Great study app. The practice tests are great. They show you the right answers if your wrong. Show you a pass or fail, and it tracks your answer history. Because it tracks your history you can go back and see what sections your not doing well in. Then the app has information available to you so you can go study in the lacking area specifically if you like. If your debating getting the app, just do it. You wont regret it if you’re truly considering it.

Perfect. So far I love this app. I just wish I was more consistent using it! I am learning quite a bit, so right now it’s a 5 star app. Let’s see how I do on my test. Then I will update my rating. Actually I won’t. It’s a 5 star app for sure. The user just needs to be more than a 2 star user.

Studied Online. This app helped me the most, though I used several available apps. I ended up getting a perfect score on the exam.

Very Useful. The question bank as well as how it was designed was very intuitive. I was very comfortable taking the test and did pass on my first attempt. This app was critical in helping me study efficiently. I look forward to using the General Test app.

Excellent Prep Tool!. Excellent prep tool; better than flash cards. Love the link to exam dates and locations. The opportunity to test with randomized questions with scoring and review is a real confidence builder; I might have waited much longer to test if not for this feature.

Great App. This app is perfect for studying for my technician exam. Helps me prep with each and everyone of the questions right in my pocket for review whenever I’ve got a few minutes. Works flawlessly!

SO FAR THE BEST APP TO STUDY. Like i said, so far this is one of the best, or the number one app to study for your FCC Radio License. But is only a Phone App, it is such a Shame that it does not work in Mac Computer, its really a Shame. Such a good tool to study and it only can be used in a iPhone and not a apple computer. If it wasn't for that, i would happily give it a 5 star.

Best way to study!. I used this app along with KB6NU's No Nonsense Technician Class audio iBook. I got a 35 out of 35 by simply taking the tests at least twice a day and listening to the chapters this app suggested I study. It was very easy. I absolutely would have failed prior to using this tool. It took about a week to prepare. It's well worth the price. Now I've picked up the general version as well. Thanks

Worked great for me. Easily passed the exam. This app really helped. Practice on the whole question pool. Then took 4 practice exams. Go back and review questions I missed. Took the real exam, 33 out of 35. Total confidence when I went for the real exam. Wish they had this for the general exam....

Ham license applicant. As previously stated, this app is a very useful tool. It has increased my confidence that I will pass the test on the first try. Do explore the "randomized" questions, as this feature brought new questions, not seen in the "un-randomized section. Good luck, taking the exam.

Passed exam - 100%. Learned from Gordon West’s book, then used this application to take practice exams until I had the material down cold. Took about a week using the app for a few minutes each day a few times a day. App is organized well and the exam options make sure you can answer the questions and answers in any order. Already got the General app so when I get down to going for General I’ll be ready.

Love this stuff but.... I am 66. Don’t have the best memory but using this app (and honestly a couple of others) coupled with the computer version, I passed the Tech exam. Did the same for the General. At the time I learned the answers I tried to learn some theory to help me remember better. Problem is, as something I did not embrace as my one and only hobby, I can’t remember what I studied. Hope you have better luck.

Excellent Practice!. Great app for preparing for the Technician license exam. Couple with a text or two, I’ve gone from knowing very little about amateur radio to receiving 100% scores on practice exams. Taking my examination in a couple days, and after less than a week with the app, I am confident that I will ace the exam and take my first step into the HAM world. Thanks!

Excellent App. With this app I was able to take tests to burn in memory the answers, 7-14 days of 2-3 tests per day. Passed my technician exam 30/35. No desire to stand towers or talk, just needed to stream video from my drone at 200mW. Maybe I'll get the generals too, will see. RabbiFPV

Great way to prep for test.. I used this App to prep for my test. The App was set up perfectly for me. I liked that it would show what areas you were weak in and you could concentrate on those specific areas. This App was my primary method for getting ready for the Tech exam. I scored perfectly on the exam. I highly recommend

Favorite study aide. Easy to use. I have it with me, on my phone, all day when I have some time for a quick study session. The ability to review the tests you took, and see what specifically was wrong, is worth the cost alone. Nice job on the app!

