Meet times. I really enjoy during a swim meet you can actually see what time your child is swimming. I do not pay online however that feature is nice. However, if the team doesn’t put the information online then it’s just a wasted feature or option

Best swim app!. Love this app! With juggling two teams my son is on, this app makes it easy to switch between the two to make sure we can keep it all straight. Makes declaring for meets & signing up extremely easy also.

Many good features. This app provides parents and swimmers much information about meets and times. Perhaps too much for some parents because of privacy but I like all of the information that I can access.

This is really good recommend it. This is a good app because it tells you your times and how close you are on the next cut like you get close and it updated your age and it tells you about if you do long coarse or short coarse it separates it and you can tell if you have short coarse times you can compare it to long coarse!!! I really recommend it 100%

Useful App. The only thing that I would like easier access to, is when you click the box “run” meet, and it goes to the lanes and timing feature. It doesn’t seem to be available during the actual meet.

App vital for entering swim meets. OnDeck has been a frequently used app for my daughter’s swimming competitions. This app is my vehicle for entering various swim meets. After registration I check the app to look at the events that other teammates are participating in. This app updates best times once completed.

5 year swim mom loves tweaks & edits to APP. Great job with the 5 minute tutorial, much more user friendly than last two years in overall ease of use. Once you have committed to jobs and races. Is there a confirm button or a check mark next to job sign-up? Also, how do you edit a swimmer who is registered twice in error ? In lieu of contacting the admin?

Wrong state time standards. The app needs to update the time standards. It is helpful to keep tracking times but doesn’t help to compare them with the LA state qualifying standards. I was following the app for the qualifying time of my son and he shows qualifying for two state championship events and then I found out that the standards in the app are from last year. Very disappointed for the whole family, finding this later.

Love this app!. My son has been swimming competitively for 6 years. I love being able to have one place that has all of his swim information in one place. He has switched teams and his times for all teams he has swam for are all in one place. We utilize the time standard filter as well. Takes out the guesswork when seeing how close he is to qualifying for state competitions. There are probably a lot of other features I have yet to unlock, but even with just these Ondeck is just a must have for all swim families.

So easy to navigate!. Love the OnDeck app. It has all the information in need for my child’s swim team, including meet info, locations, allows me to sign up for assignments right through the app. All his best times are kept in the app. I even pay meet fees through the app. It’s very easy to use. Highly recommend

Not user friendly. This is one the the weirdest/worst scheduling apps I’ve ever used. It is not intuitive- and is difficult to navigate. Acronyms used in the app are not defined anywhere, and the menu categories are completely illogical. Also, none of the USAS Deck Pass features are functional. I get stuck in an endless loop of login pages. There is also no way to sort meets based on my swimmers eligibility. Why am I getting lists of Senior swim meets for my 9 year old? This app was clearly not designed by someone with any experience with scheduling management.

Swimming from the best. It is a great app to help track times, plan further meets, and see practice times. This app is a great tool to have on deck with when swimming. As a swimmer myself I definitely recommend it!! I will be pretty slow to update times if you are excepting them the week after you have raced.

Great App for Swimmers. I love OnDeck because it keeps track of my child’s best swim times. Sometimes, I wish this app would have the features of placement in the heat and the ranking overall recorded too. Another option would be adding the USA standard times for age group too. I also like the option to see volunteer sign-Ups too.

Love the thought...but won't sync. This app has great features, but the new version won't sync. I tried clearing memory, uninstalling ect. This is frustrating when we are trying to confirm attendance over multiple pools and with new accounts at the beginning of the season.

Doesn’t synch w/ Calendar Apps. Not a bad app by itself, but the swim meet schedule doesn’t synch with calendar apps, so far as I can tell, which is a huge minus in my book. * Update: I figured out that you can synch the calendars with iCalendar, but you need to do it via the TeamUnify website on a computer, not via the app. I also suggest being able to look at all events chronologically. Grouping out of chronological order in event types is helpful when you know you are looking for a certain type of event, but I usually just want to see what the next event is. Model calendar for this app off of GameChanger (baseball app).

Good for swim history too!. We like that it keeps track of each swim by event. Also, we like the best times feature, helps my swimmer see how much his hard work has paid off! Wish it would keep multiple goal standards. So once one is met it goes to the next toughest meet qualifier.

