Looks great and it's super easy.. first a disclosure : i designed this app for Applied Ambiguities LLC The app is great. It's great to look at but more importantly it works great and it's easy to use. I enjoyed the simple transitions and the editorial content (especially since I'm a wine novice). It's pretty snappy as well except for the the view all items option - but liked that you warn me that it may be slow due to the number of results. All in all I think it's a great app which I as a wine novice enjoy. One request : coulda have an editorial item recommending a wine for dinner parties? Like if I'm going to a dinner party and I want to spend no more then $20 what the best Red / White / etc... would be. Thanks!

I like it just fine. I think some reviewers miss the point of this app. It is a huge database; therefore you have to be connected to access tasting notes. It would simply be too big to store on your iPad or iPhone. Also the database is live since it is made up of reviews from users like you and me. The fact that you can look up a 20 year old napa cab and find a recent consumer thoughts on how it is drinking can be much more reliable than a 17 year old critics review. I am glad this app doesn't tie up storage space on my device and allows me a portal to monitor my budding wine collection. It has offered me the opportunity to find amazing buys online and supply some fantastic drinkers at dinner parties due to information from fellow enthusiasts. Cheers!

Doesn't track cellar holdings accurately. Great idea but my inventory is all screwed up. This has been a problem for a while. In addition is doesn't retain order notes when you add a bottle. You have to copy the order notes, save the bottle and then edit and paste your order notes back in and save it again. It's a work around but really? Anybody have a suggestion for a better app? This one stinks.

Keep Cellartracker up to date more easily. I’m glad to have stumbled across this app. I’ve used cellartracker for a few years. Its a great tool for maintaining my cellar inventory because of its enormous inventory and customizable values, and it allows export to save my cellar data locally. But it has a disappointing interface, and making inventory changes is clunky and sometimes frustrating. This app solves that. It’s user interface is slick, cellartracker integration solid, and barcode scanner a great time saver. Two suggestions for future releases: 1) When editing an existing inventory item, present current values from inventory instead of blank/default values that requiring the user to retype all properties, even when changing only a single inventory value is desired. 2) A label reader would be valuable when bottles have no barcode.

No longer works. I have used the app successfully for several years. But in no longer works. You can still scan the barcode. It brings up a list including the bottle of wine you are researching. But when you select the bottle from the list, the app crashes. This is now happening with every bottle of wine I scan. Please fix. The app is useless at this time.

Bar scanner does not work. Bar scanner on iPhone does not work and support does not respond with help. Used to be a good app but not so anymore!

Crashes. When I open the app, it crashes. Useless.

Scans barcodes! (ver. 2.2). Updated to 2.2. Added scanning of barcodes using "Occipital" engine of "Redlaser" fame is totally sweet. Haven't scanned but a couple which it found perfectly, just had to choose vintage (wineries often reuse codes from past years). Soon I will be down in cellar scanning my way to organizational OCD bliss. All my wines will be posted to CellarTracker website. This is SO flipping awesome. I'll never be able to sleep tonight! This app is SO far ahead of its time. Developers should be elected to congress to fix healthcare immediately, or knighted, or worshiped as small idols on the table in my cellar. All this for freakin $3.99! OMGosh... Anybody got a picture of these guys so I can begin construction of the shrine? I am just giddy.

Perfect. Amazing app that is an easy data entry "app" that is backed by a full featured web site called Cellar Tracker. So you enter your personal cellar data via the Corkz app and some of the editing is done via the Cellar Tracker website. The beautiful part of this app is it syncs with all your mobile devices almost instantly. So my Iphone and two Ipad 2's have my cellar information synced all the time. Awesome! and it works perfectly. It took me a bit to figure out that some editing had to be done on the Cellar Tracker website so if you enter data via the app and want to change it, some fields can be changed within the app but not all fields. Your app purchase gives you access to the members only Cellar Tracker website as well, just use the same user ID and password you used to set up your Corkz membership. All seamless and flawless. I find the depth of the Cellar Tracker website to be amazing. Great partnership and wonderful interface. I couldn't ask for more. Thanks for making a FULL BLOWN cellar tracker for me to use on the fly! Love it.

Very Nice Wine Cellar Solution. I would highly recommend using this app. I have tracked my 550 bottle cellar a couple of different ways, but never as effectively as this. Easy to implement - a couple of 2-1/2 hour sessions - and once the data is entered, it's easy to maintain. I especially use the Drink By sorting feature. I either rely on the Community Drink By dates or enter my own. Once they are in, I can sort by the Drink By dates and quickly grab a wine for dinner at home, opening at a restaurant, or sharing with friends. With this feature I don't have to worry about forgetting about bottles in my cellar to the point they are past there prime. The app makes it easy to maintain your cellar as you consume and purchase from your laptop, iPhone or iPad. App works with data entered into cellar tracker. An improvement I would like to see when quick entering bottles in your iPhone or iPad is being able to note in the entry a user defined location in the cellar. This would make it easier to find an individual bottle within the cellar. I also use this app when ordering wine in a restaurant - I can quickly find the community rating and price for a wine on the menu to determine if the majority have found it to be worth drinking, along with how much markup I am paying for the bottle.

Broken!. Paid for this app now it’s whining about some app key when scanning. Fix this!

Used to work. Used it for many years. Nothing special, but functional. But completely broken since iOS 12 update. Update - now it works. Maybe a web or database glitch.

A great app -- until the scanner stopped working. This used to be a great app for looking up wine at the store or in a restaurant to get community impressions. However, you can no longer scan a bottle's barcode, and have the app pull up the wine, because the app returns the error 11:t "the scandit SDK validation failed. Make sure your app key is valid and check your account for available activations." Multiple people have identified this problem without response from the developers. If you don't mind typing in the wine information, which can be very difficult to get right, then the app is reasonable.

Great Drink Now/Soon Feature. This is a very good application with the potential to be great. Best feature is the Drink Now/Soon Feature. It helped me identify over a dozen bottles near or past their drinkable window. Before using this feature I was drinking my wines more in a last bought, first drunk approach. The usability of the app could be improved if the number of wines in their wine database was increased and more bar codes were included and added. Even after I scanned a barcode when I added a wine to my cellar, and added the barcode to the record when asked, the application could not "find" the wine based on the barcode when I pulled it from the cellar to drink. That said, the features are laid out pretty well.

Gone?. Used this for a few years but I get only black screen when I try to open it now. Even the website won’t accept emails. Must be defunct. Will use a different app, I guess. Bummer

Great app if you have a cellar. I would start by saying this app is not necessary if you do not have a wine cellar. This is really meant for someone who wants to catalog a large volume of wine. That said, for cellar owners this is a magnificent application. It provides a great way to review your wine by varietal, region, type, etc. It also allows you to scan in your wine by the barcode. On the negative side, for those wines which you may need to input by hand, it is not very forgiving with typos. This can make wine entry laborious, and for that, I dock it one star. It should also allow you to view by wines that you have reviewed. Otherwise it is an overall excellent app and I highly recommend.

what's with this wine I buy?. The barcode-scanning feature in this app is great....when it works. I'd say that roughly 50% of the bottles I try to scan are not recognized by this program. I've used it in a few occasions when I've had plenty of time to spend in a liquor store and I wanted some help choosing a bottle. Unfortunately, since so many bottles aren't recognized, I end up frustrated. However, when this app recognizes the bottle, things are great! I never seem to keep wine around long enough to take advantage of the "cellar" feature. All in all, I'll keep playing around with this app, but only because I already paid for it. I wish it had been free or at least cheaper, or better yet: that it just worked more often.

