App not working when I got my new phone. My app won’t allow me to log on since getting my new phone. I do have an older version but it worked great for me. When I try to log on it tells me I purchased from the App Store and need to “restore” from there. There is no option to “restore” from the App Store. Looks like I’m out $40.

Saved me. Saved me as a nursing student from struggling with the actual book in the departments when my assignment was discharged and have a new pt. Thank you!

Dump The Zero & Go With The Hero. My fav med reference guide. I especially like the “ACTION” portion of the med references, gives me a little A&P refresher. Much better guide than Micromedex.

My staple and the apps doesn’t disappoint. Davis Drug Guide has never disappointed it’s a staple and has been, even if I don’t rely on its something I need to have on me, good for updates and refreshers, and just has been with me in text and now app forms throughout my career, undergraduate program, and I know will be in graduate school. The app doesn’t disappoint, it’s needed in an RNs pocket

A Nursing student’s best friend. My pharm class began about 1 month ago and I was leaning towards buying the book but this app is incredibly convenient and tailored to help you provide safe nursing care. So worth it!

Awesome!!!. Download and pay for this! It’s a one year subscription! Extremely helpful not only for nursing students but overall in my career!!! You can cancel at anytime but I will definitely be renewing it! Super helpful for clinicals and in general use!!! Thank you!!!

Love this!. I absolutely love this app! I’m in nursing school and having all the meds and updated meds right on my phone is super helpful. I have used this for class and in clinical. It gives so much information! I’m keeping this even when I become a nurse because it’s a great resource!

RN. Missing every medication that I have looked for. What happened to Davis Drug Guide? I want my money back!

Easy to navigate. Always a trusted and simple to use pharmacopeia.

Must have for travel RN. Going from hospital to hospital means using lexicomp, micromedex, ect. This drug guide is to the point and makes it easy to look up your drugs on the go. It’s well worth the money to have this in your pocket.

Love my Drug guide. All I can say is it’s easy to use and less frustrating than the book

Nursing student told my classmates. So I purchased this with good faith from nursing students that I knew previously. As soon as I purchased it I was hoping to use it for papers and clinicals. Just to find out that I can even use the app this is very unfortunate I just want my money back or I want the app fixed if you can please get back to me a soon as possible I would greatly appreciate it if not I will go to my financial institution and debate this falsely advertised app.

Love this app. I am a home health RN and pull this app up a lot for my own education and to further educate my patients. Great information and easy to use.

Maya, LVN. I’m a nurse and nursing student and this app is amazing. I’ll continue to pay for this as long as I am in the medical field. Best money I have spent for a study tool thus far.

Worth the cost!. I’ve been using this app for nursing school and am so impressed with it! Very easy to search...organized...a lot of relevant content. Hands down a great purchase.

Very helpful. I like this drug book because of the important information is available easily on my iPhone.

Drug app. This app is easy and convent to use. Update alerts! Highly recommend.

Just downloaded. I have an iPhone and downloaded this app to it. Gave it one star only because I had to give it a star. The app is stuck on a loading screen and will not advance. This is a free trial and I’m not impressed. I have the same book, but with a different app developer and have never had issues. I wanted to try this so I could have access to the website too. The app is useless!

Love it. I've had the Davis Drug Guide on my Iphon for over a year now, and I use it almost daily. It's wonderful and I recommend it for anyone in the medical field.

App won’t open. I have relied on this drug guide frequently as a reference. I am a flight paramedic and this app has been helpful because it does not require the internet to function. There have been 3 recent occasions that I needed this reference to help care for my patients and the app would not open. I am very disappointed!

Good for nurses and prescribers. I first got this app as a floor nurse and now use it as an NP. It doesn’t always have all the tablet doses or all the guidance I need for prescribing but it has a very easy format, is a quick reference for finding side effects by body system, and lots of good education pointers. It also has onset, duration, and peek times which a is sometimes very helpful. It also has many common herbs used by patients that have med interactions.

Great for nurses. I'm within my first year as an RN and I frequently use this app to learn more about medications. The information is succinct and to the point and so much more convenient than having to search online. 5 stars from this guy!

Worth the money. I purchased this app for $40 and now when my operating system with apple just updated, the app quit working. The developers told me that they are not going to be updating the app and the only solution is for me to purchase the app again. No thank you. So unless you want to keep buying this whenever your OS updates, don’t get it. *UPDATE* Customer service gave me a very easy fix. I am so happy because I really love this app. I’m a nurse and use it frequently. Highly recommend.