New vs old. Update: severe bug with FaceID: if OnDeck is the active app, and the phone goes to sleep, it goes into a state where it takes numerous (and I mean *numerous*) tries to swipe up to get the phone to wake. It just keeps showing a FaceID confirmation, but it stays on the lock screen. Anyone with an iPhone X, XS, or XR should beware. Presumably the new 2018 iPad Pro will also be affected. I'm writing this from a parent's perspective. I imagine a coach would have a different view. The new app looks much better than the old, and acts much more like a modern iOS app. Neither old nor new versions make finding things easy. There are a *lot* of features, and it usually takes me a while to find what I'm looking for. Combining parent & coach apps seemed like a reasonable idea, until I saw all of the coach features cluttering up the screen. One feature I used a lot is either missing in the new app, or else is well-hidden: keying in the heat and lane assignments for events. I'd much rather have that info on my phone than carry around a paper meet program. The new app is slower than the old. It seems to load every page on-the-fly from the cloud, which is sluggish. On the meet entries display, 3-digit event numbers are truncated, which is a pretty severe problem. Touch ID is buggy - it often requires password entry, which kind of misses the point of Touch ID. The app really needed a refresh, but this version is a swing and a miss.

Great info. Really liking the app. I recently started using it and was so happy to be able to step away from all the excel sheets and updates I was maintaining due my 11 yr old. Now she is easily able to tell how far she is from any of the time standards and set goals.

Please Update. The app always had its issues. Like another reviewer said, it can be tough to find what you’re looking for. It can also be more complicated than it needs to be. My real issue is since updating to iOS 11, it crashes. So, until they provide an update, it’s completely useless. Also, the app recently started asking for my thumbprint, authenticating as always then asking for the password. What’s the point of the thumbprint if it’s just going to require the password?

Team unify. We have not really been able to fully use the app. Our granddaughter is involved in so many things that we have only been to one meet. We are looking forward to being able to participate more in the coming months!

OnDeck on point!. We love the OnDeck app! We can use it for multiple teams and multiple kids. We no longer have to try and remember times, they are automatically saved. We also love that it pushes out notifications from TeamUnify in text and email forms! Makes managing swim simple!

Team feed flashes and goes to useless profile. Whenever we get a Team Feed notification, we want to see THAT. But every time the mobile app opens to show the Team Feed message, and within a second the app goes to the Profile page. I know who I am, I need to see the COMMUNICATION FROM THE COACH. Leave it on the Team Feed page until I’m done reading it. And even after it goes immediately to the profile page, then it has the gall to prompt to say, “hey, there’s a Team Feed message I’m preventing you from viewing.” Six steps to get back to viewing the Team Feed I originally came to read. Very irritating mobile app behavior.

Time Standards. Great app…when it’s updating correctly. Problem is: “Time Standards” section is completely wrong for multiple swimmers, showing some of the fastest swimmers as slowest (with times from 2 yrs ago, while others are current). It’s unfortunate because this is e great section for swimmer comparison and, in turn, a great motivational tool for practice. Updates, in general, take a little time (usually ~ 1 month) which I can deal with. However, the “Time Standards” section has been off for 4 months!!! (Even after team admin has reached out to OnDeck)…not good

Works great!. My child left swimming for a few years and then went back. I love that his times were still kept. Such a great way to look back at meets to see his times from the last meets. We have had no problems with the APP.

Pretty good. There are many things you can do in the app that are a LOT easier to get to in lieu of using the program! I did not give it 5 stars because there is no calendar! Families need an easier way to check the daily team calendar so adding that to this app would be a HUGE improvement.

Best Times and Time Standards times don’t match. I never write reviews, but I don’t understand why the OnDeck (and Sports Engine) app continues to ask me how satisfied I am with the app and do nothing with my response. Since the beginning of this short course season, both of my children’s Time Standard times have been listed incorrectly. The times under Best Times are correct, but my children use the Time Standard section as a motivator. It’s just frustrating that I’ve continued voicing this issue, yet nothing has been done about it. There are other apps that we access, but I like how, when it works, OnDeck (and Sports Engine) are a one-stop shop for us since we can register for meets through it. I just wish they would fix this issue.

