Good morning!. Very interesting to see how many different kinds of coins are available to be worthy of a certain amount and levels. The best way to get to these coins would have been through an exchange rate system that would have been very different than what is currently being proposed by other coins and would have been more expensive than a regular. Thanks for your sharing and I will continue to look forward for more information about this coin.

Showed 2 completely different coins. When I took a photo of both sides of my coin. The picture they returned to me as being the ones they base their evaluation on were 2 completely different coins. Like I took a photo of a silver dollar and they returned a photo of a dime and a quarter then gave me a price based on sides of 2 completely different coins. That’s when I lost interest in the app. I forgot about canceling my free trial. Now Apple is trying to charge me $33 for an annual subscription to this garbage app that is clearly faulty. But there’s no way to stop the charges thru Apple or CoinSnap because customer service is either non existent or simply unhelpful.

Good app for beginning coin collectors. I really like this app, works well as far as it goes. However I’m not a gambler and since the developer does not reveal what options you get if you pay for it, I’m unwilling to spend money to find out if you can organize your coins into groups such as country of origin or types of coins and to print out the results. I used the app to identify more than 50 coins and it accurately identified 49 of them. Mint marks were accurately noted in about half, but condition and therefore value were way too generous. You have to scan the coin twice to get the condition and that value isn’t adjustable as the mint mark judgments are. If the above conditions were corrected, this app would be well worth it.

Excited but then…. Read review with excitement I downloaded app and uploaded my first coin thinking this app was gonna help me with my collected coins I’ve gathered over a lifetime but then I realized there wasn’t an option for circulated coins I’ve acquired (which pretty much is my whole collection) -when grading coins this app only allows for uncirculated coins I guess. I didn’t see an option to select ie: pocket change or coins acquired in circulation or found coin from change etc as I believe other downloaders of this app assumed besides me- mislead by advertisements THIS APP DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE VALUE OF YOUR OLD COINS YOU'VE COLLECTED OVER THE YEARS - it only gives the expected value of minted or proof uncirculated collected coins which most people don’t really have or care about I want to know how much value if any my old coins found over the years have -meaning: does this 1965 silver quarter I found while doing laundry have a value more than the 25 cents it’ll credit me in this washing machine right now?! If you add this ”circulated option” to your “grading and value search” in your coin app then I’ll give you five stars and a favorite app of all time review.

Novice Numismatist here.... This App is Unbelievably Accurate, Ease of use is Straightforward requiring only three desire to snap good pics! Considering this app Literally encircles the coin with a GREEN line indicating all you gotta do is push thine button & Voila. The pièce de résistance, the app provides the Classification & Current Market Value! I inherited a vast collection from my Nana which I've been adding. This app removed Any & All fears/paranoia of getting scammed by unjust assessments! Highly Recommended this app!

SO SLOWW. this game is amazing. It’s useful and perfect for me since I love collecting old things because it’s cool to think about- but that’s past the point. All the info on the coins inputted are spectacular, but, I do have one grudge with one of my coins, which, shows up as some different coin when I take a picture of it. The coin is this “library coin” and it’s super interesting. But it just doesn’t look like my coin when I see the actual pictures of it. But anyways- some of my other critiques, are easy to handle. 4/5 for that because it’s SO hard to get the perfect fit for my coins. But it’s amazing and organized and super easy to find what I want to look at. My last problem is that it’s SO SLOWW. It has a few bugs especially when it comes to the loading the coin pages up. Every time it can’t load, I have to double click the button, restart the app and take another picture of it. That’s one of the burg reasons I put a 3. Still, overall a great app to approach if you have a coin collection and you want to know the value. Stay safe :)

Amazing at showing me coins. I’ve learned so much about coins. I never knew there was so many I also like how there is a personal assistant to help you it’s amazing. But there’s one thing wrong there’s too many modes to go on, and you have to pay money for certain things, but the rest is great I hope that this is a good review for you guys and I appreciate what you do keep it up

Helpful but missing some simple options. Really helpful for identifying old coins. Especially ones I had from other counties. After doing all the work to take hundred of pics of my coins with the app, I didn’t realize that there wasn’t a way to download all of the pics of the coins I put into the app without having to go back in and download load each pic individually. The option to download all of the pics at once would be really helpful considering it took a few hours in the first place. Also, to use the “grade my coin” option, I have to take pics again of the same coin instead of just using the pics I just took.

Not sure what the hype is all about. I paid $30 for a year subscription. I’ve added coins of all kinds and the app gives nothing but general info, often gets the year wrong, wants me to do half the work, and grades everything at a mint state range from 60 to 70… not helpful at all and so far has proven to be quite pointless. I’m still waiting for what I actually paid for in terms of being useful beyond putting my coins into a list. Pretty disappointed because if I am to know anything beyond what I already do the app is of no help.

Best coin collector app!. This is a really cool app, it asks you to pay at first but you can press cancel and it still allows you to be in the app for as long as you want. Also it has features the are very helpful for example it has a little robot and you can ask it any questions you want. Like what is the most expensive coin on earth. Overall I love this app and if your a coin collector this is a must need to save time and see how expensive your coin are.

First time. Just loaded app. Snapped 4 coins, so far. My lighting where I took pictures is not bright. Yet, every coin was correctly identified as to year and exact description. Impressed so far. All coin estimated values were more than face value. This of course, is exciting to learn. Not high enough to cover cost of next meal, lol. Will be bringing out my coin stash, snap, turn, snap; perhaps one may be the one; changing my future 🙏🏻. Thanks for this app. Do you also have an app for paper notes? I’m giving a 4 star, until I review all my denominations.

Great app, could be better tho!. This app is great in identifying coins and categorizing them where you can come back to update or decide on sending them to be professionally graded. It would be even better if it could assign a numerical number to the graded coin such as AU58 or MS70, currently the best I can get is the letter designation of the grade. Also it doesn’t distinguish between Mint state or proof grade either only shows results as mint state coins for all of the mints. Another important part of grading a coin is the type of finish on the coin such as cameo or deep cameo which would also be a great improvement to this app. Currently the user has to manually input these selections to correctly log the completed coin entry. With these improvements to the imaging gathering aspect of the app it would definitely be a “have to have” tool for any collector, amateur or professional.

My 2 cents. Very impressed with coin snap. I downloaded it from the App Store, entered the required card info, and was checking my first coin all within 5 minutes. I don’t know anything about checking the value of coins but this app seems to know quite a bit. I snapped a picture front and back of a nickel laying on the table and hit “check” within seconds I was provided with all kinds of information including value which as it turns out was worth more than 5 cents five times more actually! The trial period is only 7 days but I’m already contemplating the annual fee of $29. Who knows with this app I might find one coin that can pay that off 😁

OUTSTANDING!. This is the app that I have needed for a few years now. I really never bothered to look through the App Store because I just assumed there would not be an app that could actually do everything that I needed done. I buy & sale antiques & vintage items & occasionally I will see a good deal on a bulk coin Lot, so I usually have to go thru the whole lot one by one and look up the info on each one, and while it is a lot of fun & very interesting, it’s very time consuming.. so I just happened to look in the App store and this app scans the coin, tells you everything about the coin in a matter of seconds & lists in a collection for you. It can also grade the coin for you and has alot of other features as well. So basically, this App covers any & everything that someone may need done when collecting coins of any kind. Not just American coins… all foreign coins as well. Excellent App for coin collectors or for anyone that may be just needing to identify what type of coin, grade, estimated price, ect… of just a few coins.

