Great financial calculator. This is a wonderfully easy to use financial calculator. One of the best features is that it holds the values of the TMV calculations visible below the main display, above each function key, and so it’s easy to see your inputs at a glance. I’ve been using it for years.

New version is awful!. The resolution on the new version is terrible. Also as stated previously, I prefer the main buttons at the bottom like before. Please fix your "updated version."

Resolution is still crap. Was a great app until the last couple of updates. Resolution horrible and landscape view terrible. Way to go.

Can't do npv. Yeah, there's an easy mode, but that doesn't help you learn. Tried putting in risk adjusted cost of capital to calculate npv and it won't accept a percentage. Keeps telling me to put in rate, and then it calculates it as it were zero. And yes I pressed every button just in case the calculator was set up different than every other calculator in the world. Btw, there is no FAQ in the help section. Just a link to a porn site. Huge waste of money. I should have just bit the bullet and bought one from an established brand.

No Instructions on how to use. Web link takes you to a You Tube video showing you a few basic steps. However, the video's sound quality was poor, despite increasing the volume, it was difficult to understand. Had to explore several other web sites to explain the buttons some of the buttons on this calculator.

College student. I think this calc works great for any college finance 301 class. Cheap, effective. What more do you want? I really don't know why it's reviews are so poor. Prolly from competitors. This is from a real student at UNLV who used this all semester. Chea buddy!

Please fix the app. It would be good if the TVM easy mode didn't keep freezing up after using it for awhile. The entry boxes double and then they wont compute an answer. I had to restart my phone both times this occurred. The decimal numbers arent as accurate as a Texas Instruments calculator either.

Great app. I think most of you people are too stupid to use a financial calculator. Either learn to use the app or stick to adding and subtracting. Either way stop posting nonsense.

Needs to be fixed. The app mostly works BUT it does give me errors or wrong information sometimes. I use this as a CFP and I can't have incorrect numbers. Useless to me until fixed. I have had this app for at least 3 yrs

Old Standby. Had this for years. Works like a charm. Wondering when you plan an interface update? Does not handle the higher native screen resolution of new iPhones. GUI needs a facelift.

Perfect Function. This app works great and performs any function a basic financial calculator can. Well worth the price and exactly what I was looking for. Nice touch with the easy mode as well. It makes the app usuable for anyone even you haven't used a financial calculator previously.

great app, needs 1 thing. GREAT APP!!!.... but PLEASE!! Add a copy/paste functionality to this app, so that I can copy figures/solutions from the calculator directly to my notes or an email or an SMS without having to remember and retype it….. THANKS A MILLION!!!!

A very helpful calc for finance students. I've been using this calc for about two years now and I love it!! The loan amortization is my favorite!!!! As a student working on her finance degree, I would recommend it to anyone interested in making their life easier.

Faulty app. I understand the programmer wrote this app as a hobbie. However, it is faulty and there are no responses to the messages sent to him. While it is pennies on the dollar, apps like this shouldn't be on the Apple Store if these don't pass the more basic use.

User. A lot of help fixing problems.

Great calculator!!!!. I am a elementary school teacher that went to get her masters in entrepreneurship. This calculator is easy to use and works great! I recommend it to all my fellow students! It saved me from paying $60 for a regular one for a 2 month finance course. I love that its constantly updated as well! Definately worth the 99 cents!!!! Thanks!!!!

Love it!. I work in finance & being able to do the time value of money for a client in easy mode is much less intimidating than pulling out a financial calculator :)

Great App with minor glitches. Can you fix the visibility when there is a popup window. We can hardly see anything due to the Color mismatch. It will be great if u guys an fix it. Thanks

Piece of c%#@.. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE. It is so awkward and backward and full of bugs you will hate it in the first 30 seconds of usage. And you know how it is with Apple Store apps: no returns, no money back for stupid applications, you pay first you're sorry after.

Fantastic app. As someone mentioned before, just as good as a $60 calulator for .99 Excellent buy!

Great Value. This is perfect for my principles of finance class. The easy mode is really cool, it blows my HP calculator out of the water.