Still a Very Limited Wine Database. Not a bad program, but there is still a lot to be desired. No attempt was made to create a real database of popular wines. It is clear the designers are awaiting us to do their work. Not cool, but again, not a bad program.

Improvement. To whom it may concern, There needs to be a MOVE feature. Whether you do it in the edit portion or wherever, the user needs to be able to move more than one bottle at a time. This could be done in the edit feature just create a FROM and TO edit feature with a QUANTITY. The QUANTITY being the most important. When you add a wine you can specify a quantity, but you cannot in edit or the MOVE feature that is nonexistent. If you want to rename your BINS, where do you do this?? And if you are able to rename a BIN it shouldn’t change the contents of the bin when you do so. This App works as it’s intended, but it needs improvement. It is flexible enough to be used in a single location or if the user has multiple locations. The later being my scenario where my employer has multiple bins in multiple locations. So when we MOVE cases of wine from one to the other this is why there needs to be a move feature with a quantity. As well as quantity feature in the DRINK section too. Think bigger! Respectfully

Good, but some bugs remain to be fixed. I've been an avid Cellartracker user for a while, so this app is the ideal companion. Or should be. There are still bugs or functionalities that remain to be fixed. For instance, when browsing my cellar by varietal, why are only the most popular varietals displayed? Why can't I browse Malbecs, Chenin Blancs or Viogniers, since Cellartracker can sort all my bottles by varietals, including the most obscure ones? Same problem with region browsing: somehow I can't even select Rhône or some Spanish regions, since most likely an accented character bug prevents them to be displayed correctly - this is an unacceptable bug for a 5-dollar app. All in all, this is a good app with a very nice interface, but it has bugs in urgent need of fixing.

No longer supported... go to CellarTracker. Sadly, this app is no longer supported and there are some issues with it. I have reached out at least twice over the past 12-18 months with specific concerns, questions, & issues. Not a single response. Not sure what happened because it used to be great! Don’t waste your time here. Just go straight to. CellarTracker (the database back-end to this app.) There were features here that I liked better than CellarTracker, but I’ll just learn how to use CT from here on out.

Light app, works ok. Nothing special but not much competition out there either.

Not helpful. 0 of the 15 bottles I scanned at the store would show up. What is this app even about?

Blown away!. Just got my iPhone and dreamed of an iOS app that would connect to CellarTracker. This is it! It's amazing! And I haven't even tried the scan or the compare features yet. Highly recommended. Update: have been using for awhile now and still love it! If you track your wine with CellarTracker this is a must have. The scan and compare features work great, BTW. Update 28 September 2012: still love it! No complaints, this is a great app if you are a CellarTracker user; it's probably equally wonderful even if you are not. Update 31 Jan 2013: had a problem viewing some of my wines by location (a bug). Contacted support and they had it fixed in couple of days. Very happy with the app. Kudos to Llew!

Take Cellar Tracker with You. I organize my cellar with Cellar Tracker. So, it is great to be able to pick a wine and then "drink" it and review it with my I-phone on the living room couch, not head to my desk top. It is also great to be able to sort within sorts (eg. List all Pinots and then sort by drinking dates.) Also pretty useful picking wines in a store. (I refuse to pull it out in a restaurant.) I do not use it for inputting wines because it does not have all of the features of CT, but when inputting wines on my desktop or laptop it is handy to use the phone ap as a second screen. Two minor issues. The slide for the wine rating number is hard to get on the precise number; I would prefer a tumbler like it has for cellar location and date. Also, if you have a minor typo when typing wine names, it does not recognize the wine. (Newer version does this sometimes. ???). Also have to get used to newer version prompting for next. Have several times "drank" before finished with input, and there is no way go ho back and edit/add. Overall a great ap. Note to other reviewers: if you are not familiar with the quirks of the Cellar Tracker wine reviews, you may be surprised at some of the reviews. Often necessary to figure out who has reviewed what, and ratings and drinking dates are often not consistent with text, but very many, very knowledgable people are reviewing, and scoring very hard. Don't go by the rating number alone.

Subpar at best. This app has the potential for greatness, yet they fail at the most basic rudimentary functions. Get it together!

Extremely helpful in a wine store. I use this app exclusively to help me pick wines at retail. Extremely helpful due to their huge inventory of wines in database, including at the lower price points where I and many other wine lovers with Champaign taste buds on beer budgets must shop. Helping me find high 80's rated wines around $10 among the gazillions of gallons of swill keeps me from pouring so many bottles down the drain, or to be generous, allows me to pick way more winners than merely OK wines. The Wine Spectator App just gives you an idea of the vintage and region, but this App gives you name, date, rating, and average prices at retail. An excellent and helpful App. I don't know what I'd do without it now. Kudos to the developers, and thank you.

Hands down BEST wine app. I LOVE this app. I have been using it for over a year now and can't imagine going back to trying to track my wine collection with Excel. I use the app with tracking my current collection, looking up new wines before I purchase (to get ratings, reviews, pricing), doing research on new wineries that I want to visit, and for showing off to my friends. I am sure you will love it as well if you spend some time using it. There are a hand full of enhancements that I would like to see, but those will be great when they come out, but the lack of them does not take away from the true value of all of the current features it has. Give it a try, you will not be diss appointed.

Black screen without network. I like the way I can keep track of bottles I own, as well as what I have liked in the past. They information is useful when I'm in the store deciding what wine to buy. Well, that did not work at all! Inside the wine store my phone has no network connection, and Corkz says it can't work without network. So all I get is a black screen. Why is my wine cellar not stored on my device? I need it to work regardless of network. There are still many places on this Earth without network availability, and my apps need to work there.

New Layout makes it hard to see text fields. Light grey boxes that are used to highlite a selected wine masks the text underneath with data such as ratings, drinking window, etc... In general the new layout provides less contrasts between fields and text making it overall harder to read on my iPad. Not sure what you were thinking with this new layout but would prefer that you go back to the older layout or allow the user to choose.

New Version Not as Good. The older version was working well - it was pretty quick and the barcode scanner worked incredibly fast. This new version changed all that. It now takes much longer to load, sometimes making you think it hung. And the barcode scanning is a joke. It can’t even detect that there’s a barcode in the frame, let alone read it. Wish I could go back to the older version. It might be time to switch to Cellar Tracker app (which is the database Corkz uses).

Everything I expected. This app is outstanding for the budding connoisseur. The barcode scanner is invaluable, not only when shopping a local distributor, but when browsing wine festivals and expos (the reps are much more informative when they perceive you as a serious consumer). And when I do find that special bottle at the expo, I can remember to search for it at the local shop. Tracking my own inventory linked back to Cellar Tracker helps managing my burgeoning stock, keeping notes and sharing with my family and friends easier and more enjoyable. One of my absolute favorite apps.

search is broken. this is a good app, but search is broken right now

Zombie app. Seems there is no longer any development of this app. Scan feature no longer works.

Frustrations. While I like the scan function of adding to my cellar there needs to be the ability to add a wine name, year, etc. I am in several wine clubs and receive wines that are not released for retail. There is no way for me to add them to my cellar.