Great app!. I’m so glad I came across this app one day. Now I can catalog all of my coins with ease and get the value in the process as well as adding it to my collection to refer back to at a later time if required. Going to coin collectors to have coins appraised can be such a hassle in our already busy everyday lives. I will definitely suggest this one to all of my friends and family… they’ll love it!

Just hit cancel?. Yes the pop up to create a subscription can be annoying, and if you are an avid coin collector the purchase may be worth it. Personally, I scanned some pocket change, found nothing and I’ve lost nothing either. This is a great and clever app and I’m impressed with the quality so far. Will update if I detect any suspicious activity because I saw some worried comments.

Poor Specifications. So I was really excited to sort out this jar of pennies I have into “Spend” and “Get Appraised”. I thought this app would be a HUGE help-I was wrong. Not only does the app not tell me if I have an error coin, it also only provides brief descriptions about the coin’s POTENTIAL errors. And not even customized descriptions either. 1984 pennies mention possible errors of die breaks or off center strikes, but heavens forbid it bothers to mention double ears or other visual cues to pick up on. And even if you understand the very vague descriptions there aren’t any pictures specific to each coin so I’ve got something to compare with. This is with premium service! Paying for premium, I’d expect a catalog of references for error coins for visual comparison, since the AI doesn’t actually seem to ID error coins like we’re led to believe. Very disappointed.

Incredible Technology!. I was totally blown away by the technology, as the app clearly can identify coins! Not only that but it generates a plethora of information, which by default allows the user to catalog and organize their collection. With that said, I must admit, even as a novice, I am highly skeptical of the app’s grading process, as it seems extremely lenient. Overall, now that I’ve had a chance to experiment with it, it’s an app I would never want to let go!

Just started using. Ok everyone, nice start, does basic stuff. I have coins you do not have variety, I need to share photographs of coins I just photographed and place into collections. I do like the download feature and then I can place into a collection. Stay within the app. Excel not friendly, can’t take collections and place into excel to give more information in each coin. You have a spot for information but I haven’t mastered how to save. I keep sending features Cheers

Amazing App. This App is everything I’ve needed. I’ve never been an avid coin collector. It started with collecting coins with the year of close relative birthdays. I then just thought it was neat to sift through them and see really old dated coins that aren’t circulating anymore. I then realized some could be worth money. I came across this app somehow and started looking through it. It’s so easy to navigate, tells me exactly what my coin is, offers the list of “error coins” that coincides with your certain coin.. I’m very pleased and happy I found this app!!

Great. I am a coin collector, and I’ve had the hobby for five years. I’ve been looking for an app to look up my coin prices and I found this one. this is a good app overall once you scan the coins, it will show you lots of information about the coin and the price. I also like how it shows the cost of your coin collection. But there is a subscription that is $30. Who knows I might find a coin from this app that’s worth that 😊

1978???. it could mean all of the difference in the world by one year or one mint mark recently a 1943 copper penny sold for $1,000,000 if this app told me it was a 1944… You can figure it out from there... I had a 2016 D penny and it came across as a 2019 D I gave it two stars instead of one because it got the mint mark correct which is impressive anyway I am one day into my free trial so I will update this accordingly when I check more coins of different denomination or if I hear back from the developers.......**update** I am changing my review from two stars to four stars I am not giving it five because I suggest you guys snap the photo of your coin in the identifier twice

Good, not great.. Love the premise, and it works ok, but execution needs some work. Couple big call-outs: 1. Would like to be able to print my collection; 2. Value range is way too broad $4 - $8500 what do I do with that? Would be super great to get closer to true value. Also, dislike have to take pictures twice once to identify the coin and a second time to grade it. also found a couple bugs for example trying to enter a value for a given coin when trying to add it to a collection (unable to update it after the fact either).

Excellent conceptually.. I tried this app hoping it would be the answer to grading and finding value of coins I have collected in my life. At first it was phenomenal but, the app started getting buggy as I worked my way through a couple of pages of slabs. I would like to try again when all the wrinkles are ironed out. I’m not sure the grading is PCGS equivalent or acceptable. I tried removing coins from slabs to achieve consistency and noticed no significant difference. Some coins mint marks were not listed. Somewhat pricey but, for the right app …acceptable.

Exceptional product with MAJOR flaw. CoinSnap is by far the most brilliant product as far as scanning the coin and those images being saved with the coin data. The fact that the scans are used to grade the coin is even greater. HOWEVER…. ALL the time and effort that I put into this project to try and document my now deceased fathers coin collection only to find that there is absolutely NO WAY to PRINT/list the data is a painfully frustrating issue. Why would such a brilliant product not have any way to print or export the data. Then the help suggested that I create a spreadsheet and copy/paste all the information one by one….I was so thrilled and now greatly let down. This definitely one of the biggest product improvements you could make.

Was going to use. I installed it but it makes you sign a term of service and collects information about you. People need to know your information is important, it’s worth something to these companies and I’m tired of them thinking they can keep and use this information like they own it because you agreed without even batting an eye. Then they expect you to pay and subscribe when they’re probably making money off your information also. All companies should have to pay for personal information on anyone collected. Lawsuits need to start flying out big time in todays world to stop this. I uninstalled without use once they gave their lengthy TOS to sign.

Suspiciousness, suggestions. Hi Im jack I have some questions about the app. Coins that are not meant to worth such a high price are worth so much. For example my half dollar coin, when I first scanned the coin it was worth about 114$ but when I washed it using dish soap and other cleaning materials and scanned the coin, the price went down to 30$. A suggestion I have is that maybe you (devs) should create videos on how to look for rare coins and errors and what coins are the rarest. ;)

Just got coin snap. I just got the app so I figured I try it on a few coins. It’s good so far. But now for the real test to try on some of the coins from the 40, 50 & 60’s. I really want to see if I really do have some rare coins worth some serious money. Wish me Luck I’m excited to see what turns up in my coins. Thank you for coming up with this app because my eyes aren’t as good as they used to be. This makes it so much easier and fun to do with my grandkids.

Unsure if I should trust the data. I have snapped collected coins that were on a card and clearly identified. Coin snap, however, gave me information about a completely different coin. Different year and everything. Why? We snapped it 3 different times and from different angles but it was wrong every time. Now I don't know whether to trust the data. Another penny I found had 28,800 coins minted. It valued that penny =.01. Which was lower than a regular 2023 penny value that had 3.000,000,000 or lore minted. Doesn't seem right. I wish there was an easy way to check and crossreference between sources.

