Just ok. I have another Bible app but wanted a study reference. This one doesn't open back up to where you left off, not even the same book just a random section. Bookmarks won't register and I even tried to delete and reload it multiple times. The notes and references are nice to look into while studying and the many translations help too but that's about all I noticed I liked. Not really enough to make it worth the price though.

Make the best use of your study time. This app makes my study time so much more productive and in church I no longer have to carry my bible my pen and my notebook just carry my iPad! What's more I could never keep up while I made notes in service and then I could never read my notes a day later now because i can type As fast As I write I can spend more time enjoying the sermon and less time trying to keep up and make sure I get the notes readable awesome

Fast, versatile, and flexible loaded with tools!. The touch Bible is my favorite Bible app and the only one I use on my phone. No matter where you are at any time, if you hear a Bible verse, you can pull it up in 5 seconds , counting the time to open the app and hit the search verse option. Impressive!. I've used Touch Bible free for several months; I was very impressed & decided to buy it. I like the ability to compare bible versions. The "Extras" feature is awesome. You can choose the READING PLAN; now I can actually read the entire bible since it keeps track of where I left off!! Okay, it'll still take me a year but who's counting. The inline Strongs concordance feature is very helpful. One thing I think would be great to have is an introduction page to each book explaining who, what, where, and when it was written.

Love it but.... I love this Bible app. I have used it since 2012. It did an automatic update a few days ago though and a couple of things I’m not crazy about. I can adjust to all of them but I would like to ask you to change one thing. Would you put a title lock on the name of the book and chapter at the top of the page? It is so easy to lose your place when you have to scroll to the top of the page to see the book and chapter. So much better when you can glance up and see it. I hope this is understandable. Thank you. Thank you so much for fixing this! I am now able again to see at a glance which book and chapter I am in!

No longer have access to language resources.. I have always used this app because of the ease of use regarding language resources. The last time I tried to utilize those resources they were no longer available. Due to the loss of those I have to give this app a one star rating. If those resources are renewed I would change the rating to a five star.

Why are there only 3 reviews?. This app. is fantisic! I especially like the NET translation and I normally only stick to the KJV but the extra notes found along with this translations is such a great help. I have quite a few other bible app. already but I had to upgrade to this paid version inorder to get the full NET bible and I think it's worth it. Thanks alot for making this app. available. Updated review: Thanks for the update but I like the highlight and the ability to attatch notes along side if the given scripture. That feature is so neat! :))))) I haven't seen anything like this before. I erased a negative portion of the review I had previously given this app., because they've address my concerns but I think we'll be needing another update soon because it crashed a few times on me today during service.

Help!. What happened to my favorite Bible app? The new update is horrible. Please return the display functionality of the last version. I tried to reach app support and could not get there. You had a good thing going... now I’m rethinking recommending this app to friends and family, and using it myself.

Needs update to fix a minor issue. This is the best bible app offered by far! One recent issue has occurred. When searching a word and a reference list reaches the prompt to see more results it goes to the no results screen rather than listing the next order of verse references. Please fix this issue! Thank you so much for this app!

Where did it go??. I downloaded another Bible Ap to my iPad and when I opened this app…which is my favorite app, it was blank! All my notes are there but the Bible’s words are gone. It shows a blank page. Please fix this. I read my Bible every morning and have enjoyed this version most of all.

My favorite Bible app. This is my favorite bible app because of its extensive translation notes for the NET bible version. I love reading the bible verses and having instant access to the NET translation notes as I read. It helps me to better understand the original meaning of the text.

Multitasking on Air 1G works poorly. The developer obviously did not test the multitasking feature on an the first generation iPad. Took a star off my previous review for badly implementing iOS 9's multitasking. Controls overlap each other making it very difficult to tough what you intended to. Navigation is sluggish and frequently it gets stuck in thinking mode. Cannot read translation notes as the left and tight areas of the text is cut off and you cannot slide the text left or right.

worth it!. Wow! this thing is amazing! most of the complaints must have not read the provided directions :P its an amazing resource! I have promptly recommended it to all my friends and associates! Reliable and well made! The only thing that could be considerd "wrong" is that it runs a little slow, but considering the amount of content and its file size, its understandable! Worth it!