Recent release broken. See now loading then just get black screen since last update. Same issue on phone and ipad

Great App!. Near perfect app. The scanner is very handy, and the info it pulls up has found 39 of 40 bottles of wine that I entered including vintage! All from my beginner's size and ever burgeoning wine collection! I am not surprised that it did not find the un-scannable bottle, as it was purchased at a very small VA winery. What I would like to know is, how can I enter that one into the database? Also, the pics of the bottle labels are for the most part terrible and look like they have been uploaded by cell phone pics. Is there a way to improve the quality? I love being able to have all the information about the wines I own AT MY FINGERTIPS! That is amazing... Helps immensely when shopping at the store. I don't see any problems with the drink feature. Works well for me.

Lots of potential – but I’m disappointed...(this is version 1.0.3). I'm a huge fan of Cellar Tracker. The idea of bringing the immense database and functionality of that site to my Touch was VERY attractive. However, in light of all of the potential, I find the App lacking. On the plus side: --I can search the database (lots of sort options available) --I can view my cellar previously created on the CT site (also lots of sort options available) On the down side: --none of the reviews on cellar tracker are viewable when ones searches --only a fraction of the wine data (sub region/appellation etc) featured on CT is not shown here --Once found, I cannot add the wine to my cellar (?!) Now there are lots of other things one can do on CT that I could understand the app not yet encompassing (actually leaving your own notes, linking up with friends, adding specific data once you "drink" the wine from your cellar for example), but the three things listed above seem like pretty basic pieces of functionality to me. I really hope this app is still being developed. It's a great first stab. The link to CT is such an advantage in my opinion over the other apps out there (and for this I'll give it 3 stars instead of 2). But as it stands, this app could be making this built in advantage work much more so than it currently is.

App ruined. Was great and could get prices. Very very buggy now and barely works. Horrible now.

still not there. Once a year I re-download the app and see if it has gotten any better. Nope. There are too many shortcomings to list.

Corkz. I love this app and use it all the time. I scan a barcode and I get a lot of information about price and taste. It has saved me a lot of money when buying wine. A couple of things I wish it would improve on is I would like to add bottles that are in already on the app. More importantly I would like to follow people that have the same flavor profile that I do to see what else they're buying drinking and reviewing. And I also wish I could view the winery from where the winds came so that I could see what else they had. I believe this app used to do that some years ago. All in all I love it and recommend it highly. I just think they have some updates and improvements to do. Most definitely worth $2.99!!

Finally! Great App for Cellartracker Users!. As a devoted Cellartracker user, I finally got my most valuable iPhone app! Functionality is very good, and I like the graphics too. The "drink" button allows you to take your iPhone to your cellar and remove inventory on the spot. As others state, a wealth of info at your fingertips while wine shopping. Suggestions: 1) Add the ability to adjust inventory (add bottles, add new wines) so you can use the iphone as inventory management while in your cellar or at the store. 2) Add the Cellartracker "tasting notes" ticker (there's an RSS feed already) so you can keep up on the latest notes for your wines. 3) Custom reports/views.

Poor cellar tracking. This is my go to app when purchasing wines. The reviews of other users are usually helpful. However, the very cumbersome cellar tracking feature is not very useful. If you are primarily looking for a way to track your wines across multiple locations then you should keep searching.

App is not working. The app is not working

Inpossible to use in dark mode. Loved for years, but wouldn’t download it now. With the new design, all the input fields are illegible if your phone is in dark mode

Stopped working. I had this app running on my iPhone 5 and now 7+ for 3 years and was reasonably happy with it. Unfortunately, it stopped working a month ago. Nothing has worked to resurrect it. I contacted the company, but no response. I give it only 1 star because i cant get the developer's attention. When it works, i would give it 4 to 5 stars.

Looking for a dial up speed app?. If you’re tired of your blazing fast iPhone you spent bank on to get 5g and a chip that could launch a rocket. If you long for the good old days of inserting a cd you got in the mail from compuserve promising 55 hours of free internet. If life just moved too dang fast, this app is for you! It don’t care that it’s 2021. It don’t care that you’ve curated years of wine bottles into it. Or you e gifted it to you family. The developer is over you, and well, they’re also on dialup so they can’t hear you complain because they are online and can’t pick up the phone. Please send a self addressed stamped envelope to “Bad Wine App, PO Box 999, Pueblo, Colorado”.

Lot of potential. Be very clear--this does not currently support scanning CT! barcodes (ITF), only UPC/EAN. I know it says this in the description, but sometimes I only read comments and I mis-read one of the comments. I do like the Pedia--while you can certainly use Wikipedia or wine-specific websites via Safari to look things up, it is kind of nice having the basics available in a single application. And access to your collection (if it's in CellarTracker! already) is kind of nice, too. The speed seems like it could be improved--results seem to come up faster when browsing in Safari on the iPhone. It borders on being too slow to use (at least for me). Lot of potential, however, and I look forward to future versions.

Big flaw, should be easy to fix. Really nice features and great user interface to interact with CellarTracker database. Barcode scan feature for drinking from your own cellar, however, is deeply flawed and corrupts the integrity of your entire cellar inventory. It scans your CellarTracker bar codes and finds the wine in your cellar, but instead of identifying the specific bar coded bottle, it randomly grabs any bottle of that particular wine. So, if you have a dozen bottles of a particular wine and you scan a specific bottle to drink, instead of logging that specific bottle as drunk, it selects a random bottle from the dozen of that type and you have no way of knowing what it has done until you examine your inventory and find that the wrong bottle has been logged as drunk. Very disappointing, not to mention time consuming to correct. Did they not test this feature at all? Too bad, because otherwise would be a very nice app. Please fix -- this can't be that hard to do correctly.

One of my favorite apps. This is the only and best App that totaly complements the incredible Cellar Tracker. This keeps my cellar even more organized then ever before. All of the wines I have in my collection have the date of purchase, locations, ratings, cost, value, tasting notes and more available on this app. Well worth the small price. It has general information about wines as well. I could go on and on. The only item is that I cannot get the scanner to work on the iPhone. No big thing. I take the iPhone when going to the cellar, locate the wine, then mark it "drank". I can't even think how I would improve this app.

Great cellar app. Great when combined with CellarTracker.

Handy.. Lots of good info and reviews but some views in 'my cellar' have minuscule fonts and layout on the iPhone 4. Also cannot add wines that aren't on the database already.

Nice use of the online database. It took a while but I really like the app now.

Great little app. Fun little app with a good library of wines. The prices are way off, but understandably will have a majority of US users as opposed to Australian. Would be even better with a top 100 wine list or a wine of the week entry.

If you are buying this to scan and identify wine, don’t.. I bought this app to be able to scan barcodes and get details about the wine.. No bottles I scanned could be found in the database. You then press the helpful “Why not?” button and the app tells you that there is no central database for wine and that most of the wine they have information on is on the US and even that is only about 30% of wine. Fair enough. But I wish that little disclaimer was made available before purchase. Deleted it a few minutes after paying for it. I did not test the other functionality.

A bit clunky. Works well provided: a) your wine is in their database; and b) you don't mind having the wrong photo assigned to your wines. Would be great if you could add any wine to your cellar.

Wine cellar winner!. I have looked for an easy way for my wife to select appropriate wine from our cellar for some time! Cor.kz combined with Cellartracker fit the bill. Now she finds the bottle, and 'drinks' it from the cellar record without my help, and from her own iPhone! Easy to use, fabulous App.

Pro?. Would be happy to pay for a pro version if it included more CT management functions!

Overrated. Lots of work needed. Try to add cellar is buggy and cumbersome. Lots of crashes. App is now constantly crashing on startup, unable to access anything. Very dissapointing!!