Great app for studying to pass amateur radio technicians license.. I am confident that you could pass the exam if you use this app. I like how it analyzes your score in each section of the exam. It grades you on each section so you know what section you need to work on.

Great Help!. I kept taking the tests in the app until I started getting 35 of 35 correct, sat for the actual test and got 35 of 35 correct. It’s great the way it shows you how you did on each sub element so you can go over the areas you’re week in.

Great App. Im an Engineer and a former ham who let his ticket expire due to work and several moves throughout the US for work. So I really just needed to be updated on the question pool and a few principles, to get ready for the Tech and General tests. It’s a great straight forward app for learning everything you need to pass your test!

Passed first try.. Be sure to have a look around the app after taking a few practice exams. It will show in what categories you’re weaker or stronger, so you can just look at the ones that you most frequently get wrong. I passed my General today with this same app, General version. I starting toward Exta and again, I already own this app for Exra. A fantastic tool. Note that in the US, at this time you *can* take a legal HAM exam 100% online. Many clubs offer it because of our current pandemic. If you’re going to be locked inside, might as well have something to do!

Passed 100%. I started with the free version for a couple days to try it out and get a feel of the app. I then got the full version and studied for four days before taking the test and I passed 100% of the questions. This app was the only method I used to pass and it worked flawlessly! Thanks to the developers I will next be purchasing the GENERAL version and I have no doubts I will have the same passing result.

Very useful!. I’ve been using this app along with the ARRL study guide and this app has been the real deal breaker. It’s so nice to be able to study for the exam and get real time feedback on how I’m doing. I love how it also tells you how well you’re doing on each sub element so you can study more based on the sub element you are having trouble with on the tests. Definitely worth the purchase, and it’ll definitely get you prepared for the exam!! BUY IT!!

Awesome Application. This is absolutely, hands-down the most useful app when you are getting ready to take the technician exam. This app coupled with the book, will get anyone pass the examination in on to operation.

Awesome Help. I travel all the time. This was very handy. I could practice the test anywhere anytime. I went through 10 test before I went to take the test and it definitely helped. I remembered the questions I got wrong to get a score of 31/35.

Passed my Tech exam. Read an e-book first then used this app. I would go over 1 subelement in the morning and then a new one at lunch. In the evening I’d go over those two elements again (I would only do a new one if I felt confident of learning the previous areas). I would also review the previous areas also. In other words I’ve learned to use this app as an e-flash cards to go from short term memory to long term now. During testing day, few guys had questions on certain things. I was quick to explain the answer in simple terms to them. In the app, I only used the review question pool and the practice question pool. In the review it shows the question with the answer highlighted. In the practice its the question and you have to choose the answer. I tried the “New Test” but after the first question, the questions were of areas that I haven’t studied yet. So, after this. I never used it. But, now I can so I can keep my memory fresh because I’m starting to study for my General. Good luck!!!

With this alone you will pass. It’s very simple, but I recommend going through all the questions and let it assess your weak areas. Then it will test you on those. Once you’re batting .900 start taking the practice exams.

Only one thing I’d change.... It’s a great app to help you prepare for the Technician Exam. However I’d change one thing. When you get a question wrong, it’d be awesome if it would give a simple explanation as to the correct answer. Still a good app though. Highly recommend.

Best Ham Radio Study App. I studied with this app doing practice tests and reading the study guide for 2 weeks and went and took the technician exam and passed it first try! Highly recommend for anybody of any age it is very simple to use!

A great help!. As test time approached and I knew I was nowhere ready to pass. I downloaded this app and for me it was worth every penny! It helped me focus on the many areas where I was weak. I think there are enough different ways to use the app to satisfy various learning methods. I used it in conjunction with the online practice tests and it was good to have several ways to review.

Must have for anyone interested in getting their ticket. I don’t normally get paid apps, but this was a great choice. Every question posed is what’s on the test. Sure you can go to online forms or review the ARRL manual, but this app gives you real time feedback and points out areas you need more study on.

Great tool. In conjunction with the ARRL study manual I passed easily on my first try after studying for about 6 months. I almost passed my general even without studying for it. I will be ready to go with the general tool.

