Totally fun music app!. This is great fun, and the trombone sounds swell. The play along song feature is super fun, and I love that you can download more music. This is the first app that was so cool I felt compelled to write a review for it!

Nice!. This app is awesome! I play the trombone and I can use it to actually practice and help myself. But what It needs a software that can use songs from your music app and play those! Try it!

Couldn't be better on iPod touch. I play trombone in real life, and I think this is amazing It is the  I taught myself a bunch of songs through trail and error, and I know the song new soul by watching the video If you play trombone, buy this app It is perfect to tinker around on and fun to try sheet music. The only thing I would add is instead of a blow feature, have it if you tilt the device, then it will be louder or softer, and have this feature able to be turned on and off. Then it would be amazing Another idea is to create a bar in the settings and that will coordinate the volume. PLEASE CONSIDER MY IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR APP THE BEST IT COULD BE     

I love this. I'd love this even if I never played trombone. Kind of makes me want to dust off the old one in the garage, because now I know more ... And the tone is quite nice, especially over speakers. my four year old has learned Star Wars and twinkle twinkle on it. just great!

iBone - the Pocket Trombone. This is an amazing app! That you could have all of the partials in all of the positions is awesome! It would be great, however, to be able to see where the notes are a little better, or have the option of making them brighter. Other than that... great job!

Buy it. Really fun man. And you can download more music from the store, or play your ipod songs. Nice features and great sound. Very cool. Must have on ipad. You can use it with your on blow and control even better the sounds. Love it!!

Awesome. If you are a bone player.. Just get this app (seriously). Everything is excellent! - the blow function needs some repair work though

Awsome!. It's the best trombone app so don't waste your money on other apps. It would be cool if you could look at a picture while playing so you could read music.

Fun App. Love it!!! Love being able to get more songs. Thanks! The sound is the best music app sound I have heard. I completely recommend it. I am a sax and clarinet player and have not found a music app that compares with this one. I knew nothing about the trombone before this app. Now I can play lots of songs. My friends that are trombone players think it is great too. They just don't have iPhones, so they play on mine.

Awesome. Ok, so I don't play trombone or anything like it but this app is awesome. Having tried a couple of music apps already, I must say this is the best one. Really enjoy playing along to the tunes as well as my own iTunes library. You haven't heard Metallica's Seek and Destroy until you've heard it with the iBone :-)

Imazing. Fun app! I do think it should have more songs and more trombones so that u can play lower and also like I saw in another review it should have peddle tones. Take it from a trombone player

Amazing.. I play real trombone and baritone... Aka trombaritonieuphonium. Worth way mire than the price, This is the best app on my iPod, I would suggest making more instruments like trumpet or baritone :D

I love this app!!!. i am a beginner trombone. and this app has helped me with scales, note names what position its in and is a whole lot of fun! it give you a choice of songs to play such as aura lee, greensleeves, ect. but i love this app and if yor a musician or not youll love this!

Only few songs you must pay too much. It is not worth its price, because you get only 5 or 6 songs if you buy the app. Moreover the additional songs for it are rather expensive: 2 new songs for 1$! For the price of this app I would expect at least 20 songs, and for a dollar I would expect 5-6 songs at least...

Great!. Pros: -As a Trombone player, this app is completely accurate! -It's easy to learn! -It actually could teach you more about the trombone! - Sound Quality is Good. -Not Expensive! Cons: - I don't know about you guys, but on my Trombone, I can hit C2-F5 (no trigger)where as this app only has E2-D5. Suggestions: -What if you could add in many more types of Trombones. Such as the Bass Trombone, the valve Trombone, the Alto Trombone, the Soprano Trombone, and the piccolo Trombone. But with additional charge of course because I am definitely willing to fork over some more money over to this app!

Amazing. I haVe played bone for three years and thought that no one would ever give the trombone any attention. This app proves me wrong and does it with style.

Awesome but not working. My friend had this and showed it to me about a week ago. It was awesome so I ended up getting it, but much later. By the time I bought the app it had broken. It has no sound. No point in a music app that has no sound. I hope this is fixed soon. I will give this 5 stars anyway because I know it will be fixed and once it is, it is a great app

Like it. Great app! Developer went to some detail to make the sound accurate. For example, on a real trombone when you play notes in alternate position they have a different timbre than in the primary - this happens on the iBone too. There's even a bit of corrosion on the lower outer slide tube right where it would be with a real trombone. This app is a great way to annoy your bandmates without actually having to get a trombone out. Or have chops or anything like that. :)

Love it!!. C'mon!! Who doesn't want an iBone?? I just did a concert tonight and the guitar player showed me the app and I immediately downloaded it. It works perfectly and is easy to control. We were totally goofing around and did a duet while backstage during the intermission. I'm thinking of actually playing it on my next show for fun. I actually play trombone for real so this is just awesome!! I showed 20 other people tonight ;) A few ideas: I wish it went a little higher as the range is a fourth low based on most professional players. Up to a high F would be nice but it's obviously great as is. Maybe adding low pedal tones would be cool too. Oooh, and an option for vibrato on/off with control of how much or how little vib. Great app hands down!