Save your money. The database hardly contains any standard Aussie wines or wineries. Not a very usefull app.

Great. Great app to track all your wine. You can connect it to cellar tracker.

Corkz - works very well with Cellar Tracker. Excellent

Corked. Used to be awesome. Now crashes constantly. Crashes when selecting a wine, errors. Full of bugs and gone mouldy. Sad, because it was brilliant

great wine app. A must have!

Crashes continuously. Don't bother. Not worth the cash in it's current state. Buy a glass of wine instead.

Great iPhone front end to cellartracker. Great app. Means I can carry all my cellar data from cellar tracker with me. Also very useful if you want to look up some reviews and thoughts on unknown wines. Good reports too.

Great wine app. Great access to the database, can't wait to see how it develops!

I love is app and would recommend to any wine lover. Great app. It's changed the way I appreciate, store, buy and drink my wine.

Good. I have been able to enter all my wines in one or the other of the locations I made: Cellar or Home. I would like the ability to move or delete as I move them from my cellar to my home or when I drink them . . . Which is often

Easy to use, but not all of the cellar tracker features are available.. At the time of writing, I still find this to be a better frontend to cellartracker than Cellartracker's own app. It's basic, but does the job well. Sometimes it loses connection to the database then your own cellar details are not available. Offline access to my cellar would be welcome.

Excellent app!. Having access to reviews and info about so many of the wines from around the world makes choosing wines easy. But being able to view and interrogate my own cellar is a god send!

Crash a lot. Does not work well with OS 3.0

Great app!. Great! Excellent way to keep track of my wine. Almost 100% of my wine in the database. Very easy to use!

Doesn't work!. It hasn't found one single bottle of wine I've searched for on it. I've tried even under brand names and it can't find them either. Waste of money.

Cellartracker makes this app!. An awesome way to connect to Cellar tracker data base. Great app, but needs further refinement to be useful stand alone (need to access website regularly also for updating/monitoring quite often), but great for day to day use.

Ok. Ok. Bit frustrating so many of my wines are not in the database or don't scan. Otherwise ok

Good Potential. It took me a while to work out how to use this ap. Generally good ap, but interface is a bit clunky. I like the scanning of wine label, but at times it wont allow you to correct details like year of bottling.

Nice app. Very good app which no doubt will improve over time (just like a good Aussie red!). Good data base. Cellar info is really useful. Just needs an edit function. Works very well with CellarVu. Cheers!

When it works.... This app has some great features and would get 5 stars from me if it worked more often than not. As it is of 20 wines scanned it found 3, I was able to manually find most of the others, but could only add about half of those to my collection. The rest of the time I could not add the bottle that I had found, due to errors preventing me. Intensely frustrating. I'd suggest waiting for some decent updates ( bug fixes) before purchasing this app

Solid. A few glitches prevent the app from getting a full 5 stars. Would like to see the drink ability report included

Very disappointing. With no way to manually add a wine not found in the app's database this app is useless to me. The first 5 local (Australian) wines I pulled from my own collection to catalogue were not found so while I think the app has some nice features it is entirely useless to me and, I would imagine, to most Australians. I should demand a refund but it's only $3 down the drain after all.

Was good - new version a step back. The app is a great idea, but the new organisation is not good. Where have all the other user's comments gone? Often I scan bottles which will give me right wine in the right winery but the wrong year, with no option to change the year. These little annoyances stop a good app from being a great app.

Best of its kind. While there are still some improvement opportunities like having more power to do cellar edits (which would earn the 5th star) the cor.kz app combined with cellartracker is the best cellar management app for the iPhone. Good interface, few bugs. Highly recommended.

Excellent. Great app, ties in perfectly with Cellar Tracker

Brilliant, even for Australia. I use this app to track my wine collection and it does it well. I know my wines, when to drink them, where to buy replacements etc. The scanner is great, used in conjunction with the CellarTracker account adding a new wine is simple. Keep up the good work

Barcode Scanner Blank ! Doesn't work. I want my money back. Bought to catalogue my cellar - waste of $$$$$

Limited Australian Wine List. This app is hopeless for Australian wines and don't bother with it. Some of the iconic Aussie wines are not listed. Just went looking for Vat 1, Tyrrell's best wine and known world wide and not found. This is not the first time and having paid for I am not deleting the app but delegating it to my junk file

Ripoff. I wanted to store details of all the wine I have in my collection to create a database. This app does not allow you to scan and store wine in a database for you. It forces you signup for another paid "cellar tracker".

Great Work. I think this is a wonderful app for keeping control of my cellar. With 500 wines it is difficult but I find this great. Good using the print functions for the occasional stocktake.

Best wine management app. I've tried a number of the wine apps available, and this one is by far the best.

Great app!!!!. What can you say except excellent!

Cellar at fingertips. A really useful app, keeps my cellar at my finger tips

Best wine cellar app eva!. Look no further this is a travelling cellar with both your wine and reviews from the best wine critics in the world, in the palm of ur hand! Get on it!

Love it!!!. Just what I am after. Perfect!!!!

Mostly good...better if worked consistently. Great to be able to review your cellar or remove a bottle on the go. Easier to navigate for that than going directly to the Cellar Tracker website. But too many times removing a bottle from your cellar just does not work one day...but does the next. That one problem drops 3 stars because after all, isn't that the point?

Great app. Really happy with the app. Could use some minor tweaks, like further editing tools. Really happy overall.

Excellent app, highly recommended.. Excellent app, a must have for the connoisseur and wine amateur alike. Highly recommended.

Great!. Great tool for managing my cellar. The bar code scanner works 70% of the time. Would be good to be able to update wine location for existing cellar.

Useless without editing ability. Agree 100% with BSquaredB's review. For example it recognized some wines but got the year wrong. No ability to edit a simple thing like the year makes this useless for managing a collection in Australia. Waste of money, sorry.

Excellent app. A truly excellent app, I have tried a lot of cellar apps before but this one just rolls right over all the others. Great work Cor.kz people and keep up the good work.

Great!. Very useful for tracking inventory, notes, comments and value with the connection with cellartracker. Could be better for editing inventory or value, and could be useful to have user define fields to give filter capacity to users.

Cokezfantastik. Simplement génial

Best cellar app I've tried. This is the cellar app that I've tried. The barcode scanner works great. Only found 1 bottle not in the database. Definitely recommend this one.

It is okay, when it works. This app is always slow, relative to other apps, in terms of UI responsiveness. My day job deals with big RDBMS so it is frustrating for me not able to make use of the many fields there for my own use. Basically this app "encourages" you to write public reviews. It always take a long time to launch the app, and the lag is getting longer and longer. Finally tonight it won't launch, complaining about network problem: expecting status code in 200-299, got 500. I'm writing this review online now so I'm sure it is not my network problem. I wrote to the developer before but never got a response, time to look for an alternative.

Stuck on Loading.... Stuck on the loading... screen. Unable to scan any labels!

Cor.kz. Using it now for a year. Great app with the barcode scan feature.

Excellent. Very usefull

Excellent app!. Does everything I want it to. Stable. User-friendly.

Great app. Simple, straightforward and useful for those who love wine! Well worth the cost.

Great app for wine enthusiasts. Works amazing with CellarTracker. Works with both Canadian and US retail stores. Scanning works better on iPhone than that of iPad. A must buy. Key point, when removing wine from database, choose to remove from "cellar". If not, the product will never be removed from inventory.

