Please stabalise the app. Terrible unstability these past two weeks, please sort these out.

Better than getting your news via Facebook. Easy to navigate app.

Awesome App. Flawless. I’m from the USA and absolutely nothing compares to the quality of writing and App quality.

Beats American propaganda. Thank you so much for fighting American propaganda! Please continue to give us ACTUAL news!

Brave. I switched from the BBC. The BBC just isn’t impartial anymore; their North American coverage is *unreadable*. ABC is like a breath of fresh air, wow!!! They have shown a ton of courage standing up to China’s repeated evil. They appear to not sell their soul and ethics for ad dollars. Much respect.

Version 6. It looks good. The abilities to choose the sections I want to read, and then to sort them into my preferred order are a great step forward. However, articles are often repeated in multiple sections and in the Top News tab. Some articles remain for days. Articles that have been read are not greyed out, or otherwise marked. The experience of reading the news would be much improved if the clutter of old, repeated and previously read articles is removed.

Stop auto playing video. Your ABC NEWS APP is auto playing the "30 seconds" news video when you scroll down the articles list from the main page. That is incredibly annoying and cuts out the ABC RADIO APP or any other background playing audio on the device. It is bad practice and presumptuous to auto play a video (much less take over the audio) when using a primary text based app - which the ABC news APP means to most people.

The app is Ok; its the content that’s the problem…. Most news apps are much the same. The ABC News app is not outstanding, it’s just Ok. The real problem with this app is the content and the way it’s organised. The ANC is supposed to be Australia’s national broadcaster (broadcast having a much different meaning today than when the Corporation was founded). It is supposed to cover regions, states and the nation. This is the source of my first complaint. Regional news and affairs coverage is almost nonexistent. State news and affairs is rudimentary and national coverage is mediocre at best. My second complaint (and it’s related to my first complaint) is the actual news content. Many stories don’t seem to be written by journalists, they are most certainly not checked by a copy editor. They are also quite regularly inaccurate. As an example, recent coverage of the US Grand Jury process (in relation to Donald Trump) was plain inaccurate. Any simple check of Wikipedia would have given the journalist the facts needed for the article. I keep the app because I believe in the concept of a public broadcaster but I seldom use it these days. The ABC’s headlong rush into “digital” to try and gain a younger audience will, I’m afraid, make this app even worse over time. And that is a real pity!

Needs more news. It’s a pretty good app, and has some great abc content. But it would be nice to have a category for just news, you know, current events, without the human interest and analysis pieces. I’d like to be able to use the app as my main source of staying up to date on current events. Too often the Top Stories are analysis and human interest pieces rather than the straight reporting of the facts they deal with. The “just in” category can change quickly over the course of a day while the rest of the categories can sometimes show the same articles for a week. It would be nice to have a snapshot of the events of the last 24 hrs that I could check in the morning to keep myself up to date.

App performance is poor. I use the ABC News app several times a day (Apple iPad) and am now finding that I am able to read a couple of stories ok but, after about 5 minutes, I link to a new story, wait and wait, and either give up or get an error. I have found that reading any more stories is impossible so I just have to close the app and go to The Guardian or some other source for news. The poor performance is happening every time I use the app. This is irritating as the ABC is a trustworthy source of news and, these days, I find the app’s poor & unreliable performance limits my enjoyment of the ABC as a written news source. This started occurring once the login of users was fully implemented. I hope the issue is resolved as the background provided in ABC news stories is far superior to the local commercial TV station apps.

Widget is what makes this very useful (when it works). News apps are decided on where you want to get your news from not the app itself. Whilst abc news is preferred for me, the app has a lot left to improve on. The most useful feature to quickly get your news is from the widget. Which is great, when it doesn’t show “unable to load”. It’s been flaky for a while and constant broken for some time now. Yes even with a new phone upgrade. This is the kind of refinements that need to be in check. The main app is clear and simple in its layout which is what you need from a news page. Many will enjoy the custom topics page. Future updates should look to have basic settings like what is your default landing page and the like as the app is otherwise extremely simplistic which may turn users to RSS feed apps instead.

Responsible and objective journalism. This app gives me what the title says. The reports and analysis of ABC journalists contain well written, informative and up to the minute articles on important issues and incidents. I have confidence that the stories and commentary are free of commercial and political bias but are underpinned by principles of social justice equity and the upholding of human rights. The app therefore continues the same high standards of journalism which has been the hallmark of the ABC for the decades that I have been a listener and viewer.