Being able to view two translations next to each other and having the study notes and Strong's reference is amazing when it comes to better understanding the written word. Nice job. Can't wait if this is created for the iPad. This will make taking notes and navigation on a larger screen that much better.

Touch Bible is an impressive and important work. Dig deeper into the scriptures!. I use the Touch Bible whenever I am searching for scriptures or just reading and studying Gods word. I really appreciate the ability to review in the various biblical texts and having the ability to utilize the concordance is invaluable. It’s very easy to maneuver and pinpoint an exact phrase or even a precise word. The ability to create and store my own “notes” is an awesome feature. This online Bible is by far my favorite way to explore and absorb Gods word, while online, and I would highly recommend getting it.

Best bible app I have found.. Out of all the bible apps I have found this is the one I turn to first and most often. Fast searching and the Strong's concordance. The GUI is clean and easy to navigate. The only thing I would like to see for the future is expandability of versions. I would like the NIV and the amplified versions. I know the would certainly cost extra but I would purchase for this app, not the others. Keep up the good work!

Touch bible. Im not sure whats going on here but the app just got updated and rendered un useable. A different and incomplete bible app.

Many improvements but dial a verse is broken. You've got a bug to fix which I unfortunately didn't discover until church service today. Verses in dial a verse are not working right. It does not display all available verses in a chapter. Turning off and back on fixed for one verse look up only then it was messed up again. Now for what I like. Thanks for expanding highlight colors. And you're the only app I know of that offers audio offline (I use an iPod and wifi is not available where I work). I love how you have made Strong's definitions available and that you can search on the Strong's numbers. Thanks for slowing down the audio! Fix the bug and I'll update my review to 4 stars. Improve the audio voices without sacrificing offline capability (too monotone) and I will give 5 stars.

This app is great !. The app is everything I wanted. I love the multiple view to compare different translations and also love the lexicon. A suggestion I would make Is to somehow make it smoother/faster because the dial-a-verse seems to freeze for a second and doesnt allow smooth scrolling. An easy way to solve this is to change the app so that it doest load the new verse until you hit apply. That should allow for smooth scrolling. Also more bible translations would be nice. I would like the little known isr version. Awesome app 5 stars

Awesome App!!!. This by far the best bible app available! It has updated several times (at no extra cost) making it better each time. The creator of this app not only put a lot of time and thought into creating this app, but does the same in maintaining it. He didn't just make it and ditch it like a lot of other app makers do, looking for a quick buck. In fact, there's a link in the app where you can leave suggestions and feedback to this guy (which I've done more than once), and, to my absolute amazement, he responds right away every time! Keep up the GREAT work, and thank you for the low price! This app is WAY underpriced in my opinion. Thank God for that though (for my sake)! 

The one thing. I’ve used Touch Bible for years and this one has good features but the bookmark button sticks and I had to delete and reinstall the app in order to get it off the page. The other thing I greatly dislike is that you can’t choose another Bible version without the parallel with the NET version Bible. I think this should be advertised so people like me can choose to buy the version of touch Bible that suits us. It would be far greater to be able to choose what versions I would like parallel or if I don’t.

The Free bible works better to me than the one I purchased.. The text shown on this site is The One that my bible always opens to. Searching or selecting a bible, book, verse is spratic at best. I have not been able to see the KJV with text like the Darby bible displays at any time. All I get is the spaced out words with underlines in any other bible that I select from the rolling wheels and that takes a lot of time to do. I searched on the free bible app for "woman's hair" and it gave me the scriptures that I was looking for, but in the purchased version it never found anything at all. For me so far I've gotten nothing but frustration with the purchased bible. I just upgraded it and these items that I mentioned have not changed. It looks good, but I just have not had any success using it and I use a stylus to move around on my iphone too. I'm waiting to hear from the support email for assistance. Let's see how good that it. I'd like to talk to the person who wrote the other review, maybe I just need more instructions on how to operate this app.