About CoinSnap. Considering:The biggest issue is there no security services for data transmission also you don’t need our personal identity there lot apps out there not gathering your personal identity about us I mean is if your company computers get hacked by other countries they will have our personal identity , to credit other personal information it will happens I know couple yrs ago a bank and some companies where hacked. Any data collected from other app through through a secure connection. So I give better rating if the was some security services put up. I know a police chief where I live will say same thing. That’s why I give on star there no security for data collecting. I will download again if there is security devices innext update for data transfer and linked not to our personal identity. Developers did a poor in sight about security services in data collectingand for linking in personal identity to the company computer. Pros: the grading, information, value, reading heavily worn coins it’s a nice app. But the cons listed above is why I give a poor rating with one star. So maybe if developers add security services and the app not linked our personal identity to your server’s I will give a better rating and reinstall the app

Hmmm…. I’m not sure I trust this app. It doesn’t seem to be very accurate when grading the coins. I snapped everything from quarters, dimes and pennies to a $10 Vegas chip, a flattened penny you get out of a machine at the country fair, to a pitted-up blank planchet (we called them something else as kids but I can’t think of what it was), and they were all graded as very fine coins worth a few dollars each. The same pitted up blank I snapped several times and it came back as something different each time. Old beat up, darkened and chipped coins came back as mint and uncirculated. I’m going to keep looking!!

Awesome simply awesome!. I would always try to find the value of coins through the internet, and it was a hassle to have multiple windows open for each coin. But with this app they’ve made it so much more convenient to do so, I give this 5 stars mainly because of the camera feature. It saves so much time typing the type of coin and year, thank you guys for save me so much time! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Coinsnap review from 0x0Alaska. This is a pretty good app. I’m impressed with how well the camera on this app picks up the details on the coins. You can start collections of what coins you have and even look up foreign coins. So your able yo do enough without buying. The one thing I would change is the error check. Right now, you snap a pic, then have option to grade the coin or see the know error coins for that year. With in the error coin section it give you the option to ‘check’ but its only a very generic and a bit vague description of the type of error. I’d much rather have a separate ‘learning’ type of section telling about the different kinds of error coins out there and under check have some pictures of the actual error coins or examples of other. It would also be nice to have a daily/streak bonus of some kind to entice me to come back on more of a regular basis. Maybe a silly game type of component, or a daily coin to collect would be sweet.

Zero functionality without signing up for $ trial. I thought this app would be great, but I’m not willing to sign up for a trial without at least trying the app. Reading the fine print it’s not even a seven-day trial, as advertised, because you must cancel 24 hours before the end of the trial to avoid being charged. I question if some of these other reviews are even for this app. One of them literally is about replacing a part on some kind of device. Nothing to do with scanning coins. Consider enabling a number of scans for free for first-time users. It’s a much more user-friendly approach.

No manual input for rough coins. I have a premium membership and I really have a loved it. Extremely helpful on foreign coins. But the reason I can’t give it five stars is because I can find no way to import the coins that don’t photograph well enough for the app. Some of us collectors have very old, if not ancient coins that we have researched and know what it is, but there’s no way to put it in our collection inside the app because it doesn’t photograph well enough. It would be great to see an option after the photograph is taken that you can click on input coin data if it is wrong. Currently you’re limited to maybe changing a year and a grading but no way to change the name of the type of coin. If there is an option, and I just can’t find it, let me know and I will change my rating, because I do really enjoyed the app!

Great App! Needs work though.. I like the app a lot! It has many features I enjoy and helps me when deciding on buying coins or finding coins to keep with my pocket change or bank rolls. Only issue I really have with the app is the camera when snapping a pic of a coin to identify or grade. Sometimes it’s difficult to center the coin and get a quality photo for the identification process. I’d also like to see estimates and identification of foreign coins too. In all it’s a great app! Fairly priced! Very handy for the collector and easy to use for the new collectors as well!

So far. I have enjoyed using the app and all its features so far. If I was to change one thing it would be when looking at “your collection” I’d like to have a button in that area to organize from most expensive to least or by valuable of a collection. But the big thing that keeps annoying me is that at least 5-10 times an hour the app turns off and I have to restart the app.

Great app foe identification, grading and valuation. This is a wonderful app to grade and value your coins. I haven’t had the need yet to use the identify feature. I wouldn’t recommend the app currently as is today for logging your collection. There is no unique reference number or a wa to get an export or report view of your collection. You can see the total value of all coins but no way to see what is driving the value in your collection without looking at every single coin. Don’t get me wrong this is the best out there for what it does and I applaud the developer for adding a collection function.

Accidentally purchased. I had downloaded the trial on my iPad to see if it would us usful enough to look up some things for my father. Before getting to try out the app I broke my iPad and had to make a claim on replacement. I received it and had to use a iCloud back up from my iPhone instead of the tablet I originally installed on. The same night I activated my replacement tablet with my carrier I received a notification from PayPal with a unfamiliar charge from apple. It was this app charging me for a full year sub. I immediately cancelled and contacted apple and PayPal for a dispute as I felt I had never gotten the chance to either use the app at all nor a chance to cancel before getting charged since I replaced my ipad. Thinking I’d get an understanding response for my situation, these lowlifes apparently need that money more than my family and are actually refuting my request for a refund. I’ll be reviewing and sharing this experience anywhere I can with my spare time. Avoid this app, they are horrible at communicating when a concern comes to rise.

Coins. It’s a very nice app it’s good to get a roundabout price. It would be nice to tell you what the imperfections are in the coins that are worth a lot. For instance, it could be worth between eight cents and $256,000 and that’s with the date, and the mint stamp on it, so then I have to go to a different site and see what people are selling it for and see what the imperfections are. That’s about the only problem I have with the app. It’s been great. I haven’t pulled out my coin collection since I was 13 and now I am 42 and some of the stuff I have seems like it could be worth a lot of money. So now I’m gonna go to a coin specialist and get them appraised. And I wouldn’t have done that without this site I seen it, and it made me remember about my coins in my old hope chest

Absolutely love it but maybe sell coins too. This app is by far the best for coins. It gives you so much details, and I think the last thing to make this app even better would be to add a place to sell them. People have a hard time finding someone to sell coins, at least I do, and I know that if we could sell them that would make it so much easier on me. Please consider it. But even if you don’t sell the coins if we choose to put them up for sale, it’s an amazing app. If I could give it higher than a five out of five I would. Keep it up! And if you read this, thank you.

Developers please read🔜⬇️. Me and my grandpa collect coins together so when I saw a ad for this I knew that it was exactly what I needed and I got it and it did bombard me with subscriptions and premium deals which was really annoying and it also only lets premium members use the extra good identification so I am mad about that but other than that it was pretty good but the developers need to make the extra good identification for everyone because it is not fair and I should not have to pay 9+ dollars a month so that I get a specific answer from the app when I downloaded it to give me specific answers also I was trying to identify one of my grandpas coins that is rare and is from ancient china so I specified the exact dynasty and that coin identifier robot guy denied the empire ever existed and would not give me a straight answer and then at the end it asked me if the results were satisfactory and I said no and it said the developers are always working to improve it wich I do not believe because if that was true then it would have been made completely free a long time ago. The normal coin identification process is actually pretty well made so I can give the developers that but it definitely needs improvement

Hobbies that give you a little something to go on. In my opinion I think it’s safe to say that we all have to have some way to generate the flow of income to have some kind of way to obtain assets and it’s can be somewhat an ordeal The saying that goes “it takes money to get money “ is the best way I can describe how this app approach this saying and very convenient if you ask me Thank you very much Hope this App in particular helps the consumer to invest the time convenience to have the ability to gain the benefit of this method of investing history for gained value as a way to obtaining currency of assets

Incomplete Catalogue and Unrefined Features. There are many good capabilities in CoinSnap, but the catalogues are incomplete, wherein several common coin types are not linked to values. There are several additional steps to add a coin in some catalogues that are resolved in other catalogues. The value range is nice, but not what I would expect for a product one pays $30 annually for, given the grading feature which should refine the value of your particular coin. I would be curious to see how they accept user feedback to improve the app’s usability. I emailed them yesterday, since no phone number, and did not receive a reply yet. There doesn’t seem to be an option to look up value for sets such as a standard proof set etc.

