Lumen Trails lets you take notes, make lists and keep track of other things in your life such as time, workouts, expenses, calories, food, weight, sleep or anything else you can think of, even where you've parked your car. Thousands of people use it every day, and they love it because it truly makes a difference in their lives.
“I've been using Lumen Trails for 6 months and continue to love it. One of my most sticky and useful apps ever on my phone.” – David D'Souza
The beauty of Lumen Trails is that you can track absolutely anything. There are tons of other apps that allow you to track one or two things, for example, calories and weight. But what if you decide to track something else? Say, how many cigarettes you smoke as you try to quit, your eating habits or even net worth? Lumen Trails is the app for that!
Instead of having one app for your to-do lists, one for tracking expenses, another one for tracking your weight, you can declutter your home screen and just have one app that does it all.
Designed exclusively for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Lumen Trails is incredibly powerful, easy to use, and looks beautiful on the Retina Display. It can even backup your data automatically to Google Drive, sync with iCloud, and is fully accessible with Apple VoiceOver in 8 languages. There's nothing that comes even close to it. And to top it all, your data is not locked on your iPhone. You can export it to Excel or Google Docs.
So what's truly important to you right now? Your Health? Fitness? Finances? Productivity?
Track it and get things done!
:: Note to iPhone 8 & 8 Plus users
Now you can ask Siri to find information for you and dictate right into Lumen Trails. For example, hold down the Home button and ask Siri: “How many calories are in a chicken sandwich?”. To start dictation, tap the microphone button on your keyboard and just start talking.

The applications Daily Tracker+ Journal & Diary was published
in the category Productivity on 2009-02-28 and
was developed by Lumen Spark LLC.
The file size is 29.91 MB.
The current version is 11.0.24 and works well on
9.0 and high ios versions.
Celebrating 10 years of Lumen Trails. Updated the app to run flawlessly on the new (and gorgeous) iPhone XS, XS Max and iOS 12. Stay organized!
Update 7/202018: Lacking several options that would be nice. Different colored backgrounds instead of off white, optional tags, etc. The tracker is good and I use it everyday. It's kind of plain thought. For a yearly fee of $10, their should be a lot more options available. After seeing what "Vantage" calendar has in their options for a one time fee of $10, Daily Tracker needs to keep improving to keep people using the app. UPDATE 4/21/18. Still no extra options for different kinds of backgrounds.
This app does EVERYTHING! You have to take the time to learn everything it offers. It’s unbelievable. You can record anything, take pictures, and so much more. Strongly suggest. I’ve NEVER had any kind of glitch. Take the time to play around with it, you won’t be sorry. To top it off it’s FREE!
Love love love this app! Helps me to keep track of various categories in my life!
Bought this app a long time ago under a one time fee usage and liked it. Now it is a subscription model in a price range well above its value. Finding the unsubscribe is only doable on a computer and will confuse most consumers. Bad business model. Thanks but no thanks.
This program does what it claims very well. Why else can you ask.
Awesome app. Easy to use. Extra security, ability to make different categories and manage data.
Update-still Love the app, but sure do wish there was an Android version so I could keep all synced on both my iPhone and Samsung...until then, can’t just use the app I would love to as my go to app, sadly. I started using Lumen Trails(LT) right after it came out--years ago in 2008, just after I became a proficient iPhone user (was all BB fan before crossing over to the "dark side". I loved the iPhone concept and had wished for a "gadget" like it for so long, but didn't think iPhone was for business(I was a Naval Officer(Surface Warfare) with no time to waste and the Navy didn't support iPhone for work, but LT was a big part of changing that perception). LT allowed me to truly use the power of my phone to track/list/to-do/journal from the mundane to work. It is so versatile, powerful yet, simple design that is so complicated, like some apps whose design make them a pain to use. I've tried other apps over the years, that my friends or there's a public commotion about, but I always end up back with my old faithful, always improving Lumen Trails. The only app worthy of this much praise in my reviews. Thanks Lumen Trails--please keep up the great work! PS--for those complaining about their "free" version having limited capability...what did you expect? If you tried it and you liked it, PAY for it to help the developers keep it going and improving. They don't live and work just to serve you, but that's a philosophical discussion I don't have time for with those who complain that they got more than what they paid for, but not everything for nothing.
It is everything in one. You can download an unlimited amount of pictures on your calendar. You can't find anything better. I've tried many apps...
I had this app years ago, was very basic and simple, I’d like to use it again to track just 1 habit and I find out that now I’ve to pay a year subscription :( disappeared. I’ll lock for something else
I want to be able to sync over Dropbox so I can collaborate with my family in the app.