Good information but not all drugs available. Good information but it is not comprehensive. There are more thorough drug book apps that are available. Also, this automatically renewed and charged me without my consent.

Always helpful, handy and accesible. Used this app since I was in my nursing school (2013), now still using it even I am already working in the floor. I so love it, that is why when I can no longer access my subscriptions because of IOS issue, I wrote to them and they are very helpful. Now I am using the new version and so far it is excellent! Highly recommend to all!

Great app. I had the old version of the drug guide which didn’t work with the new iOS. I received instructions from this company on how to download the latest version that would immediately, and they resolved the issue in less than 24 hours. This is a great app. I’m a nurse and I love to be able to check unfamiliar meds and potential side effects quickly. This is my go-to app at work and very user friendly. Highly recommend it!

For pharmacist also!. This application is a nice, quick reference that works great for pharmacists. It gives detailed information, more than enough for Retail Pharmacy. And it’s reasonably priced.

Great for nursing students!. This app is great for nursing students! It’s a must have even if it’s not recommended by your nursing program. I have found it extremely beneficial to have right in my pocket at clinical, completing homework, and hopefully one day accepting a RN position as a new grad. All adverse reactions that are life threatening are in red and capitalized, all adverse reactions that are common with a certain drug are underlined. It has been a great tool for my success, highly recommended!

Easy to use. It has everything in one app, your calculator and all drug info.

A little unhappy.. hope there is a fix. I purchased this app because I recently got hired in the ED. I use it a lot to check medications that I will be giving. I have no complaints at first but then I started getting a lot of pregnant patients, and I realized that this app does not show pregnancy category for drugs. Please have it fixed maybe in the next update? That is really important!!!! Thanks!

From a Nursig student. I have found this app to be really helpful! There are some meds I can’t find, but info mostly seems up to date and thorough.

Worth it!. I’ve had this since I’ve graduated nursing school about 11years ago. It continues to be helpful. Highly recommend it.

Aggravated. This is the second year that I've purchased this, and I continue to find medication's that this source has no record of. Dissatisfied.

Happy now!. Over the weekend I had severe problems activating my subscription. The support staff responded today and it seems all problems are cleared up. Good app!

Great but tooo expensive. Every can be found on the web. Too expensive for a student trying to get through school

Nurse. I wish this app was a little more user friendly, often times I am referencing things on the fly and I need to check details quickly and efficiently. This so is not easy to check details if you do not have spelling exactly correct. I would like to see the search be more predictive or options for phonetic spelling. To show multiple options so confusion would be avoided.

Older versions of Davis Drug Guide can be made iOS 11 compatible. Unbound customer service showed me how to re-download my original 2015 Davis Drug Guide so that I could use it with iOS 11. I was not able to use it after upgrading to iOS 11. “You can re-download the 2015 app by opening the App Store, selecting “Updates,” clicking on the circle in the top-right corner, and then selecting “Purchased.” From this list, you can re-download “Davis’s Drug Guide 2015.” As long as you are logged in with the same Apple ID, iTunes will not charge you twice for applications that have already been purchased.” I first deleted the original Davis Drug Guide app, the re-downloaded the app again using the steps outlined above. Hopefully this will help someone out there having same issue...

Searched several apps and meds - best so far. As stated in the subject area. Will update after several uses.

Great for nursing school!. I’ve used this while in nursing school and I absolutely love it. So handy to have and look up meds.

Easy to use. All the needed info is at your fingertips! Use daily in home health and home infusions!

The best pharmacological book .. I’m and iCU nurse this book helped me so many times thank you .

Must have for nurses!. Love this application. I was given a different drug guide (book) through nursing school. Someone gave me a Davis drug guide (book) at one point and I used it as a primary medication resource throughout my education. The other guide got shelved. As a practicing nurse I use this electronic version often. It’s a brilliant resource. The calculators are handy too! Still holding my breath for an NIH stroke scale calculator though.

Easy to use. Quick on the floor Use categories or just look up It’s good and current

mac app. great app. can we have a app for the mac book UPDATE: after developer response i was able to find it on the mac book!!! search by unbound medicine and it will show up! thanks!

Best Davis app. By far the only FA Davis product worth a darn. It is really worth the price. But with any FA Davis product, make sure it has the codes for online access. Otherwise, you may have to pay extra.

Disappointed. Missing labs sections. It would be nice if there was a recommended labs section instead of or in addition to monitor calcium etc they can also list check CBC, BMP, Dental Screen and frequency. I would pay double for that subscription. Good for students though.