It's nice.. I chose this bible app over others due to it's simplicity. Changing books or verses is very easy. The way it's presented may be too futuristic for some, but I love it. I've barely read the bible, but this app is changing that. :)

Complaint's about translations. Yes, this Bible does not have the modern translations. The reason? As far as I can tell this app has the most accurate translations. KJV, YLT and WEBSTER. So no, this app does not have the NIV, or the Message, or the Amplified Bibles. The idea is to have the most accurate translations. Not a paraphrase Bible, or a paraphrased paraphrase. If you want a accurate translation of the Bible, get this app. Compare Romans 8:1 in all of these. The YLT actually has the best translation. So no, I'm not KJV only. The Bible is the most important Book a Christian will ever read. Don't get it wrong. Would you want a pilot on the airplane you were on to read the true flight manual, or the paraphrase?

Love the word lexicons. I truly love the Touch Bible app, especially the Hebrew and Greek source words in the King James Version and the notes in the NET version. My only vexation is that I can't lock down the text size and it jumps around on me if my fingers fall on my touch screen the wrong way.

My Go To Bible. With touch Bible I have my Bible with me everywhere. And it’s so easy to use. With 7-8 translations plus Strongs, it meets all my daily study needs. I also use a couple of other Bible study tools for deeper studies using multiple reference works, but even when I do they are sitting alongside Touch Bible. My only request would be to add NIV and ESV to the Bibles already available.

Highly impressed. I've long been frustrated with most translations and my curiosity demanded more information about the translation options, context, study points, and I wanted to read informative comments that might actually avoid theological agendas. This app puts more elements together than I thought possible and in an easy to use format. And searching, searching is great. I tried the lite version 1st, I was pleased to upgrade. As the bible is so central to our culture I suggest that with all the tools this app includes, it is probably one of the most valuable references to include on anyone's iPad. The New English translation, which I was unfamiliar with, is remarkably thought out and fresh; the notes provide many points of view and considerations- and in my mind a lot of clarity. I cannot imagine reading/studying the bible in any other way. I recommend this app for anyone researching questions or wanting a tool that assists a more comprehensive study. I'm not sure which group I'm in. Either is exciting and I never thought I'd say that. I appreciate the effort and enthusiasm it took to develop this app. Thanks.

Excellent. This is just what i have been looking for. I couldn’t get them in free Bible Apps. I work in a company where you can’t touch your phone. You can touch your watch and have a headphone on. So I was looking for a bible App that I can start on my apple watch and listen to, while at work, without touching my phone. This is exactly what I need. I can pick the Book i want to listen to, and it has different versions. I can listen to it without touching my phone. Thank you for this app. very good work.

powerful one-two punch. This is a great program especially with the full NET Bible's notes coupled with the KJV Strongs running in a split screen mode. It is a powerhouse of resource seen at once. When looking up verses just remember to hit 'apply' so the program wont revert back to a previous verse you no longer want.

Strongs is great. I am so glad that I can read the King James Version and look up the words with Strong’s with just a touch of the finger. This is the app I use for my reading through the Bible in one year.

New to Touch Bible. I have been very impressed with the texts available. A particularly like the NET version and the ability to access the comprehensive translators note.

Love this app!. This is one of my favorite apps. I have had this app for a while and still use it. It is a great resource. It is more than just a bible on my iPad and iPhone, it is a bible-study resource. It makes my study time more efficient. I have contacted the developer about enhancements I would like to see in future updates and got a speedy response with promising hope that such desired features may eventually become a reality. Can't ask for more than that. Support this app and its developer! Even the cheaper and free versions are great, but this version provides the most bang for the buck. Totally worth the $5 it costs.

Paid or free, they are both great... I have both the free, and bought the app.. The free one is great but the paid app has so much more.. Either or it's food for the soul.. I love everything the paid app comes with.. God Bless us all.. Amen..

