MY APOLOGIES ABOUT BEING THE ALL CAPS GUY, NO ONE LIKES IT AND ONLY FATHERS GET AWAY WITH USING IT, BUT THIS APP HAS BEEN A LIFESAVER ( I here by revoke my card for speaking in caps for life, it was worth it if you save yourself the headache of trying other subway apps)

Best subway app. I use Kickmap before heading out to the subway to see if my line has delays. Info is up to date and I can use it to make quick decision to opt to a different train line that doesn't have delays at the moment. Also has a clean interface and I like that it shows the neighborhood names on the map. I live here so don't need that, but I'm sure it's helpful to someone from out of town.

Saves my bacon, daily. Some people check the weather first thing on the morning. I check KickMap! Also, automatic notifications always let me know when my most-used subway lines are a mess, allowing me to take a different route and avoid being late for work. With the current state of the MTA KickMap is a must.

Travel app for New Yorkers. When you understand the routes and just need a good offline map.. this is the best

Awesome app!. Best when you purchase the full version. Wish they had a way to save or pin favorite destinations on the map.

Best subway map with train delays. Map is easy to read, has updated info on train problems and tells you how to get from one point to another. My go to subway navigator!

Great subway app. This is a great NY subway app! Easy to use, just click on a station in the map and hold until the schedule opens. Useful alerts too. The only drawbacks are that delays are not reported in real time but none of the apps seem capable of doing that. Very minor issue is the schedule usually says “northbound” or “southbound” but that gets confusing for stations where trains are going east-west (like the E on 53rd street). I use this app everyday.

A must for NYC subway travelers. I have had this app for about 3 years. I absolutely love it. It works great and is an invaluable aid for navigating the NYC subway system, which is a great way to get around New York. Even the train times are spot-on. If you live in New York or are just an occasional visitor (like myself) you really should get this app. Thank you KICK Design!

Works great!. Great app! I have used it for years. Maps open without phone service so I am never stuck. Updates with phone service are great, night and day schedules automatically show, and there are even fun additions like a little firework logo in the ease river on the Fourth of July to show where the fireworks will be!

Super helpful!. Super helpful and easy to use. A key feature is alerts for when lines are down. Shows surrounds streets, which is great. Highly recommend!

Excellent interactive subway map. Changing the detail of information provided as you zoom works flawlessly. Wish it also had a (separate) bus map.

Just so simple. This is all you really need. Something that changes with the time of day that you can navigate with just one thumb and make sure you don’t screen yourself up if you’re headed someplace new. I’ve had this app for 10 years and re-download with every new phone. Some apps try to over complicate things and worry about directions etc. but this isn’t that and I love it. Sorry it took 10 years to write this.

Such a useful app. App was extremely useful during my stay in NYC. Helped me look like a native NY'er. The more I used the app the more I actually learned regarding the trains and direction, next stops, duration, etc. The more you use the app, the less you will need it.

Better than the subway map. Better than the subway map. Updates to real changes and I like that the neighborhoods are added on.

What they said.... I’m also an iTrans refugee, who came to KickMap when iTrans broke. This could be the PERFECT app with just two fixes: 1. more detail in the alert pop-ups, and, 2. moving the alert listing to its own page, because the current format is too small - the icons for each line are too small and prone to tapping errors, and the window is too small and font too big to allow easy reading of the service advisory information. iTrans did these things right and was five stars - when it worked. KickMap can be 5 stars if it makes these reasonable adjustments.

A must have!. If you ride public transit in NYC, this is a must have! Nothing worst than walking down to your subway and finding 1000’s of people on the platform. If you have KickMap, you can get a warning alert prior to being trapped with the rest of the miserable commuters waiting for the train. KickMap allows you to figure out alternatives.

Coach. It made my life so much easier because I normally get stuck waiting for the train. Love this app so much that I go out now just to use it (lol).

Use this every day. Best NYC subway app of the ones I’ve tried. Only request is for the next version to show each station on the neighborhood map.

Service changes. Service changes have not been updating for a while. Please help.

Been using it for years. Best subway map available. I recommend it to everybody — even people who are only visiting for a few days. KickMap is the best!

Great NYC subway app. Well worth buying the full version. Pinch and zoom was fine in the free app but the full version shows street names, local attractions, estimated train arrival at a specific stop and access to subway stations with WiFi. Very clear when you zoom

Good map. The routes and stations are clearly marked and easily accessible. Zooming in to stops works well. Useful map.

