Bring back Team Names and Stop Button. My phone automatically updates and it no longer has the things mentioned in the title. I play with a large group every weekend, and someone is always breaking one rule or another. There’s no way to stop the round and give the other team a point without waiting for the timer to end. Also, no one usually remembers who is Team 1 and Team 2... give us back the option to name ourselves please! We’re having to use someone’s phone who hasn’t updated yet.

cool app. This is a real party in my pocket for me and my friends. I've never seen so many phrases and words that differ from the simplest to more difficult ones. It's a great simulator for brains but yet we can always have fun.

Fantastic!. I’ve had this app for awhile, but it’s really been a great boredom buster during all the shutdowns! It’s simple enough for all ages to use, and has a great variety of topics to choose from. The free version is awesome, but I bought the initial expansion pack for extra categories. I also love that it offers the ability to make your own lists. Thank you!

Excellent game. My only gripe is how frustrating it is to start a round of ‘party heads’. It does not just start when you place it on your forehead. Everyone ends up violently shaking my phone trying to get it to start, but we’ve usually got to close out of the app and restart. Kindve kills the mood . Can’t there just be a manual start button? We played this for hours at Thanksgiving. So much easier than cards and a lot more fun!

Awesome cool game. This is a really cool charades games with different types and categories too but the name on Hint Sprint I think it should be called Clue Sprint because one person giving out the clues hint sprint didn’t sound right to me when I saw it y’all should think about it and see if that fits it overall it’s a awesome charades app game most definitely for sure 👍🏽👍🏽

Overall improvement. They should give you the ability to limit the number of skips you can do as we usually play with a “one skip rule.” Also it is hard to access the scoreboard in case you give the wrong score or forget to award a point. Win by two points would be a good option especially in close games. In the heat of the moment it’s hard to remember which direction to swipe- there should be fixed icons on the screen indicating skip vs “got it.”

Latest update is terrible. The latest version has several foundational flaws.. such as, no back button in the menu, can no longer pause your game, it no longer has the normal catch phrase game version, you can’t see how many you got correct. The user experience is just poor..the prior version was a bit dated but it’s core functionalities worked. Won’t be playing until there’s a fix.

Great game, but should remove the stop button. We had a blast playing this game, but several times we’d hand off the phone to the next team and someone would accidentally hit the stop button and we’d have to start over. That button should be a pause button that brings up an option to stop the game or resume gameplay.

World’s Greatest Developer. I recently expressed some concerns with the playability of the recent releases. I certainly didn’t expect a reply ever from the developer. But he responded within 15 minutes and issued an update the same day. Outstanding customer service! You’ve got a customer for life! Thank you!

Would recommend it. Great version of catchphrase for iPhone. Well worth the money!

Feedback. The skip limit is annoying. When playing with a family the amount of Proper Nouns is tough. So you need more skips to be family friendly

Introduction video is annoying. This is really a fun app, until you want to change to another category, then the introduction video pop up each time and it gets really annoying. We know how to play, and we get it really....but everytime seeing the video really kills the fun.

Missing purchased titles. I purchased two categories in the past and they’re not available anymore even when I restore purchases… can you please help?

Catch phrase. Solid. Users update the cools which is fun but sometimes utterly worthless. But it’s kind of like playing that one friend where everyone is like come on dude. It’s fun, buy it, and play it at the bar or solo when you can’t sleep.

Great alternative to original. Don't know how often it's updated, but often enough and more than never so it's automatically better than catch phrase. Also customizable settings. Total rip off of catch phrase but it's so much fun and catch phrase doesn't even have a free or paid app (and is a total rip off of 10,000 pyramid already) so dl it guilt free and have fun.

Custom Catch Phrase. I love that you can mix and match categories, and now I just discovered that you can add your own categories and words! We are using this for my mom’s 50th birthday to do a game of catch phrase themed around her! How cool!

Love the game, not the bug. Game is amazing, has been for years. Last update brought a bug that when you swipe up to change the category the info video plays every time. Every time, super annoying. Also, a feedback option in game settings would be awesome. Keep up the hard work!

Nice idea for a party. A simple and easy, but extremely funny game. I play it with my friends in real life or online (I don't play with strangers so I know nothing about this function). And you know it still hasn't bored us. There are so many categories and phrases so I guess it's going tol take ages to try them all. It's a good idea for a party, everybody will like it.

Please update for IOS8. Updated my phone to IOS 8.0.2 and now app crashes within seconds of starting game, please fix, it's a great game.

Awesome!. If you're looking for a catch phrase type game. You've found it. If you're having a games night or want to kill some time with friends this is the app. Great that you can add your own words and phrases. Wish the beeps and buzzer were louder and that there was more of a random countdown so you could not memorize when it will buzz. A little winning tune for when a team reaches 7 would be ideal. There should be a counter for people who are just playing to get a certain number of guesses in the time allowed. Love this app.

Lots of fun. This app is lots of fun. My only warning is that you make sure your device is well protected because players get so excited passing it around that it is not always done gently.

Pretty bad. While this app is technically a copy of the pass-and-play game CatchPhrase, this is an extremely un-polished app. It acts (and sounds) like a hobby project someone put together in their spare time.

