Good not great. I’ve played the last 4 installments of Tap Baseball on iOS. This is very similar to its predecessors in many ways, but not all. The free to play aspect which I usually utilize is drastically nerfed with this addition! I am forced to spend at least 1$ to get rid of the game crashing adds. They are after every game as well and without payment made the game almost unplayable to compete even in the slightest. I am finding myself spending money every week to even come close to the level of competition I was able to achieve in previous additions. This version seems like one of the biggest money grabs I have ever seen. The gameplay and club participation is the same as always, but the money aspect really ruins this game for me. Without spending 35-50$ a week don’t expect to be competitive at all!!

My MLB TSB 23 Review. I love this game because the in the tutorial, it’s like not possible to NOT hit a home run. In your first game it might be challenging because it’s your first game so that means the the pitcher will be throwing so sliders, curveballs, and some fastballs. I hate it when the throw a curveball because when he throws it it goes straight into the moon then comes back and the umpire calls it a strike. It’s fun when they do that because it’s a challenge for the batter.

Too fake. Make the game a little more realistic as far as players covering ground. No one can cover ground like they do in the outfield and they lag forward just to make plays sometimes. And everytime u hit a ball down the line the third basemen or first is always sitting right there like they stand right there before the pitch when we all know you don’t line up directly on the line at those positions. It just doesn’t make sense. And more balanced batting animations for contact with the ball. Too many ground balls and pop ups

My favorite baseball app. I love this baseball game. I download each year's version and purchase in app items each year. This year I have one big complaint which is why I am not rating it 5 stars. In the past, I could listen to audio while playing the game. This year’s version prevents you from doing it. As soon as it loads, whatever you were listening too goes silent and it won’t come back on until you close the game. It has resulted in me playing the game less because of that. I wish they would fix it.

Be better. We have a wrote this game it was great because this game is so popular. I wanna say it every day but I can’t no I have school I mean because I have school on Monday Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday Friday not Saturday, but not Sunday either but this is gonna take a long time to get through the week you know Do you know where live ax? I mean no you can’t I’m just axing not axing axing no I’m trying to say axing mom Because Anna plays it on Friday and that’s not good. That’s why I’m sad. Frequent “issues”. Don’t get me wrong, the game is fun. There have been new game modes implemented, often with very frequent glitches. They do NOT do regular updates, or add more levels or stages to the new modes they start. So I’ll give some credit for trying. There are lots of repeat players. People still figure how to cheat to score crazy points. You can be competitive without spending, but you have to play a TON. Customer service is incredibly frustrating. Lots of brainless, common responses to issues with no real effort to solve anything. I’m currently jailed, for no reason at all, with no help whatsoever from customer service. I actually get the feeling they’re avoiding helping solve the issue. I’ve played numerous versions, over many years. This happens EVERY year for NO reason, with no help solving anything, with no apology for it even happening. Super frustrated about that.

Terrible customer service. For the last 3 months I have been locked out of baseball 23. They have said they have been working on the problem but won’t tell what the problem is. I have been playing this game for 10 years with no problem until EA bought the game from glu. When I tried to sync the 22 account to my 23 account the 22 account froze. I notified customer service of the problem so I could get the keepers and my VIP status. When I did that my 23 account froze and both of them have like that for 3 months. I have had over 25 customer service representatives try and help me and they all want me to do the same thing. They don’t communicate with each other so I have to explain to each one what is going on. I have to send screenshots that they have already of my team and one of the reps said he couldn’t find the club I was on and I had to send a screenshot of the club name. At this point the keepers are useless but my VIP status isn’t. I spent a lot of money to get that and you would think they would be able to give me that. They won’t even address the frozen accounts. This is no way to run a business.

Sometimes it’s works fine. 80% of the time can’t play the game because of this error. stops loading at 37% and this pops up. PLEASE FIX NOW.. Ive heard the customer support isn’t the greatest, hundreds of people have been saying this since it has came out and still isn’t fixed. i want to spend my money on the game before i delete it because i can’t play…… thank yoy

Good Concept, But Not Worth the Time. I love the concept and previously played this game a few years back. This year I figured let’s try it again. It’s a fun concept and a generally good time. But wow, the amount of time you spend on load screens or ads has to be like 50% of the in-app time. And with how they switch bonus players every day it has evolved into a pay-for-relevance on club matchups most days. They do give pretty regular gifts, so you certainly can have fun and build a team for free. But man, the time everything took to load and the number of ads killed it for me. Deleted the app.

Needs New Features. There is a reason why baseball clash is now the top baseball mobile game. This is because baseball clash actually let’s you play friends and having better players actually matters. Need to implement a way to actually play people, such as a pitching system and more usable game mechanics. I used to love this game but as soon as baseball clash has came out I have not touched this game hope to see improvements!! Also this game feels like it hasn’t changed at all from the ones from previous years. This game needs new features and updates it’s feels like they just copy and pasted lasts years tap sports and just made it a “new year” Still a great game but but I think as of right now there is better alternatives.

STAY AWAY. I’ve been playing TSB since the ‘17 app. Foolishly, I’ve also been stupid enough to spend money on these games. But admittedly, they’ve been fun to play. Until last year, Glu owned and operated these apps. But EA Sports has come along and truly ruined what was once a nice product. And tonight, May 23, 2023, we all get a message on the ‘20 and ‘21 apps that after July 22, THE GAMES WILL NO LONGER BE PLAYABLE! Excuse me? We spent MONEY to play these games and now you say TOO BAD to your paying customers? Keep all of this in mind before you download this game. And if you decide to anyway, remember……they will gladly take your money and then make the game unplayable later. Unethical bunch of clowns.

Entertaining game that needs improvement. Been following this series for several years now and there doesn’t seem to be too much additions with each new release. Game has some glitches with outfielders running for the ball where it just magically appears in their glove even though the ball was much farther than their glove. Also outfielders randomly have crazy speed to get to a ball. It seems it takes forever for your batter to get to first base regardless of the players speed. Also would love some more camera angles can’t really read where the pitch is going with the angle of the batter as it is. Clear balls look like strikes from the angle but you find out too late that the ball was actually in the dirt or falls short of the plate. They have great team management option and can even improve and train players which is cool also has plenty of mini games to keep it entertaining.

