Peace of Mind. I have never written an app review before, this is my first. However, this app is so amazing I had to say something! I cannot believe this app is free. I found out I was pregnant at 28 weeks and I am just 20 yo so as you can imagine, my pregnancy was not planned in the slightest. I had no idea about babies and was freaking out. Finally, another young mom recommended I download this app. It was very helpful during my pregnancy to track baby’s development and for me to keep track of how far along I was for when I was asked at appts. The community chats were also very helpful when I was anxious or had any questions, they made me feel like I wasn’t alone. I thought once my baby was born I’d be deleting the app but boy was I wrong. I go on this app AT LEAST 3 times a day for my own pleasure (read articles, explore features, join chats, etc). They recently added a feeding tracker feature. I knew I wanted to put my baby on a feeding schedule and this app makes logging feedings so easy. I am truly in love with this app, and will continue to use it for a long time.

If you want to be bullied, this is the app for you.. Even after many, MANY reports and emails to the moderators and admins of this app, they continue to allow users to bully, harass, and make others feel stupid for the questions they ask on the community boards. I have screenshots to prove it. I am due soon with twins and the “multiples” board is by far the worst. They allow one particular user to run this board, post whatever she wants, bump it several times a day even though they don’t allow “spam” and allow her to berate and ridicule others for the questions they ask. This is by far the worst app and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.. especially someone expecting more than one baby. I’ve already posted one review here and it was deleted so the “5 stars” they currently have is only because they delete bad reviews. And before the admins respond to this review telling me to contact you by email, I’ve already done that, multiple times and I get no response and you’ve done nothing to improve the issues on the multiples board. Again, just stay away from this app. Go to babycenter or somewhere the mods and admins actually care.

Love the app but have two issues. I love this app and use it daily to read articles and updates about my baby. I also really like the communities and groups, but one thing about it irks me. I’m part of September 2020 babies because my EDD is Sept 16 but I see lots of women posting there that are only a few weeks along and most likely due in December and January. There needs to be a way to fix this as they clog up the threads with first trimester questions and constant worry of losing their babies. They also post questions and pictures of their pregnancy tests asking if group thinks it’s a positive or not. It’s annoying as the group is passed this stage and want to discuss second trimester issues and beyond. Another issue I have is the app constantly referring to my baby boy as “her” or “she” and is predominantly geared towards female babies. Every article, video and baby update refers to baby as a girl. After I found out the gender I changed it on the app but it still continues to call my baby boy by female pronouns, which I don’t appreciate.

Perfect app!. This is my first pregnancy/baby and this app is perfect. I found it when I first found out I was pregnant and they had my due date correct. This app told me all these tips and tricks and had articles to help me figure things out or learn. They also have a section to ask questions or help others with theirs, a little community. Once I had my baby I didn’t have to switch to a different app, everything was right here where I needed it. Allows me to keep track of my feedings and diaper changes, also gives me information about what to expect or what the soiled diaper may mean. More articles and information for me to learn! Overall, I have no complaints.. this app has literally everything I can and will need for awhile! I tried downloading those other apps my friends had told me to get but honestly didn’t like them at all. This one is cute and organized, easy to figure out, and pleasing to the eye.

The best help received. I totally love this app! As my mother’s children are all adults she remembered very few things to advise me of to expect with my little one. This app has helped me in more ways than I can write about. Every time I check in on the app it’s like they know my kid lol. A lot of the times he would have done something and I check the app and I don’t read about it during the month we are in on the app but it will be in the very next month and I would be in total shock that they have this baby thing down to a T. That also helps me understand that my child is on the right track and may be slightly ahead on things. I had a baby during the beginning of the pandemic so all of my baby classes were canceled and no reschedule. This app made me feel like I didn’t miss a thing by missing out of classes. They would have videos and monthly reads on baby. I just can’t say enough how much I looooovveeee this app.

Amazing support!. As a single pregnant 21yr old with no family to turn to this app has been a god sent. I have found so many amazing supportive 1st time And multi children moms. I get great advice from people who have been in my position and no matter how toxic your baby daddy/partners relationship is or the trauma/negative thought throughout the pregnancy everyone I eager to give their advice judgment free. For mother’s who have good home lives but just have questions that would like answered by other mom this is also a great place for that. For me having no support system the ladies I chat with are everything and I appreciate each of them for opening up and being there for me when I need someone. 100% recommend this app to anyone with questions, concerns, or just looking to make friends/talk to other mothers.

Love this! Highly recommend especially for first time parents!. I’m in my 4th pregnancy, but this is the first pregnancy that has lasted past a couple of weeks… I’m thankfully in my second trimester and this app has been so helpful! I love learning all the things that are happening with my lil rainbow. Learning about what is happening each week and how she’s growing is so amazing! I also love being able to talk with other parents that have gone through a similar experience as me, it’s also helpful being a ale to talk to other parents that have gone through pregnancy and labor before so I can get tips and other ideas wig what to expect and do. This app has been incredibly helpful for me. It also helps me keep track of my pregnancy and so much more! I highly recommend this app for first time parents and experienced parents.

Very Useful!!!!. Had my first baby on Oct 2021 and was looking for an app that I could use to track her feedings. So I found this one; at first I didn’t know how to use it that much , but the more I did use it and explored all the things it had I ended up never deleting off my phone!!! the reason is that it has been super useful to me specially since I’m a first time mom! Not only it helped me with writing down my baby’s feeding time , but there’s also educational videos about the milestones your child is supposed to be reaching at certain ages. There’s a “Community” section which I find super super helpful. There you can talk to actual moms from young to much older. From new to pros. There you can post questions about anything that has to do with parenting and it’s also amazing to have a section where you can relate and share your journey!! The app also gives you little articles here and there. UPDATE 2023: my child is now 2 years old and I still use this app❤️ helps me keep us both on track which is what I need since my mind be all over the place 😅😂

Super helpful app, could use few more things as listed. You can post Muh as you’d like and there’s always someone in the similar situation to reply , always helpful and makes you feel less alone !! keeps track of you and baby’s health and size ! Also has recommendations on products you can use also great. Two things I would add as options is a tab where you can view all you own posts to look back on , review and save things from. Also another tab where you can keep a list of products or things you need yourself ! Similar to a mini baby registry except you can add things you need as well along w side notes ! I don’t know how many countless times I’ve had really good suggestions and had to go back find my post, scroll through all the responses to find the info , I think these two suggestions would really up and add to the already great app! recommend to any mama !

Perfect for so many reasons. This app is perfect for so many reasons. It provides a space for you to talk to other mothers on many subjects. Don’t see a thread that pertains to you? Start one. Endless support. From the day you find out your pregnant & download this app, you’ll love it. You get to track weekly what your baby is doing and how they are growing inside of your stomach, after the baby is born, this app continues to give you information and milestones at each age. I noticed that checking this app has put my mind at ease at times I felt confused & overwhelmed. There is so much knowledge wrapped up in this app, especially for a first time mom. I highly recommend. My baby is 14 months & I still check this app at least weekly. My favorite pregnancy tracking app & educational app for me about my baby.

wow what a mess. forums are a breeding ground for drama; the way they set it up totally feeds into it as there is no way to remove a post or block someone who is spamming, or being super rude. mods took days to take down the post and did nothing to try to prevent the people causing unnecessary drama prior to taking it down; the forums could be great if they had the basic abilities to block people from responding or take your own post down, but instead it feels like they intentionally made it impossible to fix the situation yourself without having to literally email the moderators and wait days for them to take it down after they failed to fix the deeper problem. The forums feel like a total scam to make money off their partner ads with no concern for user. Fixing this issue would be insanely easy and so beneficial as it would prevent those just looking to start drama and foster a toxic environment from participating; after searching the forum it is clear that this has been a common issue for others as well so what other reason is there that this has not been fixed in an app that has been out for so long?

God sent!. Must have if you are trying to conceive, expecting, or already a mommy. There’s something for everyone! BUT… I’d like to make two suggestions for improvement: - I love the inclusion features like adjusting the skin tone of the body that mirrors your pregnancy stage. However, more inclusion and diversity could be celebrated for women who are plus sized or coined as having a “B belly” or “Apron belly” (all terms I learned in the community forums lol). Not every woman will carry with a traditional D belly shape, but we should still be acknowledged. You can diversify your photos in your articles to reflect sizes of different women. You can share topics/articles (i.e., Ways to dress your “belly” to feel more confident). My point is, diversity shouldn’t be just seen in the forum chats, but on the larger platform across the app and company. I’m fascinated to see how different shaped bellies look and representation matters throughout this journey. -Second suggestion: can there be a refresh button or double tapping feature that resets your pregnancy week? Sometimes I want to go to 32 weeks and you literally have to press the arrow 32 times to get there. And there 32 times back? Too tedious. Maybe hitting My Pregnancy button could refresh/reset it back to your current week? Or maybe use a drop down scroll dial to easily select desired pregnancy week? Heck, just hire me for your DEI or development team and we can brainstorm some more ideas 🙃

So GREAT!. I love this app and recommend it to all moms! I started using it when I found out I was pregnant to keep track of my baby’s growth. It’s so fun to see what size fruit he compared to. Not only that, but the app gave more information about what was developing and growing! I was always reading their articles about common pregnancy questions and “what to expect.” It was very informative and helped me feel ready for motherhood. I also have the book which I would read alongside the app! I now have a 5 month old and am still using the app! I’ve joined the community forums which have been great for reading about common concerns (makes me feel less alone). And most importantly, I keep track of baby’s feeds on this app!! This is especially important to me because I breastfeed and definitely have moments of forgetting how long it’s been since he ate. I log/ time his feeds every single time and it’s been a huge help with learning my baby’s preferences. It was also fun to see how his feeding schedule has been changing. I’ll continue telling all FTMs to get this app because it’s been my saving grace.

The best app for pregnancy and beyond!. This app was such a fun tool during my pregnancy - every week I’d open to see how big my baby girl was and learn about all the new developments that were going on that week! Now four months postpartum, I’m still using the app to track feeds and diaper changes. It makes keeping track of things so easy, which helps my type-A brain to rest easy during a time when organization has become so much more of a challenge; balancing a full time (remote) job and caring for a baby doesn’t leave much time to focus on details! I’m so glad to have found this app which streamlines the process and even summarizes my data, making it easy to make sure we’re eating enough and having enough diapers every day! I do have a couple of suggestions for improvements after a few months of use (not that the app falls short in any way!). 1) I would love for the breastfeeding timer to show up on/be usable from the Lock Screen when active. Or maybe it could be accessible through a widget for even easier access! 2) It would be so cool if the Apple Watch app had more features, like the ability to use the breastfeeding timer or logging diapers, instead of just the pregnancy tracker. Overall, this app has been so much more valuable than I ever anticipated. 10/10 recommend!

