- My review

I enjoy the app over all. It gives me wick stats and updates on my favorite teams when I want to follow because I can’t watch. My only complaint is that recently the notifications I have been receiving on the recap of the game is highlighting the other team (not in my favorites) even though my team has won the game and there were a lot of possible highlights.. seems very opposite of what should be happening. I would love to see the team that won the game and/or my favorite highlighted.

- Sick app for watching the same 2 commercials endlessly on repeat

This is a visionary sports app that has gone in a completely different direction, bringing fans everywhere a truly unique sports viewing experience--one totally devoid of sports! Whereas even the most unstable sports apps typically make it through several seconds of a game at a time, typically quitting immediately before a crucially pivotal play, the brainiacs here at Fox Sports have opted to skip out on the whole sports thing entirely. Instead, they have developed a killer app that replays an endless stream of the same two commercials without ever showing any sports coverage. It's no secret that Fox and CBS have always lagged behind the other sports viewing apps (ESPN, even NBC) in terms of stability. While CBS decided to start charging for their clunker of an app to convince those duped into paying that their product was actually worth something, Fox has gone in a different direction entirely. Those intrepid fans who survive the initial stability issues with the TV provider login are rewarded in due course with an uninterrupted stream of the same two commercials repeating endlessly into eternity. No longer need they fear the dropped stream just before the game-winning walk-off RBI, or a long fieldgoal attempt to take the lead as time expires. My applause for the creativity and vision that went into this. One star for not charging us.

- Could be great

The app could be great if a few things a changed. The first change is to the notifications. I don’t want to get notifications about when a game starts or ends I just want the news about that specific team. Sadly there is no option to just get the news for teams without also getting score notifications. Second is with stories. There needs to be a way to turnoff the full screen stories. There is no reason we should be forced to scroll through the main stories to get to all stories every time we get on the app. So there needs to be a way to turn it off. The third thing that needs to change is not being able to get rid of sports in stories and scores page. The only sports/leagues I care about are the NBA, MLB, and NFL so I don’t want any other sports/leagues in the story and scores tab. The last thing that need to change is when you are in stories the entire app is black but once you go to any of the other tabs the entire app turns white. There needs to be dark mode so either the entire app is white or black. It shouldn’t just change based on the tab you are on.

- Replays and live content

For about 3 months now, the option to watch replays on my phone just flat out does not work. No matter how many times I close the app, delete, and redownload the app it just refuses to allow me to watch replays. Then when I know what time shows are on frequently I click on them to watch it and it tells me it has ended or not available... How? I wanna watch first things first, comes on at 6:30am and ends at 9:30am everyday it is clicked to watch the show at 8 and it tells me the show has ended and no longer available.... how? Undisputed comes on at 9:30 how is the show over? The updates do nothing, closing the app does nothing, idk what to do, but what I do know is that I’ll be watching espn from now on since this seems to be an ongoing issue that I feel will never be fixed. I’m quite frustrated with this app, and it hurts because now I basically can’t watch Uncle Shae Sharpe talk about anything anymore. Hope you guys actually read this, and I know I’m not the only one experiencing it. Hopefully, things moving forward will change but I doubt it... Thanks for coming to my ted talk

- Cool idea, garbage execution

This app is the absolute worst. I downloaded it to watch the World Series. (I’m from Houston but work in the Permian basin) well so far I’ve seen about 30 min total of the 4 games that have been played because this absolute GARBAGE app won’t even load the game for viewing about 90% of the time and instead gives me an error message. When it does load the game, half the time it’s buffering, glitching out and force closing the app, or there’s no audio. It’s also really annoying because apparently the “live” tv is actually a couple minutes behind because I’ll be watching a batter walk to the plate and then get an update about what he did before i can actually see it for myself. Just a complete and total let down. I have Verizon with their 75gig premium unlimited plan and 3 out of 4 bars of service. Also tried on my wifi. Makes no difference. It’s the app, not the signal. Fix the app and I’ll increase the rating but considering I’m leaving this review instead of watching the end of game 4, you’re getting 1 star. Zero if I could.

- Disappointed

Yes, I must agree that I do enjoy Fox Sports because they cover a vast majority of soccer, baseball, and football games that I would like to watch. Unfortunately, Fox has failed to fix the problem associated with casting the live sportscast to a connected TV. Unlike many other streaming apps, Fox does not have the capability to cast your live broadcast to a television for ease of watching. Come on, Fox. Please just make one simple change and make it possible to watch your broadcasts that can be accessed on my phone and to allow it be cast onto a television. UPDATE: after a couple of months of writing my initial post, the app still does not have the capability to cast. In addition, as I attempted to watch the live broadcast of the ALDS, I either could not find the broadcast, or when I did the app would direct me to the App Store to download the exact app that I’m using. Fox, please fix your app so I can finally watch games on my cell phone without having to go through such an excessive and unnecessary struggle with your product.

- Great but...

This review is for the updated app. The new Fox Sports app is awesome and better than the previous app is almost every way. The layout is much more improved and there are stories to view which were not present before. The notifications have missed the mark big time for me. While the new notification sound is amazing, there are less of them now, and some bugs. I used to be able to receive a notification for every score for a favorite team, but now I only receive a starting and ending notification. No more 3 hour game reminder, no more stats, no more end of the game stats. Thankfully the exciting games notification is still there, but it incorrectly reported four no hitters which did not occur in reality. I know the app is new and may just have some bugs to squash, but I am looking forward to giving this app five stars again.

- Don’t download until this is fixed

Let me save everyone some time, the suggestion to everyone with issues is from the developer and it is: to uninstall and re-install the app. Like we haven’t tried that. Then they say contact your cable tv provider. They also say to speak to a chat agent, but the agent has been offline every time I’ve checked, and the link to the contact page is broken. Updated review - if I could go even lower than 0 stars I would. Thanks for nothing. I have been trying to log in with a tv provider to watch the World Cup, but I get the message “error loading tv provider login page” every time. I thought maybe I could create a profile to add a tv provider that way, but the reset password link doesn’t work, and I can’t create a new profile with a different email either. Why create a separate app when fox sports go worked just fine, and don’t spend any time making the new one work during actual sporting events?

- Mixed

I have both a Roku as well as AppleTV. The streaming is quite good, particularly like the 4K coverage of the World Cup fames. However, this is the third day in a row, either device, where it asks me to sign in with my TV provider despite having signed in the day before. Is this intentional (and if so, why)?! If not, why can’t it remember my log in like every other app? Another curious, repeat experience on the AppleTV version... if I’m trying to watch a Cup game in progress that has already started, no such luck. The wheel just keeps spinning indefinitely (or at least seemingly so as my patience wears out). I can select the restart option and watch the game from the beginning but not just join a game in progress. Works fine on the Roku version. Rebooted the AppleTV. Signed out and back in. No luck. Haven’t tried deleting and reinstalling the app yet.

- I don’t like the four-letter but...