Horrible “tech support”. Tech support for this game is practically non-existent. I posted a request for help on Friday, and I still have not heard a reply from them three days later. They locked my account for having the game installed on both my iPhone and iPad. If they didn’t want users to do that, why do they have it available for download for both platforms??!! This is ridiculous! And their horrible tech support makes things even worse. Don’t waste any money on in-game add-one for this game. At any point you may just get locked out for no good reason and you’ll never be able to reach anyone for support.

This used to be a fun game. At first I loved this game. But once I got to a certain level I started noticing certain glitches. Such as a lot of times the game just spins during inning changes. So I have to close the app and reopen it just for it to run. I only have sound every other game because every time an ad plays it kills the sound and you have to start the app all over again. Oh I know I could contact support but what’s the point? When they do finally get to you (usually after 5-7 days), their answer is always to blame the Wi-Fi service. Funny how my other apps don’t seem to have a problem running on Wi-Fi. Well that’s my 2 cents. Good day

Locked out an taking your sweet time. So dy one was extremely happy with this game day two I’m locked out from swapping devices I play on my iPad at home and on my iPhone when I’m out and about so I was shocked that now I’m locked out from playing on my preferred device at home it’s been almost 12 hours and no response from customer support so now I m very dreary on spending money on this app if I can’t get help now why would I expect better if I have issues with say a purchase in the future and let’s face it I’m pretty sure with my initial experience I would have spent on this game I just want the ability to switch between my two devices I guess I will update when and if I get actual customer support but for now my experience has been soured and am considering just moving on

Season mode. I LOVE the season mode! I wish it was more competitive. I got 100 overall players pretty fast. And in the beginning the season mode was actually competitive. I started out like 7-4 record. But now I’m 38-8 lol because my players are a lot better than my opposing players. I’d like to see updated players when you better your own roster. To keep the competitiveness. I beat a team 32-0. And yeah it was exciting but at the same time, destroying teams every game just isn’t fun all the time. I hope y’all read these! I’d love it if y’all could do this 😩

Not able to add ATG Players from 2022. Generally a good game, but in seasons past I could start a new season with ANY 2 batters and 1 pitcher from the previous season. Since I started playing several seasons ago, I have always had Rogers Hornsby, and recently got Jackie Robinson and pitcher Walter Johnson. As part of my game progression I thought it was proper to bring whichever “seed” players I wanted to the new season. In 2023, All-Time Great players, such as the three I listed, could not be brought over. To lose my three core players and inhibit player progress made me lose interest. Allow us to pick whomever we want for building a team roster and I might start again, but otherwise too much time is spent building a team with no ability to bring the very best players to the next season is a waste of time. A good game, now marred.

Invite Referral link won’t work still. First of all, I’ve been a loyal player since original 2014 game and typically has improved each year. Love the many ways you can play the game whether competitively or casually. Be a hero or a villain. My only complaint really is the invite referral link is still broken. I don’t want to bring my wife and sons team over until I can get rewarded for referring them. Please fix this asap. Thanks

5 stars ???. What a joke this app is !!! The development team are clueless and should not have anything to do with baseball!!! At least once an event this app has problems and mostly multiple times an event !! With that and the wrong players in the event to use it’s ok . I’ve been playing this app since 2016 and this year is by far the worst experience ever!!! The manipulation of the algorithm on each event is disgusting to this company’s greed . Parents keep this app way from your children because it will cost you a same fortune to complete. I still don’t understand how it’s 4.8 stars !!! Read all reviews and when glu/ Ea post them . I wish I could have another game like this and it is so cool and you should play it and I realized it is so fun but you don’t get to be a picture you can just bat to do your stuff so it is so fun because it’s the best game we won. Do yourself a favor, save your money and your time. This game is atrociously mismanaged. I’ve been playing since 2019 and every year gets worse. Used to be owned by GLU, now EA, but what’s consistent? The awful customer service. They seem to only care about players who pay the most. Their responses aren’t helpful and often times take days. I’m having account issues connecting my ‘22 account to my ‘23 account and can’t get any of my welcome gifts or select keepers. Tried reaching out to customer service 3 times each in both ‘22 and ‘23 over the course of 3-4 days. Not even a reply yet. Nothing. You play a game for 4 years straight and you can’t even get a reply… not just a meaningful one… a reply in general. You just end up wasting time, energy, and patience on an app where the developers and CS reps don’t care about the user experience. I’ve never been one to write reviews but it’s finally time with this game. Do better.

👌. It’s a free amazing fun cool not boring exiting intriguing good graphic run on sentence with no punctuation to write a great review type game. It was exactly the kind of game I was looking for that was everything baseball. There are many things to do and so many great aspects of the game. It’s really funny when the first baseman will glitch up to the plate on some weird hits. You can also get a good team really early so that definitely helps the review. I’ll leave exploring the contents of the game to you but I suggest downloading it now

Nonstop Ads!. The gameplay hasn’t changed on this game since I first started playing it around 2016. I get the newest version each year and generally am happy with it. I see that EA took it over now. I can’t play the game. Not for lack of trying. Play one inning on a match game an ad plays. Upgrade 1 player an ad plays. Click on an event and an ad plays. Basically any time you perform 1 function you have to endure a minute ad with the strategically placed white x on a white background that you can’t see to exit. Really am trying to play the game but it’s nearly impossible to invest any time in it with all the ads. Frustrating and not worth it.

