4/5 bc i didn’t play whole thing yet-. OK SO - THE GAME IS NICE (so far) and i was thinking about a character idea! it’s for all the season 4 people, there will be a point in the game where it asks “Have You Watched Season 4 Yet?” and there are options yes or no, if the player clicks yes, they go to a different dimension thingy, and they have to complete challenges to get a special character, which i was thinking.. could be ØØ1! i would love if you could think into this idea, thanks!

I love this game. This game I saw on Netflix and I scanned it and downloaded the game and it changed my life. You have to do these puzzles that are really fun. But the bad thing is it is to easy. But other than that it is fun. From John

Things that just don’t make sense -. I had to uninstall because at a certain point you can’t level up anymore. They introduced the “gaming table” and THEY select the main people from your roster (you can’t change this), but the rest of the team mates you put into the table can’t go higher than the lowest level person they select for you. Mine happened to be a 3 star Argyle. So while I have 4+ star Max, Lucas, El all up to lvl 120+ Argyle can’t go past 100 without a promotion. But good luck ever finding another Argyle card, let alone enough cards to level him past 3 stars. 🙄 so now all my most powerful players are just sitting at my table not growing at all. You can’t scrap Argyle either. So either the gaming table is completely useless, or Argyle is completely useless and bogging my entire team down. And if you remove players from your gaming table they drop back down to lvl 1. So my options are to either set all my players back to lvl 1 just to get out of the mess, sit around and wait for the portal to open every day and hope my winnings allow me to call players that day and pray there’s multiple Argyles, or uninstall. I uninstalled.

No ads. No in-app purchases.. No, really, none. If you are a Netflix subscriber (and who isn’t at this point), there are no power ups or characters to purchase. (I’m not sure how it works if you aren’t a subscriber though). That in and of itself is enough to keep me interested in the match-3 game but when you add in the user friendly interface and many different characters with a plethora of abilities you get a fantastic game experience with very few flaws. One thing I would mention is how difficult it is to upgrade the ultra characters once you get to level 100. I’ve been trying to upgrade my Ultra Eleven (purple) for more than a week and I never get copies of her card. That’s very frustrating. Also the cost of the Ultra characters in the portal store is way too high and it would be nice if they changed the stock every 2 weeks rather than 4. My small complaints aside, this game is as close to perfect as is possible. I highly recommend it. 5/5 👾👾👾👾👾

Notifications on clubs. I love the game but I think you should add notifications when you have text from your club members even if you’re in game but I will still rate it five stars

The best game in existence. I usually don’t rate apps or games but I’m telling you this game is awesome. As a stranger thing super fan I love all the characters and references to the show. I especially love hellfire club it’s so cool on the last one you fight a literal dragon!!!!

Great game but not what i imagined. When i heard about this game (literally by netflix) i thought i would be a raid shadow legend type game, not a puzzle game. But it is pretty good puzzle games, it has no ads which is really good compared to the other games i’ve played. There are some problems with max, joyce, and will. Max has a boy nose, joyce looks like a creepy pasta character, and will looks like a dunce, soo yea.

🔪❤️🖤 this was awesome!. I know I’m not a puzzle person but me being a stranger things fan this opened to me! Although I wish they had other characters like barb, or the demogorgon (if tamed). But overall this game really got me, especially that we’re in the game! Just a little something that might be cooler for the game is that you can decorate your character to make it look like you, or idk if that’s there. But yet again the game was splendid! And uhh please make more of this, I’m into this crud now!!

DOWNLOAD THIS ASAP. This is a really good game. There are no ads, no bugs, and it’s super fun. I recommend this to any Stranger Things fan, and if you haven’t watched Stranger Things you can still get it, but it might be a little confusing. But you can watch Stranger Things.

Fun game!. This is a really fun game I can’t wait for the new portals! I hope a lot more new characters come out! I would die to see more steve characters. Hopefully vecna gets added soon. Maybe we might get to fight vecna in a new event sometime. If we do I would love it.I also want to fight the mind flayer for a event mode. If vecna was one of the fighters in the game it would be hard to get him but he would be a really good fighter. I really hope we get more updates soon!