I don’t care for the four-letter network, so I prefer to get my sports news from Fox. However, this app needs some serious work. For instance, the college football schedule will not update for the top 25. I have had to keep it on the SEC option for any current scores. However, ever now and then I like to see how the top 25 are doing but I can’t. It still shows me the scores from last season. With that, y’all need to make it more interactive. Update your app or I’ll have to go to your other rival, CBS. Updated review for updated app: still not a fan of the app. I liked having “my teams” front and center. Now, right when I open the app, they’re forcing stories and other teams down my throat that I personally don’t care for or about. Give me the option to put my teams’ scores/stories as the first things I see instead of your latest and greatest of what you think I want to see.

- Wilder PPV fight

I downloaded the fox sports app 3 days ago in preparation for the Wilder fight tonight. Casted a soccer match onto my tv. So today I bought the ppv event and tried casting it from my iPhone. After several attempts in chatting with technical support. They informed me that the fight couldn’t be casted. I asked them how to I get a refund and they kept apologizing without answering my question. There’s no number to contact over these issues? It blows my mind that your sight advertises it to work on ANY device. You just failed to say it won’t be able to cast but funny thing is I casted the other day. But today no it doesn’t work. I was instructed to try casting a tv show yet that didn’t work either. How are you going to run a business and have false advertising up on your page. All I want is my money back. I bought the fight to watch on my tv, not my phone. If I could give zero stars I would

- No Spoilers?! Not!!

Trying to watch the US-France World Cup match I only get a message that the app is unable to play the content, try again. To top it off it was still doing this several minutes into the game, but now when it brought me back to the Feeds screen, even though No Spoilers mode is turned on, the time and score in the game are shown in a huge font. Now I know a goal is scored early on, decreasing the anticipation since I still planned to watch the coverage from the beginning once I got in. When the app did work for other games, it did work nice. The only issue I had was once when my wifi dropped (on my end) I could only come back to coverage at the beginning or at the live point. I couldn’t rewind coverage to where I lost connection.

- Infuriating issues and lack of features

The app has some serious flaws that make it almost useless: 1. It constantly asks to resign-in to the app with tv subscription to watch program content. It seems to be every 24 hours or less. I’m watching the women’s World Cup games everyday. 2. There is no fast forward option for game replays on the Apple TV version of the app. And the iPhone version only offers 15 second increment fast forwards. When watching a replay of the World Cup games with a 30-45 minute intro before the match starts, it’s asinine to have to fast forward at 15 second increments just so I can get to the actual game starting. 3. Many issues using airplay streaming from the app on my iPhone to my Apple TV. Stream constantly seems to restart (from the very start of a replay, super annoying in particular with the lack of fast forward) with any interruption to the app.

- Slow

A quick caveat: With the most recent update (oct 30) the pages in the app literally will not load. Not sure what happened with that update, but at least for me it’s made the app completely useless. Even when it was working before the app is extremely slow as other people have indicated on their reviews. I’ve seen developer responses asking for feedback and reasons for the slowness - no idea. I’m not using the app through Facebook, I’m just using it as any normal app on my iPhone. I’m connected to great WiFi, the app has always been updated, I’m always using the current iOS, and everything else on my phone runs remarkably faster than this app. It could be that nearly all of the substantive content are videos. It could be that many of the in game headlines seem to be auto generated. Who knows. The point is, expect to spend at least 3 minutes with the app to find and load the score you’re looking for - at least based on my 6 months-ish experience with the app. It’s a shame too. ESPN is chasing a lot of us away with covering Steven A Smith being angry and Lavar Ball being stupid 20 hours a day. Suffice it to say that is may be an option if you’re sick of that too (see the above caveat about nonfunctionality), but this app cannot be recommended at this point.

- Not that good

I don’t understand the struggles with this app... it constantly makes me resign in with my cable provider and on top of that I doesn’t let me sign in with it anymore. Today when I click on the provider to sign it it loads for a minute then exits me out and won’t give me an option to sign into so I can’t watch any content... I then have to uninstall the app to attempt it again but the same problem keeps happening. for some unknown reason the Fox now app allows for casting if you have an iPad but the Fox sport go and Fox sport apps do not support casting? That doesn’t make sense to me. If you offer it one one of your apps why not carry it over to the rest, kinda common sense if you already know and have a function integrated into your apps already. Basically even though I have a cable provider I cannot log into it on this app and it’s basically useless..

- Awful App

I never usually post reviews but I had to make an exception for this one. I’ve been watching their live sports talk shows at work daily on the Fox Sport Go app for the last 2 years. Fox is now forcing you to use this app as opposed to their other app, Fox Sports Go, which was much more user friendly, allowed you to rewind and fast forward, and most of all, would always work. Not only do I always have issues playing their live shows, but it’s extremely frustrating when I lose my place in a show and I’m forced to either restart or watch live (and skip over where I left off). I don’t understand the switch, especially when the app is much worse than Fox Sports Go. If these issues aren’t fixed any time soon, I’ll have to make the switch back to ESPN and I’m sure they’ll be losing plenty of other long time fans of their shows.

- I have yet to watch a single minute of a sporting event

I have tried to watch 3 sporting events on this app. I can’t logon to my provider. It desperately wants me to make an account to synchronize my devices, despite only using one to watch games. Then there is the unresponsive links to games. I touch my screen to watch a game and I get... NOTHING! No response at all! Wow! I sure am glad this app exists to really make my cable dollars go further! Fox Sports Go was fine. At least, that is to say, it worked. I’m sure not smart enough to understand why you would replace a working app to showcase your sports prestige, with one that everyone I know calls trash. If this review isn’t deleted they might refer me to a chat link or a FAQ. But the sad truth is that it shouldn’t be this hard. And I’m not going to waste my time trying to get a simple app to work.

- Really Good!

I got the app to watch the World Cup 2018 and stay updated with the games. The app works really well and updates really fast as the game is being played along, showing you the scores seconds after on video and the hightlights right after the game. I also loved the extra info FSG would give about each country and their players. The only thing that I wish it was possible is to live stream the games from the app. I wouldn't mind paying extra for it. You can only watch on your phone if you already have a tv cable. Which I don’t. Above all I totally recommend it!!

- Unable to connect to Internet Provider

Attempted to sign in with my internet provider for the first time today (after being unable to multiple days ago). Only to be greeted with a “maximum login attempts exceeded try again in 15 minutes” message after I attempt to login. Great. I try again in 15 minutes to be greeted with the same message. Awesome. I try again in 30 minutes, and I am actually able to sign in! Yay! I go to a live broadcast and sure enough it shows that it is no longer locked, things are looking good. But when I click on it to watch, it tells me I have to sign in with my provider... I literally just did. I go back to settings and of course it asks me to sign in with my provider... again... so I do. “Try again in 15 minutes”. This bug makes the app unusable. Thanks for nothing.