L’application ne démarre pas !!!! Erreur 503. Incapable de démarrer l’application !!

Amazing. A must buy if you have cellar tracker...flawless integration

Very very good. The app works very well and I especially like that it keeps up to date on all my devices. Only complaints are it is a bit slow moving between screens / cellar, etc and I have not had much luck at all with the bar codes matching.

Barcode reading would be killer if it worked. This tool has great potential to be the killer iphone app, but my success with scanning wines bought from the LCBO (largest buyer of wines in the world) is about 1 in 20 bottles. The LCBO uses the bar code to sell 100% of its products, so the information is out there.

Use Cor.kz with CellarTracker!. This is a great standalone app but it becomes a more powerful tool in conjunction with CellarTracker. I use it to scan and organise my wine cellar. It scans well and quickly captures products I'm cellaring. Used together I have a great overview of several hundred bottles of wine and spirits. Just wish there were a couple more features.

Awesome!. I love this app. I consult it every time I purchase wine I've never tried. Cellar tracker helps me keep track of my cellar. Can't live without it!

Bug. Since update i am unstable to enter any comments after “drinking wine” in iPad only. iPhone ok. Please fix! (Sorry but geeple sounds like they come from the “uncanny valley”.)

Great app for rating and tracking. I use this app at stores when I'm shopping for wine. It helps me find delicious wine. You just scan the bar code on the bottle and can see the community reviews. I also like sorting the wine I have by drinking window so I can enjoy my wine at its best, not too young and not tired. It's pretty user friendly too.

Very useful app!. This app is a great mobile interface to the Cellar Tracker website database. It makes it easy for me to check what we have available and to review the wines as we drink them.

Super Slow. Needs an update. It's become so slow. I can finish my bottle of wine before it finds it in the search. Adding and deleting from "my cellar" is painfully slow as well.

Awesome!!!!!!. Incredible. Imagine this: the power of the Cellar Tracker database of wines and reviews + cool iPhone app + redlaser barcode reading = bar far the best wine cellar app I've seen.

Very disapointed. Often fail to open, doesn't work offline. Can't change the year of the wine if not in database, can't classify wine per color. I'm now searching for a better app because this one is very bad.

App doesn't work at all. The app shows promise but is unworkable at the moment. It cannot scan any bar codes and doesn't allow you to add any bottles to one's collection. It has crashed on every occasion that I've tried using it so far. A huge waste of money, unfortunately.

Bulky. I want to record my likes and dislikes on wine I try. Easy and quick so i can go reference to see what I should pick up. This app has way too much info on prices and stuff i don't need. I added a barcode from a wine i want to remember not to buy again ...and i still am unsure ? It looked like i just bought a wine online? Wtf? Really?

Wonderful. The app is stable, useful and always improving. The barcode scanner, in particular, has gone through much development increasing in accuracy and speed.

Good app. I have used this app for a while and it slowly improves. Gave it a 4 because you still can't add a new vintage from app, have to do that on the website. Love the community feature!

Great app. As good as it gets till the cellar tracker app comes out. Works well.

Efficace. Corkz est le plus efficace pour ajouter un vin rapidement.

What has happened???. Used to really like this app and used it a lot but now it just crashes ALL the time !!!

Disappointed in poor functionality. Search & browser are unnecessarily slow and complicated, multiple copies of a single wine vintage in the database make it hard to find useful reviews. I want my money back.

Amazing. Amazing app!

Ok app, but has potential. Good concept, but needs data/internet connection to access your cellar. Barcode scanning could use extra features like year selection. Could be better if it had a bigger database with B.C. wines.

Waste of money even during their .99 sale. Scanner function in app useless. You must search for and add all purchases through the cellartracker website. If you have a wine not in the database it's cumbersome to add through the website menus (designed in 1990's??) App seemed stable but not of much help other than what info it gleans from the website. I rate this app a thumbs down/ save your money.

Getting better. This app has great potential and is getting better with every update. I hope they keep working on it. I have no issues with the app on iPad and find it excellent for finding wines and reviews. Great for keeping track of what I have in stock. Best wine cellar app so far, but can get better. Would like to see more options like the web site.

So useful. This is an amazing app. I've been using it for several years and really enjoy the information. Any Time of the day or night anywhere in the world I have access to all of my wines In my cellar. Enabling me to purchase wines that I am looking for and not purchasing Wines that I have that I don't need more of

Nice. Scanned pretty much all my wines. Nice to manage my collection. Tried many other apps and they were always too vague or too in depth. This is perfect for the casual user.

Corkz. Corkz: to scan and search it is totally useless. When you can't recognize either barcode OR NAME of such basics as Pol Roget cuvée Winston Churchill or Moet Chandon Imperial you got Notting!

Great app!!. Excellent way to keep track of what you have in your cellar and the optimal time to drink your bottles. Scanner works great!

Simply awesome. Great app, the barcode is genus, gives the common person quick access to what you should drink

Sadly crashed right from the start. I had high hopes for this app and was happy to pay but it crashes.

Mr Joubert. Love this app, should give the option to update the images that are missing or that are low quality. Perfect!

It works for me.. This app makes is now essential to purchase wines and manage my cellar. The database of tasting notes is now invaluable to me as I can bypass the celebrity ratings and learn what regular folk think! This saved me 16 dollars per bottle on my last purchase! I would recommend this app to anyone with fifty bottles or more.

Great app for keeping track. Overall very good app that helps you keep track of wines by region and provides a pretty good drink by date. The only draw back is the lack of UPC recognition. Would recommend buying this app.

Bar code scanner works great. Fantastic manager for my cellar. Keeps track of everything I have.

Excellent. Have about a 300 bottle cellar and very good for keeping track of what to drink.

Great.. Much better UI since last update. Glad to see customer feedback taken seriously!

Love it. So handy. Saved me from ruining my Bordeaux's by over aging.

Most useful app. Apps may come and go and aside from the obvious, one of if not my favorite app. I have been using it for the last 5 years, it has always been reliable and useful. Transfers my data between updates seemlessly! Whether in a restaurant, just shopping or restocking the cellar it is a great resource. I would give it 6 bottles I mean stars if it were possible.

Great app. Love this app fantastic on the go resource that ties into cellar tracker seamlessly.

Great app, easy to use. Easy to find the contents of my cellar in seconds in whichever way I need: varietal, region, type, etc...

Excellent app. I don't rate often or give 5 stars often, but this is one good app. Syncs with cellartracker, so I can take my collection anywhere. You can search from a large database of wines when you want more info at a restaurant or wine shop. Barcode scanner works, but is limited in that many winemakers either don't use it or don't separate out their vintages or wines, which is not the fault of this app. Bottom line: this app works well, and syncs with cellartracker.

Love this app.. This App has save me so much time! I entered my whole wine inventory (220 bottles) in 4 hours using my I-phone barcode reader. About 85% of the wines came up on scanning. Some of the wines were not in the database and I entered them via name. It would have taken me weeks if I had to type in the year, wine name and otehr misc information for all my wines. It sync's up with Celler Tracker, which is nice. Also, love the feature where I am out at a restaurant and can scan the bottle of wine I am drinking and can add a rating, notes and add to wish list. This was the best $2 I have spent!

Sadly Disappointed. I searched hours to find one app that would fit my needs. I want two simple things. Keep track of what I have at home and allow me to make notes so I can remember if I liked a wine or not. This app said it could do that. Well, it kind of does, but has too many issues in my opinion. The birst bottle I "drank" absolutely would not remove from my cellar. In fact, it's still in there, days later. Finding my tasting notes is very kludgy, I had to dig to find it. Why isn't this at the top? Oh, and the Places is absolutely useless. I'm betting there's a free app out there that would do a better job.

