but I can’t read the Persian alphabet. Maybe a phonetic transliteration into the source language would be helpful. Is this available in the Pro version?

Good app. This app has been very helpful. There are time when I find myself with an unfamiliar word and this app helps. Like all apps it's got it's good and bad but overall I really like this app. It's very useful and fairly precise.

Ease of use. I do love how it is so easy to pick your language translate it to another, visualize the what you’re saying and how to translate it all on one screen!

Effective and dependable. I have been using this app for years. It’s very simple to use and a very handy tool to have available specially for academia. Highly recommend it.

Need to fix some bugs. Great app for me brush up on my Spanish words but when I look up certain words, the app doesn’t seem to know them. For example, dicer, is “to tell”. The app can’t translate that. Very strange. Need to fix this. It’s an important very to know in Spanish.

French travel. I’m heading to France this summer and hope this helps me when I can’t use English to communicate.

Amazing. This app is amazing because my first language was English but now this has helped me speak Spanish to the other side of my family especially when we went to Puerto Rico

Translator. It’s all very good I can know how to write a language when I need help spelling, but the sounding won’t work I tried everything I could think of. And still no sound this app may have been a mistake and a waste of time to get it. And it’s ok for you to disagree because it’s your opinion same with me saying anything about this app. So if you have a problem with me speaking my mind FIGHT ME!!! ( maybe not the people who made this app)

Regrets. Enjoying the ability to expand my knowledge. Wished I would have paid attention in high school Spanish. I also wish I would have encouraged my grandmother to teach me the entire German language rather than just the occasional swear words.

Word Limitation?. I have tried the free version and like it very much. I tried translating a text message to a friend but it only translated about half. Is there a limitation on the amount of words that can be translated both in the free and Pro version?

More please. I really like the amount of languages that this app provides however I would prefer a few more languages be included mostly the ones being close to extinction.

Was 5 Stars. Stopped working. I will change it back to 5 if you guys can fix it. Worked like a charm before. Doesn’t work anymore. Just spinning wheel whatever I tried to do. Same on the another phones. No matter what system is on the phone. Please fix it. Is it a way to push me to buy the premium version???

Only one downfall. Wish it could be used on text messaging but a good app other then that if I’m wrong please tell me how to use it with texting instead of copy and paste

Review. The translation is on spot and the word are on point . With so many words to pick from that are similar choosing the one that fit the sentence is amazing . I have used other apps but this is the best.

Great translator. Only using for short questions but allows me to converse when working with someone who is not fluent in English. Has been a real savor at times!

Top Translator. This is the finest foreign language Translator I know. It picks up the poetry of language, nuances of thought, ideas. Outstanding compared to soulless, machine-like, often incomprehensible Google Translator. Use it for difficult languages like Korean and Arabic. Great work.

Translating. I like it but it could be a little better if it allows you to convert Spanish text someone sends you in messages into English so you could read it.

Terrific refresher!. Was a little rusty but this solved my problem. So many variations of Spanish but this helps narrow it down to the version that you're looking for.