Still Awkward. When writing notes, the cursor is not seen. My IPad Air never has this problem, except with this app. I thought the loaded version would fix this, but no. So if you plan on writing a lot of notes, I don't recommend this program. The lookup scripture by keyword is still very clumsy. Much faster just to go to a concordance. Suggestion: instead of just narrowing by OT or NT, how about by book, perhaps default to the book you have open at the time? As far as modern versions go, people should contact the copyright owners of NIV, for example, and ask them as to why their version is not included. ....

DISAPPOINTING. The ONLY REASON for this "update" is to get in the game with apple WATCH (and NOT for existing, loyal users who have asked for changes). Until now, the most "recent" update was in 2013!! And yes, we still have to use the internet for other Bible translations because it STILL DOES NOT INCLUDE common translations such as NIV, NASB, ESV and NLT. And the "Dial-a-Verse" is NOT fast – it is ARCHAIC and needs to be replaced with a touchpad for books, chapters and verses (like most other Bible apps). I am a long-time user, and there are some benefits of this app. But if you need to be included in the apple watch to stay current and for profit, just say so. Just please do not try to deceive existing and potential users by attempting to make it SEEM as though you have made significant updates for us when it's been 2 YEARS since the last update and you still haven't done something as highly requested (for years!) as include other translations. Disappointing.

Great iBible. I have used the Loaded version for about two months. After a short learning curve I found it to be outstanding. And for this price???? Who can complain? The NET coupled with the KJV with Strongs is a powerful study tool. With so many translations available it is easy to get confused. Buyers need to take their time and read the product description for the app they are buying.

Upgrade terrible!. The TouchBible WAS excellent until yesterday. They completely took out the ability to touch & read the Hebrew & Greek. It disappeared from my iPhone & this new version you pay $9.99 for which I don’t mind paying every so often for IF it was the same- BUT this one is not & you have to pay $9.99 for it anyway. DON’T BUY FIX IT PATRICK FRANKLIN or refund my money

Wonderful Bible app. The latest update fixed all the problems, it's great now. One small bug is if you select a chapter that is a high number then switch to another book that does not have that high of a chapter number all the chaper and verse selection choices go away. This is resolved if you chose another book but it would be nice if this was fixed.

Great Resource. I love this app. I use it a couple times a week to assist with my bible study. I just bought the iPad and am anxious to see how it looks on the bigger screen. I hope it's been or will be optimized for the iPad. If it is, I could see using this everyday and in church. I love the side by side translation and the inline concordance. Frustrated by two malfunctions I can't figure how to fix.. Love having the NET with study notes but am twice frustrated with program otherwise. 1) Why does it insist on defaulting back to WEB everytime I reopen? And why is it impossible to put in bookmark. I click on verse number, it asks do I want to bookmark this and I say yes and it closes but when I check bookmarks I have the same three that came default with the program and which I had already deleted (I thought.) HELP, please and I' ll give this a 5 star rating.

Great version, but.... I am using this bible everyday and love the yellowing and bookmark feature, since I liked to do that in my book version of the Bible. But.. If there was a way to share some of these passages thru e mail or text, it would be wonderful. At least to be able to cut and paste as someone has already mentioned. Is it possible to work on that? Thanks again for this bible. Now I can read my bible anywhere and not feel self conscious that I am trying to appear too "holier than thou" to others around me.

Well done. I use this on split screen with NET so I have all the pop up notes and KJV so I have access to Greek and Strongs. Very elegant interface, especially in night mode. Notes visible in margin is great idea. This app definitely has a place on my Bible library. Font is easily adjustable.

Great resource. I really love this app and go back to it again and again after trying something different. The study notes and translation notes are so helpful and the Strong's Concordance information available at a tap is fantastic. I've also found the search feature to be more fruitful than others I have used.

NET replaces KJV + strongs. Have been using app for many years and loved the default KJV with Strongs. Yesterday I open the app to find NET version comes up as default. KJV with Strongs now requires multi-version to display. Is there a way to restore KJV +strongs as default?