Much improved. Since the pretty useless first couple of versions of this app, the last is actually pretty good. Notifications are usually on topic for your interests, and the navigation finally feels natural. I would like a bit more control to filter out stuff I don’t care about, no matter what subcategory is fits into (please give me a “no sports news ever” option for example), but this has done a good job of actually getting back into the ABC news again.

A Kardashian Free Zone. This is a great app for flicking through headlines that actually indicate the news rather than a flashy catchphrase, and then reading the items that interest you. I know it's shallow, but Graphs of currency vs trade don't interest me. All media outlets are tied in with respective tv stations, and the news outlets have confused what occurs in their "reality" tv shows with "news". It isn't! Thank goodness ABC is pretty well devoid of that rubbish. Oh and the app is easy to use.

Excellent news delivery. A good app backed by brilliant content. The only big hole is a the Local/State level. Even during the State election the reports were infrequent and big local news events were very slow to be reported. There seems to be an amazing of trivial and derivative stories too at the Local level, like sport and what people said on ABC radio - where is the daily reporting of State politics? The contrast between this and the superb National and International coverage is stark.

The only news app I use. I’ve been using this app for my daily news info since it first came out ! But recently I’ve become more and more disappointed ☹️ with its content. For example, the rugby league state of origin series lead-up stories to the first game were all about NSW. NSW this, NSW that !! If you were a diehard QLD supporter you’d consider this to be biased reporting. And now you just can’t use the app cause it freezes when you try to scroll through the news articles or if you can open a news story you want to read it freezes as it’s trying to download. If it’s not fixed soon I’ll be reluctantly ditching this app and looking at the SBS news app as my go to news app.

ABC Is The Best. I am extremely pleased with the ABC News app. It is the best collection of high quality journalism and reporting from journalists all across the country. It offers unrivalled coverage of events from right across the nation. Political reporting is very un-biased. Live blogs are a great edition and are easy way to see the latest COVID news, sports news, or whatever else a blog is written on. I highly recommend ABC News for any and every Aussie.

Bit of tweaking maybe?. Enjoy the app and ease of use however disappointed the ‘just in’ news doesn’t appear to be refreshed on weekends as often as weekdays. Surely the world doesn’t slow down or become less news worthy and interesting on weekends! Also, local news often doesn’t change for days on end. I value the local news segment in particular as a way of keeping up to date when unable to get into town for the local paper.

Long time user, first time reviewer. The latest app update makes this the most streamline news app I’ve ever used. Added function of font sizes, dark mode and article save options was much needed, but incredible happy that it has been implemented. Also, the feature article UX elements create a great interactive reading. If I were to add a small feature, it would be a visual marker that an article has already been read, perhaps a faded preview thumbnail This app is my preferred place to read the news and couldn’t recommended it any more highly

Please fox accidental taps. I like the app in general, although it seems there are more articles available in the web version than on the app version. But with the app, it is SO annoying that when I am scrolling through an article on my phone it is far too easy to tap on the menu at the bottom or accidentally swipe right and the page has suddenly been replaced with something else. Sometimes it isn’t even possible to go back easily and I have to return to the main page to try to find the article again, and scroll back to where I was reading. This is incredibly frustrating. The bottom menu should be a disappearing menu like Safari has, and it should be possible to turn off swipe right to go to next article. I hate that ‘feature’ as on the phone,it is too easy to swipe accidentally when trying to scroll.

Stop opening when I want Safari!. I don’t mind this app, and dip into it occasionally. But I much prefer to look at the ABC news website, as more interesting and varied. Why, in the last week or two has Safari kept automatically opening this app? I’ve tried to change the settings in Safari and it seemed to stop for a few days, but now it’s happening again, despite the settings not changing. It’s annoying enough that I’m about to delete this app from my iPad unless someone can provide a solution!

3-star glitches. This is a review of the app. Not of the ABC, which remains the best news source in Australia (despite two typos per published story and a tendency to focus on Canberra). I’ve been using this app (and the previous ABC app) for several years. Some glitches seem endemic. But there is a new one -when I open the app and it launches a popup “if you are accessing this through facebook, why not try the app...”. Hello, I’m already using the app, can’t you see that? I’ve cancelled the popup several times. and the entrenched glitches... The app stalls after about three stories, and needs to be closed and reloaded. There is no separation of news from magazine type articles, blogs and advertising puff (for ABC programmes but also “The Crown”) The app interferes with Safari (which opens the ABC site after using the app). Insufficient proofing and correction of errors. Two typos per story.