Ease of App. The app is easy to use, well organized. I only wished it opened to the main page as opposed to the profile page each time it’s opened. It did take some time to remember that I have to click on my swimmer’s picture to get to the “accept” or “decline” options for events. Having the tabs on that first page would be even easier but once I remembered how to do it it is rather easy but could be easier.

Time standards no longer display. This has been a very useful app. But recently, the Time Standards section no longer works. Times have not been updated in several months, and although my region is selected to display standards, they no longer show. Just three national standards show. So we no longer have a quick easy way to see how far off my swimmer is from various championship cuts. Also, there’s no easy way to get tech support help. The link here dumps onto a general info page with no info on how to contact the developer for support. Frustrating.

Could be more user-friendly. I love this app-it is nice to have a mobile format that has so much information. It can be very useful not to have to drag out my laptop for meet entries and job signups. But it is NOT easy to navigate. I would love if the developers could make it more intuitive and user-friendly. It took me a long time, years really, to figure out where to go for all of the different things I want to access. The app offers so many different tools but if you can’t figure out how to use them it makes it less worthwhile.

On deck. I use the program for many things. I like how the workouts track the swimmers metrics. I do a monthly report for each of my swimmers. I take attendance everyday using it. When I write my workouts I would like it, if you edit a swim that’s already in the system it would save the new edit. At this point I don’t see this occurring. Thanks John Thomas Great wolf

Major Bug - Time Standards vs New Best Times. Typically I recommend all the parents on our team use OnDeck vs our website but it just keeps getting “worse”. My biggest issue at the moment is there is a known bug in the system that times achieved during the new season (Sept 1 and after) are reflected in the swimmer’s best times but is NOT shown in the Time Standards section of the app. I keep following up and the response is “We do not have a specific timeline to resolve this issue.” This feature is sooooooo helpful to swimmers (and parents) and swimmers love to be able to see their progress toward a goal (seeing their name above that line). I also do not like all the “features” that have been added to TeamUnify and pushed down to OnDeck but you don’t have the option to personalize for your team. We don’t do our billing through TeamUnify so having “My Finances” and “My Wallet” as soon as you log in is very confusing. We should have the option to turn this off. I also don’t need “Class Management” but again can’t turn that off.

Surprisingly useful 💪. Coming from the viewpoint of an actual swimmer, as opposed to that of a parent or coach, this app is amazing to check event entries and view helpful information with the teamfeed. The best part however, are the “cool tools,” which consist of a stopwatch with a bunch of fun settings, a time converter (LCM SCM and SCY are all here) and a pace calculator, which is especially helpful for distance swimmers such as myself. Overall 10/10, would recommend.

Fix the time standards section please!!. Overall the app has been useful. However there is a glitch that continues to not get fixed. Under the “membership-time standards tab the swimmer times are no longer showing the most recent swim times. It is making it difficult to see if a swimmer has achieved A (championship) times with out having to check in a multiple places. This tab use to have all that info in one place but now it doesn’t. Outside of signing up for meets, the app has lost most of its without the time standards feature! Seriously, it needs to get fixed!

Son swims for Y. Love this app, my son swims for the YMCA in the winter & spring and they use this app. I like that I can click on yard & meters to change it to one or the other to compare times. I find the app much more user friendly than an app my sons summer swim team uses. I like that I can also register him for the meets on here also, everything on one app.

Loving it!. OnDeck is so simple, and easy to use! I love to go onto OnDeck and see my meet results. I also like to see my best times. I can even see all of my coaches and maybe see a little description about them! I’m so lucky to be using OnDeck.

Really great app!!!!. Really helpful I get reminds, time standards, best times all in one place. But the reason why I give only four stars is because it always makes me sign back in every time I use it. It’s not that bad because it saves my password and stuff all I need to do is press log in but still it’s annoying but besides that this app is 👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Newcomer. We are new to swim team therefore new to the app. I am loving all the features and info available to me in OnDeck. It makes our lives a little easier having all this information at my fingertips!