Hitting is just luck. I’ve been playing this game since TSB 19 and it’s just plain bad and annoying at this point. I used to actually get rewarded with good swing timing and get good hits. Now it’s straight ring, I could perfectly time the ball and hit a weak ground ball right at the pitcher and I’m tired of wasting gold for +30% hitting or power and to still end with 0 points in the extra bases event or in journeys. Also you guys used to start with lower level players and work your way up throughout the year, but now you’re throwing them in right away and you can have the best team possible day 1 with just a whopping $100 a week. Straight money grubbing and selfish at this point and I’m getting very close to being done with the game, either figure it out or you’re going to go out of business with this game.

loading screen. i just downloaded this game cause i used to play it back when it was a brand new idea, but now it’s just bad. i can’t get past 36% on the loading screen so i haven’t even gotten into the game yet. this isn’t a problem in other games either i load into them perfectly fine it’s just this game, i even tried to redownload it and that still didn’t work but doesn’t surprise me cause of the maker of the game. EA you gotta do better not every person wants a pay to win game every single year, honestly i don’t really think anyone does. it’s just getting old all your games are pay to win and half way done by the time you release them. if you would just take a little extra time and finish and polish your games up maybe make them not so pay to win and just have cool cosmetics and stuff like that, people would genuinely love the games but you just can’t right now and that’s upsetting.

Trash. This game used to be really fun to play but they’ve really ruined it and now it is fully catered to the big spenders. If you don’t spend money, you definitely won’t be competing. They only give out ways to earn gold on Mondays and it’s not even close to enough to play on. It used to be down to who put the most time in, now it all rides on who spends the most money. Boxes have awful odds and insanely high loyalty boxes. It takes gold to not just play but to build your team too. They don’t give enough to play on. Find another game to play unless you enjoy spending large amounts of money on a useless game.

Baseball Casino. Quite honestly, the greediest launch for a Glu game yet. If you are looking for a F2P gacha / look elsewhere. This game is F2P in the smallest sense - you can technically do everything the game puts forward, but for every one minute of gameplay you will probably be hit with a 45 second ad with multiple prompts to exit it. In previous editions, there is a gradual build towards stronger players. This year they’ve thrown it all out and instantly put big spending whales on a pedestal, giving them the ultimate advantage to buy and level up primes and legends. Late game content level players like Willie Mays are instantly in the game. You are instantly not on a fair playing field unless you’re willing to spend upwards of $50 per week on a game that will then make the players you’ve bought obsolete within 2 days. In previous editions I’ve gone 2-3 stars because a lot of the things they’ve added are entertaining, but this is a blatant money grabbing gacha with little structure at launch, and it’s disgusting. 1 star.

Terrible gameplay. My main issue with this game is that the gameplay is utterly awful, I mean terrible batting timing, you can barely get any decent hits at best, every great you get your automatically out which completely unfair to the user player, you make it feel like the cpu player is cheating, on very rare occasions the in/out fielders don’t catch the ball, and some of the hits the ball is out of reach for the outfielders to catch but somehow they make they’re way over to catch an uncatchable ball. Not to mention the pitching from the cpu player is terrible, can’t tell the ball if the ball is going to be a strike or a ball until the last minute. You developers should know better and do a better job with game and fix these issue and make it better playable. I don’t recommend anyone downloading this game waste of my time getting this. SHAME!!!!!!!!!!

Complacency. I would like to start off by saying I have been playing this game for years. So I know how the app works and its performance over a long period of time. The bugs in the app are the same as they were 5 or 6 years ago! It is truly unbelievable how no fixes have been implemented for obvious issues. Customer support is no better. They ask for evidence of reported issues and despite the issue being obvious, the development team always comes back with an answer that is lazy, inefficient, and incompetent. I feel like the team that works on this app is lazy and content because of a loyal fanbase who honestly deserves better. The amount of money people spend on this game is insane so the product should be almost flawless. It is so far from that. Just a little bit of effort from the company could make this app one of the best sports apps ever. Just do your job and fix the problems is all I’m asking.

Challenging. I’ve been playing this game for a few months now and it’s a lot of fun. Usually you play a game a few times and then you move on it maybe you play it a few more times and then you move on. This game I found myself sticking around even after a few months of playing so that should tell you something. Its progressive so he players keep evolving and the team you play with gets better and better. Overall I’m pleased with the idea of playing baseball like this and look forward to continuing to play. This game is annoying.. This game is amazing but I hate that you have to spend 4 gold bars in the global chat just to talk with them. If it wasn’t like that, I would’ve rated this game 5 stars. Please make it that you get to chat with them for free. It’s really annoying. Btw it’s annoying when the fathers have speed like sonic and catch the ball. It’s really annoying. Even the people trying to get them out touch the base and not the player. It’s annoying. Can you guys fix this. I have decided to give this 2 stars. I like but these bugs need to be fixed. Love it but a few issues. I love this game in all but their are some things that make my love go down for it. First of all in the tutorial it thought me how to pitch but yet after the tutorial ended and I started playing games I noticed it never let me pitch in games. Secondly what is going on with these catchers! I hit the ball super far and these catchers come out of nowhere and catch the ball and this happens over and over again and it starts getting really annoying Lastly my runners are slow like when I hit it far and they get the ball and throw it too second my runners are literally half way through their run and the annoying thing about that is I’ve upgraded my players like 20 times. But over all I think this is a fun game especially since it has no ads.I really hope you fix these bugs

Unrealistic. This game is horrible. First we start with an above batter view which doesn’t allow us to see the height of the pitches. Then we have these crazy curveballs and sliders that are impossible to tell whether it is a strike or not. I was winning a game by 7 in the fourth and I decided to simulate the game. They caught up while I didn’t score once and I couldn’t come back from such a bad place in the game. The overalls of players are messed up too. I would be hitting with players with upwards of 100 overall with perfect timing and the ball is a grounder to the pitcher. The worst part is that the players instantly spawn where the you hit the ball. I hit a beautiful pop-up into deep left field right after the game said that the outfield came in so naturally it would be over their heads right? Well your wrong. The LF was standing right under the ball at the fence to catch the ball. Fix your game.

Incompetent. High hopes were had when EA took over this game. Unfortunately, it’s been nothing short of a money grabbing disaster. More network errors and downtime so far this year than all other years I’ve played. I get EA is here to make money, but at least put out a quality product. Don’t make a “free game” a “pay to win game” the way you have. From increasing box guarantees to reducing what you get when you actually buy something, it’s apparent they only cater to those that spend larger amounts. I’ve spent, I’m a VIP, but this is a slap in the face. You can’t perform well enough to compete without dropping cash on a daily basis. Y’all make Glu look like they had their s#|t together.

