Horrible !!!. It worked great for the first week. Then I stopped receiving notifications. Figured out that quiet time was enabled. So disabled it. But the app turns it back on. We have gotten 10 earthquakes in the last 2 days and it has not notified me about any of them !!!! Please fix PLEASE !

Great BUT. It's been weeks that this app doesn't load recent data or won't load any data at all. Great idea for an app if it worked. Please fix the bugs already. I'm still using my other free earthquake apps, come on guys

Some organization needed in reports. Needs a method of being able to summarize earthquakes for a specific locality, arranged by descending time (most recent first), slowing location, magnitude, and depth

Great app!. These days everyone wants to stay up-to-date on what is happening in the world, and earthquakes and tsunamis are certainly a part of that. This is by far the best earthquake (and tsunami) app on the market, for several reasons: - it collects data from several reporting agencies (not just USGS!), so you get much more complete (including international) information. - it is customizable for what you want to see/be notified about. For instance, I only have it send me push notifications for anything over a 5.5 quake. - it is highly intuitive to use. Easy and quick to read and gather info. - the developers seem to have excellent customer service and are always adding features. I've tried some of the other apps and this one is by far the best. I highly recommend it.

Notifications. I don’t receive the notifications of any earthquakes on my location

Interesting information that doesn't come with "talking heads" to explain it. Living on the "ring of fire"' (Oregon), as does a close friend in Japan, the timely information is important to me. I also like to monitor the world-wide event patterns--location and frequency.

Back to 5 stars. The best earthquake app on the App Store and my favorite. Back to 5 stars after a technical issue that was quickly resolved.

Solid app. Overall, this is one of the better geology apps. The instant user data input (I.e. twitter, Facebook, etc.) gives you a very quick "on the ground" perspective of an event. Make sure to set your preferences, as there is a ton of data that pours in on a constant basis. It can be a little overwhelming if you don't set your location, magnitude settings, etc. however it's very easy to navigate through. All in all, great app for keeping up on the latest seismic activity worldwide and in your own community. Definitely recommend.

Great source of info for those that live in earthquake prone areas. Great app at what it does: notify what happened, where it happened, with what intensity and according to what agency.

Great App. I've had this app for several years; it's one of my favorites. Living in California (on the San Andreas fault) I'm always aware of our earthquake potential so this app keeps me up to date. There have been dozens of earthquakes in the Solomon Islands the last 2 days, most 4.5 and over, up to 7.5. I don't know why this is not reported on the news. It seems significant to me.

Earthquake App. Eh. Doesn't do much other free apps (or the USGS website) doesn't already do. Crashed when I updated. Distance search is nice, but not worth $2.

Great app to have. I had no idea the Earth shook as much as it does. Every day, all day. I have mine set to list quakes higher than 5.0, and it's almost scary that there's a long list of those. I like the tsunami reports, the mapping, and seeing tweets from the affected areas. Real time is a plus. Faster than CNN.

The free one is better. The FREE version of this app is WAY better-the payed version of the app freezes up on me-and I've got iPhone 4-don't know WHAT the deal is-and I can't get a world wide display of the earthquakes-it just freezes up-so I the payed app 2 thumbs down-the free app version is the only one I use-

The Best App. The best Earthquake app out there. I had a problem with crashing but the company was quick with a solution. I own the other apps and this one is the best. Lots of information. Great interface.

Excellent ap. Really helps take the guesswork out of earthquakes. Kind of freaky seeing how many there are every day! We live on the California coast. For us, tsunami warnings are critical.

Poor App. Just bought it a few minutes ago. I am unable to find local earthquake information that ocurred an hour ago 4 miles from my current location. I want my money back.

Best quake app!. I previously reviewed this and my only complaint was not having a "local" notification setting of smaller (smaller than the 5.0 minimum notification) quakes. THEY ADDED THAT FEATURE!! Works great! I've tried a bunch of different apps and this is the beat one that I've tried. My only complaint is the new banner color (salmon) which is pretty darn ugly. Other than that great update!

Oops...please fix. The latest version crashes but it was a very helpful app before that. Living in earthquake country it was nice to know if the shaking was an earthquake and where it occurred.

Good app. With all of the fears of Fracking causing earthquakes, this app is very good for keeping you updated for up to date information on specific areas. Even Irving TX!