Disappointed. This app started out okay. It’s nice to be able to track what your baby looks like. I mainly joined this app for the community discussion boards, but have become extremely disappointed with the bias of the moderators. Only one side is allowed to be heard. If you give a pro-life stance, be prepared to have your comments taken down. If you give a pro-adoption stance, be prepared to have your comments taken down. If you bring up religion, or even say you are praying for someone, be prepared to have you comments taken down. Most recently, if you give a pro-home school stance, be prepared to have your comments taken down. The bias has escalated, it is not subtle. Many women have complained. The moderators are well aware at this point. If you respectfully and kindly express an opinion they deem as problematic, you will be censored. Meanwhile, the other side is permitted to be objectively rude and even post personal attacks/insults in response other users, as long as it fits a certain narrative. I’m not usually one to complain, but the bias is discouraging to many on the app, and it is misleading to women who may genuinely be looking for different perspectives.

A Great Starting Point. This app is a fun way to start learning about how your body is changing, and what is happening with your baby. It gives you bite size information each day that provides useful tips such as diet tips, nausea support, and what to expect for that week. Certain articles go into greater detail, and I always read them to be as informed as possible. Of course certain books or articles may provide greater discourse on topics, but this is an easy, flexible way to build the habit of learning more about you and your baby. A unique feature of the app that you will not find is the community section where you can ask questions or comment on other community members’ questions. I will recommend this app to any pregnant friends or family members. Thank you What to Expect! It would be fun to if they made one for partners—an account that can link, so partners can stay informed too :)

Best after a loss (update). I liked this app the most during my pregnancy. I had three I would look at regularly. I experienced a still birth at 21 weeks. This app was the only one that transitioned after I reported my loss, to a different version that talked about loss. It has given some great articles to read, and access to other women who are experiencing loss themselves. Thank you What To Expect. **(Update)** I have changed my review from 5 stars to a one star. After the loss of my baby I was still inundated with emails and mail advertising because of my information this app sold. It took months to stop receiving this after countless unsubscribes. Enfamil sent me a sample box in the mail that absolutely broke me. Their customer service (to complain about receiving the box) was a chat bot that wanted to make sure my loss wasn’t caused by their formula. I am also very grossed out that the app recommends at week 8 to sign up for a registry; conveniently theirs. This is a time of great risk of miscarriage and there is no reason a person needs to start a registry this early. It leaves opportunity for unnecessary heartache if a loss happens. As exciting as it is to use these apps and see the information they are providing about your pregnancy, see through the lines. They are using you.

The update. First thing, this app is amazing. Being a FTM and EBF the trackers have been extremely helpful! When I felt like he wasn’t getting enough to eat, I could look up his feeding patterns and see that they were consistent. I also created a sleep schedule for him based on his own habits which the tracker helped me figure out as well. With that being said, I’ve seen some issues with the new update. Under the feeding tracker, the time shown is wrong while tracking but once it’s saved the correct time is there. On the main page, the icons at the top are glitchy when I scroll to solids. Lastly, while editing times, like under “sleep”, when I go to save his awake time, I mean to hit save but often I hit delete by accident. This is frustrating. Shouldn’t “save” go before “delete”? Is it possible to switch the spots for “save” and “delete”? All in all, this app is great! ☺️

Best App EVER. I don’t usually ever write reviews but this app has helped me in ways I can never repay so it’s only fair. I swear this app would tell me everything I needed to know and has saved me and my husband from worrying about anything. As a first time mom, Anytime I get a new symptom I was concerned about and wondering if it was normal, my husband would say “Did you check the app?” And usually when I opened it and read that week’s message my symptom would be addressed! I really feel like this app was like an obgyn in my pocket! My actual doctors appointments were not at all satisfying, I was always rushed and didn’t get to ask many questions. They also never told me what to expect that month. Thankfully this app told me what to expect every week! And even now that I have the baby, there are weekly updates on what to expect from him! Thanks for saving a first time mom from worrying! I hope you guys see this and know that I’m eternally grateful !

Well rounded & Reassuring. This app is amazing. This is my first pregnancy and this app gives just as much or as little information a as I want. It has been more helpful than my pregnancy books! It doesn’t promote a culture of fear around pregnancy, there are great guidelines for managing symptoms and preparing for doctor visits and there a forums with great advice. There are updates and videos that help you follow the development of your little one and help you share the progress with friends and family. The development videos are my favorite. I look forward to them every week and they walk you through every step of what’s going on accurately and gently. The most helpful part for me has been the weekly “your body” section. It has helped me to keep my sanity and help me figure out what in the world is happening with my body and is reassuring of how normal a lot of these initially concerning symptoms are. I highly recommend this app!

Favorite baby tracking app.. I love this app and all the great info it offers, but I especially appreciate that this app and its creators were thoughtful enough to add features that allow you to unfollow the news letter and shut off notifications. During my last pregnancy I was super excited and I added several apps to my phone, but my pregnancy ended tragically and I lost my baby. With other apps I wasn’t able to unsubscribe from their news letters and I continued to get painful reminders of how big my baby would have been getting. I also wasn’t able to delete my account on other apps, all I could do was delete the app. This app allowed me to do all of that and then gently offered resources for my grieving and sent me a, “We’re so sorry for your loss,” email and that was it. I appreciate that so much and it’s now the only app I’ll use.

Loveeeeee this!!. This is my first pregnancy and I absolutely adore this app! I love checking every week to see how much my baby has grown, from a large strawberry to a lime! It’s beautiful to see. This app gives you daily advise on what to expect and how to better yourself for you and your baby. It shows you common symptoms from different mothers. It recommends different website and stores for baby clothes, maternity clothes, baby food, what you need for the nursery and a diet for a healthy pregnancy. I love the videos you get to see every week on how much your baby has grown. Not to mention it makes life easier to know exactly what you need to prep for a nursery. It also shows you upcoming test and screenings you must do in case you have no idea on what you’re doing, which for me being a first time mom; I didn’t have a clue! This app is incredible. Highly recommend. :)

Mostly a great thing. I’m liking this app- it has daily advice and videos and fun tools to utilize. It also has weekly posts on what’s happening with baby at whatever stage you’re in. I like that it offers advice in all areas of pregnancy and even gives sections on top rated customer reviewed products! Way better than googling it all! My complaint is in the groups section. Once you put in baby due date info it suggests groups based on estimated month due. While this is cool, I’m finding that the people who Join the group aren’t even pregnant! They are trying to get pregnant and clog up the discussions by posting pics of their pregnancy tests 4 days after they ovulate and desperately ask people “can you see a positive line?!” It really irks me. I know the simple solution is to not go to the group discussions, but I feel it’d be better if they had a “trying to conceive” group and didn’t have anyone join one of month groups until they can enter their due date. My having so many people who are hyper paranoid about trying to conceive in the group it makes it too hard to have discussions with people who are actually on the same trajectory as you and it doesn’t make me want to start a discussion because the majority of the people I see posting aren’t even pregnant.

Love this app. I’ve got videos to watch , tips, sales recommendation for baby products, it’s like th app knows something is about to happen with my baby I when read what the has to say and days later I’m going through the situation and It click to me I read this on the app a feed days ago. Sometimes I have concerns or would to expect and the app help with the information it’s giving with paragraphs or videos and it’s the things that people won’t tell you or don’t remember to tell knew moms and the app would get you ready for it. I’ve learn things that my mom who has six kids never told me while she was helping me prepare for my daughter or my sister who has 3 kids never told me they tell you all of the basic information and I’m glad I came across this app . I’ve been using this app for both my kids oldest going to be 3 soon and still using it

What happened??. I have been using this app for years and every 6 months or so it seems like an new update messes everything up. Last time it was the insane amount of pop ups, I think that’s finally been fixed, although sometimes I’ll still be redirected to my browser for an ad that I never clicked on. Whatever they did with this new update makes my app run SUPER slow and laggy and makes my phone heat up super hot! I have a newer I phone and don’t have this issue on any other apps. The only thing that somewhat helps is deleting and reinstalling the app, but that only works for a maybe a day before the lagging and freezing and heating up starts again. I’m honestly hardly using the app anymore because I’m afraid it’s going to fry my phone. It’s really frustrating bc I love the features of the app and the community and being able to post, especially since I’m 30 weeks pregnant. Just wish there was a way to work out the constant glitches.

Love this app !. I’ve been using this app since I first found out I was pregnant. I love being able to know how big she is, what’s going on with her growth & inside the womb & what’s going on with my growing bump as well! My favorite part of the app would definitely be the community tab - if I have a question about anything, I can always make a post with my concern or can find other past posts that were regarding the same issue i’m having. Sometimes during pregnancy, you definitely can feel alone, & I feel like the community tab definitely helps those feelings subside when you see just how many other women are going through exactly what you are. Especially when you join a topic for your due date month! I’ve met so many different girls who are due either on the same day, or same week as I am & it makes me happy to know that I’m not the only one experiencing this or that. Definitely would recommend this app to anyone who is expecting, even the S/O or a family member can join the app to see your progress too! (A plus is that you can continue to use the app even after your baby is born, the community topics extend far past postpartum too!).

Best Pregnancy App. This is my first pregnancy, but I’ve tried almost every other app and most of them are just weird, don’t track properly or you have to pay, this app is completely free and there’s a huge community of people and several different groups customized to age, gender of baby, gestational age, anxiety, even moms who have already had their kids that still talk and need advice from each other. The baby tracking is great and you can chose what little fruit or prop represents your baby for the week. There’s so many tools that help you track so many things and even has little articles about almost everything. This app helps you learn so much if you want to as well, and like I said it’s all free, there’s even weekly videos you can watch on how your baby is developing, and how it tracks the development is insanely accurate, and because there’s such a big community there’s people that are going through what your going through and so much more, and if you end up making a post, you’re definitely guaranteed to always get a response from atleast a few people. I love this app so much and and thinking about even keeping it after my pregnancy to join groups with moms after pregnancy. If you’re looking for a baby app this one really is the way to go!

I love this app but. i love this app i’ve used it since i found out i was pregnant. i love the weekly videos showing how my baby is developing and i love you can pick different objects to compare your baby size to. (right now my baby is the size of a pokémon playing card). The only thing that bothers me is the information seems to be a little outdated or incorrect. There was a video a couple weeks ago where the information seemed outdated but i can’t remember what it was so it must have not been that important. this week i am 13 weeks pregnant which means i’m in my second trimester, but the app still says first. it’s a small detail and probably not that important it just confused me when i woke up and had a notification i was still in my first trimester when that’s just not true. other than that though i recommend this app to anyone :)

Be Wary of Boards. This app is nice in that it shows you your pregnancy’s progress and allows you to know some fun facts about your baby’s development each week. But - beware of the community boards. I thought it would be nice to bond with women in the same stage of pregnancy. Talk about good products or talk about your symptoms. There is some of that, but very little. Instead you find the first month or two it’s just a bunch of women posting their negative pregnancy tests asking if we somehow see a positive line in the picture that they don’t see, then it’s mostly very uneducated posts asking people to guess gender based on Chinese calendars or your gut feeling. Many moms to be give really bad advice, like eating dangerous foods, being ok with smoking as long as you’re trying to quit at some point, and other really shocking things. I feel like no one posts anything from a reliable source and a lot of what is asked could be so easily googled. I try to answer with data because I feel bad for people who truly don’t know and are possibly causing harm, but the amount of encouragement for people who are choosing to remain uneducated is very high. I would stay away from the boards.