Don't buy until they fix this app!!!!!!. I bought this app yesterday & I had high hopes for it. When I went to use it last night... nothing. It doesn't work anymore. It didn't even work a full 24 hours. I've bought apps in the past that didn't do what I wanted, but at least they worked. This is the worst app I've bought so far. Maybe if they get it fixed and get it running again, it will be a worthwhile app, but at this point I have little faith. I guess I should have known when one of my first logins was greeted with a message appearing about a major bug and a promise that it would "never happen again". I guess "never" meant "in a couple of hours".

Excellent App to manage your cellar and research wine. I waited until the update came out to review this app. Now it works/looks great on my iPhone and iPad. Fully integrated with Cellar Tracker for cellar management and reviews. Also a great tool to check on the value of wines you are considering buying. In the wine shop use the built in barcode scanner to see what a good price is to pay for that bottle. This app could pay for itself the first time you realize that you're paying $20 for a $10 bottle. Highly recommend.

Easy and has what I need. I looked around for a while to find the "right" cellar app for my needs. This one has a good balance between community, extensive line of wines already available for selection and ease of maintaining my personal cellar. Most of the the time the app has everything I need. The web site has more functionality. I usually only use the web for editing my cellar, for which the app seems limited. The app is great for adding to my cellar and consuming from my cellar, but revisions to what is in my cellar not so much. All in all, I'm happy with it. The shortcomings are not significant.

5.07.1 unfortunately doesn't fix bugs and introduces more bugs. With the latest version 5.07.1 they didn't fix some known bugs, and introduced a major annoying bug. The bottle counts on summary menus screens (by varietal, by region, etc.) still don't display properly and are usually wrong. And on the wine details screens I am seeing a ton of reviews under "my tasting notes" that are NOT mine. Please fix!!! At least they fixed the Drink Soon sorting bug. They have made up for the horrible upgrade to 5.0 and finally got this app performing beautifully. Formatting and display issues have been fixed, and inventory 'badges' added back where they belong (and used to be). A-Z scroll bar is a great touch. Lastly, the wine detail view received a welcome facelift with the master list scrolling down the left. Only one bug found so far. The Drink Soon view default sort is incorrect. Should be ascending and default is descending.

Outstanding App!!. Doesn't have quite all of the functionality of the cellar tracker website but has almost everything I need in a nice easy to use app. One suggestion I have is that you be given the ability to input the location where you drank it...the app currently only allows you to select from a list of restaurants near your current location so if you don't enter the information real time, you can't go back later and enter this.

Love it!. This is the best wine Ap around! Extremely user friendly. Scanner has worked for me 98% of the time which makes it simple to research a wine or to add it to your cellar. There have been very few wines that I have searched that I could not find info on. I was drinking a bottle from a friend's cellar that I enjoyed very much...with this Ap I was able to scan it, make tasting notes and add it to my "Want It" list. Made it so easy to find it later and add it to my own collection. In the past I would taste a bottle I loved, vow to remember what I loved about it then add it to my collection. Invariably I would forget everything about it by the time I got home; so the "want it" feature alone makes this Ap well worth the money! Once you have created your cellar, you can sort bottles by the optimal drinking window, vintage or the top rated in your collection. Whether you are a dyed in the wool Oenophile or a wine novice you can't go wrong with this Ap!

To much work to save the name of wines.. It has a great selection of finding wine. But i would love when you find the wine your looking for on the program that you can add it to your favorite wine list. Not have to go to another web site to add all the info and a site that wants you to pay for more services. It allot more work then I want it to be. I want to see a wine or look up a wine that a friend tells me and save it once i found it all on the iphone. If you try thing on this program you will have to go to a website then come back to the program to get the info. had to be something better and strait forward out there. Not worth the 4.99 at all. Just has a great database.

Developer feedback/response. Twice in the last two weeks I have received almost instant personal responses from the app development side to questions posed about problems I was having. Yes u are originally given an auto response but in my case I had follow ups. And on the web there is a substantial forum community via the app web site where you can see developer feedback posted to questions asked And the developer of ct is unveiling a beta of a whole new improved ct

Solid app, good updates over time. Have used this, with Cellartracker, to manage my wines for a few years. Interface has improved over time, always found it easy to figure out what I have and when I should drink it. A few times used it to figure out if a wine was really a good deal or not. The community ratings are generally good, although there is of course some give and take on these things. If you are looking for an intuitive app to manage wine on your iPhone, this app is a winner!

Bar Codes Great, The UI - Not so much. I have been desperately searching for a barcode app like this to help me with selections at the local wine stores. Being able to access reviews without tediously typing each wine that interests me is a godsend and the reason for the high review. However, the "My Cellar" function seems to work erratically, with wines I have drank disappearing sometimes and others still appearing. I would love to just scan wines at the store, add them to my cellar when they are at home, and review them after I drink them and access my reviews for drank wines. Please fix the confusing, erratic interface.

Best by far. After reviewing several applications for wine reviews and cellar managing, including multiple iPhone applications, other internet-based and one desktop software (not inexpensive), I arrived at the conclusion tha this is among the most if not the most comprehensive, but certainly the most practical, which makes it possible for us - very busy people who enjoy good wine- to manage our cellar and share experiences with our peer wine lovers. Thanks to the developers for a truly fantastic resource.

It's Great. We've looked for years for electronic wine cellar software and I think this one finally hits the spot. It interfaces with CellarTracker and the new beta version of CT, GrapeStories. The best part of this functionality is the barcode scanner (iPhone) which allows you to add and remove bottles from your cellar really quickly. No need to buy silly barcode scanners anymore. The only thing I wish they'd add is a field that allows you to map where (the bin) you placed the bottle in your cellar.

Excellent app -2 things. This is a fantastic app except for two items, and I understand why these two issues exist. First, the barcode scanning is great but very limited. Not the developers fault however, as the barcode databases will take time to accumulate. Second, with 64 GB on my iPod touch, but only wifi, I would really like a downloadable updatable database on my iPod. Can't get wifi in my wine shop. I know this was developed for iPhone, not iPod touch, but now it would be nice as the iPod touch is basically an iPhone without the phone

Really Fantastic!. This app is great! It is easy to use, well designed and beautiful. The first thing I did with it was search for a couple bottles that happened to be sitting in front of me (sadly, empty) and the app found them and knew all about them. It has ratings, reviews, even a picture of the bottle. I love it! So far the only problem that I can see with this app is that it is probably going to make me drink more.

Great app for wine collectors and drinkers. This is a great app if you collect wine or if you are trying to check on a wine to purchase or drink. It brings information from cellar tracker with almost 300,000 very active users, notes on 1,200,000 wines ( and growing). The users of cellar tracker have over 27,000,000 bottles of wine in their cellar. More info than any of the wine sites, and better quality ratings than many of the experts. The group tends to score lower than the experts, but almost always very reliable. Highly recommend if you enjoy wine.

Still having inventory problems also. Yes, we have inventory issues like other reviewers here have noted. Bottles long gone continue to show up. And I dislike having to 'drink' only one bottle at a time, then to be told - when I try to 'drink' bottle #2 - that I've already drunk 1 bottle with the same rating on that same day. (It's entirely feasible to drink 2-3 bottles of wine at a dinner party with 6 people total...) That said, this version is a much improved experience than previous ones. I like the red circle summaries of how many bottles I have for each vintage displayed on one page, for instance.