Awesome Bible Reference. I love this app! I use it all the time to look up the original word from the Hebrew (OT) or Greek (NT). It has made Bible Study much easier!

Great Potential Here. If the dial-a-verse waited to goto the verse when you touch apply it would be a great benefit. By starting to go there before your entry is compete it slows you down a lot. The entire app is really a bit too slow I think. But there are some great tools here and a lit of potential with the app. I just think it still needs some performance tweaks.

Very Good Bible App. I read the entire Bible with this app which is probably something I wouldn't have done with a regular paper Bible. I loved the pop up text notes that further explained a word or phrase, although abbreviations were used far too much. Abbreviations were developed and used typically to save time, space, or paper. But I question their use in electronic media. There are so many abbreviations in this app that I found myself going back to find out what was being abbreviated. It got to the point of being very annoying. And unnecessary, in my opinion. Please just spell it out. The maps were useless on my iPad. A map would be referenced like Map 1 B2. I could never find B2 and the map jumped all over the place. I still can't figure it out so I've gotten other Bible map apps that I use to get an idea of areas where Jesus or his disciples travelled.

Study or read. This app is very good for studying or reading, easy to find texts and to do word searches. I would like to be able to highlight a word or phrase rather than a whole verse, and it would be good if the text could be seen when notes are written instead of hiding the note to read the verse.

Does what I wanted!!. Love being able to look up the Greek/Hebrew while studying outside of home right on my phone. Not sure why font size changes even within one chapter?? This still has room for improvement but does what I bought it for...

Good Bible app with "cut and paste". When I'm at home I use Bible applications with extensive features, but on the road with my iPone I want something practical that allows me to take notes. The "copy and paste" feature works with this Bible and I can insert verses with my notes in the NoteMaster app. I only wish that the NASB Bible used by most scholars would be included even at a higher price. Thank you Mr. Franklin.

IOS 10 problem. Love this app, but since IOS 10 was installed you cannot save notes at all!

Just needs nkjv. Most usable bible in the store! The translations included leave a bit to be desired though. NKJV would be great for in-app purchase.

Love it like it. I love all the features and this bible is great to reference but I go throughout two bible Apps because the translations available on touch bible are few and not easily understandable. So please nib NLT bible translations please. Other than that I love to look up words in Greek and Hebrew. And use some of the other features.

Not Working. I have this app, I loved it until this last update, now not only can I access it, I lost all of my notes. I will now drop my rating to 1 star. Terrible, I am so disappointed with this last update we should have been told it would no longer work.

Many Bible Apps. There are a ton of bible apps but I have actually found 2, this being one of them that was worth buying.

All of the features not showing. Features such as Text and Study notes are not showing since upgrading to iOS 9. The header has turned white and is difficult to read. I hope this app is upgraded soon. This is a great app and I would like to continue to use it with its full features

The best app I own (and I have dozens). If you have any desire to know the meaning of the words behind the Word, get this Bible app. I use it constantly - more than any other - and it has helped me beyond measure to increase my knowledge and enlarge my prayers.

Red Letter Please. Reading the reviews I thouht this would be a great app. One thing the words of Christ is not in RED LETTER I wish and hope they add this feature!

Verse numbers?. There is no way to copy verse numbers along with the verse. This is my favorite bible app for study on the ipad but this makes it very hard to use. Please update

Great APP. The easy to use concordance makes the purchase. I would rather have a drop down menu for the books of the bible. If it did, I would give it 5 stars.

Red letter edition. I love this bible app. But it would be great if Jesus' words where done in red letter

Does not work with 9.1. Its a great app when it works as it offers an ability to really understand the context of scripture by accessing the original words and their meanings. It does not work with iOS 9.1 and it will not update since October 2015 update. Please fix this app.

Love it.....but. This app is great but I can't seem to find the NIV translation for it. The NET is a very close and very nice and is suitable for my current usage.

Great Bible app. Great for studying the Bible and making your own notes, attaching them to verses. Not commercially motivated like some other Bible apps.