Still my favorite!. I still like this one. It used to be practically the only choice in good old days. There are many more subway maps now, but this is still my favorite.

My favorite app as an out-of-tower. Whenever I visit NYC I use KickMap for an easy-to-understand map of te system, updated with all the latest changes (even better than the official site!)

This app is great. I’ve been using it since my first iPhone actually when I was in high school to a decade later. I’ve put my friends and family onto it. Would recommend!

Attractive design!. Very appealing to look at. And I have to check daily so it’s nice to have a map that’s well designed.

Works like a charm. Could really only use some minor tweaks but all in all an excellent app! I saw a complaint about the airport directions, but if you look at the map, the AirTrain from JFK connects to Howard Beach (subway only lines) and Jamaica Station (subway and LIRR) and there are tons of signs explaining what to do. LaGuardia is more complicated because of the buses and no direct rail link to the airport, but similarly, there are tons of signs and information kiosks to help - so all you have to do is zoom in to see where the airport bus shuttle connection stations are and get to them. I think that the reason they left out the directions from the connecting Stations to the airports is that you'd need to know which terminal your airline is located in to get specific directions, and that changes quite frequently sometimes. Personally, I don't think it's enough of a reason to give the app a 1-star rating because I've been using KickMap NYC for years now and I've only seen the app get better and more reliable.

Good interface, doesn’t track MTA changes.. Map shows many lines running at night when they are in fact all shut down (May 7, 2020).

Wonderful app!. I’ve used this app for traveling to Washington DC and New York City. It has been great since I had never been to either of these cities. I always try to plan out my trips to get the most out of my vacations and this app has helped tremendously!! I highly recommend it!

it simply works. been using this app for years and it’s still one of most useful subway apps I have. it’s great that it’ll load offline (when you don’t have a good signal!) and they’ve been adding features that might it more current and helpful

Great. Easy to use and very clear.. Very clear and east to use. This map is all you really need in the city, it's simple so if you're looking for bells and whistles maybe its not for you but I've never needed anything else.

The best NYC subway map available. You don't have to remember (or guess) which trains and stops are local or which trains and stops are express.

Great Subway App. It never let us down in NYC. It gave us good connections and the subway trains that were outta service or made their last stop for the night showed up in gray.

Great for Getting Around. Great map design, very user friendly. Awesome knowing when there are delays. One issue I noticed is WTC Cortlandt only shows the 1 train when there are actually several trains that go there.

Among the nicest NYC subway apps. I’m a convert from iTransNYC which was the standard for iPhone until it stopped updating regularly as of late. This app matches that app in almost every aspect (and props for making own maps!) but I’d like to see more detailed delay and cancellation info within the push notifications. This shouldn’t be too hard, just rally the same info MTA sends out to its riders - iTransNYC does exactly that. Also I think a full page dedicated to alerts rather than a small menu right now will make navigating information even easier.

Used to be my favorite train app now it just lies to you. Kickmap was great at first. Now it just lies and you sAdsays trains came when they didn’t. Youll be standing on the platform and it will say train in one minute. Then nothing until it says the train arrived on time but your still standing on the platform

Great map, UI could be improved. Main issue: the interface is really ugly — the animations are way too slow, has lots of pixelated textures and overall windows-98-ish look, needs revamp for sure. The map itself is the star here, the only reason to purchase this babe. Idea for the devs on how to improve it: highlight and flash problematic lines (red glow or something like that) — in case it’s delayed or is under construction.

The prettiest and least cluttered subway app I think. I’ve had this app since 2011 and it is still the best for figuring out routes, checking if there are delays, and how long a journey takes when going to a new neighborhood for the first time. It’s also the prettiest and the least cluttered nyc subway map.

App is great, but…. This app is terrific but somehow ignore the easy connection from F to Q at 63rd Street when going to the Upper East Side and instead recommends change at 34th Street, which involves stairs and ramps.

The App simply doesn’t work. This app worked for about a week and now when I type in a destination it crashes/freezes. I’m not going to get my $3.99 back but I figured I’d warn anyone interested in purchasing....Don’t!

Why have arrival times stopped working?. The app used to show live arrival times of trains but now it just shows the static train schedule and it doesn’t update in real time. What the heck??

Thinking of deleting it for another app. When searching address is in New York City it does not show me proper trains to get close. It says error or something like no subways from airport it is absolutely useless. Please advise