Fun game with Netflix but…. So great game, love everything about it. One thing I have an issue with is that by 11-21 the boss is REALLY difficult to pass. Now with these games it would be easy to get around with buying something, but now that it’s free, there’s no way to do that. The monster boss has 5 regen, and a few levels of fury. Fury you can remove, but not the regen. So unless the RNG gods are feeling frisky and give you 10 chains in a row, your party has no chance. At this point I have 2 4*, and the rest 3*. How to improve without story or NHL? Maybe remove or lower its regen. Game has a nice fat wall at 11-21.

This game is awesome but…. I really love this game! It is very fun and easy to get the hang of! I only have a couple small complaints. I love the Character designs and the game except Will. They show him,but you can’t use him as a playable Character! I was so disappointed because he is my favorite character. It was very disappointing when they show him then take him away. I recommend this game for people who are willing to scroll though meaningless scrip. But some of the scrip is awful and unnecessary. They made Mike sound very stupid. It is very underwhelming after a awesome battle that there is dumb scripting. But overall it is a very fun game.

Love it but the characters need fixed. This game is so good it’s one of my favorite, I never write reviews but I love this game so much I just had to. I love how it has all of the character I do which that they resembled them more

Glitchy. The game is okay, but there are parts that aren’t explained well. The worst bits are the glitches. Sometimes you get in the game—usually when the characters are telling another part to the story, and once you get through the story, you cannot do anything. Nothing happens when you tap options. You can’t play, see the roster, collect stuff from Will, NOTHING! It’s been almost 24 hours since I could do anything. I’m going to lose interest fast if this keeps happening.

Fun in the beginning but grinds to a halt mid way through. The game is really fun for the first few chapters. Clearing levels is easy, the resources you get and character cards are not enough to get progression of stronger characters fast enough meaning you will spend days of not weeks grinding for character packs. This game is also very buggy and it crashes every 4-10 minutes. This ruins the experience especially when doing something like a club boss. If you crash during a level while fighting the club boss which happens frequently you’ll loose your turn and it will count it as an attempt without giving you any progress at all. Overall it’s an ok game but the bugs and difficulty with progressing your characters makes it less fun to play after a while.

TIMEKILLER. This game is amazing, as a stranger things fan this game takes the charm and personality of stranger things and the addictive gameplay of puzzle games and makes it a must play! There are no microtransactions (I think) and NO ADDS although I wish there were more characters, this game is amazing!

Waste of human existence.. What an absolute waste of human existence. This has got to be on the Mount Rushmore of worst games ever made. The only way you could advance in this game is if you spend every waking minute of your day on this ridiculous game. It’s the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over. Who is playing this game and just doing the same mundane ridiculous stupid thing every time you play it? Get a life people.

<3. i don’t write reviews very often, which is why i didn’t title this, but i love this game! i see a lot of people complaining about it not being F2P and i understand the frustration, however if you have a netflix subscription already this game is completely F2P. there’s no need to be a whale to get far in the game, in fact there isn’t even an option to do that! i find it very refreshing to have a game not asking me to pay $5.99 or something for a radio call. i like that you can really play as whoever you want so long as their skills are complimentary to each other, and i unlocked eddie pretty early so that makes me happy since he’s one of my favorites! building up characters and learning game mechanics are pretty easy and i’m now about 16 hours deep in the game (i can’t stop playing this game). i hope we see more characters in upcoming updates (like 001, dmitri, etc.) but honestly i love the game! :)

Good!. Honestly, if you’re a Stranger Things fan but also a Candy Crush fan, you’re gonna love this game. It’s both!! I have a few drawbacks tho, game graphics on some levels are SUPER outdated. I find it hard to extend my characters max level. But other than that, fantastic game!!

Black monkey :). I love this app <3 It’s very unique and I have been waiting for a Stranger things App with all seasons including season 4. All of the other games only have 1 season so that’s why I love this one. But some people don’t have Netflix and idk why you should have to have Netflix just to play the game. But besides that I love it.

This game is awesome!. I totally love the show and this game! It’s so fun to play!! I’m on stage two in the game because I just joined and it’s challenging! But really fun, but when I go to do the tasks then it says pick a team I supposedly don’t see my people so I’m wondering if I need to get more characters or get a higher level in the game or what but this game is 10/10 I totally recommend it!