- This app is terrible

Functionality is far worse than for all the other major sports networks. Makes you re login literally every time you try to stream something, and then will constantly send you in circles between login with provider and the game, and never load. The number of times I’ve been told “unable to play content” must be about 5-10x the amount of times it actually works. And if by some miracle you do get it to work, then just wait a bit, it’ll break down and then when you restart you have to start from scratch. The Fox Sports Go app always insists on sending you to this app to stream things on BTN or FS1 and its a black hole every darned time. I don’t understand why a large sports provider that is aspiring to grow cannot create an app with anything approaching proper functionality.

- No casting option?

Let me start off by saying that I have a Chromecast. I used the Fox Sports Go app for years to watch all the soccer matches I could, while casting to my tv. Now, the Go app redirects me here, and to my surprise, no option to cast the games from the app to the tv. What gives?!?! At this point, there is no real reason for me to even use this app, watching sports on my phone is not ideal. Not sure why they messed with a good thing, but I can tell you, the generic responses to all the complaints doesn’t help either, and it definitely doesn’t give the impression that they even care that their subscribers and users are unhappy. I am most likely going to delete this app, the best parts of the Go app have been thrown to side and ignored, and their unwillingness to address the problems is kind of annoying.

- Hate it!

Fox Sports Go app was a great app that had everything I was looking for, you could watch live games from various sports, and the best feature for me, being a 2nd shift worker was being able to replay the game that I missed due to working 2nd shift. But now, I try to watch anything live or replay on the Fox Sports Go app and it makes me go to this app which has no replay option. You pretty much just made your app useless for me. I’m confused why you are messing with the Fox Sports Go app that most of the time was flawless and user friendly and make those users go to this where replay option don’t exist and this thing isn’t user friendly in the least bit. Terribly disappointed and if I could rate this even lower, I would. Well it’s onto something else for me because this app is useless.

- This App Gets a Red Card!

Fox is unreliable in both their news and their sports, I can't even get past the sign up page and haven't even seen a blade of grass yet concerning this years World Cup. They just didn't prepare enough for the surge in data they'll be getting today. The servers are flooded and everything's reduced to the speed of a snail. And of course because of this, all I can do is open the app and that's it. To those of you at the corporate office that are hired for reading this and about to click on whatever pre written corporate excuse that placates the gullible: please don't bother leaving me one of those excuses. I know this problem will never be fixed because there's profits to be made and an issue like this is trivial so long as people still download the app and someone gets it to work on their phone.

- Extremely disappointed

I have multiple issues. First, the app is overall just slow. By far the slowest app on my iPad. Every time I select a menu or new page I have to wait for it to load; reminds me of old dial-up internet. Second, it crashes frequently. Third, while trying to rewatch World Cup games, the video will load with only 20min or so of game time. The rest of the video file is either the "your event will start soon" or "coverage has concluded" screens. How can you pay so much for the rights to air the World Cup and have these kinds of technical issues. Hopefully others aren't experiencing these kinds of issues and if they are Fox shouldn't be allowed to cover one of the biggest events in the world in the future.

- Needs a lot of work

I started watching World Cup today on my Apple TV and it was already about 30 min into it, so I told it to restart. About 2/3 through, it just said “program unavailable”. The game is now already over, so I’m trying to watch the replay, and cannot even fast forward to the point where it cut off. It doesn’t remember that I’ve signed in with my TV provider, so I have to authorize every day. This is without signing in with a fox account, but on the same Apple TV. So I created an account, thinking that may help. Still cannot fast forward the replay even after waiting for the commercials to play. So what do I have to do if I want to watch the last 30 minutes of the game? I have to let it play all over. Come on Fox. You can do better than this.

- Too poor to use...

Cannot watch a game. Just keeps redirecting and making me watch women’s World Cup off coverage. The app is telling me to download itself. When I click it, it redirects me to the App Store to download the app I am using. Then goes right back to the screen I was on. Audio has been terrible in other matches. All together, if it’s not topbilled then it’s not working correctly. Edit: thanks for reaching out with a survey Fox. I would suggest just reading the comments since the beginning of the year. It’s just a bad app. Basic functions don’t work. The consideration for the viewer is clearly disregarded. This is one of the worst apps I’ve seen or had to use to the point that I just don’t use Fox anymore to view what I’m looking for. Fox sports go was serviceable but isn’t being used anymore...?

- Unforgivably Bad on an iPad

Please inform the engineering team who wrote this embarrassing agglomeration of ones and zeroes that an iPad is not simply a large iPhone. In particular, the home screen should not force me to use my iPad in portrait mode. And, when I start streaming a video, it should not present it to me upside down (yes, I prefer to have my home button on the left, not the right). Once you fix these glaring flaws, it would also be nice if this app were to actually open the program I’ve selected in the Fox Sports Go app when that relatively delightful piece of software informs me that I must use this abomination in order to watch that event. Better yet, why not scrap this app, and go back to presenting streaming video in the Fox Sports Go app? I feel as though I’m being abused for no particularly good reason.

- Good but BIG problem

This apps works fine except for one major thing. I’m trying to watch the US Open (golf) and when I open up the live stream after entering my tv provider, many times it says “unable to play.” That’s all it says. I try again and again waiting a good bit between tries and it doesn’t work. This is extremely frustrating. This happens both on WiFi and Cellular. I have an iPhone 6 on the latest iOS and just downloaded the app a couple of days ago. PLEASE fix this for future viewers as it is EXTREMELY irritating and furthering my negative opinion of FOX sports coverage of this event. Thank you for your hard work and hope to see you guys next year back and better than before.

- Just don’t.

I can’t voice my frustration with this app better than this email. I’d like to thank you for being the most worthless TV app I have. I’m required to log in with my Directv information, which is understandable, but on two separate occasions I was kicked out of viewing the only program I begrudgingly downloaded your app to watch; both of these occurred in the span of one half of a game. When I logged in for the fourth time and verified my information for the same amount of times (yes of course I have FS1 as part of my TV package otherwise I would not have considered downloading this app), I gave up and moved on to other platforms. Whether I use my Apple TV, iPhone app, or PC login, I am unable to use your service. I knew I shouldn’t have even downloaded this app because I have literally never had any luck with any version of any Fox app I have ever tried using. Please keep up with technologies which other networks seem to have little to no trouble getting to function. Thank you so much for actively working to ensure I am unable to use your services for which I have already paid. Sincerely, I know you don’t actually care.

- Developer clearly doesn’t listen to its customers

Typical television app developer. Doesn’t listen to any complaints of functionality issues. Clearly this developer spent so much time appeasing fox sports about how the app looks, they neglected to work on its function. You need perfect WiFi or cell service for this app to work properly. I have better luck walking through Brooklyn peaking into bars playing the game than I do using this app. Forget use on the metro north ! I watched maybe 10 whole minutes of Belgium Panama game. The rest of my time has been spent with fuzzy unrecognizable images. The mere fact that the developer responds to reviews and nothing has changed, shows the could care less. I’d rather rip streams off reddit than continue using this clown app. Hire a real developer fs1

- Terrible app

This app is terrible. It’s the only app I constantly have problems streaming. If a game I want to watch is on Fox I make it a point to be at home to watch it, because I know the app won’t work. Considering the largest sporting event is taking place, one would think that the developers would have worked to improve it. I log in and all I see is a black screen. The live tv function doesn’t work. I attempt to sign in with my TV provider and it says I’m authorized to view content and nothing. I delete the app, I reinstall it I’m connected to WiFi and nothing. Again, none of the other sports streaming apps or apps in general have this issue. This is actually the worst app I use. How unfortunate that I’ll be unable to stream the World Cup, because this app won’t work.