Best all in one app! Have downloaded so many of these things and finally this one does it all and use it religiously! You won't be disappointed What I also love is that you can make your journal hidden and only accessible with password.
Would be great if I can import data from a spreadsheet.
Had a look though. Just not appealing.
Purchased this app 7 years ago and it was great. Haven’t had a project that required it for a few years but recently found a use for it again only to find... SUBSCRIPTION MODEL. $15/yr for something that worked fine previously. Nope. Bye.
This app does what it says. I can organise most everything I need to keep track of, sleep, exercise, shower, wash the sheets etc. Customer support is good. With life becoming so complicated this app helps to sort out what's important. I am becoming very forgetful and know that this app will store any details I need to remember.
Am using it to write a diary about my appointments at an Expo and to add to-do’s. It is very user-friendly. I am using the speech to text a lot. I like the flexibility of it. It is easy to edit entries and to add text or images, either from the library or by taking new photos. I also like that is independent from using data. Therefore it is particularly suitable if you do not intend to synchronise the entries with any other devices. It draws on the library as much as the images that you take on the spot. So to synchronise it constantly would mean a lot of data going forth and back. It is possible to share a selected content and that should be sufficient for most people. It would be great to add the possibility to use the SwiftKey keyboard that I am normally using for other apps. Although my keyboard setting is set to SwiftKey it is not coming up in this app. The other small thing is that if you want to see a close-up of any added image, the app asks you subsequently again to select the image, to keep everything regarding this entry, and to click ‘done’ - that’s three clicks, one click would be plenty for this situation. All we would need are the options to delete or keep the image after having checked the close-up view. In most cases, the blown-up image would not be used for editing purposes but just to see the details when looking at a past entry. All in all I enjoy this very much, thank you. I have subscribed to it.
Amazing app thank you
My previous review was very critical of the developer and the decision to introduce ads and paid subscription without taking into account previous customers who had already paid for the app - especially since there was no real improvement in the function the app. Today, I received an email telling me that the developer has allowed the ability to "restore" previous purchases. So, this is a very grateful acknowledgment to the developer for doing that. I believe the app is free to try, if you can put up with ads, and I would encourage you to give it a go. It really is a great app. Good developers should be rewarded for their hard work, but they shouldn't forget their previous customers.
dont purchase this app, they are just after your money. Even after I deleted it they still continued to take money out of my account.
I bought this app prior to the automatic introduction of a subscription model which introduced ads. Very poorly handled by the developer. You could have introduced a new subscription based app that receives updates and left the old one I bought alone (like ynab classic). It's like buying a pair of shoes, then years later being told I need to pay a monthly fee to use them. Let me wear out my old shoes first, then I'll come and rent a new pair from you when I realise you only rent shoes now, and I need a new pair. You can't change the terms after the purchase and expect people to be happy. I understand everyone wants the security of subscription pay now, but this was a terrible way to introduce it. -----previous review----- Best app I've been able to find to track my music practice data on different instruments. I use both iPad and iPhone and the data syncing between the two is awesome. I can start tracking on one device and stop on another and the data is good! Graphs and statistics are neat too.
Until my debit card was trying to be charged and I didn’t even have the funds available. If I’d have known this, I wouldn’t have gotten this ‘free’ app.
I have used this app for the past few years to track records of exercise, medication taking, etc. I also used the Todo list as my primary and the Quick Notes for many things. Excellent one-stop shop app!!
Sneaky fee anyone? It's a shame.. Paid for the app, developer assured this paid version will not be supported but people who bought can continue to use it. Sounds fair. Then they sneak in an update which introduced Ads or a $24 annual fee. NOT COOL.
I email support about it, they keep sending me the same copy/paste reply.
I love the way this app works—in a simple way it is very statistical. When you are really trying to measure your own behavior and habits so you can improve, there’s nothing better.
Waste of downloading the app.
Only my first day, but the set up has me motivated. Been looking for an app like this.
You cannot even start the app without signing a subscription to get in. What if you just want to use the app and don't want to subscribe they make you do a free month and then you got to cancel out that a free month so you won't get charge 999. This is dumb.
I have been using this App since 2009 and it has Never failed. This is also the Best App that I have found to keep all of my information , when I need to track information from the previous year I can search and find just what I need , I can add photos and voice messages but the most important thing is that I always have a Record of the most important things in my life. I can view a graph for the year to see if I've met my desired goals I rely heavily on this Application , it also allows you to Backup your information Thank You for all of your hard work in the development of this Application
I just want to enter a goal, add some tasks and see percent complete