Breaking News or else!!. I keep finding myself reading articles and then suddenly “breaking news” and I get redirected without a choice to that article and have to start again to find what I was reading. Often this “breaking news” is a developing story so there is barely a sentence after some announcement but you want to be first and we get to an article to be told it’s a developing/updating story… Maybe add a dropdown banner to alert us to a breaking story.

Happy with the app...........but. I have finally decided I like the app. Having had the app for years it took a while to decide it was as good as the older app. The ‘but’ is because I’ve been very disappointed to note that a story I read in the morning, was pulled by the afternoon. Not just once, but ‘the’ article that disappeared was one that criticised the actions/comment of a minister of the current Federal Government. This action by ?? at the ABC adds weight to the various negative comments about the (so called) ‘unbiased ABC’ news. Having never considered the ABC was biased one way or another, I’m becoming more cynical. It’s an absolute shame that I feel I may no longer trust the ABC to report the news on any Federal Government minister of any party, good or bad, without someone deciding that the particular article should be pulled. People like me have long memories of a very very balanced ABC! 😞😞😞

DO NOT TRUST THIS APP. Like most days I began with the ABC news app. Today it won’t load, not anything. Deleted, re-installed, same issue. App is dead. Ok, switched to browser and website. It won’t load either! Has the whole ABC gone off the air? l live in Australia and for security always use a VPN set to Australian servers. Every app and website works - but now, not the ABC! Is this a new policy? Give us your data or we will block you? Now I can’t trust ‘Australia’s most trusted news’ because they are clearly harvesting personal data. If this is just a glitch, please fix it. If, instead, the ABC has morphed into a Murdoch clone, we are in very scary times.

Real news from your ABC. While I might be in the age demographic that only watches the ABC or SBS, nonetheless the reasons for doing so are still valid. While both news sources are independent and very reliable, the ABC’s ad free presentation (irritating self-promos excepted), continues to be very up to date and well informed. While the Fairfax Press continues to do a good job, they are slowly being emasculated by management: without the ABC, there might be nothing to save us from the horror of a totally Murdoch press news service. Compulsory Andrew Bolt for your daily read? Not for me.

You had a great thing - until you spoiled it. The most useful part is the app was the most recent national news bulletin button, which has quietly disappeared. Many others have called this out, but nothing has been done. Please return this element to the app. The steaming news stories option is not the same and not a suitable substitute. You are a 24/7 news service. It’s not much to ask that if you create an app, that someone updates this one element regularly. Also, please stop trying to make your users sign up and give you their private info. Our taxes pay for the ABC. You need to respect our privacy, stop trying to vacuum up our info like corporations do, and get rid of that annoying “sign in” overlay screen. Both these points have been raised again and again in the reviews. Please start listening to your audience. They listen to you. And they pay for you.

since last update. Since the last update for about the last three weeks, I find that the app closes at least 3-4 times when I try to open it. I have checked settings and turned off a few things because even when it did open it jittered and would not scroll. That seems fixed now but it still takes several attempts to open. It did not do this previously. I am on an ipad pro. Any suggestions for a fix at my end or indications of a performance improvement from your end gratefully accepted. I have deleted and reinstalled the app but that made no difference.

Australia’s Gaslighting National Broadcaster. I had been a loyal ABC listener since the 1970’s and welcomed the technological progress that put the ABC directly into my hands 24/7. Unfortunately, I can no longer bear to listen to the ABC, due to its evolution into a far Left propaganda & misinformation operation. Listening to anchors repeatedly distort, lie & spread far Left talking points in place of news, became intolerable but the mail in the coffin, was the outrageous levels of bias and the rude and arrogant treatment meted out to listeners holding contrary views and attempting to speak. Nearly all my family and friends can no longer stomach the ABC and say, as I do, that they didn’t leave the ABC, the ABC left them!

Not as good as the older app. I check the ABC news app at least 3 times a day, just to get a handle on what is happening in our world. Even though I know there is a definite left leaning in opinion within the ABC, I am willing to overlook and understand that. My problem is with the app itself. Even though I have “joined” the ABC family (can’t use the app without doing that) I am continually asked to “set my location” even though I have done this multiple times. Can’t you iron out this bug 🪲?

Disappointed in function of app. Latest update still doesn’t fix annoying issue! After reading any article, especially once you have read beyond the first page, when you have finished and hit back it takes you back to the top of the first page rather than to the page location you were currently reading. You spend far too much time scrolling to find the article you just read and where you were up to. Please fix this.

