* Fixed: An issue where changing a subtask’s parent in the web app would keep it attached to its previous parent in the app in some cases.
* Fixed: An issue where subtasks couldn't be reordered by drag and drop in some cases.
* Improved: Handling of subscription renewals.
I've had great success with RTM. I don't have a "system" like GTD but after some fiddling I got it to do what I mean, which is nice
Outstanding application and great development team. Constant innovation. I hope they are around for a long time.
I used it years ago but couldnt make it work with my life and temperament. Changes since then are great and I am finding new ways to use it. The RTM blog is a great place for tips
RTM is no OmniFocus, but the service is reliable and cross-platform. I've paid for the premium services in the past, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to collaborate with others.
I could not keep my todos organized without this app!
I love the app and have been a Pro member for years.
My daily companion. Sync is great. Features just like on desktop. I very much like that they don't worry about fancy colour schemes and such on the interface. I think simplicity in GUI is important - it looks crisp. I love Siri integration, but would like more if there was a way to have Siri add things to my list due "Today" but without a time (as I can do when I manually enter in RTM). Otherwise, I have to tell Siri a time or something and I don't like this. Keep it up, team.
I've been using of and on for almost 10 years. This application has so many functions to compensate for the different reoccurance patterns. Be it monthly, be it every 4 weeks. Be it only reoccurance 4 weeks after its completed. Sounds like the same thing, but they aren't. It's so important to ensure I get reminders how I need to and WHEN I need to. And this is not only the best task app, but it's on every platform, integration with Outlook and Gmail in browsers. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Works reliably. Syncs perfectly. My only advice is to make it possible to move items between lists by dragging instead of opening the item and reassigning by scrolling thru options. Update- I've used a lot of other apps since this review. It's now 28 APR 2017. I liked Carrot's humor. I liked Todoist simplicity. But RTM has captured my vote because of its ease of syncing and because I've come to appreciate how you check items and then choose the action the check carries out. That can be completion or changing tags or dates etc. previously i wanted a one step completion. The interface is clean. And so far I haven't lost any tasks or data
I first checked out RTM about 10 years ago and decided to go with another task tracker at the time. Since then I've floundered through a bunch of different systems trying to find one that just felt right. Someone showed me RTM recently and after giving it a trial run for a week, I paid for the Pro version. Completely sold. What I love about the RTM: 1) Product UX is fantastic - awesome job to product management team and development. 2) Comprehensive capabilities - access to lists and todos across mobile, web, native desktop apps, and even Amazon Echo. 3) Active community - a huge base of passionate users *plus* an extremely engaged company makes for a pretty awesome combination, they have both. 4) Extensibility - As a developer I personally appreciate the developer APIs, but anyone can benefit from the third party integrations that are available because of them.
Having worked with a number of Task Managers and Project Management apps, I have settled on Remember the Milk. RTM syncs immediately in the cloud and is available instantly on my mobile devices and desktop computer. Sub tasks are available with the Pro version, well worth the cost. Excellent documentation and support. Fjherrmann
I love RTM as a to do list tool. This new version lags a lot after updating groups of tasks, which is annoying. It also has had an issue with some of my tasks disappearing for no apparent reason, which defeats the whole purpose of a to do list! I cannot emphasize enough how annoying the lag time is!!! I just dropped a star from my review because it is ridiculous!
This is the best task manager I've used to date and I have used at least 8 others. RTM was one of the first task managers I used years ago, but I left for better task managers. I'm back. Missing features: no share widget and not able attach files or photos to a task, just links. Hopefully they will add these features soon. The other features, functions and the look and feel make it worth waiting for now.
Remember the Milk is one of maybe three apps I can't go without. PRO is must if you use the app heavily. While the app is solid, I'm writing this review also in praise of their tech support. I recently had a pretty complicated smart search I was trying to crack and Tristan from support helped me. I've never recieved such prompt and dedicated service in my life from a support team. Not only did he solve my issue but made me literally LOL with lines like "I'm not ashamed to admit I spend 21.4 hours of my life figuring this out." Thanks to Tristan and the RTM team!
I would be lost without Remember the Milk, and the iPad app makes using it dead simple. Can't beat it.
It looks, sounds nice... purchase the "Pro" upgrade to get sub-tasks (a rather basic feature) and other functions. I hit the "Pro" link only to find that it costs $39.99 annually!!! Hope the developer will be able to buy milk because they won't be getting any of my money.
I'm sure To-Do apps are very personal. I've tried many, and always come back to this. I love that the desktop version is a web app. I love the easy text entry (adding due dates, tags, etc) without ever touching the mouse. And the iPhone app is pretty good, and mirrors the web app.
Regularly finding bugs that require me to reboot the entire app.
Love this app! BUT...on the new version, when I swipe from a task list to go back to the menu, I am constantly deleting individual tasks instead. Grrrr!
Love the new version of this app. It offers all the flexibility you could want but also keeps things simple and very intuitive to use.