Great app could use a few things. I have been using this app for a while now and I like it, I only wish when you tweeted the info out there it would show the people who click on your tweet where the earthquake was, instead of leading them to the page to buy the app! Maybe it could do both!

Notifications aren't coming. Would love it if I was actually notified when a quake strikes. Have tried changing the settings around and nothing. I want my money back.

Fantastic!. Love the user interface! It makes it super easy to look up earthquake worldwide. I used to always go to the USGS but it was cumbersome to sort through the info. Now I have USGS plus all the other worldwide reporting agencies.

Earthquake App. Accurate, fast, efficient 24/7!

Notifications. I downloaded this app some years ago (shortly after the US East Coast quake) and was notified pretty regularly about tremors world wide. However quite some time ago, (maybe a year or so) the app went silent. That is until today (Aug 30, 2016)!!! I am hoping these notices continue as it is interesting to see how active our planet is.

Best earthquake app. I've checked most of them out. You won't find one as good as this one. One improvement: add an option for for retaining earthquakes longer than one day and shorter than a week for those of us who can't check it every day.

Crashes!!. It was a good app until the latest update. Now it will not even open. Do these developers try their apps on an iPad before they submit it? Emailed help 3 days ago. Still waiting for an answer!

Best Ever. I live in earthquake country so I check it every day to see what's shaking around me. I always learn something interesting. Especially useful when you feel a little shake to find out if it's a small one close or a big one further away.

New update. Update is not letting me choose Tokyo as the current location when I turn off the "current location" Chicago. Please advise or correct!

Around the world. I have this set to 5 or nice earthquakes around the world, and it's astonishing how many there have been lately in the ring of the Pacific. Makes me get ready for the big one.

This app is great but.... Glad to see updates still being for this app app. So first off this app is awesome. but it needs some improvements. For starters iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support would be great. As well as future support for IOS 9 and Metal when they are released.

Great APP!. I have used this APP for several years and find very informative. I have never had a problem with It and always receive alerts!

Does not work as advertised but other than that it is a fair app.. Does not work as advertised but other than that it is a fair app. The sliding mileage option that is available for informing you where an earthquake occurred within a configurable distance from a center point does not work. The notification level based on setting magnitude does work but my interest is only the Alaska area, not other places on the planet such as Chili. The company was very fast to respond to my inquiry on how to make this work. The response was that it is in plan for a future release. As it is, it is a fine app, just not what was advertised.

Outstanding App ! Check it daily. Works quickly, is accurate. Have others and am always looking but none is better. Easy to use, provides all desires info quickly with no extraneous clutter. Notifications are just what is needed. One of the most used best apps I have.

Needs some fine tuning. It is a great app but I would like to see: 1. Tsunami Alert, tsunamis and earthquakes are fairly related. 2. Have the world map loop in a circle. If you live on the boundary of the map, the constant scrolling back for forth is senseless. 3. Better controls on the alerts. Being woken up at 2am because there was a 5.0 in Antarctica - priceless 4. Twitter and Facebook? No comment Would I purchase this app again? Meh!

Great app!. I like being able to see when earthquakes occur and often use the map view, which offers a bigger picture overall of seismic activity around the globe. When we have a quake, it is easy to check the preliminary magnitude. Very nice app!

earthquake. Apps was working fine until I did an update...now I cannot pull up apps! What happened????

I really with there were "no earthquakes available" (>_<). Used to work great - now I don't get any data. I still get notifications "there was a 5.6 in X" but then when I click into the app, the Map view AND List view are completely empty. Please FIX.... or let me know what to to do to FIX. As of now, useless. I'll change my review is it gets sorted: the data comes back! :)

Take long to update. It takes several minutes for update, I thought it was real time, when I feel the shake in Mexico, the info appears almost 10-15 minutes later

Outstanding. Te only gripe I have is that the map doesn't scroll completely around, it has an "edge" and from there you have to back up to the other edge.

Most impressed with level of service. Definitely recommend this app and have been using it for over 6 months. Could make SMS alert at 6.0 or have option to set limit and search a location eg Australia. So I could search how strong and previous quakes. Awesome. 2012,s coming....

Excellent app. I dl this at after being in the Christchurch earthquake and it's been useful ever since. I knew about the japan earthquake within minutes but had no idea how significant it was until I saw the images on tv. One improvement would be to set the magnitude of earthquakes for push notifications. Currently set at 5. Would I be pushing it to ask for a time series animation :). Well done!