Great game. There is no ads except for when it asks you if you want to get something free so in general there is really 0 ads and it is fun because you get to pick your favorite team and you can do different challenges with them and build your team overall I think that this is one of my best games although it can be hard to do some things in the game.

Fun game but not the most realistic. I live playing this game is so a lot of fun and is fun building your team and making it better. The only problem I have with the game is that it’s not realistic while playing in game. You get the same animations all the time. Overall it is a very fun game and I really enjoy playing it and a recommend it but it just has had the same animations and same features for the last three years I have played.

Worse one so far. Been playing this game since the 19 version last years (22) was actually decent my favorite honestly you could hit and play and have fun this year is awful reason being the game is called tap for a reason there isn’t much skill you just tap in season mode everything you hit is an out outfield and infield both any other mode besides season is fine and almost everything you hit is a hit witch I understand the game has to have some kind of challenge if not it would get boring fast not everybody’s going to bat 1,000 I get it but when I’m season mode when most people are gonna have they’re fun make it the worse thing in the world good going I’m proud of y’all for ruining it and every game of tap baseball there’s a glitch that a foul ball nobody touches it they stare at it and you could set there for forever then you click off of the game and as soon as that happens you gotta restart the whole app just gonna be honest this game isn’t worth the aggravation

They are ruining this game. Non-stop pop up ads this weekend even though I made a purchase which is supposed to stop that. Game crashes way too much and usually at the worst time, same with it getting glitchy. Hard to bat when there is a 2 second delay. They will offer a prize or replay if you “watch A video”. Well that video won’t register a good deal of the time and you will be forced to watch 2 or 3. This was annoying, but tolerable with the 5-10 second ads but now they are pushing out 45 second plus ads on us. Just becoming a terrible game experience. I probably won’t last much longer if this is the new norm.

Lock outs. Whoever gets locked out, customer support just ignores. You can’t ever switch device and/or use more than one device. EVERY review of someone being locked out on here, is for a device switch and customer support says the exact message. That they received your “ticket” and a representative will reach them as soon as they possibly can. However, NO ONE ever gets reached again. There is players waiting months and STILL locked out of their accounts. This is not how EA Sports operates, but please believe that whoever is affected by these lies and run arounds- justice will soon be served. Glu Mobile Support will soon be terminated. Create a player, really??. Since Tap21 the creators have made creating a player crap. Not everyone in this world is average build. Some are muscular, some are fat, some are skinny, some are big, some are small. And the skin tones come on. What about the Latino community not everyone is the same six color choices. You want this game to be better too. If I earned or purchased my gold and cash from the pervious year it should transfer to the next. EA is notorious for doing this. They do it all on their games. Now MLB will be included on mobile. But, there worst transfer game is FIFA. I digress. But, create a player needs to be simply recoded for more options which would take an hour or less. Why can’t you all just fix these minor issues. And it is still way buggy. And let us transfer what we earn or purchase.

No longer fun. Let me first say I understand this is just a game, an iPhone game, but it has to get fixed. Playing a season with the best MLB team and ranking up players as far as they can go and all I do is ground out and pop up. 75% grounders, 20% pop ups, and maybe 5% hits (some of which come on errors. There’s been glitches when I hit the ball to the outfield and out of no where the catcher has it and throws me out. Why would anyone want to play a game that’s this hard to be successful with. I grew up playing baseball and the mechanics and some aspects are good but it’s ridiculous that someone ranked over 90 can’t get a hit. You think Acuna is going to go 5 straight games without a hit? Just hope something changes because I do like the game, it’s just no fun right now.

Okay. This game used to be so much better. The app is too cluttered with things, navigation is not good at all (it will take you a month to find stats if you don’t know where they are already), you can’t pitch, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to player ratings and no correlation between the ratings and how well the player plays. Ads have become far too pervasive. I just deleted the app and will not be downloading it again. The developer is trying too hard to be everything to everyone, and in the process has destroyed what used to be a great app.

Simply not satisfying. I picked this game up as soon as I saw it in the App Store and was really excited to try it. I’ve played quite a few other baseball games in the past, mostly the baseball superstars series on IOS, so I have quite a bit of experience to compare this game to. My main problem is that it doesn’t feel that proper timing or having better players makes any noticeable difference in outcome. For example, when I started investing into certain players I didn’t see any improvement in the batting average or distance on hits. I think it is pretty random, when you make contact, whether it is a hit, hr, or out. Beyond this problem, I think the game menu, CPUs, and graphics all need work. It’s not fun at all when you think you have Wander Franco on your team but he looks like any other player and has facial hair he has never had in real life. This game feels rushed and unpolished so I guess it’s just another money grab app from EA. Not really surprising when you compare it to their other mobile games, but I’m still disappointed. Hopefully they can fix this game soon as I think a real MLB game for IOS would be great.

I Love Baseball…. …and this game is the bomb. This will be my 5th yr playing. I love building my team and the competition of playing other people in head to head or just picking up the bonus games! Lots of free stuff as well as in game purchase’s . So much to do in the game you’ll never get bored!! And the more you play and learn the BETTER it gets!!!! Soooooo many long ads. I gave this game a 3 star review because although the game has great graphics and is so addicting to play the ads kill it for me. Minutes taken away from my life at a time I just wanna play. When you win your reward is ads. When you are in the thick of it your reward is an ad. And they are not short or in anyway easy to get out of either. I know you can’t make everybody happy but I bet there is thousands of people who would be happy to see the ads less and more of the game. I would purchase the game if it meant no more ads. As much as I’ve mentioned the word ad is as often as you see them. How annoying is that!? I’m probably going to delete the game because I’m so annoyed.

No change just tapping. Had Tap Sports Baseball 20 and this is the exact same game (as far as gameplay). You would think there would be updates but there isn’t. The only updates are a couple game features and roster changes. Outside of that, it’s just tapping at a strike and hoping for the best. The contact you get is completely random and the better hitter you have, the probability of a hit goes up. Would recommend features be added to the graphics and making the game true to the sport.. could be asking too much of a phone game though.