You CAN ADD to your inventory directly from your iPhone. These guys need a better marketing dept :). I looked at their website (info kind of sparse) and read some reveiws (some of which were FALSE) and decided to take the plunge and toss $3.99 at it. Turns out I got lucky! It is pretty amazing. You simply type a wine into the search field, when it finds it (FOUND two obsure French Bordeaux's) you select it, and there is a nice little button "Add". Works flawlessly! Great App!!!

Great now hopefully improving soon. So far I love the app. I'm finally getting my wines organized. The barcode scanner is nice but hasn't been finding many of my wines this far. Hopefully this will be improved soon. It would be nice to be able to edit the CellarTracker content from the app. The only gripe I have isn't with the app at all it's with the companion website that is required. CellarTracker has one of the mist inelegant user experiences of any website I've used. I don't know if there is a solution to that problem but I'd like to see one.

A welcomed addition.... ...to Cellar Tracker. Depending on your individual wine storage situation, this app will range from "somewhat useful" to "can't live without it." The best use for me is being able to locate a wine in my cellar, "drink" the wine (which can include rating it and sharing on social media, as well as writing private or public notes. This process also "removes" your consumed wine from your inventory---all this without having to boot up the desktop or iPad version of Cellar Tracker. Cellar Tracker still excels when adding wines to your inventory. All this works very well, and the periodic bugs are usually exterminated in a reasonable period of time.

Great app. This is a full featured wine app. It is well organized and easy to navigate. There are thousands of bottle that are easily searched. It is great for tracking and archiving your tastings but be prepared to put in the time to make it meaningful. The app also has a very thorough explanation of varietals, regions and vintages. As with any app that encourages user critiques, it can be difficult to discern the knowledgable critique from the unknowledgeable. A nice addition would be wine food pairings. Overall, best wine app found.

Needs improvement and bug fix.. Too many steps to add wines, poor choices in regards to defaults, and some big bugs in the program. Defaults to non cellar bottle when selecting "drink". Why??? When adding there too many steps and sometimes it doubles the number of bottles. Could not figure out the steps to cause the double count but its a major flaw as I was hoping to use this to track my stash. Also if you notice the mistake there is no way to adjust the bottle count. You have to pick a non valid reason that says you drank it, dropped it, gave it away instead of an adjustment for software defect. Not the best app but don't know of another alternative nor do I want to re enter 250 bottles in another app so I'm sticking to it.

Great Overall But Needs Improvement. There are so many things this app excels at, from reviews to scanning capability. I always try to take it to restaurants and wine stores to assess pricing and whether I am getting a fair deal. My one complaint, and it is significant to me, is that it does not seem to accurately track inventory. Lots of bottles long gone still appear. I take the time to enter bottles in and out, and while I could certainly miss a few, there are whole groups of wines from years past still showing up that are long gone. I would like to know if anyone else is having this experience.

Love and use this app - Feature Request. I love and use this app, which is very handy if I'm looking at a selection of wines I'm not familiar with. One feature that would be very helpful would be retention of the last 10 or 20 bottles scanned - esp when I'm shopping and trying to pick out a couple of bottles. (Currently once you've scanned a bottle's barcode and moved on, there's no way to access the previous bottle (w/o rescanning the previously-scanned bottle. Jack

Major Lack of Basic Features. I can't believe this app was rolled out without some of the most basic features. As others have said, you better type your entries perfectly the first time because there is no option to edit or delete. Unbelievable. Why would the developers leave out such a necessary feature? Also, there is no ability to add your own pictures, which doesn't make sense considering so much of the wine database doesn't have pictures. You also cannot add your own wine, so if it isn't featured in the database, you're SOL. What I do like about this app is the barcode scanning feature. It's not 100%, but it's a lot better than I expected considering the other features this app is lacking. I find that other wine tracking apps focus heavily on wine cellar management, but what i really wanted was just an app to document wines I've purchased and this is perfect for that. I really hope the developers update soon and add many new features and a more Apple-like user interface. I'll continue to use it but I'll still be on the look-out for a better app.

Almost Perfect. An excellent app, great compliment to the wonderful Cellar Tracker web site. The app makes it super easy to look up reviews for wines I find at shops and to make notes about wines I read about. I also find it wonderfully useful for tracking my own cellar, especially the ability to scan UPC codes as well as the barcodes generated by CellarTracker. I only wish I could enter new wines for the app (only available via the website now due to a limitation of the sites APIs, or so I gather). The UI artwork is a little cheesy, but it is highly functional. As soon as it reaches functional parity with the CT website, I'll give 5 stars, otherwise 4 for now.

The BEST app for tracking my wine. I love this app. I tried about five other apps before finding this one. The barcode scan works with almost every wine I've tried after about 3 weeks of use. The scan makes wine data entry quick and accurate, because it draws from their extensive database, so all fields are completed automatically and accurately. With every other app I tried, entry was very inconsistent and tediously slow. I would give it 5 stars if there were a way to enter wine cellar bin locations without going to their web site. Short that one complaint, I couldn't be happier.

One minor flaw. I ordered some wine and entered shipping arrival date. Once that date passed, I thought the wine would show up as in my cellar. It said pending, with no way to change that in the app. I changed it via cellar tracker after looking around. I thought that it should automatically switch over from pending if the arrival date was in the past. Otherwise I use this to keep track of what I have, what I like, and when it's the best time to drink the wines. I recommend it, just don't bother with shopping info....

Application Failed -- No Tech Support. I get the following message: Application Failed. If Ct_user provided, then Ct_pass must be as well. I am a CT user but no options are given after the message except "Quit". I paid for this months ago & still waiting to use it. No response to an email I sent regarding this issue. Very frustrating. Nothing listed on the Rss feeds. Finally the app is working & it is so convenient. Updating my inventory -- adding & removing -- is so easy. I love how I can get info about almost any wine.

Good But Not Great. I like this App, but it does not have the ability to show that you drank more than one bottle at the same meal. If you drink more than one bottle, you need to enter "Drink" as many times as bottles drunk. It would be nice if there was an option to select the number of bottles drunk, rather than the default of one. Also, I keep wine in several cellars and move them when the inventory in one gets too low. They need to add a feature allowing one to transfer wines between cellars.

Love it. So far, I simply love it. Very intuitive and easy to use. I use my iPhone to scan the labels and if I am in a WIFI area the site is very fast. One single glitch: in the "where was this purchased" field, when I add a new store or a winery sometimes it saves it and some other times when I go back the name is no longer listed among the options. I wish it saved it so I wouldn't have to reenter it each time. Hopefully they will address it. Overall, a great service.

Good wine app, but not great. I'm committed to the app, having put all my wines on it, but I don't love it. Have to go into the web site too often to edit holdings, since you can't edit on the app. Still, it's the best wine app out there. Really like that you can sort your cellar by vintage, location, etc. Helps you know how many bottles you have of a particular vintage. Just wish you could do more on the app. Also the bar scanner is of no use. Just type in the info off the bottle & don't waste your time on the scanner. Would like to be able to input my own notes on the app, but can't do that, have to go to the web site.