Why I read this five. I read this five because there’s so many characters and they update it every time there’s a new one or new season I watched all 493 watching it I’m on season three episode one and I really really really like this game I don’t normally typically like puzzle games of this one’s an exception because how fun and how time-consuming it is one time I had to wait two hours to do something and this game literally took up all that time if you haven’t download the game already and you’re just looking through download this game right now I’ve never really reviewed a game before and this is the first one just because how good it is have to get through levels of the math and you can save certain characters once you do you get them on your team like I’ve already saved Nancy and she is a big help and there’s also mini games to where you fight other monsters that are not on your team my favorite one is Max so when I heard they came out with a new legendary Max every time I can borrow her I will I also forgot to mention there’s a portal for the upside down in this game and borrow characters and it’s really fun that’s all I have to say and if you haven’t download the game already if I were you really really do if you’re a big Stranger Things fan and you love to play games like this and you’re in for a really treat and don’t forget to tell me when you’re in the upside down over and out Nike max

✨Addictive ahh game✨. This game is fun! You get to defeat monsters in battle and level up your characters. But you need a Netflix account to play this, so if you don’t have Netflix on your phone, I suggest you download it so you can get this game.

Such a great game⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’ve played a bunch of video games but this one is my favorite it has a lot of fun bits and has a great story line but if you like puzzle games and you like stranger things you’ll like this so much you’ll play it one hour in a row

10 out of 10. I love this game it isn’t glitching and it doesn’t have ads or in app purchases. I have finished stranger things and this game is great for stranger things fans. And every time there’s an update I love going to look at the new characters. I love stranger things and it’s a 10 out of 10 for me!

Simple match-3 on known IP. While the overall theme is awesome, the UI and gameplay feels very sluggish. There always seems to be a bit of delay in every menu change. You can’t swipe the left to view other characters in your roaster. You can’t see your skill description in combat. There isn’t a 2x speed or skip function if you over power the level. And I got burnt out pretty quickly on the global release on labyrinth mode being daily.

Great game!. The reason this is a great game is because I like the concept of leveling up your characters and going through out the levels to reach the end which is a goal to get and they add cool new stuff too every once and a while. And I know that there are other games that have all of the details that I just mentioned but this game is different. It is stranger things themed and I think if you have this game then you probably watch the show too. So that’s how I love the game and I’m pretty sure that other people love it as much as I do if not more!

One of the best Netflix shows ever. Netflix has great shows but Stranger Things is in my top ten. Though there are some shows that I personally think are better but can’t compare. And the three reasons why I love Stranger Things. First, the actors there’s just so good. Second, the CGI in season four when they made Eleven look like a little girl. And third, the Director’s and the Producers are some of the best in the world!😍😍

Could be so much better. It’s incredibly difficult to upgrade characters as it takes so much time to gradually build them up to add in the other. And then, when you get a chance to add them up to 3 or 4 stars, the random way of getting new players to level up constantly gives you one star players which is a complete waste so you have to wait an entire day until you can get another small amount of blue chrystals to try again. VERY frustrating game.

Liked better when scrappable characters were ordered by level. I liked it better when the characters you could scrap that were only on level one were below the characters with a higher level because it was easier to get rid of them at once

I’m blown away!. I’ve never wrote a review on an app but this one I needed to! I absolutely love this game! 1) you can play this endlessly. If you’ve played other games, you know what I mean. No wait time for tokens/etc to respawn. You can just play, it’s refreshing! 2) it works through your Netflix account, so there are no ads nor the constant pressure of using real money. Plus you don’t need to use real money to be good at the game. 3) it’s so much fun! I love matching games but this is not your typical. There’s skill behind it all! The characters do different things and need level ups. In order to get through a hard board, you need the right character combos as well as attention to which colors are more impactful to the enemy. There’s a lot more skill and meaning behind it than a typical matching game! All in all, it’s a great game! I love stranger things and the art on this game is fun. And I will be checking out more Netflix’s games because I love how there’s no ads or pressure to use real money.