Review. Game is great but has gone way down hill this year! Long time player VIP status but this year is killing it for me! Autotappers playing 100s of thousands of games obviously cheating but nothing is done to stop it by EA! Takes any fun in the game when you watch someone cheating take any chance of competing out early on! I tell myself everyday I’m quitting but I enjoy the game just takes the fun of competing out of the game when you can’t keep up with autotappers! Hope they fix the cheating in the game or someone files a class action against EA and I can recover the money I’ve spent through the several years I’ve been playing can get myself a boat or motorcycle in return lol

Smoke in mirrors.. Overall this version of the game has some improvements over years past. However it still has lagging issues and while they tout the journeys as a new awesome thing. It’s pretty much dead already. You can’t autoplay threw it either once u beat it. The new company ea is even more greedy than glu was. Pxp and lxp must be purchased. Unless you save for a long time and or buy all the field passes. Too many bonus players every day and too many repeat players while ignoring others. This game has always had potential. But laziness with programming and creativity make for a lackluster experience.

It’s good. People are saying this is a one star and I don’t understand why. I get that it is easy to get good players, but I think EA did a great job with it. They made it more exciting in ways including adding unique bat flips/ celebrations when you hit a home run. For the most part it is the same tap baseball game that has been around for years, but a couple new additions elevate this game and make it a lot better than the old versions.

Real review. Many things need worked on such as how fast the outfielders run or where there at it just feels like they know where the balls gonna go before you hit and it dosnt feel like the pwr levels or upgrades do anything it feels the exact same you might get an easier hr off a 130 rather then a 70 or lower but it’s still all the same, and when I hit it in the outfield and know I can go 3rd I should be able to but work on how fast they throw the ball first bc then theres not even a chance to make it to 3rd that’s how fast they throw the ball and last things it’s honestly so annoying when the pitcher throws the ball way over your head or throws it directly at the ground 3 times back to back still a fun game but a lot of things need worked on if you want it to be perfect and fun I don’t care graphics or how characters look just care if it’s a fun game best part is no ads that’s not a good thing (keep no ads I love it).

Great game. Best baseball mobile game available.

Money grab scam. Avoid.. This is EA and it’s worst. Some examples? You are playing a 10 level tiered event. You get to say level 7 in tier 2. You fail, even with stacked hitters going against a pitcher that is a 2 star bronze pitcher against your stacked gold hitters. He’s a cy young pitcher now boy. Your hitters look like little leaguers trying to figure out how the tee ball works. Ground balls infield pop ups. Retry for 225 gold? Sure. Fail. Retry for 250 gold? Sure. Fail. Retry for 225 gold? Out of gold you must by more. Well 1800 gold cost 28$. You might have to fail one more time then pay to retry one more time but this time your hitters remember “wait a minute. I’m a big league” and you will hit 6 dingers in a row. Rather the game will deem you have spent enough to pass that one challenge. To level up is easy for the first couple. But by the time you get to gold level you need to invest the kind of time reserved for grind console sessions. The makers seem to think people use their phones all day while at work. You want to progress? Well you better play at least 5-8 hours a day and buy the gold or loot box bundles. Which of course are a scam. For instance: Will Smith bundle for 19.99$ usd. You get 29 packs. Well I bought it thinking I got the card. Nope. I paid for the chance to get him. 29 packs later nothing. Why do you want him? Because there are progression points and accolades for using that card. But “you will spend more or no progress for you”. Any of the games that are challenges or journeys will push you along until you are close to achieving the end prize. But your hitters will again get amnesia and hit balls with the power and contact of a new born baby tying to run down to first to beat out a throw. You will be forced to retry retry retry retry ret…oops you are out of tickets but you can buy more. Or you are out of gold but the devs were good enough to add a real time link to take you right to the exact place to spend more money on gold. So good of them. Games like this are developed by currency predators who every line of code they wrote is so you will spend more and more so you can get that one loot box for a 1 in 100 chance you might get what you want. It should be illegal and games like this should be restricted to 18+ because it’s gambling of the worst kind. Avoid at all costs. Instead get a bunch of money out of your bank. Then one by one flush each coin first down the toilet. The one by one each bill, toss it in, flush repeat. At least in that game your toilet might back up and with the flood your money will be pushed back and you will feel like a winner. MLB should be ashamed they let their game be represented like this.

Gets out every pitch. Good game but when I hit it far it is a out from being caught in Midair and if I don’t hit it far I get out at first base

Getting Worse Every Year. Player overalls/ ratings aren’t close to accurate (Vladdy, Kirk, Jazz, Manoah) not biased. Half the pitches aren’t even real. Ball speeds are horrible, I.e. when you try to steal the ball is already at 2nd before the catcher gets it. When you hit the ball it looks like they just hit a beachball. Outfielders still catch the ball without looking. I don’t get keepers and I can’t verify my account for some reason.

WON’T REOPEN! What the hell!. I had to pause it to (answer my phone…DUH, kinda what it’s supposed to be ORIGINALLY used for), but now, I get all the sounds but the ‘reload’ spins at “0”…can’t seem to get it to reboot… So, if I close it and redownload it I will lose whatever I’ve already invested…hey, I know it’s just a game but it’s ’very buggy’. I think previous years were a bit better to play even though some of the graphics are a bit better. When you hit a sac-fly into deep center, the guy on 3rd starts off like he’s got turds in his pants, ya kinda wonder when someone is going to tell him it’s time to ‘run to home as fast as you can…?!?

Not really that fun. The game used to be pretty fun, but now it’s just too hard to get a hit. Every at bat when you get a good pitch, you hit a weak ground ball, or a pop fly. Also, when you hit a fly ball to the fence the outfielders will just jog over then like teleport to the ball, you get robbed of a good hit. The game was better in the other versions you actually have to work to get a hit and when you do the next batter just ground into a double play. This game used to be fun but now is just unrealistic.