Great news app but needs BOOKMARKS please. This is an excellent news app BUT one thing that really, really irritates me is that there is currently no way to SAVE or BOOKMARK stories within the app, and the option to open the story in a browser seems to have vanished. If I’m in a rush I would like the ability to save an item I don’t have time to read in detail until later. I also like to be able to locate particular news items, editorials, etc from the past, and in order to meet both these needs it would be ideal if there were some way to save selected news stories etc. Maybe future releases could include the ability to include comments or feedback where appropriate.

Disappointing lack of edit control. There isn't enough control over what you can select to view in my opinion. For someone who doesn't want sport news, sport is dotted throughout all the top sections. Plus you have no choice but to see Top Stories. Then if you select World News and Australian news, sometimes single items are repeated so many times as they are repeated in different sections. I like the app guys but would love some more control over the content I see please.

It fulfils its purpose. It provides you the news in a simple easy to follow format, except for the exception detailed below, it’s bug-free and very response and easy to use. Some of the best ABC journalism is often accompanied by interactive graphs or diagrams or indeed have a live blog associated with the relevant piece of work. Sadly, the app in its current form does not cater to these tools well; not at all in the graphs/diagrams area and very poorly in the live blog area. You are simply directed to the website version of the piece which involves a departure from the ease of the app. In all honesty it’s a minor thing, the journalism is not impacted, it’s merely a personal gripe of mine, and is the reason why 4/5 stars is my score

Star Quality. ABC Listen provides me with anytime accessibility to so many interesting and informative radio programs which I would otherwise miss when they are first broadcast at times during the day or in other regional locations. The range of topics offered is amazing and these podcasts are well researched, professionally produced and are presented with balance. I top up my playlist every morning and enjoy listening when commuting to and from work thanks to the magic of bluetooth. The way that Richard Fidler intelligently and respectfully interviews guests with amazing historical or quirky stories on Conversations is both engaging and easy listening at the same time. The Science Show, Health Report, Life Matters, Big Ideas, Best Practice, The Spirit of Things and others remain permanent fixtures in my selected Program List. Thank you to all at the ABC ! Frank Holmes, Warnbro WA

Good app but scrolling on it is really slow. The news from ABC is great but this app could do with some improvement, namely the Top Stories section, as it always seems to be sluggish when trying to scroll through headlines which are linked to articles. Sometimes it doesn’t recognise my swipes at all other times it’s delayed or stops while I’m still scrolling and sometimes it does actually work fine but not often. I’m quite certain it’s an issue with the app as I have not encountered this problem using any other apps on my phone.

Deleted. The ABC during covid has been very sensational and never let the truth get in the way of a breaking news report. Norman Swans speculation and pretending to be a public health expert has resulted in some outlandish claims that served only to panic the population. Another recent article on transport in Sydney was just reproducing a press release from the NSW Labor Leader. They hadn’t researched any of the claims and just seemed like a mouthpiece. It was obvious to a person who knows a little about transport that the claims were untrue characterisations of the facts and just revealed the ABCs sloppy journalism. I think the departures over the last two years have hollowed out their experience and intellectual base.

Balanced news. While I seem to be part of a the swelling herd that now gets most of its news online, I am often disheartened by what some media outlets churn out as “news”. I couldnt care less about sensationalized faux celebrity tidbits, or referencing tv network shows, which are just poorly disguised cross promotion. The ABC has a consistent high standard, and with what I see as mainly balanced reporting. While a mass market of news consumers will never all be 100% satisfied with any news delivery, I feel that more people would benefit, and be better informed, if they got their news feed from the ABC, rather than a lot of the swill that is served up by the growing number of sensational and/or banal media outlets that masquerade as news services.

Good app. Love getting my news from the ABC on the phone. Be nice to have a keyword search function. I like how it gives quick access to the latest stories. Would also like it if could re-order the pages and/or set the default page that I open to, eg Just In or Local. Otherwise, the ABC is my reliable source of info and this app is great for that. Only other comment is that the standard of grammar and spelling has slipped. Lots of basic mistakes, almost at the "there, their, they're" level.

