Awesome app, awesome dev!. iMessage and Telegram are a huge part of my life, so anything that can add a bit of whimsy and fun to that experience is basically a godsend. And Sticker Drop delivers! With the new ability to copy a subject from photos in iOS 16, this app makes it super easy to make your own custom sticker packs. I even made stickers of my family; how cool is that? It was already well worth the asking price with its initial feature set, but then the dev goes and adds support for WhatsApp and Telegram 🤯 Seriously, just give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Speaking of the developer, Aaron is absolutely amazing. He was quick to reply to a feature request I sent, offered to include me in testing, and followed up with me once the update was pushed out. This is the kind of experience you'll only get with indie devs, and why supporting them is so crucial. The only real limit here is your imagination, so go make some awesome stickers and share them with the world! 🥳

Everyone I know I put on to this. Literally have convinced dozens of people to download this app, lol! Love it!

Keeps closing. I was able to make 1 sticker then the program kept closing every time I tried to put a description on the sticker. I sent an email and no one has gotten beach with me yet. Disappointing!

I love this so much!. I have made so many stickers and they work beautifully. I just wish this was coordinated with my iPad / iPhone better. But the good thing is that it's easy to airdrop the folders to my devices. Thanks for being my favorite app.

Wish stickers could be combined. Fun to use but i wish stickers could be combined and also edited such as erase areas

Great app, great support. The app is fantastic, works as described. I emailed the developer about not being able to add my stickers packs to WhatsApp and in a matter of days he added that feature and emailed me back to let me know. Thanks!

Fun like apps used to be. Kids today won’t remember but time was you’d regularly come across a piece of software that was surprising and delightful and seemed slightly impossible even. This is the first app in years to delight me in this way. Exceptional execution of a great idea.

Epic. With ios16 and the new cutout feature, this app is the best. Super Easy and organized. It's fast to make stickers and addicting. Plus it's a 1 time cost and no in app purchases. Worth the 💰

Refreshing example why some apps should be paid. I love this app. I got it after seeing it recommended on Reddit, even though it’s relatively “simple” (not in a bad way, just compared to more complex apps filling a more complex need) and it costs money; certain products justify subscription based models to fund development, and some definitely do not. This app was well worth the money upfront and the dev has been fantastic. I would absolutely buy it again. I would also pay more for additional features if they brought significant value. Thank you for being the shining example of a modern, paid app with no subscriptions because there is no need 💖

Incredible. This is such a perfect implementation of such a simple concept using iOS 16’s image isolation API. I’m in love with this app as it’s opened up a whole new world of quick and easy creation of stickers that are specific to my family and friends with easy organization and usage.

Incredible App!. Love this app! I love that they aren’t milking you for a subscription service, they aren’t collecting your data, and it works great to boot. It’s pretty easy to figure out and great customization. The only thing I would change (and this could be user error) is that when I create the stickers I have to go back in and move/copy them to the other folders. It has a place when you create them to say where you want them to go but mine won’t move from the default (or I am doing it wrong). I also love that I can make the stickers and have copies of them in different folders if I choose to. Great app! Love it! Thank you!!

Make my own sticker packs!. Great app! Takes advantage of the new ability to isolate subjects in photos and turn them into stickers. Organizes them into packs/folders that are easily customizable. Family sharing is enabled, I’m super pleased to be able to pass our sticker packs between us. Developer is very responsive - my daughter misunderstood the instructions for importing the pack I sent her, and we contacted the developer, who answered very quickly and with a little troubleshooting swiftly figured out our “user error”. Well worth the $3, especially since the app is being actively developed and improved.

Fun to use, esp with iOS 16. With the new feature in iOS 16 that allows you to quickly lift people/subjects out of any image, this is the perfect app for easily making personal iMessage stickers in seconds. App is well done and easy to use. Great value.

Great, needs iCloud sync and easier labeling. This is a fun app, and well priced. I have made a bunch of stickers to play with and they can be interesting. I’d like to see iCloud backup and sync, to be able to share with my iPad and be sure that my hard work isn’t lost. I’d also like to see the huge ⚠️ emoji reduced or eliminated from the ones without a description. In earlier versions of the program they were just annoying, but in the recent build they became nearly as large as the sticker! I can’t always see if I’m sending the right one. Perhaps developer can give a “list” view so I can scroll down and assign names to each one. Names are not that important to me, so it’s frustrating to see nothing but a large ⚠️ instead of the sticker.

Best $1 I’ve ever spent. That’s all i’ve got to say.

Limited. Don’t work with WhatsApp, works only with iMessage

Best $2.99 I've spent. This app is a gem. Lots of functionality and has provided countless hours of laughter within family threads. Feature request: not sure if it's possible but would be great to be able to edit the stickers a bit more. Sometimes the auto lifting feature in iOS picks out random unrelated, even unconnected elements at times. Would be nice to be able to 'cut' them off. Or even create circular crops to get rid of hard edges when lifted from the edge of the photo.

First Messages app in ages that is actually fun. This is the kind of I’ve been hoping to see since iOS 10, but the iOS 16 release of Photo Cutout was really needed to make it happen. It’s super fun and really polished. Truly built in the best traditions of indie development. Two feature requests— most frequent section kind of like on the emoji keyboard A keyboard app or auto saving all stickers to an album so I can send these to my family Google chat. I’ve tried to get everyone to migrate to any other platform but it ain’t gonna happen.