Works well. This is a very useful financial calculator at a fantastic price. Easy mode takes a lot of hassle and guesswork out of common financial calculations, and the regular financial calculator is very good for my MBA finance course. Please update it so that when I change from begin mode to end mode, or vice versa, the change is reflected on the screen. That is, the current mode should always show in the window; currently, it will show BGN even when I've switched to END.

Not even worth a dollar.. Just go online and use one there. I tried this app bc it was a dollar and I did want to carry an iPhone and a financial calculator. Bad move. I want my money back. The calculator does not work. The easy mode does if you know what you are doing but not very user friendly. Don't even try to go to the "tutorial." it's is a scam website. Oh well. There's another dollar wasted.

Definately, if.... Definately WORTH IT, if u know how to use one. My only complaint is that there is no "help" or directions buttons and I would like more functions.

Easy version. This financial calculator is great! As long as you can follow the steps and translate the functions, this app will give you the answers in a user friendly manner. It's inexpensive and does what I need it to do by plug and play. Great job Devs!

Really Bad. Does not work! I compared to HP 17BII financial calculator and the answers that this app gives are just not correct. Spent an hour on this and I am very familiar with how this should work. I wish I had not down loaded. I would strongly recommend not purchasing.

Good app - especially for the money. I have quit a bit of experience with financial calculators and think this is a good app, especially for the money. Haven't done much testing with accuracy, but everything so far has been correct.

Excellent. But don't stop here, expand the functionality. This app must grow! Add options (prices, Greeks, etc).

Doesn't get better than this. The developer is great! Awesome calculator, very cheap, and willing to implement user requests. I'm so glad I bought this. Saved me $30 and it's easier to use than any financial calculator you can find in a store! I took a college finance class and every calculation was spot on. The developer brought back the old look and feel of the calculator which is awesome. Keep up the great work!

Not bad, but needs split screen for iPad pro. Really like this calculator, however needs to have split screen functionality added for iPad pro. Need to be able to draw Ekg and use calculator on split screen...

Just as good as BAII Plus. So far so good, easy mode works great for NPV. Would still like to see a frequency button for pmts though.

Good calculator, but.... ...needs some bug fixes and compatibility with iOS 8. currently the npv function isn't working as there is no prompt for the discount rate (iphone 5, iOS 8). please fix this! thanks!

Please update app. First off the app will crash if you wake up your phone once the screen goes black from not using it. Secondly the buttons are hard to read. Otherwise it's ok.

Very helpful and much easier than a BA II. An AMORT function when you hit the 2nd button would save time when calculating interest and principle payments. I suggested this to the creator and he quickly replied saying it will be added to version 1.3. Easy mode is awesome! Support is excelent, I'd pay much more than .99 for this considering an actual financial calculator costs $35.

Wonderful!. Saved my life when I forgot my calc for a test. It's cheap, works just as good as a regular financial calculator, and simple to use. I'm done carrying my calculator around, this is all I need :) thanks!

Don't Listen To the Negatives, this app is well worth it. I have reviewed the negatives of the app, but apparently that was for the first version. The new version solved those problems. The best thing about this calculator is the "easy mode" which allows you to input data if you still haven't figured out the learning curve of operating the calculator. Well worth the money....actually only $1.99. Its cheap, and works just as good as the HPIIB which costs anywhere between $25-$35.

Bad Design. I'm really disappointed in the design. I think they phoned this one in. The values above the tvm buttons get cut off, the amounts in the CF fields have like 12 decimal places making them not very usable, you can't do uneven cashflows with repeated amounts (if I get 12 payments in a row which are the same I have to add 12 rows). Don't get this app.

Great App!. I downloaded this app because I was required to get a financial calculator for my 400 level Finance class in college. Lets just say that this app was the only reason why I passed that class! Well worth the money and the "Easy Mode" function makes life so much easier and takes a lot of stress out of tricky time value of money problems.

Update killed it. This app was fantastic before the latest update. Now it takes nearly a full minute to load. Anyone using an app like this on their phone obviously cares more about functionality than appearance. Stop trying to make it look pretty at the expense of usefulness.