- Great App When It Wants To Work

For the past week I’ve been trying to watch Team USA in the Women’s World Cup thru the app. When it works the pic is great. Clear, no buffering. The last two games the app inexplicably logged me out and just kept giving an error when I tried to log back in. When I was able to log back and selected the match to watch it would give another error. “Not able to play content.” Today was new..it’d play for about five minutes and then just close the app on it’s own out of nowhere. I’ve really only used this app for World Cup coverage in the past so I can’t say whether this is a regular thing but either way this is the worst time to have these kind of issues

- Please log into your tv provider again.

Logs into tv provider. Clicks game to watch. “Please login to your tv provider again.” Logs in again. Sees key icons removed. Clicks game to watch. “Please login to your tv provider again.” Logs out, reinstalls app, logs in. “Please login to your tv provider again.” Smashes phone into oblivion out of frustration. Begins attempt on direct website on computer. “Your show is either finished or no longer available.” Breaks computer since already out of patience. Goes to bar since out of home electronics. Drinks pain away while watching game at bar. Can’t call anyone for ride home because cell phone is broken. Too drunk out of frustration and gets arrested for public intoxication. Can’t afford court fees because can’t work because computer is broken. Goes into extreme debt and for-closes on house. Live under overpass. Dies wishing Fox Sports would fix their login. You’re a multi million dollar broadcasting company and you aren’t able to let the people watch what they already pay for because your apps AND your website is broken. I wish Disney would buy you out. Just sad.

- Lazy big corporation

It is unbelievable that a company this size, with so many important licenses, can get away with such a horrible app. Horrible UI, horrible customization, and live events only work half the time. I am prompted to sign in to my tv provider every single time I try to use the app (sometimes more than once) and when I do log in I get the “Unable to play” message over half the time. This app has turned me off from watching more Bundesliga games. It’s simply not worth the effort. Fox knows people need to use their app to watch certain events so they don’t bother investing in improving it. I’ve had enough and will stop. I would rather look for illegal streams. Hopefully others do the same until they get it together.

- What fix what isn’t broken

This app is a mess! No soccer games that are on Fox Sports ever work on this app! Fox Sports Go worked great. This app is a pile of trash. Here are all the issues I’ve ran into: Click on a game to watch, sent to Apple Store to download. What?!?! Go to app to watch game. Game non-existent under Live TV. Told to sign in to provider. I click on appropriate provider. Page then sends me back to the page I was just on. Repeat over and over. Actually find Live video link. Click play. Two different messages pop up. Either “No videos exist for this game,” or “Game is complete” (even though the game has just started). In short, I’ve had this app since June. As of July 21, I haven’t successfully watched ZERO games on this app because of the continued problems. If I could give a -1000 stars, that still wouldn’t be enough negative stars. The worst part of all of this? People have stated these problems over and over on this ratings page, yet Fox has done nothing to resolve these problems. It’s almost like the company doesn’t care. As if they are just saying to all of us, “Go Fox yourselves!”

- Inconvenient

The app interface is locked in portrait orientation, until a live stream is opened then it’s locked in landscape orientation. And further live streams cannot be reduced so you can multi-task which the image floating in one of the corners (as you can in Fox Sports Go). Strangely, the videos that are not live, can be viewed in either orientation or portrait, and can be reduced. Additionally, the app interface is crowded and cluttered with streams pushing you back and forth between this app and Fox Sports Go. I wish the orientation problem would be addressed and the ability to multi-takes during the live streams. So I can check my email without closing the game or going to my other devices.

- Why the switch?

Over the last couple years, I have enjoyed watching spirts and live shows on the Fox Sports Go app. It was the best streaming app out there because of its reliability and features. You could rewind to any point you wanted, pause the live stream, and you wouldn’t lose your place if you clicked off of it, unlike many other apps. One day I opened up the app, and clicked on a soccer game that I wanted to watch. I was greeted with a message that I had to switch to this app. Now the features I love are gone, and replaced with a glitchy generic streaming service that has fallen behind the competition. Bottom line: Fox Sports Go passed the baton to this app with a huge lead, and Fox Sports Live lost it within seconds.

- Notifications stink

UPDATED rating from 2 stars to 1 based on developer canned response and even LESS helpful chat with support on their page. They basically confirmed that app updates will cause notifications that I do not want to be turned on. A really dumb bug they should fix. Original 2-star review: "EXCITING GAME!" notifications keep getting turned on and I've turned them OFF about 4 times now. Super annoying - I don't care about a baseball game in June with 2 teams I don't even cheer for! I like getting updates and notifications but when simple preferences aren't saved it's tough. Especially when ESPN does it just fine. Headed back there if I have to update those settings yet again.

- So refreshing

I had the ESPN app for the longest time and was tired of them pushing things I didn’t want to the top. Fox Sports app however puts your favorites at the top and still has a ton of constant clips and updates you can scroll through after you’ve already seen your favorite sports and teams. Totally customizable and I love it. The only thing I would add is the ability to add people who play singles sports like golf as I can add just my favorite golfer. Other than that great app !

- Absolute worst app for sports!!

This has to be one of the worst apps to try and watch an event on. Notice the word “try”. The app never saves the login information and 80% of the time after you enter your info again, it doesn’t take you off the login screen. This forces you to close the app and attempt again. If by some grace of god it manages to work, when you choose the game you would like to watch you’ve got a 50/50 shot at getting an “unable to play this content” message. The only positive quality to this app and the only reason it gets two stars is that it’s updated faster than ESPN And CBS sports. If you’re actually trying to watch though, don’t even bother.

- RUINED IT WITH NEW APP. WILL NOT USE ANYMORE

If I could give negative stars I would, I am honestly extremely disappointed. You guys had a good app, and went and littery destroyed everything that was good about it. I used to use it to watch a gambling show (Lock it in). It comes on while I work at my liquor store. I used to be able to watch it while working, BECAUSE YOU COULD PAUSE. But nope, some idiot at Fox decided that wasn’t worth keeping. On top of that, I used to be able to place bets while watching the show, but now, when you exit the app, IT STOPS THE SHOW?!?! Thats was such an amazing feature, why in gods name would you ever take that away? Are you intentionally trying to shed users? Congrats! You succeeded. I am gone.

- I’d love to use this app but...

No matter how hard I have tried, After signing into my spectrum TV service successfully, after having a full 100% usable internet connection, and after downloading both the Fox Sports app and the Fox SportsGO App have never had a positive experience. I use an iPhone XR with unlimited data and I have home WiFi and it just wont work. When I go to FSGo it tells me programming will open in the FS app. Then when I go to that app it won’t play anyway. Then it will tell me to switch between both apps telling me a program on one need the other to work and visaversa. I haven’t used any fox sports app in more than 2 years now. Just wanna watch the Sox/yanks from London.

