Great job. App works wonderfully!! It blocks all unwanted content with no internet slow down. The only downside is that you need to upgrade otherwise after so many hours your internet browser becomes completely blocked. However, it may be with it if you are looking for change in your life. Extremely helpful and may be the best app out there to block unwanted content without feeling the annoying restrictions that Apple provides for your device. I would 100% recommend it!

Great Help!. I am really happy for finding this app. Porn addiction has been something that has been making me depressed and just negative overall for years. With so many relapses I decided to actually block the websites this time and not only use will power alone. Only thing was that most blockers were not usable without a fee which I could not pay so I am very grateful to the developers who allowed a free access to purge and I hope I will change to be a better person in the future!

Very effective. I have been trying to quit pornography for years and no matter how hard I would try I would fall back into it. This blocker is the best and blocks all of the sites and ads without me even having to input anything Thank you guys so much for making this app. Porn is so detrimental to society and is the cause for so many of our problems. Almost the best purity app ever. But.... This is the only app to block image search on other browsers such as Mozilla and duck duck go which would have made it the best purity app ever. BUT the firewall shuts off by itself pretty much every day. So you need to keep going back to your hidden password to sign on and turn it back on. Now it won’t even let me turn it on. The button is just completely unresponsive. I wrote to customer support but they never wrote me back. Such a terrible waste of hope.

Pro might be the fix. This app seems to work very well ...but only in the beginning. I’m not sure if it’s my fault or the phone setting or what but the app seems to stop the phone from connecting to the internet completely. I wasn’t able to get Lowe’s or Home Depot app to even open. I’m hoping to try the pro version and maybe that will be the fix.

So far, so good. It works as advertised. Searchers only return vanilla results with nothing explicit. Any attempt to go further is blocked and shut down. Doesn’t seem to matter which browser. I have tried a chrome Browser on the iPhone and it is shut down there as well. Best of all, this comes across as a family friendly technology on your credit card so it makes it easier for my sanity.

Porn blocker. Seems to work well. I have not had any bad sites pop up on Facebook etc

Private Tab. The app does not seem to block on private tabs. It was easy to access on a private tab. Please share that up so that way we can’t access it that way.

Great value. I have been trying to find quality porn blockers, like BrainBuddy and CovenantEyes but every one of those are expensive. This gets the job done- is simple AND it goes across all browsers, and even works in private browsing. I will gladly update to the pro version.

Great app. A free app that blocks trackers AND pornography? Amazing. Blocks anything that could have pornography in it such as Reddit as well. It can also block gambling websites if you’re struggling with that. Truly a great app.

Was working great. Had the pro version and it worked fine. However today it is acting like I don’t have pro and keeps asking me to upgrade and I couldn’t open any apps because of this. I had to delete the app to even access the App Store to get here. Was working fine and was happy but now something has happened and I am not satisfied.

Best option. This is the best blocker mainly because if you are broke like me you can use it for free although I would highly recommend going to premium and I just wanted to say thanks to the guys who developed it you are life savers god bless

Works as Expected. It’s pretty much works as it is described, it omits nudity and porn still pretty risqué images pop up... but no naked images or video. I’m happy with my purchase for the price is very reasonable.

Awesome VPN Firewall app. So far the this app has been a wonderful tool and it hasn’t cost me anything to use it. It blocks the sites I’m trying to avoid through urges perfectly and has flexible options to avoid blocking everything to achieve that goal. I would recommend the app and getting the pro version it is cheap and supports the developers for making a simple awesome tool at a low price.

Good app. This app does exactly what you need it to do without interfering with anything else on your phone (ex. You can still delete viewing history on safari) it was super easy to use tabs love that I can put it on multiple devices!

I want to like it but…. this app is kinda buggy. First of all, the on/off button doesn’t work. I press it and it doesn’t activate or deactivate UNLESS I exit out the app and go back in. Then, it also doesn’t seem to work on apps. I downloaded a hookup app and was able to use it to its fullest. But it does block everything else. EDIT: Tried it again. Now it’s blocking apps like Reddit and even the App Store, even when I switch to a dns that’s supposed to allow these things. Extremely irritating…

Starts out great.... ... but after a few days it just bounces the network connection back and forth between WiFi and LTE, I think with some sort of issue with the VPN staying up. Tried more than one different DNS site. Makes your phone unusable when it gets to this point. End up having to reinstall to get back working for another few days.