Great potential….. I think it’s got great potential, as I like the user interface— but the APP requires some further development….. 1.). Ability to print out collection reports or don’t limit monthly exports to email 2.). Add additional fields to the .csv export (particularly the name field) or allow the user to pick which fields they want to include 3.). Obviously, work on the accuracy of grading 4.). The ability to zoom in more than just once on the photos in a collection. The app doesn’t allow you to see fine details of the photos, which is critical for coins.

Improve. I would first like to say that I love your app! It’s very easy to use and you don’t make me pay loads of money to use it. In fact, I haven’t paid anything as I just use the free version. But what I would like to see more of is, recognizing error coins without having to look them up. After I take pictures of my coin using your app, it identifies the coin and estimates a grade very well, but it would be nice if it simply told me if I had an error coin. I want to Fornieles that I understand you I didn’t find yours very well., But not specific airs on specific coins.. So after I take a picture, you identify and grade it, but you need to look at the error list next. I would like to add that I know you have an error list, but it does not give specific errors on specific coins. So then I pull up the Internet and find out where that particular error is on the coin. It’s just frustrating to do the extra work and I’m lazy.

Actually impressed. I am a coin dealer who has been involved in the hobby for 13 years. I saw the clickbait ads showing pocket change coins being valued at $5-$500 so I figured I’d give the app a shot. The identification works as expected but many apps have done this before. The price guide isn’t accurate but I’d argue no price guide today, even something like Greysheet wholesale bid isn’t accurate to the true market value of a coin as there are so many factors that influence the value. Finally the grading. I’m actually impressed how decently well this app grades. It gives a broad range but I can forgive that as I know grading isn’t an exact science. It shows Goods and Goods, VG’s as VG’s, VF’s as VF’s, AU’s as AU’s. I’m pleasantly surprised it works decently well. I feel it may have a bias for brighter or dipped coins and a bias against darker coins with XF-AU level of detail but the app I feel still grades pretty well to give someone who is not as informed a general idea as to the grade of their coin. Not sure what the subscription thing is for. I hate subscription services. Just let me pay a flat 30 bucks to access all the features permanently dammit! Anyways despite the ads being obnoxious I’m surprised the app is of much higher quality then I expected.

Good but awkward & non-intuitive. Great app for a novice coin collector. But there are GUI issues. For example, when you “grade” a coin (by taking its photo), and decide to “add it to a collection”, it doesn’t store the photo you just took. Instead, it stores a generic reference photo in your collection in addition to its Grade. If you want the actual photo (without the Grade), you have to use the different camera icon. When you manually add the value of the coin, the pop up window with the number-pad totally covers the rest of the screen & its difficult to close the number-pad (ie, no ‘cancel’, ‘close’ or ‘ok’ button). Overall, good app if you just want simple grading. In fact, I have several PCGS graded coins that the app gave the same grade too. Only real drawback on grading (which is very subjective), is that the app will only grade ranges, not specific values. For example, it will grade a coin as MS but not specifically MS63. This is a bit frustrating since MS runs from MS60-MS70.

Great data base of coins. I’m impressed with this app so far. I’ve been a coin collector for about 15 years. Something I have a big bag of world coins. Some of those coins I had no idea where they come from, but with this app so far I’m able to find out. The coin grading tab work well, only a couple coins did I think it was probably wrong on the grade, but 99% of the time I think it spot on. Overall I think this is for sure a great tool for beginner coin collectors. It has a great data base, grading and inventory section. The yearly cost is also reasonable. Well done

Suggestion. You should have some type of Notice if it’s a duplicate or if the person just has five of the same year and they’re all quarters or they’re all dimes are all pennies etc. so the person knows if they’re accidentally taking another picture of one already took a picture of or so they know how many they have of one certain kind.

Not a bad app but price isn’t worth it.. Good app. But the price system is ridiculous. The cost is that high even if you find a few coins worth selling it wouldn’t be worth more that your first month subscription. Just do a purchase outright or forget it.

Total value. Great app, would love to see total value of my collection

Rating. Tells me nothing. An analysis of auction results might be a good place to start.

Good. Works really well

Best scan app. I was scrolling on twitter and I saw CoinSnap Which basically scans coins and see how much the coins are worth. There was a pay thing but I click cancel so I found coins and scanned it and got 69$ so this app is a 5 star.

Nice App. Seems to be working ok.. interesting app

1st time user it’s fun. Having a ball haven’t found a fortune yet loll

Terrible. This is is terrible I was doing the free trial and it charged me $50!? Like I had cancelled it in advance but it still charged me. And half the time it can’t even identify the coin even if it’s clear. Dumb app would not recommend

Awesome app. Very good even here in Sustralia. Well worth the money . Well done !

App. Great app love it

Review. Brilliant easy to use

Camera. Make camera work please

Information needed. Hi does this app do all coins as in Australia coins too.

Coins. Is great very accurate I love it I just became an enthusiastic about coins thanks CoinSnap

Some times it’s incorrect. Some times it’s in correct no matter how many times I retake the picture and not sure about how to go about changing it to the right coin 🪙?

liltics review. I checked out the app liltics referred to that he’s been using 6 years free. I don’t find anywhere whereby I can join free fir anything more than a week then I’m roped into a membership. I don’t believe liltics review to be a legitimate review.

Cancel subscription. Why is it so hard to cancel

Awesome app for coins. Just started using this app, very helpful.

Brilliance and Learning. I truly stumbled on this app, I have randomly kept certain coins over the last couple of years because I thought “oh that’s pretty” or “wow that’s shiny” not knowing anything about what was the background….. moving along to the present and my coin collecting has taken on a different direction and I love to know I have CoinSnap in the palm of my hands at all times 👍. Totally worth it and a great easy, user friendly app 🙂

Review. 4/5

Cannot unsubscribe. No way that I can find if stopping this subscription 🤔

Don’t download. Once downloaded you need to subscribe for 1 weeks free access.

Pretty cool app. Unfortunately not free

bad sports. i simply made an error thinking it was an app called coinspot they even have a similar coulor i dont use this app but they wont refund me 40 and im suffering financial hardship dissabled but they still wont refund me if i could pick minus 5 stars i would

Really good app. The best app for coin scanning

L plates. This app is awesome because I’m only just staring out and it gives me so much info on the coin. I’m amazed

Great site. The best

Scam. Did the trial. Cancelled immediately after downloading. Was charged immediately within the trial period right after download and opening the app. Avoid this app unless you are absolutely sure you need it. The coin identification was off as well. 1942, 1978 and coin is 1943.