Complete Money Grab. Game is full of glitches company has done nothing to fix but has done everything in there power to make you spend but fixes nothing that benefits there players and will immediately fix anything that does benefit us players harder to get then almost impossible to level now they give you free players that need other players that cost money to make relevant just another way they try and squeeze every dollar they can don’t fall in there trap and would def not give these clowns another dollar

EA…. In previous years the biggest complaint has been the odds on getting the top players in each promotion. This year, the game is full of glitches during game play. Frozen screens on pitches, time delays on trying to switch screens within the game. And currently, I can’t get into the game. My screen say “try again… we will be right back.” It has been 3 hours. Ironically, it’s the same issues I have with Madden Mobile… guess who owns both?

Just Not Fun. It’s hard to enjoy this unless you spend a lot of money. Even then, hits are random and seem to be heavily stacked against you in certain events. No matter the developer response, there is a huge difference in playing against pitchers in an event situation and in pvp. There’s no reason a 117 hit player should be .100 against a 55 pitcher in events then .400 everywhere else. It’s ludicrous. Pass on this. I enjoyed collecting players, but what good are they if they aren’t fun to play with. It’s shocking how high the ratings for this game is when almost every single written review is 1 star. Something isn’t right.

This cannot be the version of the game that EA Sports released with their name attached to it. When I saw EA Sports was now attached to the game, I got excited that maybe we’d see improved gameplay from last year, but what I’ve experienced know is broken game physics. If you hit the ball in the dirt, it bounces off of the grass cutouts like they are bouncy ramps, sometimes creating unplayable situations that require me restarting the game. I’ve been playing for a number of years, but if you can’t even get basic gameplay correct, why should I keep playing?

Game is impossible. The players are impossible to get and they change too often to even use. Game is ok to play but the set up is a bummer to change the pertinent players changing so frequently. Makes the scoring system not even make any sense. It’s way too complicated to try to figure out how to build a team to score points with vs trying to play with the same players all season. I would recommend other baseball games for this reason. Your players aren’t useless in a day.

Scam Game. This game is absolute trash. If you spend any money on it, you’re an idiot. Seriously who spends $100 on boxes to hopefully get a player who will be useless in 2 days. (This is a 100% true example of how the game works) There are constant glitches which they try to compensate for with worthless boxes. I’ve lost rewards and been unable to redeem others. If you try to send an issue to their customer service, you may get a response days later but they won’t actually address the problem and just close it.

Ads in the background cannot be closed. I paid to experience an ad free experience but continue to be bombarded by background ads. I’ll be playing a game and suddenly hear music from an ad I cannot see, and cannot close. The only way to stop the music from the invisible ad is to close the app completely, and then it happens again shortly after. The game also constantly crashes. When I opt in to watch ads for bonuses, the game crashes 50% of the time. Disappointed I spent any money on this at all

Expect to be let down. Expect to be let down by a completely unrealistic game. Opposing players somehow catch balls 10 feet away, pitchers field hard hit balls while magically being moved by the computer. Team strength means nothing if you autoplay against the computer. Unless you’re willing to blow money, it takes a long time to boost your team strength. Tap Baseballs from previous years were much better. Like I said, expect to be let down.

Worst game on the app store.. This is a heaping pile of garbage. Let me tell you why. 1. The pitches are so hard to read, and it’s almost impossible to successfully swing and hit. This is because the timing window is so small, which is a negative factor for trying to play the game imo. 2. When you DO hit a pitch, it’s either a really high and short one or a far one that makes it so when it looks like you’re about to hit a home run, some rando will just pop out of nowhere and grab it. 3. This one is not AS bad, but every 1-2 inning it says “your pitcher is struggling” or something like that. And their energy decreases from like 75 to 32. In conclusion, this game is so freaking bad that you’d be able to buy it from Goodwill for half a cent. If I could rate this a zero star, I would. If you change the game, it’ll still be bad. Not gonna sugarcoat it.

Worse tech support ever. I have been playing this game for serval years now. I also been playing it on my phone and I tablet with no issues. Now this year I can’t do that and they blocked me from my account calling it game sharing. Then I put a ticket into support desk well that took over a week to get a response, then I get a response it took another 3-4 days and just generic saying. Then a few more days go by and then they say sorry we can no longer hep with this request. Like are you serious!!! You lost a player who spent money on this game. What a shame on you!!!

Good app, worse version yet. I’ve been a tapper since the initial game. It’s made huge strides in gameplay and overall fun. This is the worst one yet. They eliminated team bonuses for the daily events so if you don’t have a bonus player, you aren’t putting up any real points. I feel like the odds are worse in the boxes too. Also, the player ratings are wacky and feel lazy. Trevor Story maybe injured but in what world is he a 1 star player? There’s several examples of this. Overall, it’s a fine, fun game but compared to the past iterations… it’s lacking.

Can’t connect the 23 version to the 22 version. Have not been able to link with my account from TSB 22 since TSB 23 came out and I am connected to Facebook which is supposed to be easier. Support is very slow to get back to me. They did tell me to back up my 22 account to my email but no instructions on how to do that

Clubs?. In previous years, there has been a section labeled clubs where you can just go straight to your club and view it easily. This year, I don’t have that, just shop, team, games, compete. The only way I can get to my clubs is by going through “donate loyalty” in the games section. Don’t know if this is just a me problem or not but it’s still annoying. Other than that, great game! 5 stars if this is fixed.

P2P ad filled garbage. This game entices you since it’s baseball but the game is loaded with a terrible ad experience and is so clearly P2P. Outcomes have no basis in skill with the mechanics but if you paid for bundles with the best players. You get matched against stacked P2P teams and it plateaus after a few days where unless you pay real money you don’t grow your team at all. So much potential but ruined with garbage like this. When will deva learn to incentivize users to watch ads instead of bombarding them randomly when just switching tabs on the Main screen. Save yourself the time and energy and bypass this game

Decent game. Fun game if you’re not pressure to spend obscene amounts of money like $50 USD for a single player. It would also help if it stopped crashing like it does since EA took over the game from Glu Mobile. UPDATE: the R&D team at Electronic Arts is so DISINGENUOUS for VIPs they put three boxes for a bonus factor, they are 100% fixed. Oh and try to get a player of the month with earned gold…the stated odds are tossed out the window, but if you purchase them with $$$ then the odds are pretty good even if they are stated the same. IT’S A SCAM!! I only stay because of the friends I made on-line, good crew! CRAPPY SCAMMY GAME! ELECTRONIC ARTS RUINED IT FOR 2023!!!!!