- Slow...and not very interactive

As a former ESPN follower, FS needs to improve its platform user interface. When looking at standings, you cannot link a team to another "page" on that team (there is no link). That is important when following a specific team and using the standings to dig to a deeper level. Also, although it is informative, it is excessively slow. Load time is slow, page change is slow, and sometimes pages don't upload at all. Needs work - but I despise ESPN, so will live with current FS regardless.

- Superb .....

Well I've actually had the app since I got the ph in December 2013, but never messed or used it til 2 days ago. I didn't realize how helpful it is, keeps all my interests organized and I'm not so jumbled w all the things I want to watch that come on all at the same time! I would recommend this app to anyone that loves sports! Keeps u very informed and up to date! I love it! Use it don't just let it sit on the screen as art decor!!! Awesome app! Props to who's grand idea this was.....

- Crashes and Bugs

Watching sports on a tiny screen is not my cup of java, so all the whingeing about video streaming issues is a big “meh” in my book. What I want from a sports app is schedules, scores, news and the occasional video replay. I got this app because I’m sick of ESPN and everything they are doing these days, and while the interface design is good, the app is often slow and it crashes frequently, including every time I try to use the “pick my teams” feature. It’s quite annoying. If they fix the crashes I would give this four stars, and five if they also make it work at 2018 speed.

- Don’t waste you time with the Fox apps

If y’all reading this, go to the website if you want to watch full shows. The whole point of FS1 app sending you to this app is for clicks and usage. Delete these apps and just go to the website. You can full episodes of shows there. These Fox apps are a waste of time so stop complaining and whining, delete the apps, and use the websites. It’s obvious the complaints are on deaf ears. FS1 app use to allow you to watch full episodes of show like Undisputed but the powers that will always mess up a good thing. It’s was too good to let customers deal with one app so they figured to add some more crap that doesn’t work so they can get usage rates up.

- Fox Sports app

I am so impressed, happy, and grateful with this app that it would take a whole month to talk about all of its benefits. It is a versatile app with programs and features for all audiences. The HD image gives an impressive detail of the show you want to see at the moment. I am currently enjoying the soccer World Cup but I will certainly keep using it for more future events. Ig is available 24/7 and you can access your programs wherever you go. It is awesome.

- FoxSports is terrible

I hope FoxSports never gets the World Cup broadcast again. First, they only have one channel that is on basic cable so if you don’t have FS1, you didn’t get to see a lot of the early games. Secondly, their broadcasters are terrible. They say the same things over and over again and don’t add to the game. Finally, they only show 90 seconds of highlights so if you miss a game, you hardly get to see what happens. The highlights are so short that you can’t see how a goal develops and you often don’t get multiple angles of the play. FoxSports shouldn’t get soccer anymore as it is clear they don’t know what they are doing and they haven’t put the resources into it.

- Beyond disappointing

No company has single handedly dropped the ball then the Fox sports franchise. When 3/4ths of the country wants to dump ESPN because it’s turned into a sports themed CNN they basically handed Fox sports millions of customers on a silver platter yet FS continues to churn out underwhelming products. From television to their website to their apps. As for the app, I don’t want to flip through 12 stories. I want to see the headlines all at once and choose which stories I wish to read. You literally could not make the app any worse. I beg Fox sports to put someone in charge that understands that people are begging for an alternative to ESPN. Please turn out a product that isn’t totally garbage.

- WHY ARE YOU MESSING WITH THE APP??

I used to watch replay of undisputed or other shows on Fox Sports Go. Now I have to watch on Fox Sports which is trash!!!!! You make me sign in to my cable provider just for all the live tv shows to all disappear RIGHT AFTER. I can edit my favorites for news updates. I can’t edit my sports to what I like. Then on the browser when I can finally actually watch the stupid show there’s no timestamp bar to fast forward or rewind anything so I have to watch it in complete entirety or start all the way over. You guys had a great thing going with FSG and you have totally ruined my whole point of even having these apps. So they will be deleted. Such a shame.

- Could Be Better

I hate to say it, but the ESPN app is better in the sense that it allows for game alerts to be set as notifications, while this app does not. Since Fox is doing more shows and situations where they put the Vegas odds on the games, it’d be nice to see the live odds and lines placed with the games and alerts for each game. This way if I get alert that the lines changed in game, I can go in and set bets and adjust with real time information. I like Fox better than ESPN but ESPN has the better app l, for now...

- Ever since

Ever since they went to two different apps for watching live events (Fox Sports & Fox Sports GO), it’s an absolute mess with some programming being on one and not the other. Biggest problem I am having is Fox Sports does not always list the sporting event I want to watch, instead its on Fox Sports GO. Fox Sports GO tends to not allow me to login through my cable provider. So most of the time, I can’t watch anything on that app. How about you have some common sense and put all of the streaming events on ONE app? I know this is a stubborn thing to say, but it’s true; If my FOX Sports continues to have issues, I will be deleting the app permanently and not watch any of their programming.

- ESPN still > Fox

There is a reason ESPN is the Worldwide Leader in Sports. They not only have good content, but they also know how to run an app. Fox, on the other hand, consistently has bugs in their apps. To begin with, every time I open the app I’m prompted to enter my TV carrier info (the app never remembers it). Secondly, once I log-in, the list of live tv options at the top of the screen suddenly goes away; I literally have no way of then watching live content which is the only reason I have this app. I don’t know what was wrong with the Fox Sports Go app but everything worked smithy on that. This app, on the other hand, lacks even the most basic functions.

- Disappointed

Fox sports go was a polished app, good feature support. This app has bugs (ie., after I started a video, the app decided to ask me about my preferences and fav teams, which stopped the video). But worst two features: being locked into portrait orientation until video starts, and NO AIRPLAY SUPPORT!!!! This is maddening as I can’t get any 4K stream of the World Cup. Update: yes it does seem to have airplay, so just minor annoyances left to get this app up to the quality of fox sports go.

- Streams like a pre2014 app, horribly

This is possibly the worst attempt at live streaming a major media company has produced in the past 5 years. Where did they get these app programmers from? If you ask me, these “app developers” pulled a fast one on FOX and stole a lot of money to give them this trash. Streaming is at the worst resolution imaginable. Live sports looks like it came off an 8bit Nintendo using a coax cable. The sound? Garbled. Commentators sound like they’re speaking underwater. Maybe FOX just didn’t spend money on proper bandwidths? Maybe these app developers are just thieves who swindled FOX with this garbage app. Either way, anyone who uses this app loses time they will never get back in life. Beware.

- Fox Sports really screwed up

They don’t realize how many people are not using their app, because of this horrible update. I’m debating not using it just because there is no rewind or fast forward option like there is on fox sports go. If I miss something I guess I have to restart the program or hit the rewind 15 second option about 10 times. Or if you have already started watching the program at your house and you want to watch it on the go you can no longer do that because you have to watch the whole entire show. Not user friendly at all, and by far the worst update for a sports app... they should really be ashamed.