Bullied off the app. It has cool week to week updates on how your baby is developing but so do many other apps. The discussion boards are supposed to be a place where you can talk from one mom to another and get support. Instead it’s a place for keyboard warriors (some who aren’t pregnant) to harass, bully and curse at you. No hormonal expecting mother deserves that treatment from strangers. I was excited to connect with other moms at first but it turned sour fast. There is no way to delete a post you make or a comment. So you just continue to get bullied and the app does nothing about it. When I went to delete my account there is no button to do so. You have to email their support team and it took two days. I told them that I was being bullied and mentioned that there should be a delete button on the discussion board and for your account without the lengthy process and they ignored me, even though in the email they sent it said “ If you any further questions, please don't hesitate to reply and let me know.” Don’t get this app. I suggest downloading Baby Center.

Information is marginal, community is horrid. The app provides very little information to expectant mothers, a few short non-meaningful articles and the size of the baby as it develops. The videos are absolutely horrid. The email spam is ridiculous. The community, especially Hot Topics is an echo chamber for bitter, miserable women who will beat down anyone who do not agree with them politically. When I say echo chamber, it’s just that. Even to the point where some of the regulars create new accounts with different user names just to agree with themselves in a debate. WTE is obviously ran by people who are politically left, as they allow anyone with leftist ideology to bully and name call those who aren’t. It’s an extremely toxic environment - with women who have been around since the beginning of the App. Ugh. I don’t recommend this at all to anyone who actually wants to enjoy their pregnancy, stress free and untainted by the miserable musings of rich stay at home left leaning women who feel superior to everyone else. They have found a sounding board to spend their miserable lives in and cyber bully people who aren’t like them and then pat each other on the backs and comfort each other about what great sensitive caring people they are. Find something better to do, there are certainly more informative less ridiculous pregnancy apps out there.

1st Pregnancy. All I can say is WOW! This app is very helpful when it comes to new aches and pains during pregnancy. Whenever I get worried about a new symptom, “what to expect” app calms me down and saves me the trips to the hospital. Its amazing how punctual this app is, this week I experienced (RLS) with very bad leg cramps in the morning, I checked my emails and there it said I would be experiencing that well at least (1 in 15%) women do, and I happened to be one. Things like that gives me reassurance that what I am feeling is completely normal and again saves me a hospital trip. Another time I was having very bad sinus pressure and again the app explained that the nose vessel membranes can get swollen which causes nasal congestion. Which I just took Robotussin and got better within a day or 2. The fact that its free and still give’s helpful information!! I was recommended this app now I recommend it to other friends who are expecting (:

Great app for tracking pregnancy; some minor issues. I downloaded this app when I found out I was pregnant in January and have been using it since. I really enjoy it for the most part, the size comparisons (although I don’t believe they’re super accurate), the breakdown of symptoms each week, baby’s growth each week, and being able to join discussion boards and communicate with other members who are also going through the same pregnancy stages. I do think there could be a little bit better moderation in certain discussion groups as there seems to be quite a bit of moms who are very judgemental and shameful. I have never posted a question on any discussion board as I’m afraid I’ll get backlash from someone being judgemental and thinking they know everything. I also noticed that if you use the app for a period of time, it starts to glitch out and become very slow, basically forcing you to have to exit out of it. Other than that, I think this is a great app for tracking pregnancy despite a few minor issues.

Absolutely love it !. I have no complaints about this app. It’s user friendly, loaded with information and resources for pregnant moms and moms who have kids already. I’m in my first pregnancy third trimester and have come to this app several times to the discussion board to ask a bunch of questions and everyone is just so incredibly helpful. You don’t realize how much truly changes with your body the first time you go through pregnancy, and it’s so reassuring to have other moms in the same boat as you along with experienced moms to help answer any questions. I love that it shows the progress of the size of your baby as you progress through each week of your pregnancy along with what to expect each week. This app is truly incredible for all moms and I can’t recommend it enough.

Really nice straightforward app. I’ve used this with two of my pregnancies now and it’s worked great for me. Me and my husband love the baby size comparisons as well as the chats that you can make or enter in order to get advice or tips from other soon to be moms! It’s really helpful in terms of getting me started with my registry and I love how simple it is. The videos make me happy cause I love seeing the size or my baby in reference to my belly and the different milestones my babies are reaching that week! I wish it offered some more information on babies born early and such. As well as different things to look out for in terms of mastitis ,preeclampsia.. etc. And I would totally love to have a contraction tracker within the same app! Rather than having to download another but other than that it’s overall great! So excited to use it for future pregnancies. I’ve already recommended it a couple of my friends and they find it helpful too.

Makes this experience easier and even more exciting!. I love this app! It’s a great tool during pregnancy and keeps me completely in-the-know about what’s happening in my body. I get so excited each week to open it up and watch my weekly video, my husband watched the videos with me so we both know exactly what’s happening and developing. Knowing what the baby looks like and having an idea of what’s growing that week makes the experience even more exciting to me. I love being informed, it makes me feel more at ease. This app definitely helps with that. I also love the community message boards - for the most part. I try to only look at them a couple times a week, some women post things that can make me feel worried or I compare myself to them. I have to remind myself that every pregnancy is different! And I try to keep myself from opening the “scary” posts that could make me feel uneasy or stressed out. Even though I totally understand why someone with concerns would post to a message board - I just overthink! Overall, this app is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!

I tell all my pregnant friends about this app!!. I’ve used this app my whole pregnancy, 37 weeks now and baby boy will be here soon!! I love this app so much I have learned so much about pregnancy because of this app. I love the community of women on this app as well, everyone is so helpful I always come here to ask questions. Every week this app has been pretty spot on new symptoms that will arise at that time of pregnancy. Just appreciate the app so much thank you! Update: gave birth to beautiful baby boy he is 4 weeks now. Not only was this app great during my pregnancy it gets even better for my postpartum! Every week I get emails regarding the health and development that my baby May experience and it is so spot on! It’s like as soon as I notice something different about my babe I’m getting an email from WTE detailing what it is. It’s crazy how it’s so on track with the babies development. I love the articles on there you learn so much inform and I love the WTE community!

Unbelievably Helpful!!. It took me years to consider even having a child. Then years to actually get pregnant. Now in my wise old age ( don’t you dare ask!) I felt like I actually knew nothing!! What to Expect book was a godsend and answered so many questions I didn’t knew I had. So when I found the WTE app, it was an easy option for tracking my pregnancy and most helpful postpartum. I shared this app with my mother-in-law and we gabbed endlessly about our growing new family member. It was a perfect way to bond with her The weekly emails and access to interesting articles gave me life while sitting in bed with a baby attached to my body!! Articles take you week by week on what actually to expect!! From fetal development, expecting symptoms, to baby sleep and eating cycles!! Again knowing nothing before motherhood, I felt totally engaged and informed reading through the app and site!! I would encourage mothers of every age to download the APP!!!

Really teaches you what to expect!. I am pregnant with my first baby and I totally love this app. Every feature is useful, and I find the UI much easier to navigate than other pregnancy apps, even paid or subscription based apps. The weekly updates are so exciting and I look forward each week to watching the new videos to learn about my baby’s development. ALL of the content on this app is A+. I probably read 3-5 UNIQUE articles every day, surfaced in my app or in the lifecycle emails. I have yet to come across a piece of content from What to Expect that was not well written, thoughtful, or useful. I stay away from the forums (not good for those of us who have anxiety or are overthinkers) but all the other features are awesome, like the trackers, due date calendars, and registry helps. There are a number of ads, but I find them to be well placed in the product so they aren’t a distraction from the UI and the products promoted are actually useful and relevant to the phase of pregnancy you are in. I really like the journal feature but I do wish I could see it in a calendar view instead of just a list view. But it’s been very helpful to track medications, weight, and symptoms to review with my doctor. Overall I’m totally sold on this app and I think it speaks to the quality of the What to Expect brand and legacy.

Very informative but not gender inclusive.. I downloaded this app once I got my positive pregnancy test results. It has been extremely informative and helpful throughout this process so far. I haven’t utilized all the features within the app but I see that it has so much more to offer then just the week by week videos. My major frustration with this app is the how that week by week videos assume babies gender. This might be a minor thing to some but it’s something that really frustrates me. I don’t understand why a whole video )I.re.: week 24) was filmed referencing the baby as a male when half of the audience could be having a female? It’s kinda isolating. Also I know this is for some a more modern approach but assuming the pregnant person is a Mom or a cis female is also very presumptuous. If at any point this app & the book it’s based on choose to step into the modern day I hope they choose to be less gender assuming and more inclusive to all people regardless of their gender identity.

Options on pregnant or not.. I thought I found out very early on that I was pregnant. I’m talking three weeks. I was ecstatic! I set up my profile and couldn’t wait to watch my baby grow. But I took more pregnancy tests again and again hoping to get a stronger line to show family and friends. (The original test was pretty strong there was no denying it was positive I just wanted more before telling family). But time and again all I got were negatives. Turns out I had gotten the rare and elusive false positive. I got my period about a week and a half after said positive. It broke my heart to have to say I wasn’t pregnant and that we wouldn’t be expecting our first. But I didn’t lose the pregnancy there just never was one. So it made me feel like a failure for not getting pregnant in the first place and an imposter for all those mommas out there hurting because they’d lost theirs. I wish you had another option for closing out the profile not just loss or birth. Perhaps a mistake or accidental set up. That is my only complaint about the app. Otherwise I loved all the information at my fingertips which would definitely help me from going down the google black hole.

i'm 18 and got pregnant and this app is amazing. i'm not going to lie i'm 18 years old and i got pregnant not on purpose, this app has REALLY taken away the stress and anxiety away of not knowing what's going on. you can have your family and friends tell you things here and there but this app just... it just makes you feel good. there's no judgment, it's like celebrating the fact you're pregnant which for someone like me in my case really helps. this app actually tells you a lot about the baby and the baby's development, down to what's organs are forming that week. the other great thing is it offers you help with finding things you would need to buy for your baby and how to get good deals and whatnot. honestly it's a really easy to use app that helps a lot, so if you are pregnant or trying to be this app is a great lil tool to have. (also the whole function of the app is so cute and simple but not to simple, really helps get a break from all the crazy... everything😅)

Censorship. As others have said, the censorship is a huge problem. Some of the community is also pretty toxic as well. The funny thing is, the moderators do absolutely nothing about the disrespectful people in the community, but are quick to delete posts that don’t fit their agenda because they claim it’s “false information” or “disinformation”. I shared an abstract section of a scientific article based on factual toxicology reports, written by a medical scientist. It was used to just simply share information and I wasn’t declaring it to be “truth” and I was respectful, but nonetheless, WTE deleted it. So basically WTE picks and chooses which science is correct and if you disagree, you are accused of spreading misinformation. Also, people in groups have came forward, stating how the disrespect from some users makes them uncomfortable posting or interacting with other people. It’s a big problem, yet WTE moderators are more concerned about comments that indicate any degree of being pro-life. I really liked this app at first and have been a frequent user, but after seeing where WTE’s priorities lie, I may need to find a different community. I think WTE would benefit from hiring unbiased moderators

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Very informative!. I greatly recommend this app for 1st time pregnancies & high risk/complicated pregnancies. Pregnancy is scary! But this app allows you to ease your mind some. App gives interesting & accurate information about your baby AND your body! Information is very thorough, yet explained/written in a way that’s understandable (Even provides pictures). App also has a simple layout, which makes navigating/searching topics easy. APP HIGHLIGHTS: 1. Weekly growth tracking of baby -become informed with what’s happening to ur baby inside the womb. Information is throughly explained + u can view pictures & watch videos. (It’s cool to compare with your dr visits & ultrasounds) 2. Weekly tracking/explanation of changes ur body goes thru, will go thru & WHY it must do so - Start to truly understand & become in tune with ur body. (Things u may normally go to the dr for is probably just an annoying pregnancy symptom) 3. Able to Look ahead for u & baby - want to know when those Charlie horses will stop happening in the middle of the night?! Download this app! Lol 4. Baby’s size is compared to fruit & a few other things that’ll fascinate you & make you giggle. 5. Helpful & informative articles available for numerous pregnancy topics. 6. Due date/Account Easy to change/update - had 2 unsuccessful pregnancies, used app for all 3 pregnancies & was easy to update & prior information was deleted.