It working.. I down this and it hasn’t worked. What a take.

Australian Development. App concept seams great. Love the idea of Collection feature. But needs more development for Aus Currency and Aus Market. Doesn’t bring up a lot of Commemorative coins or pricing. Option between circulating or not circulating would be good for pricing and serious collectors. Currently cancelling trial till further development.

Amazing app. This is an absolutly amazing app. i highly reccoment you get this! It has coins from all arroind the world on it! However, it lost a star because trying to scan an Australia 10 cents crashing the app onto a loadinging loop. Also, why isnt this app part of the Indentify kit? I would make sence

Not correct!. This app dosent seem correct as current currency reads wrong ?

Australian 1 dollar coin. Great info thanks

Aus. Kept saying that AUD coins were a different currency never worked once

Great app. Easy to use very useful for avid coin collectors or if you just want to check the value of the coin

Needs improvement. I need to be able to add my own coins as you don’t seem to support the Australian market, I work at Perth Mint and get new coins constantly that I just cannot upload at all. Useless, needs allow user input to become a viable app for $40 I expected more than what’s on offer. Coin rating seems wildly inaccurate as all my coins are MS70 not 60 or less as indicated in app. Sometimes the camera won’t even take a photo so i use manual mode and it’s just as bad sometimes worse. No idea how I’m expected to have my whole stack here, maybe 5 or 6 coins are actually supported. Devs, you have a lot of work to do, if it’s this bad on renewal I’m done.

Premium account offers features that are not available. I like the ease of the app. Camera is good, and identifies coins accurately. Price range for scarce coins can vary by upto $50. Premium account states that you can create collections based on your personal preference- this is not true, only recently some American coins series can be added to a collection. This feature was why I paid the yearly subscription, only to have to create my own manual list, I would have cancelled , except I have pre-paid for 12months. If it’s not a feature, do not offer it.

Good app but could be even better. Good app. Has potential to become even better with some added features and extra info.

Coin rewards. Love the simplicity

Useful. Great app to have, Love it If u dont want to subscribe hit the cancel button up the top when u open the app and u can still use it,u just dont get all the benefits but still gives u all the information u need 🙃 It’s Simple as

Nice!. Nice app, doesn’t recognise all coins, but very useful!

Pretty good. They usually identify the coin correctly but sometimes they do not. When you log in it keeps telling you to get premium. And for some coins on ebay and other platforms they are being sold for 2,000 dollars but the app only says it is 8 dollars so I don’t know who to trust.

Update. Please update to latest coins. I can’t even find matches to most of the coins I have Collected. Not even 2020. It now Coins in 2023. Perhaps you should tell people about the lack of recent coins before they spend money on app.

Amazing app. This is a great app with all the functionality needed and wanted by both beginner and experienced coin collectors for free

Perfect. Perfect but not as good without pro

Coin snap. Excellent app helps me check coin value, very formative, helps me keep track of coins i have in collection

A must-have for any collector…keeps getting better. I’ve had this app for at least a year now and in the last 6 months it’s had some awesome feature updates. I’ve been using the free version this whole time too and it has kept my complete collection and it doesn’t cause me any issues or impose limits because I haven’t upgraded. I plan to pay for the app moving forward simply to show appreciation to the developers for creating, maintaining and still improving such a useful and brilliant app. Thanks guys…11/10 👍🏼

Ms B Burian. You swap the format I liked it better when the camera went off automatically And I was able to grade the coin I don’t like this version with the circle that I have to place my coin in

Love it. I love this app but it doesn’t recognise some coins I put a 2cent Australian coin and it couldn’t find it . Besides that I love how easy it is to use thank you .Glen

Good fun. It was interesting to see see how much some of my coins were worth. The app easy to use

Coin review. I enjoyed an afternoon of complete bliss with my oldest son and youngest daughter. Recently their grandma dropped off a bag of change( coins) and it was my sons idea to get the coin snap app. We marvelled at the worth of some coins and rejoiced at one in particular. Lol. One being worth thousands, or this what the coin snap app lead us to believe. Unfortunately we decided to snap the same coin the next day and it was only worth a few 100. Disappointing as that was it still gave me wonderful memories with my two children that are 15 years apart in age. It’s hard to find an activity that all 3 of us enjoy. I’ve always liked coins, my son some what and now my daughter’s interest has been sparked. Thanks coin app your a 5 star from us!

useless app. Just started using the app I have a tonne of coins to go through for my mum. Scanned an Israeli coin and the app said it was a German Mark .Of all the errors to make, that was a particularly bad one. I mean the coin was large and had Hebrew writing. Come on!

Interesting. Works like a charm

Value!. Love this app. I think some coins should have a little more value since the years are over 15 years old. I wish it could do this for bills as well. Overall love it.

Nul. Il faut payer pour utiliser

Why CoinSnap is cool. It literally thought a coin worth like 0.37cents was an Italian WW1 coin which is like 24$ so CoinSnap is sooo nice😁

Great job’ coin snap. Keep up the good work “

Merci. Merci

coinsnap. its literally the best since i like to collect 10/10

The apps. The app was designed beautifully and logically allowing it to learn and identify the coins and provide reference value. It can identify almost every coins existed amazingly. Keep improving and if you can include info like where you obtained it’s values info or where we can sell or exchange them would be great. Thanks, Andrew

Good app so far. I own a couple of coins from different countries and so far it detected most of them. As a Canadian I would love to see tokens and/or Canada mint items in here. There’s one thing missing (since the app only find “normal” coins and no “collectible” coins) and it’s the ability to add custom coins to our collection. Great app to keep the collection up to date. If your collection is rather small I would try for 7days and scan everything I can then you have the option to export your collection to your email. For bigger collection, it’s worth the 30$ a year.

CoinSnap 1 star review. On the CoinSnap application CoinSnap told me to do a review so here how it goes. The reason why I’m giving CoinSnap a 1 star review is because of multiple things I dislike about the app. 1.This app exits its self out frequently and also when taking pictures of coins most of the time the app will show you a picture of a coin that is way different then the one that you try/tried to take a picture of. 2.This app will not let you or anyone else view each other’s coin collection or sell them on there Facebook page (for the fact these things I wrote on number 2 is not even listed on the game description on the App Store so the people that are thinking to download the app don’t know about this). 3.After downloading the app, once you enter through the app you are immediately required to accept a 7 day free trial in order to use the CoinSnap app with no warning and after the 7 day free trial you are required to pay a yearly subscription in order to use the app (also not said on the app description on the App Store). I think the only reason why CoinSnap is forcing us to a subscription is because who would give/pay this app money to use it when it’s not even worth paying for. Please read and enjoy this 1 star rating before downloading the CoinSnap app.

Arnaque. Application gratuite pour 7 jours et on doit s’abonner pour la conserver.

Meh. It’s a decent app with a great purpose and very easy to use but your database is outdated and I can’t put in my new coin from 2023. Maybe try updating it?

Cancel. How do I make sure this is cancelled

Kr. Really good app for collecting

Not free Misleading marketing. Enough of this misleading advertising to products! Just mention how much it cost! Whoever thought that telling people it’s 3 or 7 days free or Free trial is a big scammer.