- OU VERSUS IOWA STATE NCAA Football game Nov 9th, 2019

Unable to watch because I have DISH FOR A PROVIDER and the Disagreenent between FOX and DISH isTERRIBLE! It seems to happen every FALL when SPORTS ARE WATCHED, this includes THE THUNDER Broadcasts! Why do the viewers have to SUFFER THRU THESE CONFLICTS???? Come on , LET YOU VIEWERS BE ABLE TO WATCH YOUR BROADCASTS! I’m retired and on a set income! I can’t keep changing my provider! PLEASE GIVE A THOUGHT TO YOUR RETIRED VIEWERS WHOS ENJOYMENT IS WATCHING YOUR SPORT BROADCASTS! Get in the CHRISTMAS SPIRIT AND THINK ABOUT THESE RETIREES YOU LOOK FORWARD TO THE FALL SPORT BROADCASTS OF THEIR HOME TEAMS! I KNOW I’M NOT BY MYSELF, PLEASE MAKE THESE RETIREES HAPPY!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😢😢😢🏈🏈🏈🏀🏀🏀

- Amazing app!

I come to use this app anytime I want to see a score, how the game played out, what players are playing, anything like that. They have it all! This app has everything you could possibly need without having to take the time to watch the game. It also has highlights and recaps of the games which is awesome. The app tells you the commentary too, which is amazing bc no other sports app I had did that. I love, love, love this app!

- Fox sports go switch to fox sports.

The fox sports app is trash. Especially if you want to watch the herd or skip and Shannon. The fox sports go app was much better because you could sign in to tv provider and watch freely but the fox sports app doesn’t have any link or anything to even watch any programming freely. It’s trash don’t use it. Shouldn’t have made the switch. I can’t even watch what I want because the app doesn’t work and freezes half way through and you can’t skip or fast forward as far as 15 seconds. If the show freezes more than half way through I’m not going to skip 15 seconds at a time to get back to where I was. TRASH APP!

- Ok, but could be way better

First off, this app has tons of potential, but right now it is struggling. The layout is very unique but kind of inconvenient. If this app is going to explain they need to change the layout and make it simpler. Besides these, the notifications are great. They tell you if there is an exciting game, and give you a summary of your teams game with every score. Keep it up FOX, this app can really improve.

- NO LIVE STREAM! Only scores!

as the title suggests, watch the game live which isn't true at all which is why I'm sure most people downloaded the app The bad 1- no live stream! 2- very buggy app crashes and none of the videos work, if you're lucky once in a while (iPhone X running iOS 11.4) with the latest app update. 3- app design looks cool but is completely unusable in terms of user interface where you have a weird stock screen Everytime you open the app and have to manually navigate to the world cup section even though that all you have setup to monitor The Good 1- design! Overall app looks awesome and is good to look at but not use 2- shows scores accurately and pushes the correct game scores with a nice short description of the actual play and player who scored. 3- has a nice highlight section which has some interesting video titles (was not able to see a single video but none the less it was interesting)

- No Chromecast functionality

As the title says - you cannot cast from the Fox Sports app to your TV. This is embarrassing. Literally every other network app gives you the option to cast from their iOS app. So if you like watching sports broadcast on Fox on your phone then you’re in luck! However, if you’re someone who expects a major company to provide basic viewing options to customers then you’re going to be disappointed. It’s worth mentioning that the Fox Sports Go app still allows you to use Chromecast. That’s great! Unfortunately, literally every game forces you to open the Fox Sports app instead...with no option to cast. Complete joke.

- Terrible App

Explain to me why I have to delete my app and reinstall it EVERYDAY in order to watch these World Cup games. My cable provider is appropriate. Yet, every new day I get on the FoxSports app it tells me the video can’t be loaded or my cable provider doesn’t cover this program. IT DID YESTERDAY AND IT DOES WHEN I REDOWNLOAD THE APP. I’m not the only person having this issue. I have several friends who are having the exact same problem using different style phones, have different logins and use different cable providers. It’s not us, it’s the app. It’s terrible and I would never use it if I didn’t have any other way to watch the games when I’m not at home.

- Freezes. No progress bar or fast forward on full video.

Ridiculous! For the replay of Women’s Football (aka Soccer) World Cup the only way to skip over the hour long pre-game blather is to hit the 15 sec forward button 240 times? Why is there a progress bar with position controls on the 90 second summary video where it’s really not needed, but not on the full video? Then is freezes just before half time and the only option to get back to that time in the video is to hit the 15 second skip 420 times? Only to have it freeze again after 5 minutes? 0 stars if it only were an option on the App Store.

- Not available in landscape mode on iPad

The app isn’t great compared to other sports app that are available on the platform. 2 of my biggest concerns have to do one with content and 2 with usability. First of all why are there very few articles written. I don’t want to catch up on every news or update in a video form. I would like some quality written articles with great journalism. Not sound bytes on loop. The other is how on earth is there no landscape mode. The app loads in landscape mode but then reverts to portrait mode to view the home page and all the articles. Very disappointed.

- Way better than espn

I've been using the ESPN app for years just because I didn't know there were other options. I've been getting tired of ESPN slipping politics into their news feed so I deleted the app and found this one which I seem to like a lot more anyway. It's layout is much better and make it easier to follow your favorite teams. I had to downgrade their rating to 3 stars because they sent me stupid soccer updates and I can’t put up with that crap. There better be a way to turn that soccer crap off

- Disgusted

Back in March I paid my annual subscription to Fox Soccer Match Pass so that I could follow the advertised Rugby League coverage. In June, Fox decided to cease their cover of non-soccer sports in mid-season. Did Fox make an announcement, NO, they simply stopped showing these sports. After several weeks of no new rugby programming, I made an enquiry as to the status of Fox’s coverage of these sports and they informed me that they were not showing non-soccer sports for the foreseeable future. I was delighted that they apologized for the inconvenience 🤔😡. I followed up with another note requesting a refund, again they responded with an apology for the inconvenience. So I followed up a 3rd time explaining that they had not answered my actual request. Five weeks later this note has received absolutely zero response. I am not sure that this type of change in policy is legal given that coverage of this sport was included in all of their advertising I would be interested in everyone’s view on this topic. #FoxSoccer

- Forced Switch from Fox Sports Go

Recently, many of the shows or events are being directed through this app (which I had to download) rather than the Fox Sports Go app. I had used that one previously for years with no issues. This app is much less user-friendly. To watch an event replay, I have to find it on the Go app and be directed here, since this one only seems to show the score on earlier events. Then the app will crash, making it impossible to watch anything. All of which is extremely frustrating since there has been a working app for years. Don’t understand the purpose of the change.

- Fox Sports Go had way more functionality

You decommissioned Fox Sports go and moved the content to this app and brought none of the functionality with it. Replaying the show and being able to stop/start it when I’m ready was great during work. This one always times out, you can’t stop it and lag behind live or it will just keep buffering as it fasts forward. My only question is why? Why take good functionality away? Updates should be better not worse. It’s either a terrible decision or horrible development of this app. Make it like Fox sports Go!!!