Great app. When I became pregnant & found this app, it was such a wellspring of information (as well as the What to Expect bible!) that helped me understand what was going on with my body & hormones for the whole 9 months. I'd share the information with my husband & even he became the one to remind me "Hey, there's a new video to watch today." It helped open up conversations about topics that may otherwise have not come up & we both gained a greater understanding of & reverence for the miracle of pregnancy & birth. Also, the community chats were wonderful. It was comforting to know that there was a place I could go to & ask weird or embarrassing questions and find others in the same awkward boat. Plus, it was enlightening to see questions that otherwise wouldn't have occurred to me. I'm very grateful for this app & would recommend it to anyone who needs a little pregnancy education day by day.

Little consistency. I’m very disappointed in this app, as I thought it would be a great way to track the size of our baby between appointments, knowing it of course wouldn’t be exact. I have the app on my phone, and my husband has it on his phone. All the same information entered about our pregnancy but it rarely has the same information regarding size. We are 38 weeks currently, and it’s telling me that she’s the size of a small watermelon, 19-20in & 7lb, where his days she’s the size of Swiss chard 19-22in & 6.5lb. Again I know it won’t sync with exactly how big our baby is, but I don’t understand why our apps are telling us two different things. SOME of the articles/videos are appropriate but they don’t always cater to the season, or where you are in the pregnancy, which is annoying, as pre-pregnancy stuff is useless to me. Then as others have mentioned, there is the amount of spam emails received, to the point where I unsubscribed to the emails because it was annoying and way too much. Overall I think next time I’m pregnant I will be finding a different app to use, as this one has been very lacking!

Amazingly helpful. It has everything. The main questions you have, and the main topics you haven’t thought of! I’m a first time mom and it literally got me through every step of each of your weeks and trimesters. It helped us know what to look out for in the coming weeks and why I would suddenly get, what seemed to me, this weird random issue or symptom. We forgot to keep a pregnancy journal, so I will definitely be using this app with our coming children. We also read their books and it had the same information , but obviously in a higher quantity. If you have any questions or concerns about the app literally just try a couple different kinds, which is what we did, and I guarantee this one will be the most organized while giving you a great experience!

New parents check this app out!. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt like during the time of finding out you or your partner is pregnant there’s a lot of searching for the right apps, people, or products you should use and so I wanted to make it a little easier for expecting parents to see someone who cares about what they are going through and hopefully you won’t have to continue app searching after my review. I am expecting a baby girl and I am 5 months along. I have used this app since the beginning of my pregnancy and since then have tried a few other apps just making sure i’m using the one I enjoy the most. What to Expect has lots of awesome features hence why I love it. It has an option to show you how much your belly will grow along with your baby size week by week. If i have any upcoming events happening I love to see what to expect when the date comes along! I also really enjoy the fact there are multiple short videos every week for you to watch about what your baby will be developing in the womb week by week. Something else I really like about this app is it has a community area where you can join groups that fit you and you can ask whatever questions you would like or you can read over already asked questions or give advice of your own. It’s a great place for you to feel better when weird side effects come along. Definitely try out this app!

Helpful ! First timer. Gives lots of little tips and tricks and answers questions that you don’t really think of . Then again there’s plenty of things that u do wonder that they tell you almost at the perfect time of them telling it to you. Gives little videos that instruct you what is good or bad for you and your baby . All in all it’s a very good little app. I love it that it prompts me how big she is and how heavy she is and of course how far I am. That’s always something your trying to add up in the beginning and it’s right there for ya. Haha . Very nifty little app. Maybe add in a couple of things like what we should eat how often we should eat etc . My babies weight is low and I’d love to know how to make it increase naturally especially the last weeks that I’m in (I’m 33weeks along) they’re suppose to gain 1/2 lb each week according to the app and my dr so knowing what could help increase her weight would be very “helpful” haha Thanks!

Love the app, but size of baby is not accurate.. I love this app as it is super helpful to me and it shows me symptoms I’m having and I’m able to verify they are normal. I also love reading what the baby is doing in my belly and how she is developing, however, the size of my baby is not accurate. I’m 19 weeks and 2 days as of right now and the app is saying she is as big as a mango. But, last week the app stated she’s as large as a cucumber. So I went ahead and skipped to week 20 and it’s staying she will be 6.5 inches, then I skipped to week 21 after that and it said she will be 11 inches. That did not seem right to me, so I went ahead and googled how big she will be around 21 weeks and google says 7 inches. I know my OBGYN and ultrasound can show me how large she actually is, but it would be nice to know while I’m at home the actual size of her because I have to wait 2-3 weeks, sometimes 4 to see her on ultrasound.

Great app. So much information in one app, love the baby size and all the information given for the week you’re pregnant. All the groups are so handy to have to and really makes you feel apart of a community

So helpful and even comforting. When you can’t bother your doctors 24/7 it’s so good to have reference tool and stories from other people to make you less insane!

What to expect. Honestly such a good app makes me so excited every week to see how the baby changes, the information the app gives you is amazing

Starting to get a hang of the app. Still learning how to update things upload things and all that stuff but the app is pretty good at self. It loads perfectly fine it’s pretty much the resemblance to what I think is perfect and I like it

Watching and learning my pregnancy. Iv used this app every time I’ve had kids #3 on the 3rd now and I still get amazed by the growth it’s so amazing learning exactly what’s going on if ur looking for an app show u updates on what’s going on pics ect this is it !!

Love it!!!!. Loving this app! It’s amazing and has sooo much information! It’s extremely handy to keep track of how your feeling and I love being able to see the daily tips as well as your babies progress 🙏

Love this app !!. Really love this app! I downloaded it when I found out I was pregnant and use it every week to track bubbas growth and read helpful and insightful articles ♥️♥️🤰 Really recommend this app for pregnancy ♥️🤰

Loving this baby app. We have loved using this app from pregnancy all the way to our new born arriving in this world. The daily updates with tips and tricks + discussion groups and ability to track baby is just amazing! Highly recommend all current or future parents to give it a go!

Great app. Helped me keep in touch with each step and what was happening with my body and baby. Great visualisations and tips plus a community forum. Symptoms at each week were spot on. Love the 90s nostalgia baby size comparisons 😂

Boops bub. This app is very informative and has lots of awesome information. Only prob is it is based in America so sone of the info is not relevant like maternity leave payment etc.. however I wish I downloaded it sooner and will highly recommend to others!!

Very informative. Such a lovely app which feels supportive during the most surreal time of your life. I think I’ve clicked on every video and every arrivals that I can so far and can’t wait to unlock more!

Glitch in App?. I found this app most annoying to use as it would always have an issue recording the duration of time for breast feeding which resulted in having to manually record it instead. Not sure why it keeps happening - almost 80% of the time. Deleting this app today and finding an improved app with an efficient functionality. Defeats the whole purpose if I have to manually record it!

Great app with links to heaps of articles. I started out trialling Sprout app but noticed that the info in relation to what’s happening to my body was light on. As this is my first pregnancy, I found myself searching for info that kept leading me to What to Expect… so I cancelled Sprout and switched to WTE instead. I find there are a few too many emails and personally I’m not into chat groups (everyone is so different) but overall WTE has everything you need.

My first pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy,My sister told me that she tried & payed for so many apps an she couldn’t find any she liked. She recommended this app saying it’s her favourite. I couldn’t agree anymore, specifically knowing I can communicate with other pregnant woman around the world and getting everyone’s feed back any opinion and ideas to help with my pregnancy 😊. Also the tracking is very accurate and there videos of explaining how far you are along how your baby is growing and what is happening to your body is really helping me and understanding more and more about my little one.

Lots of information and helpful features. Great app, instant due date calculation and each week it provides a wealth of information about your pregnancy. Things are written in such a friendly, normal tone too, so it’s not all formal “science speak” about pregnancy. Thank you WTE for a great app!

Super helpful app. I love being able to connect with other mums and mums to be. Seeing how my baby is growing and what is going on with my body is amazing. I would love to be able to record mine and my babies details. Like symptoms, test results, ultrasound pictures. Daily/weekly wellbeing, temp, weight, appetite, illness, discharge, mood, cramping, sleeping. Just somewhere to keep record of things that may be important or useful in the future.

So easy to use and great info. So happy to have found this wonderful app I can see and follow the development of my baby week by week it’s awesome!! Also all the answers you might have about pregnancy are there too! So happy!

Best Pregnancy App!!!. Absolutely love this app. I have used it for all 7 of my pregnancies. Extremely informative but not to the point where it is overwhelming. Gives you the information you need. The chat forums are also really good.

Second baby. Using this app for the second time now. I love all the tips and the little growth pictures. Has informative videos.

Great update but please fix content sharing. I love the new update that just came through. I’ve got a couple of issues with sharing the info though. If I share a video it doesn’t send the video, only a still image. In this new update, there is no share button when I’m inside the articles. I want to be able to share those too. Great app overall. That’s why I want to share the info with my husband and Mum.

Great app. I really do love this app, but as an Australian some of the recommendations on certain things is a little off, ie don’t have access to certain products or services or they’re just a little different in Aus. But that’s so minor I still rate 5 ⭐️

Helping with staying positive. When you’re a professional woman investing loads of time and personal money into moving forward with career goals and your merina fails on you - it’s really quite immobilising... Having a check point, a guidance centre, advice on tap and videos to send to family and friends helps take the load off from the constant pressure of feeling like you’re mildly dying. As a result - I feel a lot better about what to expect. Thank you 🥰

Love!!. This app is super helpful if you’re pregnant, just had a baby or healing from child loss ! Everything in this app is free no ads or anything I think it’s good for all females and even fathers if they like to know what’s happening in pregnancy 🤰🏽 week by week 😍❤️

Incorrect advice. I am concerned this app doesn’t provide parents with biologically normal infant sleeping advice. I find it would be more beneficially if the founders of the app reviewed some of their advice and perhaps offered alternatives to suggested sleep training. It is never a one size fits all. Unfortunately, the forums can be very judgemental and not much moderation occurring which can make it hard to request advice. I wouldn’t bother downloading this app, I don’t believe it has a supportive community approach or presents parents with correct (compiled and controlled researched studies) about different aspects of babies sleep.