Decent. Is a really fun game, but the expansion packs are difficult to get. I have the option to either buy them all for 10.99, advertise the game on fb or Twitter once a day for 50 coins (you need 100 to unlock a pack) and that doesn’t actually work. I’ve done it through the app and it hasn’t updated my coins... fun game though

Love it sooo much. I have the actual catch phrase game and when I realized this app existed, instant purchase, great categories and all around great fun, play it everyday with big groups of friends or just a couple of us. I would refer this game to all... Full of laughs and challenges! If your reading the reviews debating to get this, stop debating and get this app, it's a must for all iPhone, iPad or ipod people. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

Fun but has some bugs. When playing with people in the same room the game is a lot of fun, but if you are trying to play online there are a few problems. Ever since a couple of updates ago online play is completely broken and will not load. It just says try again and hasn't worked for over a month. Not every tile appears when you are answering questions sometimes making you automatically lose that question. About every 7 questions one of the tiles grows so large in size you cannot select the tiles underneath it preventing you from getting the question correct also. Very annoying when you know the answer but are marked wrong because of a bug.

Bad Clone. Bad clone of Heads Up with atrocious in app purchases after the initial purchase. Wish I could get a refund.

Accessed Camera and Mic. Asked for both camera and microphone privileges for no apparent reason. Concerning.

Fun. Downloaded this Christmas Day for family to play and we had a blast...my only complaints are I wish it had a pause button to stop the next question from coming as we talk a lot between questions and like to comment on previous phrase. Second, we had too much talking going on to hear the tutorial but couldn't figure out how to get it again.

Very fun game- i like it alot!. Made a recent road trip a breeze. The app is great and there are plenty of quality phrases. We didn't have any repeats for a few hours. The score does reset when you change categories but its easy to work around and not a problem- plus the developer says it'll be fixed in a few days which I'm looking forward to. Overall, this is a great app and def worth the download. I've tried a few of the other similiar games, and Phrase Party is the easiest to use and has the best phrases.

Fun. It good

A blast!!!. This is effectively catch phrase, but much better since the categories are more fun. After the regular categories I really suggest spending the buck on the other more fun topics. Drunk or sober, or in between, this is a good game that others will not be able to resist getting in on... Then before you know it it's a party. Just don't let anyone drop your phone on the pass!

App crashes after saving video. Used to be my favorite game to play at a party. Now when you save the video the app crashes and resets all the points. Plz fix asap! Viewing videos after the round is the BEST feature

Great Party App. This app is always a done of fun with people around, whether you're with your family or drinking with friends. The only annoying thing is two updates ago they changed the "Select a Category" screen to now plug their $1 in app purchases. It would be nice if I could remove these categories from appearing, because now the screen looks very cluttered and it's annoying to always see the "Vampire Pack." (In fairness, I bought the "Adult Pack") The screen shots the developer supplies above are not up to date to reflect this change. Still, it's one of my favorite apps so I can't complain too much.

Good. This is an unusual and exciting game. It is quite simple, contains a lot of phrases that you need to guess.I like to play Phrase Party with my friends.

A+++. I love this game, we play it all the time. It is exactly what we expected. The newest update made it even better, multiple teams, add your own phrase. But could you add or change the timer to pick its own times at random. And as the time ticks down, the sound lets you know when it is getting close to the end, so maybe just a buzzer at the end of the timer being the only sound, to eliminate "cheating".

Pretty good a few flaws. So, I'm a big fan of the original catch phrase game in general, and this one isn't a bad match. However, with as intricate as so many iPhone game graphics are, this is one area where they definitely lack. It's incredibly boring in appearance, and you can tell that not a while lot of effort was put into it as far as that aspect goes. Additionally, after playing for hours in the car on a roadtrip, I definitely found lots of repeat words---had to continually skip because words were coming up twice, three times, and even more on occasion.

I like that this game can record video and audio while we are playing. If you have no one to play with you can do it online with other users or connect with your friends. It's a great experience! People was funny and friendly. And one more unusual function of this game - you can play a solo game. It's cool as well

Even more fun if you're creative. essentially Catchphrase, in order to make the game more competitive we had to alter the scoring system outside the game, which was simple. We either play teams where we sit in a circle and every other player is on your team, or we do it where we se who can get the most correct. We found that deducting points for skipping was not as fun as the rapid pace of say whatever you can. there is an awesome option to Create your own category. you would think it's cheating if one made the list, but you forget what words are there and plus, the others don't know them. as a medical student, i had my friends each put in 20 medical words/phrases and we ended up with over 200 words in 15 minutes. fun stuff :)

Exactly what I have been looking for. I have wanted a custom "phrase" game for years, and now I have found it! I was able to name my own category and add my own word list. I had fun coming up with almost 400 words that pertain to my hobby (knitting and spinning). I cannot wait to bring Phrase Party to our next gathering. I am already thinking of starting categories for other groups of friends I know (maybe one about my home town for when I get together with the "old gang"). I also plan to bring this to a game night with friends this Saturday. We always play a few rounds of a similar "phrase" game but I think the categories that came with PHRASE PARTY sound like much more fun. I also purchased the Christmas List and I have my eye on a couple other categories that i think sound like fun. I am looking forward to having this already loaded on my iPad and iPod for unexpected times when a little fun is needed. I am thankful for the solo option for the times I get stuck in a waiting room or in a long line - now I will have something to pass the time. I just cannot say enough good things about this game!

Awesome!. Downloaded this game when friends and family were over and didn't stop playing until 4 hours later! SO MUCH FUN! only suggestion is for the developers to keep updating the system so that you won't ever recycle through terms. After 4 hours, we started to see things that we had already played before