Aussie Mortgage Broker. I think it is great! as mortgage broker I have people ask me every day; how much can I get for a home loan? How much are the repayments? What if they are fortnightly, weekly etc. With this app I am able to tell them in seconds and I don't have to have my Financial calculator with me. (one less thinking to have on me) Also the calculator cost $99 Aussie dollars and the app only been $3.99 is a better deal. Which is great! I do have one issue. The tool bar along the bottom gets in the way a little as it is to near to other buttons. 4 stars Charles Palmer Aussie Mortgage Broker

Rubbish. This app is a poor substitute for a real financial calculator. Don't waste your money.

Good Financial Calc with Easy Calc Options. I like the calculator, especially the Easy Mode which presents a good format for those not used to calc'ing IRR, NPV etc. I do find that the CE, 0, , +/- buttons are too close to the Bottom Icon Buttons and I find myself going into Easy Mode when trying to press the 0 button. The on-line video tutorials are good although a few have poor sound. More Easy Modes please and prehaps abit more room between the Icon buttons and the bottom row on the calculator.

Why. The app appears to work okay, but I need to use the help function and this directs me out to an adult dating site. Why?

Excellent program!. I'm using lot of PV and cash flow calculations - this program offers excellent return on investment). Very powerful and easy to use. Much better to work with than Texas financial calculator. The only drawbacks are some cumbersome menues in easy mode but comparing it to calculator it's nothing. Thanks!

Nice calculator for investments and loans. The features are good...backspace key, power key (y to the x), TVM keys familiar to HP calculator fans. Fast operations. Easy on the eyes. I appreciate the non-ugly icon, unlike those eyesore so many competing apps in this space have. There is personal support from the developer freely available, which I haven't used, but it's there. Joaquin cares.

Very good for the price. The 1.2 version needed some work, but the 1.3 version is quite good, especially for the price. The graphics are not super polished but the calculator seems to work well - and it does Canadian mortgage calculations (i.e. semi-annual compounding) which few of the other financial calcs do. Looking forward to future updates. Keep up the good work.

F. Where is the function Comp?

unreliable. Well I use fin calculators for present values, future values and pmt most of the time. I realized that the future value I was trying to get was way off compared to a purchased calculator or even Excel. if you can't rely on it, it is not worth much.

End and Bgn reversed. You made END and BGN modes reversed. Could you fix it?

Updated. I updated it and the resolution is really bad.

Doesn't rotate on iPad. Disappointing. Resolution is OK but display DOES NOT rotate when you turn your iPad. Also % function is not consistent between functions. Needs an upgrade or don't buy it.

Okay, where's the amortization function. The buttons are tiny, and sometimes unresponsive. I couldn't figure out how to use the amortization function. Get the 10BII. Much better in my opinion.

Poor documentation. If your a financial wiz, maybe this is intuitive. My gripe is the poor documentation--the link out the TI BA-II Plus manual is a pain and does not translate well to this app.

Doesn't work. I should have listened to the negative comments. It doesn't work and I cant get it to compute...

App not stable. Random crashes. It the app was stable, it'd be great.

Confusing. You have to enter your interest rates incorrectly to get it to compute the proper payments - I.e 1.9% as .19 instead of the typical .019. (Converting a percentage to a decimal = X/100)

Great till lately. Was amazing until they updated it...was very clean and quick used it all of the time as a financial advisor...don't know what happened. Looks and runs poorly now

Poor update. Was fine. Now it's unstable and the fields are formatted too small to fit answers.

Calc gives wrong solutions. When calculating the YTM on a bond, the calculator provided the wrong result. I even gave it the same inputs as the BA 2 application and the results were wrong. I want my money back.

Naw. Needed something quick & easy for an exam- This is not very intuitive. Even the Easy Mode is not easy to use.

Worst update EVER!. The resolution, both iPad and iPhone, is worse than Atari from the '80's. This is the worst update of any app in the history of app's. If Zero Stars was an option that is what I would rate the update. Fix it.

Enduser. New update takes too long to load. Symbols font and size is too small to read. This ap just took a step backwards for users.