Very impressive. Needed an app like that very nice congratulations keep up the good work 👍🏼

Absolutely USELESS. I really need a more convenient way to organize the details of my numismatics collection, and hoped this app would be the answer. WRONG! I’ve tried to catalogue 5 different coins so far, and the app didn’t manage to identify a single one of them. It mistook a gold coin for its silver counterpart - and provided no way to edit & input the correct information. It didn’t recognize the other 4 coins I attempted to catalogue - AT ALL; again, no way to input any missing information, or update the app. CoinSnap lists only a very few coins produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, and the listings available in the drop-down menus appear to end in the year 2018. This thing is an utter waste of time - hopefully not your money - don’t even bother to sign up for the free 7 day trial. This thing is utter garbage.

Currency. Took photo of a coin and it gives a value in Pounds How co i change thjs to Canadian Dollars

Very convenient for new collaborators. Very easy and trustworthy app

Pièces. Super

This is ridiculous. I have a number of ancient coins. It successfully identified none of them. Even amongst the coins that were more common, and American, it misidentified two out of three.

Do not worry it works. The application works very well you will have fun with it. At a party it’s very fun, family gatherings and sometimes you can get lucky and get a quarter that’s worth Five Bucks. Have fun and enjoy

Not Free. I downloaded just for 4 minutes then I deleted. The App. Not free, you have to subscribe in App. Store to get 7 days free & then $ 29.99 . You can’t subscribe if your account balance less than $ 30.

Can’t correctly identify a single coin out of 3. Waaaayyy off on the identification of 3 ancient gold coins. Can’t even identify that they’re gold: one is identified as bronze, the other as silver, third as copper. The coins it matches look NOTHING like the coins I have.

Excelente. Me encanta, estoy escaneando cada una de mis monedas.

What I have been looking for a long time. App great as when kid had to buy books or today search internet this app quickly identifies peace and gives great detail. Thanks and hope to have hours of fun.

Coin. I’m a coin collector at a young age and I love this app but doesn’t have 2024 and some 2023 mins Five star

I love this app so much. This app is amazing, I can scan my coins, find out their value with accuracy and helpful tips, and I don’t understand the other ratings saying you need to pay to use it. It’s completely free to use and fun. But the single best part about the app is the A.I assistant Coe. She is so so helpful and I wouldn’t know half as much I know about coins if it weren’t for her. Not to mention she seems strangely human. I’m not going to lie, I think Coe might be smarter than ChatGPT.

Requires a subscription. Apps that require a subscription should not be allowed to be listed as free apps. Time wasters earn a lone star review.

Silver and gold. This app will not process Silver or Gold bullion/ coins. Perhaps they can load them into the app so we can identify coins like silver maple leafs, or buffalo silver rounds.

Suggestions. Amazing app. So far has been able to accurately identify my coins. I think the subscription price is fair as well. My two biggest things so far are that you can’t put coins in multiple collections Example. I want to put a coin in my coloured toonie collection AND my favourites collection. Second thing is that there should be a way to sort coins alphabetically so that you can easily see duplicates. That is all I have for now! Keep up the good work!

You have to pay. I was going to keep this app since my friend recommended this app to me but you have to pay to use the app

Neat. It seems to work well, tho at times it just closes (no biggy) haven’t tried some features yet like transferring to PC. Also it seems to give almost everything a quality of AU which is not accurate and the values are questionable but it apparently allows you to manually change that. It has helped me sort a large collection of assorted coins which makes it very worth it just for that!

Doesn’t do errors. Also doesn’t grade accurate

Awesome. Works great for majority of world coins I wish it would have error identifiers under varietys or separate columns

This is alright. Would be great to have a total of all the coin collection thank u

Needs to be updated. I have a 2023 Elsie MacGill Colored BU, One Dollar Loonie, Canadian $1. The app is unable to identify it because the app hasn’t been updated to recognize 2023 coins. Otherwise this app is amazing and you don’t need the pro version to identify coins which is awesome.

NO FREE TRIAL. The app will not allow free trial. It keeps saying payment incomplete. Even after it offers me 7 days free. My card works fine with other apple apps. I gave up trying

Great Tool!. This app is very accurate in detecting a coin. I’ve had no issues with the free version.

Congrats. Excellent app. The only thing I’d like to see is non monetary tokens added. Other then that. I love it. Will recommend to anyone that’ll listen

Yes. Yes

Overall really good. I would give it a 5 star but is the pricing that throws me off, sometimes I see low or high values on a coin and I use another coin app and it tells me the exact opposite.

Coins. Love it!!!

Wry handy. Doesn’t recognize some coins but the camera does all the adjustedments on its own and even snaps the pic when It’s ready so all u have to do is point the phone with one hand and rotate the coin in the other it the app does everything else for u and makes it pretty easy .

Nice app. Very nice app for coin collectors and numismatics, still needs some sharpening, but it’s really good to identify the coins, specially if you have a large collection

Useful Tool for a Coin Collector. When you’re in the right lighting, this app will snap an accurate photo of your coin and tell you all you need to know about it. The only downside is just how frequently the app crashes. I’ve used the app for roughly half an hour so far and it’s crashed at least 5 times. It’s not a dealbreaker for me by any means, but it’s definitely a bit annoying. It happens after I snap both photos but before the analyzing screen comes up.

Works pretty good. It works as it should

Pay. You have to pay👎👎👎👎

Not a bad app for in a pinch. I gave it 4 stars because I’m a pinch it’s not a bad app to have gives you a round about value to coins def doesn’t do good at legitimately grading your coin because it doesn’t pick up on errors etc. but like I said if I’m a pinch want to identify a coin it’s great. Needs some work maybe to make out little better but good enough to use for now.

Super easy way to catalog your coin collection!. The app is very good at identifying coins from around the world as well as detailing special coins within a category of coins. The app is not flawless, as it misidentified an old token as being a $100 silver coin worth $900 - I wish but sadly not true. It also crashes out randomly when looking up the coin but it recovers without any data loss.

Collecting made fun & easy. CoinSnap is very user friendly. It easily logs your coins for you. You can view them by country, description or date. It does have a few glitches here and there but overall it’s good fun & educational. Pay attention to your dates on your coins as sometimes the comparison picture is not an exact match but a “range”. I’m sure with time these little kinks will get worked out!

Corporal Mike Meoli. So far so good. Trying to get familiar with it all. Hard to explain in text but In general all is good. Is still don’t know all the info and what services you provide but I’m sure I will find out. It would be great if it was all connected so if someone needed a coin I had it would be known if I authorized it to be public in the group and vise verse. And info on all the details on this subject. Thanks

Is there a way. I just downloaded the app and I like how easily you can add to the collection - but I want to know what my entire collection is worth - (face value / fair market ) once I add in the guesstimated grade. Just a ballpark - If you could make it show that and OR be able to upload it to an excel spreadsheet would be awesome !! Just something to shoot for maybe

Needs Mint Mark ID or Select. It would be great if identify coin could recognize mint mark. Until then, add a way to choose the mint mark - P, D, S, others - after the coin is identified. For example - I identify a 1922 D penny - the app tells me it’s a 1922 penny - on identification page, I want to be able to select if it’s a (no mint) mark or a ‘D’. When I select it tells me the value of that coin in that mint mark. Once this feature is added, I’ll change my review rating from 3 Stars to 5. Thank you.