Awesome app. This app allowed me to record my entire 425 bottle collection in about 8 hours. That time includes moving boxes around and organizing. It probably took me less than a minute to search for a bottle and record it. I only rated it four stars because I think the user interface could be better. Searching and adding bottles to your cellar takes a few too many clicks. The barcode database is also fairly limited, maybe finding the right bottle 50% of the time. Otherwise it is a great app and worth the price.

Great App. I use a wine journal concurrently with this app so it's shortcomings (they are limited) do not impact my record keeping on the whole. As previously stated being able to view past records from my iPhone would be a great move forward but until that day I will plod along with my multiple information streams. On the whole a very very good app. I especially enjoy the compare feature. Looking forward to the next update. Would like to see the ability to add locations and comment on where and how a wine is consumed.

Buggy and clunky. The interface is clunky and the app is buggy. For instance, when scanning the camera snaps too quickly so you often get major blurs. Also, your wine cellar list (the whole reason for the app) does not update properly when adding multiple wines. Newly added wines don't show up, sometimes every wine is listed twice. And the only fix is to exit the app and restart it! You have to go online to add new vintage. Label images are haphazard, sometimes incorrect or just ugly - sometimes whole bottle (why?!) and there doesn't appear to be a way to add your own or select which one to use

Big potential! Requires 2 big fixes ASAP!. UPDATE: I think both issues have been addresses so I would be moving to 5 star but there is still one big issue - I find that 60% of wines still don't scan but they do show up when searching. The previous feature to add UPCs to a wine has been removed which is bad because now the database will become stagnant... Which is showing since scanning is fairly useless. Old review: This could be the perfect wine app if they would do 2 things: 1.) better database - I have 23 bottles in my cellar and it could only locate 14 of them! I drink a lot of local northeast vinyards and none show up, also a lot of Italian and french small volume imports just do not show up!!!! 2.) allow manual additions where the database is lax. Right now only having 50% of my cellar in the app pretty much makes it useless for the most part. This is probably very simple fixes, I suggest you fix asap before another app comes along. Overall great app that is borderline perfect.

A very valuable app. Friends from Montreal told us about their Liquor Control Board's computer program and I immediately looked for something similar for our small (300) cellar. Not only does this app do almost everything necessary, by going to Cellar Tracker, you can sort and print your wine, even make a bin location map. Being able to see our wines by "drink by" date is useful. Knowing what we have and what it is worth is even better. This app is well worth the minimal price and a subscription to Cellar Tracker is worth it as well.

OK, but could be better. Good: works with cellar tracker, barcode scanner sometimes works, handy to have iOS app inventory of your cellar, helpful list of wines that are getting past their prime drinking window. Bad: sometimes hangs on startup, retrieving info from cellartracker can be painfully slow (how about keeping a local cache of my cellar for faster response times), confusing attempts to match scanned UPC codes with newly entered wines (it isn't always the last barcode that you've scanned). Trouble zooming photos of wine bottles; why can't I do that? Other social media geegaws just clutter the app.

Needs ability to add wines. While Kazakhstan is not well known for wines, they have produced a fine wine app with access to the English cellar tracker database. Despite a large database there are plenty of wines that don't match- it would be nice if the app had a built-in feature for adding unlisted wines. In order to keep track of wines I like and my own ratings I use the cellar function and give the wine anywhere from one to five bottles (not as a true quantity but as a rating system). I'd like to use the "order details" section to enter my own personal tasting notes but this is a bug that remains - this section seems to simply evaporate when a wine is added.

The best wine App!. I am a novice to intermediate wine collector. This APP has allowed me to keep track of my cellar with cellar tracker working behind the scenes of this APP. With their extensive wine library, I have researched and learned so much. The best part of this app is you can make much better wine selections at the wine store or business dinner. They use a meta-rating system so it isn't bias to just Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, or Robert Parker. The ratings seem very much in line with my palate and you can find great values at $20 or $100 depending on your palate and price point.

4stars. Pretty cool app. There are a few issues. For example you cant edit a wine once you add it to your cellar. Also, if you have different size bottles of the same wine and vintage, you cant specify which size you drank. Out of about 50 wines, there were only 3 not in the database. Some wines you have to spell a few different ways for it to come up. Lastly, not all my wine shows up when I view my entire cellar. There is at least one not showing up, however, I can search my cellar (through search feature) and it will come up. So...a few glitches but overall a good app.

Much improved!. Works much better since the update this week. Working well with no crashes or major bugs. Looks like 90% of my issues were addressed. Great program. Thanks! __________________________________ When it works this is a great program. Problem is it crashes everytime you try to link to facebook. Then you must delete app and reload from the start. Tried on 3 phones so I know it's not just user error. I have now sent 4 emails to customer service and posted my problems on their forum but they won't even respond to me. Too bad, could have been good.

Not quite as slick as i was hoping.... A few bugs in the menus, mostly related to scrolling... Not a big deal, but it does take away considerably from an what is at first glance a very good-looking app. Also, the little red badge that shows the number of search results over the home icon won't go away when you're done searching... Not that I needed or even really wanted it in the first place. I would also appreciate more of those commercial ratings, as many of the community reviews in the database are not very helpful... Even though on average there appears to be 1.4 reviews per wine, truth is that a few wines get a lot of attention, while many get little to none. And most of that extra content in the main menu is nothing more than a hyperlink that has to be viewed in safari. I would have expected at the least to be able to access this content with an in-app browser. As it is, much of the content I am directed to is not even formatted for the iphone.

Awesome wine app. Awesome app. I have been using it to manage my cellar inventory for a few months now. I have no complaints and I paid extra for some website features that were well worth it. Just don't expect every UPC to come up as the exact wine you bought... Wineries reuse UPC numbers, but you can modify entries in you inventory. I also had wines that I brought back from overseas with no UPC. No big deal I found them by typing in the data. Their DB seems to be pretty deep. I would highly recommend this app.

Great potential. Just recently downloaded the app and it has great potential. Scanner works on about 30% of bottles as there are no uniform guidelines for bar coding worldwide. Improvements that can be made, would be to enable editing of existing inventory. I would like to go back an place notes such as outside sourced rating, my own notes as well. Also I may want to update drinking windows, pricing as values go up overtime, consumption errors... App also pushes you toward CellarTracker that coexists with Corkz. They would like a voluntary yearly donation (minimum $40)??? Corkz is fine if you source ratings and info off web or other sources and could go back and edit inventory.

Oh my wine!. I've been waiting for this app--even considered writing it myself. And the developers have done a great job on their first release. I have a few minor nits that I have reported, but the biggest issue so far has been a consistent issue with errors appearing (connection timeouts, trouble synchronizing, etc.) that the app could handle with retries fairly easily. (I was on a W-LAN for the last two hours and saw a couple dozen connection errors.) However, I am very happy with this app so far! Got me through my entire Fall Release pickups.

A great app!. This is one of the best apps I have on my iPhone and iPad. I have this linked to the Cellar Tracker website where I have entered all my wines. The database is extensive. I have yet to not find a wine I searched for. The ability to scan the bar codes is very helpful though doesn't always find the bottle - the search feature is better. But overall this is very well organized and is a great tool to keep your wine inventory and tasting notes together in one place.

Awesome!!!. I've been using this app for over a year now. Together with Cellartracker it gives me all the options I need to handle my "wine" needs. From the barcode to the wishlist I use them all. The GUI is simple to use yet very complete. You have to see how good I look when people see me at the wine depts using it. Even sales reps are impressed about how accurate and up to date information is. I am not into purchasing many of the iphone apps. But this one is worth every single penny I paid for. Excellent job my friends!!!