Excellent. A really user friendly useful app. The only improvement I would like to see is for the map to be able to rotate through longitude 180 as the discontinuity is frustrating when viewing events either side of longitude 180.

Not up to scratch in the pacific region. I get an earthquake alert and click it and all that is shown is a page of sea with an icon In the centre. The strength is shown on the alert and on the list and I'm told it's (eg) Vanuatu. No other useful info. No tsunami data or threat evaluation.

Franko. I can't change alarms or sound that informs me when an earthquake on my IPhone 4S and can't set sunami alert don't understand how to set alarm system and what to do when in another country using there sim to save costs on roaming thankyou

Much Needed Updates For This Earthquake APP. Time will tell how well your recent APP updates work. The fact you stated you listened to your customers' is very encouraging. I appreciate your additions an stated improvements. We are all depending on accurate information in a timely fashion, world wide. I hope that you will continue to improve this APP.

One of my daily use apps. Good app and very reliable. Let's me keep tabs on earthquake activity on the West Coast where my family is.

Don't bother if you live in Canada. Apparently though this program is supposed to do worldwide earthquakes, the manufacturer has decided canada isn't part of the world! I NEVER would have purchased this if I knew they weren't being honest about supporting WORLDWIDE reports. They are misleading and now when you go into the program to shrink to see the other places in the world that they do allow to be part of the world, the program freezes cocmpletely. I would love to get my money back as this was FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!!

I like this app, mostly. I am pleased with the updates you have made for your app. Living on the west coast of Canada we have a lot of quakes and I find reassurance in the timely information you provide. My one complaint is your colour scheme. I find the yellow background drab and the yellow you use indicating the strength of the quake(s) blend into the background, leaving me squinting to discern the information you are providing.

I hate this. I would rate this better but it is showing me earthquakes from March and not from April that is a big bug.

Earthquake Review. I've had this app for over a couple of years. I also have 2 other earthquake apps. This one works the best. It sends alerts when earthquakes and tsunamis occur. I am quite pleased with its performance. One of the most useful apps I have. I have waterfront property in Hawaii - very susceptible to tsunamis, and live on Vancouver island - over due for a mega thrust quake that will also produce a large tsunami. Essential to have this app, as it notifies earlier than local authorities, could save your life. I also like how the app will display a map showing where the earthquake occurred, as well as the tsunami warnings.

Earthquake West Coast Canada. This is the most reliable app that I have. Glad to have it. We do not have sirens where we live (Victoria,BC)

Canada. Please add Canada, 5 stars otherwise.

Biggest draw back. The biggest drawback is that you cannot filter push notifications very well. It is either 999km away or everything. I would like to know about smaller ones closer by me and larger ones further away. If it had more push filter options it would actually be a decent app.

Good App. Good app to have informations of different geological survey but need more flexibility for notification settings.

Not bad. I've been trying few earthquake apps since my parents live in Japan I needed the app gives me right push notifications and this one works best for me so far. Few things bugs me are I want to see the details and location of the hit when I touch the notice. Not my current location! One other thing is I want the sound of notification to be changeable so it stands out from other apps. Looking forward to see an update!

I found program works fine. I am over at Vancouver Island and found the program works great..It has Canada on the Map..Not sure what the other user is talking about! I thionk it is a grett APP

Annoying notifications. This could be a really nice and more useful app except that you can't customize the notifications. As a result you get notifications for every earthquake of a 5+ intensity from anywhere in the world. That's too much! Also when listing earthquakes by location why can't the order be by most recent occurrence instead of just by intensity?

Very slick!. I've been impressed with the app and as a resident of Southern California I'll keep it around on my phone as long as I'm here.

Excellent!. The developer really cares and listens to users! Every suggestion is listened to and gets implemented, You can control the level of notifications, even set the time intervals that push notifications don't bother you at night, filter events by the 4 agencies and filter duplicates. Really love this application and the excellent support received!

Good but too many notifications !!!!. Please let users choose what kind of notifications they want. 5.0 earthquakes are just too many for the whole world. This is a ultimatum, if by march 15 you haven't taken action you will be deleted. You are the only developers who seem not to listen to users.

Works as advertised.. Good App, works well and you can change the level of quake for notification. I would say if your are interested in when quakes are going on, this is a good app.