Pretty solid app. So far this app does exactly what I need it to without all of the extras. No ads or annoying pop ups to deal with either. Very simple, straightforward and easy to navigate. Interface is user friendly and the passcode is a huge help. Look forward to seeing how much more it can do!

Does exactly what it says it does. It filters out NSFW material and blocks ads on both Safari and third party browsers. Restricts YT content too. They require you to upgrade to PRO after only a few hours, but it's well worth the money

Much better!. I’m trying to get off of a porn addiction, and this app used to not block the specific websites I put in, but now it does! I wrote a review before about how when I put in a websites URL, it still wouldn’t block it, but they clearly fixed that! Great app, would recommend for degenerates like me who want to stop their addiction.

The Most Efficient Porn Blocker!. I am currently trying to quit a pornography addiction, and this app is undoubtedly one of the best and most efficient! First, it doesn’t ask you for a membership, rather it asks to update your VPN settings and does all the work from there. I’ve blocked a number of sites and, much to my gratitude, they are nowhere to be found upon searching! This app also locks your safe search and doesn’t let you disable it unless you disable the firewall - very good! All in all, I would 100% recommend this app to anyone struggling with a porn addiction, because it, by far, is the most efficient porn blocker you will probably ever see on here!

Works….. kinda. So I don’t need a lot of the pay services and I don’t mean just from this app really from any of the blocking apps. I understand that that’s how app developers make money to continue to maintain their apps or create better products or whatever, but in this instance, I literally just don’t want to be able to go to or view any pornography. This is for myself it’s for my children if they happen to get a hold of my phone, I just don’t want it around me. This app does a good job of that. I am not able to the problem is I can’t even go to a counseling website I’ve been trying to research Christian counselors and it will not let me go to those websites to find them. This is ridiculous. You need to allow your users more. I should be able to say this site was just blocked stop blocking it. It should be a simple as that I’ve tried listing using exact web page addresses, and it does not work. I really want to keep using this but I don’t know if I’m going to be able to.

Great concept but a fatal flaw.. When I first saw this on the App Store I thought it was a godsend. But after installing it and having my wife implement a password. But I quickly found out this apps fatal flaw. within 24 hours of first installing this app it will lock up and leave you almost 0 Internet activity you can't you can't access anything on the Internet not social media and not email absolutely nothing. unless you spend a dollar to upgrade to the pro version so they're giving you this amazing concept and then they are forcing you to either get rid of it or to pay for the upgrade. Add insult injury the description tells us that it needs a password to delete the app. I deleted it without a problem or a password. Fix it!

Exactly what I was looking for. This app is exactly what I was looking for in a firewall/VPN application. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because I would love to see it have the capability of blocking somewhat explicit images across applications as well (such as instagram). I tested this software out, and after playing around with it I found that by enabling blocking of Facebook apps (found in the block list) it even blocked access to explicit sites within Meta’s privately developed browser that is innate to its apps. This is a huge game changer worth the small price tag. If the developers of this app truly read feedback and try to incorporate it into making the app better, please, please, please incorporate the ability to block somewhat explicit (or suggestive) images. I know it may boil down to self control, but I also am aware that unwanted ads on instagram that have suggestive themes based on very little clothing can cause a hang up for some; thus, the suggestion. Otherwise, keep up the amazing work!

Seems great. This app seems to do exactly what I would hope for. It does a fantastic job blocking unwanted content across all apps. The only issue is that after a few hours it will block all access to the internet until you pay for the pro version. The app itself offers a free upgrade if you leave a review - I'll find out soon if this is true. Note that the app can be deleted unless you set the restriction settings on the phone to prevent the user from deleting apps. **UPDATE** My app was upgraded to pro after writing this review. I assume this is a limited time offer, but it's very much appreciated. Filter works like a charm!

Perfect!. This app is very very great! When I connected it and I went on google to see if it works and it did! I typed in "p.ornhub" and that came was stuff about preventing p.orn addiction! 10/10 would keep for life! This will keep people who need help and children away from that nasty stuff. It s what I need but it could be better. I love how it’s able to filter out porn websites. It’s really useful for quitting porn. But the app is way too easy to delete. And I found myself in a relapse. If possible, can you make it hard to delete the app. Do that and it’ll be an automatic 5 star

One glitch. App works great and is by far one of the best of its kind. BUT. This app uses a vpn and as long as you have another vpn configuration or even a junk one you can switch to it so your phone no longer uses “purge”. Additionally the app can be turned off in settings by turning off “connect on demand” and then turning off your devices vpn capability.