- Amazing

This app is absolutely amazing! Primarily downloaded it just to watch the World Cup and it hasn’t let me down. I can watch every single game live right here from the app. The quality is crystal clear, providing you have good WiFi or cell service. Note that you do have to have a subscription with one of the tv providers. I simply log in with my suddenlink account and it works. Would highly recommend.

- Comes in very handy

I have been watching Women’s World Cup on this app. The overall performance is excellent. I like the option to personalize it with your favorite teams. I originally said I wish it were easier to find the WC schedule but I have since found it and it was simple. On the plus side it tells me about games and events I wouldn’t have thought to look for so . . . . a trade-off Now 5 stars

- Bugged CC

Love that this app made it possible for me to watch my game on my big screen. It’s a constant struggle with the NFL every week. I’m tired of watching football on my phone. But the closed captioning is so bugged, I can’t stand it. I do not want live CC as it’s just laggy and not even readable. Tons of random symbols. It’s really distracting, covering up the score. No matter how many times I toggle CC off in the app, the CC will not disappear from the TV while chromecasting. I have reset the app and my TV multiple times trying to fix this.

- Friday 7/6 FIFA game will not load

It’s 30 mins into game and 32 mins of me wasting time trying to get Uruguay vs France to open on App. I deleted the app, downloaded again, logged in with my xfinity, I get in only to get highlights video pre match and when I hit live I get the message “Program not available” “This program has ended or can’t be found. Please select another program to watch.” On top of the orange bar that shows how far into the match time passed. This is crazy as Fox is not covering it and I was able to watch all week until this error today. I wish we had the ability to upload screen shots of issue.

- Fox Sports Go App was way better

You can only use the app in portrait mode. When you load the app you can briefly see the all the live tv tiles but once it actually loads you only get 2 live tv tiles. Fox sports go app you we’re greeted with nothing but video. Live TV, Replays, etc. Here you get greeted with nothing but highlights, sports scores, news etc.. Live TV and Replays have taken a back seat and it’s next to imposssible to find. This app is basically the fox sports website. And get this. You have to have both apps installed. Some shows are here . Some shows are there. You don’t know until you click on it! Truly dissapointed.

- Choke...

Every time I try to play video with this app, it has problems. Granted most sports apps that allow streaming video have problems but this one takes the cake. Update- 7 February 2020 I just updated and tried to stream a game. Glitches galore with extra commercials. It kept trying to play commercials and heaven forbid I stop the stream, switched apps, or try to air play to my Apple TV. Please fix your app. Is there anything that Fox does well? I previously had a BTN+ subscription but streaming problems made decide it was not worth. Oh and I don’t have these problems with Disney+, HBO Go, Netflix, etc., just Fox streaming...

- Too much MMA and NASCAR

The site is fine but the Trending news has so much MMA (or whatever they call it now) and car racing junk, it’s maddening. Because I don’t care. They ask for your favorites... they should target the news to fit also. 2 other things - the Gametrack never works for NFL and watching video of Cowherd and Whitlock and Nick Wright from earlier Fox shows is not news. How about some real articles we can read?

- Waste of Money

I pay for a Gold tier Spectrum package, so I could have access to every football game. But, I haven’t been able to stream anything on the Fox Sports App that isn’t on my television. So, I spoke with Chioma from customer service, and she told me that I’m unable to see anything that isn’t on my television, wasn’t helpful when I was asking her why, and ended the chat before I could get an answer as to why I’m unable to stream the football games that I pay for. Horrible customer service, unacceptable ignorance from employees. Why am I paying to see all of the games if Fox is refusing to let me OR my provider stream?

- App still doesn’t work

Downloaded this app about a month ago, and it didn’t work then as a poor substitute for Fox Sports Go. Kept crashing on anything I tried to start streaming. Gave it another try tonight and it still doesn’t work. I could sign in with my cable provider, but the app kept asking me to sign in again. Never got past that. Checked the other reviews and see that most other people have similar problems. Fox’ only answer is to try the help desk with a long link that won’t work and won’t copy. Get rid of it and put the content back on Fox Sports Go, which works well.

- Fox Sports App Family

When it eventually works it’s not a bad stream; but by that time the game of whatever you’re trying to watch is almost over. The biggest complaint is that the app/stream just randomly crashes; usually during the biggest moment of the game. I’ll load up the stream, verify my account information and tune into the game. Usually 2 minutes after starting it, the entire app crashes and shuts down. I’ve tried restarting whatever device I’m using, re-installing the app, closing any other background apps, kicking everyone else off the WiFi. The app decides to just not work and nothing you can do about it. The best response I’ve gotten from support is “we know it’s an issue and are currently working on it”, 4 months later and the same thing. You’re better off not even trying to use it because you’ll just end up frustrated and have chucked your device through the tv.

- Terrible since Disney buyout

Ever since Disney bought out the Fox network they seem to have systemically destroyed the streaming platform Fox worked to build. Fox Sports Go was simple and worked. The switch to Fox Sports has been horrible. “Content not available” “Error streaming - try again later” or worse yet, mixed-up programming such as clicking on a soccer game and getting drag racing instead. Or as happened last night, 6.5hrs of a test screen sandwiched between 30min bumpers of Fra. v Kor. in what should have been the xfinity race. Way to ruin a good thing Disney. I’m sure the next thing will be subscription-only streaming.

- Notifications (update)

Prior to me switching to my iPhone X I would’ve given this app a 5 Star rating; however, since updating I don’t get any notifications and it’s frustrating. I will never go back to the ESPN app, but considering I prefer Bleacher Report for my news anyway and Fox for my scoring updates this app is close to being deleted. Notifications now working.

- I want to use this but often cannot stand it.

Every single time I try and watch something on this app, it does a few infuriating things. First it will open fox sports app. This app will start playing random audio in the background. No visuals and no way to stop it. Then fox sports go will try and play what I want to watch. Usually this works, but I’ll have the audio from the fox sports app playing simultaneously, making it impossible to hear my program. Why is there two apps? Like just okay the show I want to watch and make it as easy as can be once I type in my tv provider credentials.

- Can’t sign in tv provider

I try to sign in to my tv provider so I can watch the football game. Correct user name and password but I always get an error saying I have exceeded too many attempts and to try again in 15 minutes. Worthless app if I cannot sign on. Please fix. Maybe it is a spectrum issue. But app doesn’t work for me. After reading reviews, it seems like this app is unusable do to sign in problems. Tried re downloading. Had a family member try and sign into their account. Same error same problem. Help articles from developer are no help either. So frustrating.

- It doesn’t work.

Unfortunately my local teams are on fox and for the third time over the past 6 months I decided to give the app a go one more time due to the big game. Well I can’t login and apparently even the my password is right (I could have put a capital in so it may be my fault it was wrong) but it locks after one attempt. When it does work it cancels the game every 15 minutes and I have to restart it. Being number 6 in the App Store for sports you would think it works. If they fix it I’ll re-review it but until then it just takes space on your phone.