Not working, right. Can you tell me if I actually bought this app because I do believe I did but it’s not working every one of my pictures has a green checkmark on it I don’t know what that means

Great app but. When I first bought and downloading this app, it was great and I couldn't stop using it. The border and remove background features were great and it was everything I wanted. But, now with the new iOS update anyone can do this without spending a dollar with this app. Don't download this app now because apple ruined it

Great start with room for improvement. The app works very well for what is meant to be used. You can copy and paste from the photos app into it, and you can seamlessly post them in iMessages. They being said, if it gets the following , it’s a definite 5 star app: 1. Ability to export stickers - there’s really no way to do it at this time. When you copy them for use elsewhere, they become photos. 2. Sync across devices - whether through iCloud or other cloud services. 3. Use in other messaging apps - it’d be great to use these in WhatsApp, telegram and hopefully Signal, among other platforms. Very good start for the app and room to make it better. Keep up the good work.

More of what the AppStore needs. Simple apps that are super useful that aren’t bloated with Spyware or shady subscription practices. It’s only $2.99 and what’s even better is the developer is still kind enough to enable family sharing. Meaning you can buy it once and buy it for your household. It’s kinda awesome. And to prove it I think this is my first or second review ever. As a fellow developer I noticed some UX things I think can be done to enhance to experience but aside from that I love it and am already telling family members and friends about it.

Exactly what it says it does, no ads, no dumb subscriptions. This is quite easily the best app I’ve ever purchased. It does exactly what it says it does, it works intuitively, and it doesn’t make you subscribe in order to continue using it. I have made untold numbers of stickers of my dog, and I love that I can send the sticker packs to other people. This is really the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Great app!. Will you please consider adding the ability to add a brief bottom text to the sticker?

Now supports WhatsApp!. Great app! The developer is very responsive and recently added WhatsApp support as well.

Potential to Inprove. It’s a good app. Me and my wife loved using it all the time. Unfortunately (or not) Apple introduced some sticker-making capabilities in the most recent update which could potentially kill this app. I hope it doesn’t happen. I hope the developer sees this as an opportunity to keep updating it and add more features. It already offers some customization than the apple function is capable of. I particularly LOVE the ability to snap a photo right there in a message and send as a sticker—I think this functionality would make me choose this over Apple already, but the caveat is the terrible quality of the photo if you decide to remove the background. SO… there’s room for improvement. Developer did a great little app and I just hope he doesn’t leave this abandoned but sees it as an opportunity to make it better.

Excellent app with one caveat. This is an excellent and simple app that works exactly as advertised. The only drawback is that I lost all my stickers when I got a new phone; the app transferred over but none of my stickers did—not even the default ones.

Perfectly simple and simply perfect!. So easy to just click and drop images from your photo library and create a near instant custom sticker. No subscription, no hassle, just one well thought out app.

Delightful app. Being able to turn photos of my son into stickers by just dragging him out of photos and into the app is so simple. They all just pop and are amusing to drop into chats with my wife. I have recommended this this app to so many people because it’s just so darn fun! Update: iOS 17 just dropped with native sticker support but my first impressions are that Sticker Drop is still the best way to make stickers. Minus the effects Apple added (which I’m not sure I’ll use much), Sticker Drop provides better customization and the ability to share sticker packs! I mentioned it in my initial review, but it brings me so much joy when I snap a photo of my kids and immediately think ‘this will make an awesome sticker!’ and I immediately drag them into Sticker Drop. Love it! Even with iOS 17 I plan to continue to use it over the built in stuff.

I never leave reviews.. But, I had to for this one. One of the best apps I’ve ever used. So intuitive and easy. Absolutely love it. I do wish there was an image editor built in. It would be nice to crop and edit images, especially with borders.

A+. It’s been a while since I really enjoyed an app this much. This is an example of an app doing one thing and doing it perfectly. Also an excellent example of taking a unique operating system feature and turning it into a really useful utility. It’s great for simple, plain fun. It helped me reincarnate some stickers that have been off the App Store for ages by looking through photos in my iMessage chats and picking out the sticker from the saved image. And I love that it supports Telegram and WhatsApp, - it has always been my wish to have a common tool to use across various chat clients, as they all have different sets that I like, - this app solves that problem. Maybe not completely but it gets very close. Great effort, keep up the good work!

This app is awesome!!. I have a sticker pack that I saved from another app (BBM) which I had to access via the Photos app within iMessage, the album they were contained in them then share to iMessage as an image. It was tedious. Now, thanks to this app I just open it and choose then place the sticker on the text I want to. It’s so easy and quick!! Thanks dev! I just wish you had access to BBM Enterprise so I could inset them into the original app. Just a heads-up for other users - to use in WhatsApp make your sticker packs no bigger than 30 stickers. My pack has 201!

Doesn’t work with WhatsApp. Doesn’t work with WhatsApp or any other message app. Only iMessages.

The app apple forgot to make. Works flawlessly with iOS 16! I can’t believe Apple didn’t make it themselves but very glad to see someone thought of it and executed it perfectly.