The best porn-blocker I have ever used. this app is awesome. I found it in a vietnamese blog and be impressed by its productivity. I think the developers should add some more features and do some more advertising campaigns so it would be more widely known by ios user. Warning Needs VPN Password Lock. This is an amazing app, but DO NOT BUY, not until you can lock the VPN with a passcode. All you have do is click reset on the network settings on your iPhone and the VPN is disconnected. If the developer fixes this it would be worth an easy $30-40 for purchase. Not kidding, this app works great it they fix this one thing otherwise it is really a useless app giving you a false sense of security. :( Please fix! :)

Good. Its a great app but sometimes after a while it starts disconnecting and connecting automatically till i have to reinstall again than after a while it starts doing same thing again

So far so good. I downloaded this for my partner and so far so good. You create a passcode and your click ‘connect’. Only bug I’m facing is when I click ‘disconnect’, it does disconnect but it doesn’t change the button to the words ‘connect’ again, it just stays as ‘disconnect’. Only way to see if you’ve disconnected is if you go into your web browser and try to look up exclusive content and see if it shows up or not. If it does then it’s ‘disconnected’ If it doesn’t then it’s ‘connected’

Take your power back and download this app. Then turn it on and create a passcode for it that you will forget. Then close the app for good, and let it do its magic. Then go to the settings of your phone, in general, and then in restrictions, and turn off delete apps. This will mean that you can't delete the app even if you really wanted to. So now you can't open the app because you can't remember the passcode and you can't delete the app because you've placed an iPhone app restriction on yourself. Are you disempowering yourself by limiting what you can view in your iPhone browser? No you are not. Why? Because you are choosing not to view it. If you haven't already experienced the disastrous effects of porn on your health, your energy levels, your perception of women, your mental state, and your relationships in general then perhaps you aren't ready to use this app just yet. They removed my YouTube video. Purge removed my YouTube video were I was preaching about the bible??? I had to delete the app so my video could be visible.

I purchased the premium version through the app, and did not receive any of the benefits of it. So I tried to reach out to support and I still haven’t heard anything back from them at all. Great filtering of adult content, but needs more filtering.. As a Christian young man who is trying to fight bad web habits, I can say confidently that this app does a great job filtering adult content! Not just that, it is so helpful that it keeps search engine results from showing links to adult content, blocks questionable YouTube content and works seamlessly with other browsers (including the ever dangerous Facebook, Twitter and Instagram browsers)! So thankful to the LORD for this app! However, the content filtering is not strong enough in my opinion. Among the struggles of many men is looking at girls in bikinis, and it can be used to destroy the purity of many men (including myself). One of the many problems with this app is the fact you can search up girls in bikinis with considerable ease - you can literally use the search term “bikini” to find millions of pictures of scantly clad women. I do not want to have my children able to look at such things with such easy access. The app is fantastic, and I would go as far to say it is a Godsend. But the filtering needs to be stronger, and needs to crack down on certain search fields.

Very simple and easily bypassed. Just switch your vpn in settings and this app is disabled in less than a second. Another lunch bag let down .

Amazing!. One of the only apps like this that is free. It works surprisingly well too! I can finally search without getting inappropriate art! One problem I have though, is that when I changed it to exclude YouTube (I still wanted to read comments), for some reason it wouldn’t connect to the internet.

Blocked nothing. Terrible app. Doesn’t block anything and I tested it 3 times. Terrible. If you’re serious, you will stay away from this one. Also expected to be blown away by the effort put into the app. It’s simple and doesn’t do what it says, which seems very lazy

VPN?. Finally blocks twitter if you add to blacklist which is now an option! The symbol for VPN no longer shows atop phone screen, not sure why when it asks for permission to change VPNs?

Breaks the internet after a while. I am a premium subscriber. The service works great for a while…but after a couple hours the internet stops working (even if you’ve already paid)

Brave browser support. Really should look into supporting brave browser it’s a fast growing browser. If you don’t use brave browser it is a good app but it leaves something to be desired

Blocks all browsers. Now all porn blockers stop access to somethings that aren’t porn. But this isn’t really a bad thing. The best part about Purge is that it works on goggle, safari, and Firefox. It also blocks any portion of another app that leads you to porn. This app is a must have. I encourage you to get it, and for the developers to continue to improve it.