Same Old Money Grab. I mean if you actually think this is a great sports game I’ll STRONGLY agree to disagree but if you think EA’s first crack at putting their stamp on the game is significant I won’t even listen to you. It’s still boring, it still feeds on internet users addiction to ratings, and it is still as unremarkable as the long line of retreaded Madden games that have been cookie cutted out over the years. I can’t believe people sink so much money into a game just to have their names NOT AT THE BOTTOM of a leaderboard. RUN, do not walk away from the CASH GRAB. Nothing has changed-EA sold out years ago.

This game use to be fun. I have been playing this game for a few years now and my enjoyment level has severely decreased this year. In the past I could at least play my music while playing the game and this year they took that away. When you open the app it cancels all other music playing in the background. I suspect that I am not the only person this upset as I have seen the number of users playing this game significantly decrease this year. The game is simply not worth your time or money.

Many more issues than previous years. I have had multiple instances where I have had to reboot because of a bug and when reloading it automatically gives outs for the rest of the inning. Also the rewarded ads have not given the reward on multiple occasions and there are other small issues too. Now I’ve been trying to log in but it hasn’t let me in for hours. They really need to work on the app to make it work and also better playable.

23 so far seem good. There are some very noticeable differences already and I’ve just started. I think I like most changes but not sure about the leveling all players with the same Xp and the boxes are very different. Haven’t done enough for a complete assumption yet but so far it seems Great. Maybe a little smoother than 22 also. 5 stars for sure

Great game but one thing that should change. This game series is great. I always download the games each year and always build a stacked team, but one thing I think should change. In the My Legend part of the team area, my last name has 9 letters in it, but you can only type 8. I want to make my own player but I can’t from this.

Terrible customer support. I have contacted customer support several times regarding the issue of not being able to log in. I have played Tap Sports Baseball since 2021 and never had this issue and now I basically have lost everything I gained over the last couple of years. It would be nice if customer support at least responded to this problem. Based on how many other people have also wrote about this it seems it is definitely a known issue. There is absolutely no excuse for ignoring someone when they reach out with a problem.

Rating. Please make the outfielders more realistic, they can’t run down every single ball that is hit to them especially when all of a sudden they speed up to the ball and catch it, make them dies, make them miss some balls. It’s impossible half the time to hit a ball in the outfield and get a hit.

Good but hard. It is hard to get new players and it is hard to level up your players MLB the show 2022 Was Way better because you could’ve upgrade your players without having to buy stuff or using your coins for buying the stuff. It’s a good game but it’s rude if you don’t like baseball don’t download this game.

Ads are atrocious. The latest update introduced ads after each game. That’s fine and expected. What’s atrocious and painful is that the ads can be longer than your game. Not kidding. A bonus game takes one minute if your are playing fast. The ad that follows is over 1min. The only way around it is to immediately quit the game and open it back up. This is the better option of course.

Absolutely horrible and lazy. Graphics and physics look like they were made in 5 minutes in 2004 and never touched again. There’s three character models so no one actually looks like the real player. When you’re batting, you can’t read the pitch well. Sometimes it curves off screen and it’s a strike, sometimes it’s down the middle but drops to the dirt. The camera angle is way too high and you can’t tell. The computer defense is way too good. It’ll show them 10 steps away and then they just slide all the way and make the catch. Such a poorly made game with mlb and ea slapped on.

A game that I would like to have more detail.. This is a fun, quick, small game with high detail and quality. It’s a game that has you creating your own player, making your own teams, claiming cards, upgrading cards, and hitting baseballs. It’s a fun game but it’s graphical quality is quite low. It would be lovely to see this game have a major graphic update. A recommend.

Very good but more bugs this year. The game is still a lot of fun but I’ve noticed more bugs this year. Like the game has trouble with ground balls. like i hit them into the gap and they still get out even when no one is there. And it also freezes between innings sometimes and just shows the players but no buttons.

Good but. I love the game but the thing is if you hit a pop up and it is not a home run your out because they catch it. This can not happen but most likely it does. But it is very unrealistic because if you hit a pop up they run from 3rd to the end in 5 seconds. Also sometimes you can’t tell from the angle when your batting wether it is a ground ball or a strike. Other then all of this the game is good.

No help from admin. I have a VIP account that didn’t link. 23 says 22 account is connected but no vip no keepers adds etc. I’ve messaged GLU multiple times in 22 and 23 help center. Been a week with no response. I refuse to spend money on this game until it’s fixed. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I have even messaged here and still no help. I’m beyond frustrated at this point. Update: Glu from mlb 22 has been looking into the problem. Its been a while. Looks like I’m going to miss a second round of vip rewards on the first Friday in April. Ugh. Why is it taking so long?

Very fun!. I played this game back in 2022 I love everything about this game, I love how u don’t have to spend money to get good players. I play this game on my phone at least 2-3 times a day, very addicting. Only thing I don’t enjoy is the ads that come up every now and then I hope that gets fixed or removed. Other then that very addicting and fun game.

Fun…BUT. Love this game BUT there are some REALLY REALLY REALLY annoying aspects. The app will reset if you do even the smallest actions like, increase the brightness on your phone. So, if you spent any of your assets like gold or tickets to boost your team or play challenges, you end up having to start Al over again and spend it all again. Same thing happens if you’re in the middle of a game and your phone’s screen times out. Get ready to lose everything and ga e to start over. SOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!! Fix this issue and I’ll give 5 stars.

The greatest game I ever played. Theres not many good baseball games but this one has real rosters all of the teams it’s like one of those where you can build you team and make it better you can upgrade your team and go into games overall it’s The best game ever ever played

Poorest CS yet. Since Sunday afternoon my game has locked me out I have attempted to contact customer service as this has happened to me in error! I do not have a new device been using same phone since 22 and started 23 with current phone! I have gotten nothing but a run around of responses and asked to send screenshots of my team that I can’t access now because they locked it out!! By far the worst year playing this game and I’ve been playing for over five years!! EA has destroyed this game!! At least GLU used to compensate you well in game for these types of errors in game!!