Still too difficult. Difficulty levels have been adjusted so players don’t get stuck on a level for ages, but truly this hasn’t prevented that, it’s only delayed where they’ll get stuck on. Max level, near max gear, and max or near max rarity characters still get one shot by regular enemies, to say nothing of the bosses. RNG plays far more of a role than any skill in matching or building teams, which makes the game supremely unfun. I don’t know about anyone else, but having to face a hundred loading screens because my healer keeps getting oneshot on turn 1 repeatedly is far less fun than just… playing literally anything else.

Such a downgrade from the original.. The original version of this game was great. Very fast paced and responsive. This game is the complete opposite. Everything feels sluggish. Get rid of the screen wipes!!! I don’t know how many times I have gone into something unintentionally because I pressed a button, it didn’t respond, then a second later the screen wipe happens as I’m pressing the button again. And please stop with all the dice animations. First of all the stupid dice effects are unneeded. Second I am so tired of waiting for the stupid animations to finish, so I can actually play the game. This is especially painful during the club boss fights. There is a TIMER but you sit there waiting for a bunch of dice animations to slowly change a couple of dice to some random effect. It is absolutely maddening to play. Way to wreck a really well developed game.

This game is amazing. I love this game it’s amazing. It’s very good that you don’t have to pay or see ads pop up every 2 seconds as well. If you love stranger things, then this is the app for you. Now let’s battle some Demogorgons!!!!!

LOVE, but one suggestion. i absolutely love stranger things & i love this game!!!!! one thing i think would be helpful is if we were able to see what our enemies attacks are in battle & also i'd like to be able to see what powers my cards have before i choose them for battle. otherwise great job, thank you so much!!!!

Love this!. I’m the type of person to get a game bc I’m bored and then delete it a couple days later bc I forgot about it or it got boring. But this game has got me hooked for about a month and playing it nonstop! The fact that this is Stranger Things themed it got me more into it and I love the characters. Although I wish there were more versions of characters like punk eleven or hopper with the “Hawaiian” t-shirt lol. Although some levels are REALLY hard to pass, for example I was stuck on one for WEEKS, until I finally passed it. Other than that I love this game and recommend if you like Stranger Things!

Doesn’t know how to be modern. You literally cannot interrupt a session like if you get a call or if a real world thing comes up and you gotta put your phone away. When you come back it’s either frozen on the non functional login stage (I JUST logged in, you stupid app) or it restarts the battle you were in from scratch. Yo: other apps can handle BASIC functionality like this, and you have the backing of Netflix $$ and you still cant pull it together.

Chapter 15 Mission 42 is absurd!. I had a lot of fun with this game until this level. Now it’s impassable, out of balance with how hard the rest of the levels leading up to it are, and I don’t even want to play anymore. This had become my favorite game and I was going to be bummed when I beat all the levels, but apparently I’ll never know as I’ve been stuck at this level for weeks and can’t get past it. Who thought this level was a good idea? What a major letdown.

Amazing game. As I said in the title, the game is amazing, it just needs what I feel are a few tweaks. The main frustration for many players I’ve talked to is getting stuck for days, weeks, and even a month or more on certain levels and chapters. I understand that the game is supposed to get harder as we progress, but hitting these progression walls makes people crazy lol An alternative way to make characters stronger without needing to promote them that might be worth exploring is making the equipment do more than increase a character’s health and attack. It would be cool to see other enhancements, like add armor, weakness, vulnerability, etc. I feel that this would add to the game, not take away. With the right equipment, some levels and chapters would be easier managed without waiting for just the right characters to drop in order to promote them. It would add a level of strategy and choice for the players without tipping the balance or challenge terribly.

Really fun and addicting!. This game is not like the other 100+ match 3 games, it’s really fun and has a good amount of difficulty. I love that there are A LOT OF CHARACTERS! and no 2 people are the same. And there are no adds because you need Netflix to get it! And I love that there are like, a thousand chapters! I recommend this game to everyone!

Great game but…. I had this game before Netflix took it over. I had to delete the non Netflix version and lose all my progress. It’s annoying that I have had to start all over. My characters were leveled high and now I’m back at level one. I wish there was a way to start where I left off.

A surprisingly REALLY fun game. When I first saw the game I didn’t think much of it, but I decided to download it and play, I’ve been playing it for a while and it’s super fun, it’s also kind of addicting lol, I haven’t had any problems with the game yet. And I really like all the characters and their powers! The clubs are also cool and I like how you can fight bosses with other people. But I recommend the game if your a puzzle fan or a stranger things fan, or just someone looking for a fun little game to pass the time!