Informative & educational. An informative and educational app, particularly for first-time parents who might have questions they’re not finding answers to elsewhere. Only criticism is that it’s very unique to the US. Living outside of the US I don’t use the app for resources related to medical care or things to buy for mum/baby. Hopefully one day this app can be broadened to include resources located outside of the US.

Great tool for pregnancy!. What to expect is a wonderful tool for pregnancy, it has different options to visually help with the size of your baby. (Like Disney, things out of movies, fruit etc). It also has group discussions for all different types of things, (local people, people with the same month due dates, etc) highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very informative. Being a first time mum, this app isn’t just informative week by week about the baby growths but also has so much other handy information to read about and pretty much gives all the information you need as a new mummy.

Nice design and great community. This app has a really nice aesthetic and I love learning about the weekly changes to my body and baby. By far the best part for me is the community forum - where you are put into a group for your baby’s birth month. It has been reassuring to read and ask questions to other mamas to be, on occasions a little worrying (miscarriage posts can be anxiety inducing), but overall a resource I have really depended on so far in my pregnancy. It does tend to be very American centric, so I sometimes check the babycenter app for more Australian oriented stuff. Definitely recommend this app :)

What to expect is the best. The best app ever . This app has helped me to fall pregnant and as helped through ever stage of the pregnancy to know how your foetus is growing . It helps you to know what milestones to look out for when parenting a child . I will recommend.

Truly love it. It really helps to make you things you may not have thought of, discuss topics you may not feel comfortable having with other people, and there is just so much guidance and information for first time parents to be. The tracking and updates of the baby’s progress and growth and size is amazing in itself. This app really is the best.

Helpful and fun!. I’ve really enjoyed tracking my baby growing using this app. It has daily tips which is really fun and useful to check the app each day. Relevant information for symptoms I may be experiencing and articles which loads of information. Love it!

The most informative app I’ve ever used. It’s been my bible, the go-to resource for understanding and reassuring that the development of my pregnancy and child is in the right direction. I recommend it to everyone I know who is expecting. It is evident from the quality and preciseness of the balanced information that the creator of this app has done a lot of research and analysis to make sure every aspect of pre & post pregnancy on weekly basis as well child growth & development on weekly & later monthly basis is holistically addressed. I am so fortunate & grateful to have come across this app. It’s a representation of selfless help lend out to mankind as a whole. Thank you for your service through this wonderful app.

Terrible, ancient app. Hey WTE, hasn’t anyone told you that it’s 2018? I downloaded this app in 2012 and it’s barely changed. It is full of ads that interrupt every conversation you attempt in the forums. Add to that constant crashing, and many of us have given up on posting altogether. The developers decided that they don’t wish to validate emails, and so everyone can post simultaneously under 30 different screen names. Way to secure us. The app stinks and you need to get your shît together.

Nat. App is easy to use, user friendly interface and pictures makes tracking the journey enjoyable. It’s helpful that there are notes or small articles to read on body development and about what to expect during that period of my pregnancy.

Love. This is my first baby and Iv used this app from 8 weeks of my pregnancy (when I found out I was pregnant) I’m now 36 weeks and still using it every week for updates. It’s such a fun way to learn how your baby is growing and what you have to look forward to it is also very helpful! Would recommend this app to everybody especially new mums it has helped me a lot.

Feeds deleted after recent update. Recently updated this app and since then feeds on the tracker are automatically getting deleted. Very frustrating as now I need to go back and re-add them having remembering what time I fed. Please correct as I really do love this app.

Easy and fun. I love that this app has just the right amount of information without making it hard work to upload info or looking for articles, I wish it had links for recommendations to buy and see useful things for baby and pregnancy but overall is great! I love it!

Life saver!!. This app has everything you need from start to finish when it comes to babies, my favourite part is interacting with woman from around the world that are in the same boat, so to speak! Got an itch? Feel a bit funny? Haven’t felt the baby move? Putting on too much weight? Not putting on enough? Ask the hundreds of thousands of woman who can give you instant advice; support and real stories on their real life experiences. You’ve got a question, or a worry? You’re not alone and this app, and the community will show you why. 100% recommend to anyone trying to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, or just curious! Even the dads get a good look in! Favourite baby app so far!

My pregnancy bible!. I love love love this app!! Anytime something strange was happening or I complained about a certain weird symptom to my partner- I looked at the app and it was always spot on for that week. Especially lightening pain... ouch! It was good to know what that was!! We made it a tradition to log on every Friday morning to watch our weekly video.

Helpful resource!. I only discovered this app late into my pregnancy, but wished I had found it earlier! Lots of helpful information about a range of topics, and the user interface and graphics are done very well. Will definitely continue using it, and use it from the start of any subsequent pregnancies.

Fun, informative app. What to Expect is an awesome app for first time mums learning about pregnancy and how their body is changing. The chat rooms are also comforting knowing there’s so many of us going through the same symptoms and share similar concerns etc.

Peace of Mind. I used this app from 5 weeks and love the updates. It’s great to know what is happening to your body as a FTM as a lot that came with pregnancy was totally unexpected to me....like eye sight can play up while pregnant? For real! The best part was the forum. Seeing other women asking questions and discussing what the heck was doing with our bodies. It was so reassuring. There were a few scary ones of people experiencing losses and early labour so if you have any kind of anxiety - read the headers before clicking 🙂

Oops something went wrong. I keep getting an “oops something went wrong, we couldn’t load your activity feed, we’ll be back up and running soon” error for the last week I am having to go through and search for comments and posts now and it’s annoying I have updated the app and it’s still not working

Anonymous. A really great app! I used it during my pregnancy and continue to use it once baby is born. The weekly videos of information about milestones and things that usually occur are really useful and there’s also lots of great links to different articles. Helped me a lot during my pregnancy and sleepless nights. Have recommended it to a few of my pregnant friends!

Easy to use. information with diagrams or illustrations make easy to understand the week by week progress

Very happy!. The app is amazing keeps every Mum up to date and informed everyday!! You can always refer to it and feel safe and secure about what your going through and how your feeling! It’s a must have for every mummy to be!! It’s my 3rd baby and I still am using it every day.

Wonderful App!. What an awesome app! I use this app almost every day to get info and learn new things about my pregnancy journey. I also love how they automatically find you a community group that has people due around the same time as you. Very helpful and is my go to source on finding information!

Really informative and engaging content. I’m so glad I downloaded this app, it’s definitely an investment worth making for first time mums to be. I love the little tips that pop up each day, the science, the educational videos and size comparisons of my baby each week.

Outdated advice and unsupportive forums. This app was great for my birth month homeboard, but a lot of the tips and advice are unhelpful, judgemental or even wrong according to more recent research (in areas of sleep, settling, feeding etc). It is also very USA specific, so some of the advice clashes with Australian guidelines. Also, many of the forums - even some birth month forums - are dominated by a few opinionated personalities who often bully other posters and are poorly moderated in that regard. I found it a very unsupportive app for new mothers all round.

The best pregnancy app. The group discussions are my favourite part of the app.. the late night random thoughts or anxiety about anything and having a community to answer all of your questions and share your experience makes things so much easier and less stressful

Great App. This is a great app, not only for daily and weekly updates, but the community chat groups. I use this everyday, it’s most definitely the best app for pregnancy:)

Amazing app!. I love how much detail the app give you. It's easy to read, understand and navigate. I love being able to see the size of my baby each week

Censorship. Great app unfortunately you can’t be conservative without getting your comments deleted.

Great app !. Love it

Amazing. This app has been wonderful for me since I downloaded it about 5 weeks ago. The details are assuring and informative. Great videos and images to go along with each week upstate. Very much would recommend this so for future mommas!

Language. Would be nice if it was in french too !

Love it. I really recommend this app to new parents or parents to be.

Awesome app!. Loooove this app! Great tips everyday, I love the forums where all the moms can exchange about their pregnancy!!

Too many ads. I couldn’t get myself to use this app because of excessive amounts of ads. I saw more ads than relevant information.

Pregnancy. Nice

3rd pregnancy. This will be my third pregnancy I’ve used this app. Love it! Great info and love following along every week to the updates.

Incredible!. Very good app, been using it ever since I found out I was pregnant

Happy to use this app. ❤️ love it

Skinny people used in photos. Come on guys, this is unacceptable. Please get some reasonable looking women if you’re going to use models - not skinny ladies

I love it. ❤️❤️❤️

favourite baby app!. ive used this app for all three of my pregnancies and its helped me alot :) especially being a young mom! they have tons of chats & discussions for anyone just started out or who might not have the sources to talk to other moms. its a very lovely app with everything you need to know!

Sooo helpful. I’m appreciate of this app and the information, especially being as this is my first pregnancy.

Very helpful. Love the information it given us and how detailed a lot of things are.

Trolling ruins the space. Racism is very prevalent.. I’ve been using this app for quite a few years now. It’s been helpful along the way. I’ve become a part of a community of strong women. WTE needs to do more about taking care of troll posts... especially those that are racist and violent. They need to develop policies that block IP addresses so that trolls can’t just make a new account to continue their harassment. I’ve seen some of the most heinous comments and posts to many of the women of colour on the board. There should be a policy so strong against the actual death threats I’ve seen that it is rarely, ideally never, seen. WTE should be protecting their user base and allowing them opportunity to bring legal action against threats and harassment. I’m incredibly disappointed that this isn’t a priority.

The best. Great app

Great and easy. Great information, easy to use

Simple and Easy to use. Super helpful for keeping track of feeds and diaper changes !! Highly recommend

Loose the Flipping liquor ads!!. I think it’s pretty offensive to be subjected to a booze advertisement before learning about my baby’s development! That’s gotta change. As an alcoholic with over a decade of sobriety under her belt, the last thing I want to see is an ad for booze while pregnant no less! That has to change!

Recommend. It is Fantastic. I love it

Help with acknowledgment and writing something down. Yes, green hand parents need this app

Excellent application to feed you with necessary information. Try this app, i dont think anyone would be disappointed

Love this app !. User friendly. Informative. I like that there are pictures and videos!!

Pregnancy tracker. Perfect, easy to use… straight to the point and extra info if you want it 💕

Great App. I love everything about this app. Super informative.

I enjoy the Information. I like reading the little tidbits of information each week, and the weekly videos are nice too! I used this app to track my first pregnancy, now I’m using it again for my second.

Inconsiderate. Completely inconsiderate if you suffer a miscarriage. They have an option to mark pregnancy loss but still continue to send you emails as if you are still pregnant. Other apps do not do this. Deleted this app and won’t be using it again.

Love it!. It’s been really helpful for me through my first pregnancy

Best app ever!. Amazing app you can track more than one kiddo and this great! Love the insights the videos everything is great.

Great!. It’s been great. The weekly updates are on point!

Rate. So far it’s great, love that you get weekly info. It’s not really different from any other pregnancy app (that I have seen so far) I haven’t noticed any differences but I will keep it because it’s good.