Must buy this!. ! I play the trombone in real life and the accuracy and effects are amazing and is worth $1.99 all the way. Even if you don't play it, this is easy to do and the songs already show you were to press. I also love that you can play along to your own iPod songs

Love it!!. I play trombone in real life and this has a great sound! I love the play along mode and when I saw it had Greensleeves (one of my favorite songs to play) I bought it right away. My only complaint is the notes are kinda small and close together; very easy to misplay. Also more play along songs ASAP, more difficult pieces as well :)

Great help and fun!. Every once in a while whenever I was not able to hit a note, I would open up this app and see what it sounded like. Also whenever I was on the go without my trombone I would be able to 'practice'! 5/5

Many ways to play!. Love this app! You can play along Guitar Hero style, freestyle, or just mess around. My kids love using the slider. I'm not a musician but this app makes me feel like I'm a pro!

Excellent!. I play 1st t-bone at my high school. This app really helps me with extremely high or low notes who's positions I don't always no. This app is REALLY useful. Definently worth the money.

Music Dictation Tool for Trombonists. I use this app as a handy tool to dictate music that I want to play with my trombone. As I listen to music, I touch iBone with my left index finger, and write the music with my right hand. It works very well. At home or outside, I can play music on my iPod Touch and use iBone at the same time so that I can check the key or play along.

Brilliant Concept. I've played Trombone for 20 years and this app is amazing. I would recommend this a MUST have for any novice trombone player. If you learned trombone by memorizing positions that your teacher wrote for you on the music, this is the app for you!

Well worth it. This is a great tool for beginners, as well as others who want to learn the trombone and how it works. I like how it can do the gliss as well as other slurs. I highly reccommend this app!

THANK YOU!. Well, at the time, I was in 6th grade beginner band. I didn't really know anything, but then I looked on the App Store, found this, bought it, and loved it! This app is so accurate! I did some studying with this app and my essential elements 2000 book and now I know how to play any scale up to the high D that is way on the very top of the screen 9 octaves high in first position (it is so high you can't see the note name, but you can play it). I am now way advanced and way ahead of the kids in my grade (7th grade), and I impressed my band director so much back in the 6th grade. Since I play percussion also I have to read the mallets notes and play them, so I use iTrump to study the treble clef. Thank you so much spoonjack! Keep up the good work! :D Best apps ever!

Amazing. I play 1st trombone at my school and this app is fun to play my music on and show all my jealous trombone playing friends. :P. Haha the only thing is I had a hard time buying it because of the cost an I think lowering it slightly would bring in more non trombone players who aren't as interested in trombone playing.

Very well done.. I am a doctoral trombone student and I find this app to be very well done. I would recommend, however, making the image of the trombone semi-transparent and placing the bell over the fourth position as that would be more visually accurate. Thanks for a very fun app!

Great practice tool.. I'm in my school's jazz band and this will help improve my improvisation skills. A very useful tool indeed. I would highly recommend this to any trombone player.

Amazing little trombone!. I've actually used this app for several years now and it has continued to hold its position right on my main screen of apps. What we really get a kick out of is the song book. Imagine guitar hero but for a trombone. The app tells you where you should be tapping and when to play a song. This is a riot when you get a group together and everyone tries to keep up with one of the faster and more difficult songs! This app is what it would look like if Apple themselves added a trombone to garage band. It has that level of polish.

Hands Down The Best App in The App Store!. After playing ibone for a minuite i fell in love with it. Ive purchased $10 apps and they were ok but this app is the best! it beats all of the best apps in the app store! I play the trombone and this is sooooo accurate, i tune with this and play some of my more dificult pieces with it. Thanks to this app i can learn my smphonic band music on the go without my trombone!Without a doubt in my mind the IS the best app in the app store!

Amazing app!. This app is fantastic. It covers a range from low E to double high D (to play above double C, just move your finger as far up as you can; there's a nearly invisible extra partial). I thikk it's worth more than the price; a great deal.

Love the app. I used to use this all the time on my 3G, but now that I upgraded to iPhone 4, the sound of each note articulation is very percussive. I've never noticed this before, and I'm not really liking that sound, please fix? Thanks, and I still love the app

Pretty good... Please add support for turning the iPad. It only loads in one direction which is always upside down based on my iPad case. Otherwise a very cool app.

Wow!. I love this app. I am a trombone player, first off. Playing this iBone "makes sense." You have all 7 slide positions, and all partials up to high Bb. So playing it is like second nature. I did like in the video, fired up a song in iTunes, and had a blast playing along. This app actually helps me "see" patterns in the position/partials as I use different scales. Oh and it actually sounds great. I would like "in app" iTunes controls, and a volume slider to adjust the ibone volume to match my tunes. I recommend all trombone players get this. If you're not a trombonist, you may still enjoy this.

Maryland. Several of us trombone players have not been able to play the notes using the correct positions on the slide. Are we technically challenged or the trombone is not set up to do this? The sound itself is excellent.

Great app, but it crashes. This is a great app to simulate trombone positions, but whenever I go into "settings" it crashes. Needs a new update