Doesn't save race times. What is the point?. App has a built in stop watch to time your swimmers race. Supposedly you can save this (unofficial) time in the app, but once I've saved it and go to the next screen, it displays "0:00" for the race time. What is the point of having the stop watch feature if it won't save the times? How are we suppose to publish race results to social media (the latest improvement) if it displays "0:00"? Right now I'm publishing a screen shot of the time. I could do that with the built in stop watch as part of the clock app.

Very Easy to Use. This app is very easy to use and makes it very easy to check my times, standards, attendance and other nice things. There are lots of cool features like a time converter among others. It’s overall a great app and very easy to use and navigate. Everything makes sense and is in a sensible place. Love it!

Great App. Overall - this is a great app to see the overview of your team - who is swimming and what events. Some of the tools are not the easiest to find - but it is a comprehensive app if you want one place to see all the specifics about your swimmer - best times, events coming up, standards, etc

Awesome application used for swim team events!. On Deck affiliated with Team Unify is a user friendly application we use for swim team events. From choosing what events to swim, to signing up for jobs, to viewing the itinerary, to getting directions to the event directly from the app. It’s awesome!

Best Team Management app out there!!! Works great on my ios11 devices. OnDeck is the best swim team app available. It has helped save time with meet entries, billing, account information, communications and much more. It’s a great tool that all coaches and admins should have. The best part is that it’s included with our TeamUnify website. The merging of MainSet into OnDeck is an added plus! Looking up swimmers times and data is so quick and easy. TeamFeed and texting to parents are the biggest improvements and helps tremendously with team communication. Taking attendance and athlete tracking is head and shoulders above any other software companies’ offerings. Check it out today!!!

Great App...everything you need in one place. The OnDeck app has some many features for swimmers, parents and coaches in one place. You have the ability to see your child’s attendance, sign up for a meet, best times, meet results and much more. TeamUnify keeps updating the app to make it better....we just got the TeamFeed and love how we are able to communicate with our team just by a click of a button. Thanks for providing a great app!

Bad update. I really don't like the new update. I used to be able to see my child's best times and compare it to local standards. After the update there are numerous B, A, AA standards listed. Some are boys, some are girls and it appears to list every single age group. Before I could pick only the standard for my daughter and it wouldn't show any standards for boys. Now you can't tell what age group the standard is for nor can you tell if it's for boys or girls. I understand that the coaches need to see all the standards but as a parent I only need to see the standard for my child.

High School Team. As a coach it is hard to find a way to communicate with everyone on the team. There always seems to be those few that did not see something or never received the email or text. This app puts everything in one place and has been the best thing we have found by far. We had some minor issues with getting the link to send to everyone, but within a short time we had everyone using the app. My biggest complaint would be, not being able to attach documents in the messages or social part. This is still the best app I have found for my team.

Time standards section no longer works. This was a super useful app. Unfortunately for months now the time standards section no longer works. Many of the times displayed are old from months ago for some swimmers while others it shows their current times. The swimmers that it shows their current times seem to be mostly the new swimmers on the team. This feature made the app really great. Would love to see the feature fixed.

Tedious to use. Endless pointless “are you sure” pop ups. Endless windows to click through to get anywhere. Rather than displaying all the events your child is signed up for in a meet, it shows each day, which you have to click on (to an accompanying are you sure pop up) which then shows all the events for that session. But you can only view one session at a time. Very poorly designed app. At least it doesn’t crash anymore but still, find a new developer.

Great App, Small Suggestion. Over this is a great app and very useful. My one suggestion, and it is piddly, would be if it possible to add color to the “done” button when attempting to close documents attached to events. I was just helping a friend yesterday who had been killing the app for 2 years.

Great App with some limitations. I have been pleased with the improvements that have been made with the app over the last few years It would be great if it could be just as functional as the web version of the backend program.

So helpful. This app has so many features to track your swimmers progress as well as get communication from your team. Why every team isn’t using it I don’t know, but our previous club had something they built themselves. This feels like a Rolls Royce compared to it.

Great App. Few things I'd change in regards to attendence so more accurate records can be taken. For example presquad train 2-3 sessions a week. However there are 5 sessions to choose from. This means they are marked absent for up to 3 sessions. You also can't delete a session if it needs to be cancelled. Very strange. Otherwise it's a great tool to have.