It’s free love it. I have used the app for my last 3 pregnancy’s and my last one was a miscarriage. It had amazing support for me

Really helpful app during my whole preg. Great

Perfect App. Easy to navigate and chalk full of information. I’m a very excited dad to be and this app is helping with my obsession/excitement.

Lit. Awesome ✨

Login is a pain. Makes you login every time you switch screens in the app.

So informative. As a first time pregnancy the app is so informative and gives such great insights into how pregnancy is and differs from everyone and their own journey

It says I’m farther along than I am. I inputed my info for the calculated due date and it says that I’m 2 weeks farther along than I am..I tried changing my calculated date by putting in my conception date rather than my last period but no change. It says that I conceived 20 days earlier than what I put in, and when I try to change it in the settings it won’t save. If the dates were right I would be following the app closer because it has a lot of good information.

I love the community chat. Really helpful having people to talk to that are going through the same thing as you.

Great app. Super helpful and easy to use, the forum post via email are great. Good for if your bad at keeping track of time and days.

Awesome!!!. The best FREE pregnancy app out there!

Love it. I love using this app for keeping track. I used for my first 2 children.

Re. Great

Perfect. I’ve used this app for all my pregnancies and it’s great. It’s fun and comforting to track babies growth and get little bits of information about where you’re at in your pregnancy as well.

Great app. I have used this app for both of my pregnancies and love it. It has a lot of great information you want to know that is quick and easy to find. Highly recommend it !

A consideration to make. I have used this app a few times it is good but if i can make a suggestion. I have sadly had to opt out from the app 5 times due to reoccurring miscarriages. Each time i have come back the app try’s to go back to my previous pregnancy even tho i have entered into the app that i miscarried. Please consider changing this, my most recent loss has been very painful. However i hope to be back one day and it would be so nice to have a fresh start . Thank you for any consideration.

Accurate but needs one big addition. My wife and I recently visited the doctor and found out she was 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant; the app was spot on so we both decided to use this one. Me being interested in the progress and this being our first time child, our 🌈 baby I wanted to get involved. I unfortunately learned they the only way to see the progress was to login with my wife’s info or I had to create my own account and mimic the info she input. Pregnancy is a journey for two people, it takes two to tango. It would be valuable additional to share the mothers journey with their significant other instead of having to use loop holes. Adding the ability to send an invite which would allow the same access but under a separate account would be awesome maybe even perhaps make the experience specific to the father or mother or what ever as well.

If you’re into bullying, it’s the app for you. The app itself is informational but I’m not really picky. I have heard other women say the size comparisons are off and that they refer to your baby as a girl most of the time even after you change the gender to boy on your account. Again, none of this bothered me. BUT the community.... absolutely terrible. My first pregnancy I didn’t really go to the community boards, so for my second I starting exploring a bit more and read so many horrible comments from such mean women. Constant bullying, super political, god forbid you disagree or defend yourself because they would come out of the woodworks verbally attacking you. Extreme far left racist women that claim to be tolerant but are the complete opposite. I deleted it after falling victim to their verbal abuse. Crazyyyy. just like high school, where they write something mean and end their sentences with “LOL” like a group of mean girls. Such garbage, no monitoring. Like I said, decent app, horrendous community.

The best app for parents!. I LOVE this app! It’s a life saver for every parent, it’s literally my go-to for everything about baby. From my pregnancy to having baby and taking care of him everyday, I trust and love this app! They talk about all the milestones of pregnancy and parenthood in the right timing, with the right content and always with support. They say being informed make you feel less anxious, this is exactly what o feel with what to expect by my side! The articles are well thought and always with the right content and the right tone (not patronizing and not too much). There is expertise, care and great understanding of what parents go through. Thanks for creating such a safe and reliable space for us, I can’t imagine myself without this app!

Very helpful. I love using this app it helped ease a lot of my worry during my pregnancy especially joining a group that had the same due month. I would get on there and vent or look for advice and it was great because we were all basically feeling the same way and things which made me feel less crazy and paranoid lol it really helped me and I’m still using it to learn about my newborn. I would highly recommend this app to any new or continuing mom and I already have told friends and family members to download it. One thing though I would suggest is that they add something that shows the baby inside you and what’s happening to your organs and how the baby and placenta may be positioned in there.

Great find. I really clicked with this app when I was pregnant when I happen to be just finding out and it was such a good track or another and postpartum I love checking in with my monthly thread and the top messages, that comes from an update in my email. I don’t agree with everyone or everything on WTE but I love it. Just saw the cutest thread from my son’s birth month community board: our babies smiling! So these are people I saw posting bump pics and asking pregnancy Qs for 10 months are now showing off their babes! Also they have a great breast-feeding tracker that helped me stay on track for the first few weeks while I was getting the hang of it. Highly recommend to any pregnant woman, or woman with a baby, or even just breastfeeding women!

Second best pregnancy app!!. I have The Bump as well as “What to Expect” and “Baby Center” and The Bump is 100% my favorite. I keep What to Expect because I love the weekly videos, the lady is so nice and happy and I just love her tone. I had “Baby Center” because in the early stages, like first trimester, it had a lot of information about MY body that the other apps did not have - which I really enjoyed. This being my first pregnancy, I had no idea what to expect and “Baby Center” really helped with what to expect regarding my own body. Other than that, overall, The Bump is where it is at! I have really enjoyed all of the perks this app offers as well as the detailed information. 100% my favorite pregnancy app!! :) I highly recommend.

Great app for tracking and info!. Used to use Glow Baby for tracking but love the What to Expect tracker way better for my newborn! The info throughout the pregnancy was great for me (as the dad) to try to understand what momma was experiencing and try to be more cognizant of those symptoms. Once newborn was here, the feeding and diaper tracking is great to make sure little one is taken care of. Glow Baby was good for tracking with our first born a few years ago but now it’s pushing the subscriptions too hard to even see what the totals are for the day with feedings, this app is actually more user friendly and provides all the data I need without going “premium”. I highly recommend What to Expect”!

This app is just a space for cyber abuse!. I originally liked this app as I used it for my first pregnancy, and for various TTC questions throughout the years. For the past 6 months however, a certain user has been harassing me and commenting negatively on every forum, usually calling me a troll and stating none of my miscarriages were real when they have all been confirmed by a licensed Obgyn. When I finally reached my limit and reported her, the support desk deleted the comment, which prompted her to go off endlessly with comments. The desk then deleted 2 additional comments, and did nothing further except take away my ability to report her. They now will not reply to emails begging them to ban her due to breakage of community guidelines and terms of service. There is no other way to prevent her from doing this unless I delete the app and pursue this matter legally. Overall, if you are looking for a supportive group of ladies and informative tools for your TTC journey, FIND ANOTHER APP!!! This one is not safe!

Wonderful Resource!!! Highly Recommend!!!. I absolutely love this app! There are so many articles and videos! I loved being able to see how big my baby was in comparison to fruits. The daily tips were helpful too. This app has been my main resource throughout my pregnancy and now beyond - as I didn’t know that once you report the birth of your baby the app converts to give you tips on breastfeeding and pumping and other helpful information about your baby. I cannot get over how informative this app is! I would very strongly recommend this app to anyone who is expecting and/or nursing. It helps you keep track of feeding sessions, diaper changes, and how much you pump also.

It’s great for normal pregnancy. This app is really nice and offers a lot if you are having a normal journey. I feel like all these apps isolate those of us who have had baby’s supper early or are measuring way behind. My baby was born 26w but nothing really pertains to his development because it doses not take account adjusted age. Sure you go off weeks in nicu pertaining to how far he would be if still inside but that doesn't really relate much of his experience either keeping it as pregnant and even if you wait that long in the nicu it’s expected to have delays of some sorts. Not expecting anything wild but an app to just offer things like how March of dimes and hands to hold offer in a way of information but with the ability to track all the things you can track in this app because their is enough research to put some kinda of inclusion like that.

Many boards become hateful places. I loved this app when I used it for my daughter who was born in 2016. It was a supportive place where people helped each other through the difficulties and triumphs of pregnancy. It has great information and good resources. When I had my son in 2018, it was a much different experience. Since I had already had a child, many of the resources were not useful and the “communities” have become a place for internet trolls to attack other moms. Many of the boards become a place where there is constant arguing and attacking. When you reported another user for personal attacks or profanity, the comment you reported gets taken down but nothing is done to the user even after repeat offenses. For this reason I had to delete the app because of the amount of negativity it brought into my life. I rated it 2 stars only because it does have great resources and it is helpful if you are a FTM.

The community is TRASH. LITERAL TRASH.. Okay so I love tracking my pregnancy on this app, I like the layout and updates. I use a couple other apps as well, but the community on here is H O R R I B L E. The people in the groups will insult and harass you for anything they possibly can. Even the “support” groups. The people have this “holier than thou” complex and they use the anonymity of the forums to their full advantage. I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with such immature and ruthlessly horrible people in an anon community than this one. I’ve read through posts of people asking why everyone is so rude and they all admit to doing it because it’s anonymous. I’m considering deleting the app because of the community. I have made posts I’m so called “support groups” about my troubles and got nothing but hate and bullying. Don’t use the community and if you want one with a good community, get Ovia. The funny thing is, Ovia is more anon than this app and the people are SO MUCH nicer.

Best app for pregnancy and motherhood. I just had my first child in September, and I found this app not only incredibly helpful during pregnancy but as I am caring for a newborn as well. The app is very easy to use and it makes it very easy to continue finding information that’s helpful. One of my favorite things about the app is that the articles and information are in short summaries to make it easy to read through however if you want more information all you have to do is search for the topic and you’ll find a ton of more information that you can dive into. Weekly tracking during pregnancy was so helpful and now weekly/monthly tracking for the baby helps me know what to expect. This app is one stop shopping for pregnancy and motherhood.

Really recommend this app for first time moms!!. This app has been so helpful since the day I found out I was pregnant and still super helpful with my newborn! you can track how far along you are, it’ll update you with baby’s progress, tips on how to take care of yourself, if you experience any symptoms and what to expect and how to deal with! It even gives you advice as to what to bring to the hospital when going to labor, what to put on your registry, etc. what foods to avoid, lots of helpful stuff! Really recommend this app. I’m still using it with my 3 week old and plan to keep using it. It also has a lot of communities you can join to ask questions with other members who are also first time moms or moms with experience!! The most amazing app I’ve ever come across.

5th Pregnancy. This is my 5th pregnancy and I still default to this app. My first I downloaded them all but after I only use this one. I love that all my kiddos are saved and I can look back on their accounts. The only thing (very minor complaint) is that the “fruit” for babies size is a clipart/cartoon image instead of a real image like the other options. Also, funny note: my husband and I get a big kick out the the videos intro music every time we play it. We both know exactly what it is. It’s even funnier when each pregnancy has started. I start the video, volume up and wait for the music to start. He always smiles and rolls his eyes before scooting me over to watch the video. By now we have them memorized but we adore the hostess who’s in the video.

Best baby tracking app!. Love how it shows you week by week what is going on inside with your little one. Really helps with going through the symptoms you will have each week and gives you ideas to help with symptoms. I had a miscarriage and there is a spot where you can report that you had a miscarriage and it directs you to a whole community of other peoples experiencing what you may have gone through or something similar and even get to chat with others to help you mourn through such a a difficult time. I am not pregnant again and everything is going smooth so far. Definitely the best baby tracking app I have used! Give it a shot if you don’t believe me but trust me you will instantly fall in love with this app!