Great field guide. Community Heath Nurse visiting people in their homes. Excellent resource for identification and up to date information, education. Stress reliever- I can have reliable medication answers quickly

RN. I have used Davis Drug Guide for over 25 years as a nursing student and as a nurse now for over the past 23 years.

The only app that’s been with me for years.. Clean user interface, succinct information, and just an overall worthy app. I do wish there’s night mode on here too! I work nights, and the white background hurts the eyes! Lol.

Very nice drug reference. I especially like this reference because you can customize it - drug by drug and then save them in your favorites. Good job.

4 star not complete. The application works well and it has a comprehensive information. Very handy and easy reference at work. I gave it a 4 because some of the medications we use in Australia is not available and sometimes I have to google the US name to know it. Such as acetaminophen is panadol in here. If I can find an ANZ based drug handbook, I would not purchase it. But for now, this will do. This would perfectly works with someone using the US based drugs.

Mss. Very useful app especially when looking for alternative names of unfamiliar drugs. Recommend to all healthcare professionals and anyone with an interest in medications

Psychiatric Nurse. Good resource, easy to use.

Excellent! Efficient!. It is a wonderfully thought out app. It would be nice however to be able to re-order your favourites in the favourites section... Thank you for including the various calculators!

A++++++. Great app!!!

Great resource !. Was skeptical about the price but worth it! Very thorough and in depth!

Overall Great App!. Pretty expensive … but has all medications and super informative! Also helpful for nursing students when completing drugs cards :)

Save your money.. Scant information, poorly organized, spelling errors, limited info on ophthalmic agents... Very disappointed.

Perfect. This is all an RN or nursing student needs as a reference for safely administering medications. I was hesitant about spending so much on an app, but have absolutely no regrets. This reference will make you WANT to look up meds that you're unfamiliar with, making your practice safer and widening your pharmacology knowledge. In seconds you can have all the information that would normally take 5 or 10 minutes to look up... assuming you could find a hard copy of a drug guide on your unit that isn't mangled! This app can go anywhere I need to be and is a widely trusted name in out profession. As a Canadian military RN I could not ask for a more comprehensive bedside reference.

So Helpful on the job!. I am working a nightshift tonight and I have already used Davis' Drug Guide 4 or 5 times. Always new drugs and it does a good job of keeping you up to speed when questions arise

Super handy. One of the first apps I ever purchased when I got my iPhone 3. Love it!

Davis Drug Guide. I bought and paid for the full app of the Davis Drug Guide 12th ed., as I am a nursing instructor in a 4 year BSN program and I use it to assist me and my students in giving medications safely in Term 8 of our nursing program.I chose this app because I used to buy the paperback book of the drug guide yearly and using this app has proven to be a better option for nursing students and instructors to carry in their pockets on an iTouch, iPhone. I enjoy products from Unbound Medicine and hope they develop an app for psychiatric mental health nursing soon to include psychopharmacology for use by nursing faculty and nursing students in future.

Good!. Great source, very handy.

Book code doesn’t work for app. Unable to use my book code for the app but can use it for internet browser… very strange

ED RN. Love it, use it all the time

Excellent resource. I have used this drug guide in the field as a paramedic and as a resource when creating a formulary for my students. I appreciate the IPad and mobile friendly format a great deal.

Student nurse. Is handy to use! Awesome job.

Paramedic. It's a very good data base. Easily accessed

Wow. This app makes nursing school/clinical so much easier. I highly recommend

poor reference. missing many drugs. Missing many drugs (e.g. apraclonidine, deflazacort). Not comprehensive enough to be a good reference for a physician. Unacceptable given that it's one of the most expensive drug reference apps. Worse, there is no feature to add the missing drugs or notify the publisher to add them. I gave it two stars just because it loads fast, but apart from that, other free drug reference apps are more comprehensive and reliable.

Clear, Concise, and Organized. Amazing App! Better than Mosby’s as it is better organized, content is concise, and assessments and pt teaching is included! Very handy for practice!

Drug guide peer reviewed. As a students I can't go to clinical without this. It's quick, easy to look up medication on the spot. Approved by all professors and clinical instructors

After the latest update. Miconazole (topical) doesn't work... Please look into this?

Worth it. Pricey but such a great app for pharmacology or just in the clinical /hospital atmosphere

Easy to use. Easy to use

Deceitful. Offered for free to download only to be forced to pay $40 A YEAR! While other legitimate apps provide the same information for FREE! I do not like being scammed out of my money

A must app. Best resource for nurses

Expired with no notice.. Expired with no notice. I have no access when I really need it. Additionally they're only available during the day and of course I work nights.