Great app, but video auto-play hijacks audio.. I have been using this app for years and find it simple and intuitive. However, the latest update has added a video auto-play in the “top stories” feed which will pause audio you were listening to from another app to and play it’s own - even if audio is set to mute in the ABC News app. Then after manually re-starting the audio you actually want to listen to and flick back to this app and keep scrolling past a video, your audio pauses again. Rinse and repeat. This is endlessly frustrating and has caused an otherwise usable app to become almost entirely unusable as I’m typically listening to music when reading the news. Could this please be resolved?

Good news, but some app bugs annoy me. Developers: the top menu with quick links keeps disappearing. Its difficult to navigate to these areas with them. The only way I've managed to get the menu back is to delete the app and reinstall. This is annoying. I'm also getting inconsistent notifications. I'm trying to target particular updates which used to come through fine. More details needed on which articles are defined as which topics etc.

Slow loading. New update today and it is taking forever to load list of stories and once you tap on story, takes a long time to load the story. I stopped at one story as I dont have that much time in my day to waste.I should also say ABC journalists are getting extraordinarily lazy. Why am I opening a “trusted” news source just to read other peoples tweets.I would like a news story, not a long series of screen captures of other people’s meaningless musings from twitter

Disappointing new version of a great app.. I love the ABC news and the old app was great because it listed all the top stories on the widget page of the iPhone 5. Now this feature is gone. I've written to ABC app support but received no reply. When I open the app to read the news, the number and quality of stories seem to diminish each day, especially in analysis and opinion where old articles can exist for a week. I keep hoping to see a new update that will fix these issues, but so far no luck. Six months later and this app is now working as I remember the old app. It is much improved in quality and content. It has finally achieved the functionality of its predecessor. Why the ABC felt compelled to produce a new inferior version is beyond me.

Stories not loading. In the past few days I’ve had issues with stories not loading at all on the news app. I’ve never had a problem previously and I’ve used the app for years. Yesterday I deleted the app and put it on again. That worked for about 12 hours, but now it’s stopped loading stories again! Definitely an issue with the abc news app as I’ve not had a problem with other news apps such as SBS or The Guardian. Please fix as I’m realising how often I use it!

And this is the national news network?. I've been a fan of ABC (radio and tv) for decades and in these formats no one comes near them. I find it inexplicable that their online services, including this app, are so utterly second-rate. Specifically, this app on a daily basis, while it displays the subject of each news item, fails to open the news item - one watches a spinning wheel for approx 20-30secs then the word 'fail' appears on the screen. And that's the outcome for any item one tries to expand when the app isn't functioning as it should. As well, I'm amazed at the indifference of ABC staff to updating articles - it's not uncommon to find top stories that haven't been updated for anywhere between 4-6 hours, in peak periods when, I would have thought, currency was the name if the game. The app is a dud, it's not maintained and updated as it should be by ABC staff and it downright embarrassing.

ABC for everyone. (Using IPhone 7 central Vic AU fixed wireless NBN, wifi supplementing poor cell phone reception) Pause/play toggle is consistently ‘soft’ and continues to resume playing at least twice when I press pause. slow to respond: seems to depend on processor demand. It’s priority is too low in the pecking order. —- Also: where are the embedded contextual ‘share’ hot links for every podcast. Crowd based promotion is important! Lots of meaningless menu symbols in every window but no obvious share option. Backwards compatibility for all phones is essential. The National carrier is an essential service and people should not be stranded with inferior software just because they don't buy the latest hardware. Sure you have a flagship app for new phones with pretty bells and whistles, but bug fixes and security updates are necessary for older hardware and older broadcast tech, such as G3. If it's still in use, it should be accommodated. The cell phone industry is predatory and corrupt for orphaning hardware after only a few years. Don't follow them in the race to the bottom.

Useful, but…. I like the dark mode so I can read at night without overwhelming light - except unannounced so items are not simple text, and start in a blaze of white. And since a recent update the network activity icon shows unceasing activity. This does not happen at the moment in the version on my phone, which I now will not allow to update. While tending leftwing personally, I too am finding current approaches too wokish. And Turkey is still Turkey whatever the idiotic explanation for attempting to change its pronunciation. Just like Italy is still Italy, and Roma is a town in QLD.

Begin landscape view. I find the app and the news content most valuable but could the developers please address the bug in landscape view when using an iPad? In this view there is a white strip down the right hand side of the page that the white font disappears into, blue hypertext can be seen so I’m assuming the rest of the text is there just not viewable. I have my iPad locked into landscape as that’s the way I prefer to view material but have to unlock it and rotate to read most articles, something that isn’t necessity on other news apps. Thanks in advance.

