This is nice!. I like clip-based but not overly complicated sequencers. I like the roadmap / feature request site. The devs accessibility and response are among the best of any iOS music dev. As far as I’m concerned, this one’s a winner! Keep an eye on the Version History - there’s more to come!

Simply the Best. Sometimes it’s the simplicity of an interface and the practicality of what you leave out of an app that makes it far easier and more enjoyable to create on. After purchasing and using so many sequencer and DAW apps, I’ve finally found one that lets me make music effortlessly. And don’t be fooled by its simplicity. Underneath the hood is a workstation that does so much when you need it to. And the roadmap and openness from the developer to suggestions mean it’s only going to get better.

Waiting on those updates. Other than that, tis good

It’s just ok. Not very deep at all, too many standard sequencer features missing to make it useful for me. I feel like I paid for a half-finished app.

Very nice start, needs a little polish.. Feature requests that would make this 5 stars: * allow selection of multiple notes in the sequencer. * consider a separate lane for midi control of fx plugins. * a proper mixer view I also experienced a couple crashes. iPad Pro, iOS 15.2 (might need to update iOS).

Brilliant composition app. Just keeps getting better and better. Just get it.

Was waiting for something like this. I love this, I am not to smart when it comes to midi use but was able to get things going with ease and my creative flow became nourished. I like this app a lot and look forward to watching it grow. Very fun to use as well.

A solid experimental Clip launch. Phenomenal. Can’t wait to see how this develops from here. Does exactly what I need it to with promise of much more in the future. If you’ve struggled with midi recorder or drambo or don’t like Note’s lack of interfacing with AUV3, work this into the setup. You’ll be presently surprised. Great work Matteo!

Please consider making this iOS 13+ (or lower..?). This would be a great tool on my iPhone, but I would really love to see it be more accessible towards us consumers who do not like updating their phones. Hopefully the OS requirement can be lowered in the future! 🙏🏼

Waiting for the updates, but I love it. As we have heard the developer is going to be adding needed features, but it’s a great start. Has potential to be best iOS sequencer ever. Love it. Please add deep piano roll note editing, song mode, ect. Stem support. The missing features are obvious but developer promises these updates. This has the most potential of almost any iOS pro music app Great app. Get it now before he rightfully raises the price. Of course hopefully we get grandfathered in. No subscriptions!!! Love the app. Even with the needed updates it’s a 5 star app.

Dope and Simple.... i love this app, but i wish it had a return to zero button so you can know where you are in the loop before you start recording.

Great so far, but no BT headphone support?. The sequencer does exactly what I’ve always wanted AUM to do and this app finally does it. The interface is a bit wonky at first but once you learn how it’s all laid out it’s easy to use. But it really needs support for Bluetooth headphones. Update that and this is a 5 star app at this price.

So much potential. This has so much potential to be one of the baddest fastest beat creation on the market. Keep pushing and still keeping it simple and powerful. Great work. This might be my first music review ever. 👍🏾

Ok it’s way to becoming a really good app.. I like that the clips can all be different lengths. It’s nice to not be chained in by the global settings of some apps.

Nice app. It’s a very nice app, I wish it had some sequencer for patterns and automation curves, but it’s good anyway. One critical note though. The note editor needs improvements, specifically pattern length adjustment, incremental value by 1 is kinda crazy, I know there is length presets in the pattern settings, but that’s not cool, better have them in the note editor as well. Also I’m not sure, may be I missed that, is there a snapping for note length stretch?

Too early?. At this moment - v1.0.1 it’s useless. Less than 50% of my synths and plug-ins show up. Many that show up don’t work properly - they don’t affect the sound, crash or mute the track. The money can be spent much better than on this “test release”. If it were any other product, a refund would be expected…

What a delight. Simple and effective.. Such a pleasure to just open the app, add an Au3 instrument and get composing. Compose each section in a clip and use song mode to chain them all together. No more deliberating about all the plethora of options available for iOS composing. Just do it.

Up now, to 4*. 😊 Deleting my incorrect review from earlier!. I previously came down on the programmer of Sand, incorrectly! I had misunderstood exactly how to correctly insert notes in a Track. I have barely read any instructions included. It were completely, my mistake and I do greatly apologize to the programmer and any others whom had read my previous 3* review. In my 10+ previous years of purchasing MIDI related software, I have finally found through Sand, sequencer software that I am able to input and / or record my playing live, MIDI notes into a track! FINALLY! (Having previously purchased other ‘big company sequencer software packages that are high $ and some HEAVILY overloaded with samples / instruments, I just wanted something simple and direct. There are bugs, but I’ve been able to get around them so far.) Mr. Programmer / Support? Can you send me your email addy again, in case your reply from before, has disappeared? I’ll include photos for bugs, when I can.

Brilliant concept!. I’ve been waiting all my iPad using life for this… I’m not even bothered by the minimalistic beginnings of the app, in fact, I’m excited about it. Creating a solid foundation that can morph into whatever WE want it to become… what more can you ask for. Matteo, I’m counting on you to turn this app into the best live performance / DAW / music production software we all wanted and needed. No pressure. 🙂 I love the design, workflow and seemingly limitless possibilities. I’m heading over to the roadmap now to upvote my wish list.