Nothing will populate. Tried to search many drugs, and it says ‘no results’ for anything I put in. I have restarted the app several times. My iPad is updated to the latest version, and nothing.

Sucky app. This app does not work unless you pay for it. The free trial is just there to lure you into paying. If you try the free trial, it will not work unless you update your account and then pay. Once you pay it will work. Fake free 30 days trial.

Nursing Student. Great for on the go use for class, day-day needs.

R.N.. Always referring to this app!

Great. This is a better app than Saunders!

App. It doesn’t work

Drug Guide Review. Indispensable! A MUST HAVE

Review. Informative

Nothing is populating. Trash.

Davis’s Drug Guide. Very thorough and educational enhancement.

I made two payments and I want a refund for both payments! I will find another app 🤬. Refund me aAsp

Did not allow opt out for trial subscription. Content owners did not send option to opt out of subscription. WARNING: auto subscribes without signing up for the app. No recourse.

Excellent application. Very concise. Easy to use.

Best Drug Guide. Davis drug has been my mobile brain! God bless its developers. Thank you.

Works great.. I really like how the information is displayed.

Fast. I've been using Davis Drug Guide, print and online for a year, and I've found them very helpful. New drugs like Gilenya show up quickly on the website, and it has pretty complete dosing info and warnings. What I didn't like was the speed; typing into the search bar didn't anticipate what you want like Epocrates does, and you have to wait for pages to load sometimes. So, when it came time to re-up, I gave this app a shot. The search function is exactly what I want, both on iPhone and iPad. There are two separate apps, but one subscription seems to work on both. Each use the strengths of the device they are made for, and are dead simple to use. You can quickly type "lisi" to get to lisinopril, then click an icon that gives you a pop-up that lets you instantly go to, say, dosage information. If this is a commonly encountered medication, you can favorite it to get even quicker access to it. I just got this app, and there are still things I am figuring out. One thing I hope they have considered is an Epocrates-style drug-interaction checker. But if you are a nurse, not a doctor, you need the speed and info this guide provides.

New update. I’ve received the summer 2019 update, BUT cannot use the app! It’s still not functioning after restarting the phone...ugh:(

Re: App. Please cancel.. Please cancel app. Do not like it. Thank you.

Drug guide. Awesome resource

Awesome. This is a good app.

RN. Great App for nurses and nursing students!

Love this app.. Use it all the time at work and home.

Great App 👍🏼. I really enjoyed using the free trial for a month! Had all the info I needed and was very well organized.

Awesome. Very informative.

Thank you. Thank you

Need information prior to purchase. I need to know if this app can be used offline. Cell service is limited in our hospital and I do not want to pay for something I cannot access while seeing patients.

Good, but not for new drugs. I like the format! New drugs people ask about are not usually found even if app is up to date. I use it and other apps for newer drugs.

Love the app. Love this app, straight to the MOA, Ana Side effects. What I love the most is that it highlights the most side effects.

Heavy very expensive subscription. This is the most expensive education app on earth. It is unbelievable that the developers made this app to charge students that have no job heavily for yearly subscription. This is unbelievable and I don’t recommend to students.

Nurse Ale. Awesome app

After paying for renewal, app won’t renew. Not a good app. Their website is more reliable.

Paid $50. Poor support. I purchased a older version for $50. No more support. Poor form. I understand no more updates, but let me keep what I have!

Excellent!. As a nursing student, I find this app incredibly useful and use it at work during med pass at an assisted living facility.

The app doesn’t work. I am not sure what the issue is, but it doesn’t work. I canceled my subscription. It used to work and was helpful at work.

Too expensive. Why do I need to subscribe yearly??

Updates. I it

Great resource. I love the electronic copy because we get updates regularly.

Check Interactions. It would be great if this app offered a way to check drug- drug interactions.

$40 APP!. Did not specify that you have to purchase this app for $40 until you open it. Please list it as a $40 app because that’s what it is.

Jerlup. I love this app

Glitchy app. I am trying to do my school work. The app lets me view the drug but them glitches as I’m looking at the information

Review. A lot of new meds or meds being approved or removed from market aren’t adequate

Very helpful. Love this appv

Davis drug guide review. The Davis Drug Guide is a valuable asset. I love the idea of having information at my fingertips.

Free Trial. I downloaded the free trial it’s due to end in a couple days and I am not able to find a way to cancel the auto subscription before it starts charging me.

Love😍. Use it every shift!