Watch the decline of journalism. Once a benchmark for what journalism should be, the ABC has devolved dramatically. The ABC now sees itself as the ‘Government Police’, tasked with holding the government to account. Instead of providing multiple perspectives on topics and having the reader decide, you now have thinly veiled opinion pieces telling you what you should think. To what moral standard is the ABC holding people to account, it must be some public list of what is considered ‘correct think’ right? Or maybe it’s just the journalists opinions, and oh, Twitter… This is made worse because the ABC journalists see the world through Twitter, slanting their world view. Twitter sentiment is public sentiment to them. It’s horribly sad that the ABC has come to this. It’s like the government is forcing us to pay the costs of one of the commercial channels, since like them, the ABC seems to operate in its own interests now.

App hangs and won’t load new stories. The ABC app is the only news app I read. However, I’ve noticed recently, that the app will hang and not load stories necessitating deleting the app and data and downloading again which clears the problem. I’m hoping someone will investigate. It remains the best news app I’ve come across!!

Crash (fr few days ago) fixed - thanks!!!. It’s working again, thanks, really appreciate it. So back to 5 stars from me (from 3 stars). Please keep up the excellent work and keep progressing (but pls ensure any technical issue feedback from any users are listened to in timely manner- so your users base will keep growing - knowing and trusting that your developers will keep working hard at fixing any technical issues, so more & more people will use this great app of abc Australia, for their trusted source of info/facts, fact checks and diverse opinions). Many thanks! —————————— Hi, I usually check the news every morning on this app for the past 3 months or so and have been very happy with it. 3 days ago there was an update (for stability it seems), and it was working ok till yesterday. Then this morning it keeps crashing (tried it about 3 times just now) - can you please fix it ASAP? I can check abc news on the web or tv, but having this app on my iPhone 6Plus is so convenient. Many thanks (will update the star rating back to 5 once it get fixed).

‘Woke’ nonsense!. I used to really appreciate the ABC and the app itself is great compared to other news apps. It’s great to open an app and not be bombarded with advertising. But recently my opinion of the ABC has changed. Politically I’ve always been left leaning but some of the stories within the app go too far. It’s starting to really seem the ABC is pushing a far leftist agenda. Full of woke, PC culture and extreme feminist views. I have no problem with feminism and want equality for all however, I get the vibe that whoever is writing some of these articles just simply doesn’t like men in the slightest. Not the way forward. I’m sad it’s come to this and I’m left with no choice but to delete the app. 😢

Disappointing trend. I have been a keen reader and supporter of ABC app from the beginning. Now I see more and more “Live” blogs mixed up in the news. This is really annoying when you see a title and open to read it but is just a blog including one phrase of news diluted with useless readers opinions and a lot of rubbish. I was going for ABC to stay informed by professional journalists with high standards providing real, unbiased NEWS and specialists commentaries that you can expect and trust from a flagship organisation. If you have been introducing more and more blog-like content, that is NOT journalism but free content and misinformation. That’s why I stay away from Facebook, Twitter and any other kind of social media loaded with fake news. If you intend to promote this kind of content you will lose the trust of your most devoted readers seeking true, unbiased news published by professional trustworthy journalists. At least you could mark these ‘live’ content as blogs and keep them separate under a dedicated app menu for whoever might be interested but don’t mix it up in the real news titles.

Biased Reporting. The ABC definitely has bias in their reporting and uploading of content in this app. I thought they were meant to be neutral as a government funded agency but that is clearly not the case. This is clearly evident in their Analysis and Opinion section which I found so one sided I turned off but switching that off in settings does nothing and my feed still displays Analysis and Opinion, which, for the past year at least, focuses on feminist topics. It’s got to the point I want to delete the app because it’s guaranteed ABC’s agenda articles will be present on the newsfeed and I’m sick of being forced fed their mission statement.

Great App. Ive found that headlines are “talked up” as a way of pulling people in to read the story only to discover the story has little if anything to do with the now obvious “sensationalised headline”. Another “duped” moment ! But! and this is cool, the headlines of a story on this App are the real deal, there’s none of that “fake talked up” & subsequently “duped again” with this App. What you read in the first 6 or so words is exactly what you get! It really is what all headlines used to be, should still be, a summary of the article! News is local, intrastate and international & is continually updated as each story develops. If you want a quick breakdown of what’s going on I can’t recommend this App highly enough. Great for the busyness of today. If you have more time you can read in-depth often by just one click contained within the stories.