Used from early conception to 5mo baby :). Still using this app even when my baby is currently 5 almost 6 months! I loved the fetal tracking and seeing how big baby was becoming in womb. The symptoms and explanations that popped up every week were SO HELPFUL! I would always be telling my husband “I know this sounds weird but I feel like…” and then explain some super weird symptom and then come to find out the next day(using this app) that it’s a pregnancy symptom! There are several great tips posted every month (sometimes every week) and there are plenty of educational and trustworthy articles over almost anything you could think of when it comes to pregnancy and babies. The group discussion feature is really nice becUse you get to chat with so many moms worldwide who are all in similar positions as you! The network you build through discussion group is pretty cool (of course it’s a free for all so sometimes it can get out of hand with a bunch of over-emotional/hormonal women talking about not topics lol) Overall I highly recommend this app to everyone!!

First time mom. I’m a first time mom in first trimester and when I seen my test results I went in panic mode and was a deer in headlights lol. I instantly went to my App Store and searched I believe “pregnancy” and WTE came up with great reviews and up top! I instantly downloaded and I’m SO glad I did. I love the discussion boards not only for those in my same month EDD but for those who’ve asked the same questions I was thinking & who answer the questions with items they recommend/have used or don’t recommend. All of us moms are so different so I love to diversity and options when needing the help and also the discussions that are so motivating for us in the same boat. I also love the feature of choosing what I want my baby’s growth to depict (fruit, 90’s props, etc) so cute and creative! This app is truly what I needed and will recommend to my mama friends.

Best App. Best app to get when becoming a mother either a new mom to be or a currently a mother , it has updates and appointments and everything you need to know , many educational videos and articles and everything is great , would highly recommend especially for new mothers to be , even after pregnancy it will let you keep track of your newborn and so many more articles and videos to see and learn for proper care and everything needed to know outside of what you would know , amazing app , love it!! So informative and easy to use and it keeps track of your weeks and your due date and recommended doctor appointments ..etc . I love the weekly videos!! Especially being able to see what the baby is up to in the womb to be ready for delivery 💙💙💙💙🧸🧸greatest app!!!

Love WTE!. I love this app, its just one of a handful of crutial answers to any and all “why is my baby…” “when will my baby….” “how to help my baby….” etc. They have articles for all ages for basically any question you have. One thing I’d LOVE to see included is an option to save certain posts. I’ve noticed by looking through the app that they have all sorts of recommendations based on your childs age, and sometimes my son doesnt always hit the same developments or milestones at that exact month. So scrolling through the app and finding something that I know I may have questions or concerns about for when my son becomes a bit older would be much easier if I had a bookmarked page to keep said articles! I think the app would do wonders!!!

I love this app!!!. My entire pregnancy I have only been using this app. It is a very simple straight to the point on all of the fun info that I would want to know about me and my growing baby. I love that they show me weekly updates of his size and what is growing that week, for both me and him!! The feature where it allows you to be in a group with other women who have a similar due date as you is so helpful. It’s extremely comforting to read other women’s experiences that maybe your experiencing at the same time. Or maybe you have concerns, someone else may have those same concerns and you can go and see what everyone has to say about it. It’s really helped me through out the process of being pregnant for the first time!!

Highly Recommend. This app is amazing. Normally you get apps and you have to pay for every article you want to read, you have to pay for any extra icons you want to click on, or purchase a subscription, etc. Who has money to be doing that when you need money to spend on your new bundle of joy! This app is free and goes so in depth as to what is to come within these crazy 42 weeks! The way this app shows you how your body will change, how your baby will change, details so many symptoms, has so many options for you to log different parts of your pregnancy journey, it’s just amazing. I couldn’t say enough good things about the What To Expect app. It’s been a true blessing to download this and get reassurance as to all the bodily changes being 1000% normal!

Love this app!. Couldn’t be easier to track each feed. With my first baby I was using a note app in my phone and quickly got tired of having to type everything in. This is simple, efficient and keeps everything organized. I loved using the custom add option when I was having all of the appointments and different newborn screenings with my second baby. Super easy to use and I like that you can use emojis in the notes as well. Instead of typing out football hold for breast feeding, I would just use the football emoji when I was starting to breastfeed my second so that I could keep track of what I was doing and what worked best for me to feed my baby.

Overall a great app for mom and baby. I use what to expect daily and do love how helpful it’s been for tracking a ton of things - feedings, pumping sessions (better than Lansinoh) , diaper changes and even sleeping patterns. The four stars is for how the app measures your child’s age - it’s based on birth date and month, not birth week, which means it’s often of by a week or longer. If your baby is born on the first of a five week month, it won’t say they are 2 months until the 1st of the next month, even if baby turned 1 month a few days ago. It’s even worse if your baby is born in the middle of the month. And the app locks milestone “tips” and articles based on age. Why lock these tips? I don’t see what sense that makes. Other than that, again, it’s a great app, but this is a flaw that should be corrected.

Some good, some bad. The pregnancy tracking of the app is great and I love how it goes into great detail about your baby and also symptoms you might be experiencing. Some of the articles are informational as well. What I didn’t like was the fact that women are just rude when their opinion differs from your own. Many women on there (not all) are not very respectful. However, WTE does remove some disrespectful comments. But they also remove content even when it doesn’t go against their community rules. I’ve had several posts removed that I don’t believe went against their rules. They may have been controversial, but in their rules it does not say you can’t talk about controversial topics. They also never contact you to let you know that your post was removed and why. I think that would be courteous for them to do so. Many women on this app also lean politically left, even in the Christian groups. The app seems to silence women that have controversial opinions. If you are rude, disrespectful, and full of hate, then sure, it’s expected to have your post/comment removed, but women shouldn’t have their opinions removed if they are presented in a kind and respectful manner. All of this led to me deleting my account because I didn’t feel as if I could express all of my opinions as they are without being ridiculed and silenced.

Very satisfied. I am using this app a lot. Ever since I found out that I was pregnant I looked for an app that would keep me updated with everything that’s going on with baby, as well as with my own body. What to Expect helps me keep up with all the amazing transformations that are happening during pregnancy, it has great advices, answers lots of questions, has cute videos about baby and quite honestly, it helped me a lot not to freak out but stay calm and informed. My only complaint is that I couldn’t find anything in particular about twins and I couldn’t change the “keep up” front page that I see when I open the app so it would fit with what I needed. I am having twin boys so I would have liked the page ro be more personalized. However, all in all, I am satisfied with this app and I recommend it. 😊❤️

Just one tiny flaw. This app is great! The info was super fun when I was pregnant, the community page was comforting when I had my miscarriage and there are now interesting tips now that we’re trying again. My only complaint is that when I accidentally click on a video (usually at the bottom of the screen in discussion posts about making some salad I’ll never eat or history about pregnancy that I don’t really care about) it makes you watch the ad before being able to click out of the video. I TOTALLY understand having to watch the ad to get to the video. But it’s just really annoying to click on it, see that black screen pop up and know I’m trapped until the ad is over. I don’t know if it’s possible to make an option to skip the ad? Again, great app in general!

Great App, but.... Listen. The bottom line is this is a great app. If you or someone you know is pregnant, I highly recommend it. That being said, to the developers, I have some advice... when I downloaded and signed up for this app, you shared my email with your partners. That’s fine. As a marketing major, I fully understand. However, I then lost my child. Now, I understand. You can’t keep track of every single person that uses the app. But if I put in that I’ve had a miscarriage, there’s got to be a way to stop the emails from partners. They don’t seem to have gotten the memo, and it has been a bit of a little jab in the heart every time I get one. At the very least, it should maybe be formatted in a way where it isn’t even an option until you hit your second trimester. It’s just something that has made a hard experience even harder.

I like it. I haven’t downloaded other apps like this, I read the reviews and seen it had the most downloads and here we are. It’s so nice and convenient, I can’t give it 5 stars because I’m a critic and what if there’s better but I don’t know ? So 5 or 4 I found no problems other then pesky ads but what app doesn’t have those these days ( I mean like free apps of course). So yeah, if you really want your baby and the best care for your little nugget then this app is a huge help. Too many outlets and articles to help you out. And it’s just and app, you don’t need to feel embarrassed by asking anyone (if you do) and can always lean on this app for lots of help. But not all of it of course, talk to your providers if you really need assistance with anything and can’t find it on this app. I don’t write reviews but I’m pregnant and Happy with my results and this app. Happy first time momma ! Lol

Pages gets lost, no video transcripts. 1. I love this app and would also give it five stars but I just noticed that when I’m reading an article and need to switch to another app (which I do when taking notes or logging Baby movement) or even just press home or anything else, the app returns to home page and I lost my place. It’s particularly frustrating if I’m reading an article I arrived at from links within a home page article. Lucky if it’s only one link away but sometimes I could go more than three deep. It’s actually enough to put one off from reading anything in depth or browsing through the app at all. Presently I have to finish an article before doing anything else - which will not always happen - or just count the article as lost and get tired of having to search for it every time. iPhone 7plus, iOS 11.3.1 up to date. 2. I like the videos that have a summary at the end so don’t have to go through it, especially if you’ve seen it before. Some of the interviews would benefit from that so I could just scrub to the end. Sometimes I just don’t feel like watching people and it’s faster to read so I prefer to “read” some of the videos. It’s about content anyway and not production value. Update: worse than I thought - even searches get lost completely if you move out of the app. You are brought back to home and have to start again. :(

Simple, usable and (mostly) no nonsense. The app is clean and simple to use, providing expectant parents with very quick daily tips only a few sentences long. This makes for a great little boost during the day when you’re thinking about your growing baby and just want a little tidbit of information. The one caveat is that some of the articles can feel a bit alarmist. Sometimes there are suggestions for an over abundance of caution that are actually not strictly necessary. This type of thinking is certainly cultural in the US (just try Googling an American list of what pregnant women shouldn’t eat, and you’ll see!), and “What to Expect” is not nearly as bad as some other sites at promoting these types of hyper vigilant information. I would definitely recommend this app more than others.

Love the app, hate its functionality. I use this app multiple times every day however it is extremely frustrating when I’m typing out a long blog post and my Low Power battery signal pops up interrupting and I lose everything I’ve typed! Or it just shuts down randomly while I’m in the middle of typing something and when I click back into the app it’s back at the home screen. They need to develop the software to SAVE the last spot you were on, and save whatever you’ve typed as a draft if you haven’t completed it for situations like that. I love the information on there but it is by far the most frustrating app I use due to it being so unfriendly when it shuts itself down or when anything interrupts, text, call, low battery, and makes you lose what you were on. I hope to see a fix for this one day. Then it would be a 5 star review for sure!