Swim BC Standard is not updated in App. Swim BC Standard is not updated in App. Furthermore, when sending comments through “Contact Us”, it ends up the club coach received the message, who is irrelevant to the question. The developer of the App shall be the one addressing the issue.

Meet results not updating. As a parent, I enjoyed this app for a short while until the meet results stopped updating. I hope they fix this soon.

Swim Mom. This is app is wonderful for keeping our account organized and myself aware of different events. It would be great if there was a tracking section which indicated how many volunteer commitments we have completed. It would also be great if I could pay my account from the app. I would also like to indicate on this App if my daughter is attending a swim practice or not.

Best organize tool EVER. This has made organizing our swim team soooooo much easier. It is worth every penny. Allows our coaches to pick events right at the pool side, keeps our swimmers, staff, and parents connected seamlessly!

Gets the job done. I like it! Get familiar with it and it gets the job done without a lot of back and forth. There is a requirement to read.

Easy, quick, easy to reference.. I’m sure I’m not using all of the site’s capabilities, however it feels streamlined when using on the go and intuitive when accessing team info. I do wish the attendance reports reflected the partial attendance feature.

Meh. This app is a battery hog if left open in the background. I use it once or twice a week and it is frequently shown as my most battery intensive app if I don’t force close it. Also coaches can’t take attendance for practices they themselves did not create, making that functionality moot.

Great central place for team info. If your team uses on deck them app is a must. It’s a great, easy way to sign up for meets, check your events and the like.

Great app, better than Meet Mobile. As a die hard Meet Mobile fan, it pains me to admit On Deck has gotten it right finally. Several years ago it was a terrible app, but I'm a big fan of the current app.

Great. OnDeck is so useful to find information. I use it everyday to see times of mine. The one problem I can’t see my friends times I can only see my family’s. Other than that I love it.

Great app for managing team info and events!. This is a great app for managing our swim team. I do think it would be useful if the interface was a bt more user friendly, and hopefully it will be someday soon.

Great!. The app is really great for being able to view best times and also the calculations to make it to the next time standard. Meet info is helpful too!

Great resource. On deck continues to be an excellent way to manage both our swim schedules and our time with both kid athletes. We can always check in to see best times and meet information and updates. An invaluable resource in you pocket.

App is Good Except When You Open a .pdf. The app works great, except for when you open the PDF. Once you open the PDF, there’s no way to go back into the app except for to close the app and re-open it. A slight inconvenience.

Love the options. I love that you can put in time standard and that it shows multiple levels. I just wish I could force it to a different age group time standard as my child will be aging up before champs so our goals are the time standards of the next age up.

Love OnDeck. As a team administrator, OnDeck makes my life so much easier! I can send communications, check event attendance, take attendance at practice and so much more. As a swim mom I love that I can check my daughter’s times, commit her to meets, and post pics in our teamfeed. I couldn’t do without it!

On deck. Works great! It hella us coaches keep everything in order and you don’t have to download all of these other apps to know everything, it’s all in one app.

On Deck for coaches. On deck works well. Pros about it. 1. Holds all the swimmers info. And can up date it right on the spot. 2. Easy to follow and work. 3. Can update swimmers events on the spot as I talk to them and family’s. Cons 1. Would like to have more room to write emails so I wouldn’t have to go to the web site. 2. Sending meet Entries to a meet host don’t like to do everything though the website. 3. Would like to have swim lessons area also. All in all it’s a good app like using it more than the web site. Easy to use, useful app. Been using OnDeck for over a year now and I find it very easy to use to get various pieces of information and has some cool tools.

Good app. This app is good at keeping track of your swimmer. It has a couple areas that could be enhanced: •PDF’s once opened don’t have a nav back button •PDF’s would be great to have a print feature •For day of meets that drop off the future meets a “commitments” icon for day of and future commitments

Very convenient. Coach uploaded the practice video over the app while patents were not onsite. Cool feature. Right now, we can only view the video, it would be nice if parents can download the video as well.

On deck. Having used on deck for years, especially in swim meets. Can read swimmers current time and time to the next level right away. Love it. If a split can be shown, it will be perfect.

Organization help. With three swimmers, it can be tough to stay updated on all the things. OnDeck makes it so easy! Everything I need to know is organized into one place. Love it!