Missing verses.. There are missing verses in the free version and also in the loaded version and when migrating all my notes and bookmarks and Highlights did not migrate to the paid version of this app. please fix

GREAT BIBLE. This is really an excellent study Bible! You can search for words or phrases, cross references. You can bring up different versions at the same time if you want. Lots of extras. I would recommend this to you.

Praise God. First of all, thank you for making this usable with Voice Over. I like that it is so inexpensive. My biggest wish is for the Amplified and NLT translations.

no ESV. The app on the ipod touch advertised that it had the ESV version. It does't. I wouldn't have bought it.

From 5 to 3. I loved this app. I use to be out and I could do a verse study on my I phone, but with this last update, first it did not work, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled, but now my strong's is no longer available. What happened? I hope money is not the root of this issue!

KJV verse repeat. The searchh function works now but the KJV shows every verse twice in reading view.

Best Bible. Thank you for this One suggestion: please add cross-refences. It can be added to verse options under add note to verse. It should then have a similar window to the search function with all the cross references of that verse

Touch Bible Loaded. This was extremely helpful until I had the update which doesn't show any strong wording for the Touch Bible Loaded. Not that helpful any more.

Pretty Good Study Tool. As compared to quickverse and esword for pocketPC it's close. I like the concordance and encyclopedia links right in the text but would love to see some crossreference links like Treasury of Scripture Knowledge or similiar and a topical search. The dial is the best navigational tool I've ever used in a mobile bible program.

Touch Bible Limitations. 1. Cannot adjust to have each verse start on a new line. 2. Cannot customize the layout of the display, it is fixed. 3. Bible Version, when selected, is not memorized, version must be chosen each time the application is used. 4. There is NO HELP with this version of the application. How can a user find help in customizing and using this app?

Great Portable Study Tool!. Many different translations, easy to use verse finders, great search function, adjustable font sizes, easy to use concordance, just so many great features. Maybe we could add the Amplified Version of the Bible as well?

Lost Notes. I 'm sure this is a much better app than the free one, however, in this upgrade I lost all the notes I had in the free version. There should've been some kind of warning or a carry over of my personal data.

Translations. I've used this app from the good ole day of my 1stGen iTouch, love this app. Has a good amount of translations, however I would give 5stars if able to purchase additional versions. Ex: New American Standard Version instead of ASV.

Hard on eyes. I appreciate this developer's work so much, but this version is SO hard to read...hard on the eyes (black on light gray fine grid). The night mode has been downgraded too, with insufficient contrast (white on gray). It hurts my eyes. :( Please fix this! Thanks!

Ipaduser. What happened??? I can't even open the after downloading the update! I used this app all the time and loved it. Please fix it fast!!

Touch Bible. Best value for the money by far. Five translations, Greek and Hebrew lexicons, Strongs concordance and notes! Extremely fast when looking up scriptures during a sermon.

Font doesn't change anymore. Before the recent update, we were able to increase the font size. Now it stays very small, even when you increase the font slider. We also can't touch the iPad and increase the size of the screen.

Would be perfect if could add more bible translations. This is a great app, very easy to use! It would be five stars if we could add more translations to it though. Perhaps the Catholic Douay, Jerusalem, Greek Septuagint etc. Other wise love it.

Pretty good. The first version the searching was terrible. The new update has much improved that. I think it would be very nice if the developer added an option to email a verse. I love the ability to get definitions of Greek and Hebrew words at a click. Very helpful.

Great app. Very user friendly design. I like the built in Strong's concordance. And I like being able to locate any verse with the search function. Very useful and well worth the price.

Touch Bible loaded. Bought this app for the read to you option. Don't care for it at all. It's to fast and almost impossible to read with it. Sounds like they are only saying each word with no breaks. Almost sounds like a robot talking to you. I still like the original version Touch Bible and will keep using that.

Icon is pretty ugly. I like the Bible, although I believe there should be a few improvements, like: more Bible versions such as the Amplified, better interface... And PLEASE change such an ugly icon... I would recomend this Bible thou...