39 and Pregnant for the first time!. Finding out you’re pregnant at 39 and a month after your marriage is exciting, stressful and mostly happiness! However, we’ve only ever hated if you’re past 35 years old your high risk. You can’t but help hear that in the back of your mind as you try to find a doctor and hospital. Also, most doctors don’t want to see you until you’re 8 weeks along - I’m only 4 weeks when I’m online trying to read and education myself before I meet with the doctor. I’m in week 6 and We (yes my husband too! Are loving this app! We are learning so much and are figuring out the questions we need to ask our doctor. Great resource and I get excited for my weekly notification telling me how big my baby is and how he/she is developing!

Good for tracking. I like this app for pregnancy as well as tracking. Every week it shows you the progress of your pregnancy (your body & your baby). I use it for tracking diapering, feedings and pumping. I really don’t like how when you go take a summary, the diaper info averages are completely wrong! It works if you’re looking at two or three days at a time, but 30 days it definitely doesn’t. My baby has at least 13 diapers/day but somehow the average is 8? Lol. The other thing is that I wish the app would save how I like inputting my breastfeeding info (instead of always starting with timer, I manually track time). Also, they changed it recently so after you input some data, save it and go back to edit it, the delete button is first/above the save button now! I’ve accidentally deleted an entry so many times.

Amazing App!!. I love the what to expect app because it’s literally a one stop shop. Pregnancy tracking, newborn/child patterns tracking, community forums, relevant articles based on each stage before, during, and after pregnancy and SOO. MUCH MORE!! Now that I have used it and continue to use it. I always suggest it to my friends. And the BEST PART IS - It’s a FREE APP that you can ACTUALLY USE. It’s not like most apps where you only have access to the basics and you have to pay a membership for all the thing you ACTUALLY WANT TO USE. I appreciate the fact that the What To Expect App doesn’t add an additional expense to my life, especially after having a child. I hope they continue to make it better and I will definitely continue to use it for my daughter and for any additional children I have in the future.

Needs notifications. I like this app. It’s fairly helpful and you get lots of information on the growth of your baby. There is also a good community of women (and probably a few men) that you can get advice or support from on the message boards. But the message boards are kind of a disaster. You don’t get notifications if someone tags you in a response or if they reply to a post you’ve made. You just have to constantly check. You can bookmark conversations but if you have to physically go back through a few dozen or so responses to other posters and look for possible responses from people, what’s the point? Some type of notification would be nice. The message board sometimes feel like you’re not speaking to people, you’re just spouting out whatever and hoping someone reads it. It’s Twitter for pregnancy.

Used to love it. I have never written a review, but was compelled to do so to voice out my frustrations. I have been using this app since I was pregnant and loved reading up on development milestones of my LO and using the feeding tracker. But, ever since the 15.9 release, the tracker has become extremely difficult and frustrating to use. When viewing the feeding history and adding a feeding, the app response time is very slow since 15.9. The app also errors out more than before and if I’m not paying attention to my nursing time, I cannot manually enter an accurate time. Initially, I liked how the all of the feeding history populates on one view but since I have used this app for all my nursing sessions, I have a lot of entries and this may be causing my app to respond so slow. I prefer the feeding tracker functionality and layout prior to 15.9. I hope they revert it or I will need to find a different tracker as this new release has been stressful for me to use.

Pregnancy App. Great pregnancy app! I love tracking with this app everything is so easy to get around with and the terms are dummed down for people if they don’t understand the big doctor terms (haha). My husband loves hearing each month what’s new with our BabyGirl. I love the references to fruits and vegetables too but you can pick your own to which you choose. Also it gives you daily tips while pregnant for heartburn etc..also I have another child and so I put her info in and I can track her toddler stuff and also my pregnancy it’s amazing. It’s free you don’t gotta pay to join or anything. I really suggest this app for anybody pregnant and wanting to track for each month. 😊

Very nice.. I downloaded it only a few days ago, and I haven’t experienced any trouble at all. Every part of the app also does seem to work for me, without having to pay extra. But that’s just me. And I also appreciate that. This is my first pregnancy, and I’m still looking at apps they may help with journey. And places to make new mommy friends around my area as well. Would definitely recommend. There is a spot for almost every topic that I know of, related to pregnancy and more. I did read in a section recently there was a little bit of hate from other moms/parents, but I never stumbled across the actual topic myself. But of course everyone parents differently, and according to their babies know what’s best for them. Of course some subjects will be touchy, and might not receive the support or answers you’re looking for, and with that. If you’re already apart of a group of new mommy’s, etc. And you feel comfy sharing privately, that’s always an option as well. Because everything posted is public, unless you set certain restrictions. Which I haven’t seen any done. Other than some disagreeing with certain parenting skills, the app seems very nice. And friendly. Honestly one of the cleanest apps I’ve used and seen, I think it’s great.

Not customizable. I like this app objectively, but it’s frustrating because it’s not customizable. I am pregnant with twins, but there’s no way to record that in their system. They have very few articles on twins, but nothing very helpful. You also cannot put in a C-section date or make your due date less than 40 weeks. My doctor said they wont let me go past 37 weeks, but there’s no way for me to record this so my due date is three weeks over when my children will actually arrive. It’s frustrating. Any pregnancy needs lots of info and help, but with twins even more so. I’m not getting any of this. It wasn’t even super wonderful when I had two singleton pregnancies. For my first, I used this app, for my second, I used a different app because this one is not great.

Super HELPFUL!!!!!!!. I am very impressed with this app, because it notifies me and reminds me often about everything I need to know during my pregnancy! I especially love to read the side articles that are provided by the app as well. During each week it lets me know about something new that I should be aware of while expecting. With this being my very first time being pregnant and I am only in my first trimester, due to this pregnancy app, I have already learned so much about my pregnancy! I am very impressed and happy that I chose this app to help remind me with everything that I need to know while expecting! I highly recommend it to everyone!!!! It’s the best informative pregnancy app!

Great app!. I have about 6 pregnancy apps and I live on this one! LITERALLY! Tbh the videos aren’t all that enticing and kind of boring actually but the app offers a lot of great advice and tips about pregnancy. The real reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the community! This is the only app where there is constant, consistent interaction with other moms and moms-to-be. Like any social network there are Debbie downers but it comes with the territory, but for the most part everyone is there for support and the love that’s shown is incredible and refreshing. How to get to 5 stars? - I would like to see a little more creativity when it comes to showing the development of baby and the week to week progression. - We need a friends list!! Or a follow button! There’s no way to really make friends and keep track of them because people are posting so much and so quickly. - We need notifications if someone mentions us in a post with an @! It’s difficult trying to remember what the name of the discussion you were in. - I’d like to keep track of where I posted or commented so if I want to follow up with someone I can. These are essential to me and would make the app a game changer!

Great for future dads and moms. Summed up best expectant mom and dad app in existence, there’s many expectant parent apps but don’t waste your time and download this. As a guy navigating through all the stages of pregnancy are very confusing however this app saved us both lots of stress, probably unnecessary calls to her obgyn and made us feel like we had the tools to make it through this challenging and scary time. It’s very well laid out the app summed up in my opinion couldn’t be better except maybe some of the chat boards with some previous mothers giving advice it was drama central. Overall recommend downloading and using this app without hesitation just don’t look at opinions on the chat boards as medical advice because we read some pretty crazy stuff that’s not filtered.

Great app! Informative and helpful. I love this app because there are so many different components like, tracking baby’s size during pregnancy, the feeding tracker (once they’re born), and the discussion boards to chat with other moms. All aspects have been more than helpful. Only one complaint however. I wish the feeding tracker that times breastfeeding sessions popped up in the notification panel and on the lock screen. If the little bar with the pause/play button and left/right side appeared here it would be MUCH more convenient than having to open the app each time. Coming from someone who sometimes forgets to start and stop the tracker it would be very helpful to have this feature as a reminder for when I forget to open the app again.

“What to expect” … for my upcoming baby Nicholas 🥰. This app was extremely helpful and useful. I was grateful to have it as a first time mom. I had no mother figure in my life and no one I knew that was close to me had a kid so I felt very alone trying to figure everything out with just my dad and my child’s father. This app provides so much information and is very accurate. As soon as I started feeling something, the app would state that this is expected at this point in pregnancy. It gives so much insight. It’s a great tool to have hand and hand when you’re pregnant. The best part is, you would think that after birth you were done with the app. NOPE. The app changes to help you figure things out about your baby and your body after birth too. Highly recommended.

WTE been with us all along the pregnancy helped us a lot!. With this pregnancy being new thing to us, everything came as a puzzle. Let alone the puzzle, we didn’t even know what to expect. That’s when I found what to expect community. It gave us the info that you get a free welcome goodies for the new pregnant moms. You guys have amazing community filled with all helping hands. Heidi Murkoff with all her weekly videos and the app kept our journey exciting with the great counters and baby size perspectives. Just love it. We don’t have much friends. What to expect gave us ton of tips all were invaluable. And everything is free. We had our beautiful little princess born last week. And WTE is still helpful for the post partum moms. Also, we just bought a book, ‘What To Expect The First Year’ by Heidi Murkoff. It’s an amazing book with a myriad of helpful info.

Excellent features. This is by far the best pregnancy app. Not only does it explain how far along you are, your baby’s development/milestones, and size, but it also has forums for moms to be. You can even connect with those in your geographic area to get tips, opinions on local preschools, and exchange gently used baby items. There is also an area to look through baby names and save your favorites. After suffering a miscarriage I also found that they provide grief/loss support groups. I am happy to use this app for my second little and use it to keep a close eye on what I should/shouldn’t eat and get tips on how to keep this little one extra healthy. It has given me a lot of comfort since my loss. Thank you to the app creators!

Overall not bad, but there’s a lot of small annoying things.. This is my first review I’ve ever written for an app. The app itself isn’t bad, but for some reason the app uses “she/her” pronouns for the baby before you even know the gender or even far enough along in your pregnancy. I keep checking the settings thinking that I accidentally chose “girl” for the gender of the baby, but I haven’t put anything yet. So it’s annoying to keep reading things like “… weapons that will one day help your baby fight infection once she's out of your safe haven..”. Also, I was told by different doctors that 12 weeks marks the end of the first trimester, but the app marks it at 14 weeks instead. There’s a lot of small things like that. They’re not entirely bad, just annoying. I really hope this review causes them to fix the little things.

Premature baby. First let me say that I love this app. It has been incredibly informative for me during my pregnancy. I am a first time mom and everything is new. So again, this app has been wonderful and helpful. I am writing this review simply to make a suggestion. My baby was born premature. I hate that this app has seemingly little to no information about preterm babies. It is disappointing because now I feel as though the app is not useful to me anymore. My baby isn’t growing at the same rate and reaching the same milestones at the same time that a full term baby would. But there are no videos or articles or info about what kind of growing and development she might be doing. Maybe it is too difficult to provide that kind of information? I’m not sure. But aside from that, this app is great.

Love!. From the moment I started using this app I was obsessed. Between getting updates every week on baby’s size and the articles of what’s relevant each week, I couldn’t get enough. Any time I felt a certain symptom during my pregnancy, I knew I could search in the app and there it was to reassure me it was just another normal symptom. I also loved all the extra information it came with so that when it came time for my doctors appointments I could ask them questions with the knowledge I had read in previous weeks and feel confident that I covered a subject. They also have groups to join so you can get advice from other mamas if you feel like you just want some extra advice or share a story. Definitely recommend for all mamas!