Just downloaded. No real instructions. I’m taking photos of my coins thinking it will provide value and it does not. Then you have to take another photo to determine value. I’m thinking it will classify my coins with info provided from the scan. I’m asked to indicate if a mint stamp was shown. I’m still playing with the app and logging what I’ve collected. We will see if it’s a waste of time. I also thought it would tell me if I have a coin of special value.

My Personal Review. First of all, AMAZING! This app gives you everything you need to know about a specific coin that you need information on. I scanned a quarter I found and it was worth 4$ and it gave me all the information about it. If you need to learn about any coin, it’s price, state, etc, this app is a NEED for coins! 10/10, love it!

Coin, identifier, PCGS. The app itself is excellent at identifying coins however, why don’t people acknowledge your app and except the findings of your app such as coins that you really can’t tell what they are when they come up and it tells you the date people doesn’t want to acknowledge that why but I give the app I give it a five star.

Coin. I had purchased this as a trial and deleted it before the trial end it and was still charged. I did send a message to let them know, and I still have not had the issue corrected. I was still charged. I really appreciate it when this is taken care of. Thank you, Sherry.

CoinSnap. The app can identify a coin from a data base. It is not able to tell if the coin is counterfeit or real. After collecting coins for over 50 years. I have learned to use a set of scales and a caliber to measure the diameter of the coin. I scanned 5 coins that I bought years ago knowing that all 5 coin were fake. The app identified what they were supposed to be, but did not tell that they were fake. All are suppose to be silver one is copper/silver plated. The app is good for identification purposes only. I also learned the hard way about buying anything from the Chinese market. Don’t buy unless it is certified. Then use caution.

Complete trash. I am a coin collector and I was looking for an app to measure my coin worth. I got this one and realized instantaneously IT DOESN'T WORK. It kept insisting that my Canadian quarter was worth two bucks, and my perfect condition Soviet Union coins were worth 0.06 cents. When I tried my perfect condition steel Pennie’s from World War Two it said it was worth 0.40 cents. I tried a coin worth one pound, and it said it was worth five bucks. And let me get this straight. My USSR coins are worth far more than a one pound British coin. To all of you hard core coin collectors I say this: DO NOT GET THIS APP.

Best I’ve found for coin identification. I’ve spent hours trying to find correct information on my inherited collections. This app has saved me so much frustration by identifying and giving a value range. Sometimes the range is so widespread the uncertainty becomes an issue again, but there is a great Facebook community for this app.

Great overall. This app is great for finding the name and value of your coin! But there are some things that are need to be fixed. The scan for the coin doesn't work most of the time. It does some crazy stuff. The grading system thing always says that the value is very low. I had a coin in perfect condition and the thing said it was very low value. It didn't just happen once. But this app is great overall!

Review. You have a pretty good app, but you need to update it more often. Most 2033 coins are not in here. The variations of some coin weights are now in here, ie one ounce vs one ten ounce gold coins! New liberty coins aren’t in here, or I can’t find them. Like the rodeo horse. Just to mention a few. The more common coins are pretty good! Thanks for a great app, which will hopefully be getting better soon. Dave

It’s OK. So the app has a lot of fun facts about old coins that are valuable and also you can grade your own coins to see how much value they’re worth. But, occasionally the coins that I great will have the year and wrong meant. For example, I graded my 1969 San Francisco penny to see how much it was worth. But, the result sad that it was a 1959 Delaware penny. That’s why when we get this four stars. Thank you for reading.

This app is awesome!. It was just what I have been looking for. I am a foreign coin collector and it identified every coin right. Though I think it gave me bad prices I scanned 2 half dollars and it said one of them was worth 18 dollars and the other one was 15 dollars. If you just need to know what coin it is this is the right app but if you are planning on selling this probably not the right app.

Wonderful. Software is wonderfully easy to use. The grading ability is a nice starting point. The ability to make my own collection was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this as a starting point for getting your collection together.

Coin Snap. So this app came across my page one day. I always thought that u had to have some kind of crazy expensive coin that that had some crazy story that goes with it. Instead u may very well have a quarter in your pocket that’s worth anywhere from $.25 to $1,000!!!!!!!! WHAT! That’s nuts !!!! And it’s so easy to use! I’m a fan!

Does The Job. Great app for logging, identifying, and grading most of your coins but sometimes the photo system is a bit buggy and selects the same side of the coin twice which causes the system that identifies the coin to be incorrect. It works well most of the time but as stated has a few bugs. Sometimes the grading system gives different answers every time the same coin is graded.

Is it really true?. I just used coin snap for the first time. I’m really confused, they say that some of the hundreds of Pennie’s I’ve checked were way up in the hundreds of dollars and others were just worth a few cents. How do I know if they say it’s worth $800 how do I verify that. I hope they are right because between all my coins including silver dollars I’ve got around $50,00 dollars.

Only a 4 stars because. This app is very useful and interesting I do like it! The information is awesome the only thing that keeps me from 5 star is. I would like to know if there is a way to identify known errors from pictures or coins that may not have been identified as an error? Maybe I just haven’t found it yet. Other than that I’m liking it! And have lots of coins to go back through! Thanks

Great coin app!. I’ve had this app for awhile and love it. I had to cancel my subscription due to having to cut back on my budget. This app is still my favorite app even with all the free content it provides. I highly recommend this app for the coin collectors or just the people interested in learning about coins.

Uncertain. While checking my collection, came up with a 100ds of a dollar that is showing an extremely High value using your program. How accurate Is your system? Are you able to see the coins I check. The system is good keeps you from Digging from books and internet. I, providing accuracy give your program a 9.

Cool App. I’ve got plenty of coins and this app helps to at least sort them. However, it gets confusing, the price when you identify the coin is not as vague as the grading coin. I wish it could be a bit more accurate in that sense. I’m happy to be able to sort them at least. I guess the price of this app would make more sense if the AI actually could appraise the coin. I’m guessing that tech hasn’t been invented. Lol.

Upset Customer MY MONEY WAS FORCED OUT FOR PAYMENT. This company is so bad they had a tryout. I downloaded this application within 20 minutes I canceled next thing you know they took out my money from my bank account and there was nothing I can do do not buy this generic garbage that is not even worth your time you’ll be spending hours on the phone with the bank and Apple Customer care didn’t do nothing about it. Horrible, horrible customer service, horrible company that steals your money, greed, thirsty, bloodsuckers.

Day 1 of writing an article about coins. All my years from a child or kid, I have always pictured and imagined myself of doing the unthinkable by being a wealthy man. Years later I am 20 years old with knowledge inside of me. This app would be a great source to use to achieve great things later on in my future.

The best. This app gives correct info about all kinds of coins. The only thing is that I have a coin from 2023 and the app thinks it is from 2003. They really need to fix that, but it helped me find a coin that was worth 36 dollars! I will continue to use this app but you all really need to fix that and update to where it shows coins from 2023.

Great help. I really love your app. I got it so I could learn about coins I have and it is the best app for coins. I wish it would tell you if your coin has an error, it does come close , i love it and think it keeps getting better and better you’ve added a lot since I started using it. The price for a yr is fair and I will renew my app again.