Awesome test prep app. I was easily able to prepare for taking my Technician Class License exam. I like the pass/fail tracking it does so you can easily see areas you are weak on. I read the Gordon West book first. After that I did multiple tests in the app. I went the entire bank of questions twice in practice mode to see how well I knew each area. I took tests until I was passing with above 90% in 10 minutes or less for 35 questions. I successfully passed my license exam so I highly recommend this app. I just paid for general prep app and know that similar test prep will work for general exam too.

It’s all there.. If you’re disciplined enough to study the material on your own then this app has it all. I originally dl’d the free version and thought for a few bucks more I could get the whole thing. I ended up taking a one day crash course that had food and drinks and included the test fee all for $35. I scored a 34 out of 35 which one of the proctors said was “like a perfect score.” Anyway, I digress. This app is still good prep and can be used as a reference guide for the future and will help if I want to get my general class license.

Outstanding App. This app is perfect with its features and functionality to study for the test. It has very helpful diagnostics on what to study more. The user interface is natural and intuitive and smooth. The app functions perfectly — no glitches or bugs. I wish all apps were this useful and well executed.

The best for studying all questions. It’s the easiest to use, has all the questions, creates practice tests, and keeps your test history. Use this with the ARRL study book and you will easily pass the test. I will be using this system to get my General and Extra in the next couple of months.

Great App. Great way to practice current test questions. I like that you can see the categories that you test weak in vs. areas you understand better. Made studying way more efficient. So far no downsides. Highly recommend.

Functionality Great. Functionality of the app is great. The ability to see where one’s weaknesses are located, history, the ability to have the answers jumbled as compared to the actual test questions is great as I believe this gives the best of both worlds, having the questions and making on think. My only criticism and it is perception on my part at this time, I have taken about a dozen tests and seem to get a lot of repeat questions, especially those that I have gotten correct. With a pool of over 300 questions, I would think each test exam would be more unique. I may be missing something but that is my perception.

100% perfect score. I used this app and did not miss a single question. The test took me about 12 minutes. Full disclosure I took over 30 practice tests and I studied the questions in free time for a week.

Best study aid!. I am using this app in tandem with the Kindle version of the ARRL Tech book. After each section of the book, I flip over to this app and review the questions that the book recommends. It's working great so far. I also take practice tests periodically and got my first 100% this week. I like the feature that shows how well I do on each subelement. It helps me improve on the sections where I am weakest. This is a very useful tool for learning what you need to pass. I'm definitely going to use this same technique when I start studying for the General.

Just like the real test. I'm using this app and a study book to prepare for my technician license. This app will assure I will succeed. If you are getting %80 or more here after 40 or 50 practice tests you will be ready to take the real test with confidence. I'll post my call sign when I get it. Thanks so much for this app.

Auto advance. Work well. Make sure not to turn auto advance if want to review the questions.

Fantastic. This was recommended to me from multiple people. I have a hectic schedule and can’t study as much as I’d like. I’m hoping to take a test this year.

You’ll pass. There were a lot of questions that showed up in my tests repeatedly. But there were a lot of other questions that rarely showed up and I struggled with. And of course a lot of those questions showed up on my tech exam. It’d be nice if the tests were more progressive. Like if you repeatedly get a question right, add a different question to the test pool. But it’s a free app and i passed. So thank you this app! 73

Very Good, could be a bit better. Is very good and works well. Only gave 4 stars because IMO it could you a bit of improvement. Or it wasn’t obvious how to do what I would like. I wish it had a study/test mode that only asked me questions I have missed before or not previous answered.

Great app, randomly quits a lot though. I love this app and I am getting better at the test with it, however it constantly force quits and closes. It keeps my place which is good but after every test, and randomly through a test it just quits unexpectedly.

Studied up and passed. Studied and took several practice tests. Then went to a cram then test session. Way more prepared before the test. Passed it easily.

Technician. Does a very good job of prepping you for the exam. Studied for 30 minutes per for a week then passed on the first try. Have no prior experience with amateur radios.

Good study tool. I've been using it to study effectively. I wish it had a little bit more info included.