Waste of time. The game allows you to get to a decent level in the beginning then holds you back. I’ve been stuck at the same place in a chapter and HNL for over a month now. Cashing in shards yields no three star and less two star characters than before. I go through the rounds and play club boss portal every day only to earn more one star characters. I don’t like leaving things undone, but this is infuriating enough to make me stop.

Consistent crashes - where’s dev?. The game consistently crashes during the *only* part of the game involving group participation. In the ‘club boss’ fights, at least one out of three timed rounds freezes up, entirely wiping your score. This wouldn’t be a big deal except the nature of the raid is to work cooperatively and, consistently, 1/3 of attempts are useless with zero damage recorded. It’s not just me - it’s a very common complaint and it seems nothing is being done about it. Other than that - it’s a good game. I appreciate that there aren’t any micro transactions.

Game difficulty problems. I really enjoyed this game until I got to one of the last bosses in Chapter 10. This is a boss that can heal itself for 30% at a time and can fire multiple times per round at your team, sometimes killing 3 out of 5 in one round. My party has 2x Level 140 characters and 3x Level 120. Already tried 50+ times, multiple party configurations and nothing works. The only way to win may be to have an entire party at Level 140, but this is a fool’s errand. You can’t buy the characters you want to level up, so if may take months to level up. You can get characters randomly, so it’s a luck based system. Moreover, without the ability to progress through chapters, you cannot get crystals, so you are left playing the portal once per day, hoping you get the right characters to be able to level up the ones you want. Whole system is ridiculous. I basically already have enough experience to level up the characters to Level 140, but can’t do it without finding the right ones to promote. And you can’t get new characters without crystals and you can’t get crystals easily without progressing through the Chapters.

Best. So honestly this is the best stranger things game I have have ever played. It is so much fun and so amazing. I can not wait for more levels and chapters to come out. After the final season I hope they continue to make more chapters to the game because o never want to stop playing. So ya amazing game and you can make your own team of all your favorite characters. So ya this is a amazing game and if you are a stranger things fan totally recommend!!!!

Downhill since Netflix took over. This game was great until it was shelved and taken over by Netflix. Since then the bugs and limited play as compared to what the game had prior s frustrating. The old version’s pay to play was overly greedy, but the game was stable and had functionality and components this version had lost. This version has no pay to play components (which I respect, there’s to much of that out there). That said it’s glitchy as heck, certain components are locked out, and there are errors in game play. Maybe worst of all, when the game relaunched, the packs previous players received did not come close to returning us to where we were when the game shut down. Also, we were forced to replay multiple levels over starting back at level one. Finally, once you get to certain levels there is no way to move on. Where that is will depend on your level. But, you will hit a wall with no way to keep going because it’s so slow trying to build your levels and characters. I was stuck on the level 15 boss for days and am now stuck early in level 17 with no way to improve my probability. I’m quickly losing interest.

App Crashes. Fun game but bugs out ALOT, esp. when you do your club boss attacks. I go to do my attacks and the game will crash either instantly or wait until my attack is almost finished and crash. The game counts it as an attack too, marking it as 0 for my attack. It’s aggravating to say the least. Definitely needs some work in that area but all in all a fun game.

Fun but a lot of problems!!. Starting out this is a fun game. But very quickly it becomes constant grinding and it’s almost impossible to upgrade your characters. So you’re just stuck forever. Also a lot of serious bugs. The developers are good at communicating with players about the problems but completely worthless at fixing them. The game requires a massive amount of patience and it definitely isn’t worth a Netflix subscription to play. No matter how much we love the show.

This game is so amazing and I love it ( not just because I’m a stranger things fan ) I have one request tho’ when I download the game i was really hoping to see Chrissy Cunningham. She was the reason I found out about stranger things in the first place and since Eddie Munson is in the game I would really love to see Chrissy in game. Any way I love this some levels are hard to beat but I don’t mind. I would recommend this to all stranger things fans and people who love playing puzzle games.