- Frustrating and inconsistent

This app is so back and forth when it works and when it doesn’t. Sometimes when streaming a game it plays the audio as if I had three of the same game going at once with the commentary a second delayed. Then you exit out and try to stream it again and it says the program is unavailable or has ended. WiFi or data, makes no difference. When it works, it’s great, but when the World Cup comes around once every 4 years and the app tells me the game has ended when it just started makes me want to throw my phone into the microwave.

- Great for watching the women’s World Cup games

I am currently hospitalized and don’t have access to the channels that the women’s World Cup games are airing on. Fortunately this app allows me to watch all the games, keep up with standing, watch clips of games, and get notifications and updates for games. There have been a few times where I have been unable to watch a game for some reason but that has been limited incidences. Overall, awesome app!

- Potential is there but glaring flaws are still there

This app definitely needs a lot of work done on it, such as the quality of the streaming and the constant blurring of a stream but I was willing to give them a chance to improve things. During the World Cup the app was working well and I had optimism that it might even compete with the ESPN app one day, but just this past week I started noticing that I’m not getting any live alerts and the scores are not updating in live time. Cmon Fox Sports, you guys have plenty of money to make an app that works!

- LoveIt

Love This app. Gives me perfectly written short updates all day long but not too frequently. Does a nice job organizing all the games so I can quickly see what’s going on. Having the ability to easily click through and see the highlights even when I’m working or doing something that I’m not able to watch a game on TV is fantastic! Best soccer app ever

- World Cup Replays? Not So Much

Fox has been advertising “Replays of all 64 Works Cup games”. What they means is not that you can watch replays of all 64 games on demand at your own schedule. They mean they will play at least one replay at some random time after that game has happened. Which means it is almost as hit or miss as the original showing. Fox is the only major sports provider that is so stingy with events that have already happened. I sure hope they start losing bids for major events, because it’s the only network where you are just out of luck if the game isn’t on exactly when you can watch.

- Unwanted Notifications

Do you enjoy receiving notifications you’ve opted out of? Do you enjoy having your support cases closed almost immediately without explanation? If you do, then you’ll love the Fox Sports app and its developers. I have “News & Highlights” alerts turned OFF and the only other alerts I have turned on are for the individual teams I follow (3 basketball, 3 football, 1 baseball, and 1 soccer). Even so, Fox Sports still sends push notifications about unrelated games, events, and news. As far as I can tell, there isn’t any type of alert switched on within the app that would explain the unwanted notifications. It seems that Fox Sports simply doesn’t care and they will spam your phone with push notifications as long as you allow them to do so. For now, all notifications from the Fox Sports app will be turned off in my phone settings and I will instead rely on the ESPN and CBS Sports apps.

- A step Backwards

If fox wants everybody o move to the “new” FOX Sports app, the hope would be that it is a step up from its predecessor. This isn’t! This app isn’t in the same league with the Fox Sports GO app. Especially when it comes to games. WHERE ARE THE FULL EVENT REPLAYS ON DEMAND, & can we look up an event WITHOUT automatically finding out the final score? The app clearly doesn’t measure up to GO for ease of operation AND there is no option within the app to even contact FOX for support or give feedback. This “new” app has been out for nearly year, come on FOX get your act together.

- Fox Sports crushes ESPN

I only utilized the ESPN app whenever updating myself with info on my favorite teams. Then I viewed the Fox Sports app off my buddies phone one day and noticed how better the format was. Everything was on the page where it should be. ESPN you have to search the next page or 2 to get the info on the topic your viewing. Very happy to make the switch.

- Simple, easy to use. Solid stream quality

Between this, NBC Sports and the CBS all access apps, I’d put Fox’s up top. Once you login with your tv provider it’s easy to select what game you want to watch and there is rarely a hiccup in the stream. I like that you have the option to go back 10 seconds on some events or watch from the beginning

- We live in a technology age and Fox failed

Fox, for something as large as the World Cup, you’d think you would have prepared to handle it through a mobile app. Unfortunately, this app is unreliable. It frequently doesn’t load replays, if it does, the replay isn’t a complete copy or the game, and ultimately, my biggest issue, is why is the no hugging setting for hiding scores? Any page I click on blasts my face with past scores which doesn’t give me a chance of watching the replay without knowing how it ends. Next time, consult someone who knows what they’re doing before you scrap an app together.

- Why can’t I scrub???

I never review apps but not being able to scrub through replays to get to where you want to (and only being able to fast forward in 15 second increments, which btw it won’t move 15 seconds forward until it loads which means it’s not like you can quickly tap 4 times quickly to move forward a minute, you have to tap, wait, tap, wait, tap, wait, tap, wait) is the most unnecessary and infuriating thing I’ve ever experienced in any app that plays video. Honestly I would consider this application broken without this functionality.

- Live Streaming Doesn’t Work

Everything worked just fine with Fox Sports Go, until some genius decided to “fix” something that wasn’t broken. Now, not only do I have to use this bloated, useless app, it doesn’t even work! As soon as I log on with my TV provider, the game I want to stream disappears, and I’m only shown highlight videos. Then, when I navigate to the game stats and try to stream it from there, it tells me I have to download the Fox Sports app, which is what I’m already in! Please fire the idiot who came up with this stupid idea, and let me stream everything through Fox Sports Go. Thanks.

- Looks ok, but slow and buggy

The graphical layout is pretty nice, but everytime you open the app you have to wait at least 10 seconds for it to update all of your favorite teams. It doesnt have a simple interface either. For example if you just want to pull up all D1 football games to see which ones you want to watch, there is no way to do that. You would have to pull up the top 25 or conference by conference. It could be a good app if they would cut some of the graphics to make it run faster imo.

- No more Replays ???

Furious I updated to this version. I should’ve read the reviews. Yeah it has a cool stealth logo now however, they have taken away the ability to watch replays I am an RN who works 7-7pm I don’t have the time to watch the shows as they come on in the morning. however once I’m home I always catch up on my sports talk to unwind ! So upset I won’t be able to watch skip and Shannon or Colin cowherd like I used to!! Please fix this many fans and consumers are counting on the option to watch replays. I hope some one sees this and actually does something. Stay safe, and please wear your mask!

- Streaming needs work

It’s a good app but there’s one problem, The streaming quality. I’m trying to watch football and the quality will be good for 2-3 minutes then I can’t see what is going on because quality goes from great to terrible. Ive tried using my data and different WiFi but it never changes the quality.

- NFL Fox Sports

The best thing about the fox sports app is it lets you watch your favorite NFL team play on the go. Watch any game you want. Doesn’t get any better than this. The Quality of Fox Sports is the best compared to any other one of the apps that let you stream NFL Football games for free And on the go wherever you are and you can watch football.

@hulu make a deal with fox sports already, I’ve had Hulu live for a long time now and I really enjoy your service, I’d really hate to cancel just because I can’t watch local sports. Bring back fox sports Midwest!