The coin app of knowledge. I enjoy the app takes away from second guessing the coin and avoiding the opinions of people who think they know better then the app and every other person… thank you for the feedback and for helping me understand the value and the grading process… y’all are very thorough

Not what I hoped. Took the trial. Went through some old coins my grandmother left. Some coins when pictured said it had a value. Made a mistake and took a picture of the coin again instead of a new coin and it said it was only face value. I did that with a few more coins. Same thing happened. Got a high value range, then too another picture and it was 2 cents over face value. inaccurate information for what I need isn’t worth it. I’ll keep looking for a better service.

I love it. I got a bag of antique coins from a shop (whole bag was $5) and I went through them with this app. I found me a REALLY rare dime in the mix (1944 mercury dime) and I almost fainted I was so happy! Highly recommend this app for the avid coin collector, or general coin enthusiast. Go through all of your coins in your jar, you just might find much more than face value

Too bad the database/spreadsheet management is so weak. The app offers robust photo and lookup capabilities, but agile management for the collection data is lacking. For example, I can only build a spreadsheet on my home PC containing the photos I take in the app by exporting the photos separately after they’ve been exported to the device photos, which results in their being disassociated from the listings in the app for which that were made. I wish they could be exported with the rest of the CoinSnap data!

Easy to use. Love this app to identify coins. So easy to use and quickly identifies everything about the coin. Condition, price, year, melt down price. I have a few coins that I could barely see the date or the mint, and the app was able to identify it. Highly recommend this app for any beginner or advanced collector.

Could be better. The app is very good at identifying coins and I love the new AI, but I think the AI could be used to tell you more about the coin when you take a picture or when you have taken a picture and it can tell you about its grade and why it is that grade, ect. Other than that the app is awesome.

I was a Fan. Now I’m an Air Conditioner! 5 Star. WOW! i downloaded this app when it had only couple thousand downloads. I used it every so often & even recommended it to folks. To my amazement this had blown up to 70k! Amazing! I opened the app up right before this & This team dedicated a lot of time to make this app work. As far as apps go, This app put greysheets to shame. Learn as much as you can about coins, cause it Gets you thinking about the life of the coin. it is also art! Definitely an investment. Soon our currency will all be digital! I apologize ahead of time, if you find errors in my review. I’m on mobile, it’s difficult to see sometimes. Cheers

I use this often. I really like this app. It’s easy to use for identifying and for grading coins. Also when you’re curious and want to know what your coin is worth, it will provide a value range which is narrowed down by the grade assigned. It does not send you to a website where you are on your own to find something similar for comparison.

Public figuring on face, federal government. I would like to take a moment to why I saying these few words, as I am a rare, coin, collector stamps, and integrity of artifacts. So with that being said it’s companies like this that might help assistant or sell but grade some of you’re priceless price coin collections to get or receive a more market price rate good luck going out to all of you in you’re travels on getting that fair value with our merchandise everyone.

First timer. I am just learning about coins myself. Trying to keep everything straight can be very confusing. I am just learning about this app as well. I have not looked at your “about us” page yet, but look forward to learning even more. Will follow up on this review soon.

Bad! No Counterfeit Detection. This coin doesn’t properly identify coins. It told me one of my coins is worth $200k so I looked the coin up and found that the image matches a fake coin and not the real coin. I had several coins I scanned and it didn’t properly identify fake coins or commemorative coins. It’s not a proper coin identifier therefore the values it provides are also inaccurate. Using this was a colossal waste of time because I had to verify what it was telling me and learning the information was false info. They should pay me for using this app.

coin collection 101. my review on this is good and bad I like the ability to be able to view coins but I still believe there an app like this something like this should be free not money at all but I am I understand that the people who make it I have to have some money I guess but for serious, hard-core coin collectors for such a small thing on an app on a phone that’s ridiculous You can only scan so much before you have to pay and that’s stupid

Great Tool for Basic Coin Identification. Has some very useful features and it’s easy to use. However, it consistently misidentifies mint marks and at times also gets the year wrong. I cannot trust nor rely on an app that’s not a legitimate tool. I use other sources to gather insight about specific coins and don’t rely solely on the app, but the error of missing mint mark isn’t negotiable or excusable. A suggestion would be to purchase a short trial version to assess performance and reliability. I can show how many coins it misidentified by mint mark. Best of luck.

Amazing App. Works perfectly fine. Have a collection of over 150+ coins from different countries and all were identified correctly. Love the collection feature. Hope one day a similar app can be created about snapping different car models. Would be perfect for car enthusiasts and car spotters!

I WAS so excited. I was so excited when I discovered this app on Twitter. There was a button that I could select which would have given me a notification when my free trial ended. I was so excited. Then I went to make the confirmation and download the app. It asked me to provide a pay option, which I have locked due to reoccurring subscriptions that are sometimes hard or impossible for me to contain, so I then unfortunately had to back out. If the application will remind me when it’s time to be charged then why do k have to pre authorize anything etc? This looks like a dream come true if only things were a little different.

The app is great but…. This app is great, I wouldn’t want to change the main features of it. However, this app needs a little bit more work. It needs to be able to sell the coins you collect. I’m sure a lot of people would be willing to buy and sell there coins. Truthfully you guys are on to something. But the reason I give it 3 stars is do to the yearly price, it is way to much for what this app is really comparable of.

Excellent app!. This app is essential for inventorying coins. The accuracy excellent with the default being a range of years if the mint date isn’t legible. I have two improvement suggestions; one is the total reference price for all the coins in a collection and the second is the ability to categorize coins so that families can use the app. For example, coins can be inventoried by Dad’s coins, Mom’s coins, Jr’s coins, etc.

Inadequate. 1. An improvement would be for the app to accurately document the year to match the photos of the coins. 2. If the app cannot accurately record the year of the coin, it should allow the user to input the accurate year to agree with the photo. This app doesn’t permit this action because it doesn’t include all of the year in the selection Pop-up. There’s, many of the photos in this collection don’t match the minted year so the values are inaccurate. 3. Lastly, it would be helpful if the app cataloged the input by year.

4.5. It is a great idea and website, but it would be better if they had the exact price of the coin. I rated this coin app as a 4.5 because it actually knows the name of the coin and when it was released in what day it came out. I’m not saying that it is a bad website but they could have done better with it. You should still download the app because It works. Download it now!

User friendly. Coin collecting is something I inherited. This is a great starter app and inexpensive. Not sure how well the AI grading could be. Not sure of the technology, so I wonder if it depends on lighting and camera quality. However it was able to identify every coin. Some dates were off so watch your dates. The grading scale provided is a helpful asset. 👍🏻

Great app. Needs a little extra. This is the best. I love the way it crops the photos. I only have a few coins that the app couldn’t figure out. One was a 1627 Lithuanian/poland coin. It gave me 1626 and no other options. The others are odd ball coins as well. 330AD Roman coins and such I’ve been adding my collections and I noticed a couple of things that would make it even better for collectors. 1. The ability to take a photo of your coin and then enter the coin information manually when the app can’t get the coin correct. 2. The ability to add a photo of a US Mint set of coins as a single photo with description 3. The ability to rename or edit the name of a collection once it’s created