Fun at first then irritating. The first 10 or so chapters are fun to play then it becomes an exercise in tedium. I’m talking days stuck at a single level with no way to earn more currency to level up characters so you can get to the next level. Glitchy payouts where the expected reward just doesn’t show up and now the inventory has been locked for 4 days so I can’t even access stars I did earn leaving me frustratingly stuck on both story line and HNL and now without any high enough characters to do investigations. Save your time and skip this.

Fun. The game is really fun, no complaints there, but the sound just does not work for me :/ I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, reset my device but it just refuses to work. But overall it’s a fun game :D

Too many animations. I love this game, I’ve been playing nonstop since I got it but I only have one problem where the animations are too long.

Best game EVER but…. This is the best game i have ever played but i would recommend some online friend games

Fun. Very fun, but restarts if you aren’t active for not that long while, even if you stay on the app, other than that, very fun 😄😁

Bizarrely Buggy After Relaunch. One weird bug after another, some with fixes that drag on. Some that have turned features off indefinitely. I don’t know if they’re not enforcing coding standards (i.e. they’ve got a hard coded mess) or have inadequate regression testing, but either way the technical team behind this game is incompetent.

Fun game with a few issues. The game is fun and the animations look good. My only issue is it gets stuck on the loading screen really easily sometimes resulting in lost progress. Hope this can get fixed.

Buggy Mess. The game has a bug where it started to loop endlessly, closing the game and restarting over and over again during the tutorial to show how to promote characters. I opened a ticket for help and the staff member stopped responding after saying he was transferring the issue to another team. The ticket was closed without anything being done about the issue afterwards.

It was good until the bugs. Constantly getting ZERO in club boss despite fighting (level 174) but nobody can fix that or wants to. Customer Service is a joke. It was fun at first until things started malfunctioning. The game had potential.

Fun (especially for fans). I like the simple game play and the story that connects all the main stage game elements, but I love the show and I’m happy to play a level or seven each day, throughout the day, with the characters I have fallen in love with as the backdrop.

Question. Were are a Chrissy and barb it would be nice if they were in the game

Must.. Download... I’ve been playing this game since it came out and it’s super fun and addictive. This is probably the bestest game I’ve ever played. One bad thing, You need a Netflix account to play this. Lucky for me, I have one. Other than that the game is amazing.

Beat the game. There’s so many things to do it’s so much fun I really enjoy playing this game you can level up your characters and play different stories

No longer free. I played this game religiously when it first came out. When I saw that it had come back, I was excited! Now that you need a Netflix account to play, I’m no longer enthused. I would understand a flat rate but have no interest in paying $15 a month just to play.

The progression pack but it doesn’t give ur progress and only ur currency. So for those who wrote the stranger things pizz tales form you get a progression pack but except your don’t any progress and only progress is the currency you had before the got shutter down

Wow. This game was my favorite. It was the only thing keeping me up I mean put it’s puzzles. I really love puzzles, so this was the perfect game for me.

Crashes every 5 minutes!!. Hey Staffs, why don’t you fix this issue? Why aren’t they any updates? How is that possible to play when it crashes literally ALL THE TIME? I won’t come back to play until the problem is resolved. So frustrating, so streessful.

Can’t get in the game. I love Stranger Things, and from gameplay screenshots, I can tell that the game is amazing. However, I can’t get into the game. I’ve tried everything from resetting my phone to uninstalling the app. Nothing has worked so far.

fun at first but becomes way too difficult to enjoy.. i’ve been playing this game non stop because i’ve been enjoying it sooo much! but once you get to chapter 12 the opponents become nearly impossible (i’ve seen this feedback from others as well) and it makes the game not enjoyable. im only playing the portal right now and hoping i get good characters and can level up with the random draws to maybe make more progress.

Game story. The game story is not exactly like the show but I still love the game play and how much mobility there is with the story. I love all the characters and the special moves. In all the game is just amazing for a stranger things fan.

Why is a Netflix account required?. I heard about this game on tiktok, and wanted to give it a try. But turns out you need a Netflix account to sign in and play. Why do we need a Netflix account to play a simple match 3 game? Uninstalled.

Most frustrating game. This game has issues with issues of their own. The broken features in the game remain broken for going on 4 months. Completely unbalanced and instead of fixing existing problems they waste time coming up with new additions that make existing problems worse. Save yourself tons of time and loads of annoyance. Play any other game.