And why does some characters look like each other. Like Freddie freeman looks like j.d. martinez. So just to maybe like fix that so yeah i was just recommending these things

Fun but glitchy. I have enjoyed the game for a few years. It does, like a lot of games, encourage you to spend money. There is a video option to continue rounds as well as a gold option. Most of the time, you watch the 45 second video and then the round doesn’t continue, leaving you with the gold option only. It’s a bit frustrating. Other than that, it’s pretty fun

SHAAAAME. SHAAAAME. SHAAAAME.. Shame on EA. They should be absolutely embarrassed about how poorly their support team (who I’m convinced are just bots who send the same 3 messages over and over again) handles customer issues. I would have better luck trying to walk to London from New York City than to get an actual response from support. The only time they seem to respond is to send a canned message at 4:00 AM every three days. I’ve been trying for 12 days to sort out a simple issue. Apparently EA is more concerned about selling their daily $99 bundle than fixing actual issues as if they need more of our money. SHAAAAAAME. SHAAAAME.

Fun, but confusing and too many ads. When you play the game, it’s simple and fun. But there is so much going on in the app. Games to match against strangers, random challenges, clubs, awards, the list goes on. I get lost in the app and don’t know what I should be focusing on. Also seems like with a recent update, ads are playing after nearly every action I take in the app. I can’t put up with 30s ads every time I play an inning or exit a game.

Glitchy. Love the game, last years version felt smooth and realistic. This years feels glitchy and not completely polished. You will have a mid field hit and outfielders will run at the speed of light last second to catch the ball, the audio which is huge for me personally will cut out and throw off the pitch to hit timing which drives you nuts. Overall its a fun game but the realism factor needs to be refined like previous years games.

Got pretty discouraged. The game was fine at the start but it’s super unrealistic especially the curveballs. When ever you hit the ball it’s either a weak grounder or a fly out, Not to mention that the characters glitch a lot. Only sometimes you get a homer or a decent hit and I hate how you can’t pitch in the games, only in one of the challenges you pitch and only sometimes the game is fun. They need to fix this game

Like home run derby champ Pete Alonso ⚾️ lets go metss 🧢🧢🧢 irl he has like a orangeish beard and hair but in game he has like black beard and it’s not very relistic😢 BUT I LOVE ITTTT ⚾️⚾️

Don’t fall for the con.. I’ve played this since around 2017. Quit once or twice because it cheats so bad but, my biggest gripe is IT HASN’T PROGRESSED WHATSOEVER!!! It’s exactly the same game it was 5 years ago. Maybe that’s endearing to some but, for me, it’s even more of a rip off. EA has put zero dollars into it after acquiring it but, yet want to nickel and dime you for everything. If you want to mindlessly swing away and grounders that never leave the infield or, pop flies that can be caught with superhuman speed, this is the game for you. Or, you can pay money or watch ads for “boosts” that are little more than an illegal lottery.

It’s pretty fun. It’s an extremely fun game with a lot .of good entertainment, but the only thing I had to say they should fix is how easy that outfield catches the ball. But honestly I’m not. Everything is extremely fun because there are no adds It is extremely satisfying to hit the ball and it’s honestly just a game I’d recommend you to how addicting and fun it is

Issues. There are a lot of issues on this game. My phone only over heats when I’m playing this game, there are a lot of freezes and reboots. Not to mention the ads. Why so many ads? I don’t get it. Would be a good game if these issues were fixed. I’ve been playing this game for three years and this version (while there are new features) needs to be fixed asap

Going downhill. I’ve played tap sports for the last 7 years steady. Since EA took over the game it has been nothing but problems, this year alone I’ve been locked out of my account twice for reasons that I do not understand. After reaching out to customer service they’ve provided little to no help with unlocking my account, when you know for sure they have inside power to unlock an account, I have hardly anything good to say about this years game until they fix all the problems they’ve caused with this game.

Still Not Realistic - Same Animations. It’s literally the same. You hit the ball, and it goes directly to the outfielder who just so happens to be standing in the exact spot it goes to. Or the infielder who is standing there directly with their hands above their head, looking all goofy, to catch a 110 mile and hour ball that it going WAYYYY past and higher than them in real life. Apparently the defensive team also has super speed as well because they can run the whole field in a matter of seconds, but it takes an offensive player an hour and a half to run to first base.

Mostly not fun. You don’t really have control over the hitting other than timing and it’s I guess hitting isn’t supposed to be easy but you really can’t tell if the pitch is a going to be a strike or not. BUT, the bigger reason I’m giving it 2 stars is the pitching. It’s newly impossible even when you have stud pitchers to place the ball in the squares within the strike zone. Better than half the time the pitch ends up out of the zone. Even if I practiced at it, not worth the effort.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS INEPT part 2. So I’m reading through the reviews of other dissatisfied customers and the same response is given for every one…. A basic generic response… either did you make a ticket and thank you for your patience or thank you for your feedback we will share it with our team…. How out of touch customer service is with the people who play their game!!!!!!! Edited* got a vague response back from the developer… Not surprising what a joke. Thanks for your great customer service said no one ever.

Ads on ads on ads. How does this game have such high rating? Folks are probably rating it during the first week or two because after that initial time, you get hit with ads and lots of them. I feel like I can’t press a button anymore without triggering ads. I even got hit with an ad just for switching pages on the main screen. On top of that, the game feels rigged. No matter how good your team is and how good your timing is, if it wants you to lose, you will lose. Kinda makes me not want to play.

Fun, but there are issues.. This game is really fun, but there are issues that make it annoying at times. One issue I have is a glitch where I hit into the outfield, then suddenly the catcher has the ball and throws me out at first. Another issue is the loading time in between games. This doesn’t bother me as much as the constant crashing during the loading. I try to play a tournament game, it will load, but then it will crash when I am playing or it is still loading. This could just be because I am playing on an iPod touch 7, but I don’t really know. My last issue is that my runner might have a speed of 105, but it will still take 8 seconds to get to first. Overall, this is a fun game, but fixing some bugs would make it really fun.
